The school had turned into a riot as the flame roared and the atmosphere filled with the scream of the people and the firing of the gun.
Slowly opening her eyes, Kanon was honestly feared to check her injury whether it was minor that she could survive or serious that she could die from any second, minute, or hour due to her stupid curiosity of the white box that turned out to be a bomb. As her eyes opened, she saw a male's uniform shirt and looked up to see Kazuhiro who was scanning around the area. She was shocked that she was saved by him from the explosion but worried if he sustained any injury due to him shielding her. Kazuhiro looked down at her and sighed in relief. He then asked, "Are you okay, Chiyoda-Senpai?"
"I'm fine," replied Kanon.
Kazuhiro released his arms from Kanon and stood up to his feet. He reached his hand for her and she agreed to grab his hand. He pulled her up to his feet and they turned to see the chaotic area. Some of the students ran around like headless chickens, not knowing where the shelter was and the smoke still rising everywhere along with the sound of the gun firing.
"What the hell is going on?" Kanon asked Kazuhiro in bewilderment while still looking around the area.
"Terrorist attack," Kazuhiro responded before turning to Kanon. "Chiyoda-Senpai, go to the school auditorium right now."
"What about you? Are you not coming with me?" Kanon asked in her concerned tone.
"Sorry, I'm not coming," Kazuhiro replied before running away from Kanon.
"Hey! Don't be an idiot! Hey!" Kanon shouted in her furious and frightened tone but fell deaf to Kazuhiro who was already out of her sight.

Hearing the fearful commotions among the audience, Daisuke cannot blame them for panicking from the explosion. He looked left and right to see their faces filled with mostly fear. He stood up halfway from his seat and scanned around the area carefully from his vantage point where he was seated on the second floor. His eyes caught a few students who were suspiciously running away but were apprehended by committee members. He knew that they were associated with the terrorist because Kazuhiro called him yesterday about it.
The Previous Evening
Shopping District, Hachioji, Tokyo
"What? You mean the coalitions were partnered up with Blanche in the first place?" Daisuke asked in shock.
Daisuke and Kazuhiro were walking down the street of the shopping district while Kazuhiro carried his plastic bag filled with food ingredients from the grocery store that he bought from before encountering Daisuke.
"Yes but no. The coalitions were most likely being manipulated by Blanche's tactics or their magic." Kazuhiro corrected Daisuke's speculation. "I know that they are going to launch a surprise attack on the school by tomorrow because of the open forum between Mayumi-Senpai and the coalitions."
"It makes perfect sense that it will be held at the auditorium and the student council and student committee will be there too," Daisuke responded, agreeing with Kazuhiro.
"However, I'm not sure their timing of the attack but it could be during the talk," said Kazuhiro.
"What kind of surprised attack might they do?" Daisuke asked out of his thoughts.
"I'm not sure, but I'm not going to be at the auditorium by tomorrow," Kazuhiro replied with a sigh of tiredness.
"You're not going to attend the talk, Kaz?" Daisuke asked with raised eyebrows.
Kazuhiro shook his head. "I will be outside of the auditorium to look out for Blanche."
"Are you sure you can handle it by yourself?"
"Of course, I can. Who the hell do you think I am?" Kazuhiro answered and later questioned Daisuke's doubt with a frown. "Plus, I already asked Kirihara for our assistance."
"Your friend?" Daisuke asked in shock as he never knew that Kazuhiro had a friend before but he was certain that he wanted to keep his life private.
"He's a second-year and first-course student and a member of Kenjutsu Club," Kazuhiro described Kirihara's basic details to Daisuke. "He will help us since he is going to do his club activities by tomorrow and during the auditorium."
"Anything else more about him?"
"His emotions get the better of him and clouded his sense sometimes regardless he's not like other students who looked down on the low-tier magician," Kazuhiro added extra detail about Kirihara with his fault.
"You honestly reveal your friend's flaws first, don't you?" Daisuke asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Honestly yes, because people need to know each other's flaws first whether they liked it or not because this is an important part to know and fix it," Kazuhiro said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Maybe you're right…" Daisuke sighed.
Present
First High School, Hachioji, Tokyo
Daisuke snapped out upon hearing the sound of the breaking window and swiftly moved his head to see a canister fly over and it landed on the ground of the first floor. It released a green smoke but the smoke swirled around it and turned into a ball with an outer barrier. He looked in the direction of the ball to see the vice-president who was one conjuring it. He lifted the ball and threw it out of the window where it crashed into it.
Daisuke sighed in relief that the audition was safe from being gassed but all of the sudden, the door burst open and a group of five armed terrorists with their gas masks ran into the open door. Unfortunately, they staggered back while one of them held his hand onto his neck as if they cannot breathe through this mask. He looked at Mari casting her magic on them, giving a chance for the committee members to detain them immediately.
"All students, please calm down and listen," Mayumi said through a microphone to the audience. "You'll be alright."
The audience seemed to be settled down from their anxiety by Mayumi's reassuring voice. Daisuke began to stand up on his feet and walked towards the stairs to head down to the first floor. As he reached the ground floor, he saw Tatsuya and Miyuki dashed off to the door in a hurry. He wondered where they were heading but shrugged it away as he needed to focus on helping to evacuate the audience to the safe location even though he was not part of the committee.

"Damn it!"
Kirihara hit the terrorist in the stomach with the shinai in his hand. As the terrorist fell to the ground, another one charged towards him, readied to thrust his knife towards him but his knife flew off his hand by Kirihara's shinai and he received a hit to his head. Kirihara breathed out and looked around to see some unconscious terrorists on the ground while some of his clubs were either helping their few fallen to safety for medic treatment or fighting with the remaining terrorist in the sports hall. He had no idea what was just transpired in the second. One moment where he was going to change his school uniform to his club's uniform for the activities and then there was an explosion, gun firing, and a group of terrorists marching in to kill him and the students.
"Kirihara, look out!"
Kirihara quickly turned around by one of his club's members shouting and to see the terrorist swinging down the barton onto him. He, fortunately, blocked the attack and moved to the right while pulling his shinai away from the barton to stagger the terrorist. He then struck him from behind.
'Look like Kaz was right all along. I seriously hate him for being right," Kirihara thought with a little annoyance while focusing on dealing with the remaining terrorist.
[~~~~~]
Kazuhiro was having a little difficulty dealing with some terrorists in his direction of running. He took them down each with his takedown while dodging and blocking their attack with his duel sticks. While he was running, he came across Leo fighting with the terrorist with his fists. It was impressive to see him last for long without his CAD equipment.
Without wasting his time, Kazuhiro twirled one of his sticks from top to bottom and merged both. He twisted it by ninety degrees and it extended its length from both sides, transforming into a bo staff. He low swung at the terrorist's leg to flew him in the air and once the terrorist was in the air for a moment, he swung his staff down at him to crash into the ground. This made few terrorists notice his presence, giving Leo more time to defeat them.
Kazuhiro dashed towards the terrorist, who was surprised to see him, without hesitation and thrust his staff to the chest thrice. He swung it from right to the head, knocking him out.
The terrorist, who wielded a knife, charged towards Kazuhiro to stab. Kazuhiro was fortunate enough to hit the knife away from the terrorist's grip upward and thrust it to his chest, staggering. Another terrorist tried to swing his barton down on him, but he swiftly stepped back and swung upward to his chin, making him stagger. He then swung his staff to the right side of his abdomen, hitting him. As the terrorist recovered from the hit in the chest, he was unfortunately hit to his face by the kick from Kazuhiro who jumped in the air with his staff.
The group of terrorists arrived at the scene and began to conjure their magic with their CAD-shaped wrist bracelets. The ground began to crack and the debris hovered in the air in front of them. It then flew straight towards Kazuhiro and Leo.
"Kaz, look out!" Leo shouted as he jumped to the right to avoid being hit by the debris.
Kazuhiro swung his staff and smashed the debris into pieces and ducked down from another one. He stood up and moved to his fighting stance. He pointed his staff at the group, who were about to conjure again. However, they suddenly flew up into the air and fell to the ground. He and Leo lowered their guards and turned to see Tatsuya and Miyuki jogging towards them.
"Tatsuya, what the hell is going on," Leo asked Tatsuya.
"Terrorists have invaded the school," replied Tatsuya.
"That serious, huh?" Leo said in shock after hearing Tatsuya's answer.
"Leo!"
The group turned to see Erika running towards them from the other side with two CAD-shaped weapons; Barton and Gauntlet.
"Erika!"
Erika stopped at her track and saw the terrorist lying on the ground unconsciously around the group. She frowned in disappointment that she missed the action, "...Huh, it's already over." She looked over to see some unconscious terrorists with bruises, scratch, bleeding, or all of it and found it to be too extreme that her friends had done it. "That was rather excessive. Did Tatsuya-Kun do this or was it Miyuki?"
As Miyuki was about to answer, Kazuhiro beat it to her. "It's Miyuki." He turned to her and tilted his head while raising his eyebrow in curiosity. "Did you always do it to anyone who irritated and disrespect you when you're pissed off?"
"Of course not, Kazuhiro. I'm not that kind of brute who beaten up people for no reason," Miyuki pouted.
"If you said so, Miyuki," Kazuhiro responded, shrugging his shoulders.
Erika looked at Kazuhiro and became surprised at his staff. "Where do you get it, Kazuhiro?"
"That's my self-defense weapon,"
"So then, is it alright to strike at these guys?" Erika asked with a smirk
"There's no need to hold back if they're not students," Tatsuya calmly replied.
Erika laughed, "Aha, and I thought high school would be a boring place."
"Scary. So this is what a bloodthirsty woman looks like," Leo commented as he felt a little shiver in his back from Erika.
"Shut up," Erika retorted, raising her right hand halfway, but self-consciously pulled back from stabbing forward with her baton.
"By the way, what are you two doing together in this area? Are you two dating?" Kazuhiro asked bluntly.
Both Leo and Erika were stupefied by an abrupt question from Kazuhiro, especially Miyuki who was surprised at his blunt despite being curious towards them. They blushed as they cannot conceal their composed expression.
"Dating!? We're not dating at all! This guy was already here when I came by to practice!" Erika shrieked at Kazuhiro.
"You're mistaken! I was here to work more on my practical skills!" Leo raised his voice at Kazuhiro too.
"Ok, ok, we get it," Tatsuya said as he was satisfied with Erika and Leo's reaction caused by Kazuhiro. He then quickly curtailed his thoughts. "Erika, did you see any other trespassers?"
"The teachers are guarding the other side. No wonder they're teachers, seeing as all the trespassers have already been apprehended." Erika responded in a heavy tone as if the earlier interruption had not occurred. Her tone was neither solemn nor joking.
Fortunately, Leo was able to speak out to ease the tension. "Even though I was having trouble with them, I'd say those guys were only third-rate Magicians at best. I'm just not used to dealing with magic when it's three against one," He said, downplaying the scene while looking around the unconscious terrorists on the floor. He turned to Kazuhiro. "I would be beaten up if it isn't for you to arrive in time, Kaz."
"I'm just doing what I can do," replied Kazuhiro.
Erika looked at Kazuhiro and his staff with her widened eyes in surprise. She did not realize that he was wielding his weapon. "I didn't know that you were holding your secret weapon just now."
"I always keep it with me in case of a dangerous situation whenever I am outside or inside of the school," Kazuhiro replied with honesty.
"Well, it's already here," Erika said, referring to the situation that the school was in.
"Erika, were there any problems with the offices?" Miyuki asked Erika.
"The teachers quickly got that area under control, considering that's where they store most of the valuables," Erika answered.
"That's unusual…"
The group turned to Tatsuya.
"There's nothing but outdated CADs in the practical skills building. Destroying the building would simply affect classes," explained Tatsuya.
"There isn't much damage being dealt with the school… So then perhaps their objective is one of the buildings?" Miyuki guessed an answer to Tatsuya.
"That's right…" Tatsuya agreed with Miyuki's guess. "Aside from destruction, it would be a place that could seriously impede school operations."
"The science labs and library…"
The group turned around to Kazuhiro from Tatuya who looked at him in surprise.
"You're right, Kazuhiro-San. I was reaching the same conclusion as you." Tatsuya said with a little hint of surprise in his tone before asking. "How did you know?"
"I was supervised by Mari during the recruitment week and we walked around the entire campus to follow her job," answered Kazuhiro.
"Yes, I remember. Leo, Erika, and Mizuki were having a conversation about you jumping down to the pool from the rooftop," Tatsuya recalled the incident with a simple description, making Kazuhiro nod. "The science labs hold out important equipment and data and the library stores research materials that can only be accessed at a magic high school."
"So this place was only a diversion… unless the protests during the forum were in itself the diversion," said Miyuki
"No, I believe the coalition's actions were genuine. They were just being used," replied Tatsuya.
"Worry about that later, Miyuki," Kazuhiro said before turning to the group. "How should we proceed from here?" He began to voice out a suggestion, "Should we split up into two groups or all of us go straight for either the sciences lab or library?"
The group had a tough time agreeing with either of the decisions. Their first option would be to split themselves up to cover both locations but they would encounter more trouble despite Tatsuya and Miyuki being the most talented magicians, much to Kazuhiro's eyes. Alternately, they could all head for one of the two locations while being safe together, but they would gamble their chance to choose which places that the terrorist would likely be there to steal. While they were in the process of their thought, they were interrupted by a familiar female voice.
"Their main target is the library."
The group turned around to see Haruka walking towards them.
"Ono-Sensei?"
Kazuhiro noticed Haruka's expression filled with tension and nervousness as it gave off air as if she was not entirely herself to them despite knowing her for almost more than a year.
"The main force is already breaking into the building. Mibu-San is also there with them," said Haruka.
The group's gaze focused on Tatsuya, but Tatsuya fixed his eyes on Haruka and spoke without hesitation, "Is it alright if you can explain everything after all this?"
"No, I won't," Haruka denied Tatsuya's appeal as she closed her eyes in hesitation. "Is what I'd like to say. But since you're going…" She slowly opened his eyes. "If I could ask you for a favor instead."
"What's that?" Tatsuya questioned Haruka.
Although Haruka had a hesitant expression, she wasn't stumbling over her words, nor doing anything else that wasted valuable time. "I would like to request as Counselor Ono Haruka. Please give Mibu-san a chance. Since last year began, she has been burdened by the dissonance that comes from her status as a valued kendo athlete versus the value assigned to Course 2 students. Even though she's asked to see me several times... I was incapable of offering her comfort. In the end, that created the opportunity for those guys to get to her."
"That's pathetic!"
Haruka stopped in shock at Tatsuya's ruthless rejection.
"Let's go, Miyuki," Tatsuya said as he began to move.
"Ok," Miyuki acknowledged as she followed Tatsuya.
"Tatsuya, Wait!" shouted Leo.
Tatsuya stopped and turned around to the group. "Being overly sentimental over this will end up hurting others, not just yourself."
While the group began to move, Kazuhiro was however not going to move as he switched his bo staff to duel stick by twisting back and detaching. He put it back to his hostler and turned his head to Haruka with a hint of little sympathy. "You did try your best to make your request for Tatsuya."
"I know but I guess Tatsuya was right," Haruka said as she turned to Kazuhiro. "Do you?"
"Honestly, yes," Kazuhiro sighed in apprehension. He understood Tatsuya's words and believed that they came from his own experiences despite beginning to have a little curiosity to find out his personal life. Being emotional, such as sentimental, in a dangerous situation would lead everyone to their demise and it was best not to feel it to survive. He turned his head to the front and began to instruct, "Do your job to assist the teachers to apprehend the intruder."
"Got it, Kazuhiro," Haruka replied. "Be careful out there. Try not to hurt yourself from the last time I saw you back in Shibuya."
"I can't promise but I will try."
Kazuhiro began to run to join the group but while running, he took his earpieces out of the pocket with his right hand and his phone in his left hand from it too. He put his earpieces on his ear and began to tap and swipe on his phone to contact both Daisuke and Kirihara.
[~~~~~]
While the students were led by committee members to their safety outside of the audition, Daisuke was still inside as he was waiting for the crowd to be lessened. He looked at the unconscious terrorist being cuffed with zip-tie handcuffs by the member and turned to the window to see some smoke rising outside. He stared at it while thinking that the situation had gotten worse as there was some gun firing and explosion noise away from the place.
"Daisuke."
Hearing Suzune's voice, Daisuke turned around to see her who was looking at him with a concerned expression.
"Are you alright, Daisuke?" Suzune questioned Daisuke out of her concern.
"I'm fine, Suzune," Daisuke replied before asking, "What about you? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine, Daisuke. That's no need for you to be concerned for my well-being," Suzune responded, comforting his worries.
Daisuke sighed in relief, "That's good."
Suzune was honestly worried if Daisuke stood rooted to the ground with fear but seeing him, he was mentally alright as he was not scared but worried, which made her a little relieved. She should now ask him to join the students to their safety but the explosion near the audition disrupted her, making them look outside of the window for a moment. They sighed in relief that the explosion did not destroy the outer wall and window. Suddenly, Daisuke felt a vibrance in his pocket and shoved his hand to grab something. He took it out, revealing his phone, and looked at the caller, which was Kazuhiro. He turned around from Suzune and slowly walked away from her out of her hearing. He swiped a green button to the left to answer his call.
"Kazuhiro," Daisuke greeted Kazuhiro.
"Daisuke, how is the situation at the audition?" asked Kazuhiro.
"It was handled well and a lot of students were evacuated to safety," Daisuke answered.
"That's good and I'm not surprised that Mari and the student committee were the ones to handle this kind of situation," Kazuhiro commented with his chuckle in delight.
"Where are you, Kazuhiro?"
"I'm heading to the library with Tatsuya and his friends right now because Blanche's true objective is there."
"Ah, it made sense that…"
"I already know because Tatsuya told us about it along with the information from his teacher, Ono-Sensei, but this is not important right," Kazuhiro said before his voice turned serious. "I need you to go to the Science Lab to check if they are there as well just in case they might steal equipment and data if they failed to obtain the research material from the library."
"Okay, but I don't have any access card or password to the lab."
"Daisuke, there's no need to use it because this is a dire situation so you have to break in or let them break in so that you will not be responsible."
"It's easy for you to say that." Daisuke groaned. "But okay, I'm going to head there."
"Good luck."
Their conversation on the phone ended. Daisuke shoved his phone into his pocket and turned around to go to the entrance to the science lab outside but stopped in surprise to see Suzune standing in front of him. He did not know unless Suzune was sneakily walking towards him to eavesdrop on his conversation with Kazuhiro. He was about to ask, but she straight away questioned him. "You're heading to the science lab, aren't you?"
Daisuke sighed in defeat that Suzune was indeed eavesdropping on his conversation with Kazuhiro. He looked at Suzune and asked, "Are you going to stop me?"
Suzune unexpectedly shook her head. "No, I'm not but I'm coming with you, Daisuke."
"Eh! You're coming with me?" Daisuke repeated Suzune's words. "But…"
Suzune swiftly moved her finger and placed it against Daisuke's mouth to shush him up. "I can protect myself, Daisuke, and I know the shorter path to the science lab." She moved her finger away from his mouth. "Whether you're against it or not, I'm coming with you."
Daisuke was mentally opposed to Suzen going with him because of the danger outside, but knowing her since their childhood, he could not stop her once her mind was set on her objective. He had no other alternative but to make her stay with the students for her safety. He closed his eyes in little frustration for a moment until he opened with his serious expression. "Alright, but stay together with me. I can't protect you when we're far apart."
"As I said before, I can protect myself," Suzune repeated with her chuckle.
[~~~~~]
In front of the Library building, people were still fighting. The terrorist carried daggers, barton sticks, and other projectile weaponry beside their CADs. While there was a small group of students mixed in, the majority were terrorists. The third-year students that anchored the defensive line did not have their CADs but possessed an overwhelming advantage in Magic. Even without it, they could use magic and handheld weapons to deny them as possible.
"They already using melee tactics," Tatsuya said as he analyzed the terrorists' use.
Leo was suddenly the first one plunging into the fray with his roar.
"Leo?!"
"PANZER!"
A sequence appeared, covering Leo's gauntlet and he punched the terrorist's face with his enhanced gauntlet.
"Invoking magic with a vocal command? That's also pretty rare to do…" Erika said, being impressed at the sight of Leo fighting with the terrorist.
While Tatsuya was teaching Erika about Leo's magic function, Kazuhiro and Miyuki were busy fightings even though they fought as well. While Miyuki was casting her spell, she glanced at Kazuhiro and was shocked to see him viciously beating the terrorists. She felt a little frightened at the sight of him swinging the terrorist around and kicking his leg to knee down. He then dislocated his shoulder, making him scream, and punched him. Another terrorist tried to thrust his dagger at Kazuhiro but countered as his arm was caught. Kazuhiro kicked another terrorist's leg, tripping him. He then smashed down on his face with his foot.
Erika noticed Kazuhiro's fighting and honestly found him to be a little too extreme on handling the terrorist while still hearing Tatsuya talking to her because the way he fought, made them be suffering from a major injury such as dislocated joint bone, concussion, bruise, and bleeding. She felt little sympathy for them facing him even though they were trying to kill them. Even without any weapons, he was a somewhat formidable person.
Kazuhiro dodged the incoming projectile such as rock and ice-like bundle and shard with ease as he conjured his spell to increase his agility. Leo, on the other hand, smashed it into pieces and blocked an incoming attack by the terrorist. His gauntlet was made with a barton stick, emitting a small shower of spark. He punched him while shouting, "PANZER!"
"Huh…? Are the activation sequence and magic invocation occurring at the same time?" Miyuki asked Tatsuya, noticing Leo's magic sequence.
"He's utilizing it in succession. The magic effect dissipates at a fixed rate. But during the invocation, the next activation is expanded, making the effect continuous," Tatsuya explained.
Erika saw the terrorist charging towards Leo with his dagger pointing at him, making it thrust.
"Leo, behind you!" shouted Erika.
As the knife made contact with Leo, the blade broke into tiny pieces, making him smirk. He punched the terrorist's face with full force, making the terrorist spit out the blood.
"I see. It's not just CAD, but he even fortifies magic to his uniform," Tatsuya said, impressed at Leo. "It's as if he is completely covered in armor plating."
"Agree," Kazuhiro replied, agreeing with Tatsuya. He countered the terrorist by punching up with his fist to release the barton from the grip. He grabbed it and hit it many times onto the terrorist until he swung it to his face.
Tatsuya saw the space where he and his friends fought and called them. "Alright. Let's push through the opening that Leo's made."
"Ok," Miyuki replied along with the nod of Erika and Kazuhiro.
As the group made a run towards the library, Tatsuya turned his head around to Leo. "Leo!"
Leo turned around to Tatsuya who was running while looking back at him.
"We're going on ahead!" Tatsuya said loudly.
"Yeah! I got this!" Leo replied loudly as well as he turned back and continued to fight to assist the students to detain the terrorist.
[~~~~~]
"So, how are you going to tell the president that you ran off with me without asking for her permission?" Daisuke questioned Suzune while they were running through the chaos.
"Mayumi would understand mine and your intentions but she would get upset at me only for putting myself in danger," Suzune answered firmly.
"I guess that you knew her very well for the past three years of the school you're in," Daisuke said while glancing around the mayhem in the school.
Some of the third years' students were fighting the terrorist with and without their CADs due to their magic and combat ability. They were still able to fight with ease despite the confusion in the invasion at their school, especially their assistance which was the first and second-year students.
"I knew Mayumi's attitude during my three years of school, especially her weakness which might be my advantage." Suzune chuckled.
"You're honestly showing your little delinquent side, Suzune," Daisuke said in a surprised tone before asking. "What kind of attitude do you learn from?"
"Sorry, Daisuke. I can't reveal it to you," Suzune replied, denying Daisuke about her bad attitude.
"You're embarrassed?" Daisuke guessed Suzune's current attitude.
"No, I'm not," Suzune shut Daisuke down without hesitation but she had a little blush on her cheek which was not noticeable to him who was too concentrated on the pandemonium in the school.
As Daisuke and Suzune reached the science laboratory building, they stopped at the track to see Kirihara kicking the terrorist's abdomen with his foot. Kirihara stood still while huffing to slowly control his breathing due to the unconscious terrorists on the ground. He was never been so tired due to some terrorists wielding their guns so he dodged their firing and he now trying to rest to restore stamina. He turned around to see them standing there with their surprised faces. He squinted his eyes to see their faces clearly but saw Suzune with widened eyes.
"Ichihara-senpai," Kirihara greeted before straightening himself up.
"Are you Kirihara Takeaki, Second-year student of Class C and in charge of Kenjutsu Club?" Suzune asked Kirihara's identity.
"Yes," Kirihara affirmed Suzune's question.
"Excuse me," Daisuke said, making Kirihara turn around to face him. "Are you Kazuhiro's friend?"
Kirihara was surprised to hear from Daisuke. He wondered how he knew Kazuhiro as he asked him casually as if he was one of Kazuhiro's friends. "Yeah, I'm his friend. How do you know him?"
"I'm Kazuhiro's friend too, Ichihara-senpai," Daisuke replied without hesitation.
Hearing Daisuke's answer, Kirihara groaned in irritation. "Ugh, what the hell? Kazuhiro never told me about him." He glanced at Daisuke with a hint of curiosity, making Daisuke a little uncomfortable.
"Is there something wrong," Daisuke asked Kirihara with worries.
"No, and sorry for my behavior just now," Kirihara apologized to Daisuke before asking. "When did you meet him?"
"Two weeks ago at my workplace, I believe," Daisuke answered in an unsure tone as he does not remember the date where he and Daisuke met. He suddenly realized that Suzune was with him and never intend to tell her about his part-time private detective which was a dangerous career that involved kidnapping, murdering, and gun blazing.
"You're working as a part-timer?" questioned Suzune in her shocked tone. "If so, why didn't you tell me about it?"
"Well…"
"Sorry to shut your parade down but we have guests on their way!"
Daisuke and Suzune turned around to see the terrorist group running towards them with their guns, daggers, and barton and Kirihara moved to his fighting stance to prepare to attack. Kirihara however widened his eye to notice one of the terrorist groups wielded a rocket launcher. The terrorist fired a missile out of his rocket launcher and it flew towards them. As they were about to move, Daisuke ran to the front, much to their shock, and took out his phone-shaped CAD.
"Oi, you idiot!" Kirihara cursed at Daisuke as he began to move towards Daisuke.
"Daisuke!" yelled Suzune in her fearful tone.
However, the missile exploded, producing smoke to cover the area while forcing both Suzune and Kirihara to close their eyes and cover their faces with both forearms to protect themselves. Suzune was dreadful to think that Daisuke might be dead and imagined his lifeless body on the ground along with his blood and organs. She hates to think about it and does not want it to become her worst nightmare.
"Holy shit…"
Hearing Kirihara's words, Suzune slowly lowered her forearms and slowly opened her eyes. As her eyes were fully opened, she saw Daisuke who was still standing, unhurt in the middle of the smoke being cleared away. She was relieved and content to see him alive but noticed something beside him. She looked away from Daisuke to the object with curiosity but widened in shock to find out that it was not an object but an animal; a tiger.
"Daisuke…" Suzune mumbled in shock. She wanted to
Byakko growled at the terrorists and roared with its might, scaring them to death. Daisuke breathed in and out to relax and looked at the terrified terrorists with his glare.
"Byakko, injure them."
Extra Note
This is the end of part one of this chapter. I have already revealed Kazuhiro's magic in the previous two chapters and his magic is weak and basic but he can utilize it in his fighting. His magic is simply to enhance his human ability. Despite his fighting skill, he was weak in magic and likely to be defeated by a few characters like Tatsuya, Miyuki, or Mayumi. Tons of his magic and its function will be revealed in the future.
So, what do you think of this chapter? If you have any problems with this story, I will try my best to rewrite it to suit your taste.
