Next Morning

-Log Cabin-

"Mmm…mm….hmmm?" Saito mumbles as he slowly begins to wake up. He has been sleeping on a bed of straw in between Louise and Siesta the entire night. Somehow, in the middle of the night, his left hand managed to land itself straight onto one of Siesta's breasts. Unfortunately, he only registers the softness and nothing else. At least, until he fully wakes up.

"Ahhhh!" He screams, which wakes everyone up. Louise is the first to sit up and look over at him, trying to figure out why he is screaming. Once she realizes what exactly is going on since for some reason he hasn't moved his hand at all yet, her look of concern quickly turns to one of anger.

"Saito! You dog!" Bringing out her wand from seemingly nowhere, she quickly casts a small explosion spell right in front of Saito which blasts both him and Siesta a small way away.

"Oww!" He yelps as he is blasted.

"Huh…what just happened?" Siesta asks right after sitting up.

Louise stands up and hovers over Saito, looking at him as intimidatingly as possible. It is clear she is pissed off.

"What the heck was that?" Anthony asks as he and Faye sit up as well and rub their eyes. They are in another corner of the cabin. The former looks to his right to see Agnes already up and shaking her head at the events that just occurred. Tiffania, sleeping in the only bed available in the cabin, looks on with a scared look in her eyes.

"Louise! What was that for?!"

"Y-Y-You really do like big ones don't you?! Y-you were ogling Tiffania's yesterday a-and now…now you…"

Saito frantically waves his arms in front of him, "Woah! Wait! I didn't mean to! This is a misunderstanding!

Saito was ogling me? Tiffania wonders.

Siesta adds in an unhelpful comment, "I didn't expect you to be bold like that Saito. However, I don't really mind. Hehe."

Anthony whispers something to Faye, to which she replies, "Yes, understood."

Even though none physically appear, Saito suddenly feels like there is a wall of blue fire right behind Louise. Her right eyebrow starts to twitch erratically. "Saito…"

"Oh come on! Why don't you believe me?! I did it in my sleep! I really didn't mean it!"

"Stop making excuses!" She yells. As she is bringing down her wand and about to say "explosion" to blow him up again, a hand suddenly grabs the wrist her wand is in, stopping all of her movement immediately.

"Huh?" She turns around and sees Faye standing right before her.

"You…you're that maid I summoned yesterday!"

"I don't recall ever telling you I'm a maid." She replies with a hint of coldness.

"Considering your and Siesta's clothing are pretty similar, what other conclusion should I have come up with?" Aside from some pattern and stylistic differences, Siesta and Faye's clothing are basically the same.

"I don't know. You are correct regardless."

"Why did you stop me? I was about to punish this dog!"

"I was called a dog again…" Saito mumbles sadly. Even if he cares about Louise a lot, he still doesn't like being compared to or called a dog.

"Master's orders." She flatly replies.

Her face starts to show a more agitated look, but she shakes her head and looks around and sees that Anthony is here as well.

"It looks like you two are back, I presume you are both ready to become my familiars? I must say, I appreciate sparing me the effort of searching for you, but you two will be punished for this disobedience."

"No. If you dare attempt to finish the ritual then I swear me and Faye will run far, FAR away from here and we will never come back." Anthony threatens.

"You dare talk back at me when it was I who summoned you?! Know your place!" She brings out her wand again.

"Enough!" Agnes shouts.

"Huh?" Louise looks in her direction.

"Saito and I talked with them last night and in exchange for them coming with us to Tristain, they are not to become your familiars."

"I…I see. Fine then."

"You agreed quicker than I thought you would." Anthony says.

"I mean, if I let you go again, then who knows what you two will do out there. Besides, if you two get into any trouble, then the responsibility will be on me. So expect me to keep a close eye on you!"

Likewise. Faye thinks.

"Um…" Siesta's quiet voice gets the attention of everyone. "I know you two were summoned by miss Louise, but I don't believe I've caught your names."

Anthony's eyes widen a little upon seeing her. He had somehow completely missed her presence until now. This is Siesta huh? I'll admit I liked her for quite a long while, since she was one of the only people who was genuinely sweet to Saito. However, once she started gaining feelings for Saito. Her behaviors and motivations started to become a little more…twisted. Like, she was willing to get Louise roused up by comparing chest sizes and being clingy with Saito, which would result in either the latter or occasionally both of them getting hurt. Then she'd sometimes comfort Saito. Like, seriously, you should know not to rouse her up otherwise Saito and sometimes even you will get hurt! Do you do it on purpose or something? I don't know.

"Oh! I'm Anthony. Nice to meet you. What's your name?"

"I'm Faye."

"My name is Siesta. A pleasure to meet you as well!" She smiles brightly.

Her maid outfit brings out a bit of interest from Faye, "What exactly is your occupation?"

"I work as a maid for Tristain Magic Academy. From your appearance you seem to be a maid as well, where did you work in your previous world? A mansion? A magic academy just like me? Oh! Perhaps a castle even!?"

"I serve and protect master here." She gestures to Anthony. "I'm surprised, you don't work for a specific master?"

She shakes her head. "Nope. I'm just a general maid there. I take care of general cleaning and assist with cooking at the academy. Whoever needs me can require my assistance." Although…I wouldn't mind becoming Saito's personal maid…

"I see."

"And I'm Tiffania." She introduces herself from her bed, which is the only one in the entire cabin. The white hat you'd normally see someone at the beach wear is still on her head from the previous night.

Oh, right. They don't know she's an elf yet. Well, they'll figure out pretty soon I'm sure, so I won't interfere. Besides, I don't want them questioning me. Anthony thinks.

"Nice to meet you Tiffania." He says. She really is gorgeous. She's also a void user just like Louise! Unfortunately she doesn't know that yet. If only I could somehow…

"Hello. Nice to meet you." Faye greets.

"Now that introductions are out of the way, are you all prepared to return to Tristain?" Agnes asks. "I need to report everything that happened here to her Highness straight away."

"I didn't get my rune back." Saito says with a sad tone. "However, we were able to find Tiffania, and I'm grateful for that. Thank you for being willing to come with us. However, won't your family be worried?"

"I…I'm living here alone. My mother died a long time ago and…"

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I was senseless. I didn't mean to bring up something painful."

She quickly shakes her hands, "Oh no! It's alright. I'm used to being alone. So it'll be nice to travel with some nice folks like yourselves."

Saito and everyone aside from Faye smile.

Mostly everyone is nice. Anthony can't help but think.

-Tristain Castle-

The journey from the log cabin to Tristain's castle where Henrietta lives was a seamless journey. Nothing attempted to attack them on the way back. However, the ride on the carriage was fairly tight due to the addition of three more people on the return trip compared to the initial setting out. However, they were able to somehow make it work with Saito, Louise, and Siesta squeezed on one side and Anthony, Faye, and Tiffania on the other side. Agnes drove the carriage.

Anthony spent his time looking out the window and gazing upon the scenery. They went through a large forest and due to him having a love of nature, he quite enjoyed looking at all the trees, bushes, and animals that he has never seen before. The beautiful scenery was only made even better by the bright blue sky hanging overhead.

Once they arrived, they were able to get an audience with the queen almost immediately.

Guess it goes to show how close they are to her. Anthony muses as he and the others make their way to one of the private rooms in the castle. He notices just how fancy the furniture and general structure of the castle is. This is by far the most impressive building I've ever been in. Props to the people who built this thing. I bet it was really hard.

They eventually reach the intended room. Before knocking, Agnes makes a statement to everyone, but is mostly intended for the new people joining them.

"We have reached her Highness' private room. Remember to practice proper etiquette before the queen."

Knocking on the door. Henrietta's voice can be heard on the other side. "Enter."

Entering, they all immediately begin to bow except for Faye.

"You all made it back? That's wonderful to see. It even appears there are some new faces among us."

Agnes notices Faye's lack of bowing. "Faye, bow before the queen."

"No. The only person I bow to is master."

"You actually dare to be disrespectful towards Henrie-I mean the queen of Tristain?!" Louise says condescendingly.

"It's alright Louise. I won't punish someone for not bowing. Raise your heads."

They all do so, although Anthony quickly whispers to Faye, "Listen, next time, please bow your head. We might have escaped trouble this time, but we should pay our proper respect to her. She's a good person."

"Understood, if that is what you wish."

"To the new people, I formally welcome you to Tristain. I'm sure you all must be tired from the long journey. My name is Henrietta and I am the queen of this kingdom."

The three newcomers all introduce themselves. When Tiffania introduces herself, the queen says, "It is lovely to meet you Tiffania, however, I can't seem to see your face all too well."

Louise says to her, "It's actually rather rude to wear a hat in front of her Highness."

She jumps a bit, "O-oh! Well, I have a reason for wearing this…however, I'll take it off if that is what is needed."

Tiffania slowly brings her hands to her hat and takes it off. Upon doing so, her long, elven ears are on full display for everyone to see. Louise and Henrietta gasp as Agnes and Siesta seem to be slightly more alert than before.

"You're…an elf? Henrietta is the first to ask.

"You're actually an elf?!" Louise says.

"I'm hideous, aren't I? I'm sorry. It wasn't like I was trying to hide it."

You totally were hiding it. And no, you're beautiful. Anthony thinks.

Hmm, so she is one of these elves that master mentioned before. He didn't have time to tell me anything about them beyond that they can use nature magic. I wonder if she'll be of any help to us.

"No, I think you're quite pretty. You should be proud of how you look." Saito gives her his compliments.

This causes Louise to growl a little at him. Why can't he praise me more often…

Henrietta nods, "I agree, you are beautiful Taffania. You may be an elf, but you don't seem to be a bad person. You saved Saito's life after all. That proves you are no enemy."

Tiffania tears up a little at this. "Thank you…however, I'm actually…a half elf."

"A half elf?" Siesta repeats.

She nods, "Yes. My mother was a full-blood elf. My father was a human. He is the Archduke of Albion."

Henrietta appears to stop moving completely for a few moments until she slightly regains her composure. "Did you say…Archduke of Albion?"

Tiffania becomes nervous at her sudden change in demeanor. "Y-yes."

"That…that is one of my father's brothers! T-that means, all this time, I had a elvish cousin?!"

"W-wait! You're my cousin?!"

Suddenly, Henrietta launches herself at Tiffania and hugs her very tightly.

"To think…to think I actually had family members I didn't even know about! I'm such a horrible person." She begins to cry.

"Henrietta…" Louise slowly says.

"No, no! Please don't cry. I was living by myself in seclusion for a long time. There's no way you would've known."

About half a minute later they separate. Henrietta asks her, "Would it be alright if we talked in private later?"

She smiles, "Of course. I'm sure there is a lot to talk about."

Turning to Anthony and Faye she asks, "What brings you two here?"

Agnes answers this question, "Your Highness, quite a lot has happened during our journey besides recruiting Tiffania. Let us explain what has occurred."

Everyone proceeds to the dining room so that everyone can sit down and discuss. Agnes and the others explain what occurred, between the attack Sheffield brought upon them, to summoning Anthony and Faye.

"Thus, your Highness, Louise has committed the major crime of attempting to summon another familiar when she already has one currently."

"Um, Agnes?" Henrietta says.

"Yes, your Highness?"

"You are aware that Saito is currently not Louise's familiar, correct? He is most definitely still alive, and I'm very grateful to Tiffania for reviving him, but that small moment that he was dead did nullify the contract between them. Thus Louise had every right to attempt to summon a new familiar."

"I was trying to summon Saito, not a new familiar." Louise clarifies.

"I know, but I was saying you had the right regardless of whether you summoned him or not."

Agnes' eyes widen greatly upon realizing her grave error. She bows to Henrietta, "I'm very sorry your Highness! That did not cross my mind whatsoever." She turns to Louise and bows to her as well, "I apologize to you as well Louise. Apparently I somehow thought you two were still master and familiar in some way and hastily presumed you committed a crime."

"It's alright. Don't worry about it." She whispers to herself, "I guess even I still think we're master and familiar…"

"What did you say?" Saito asks her, hearing the whispering but not making out any words. I'm really glad she didn't accidentally perform a crime. I'm sure she felt she had no other choice at that moment.

"N-nothing!" She quickly turns her head away and pouts.

Agnes says, "Even if what she did wasn't a crime, these two were still summoned here due to her ignorance." She looks towards Anthony and Faye.

"It wasn't like I was trying to summon them. I really thought Saito would return to me. I really hoped he would." She frowns and tilts her head down. She appears to be quite upset that she failed to summon him.

Saito replies. "I did come back. It just wasn't in the exact way you were hoping for. If the portal appeared in front of me, I would've jumped in without hesitation. But nothing of the sort came."

"I guess that's true." She admits in a subdued tone.

The queen says, "Still, Louise summoned them to this world and as the queen of Tristain, it is my duty to treat them hospitably."

"Your Highness, I don't want to get in the way of your goodwill towards them, but shouldn't it be Louise's responsibility to care for them?"

Anthony quickly butts in before she can reply to that. "Your Highness, I would be very grateful if you took me and Faye in for the meantime. Right Faye?"

She nods, "Of course."

"Now wait just a moment!" Louise shouts, "Agnes is right, I should be the one to care for you both! I already take care of Saito, adding two more shouldn't be too big of a deal."

"No." He swiftly shuts down her suggestion.

"Why?"

"Why you ask? What reason do I have to trust that you'll take good care of me? Especially after you called me and Faye dogs and I've already seen you try to beat up Saito once this morning. You were close to attacking me then too!"

"You better be grateful Agnes stopped you when she did, otherwise I would've been the one to stop you." Faye says with mostly indifference but also with a hint of disparagingness in her speech.

"She's pretty rough sometimes, I'll admit, but at her core she is a good person. I want you two to believe that. I think if you got to know her better you two could become good friends with her." Saito says.

Hah, if she did a 180 in her personality, maybe. Until then, nope. Anthony derogatorily thinks. Still, aside from her, I think I can likely get along with the others. Agnes seems to be a lot more level-headed and unbiased than I initially gave her credit for. Henrietta is really kind too.

Anyone who attempts to attack master is an enemy of mine. You're way too optimistic Saito. Faye thinks.

"That's because you two were out of line! I'm your master, you're my familiar. There should be no argument about that. If you remember that and behave appropriately, I will treat you well."

"I will never acknowledge you as my master. I don't know why you keep insisting this. Even if we were to complete the ritual, I would still not acknowledge you as my master."

For the first time since the meeting started, Siesta speaks up, "Do you mind if I ask why you're so devoted to him? I'm not sure I've ever seen someone as devoted as you to somebody."

"He saved my life once when I was doing something very stupid and he was gravely injured." She smiles at the memory of that day. "He saved me despite the great pain he was in that day. He earned my complete respect and loyalty."

"Oh! I see. That's wonderful. That really is a noble thing to do Anthony. I wish I could save someone's life like you."

"You can." Anthony replies.

"Hm? What do you mean?"

He realizes what he just said. I can't explain it to her now! If I say Louise is an evil person, especially to Saito and Henrietta, they may seriously do something awful to me!

Thinking on the fly, he comes up with this as his answer, "I-I mean like if you go out travelling and you see a sick person on the side of the road or something. If you take them with you and tend to their illness, then you'd be saving a life."

Siesta smiles, "I see, I suppose you are right about that. Thank you, I'll think about what you've said."

Phew! She's satisfied with that answer thankfully. He thinks, grateful.

Henrietta then says, "Well, if they are that against staying with Louise, then I will respect their decision. I'll allow them to stay in the castle for a few days." Turning to them, she asks, "Do you two have any plans you wish to fulfill?"

Anthony answers, "Yes, we'd like to find a way to return home. Agnes mentioned that if we came here she'd tell us the way to do so."

"Ah yes, I did say that didn't I. Well, a promise is a promise." She proceeds to explain exactly what Anthony was expecting to hear. The way to return home is via traveling towards the two moons during a solar eclipse.

"I actually tried that once using a plane I found." Saito says. "I ultimately decided against it, but I'm pretty sure it would've worked if I decided to go through with it."

"Do you still have that plane you used to attempt to leave?" Anthony asks.

He shakes his head. "No, it got destroyed in a fight with a flying knight from Albion. Sorry."

He faceplants his face into the table, "Then how're we supposed to leave?"

Saito makes a thinking expression for a moment before replying, "Perhaps Tabitha could help. She has a dragon familiar and can use wind magic!"

"Wind magic could certainly help, presuming she is able to create strong enough winds to carry people." Faye says.

"Of course! Why didn't I think of that!" Anthony says excitedly after pulling up his head in a swift manner.

"Um, how would you? You haven't met her."

"Oh true. Haha. How foolish of me."

"I doubt that would work." Louise says.

"Why not? I've seen her dragon carry her high into the sky numerous times." Saito says

"Even if they successfully escape with her dragon familiar, wouldn't they be taking the dragon with them? There's no way she'd part with her beloved familiar."

This causes everyone to fall into silence.

Eventually, Tiffania speaks up, "Well, it's not like we need to find a solution right away. We should come back to this topic later."

Henrietta nods, "Fair point. We have a few days to figure all of this out. In the meantime, there is one more thing I'd like to talk about." She turns her head towards Saito.

"Saito, even though your rune is still gone, would you still consider becoming a chevalier? I believe you're still very valuable even without the rune's power."

He frowns, "Um…I…"

"It's a great honor to be given the opportunity to become a chevalier. Especially since this is the second time she's offering you it!" Louise says. "You should accept it already."

"But I…I don't deserve it. I can't protect anyone in my current state."

"You fought against those fenrirs in the forest pretty well. Sure, practice is always going to help you get stronger, but as you are now, I believe you can fight and defend well. At least, you're way better at it than me." Anthony laughs a little at himself.

"You did fight decently well for a dog without his rune. I'll give you that much at least." Louise admits.

"Can you stop calling him a dog already?" Anthony sighs.

"He's my familiar and you have no right to stop me from calling him however I like!" She yells at him.

"I think Saito should become a chevalier. He's done a lot for everyone up to this point." Siesta suggests.

"What is a chevalier?." Tiffania asks.

"Someone who becomes her Highness' personal knight. It is a huge honor to become one." Agnes explains.

Saito, seeing all of this support, sighs and smiles. "Oh geeze. You guys just aren't going to let me go like that huh? Alright then. I accept the title of chevalier."

Everyone except for Faye smile at this. Henrietta says, "I'm very happy that you decided to accept this time. We'll hold an official ceremony for this in two days. So please prepare before then. Now, are there any final questions or concerns that need to be addressed?"

Agnes says "Since Tiffania is an half-elf, and thus contains elf blood within her, am I right to presume that she can use magic?"

Tiffania suddenly gets a rush of memories from her childhood flashing before her eyes. She remembers hiding away in a closet while her family members appeared to be fighting humans.

"I…I can't say." She uneasily says.

"Please? It's really important." Henrietta insists.

"I'm sorry!" She suddenly gets up and rushes out of the room.

"Tiffania!" Saito calls out to her, but she ignores him.

Derflinger says to Saito, "Let her be for now. In times like these it's best to let them calm down alone."

The meeting concludes shortly afterwards. Henrietta provides everyone their own private rooms within the castle while they stay. Saito and Louise stay together in one room while Anthony and Faye also share a room since the latter insists on staying with the former. Siesta and Tiffania get their rooms to themselves.

Later That Night

Since Henrietta and the others were busy with various things in the afternoon, Anthony and Faye spend most of the rest of the afternoon brainstorming various ways of flying towards the moon.

The plane is obviously not an option since it is destroyed, and Anthony doesn't have the slightest clue of how to repair machines like that. Tabitha's dragon is also not an option considering how precious she is to her.

"I think what remains of the Albion kingdom has dragon knights in their army. Though I have no idea of their dragons can go far enough to travel back to our world. Plus, the dragon would likely transport with us, which would lead to a lot of problems back in our old world…"

"Your right master. Unfortunately, I have been unable to come up with any sort of solution to our problem. There is no simple way to travel by air."

He sighs loudly, "Man, I thought this option would be our best bet to getting out of here, but now that I'm thinking about it it seems more and more impossible to pull off. Do we really need Louise to get out of here?"

"I don't know for sure, but I personally hope we do not. She is a very bratty pinkhead if I've ever seen one. She was even going to attack you this morning. I cannot ignore such outrageous behavior like that."

All of a sudden, he comes up behind her and hugs her. "Thanks for looking out for me as always."

She doesn't turn her head around to face him, but she does smile warmly and reply, "Of course. It's my duty and desire to assist and protect you."

"Perhaps an answer will come to us in the coming days. I only watched the anime so I'm sure there are many things I do not know about this world."

"We will find a solution, I'm sure of it." She reassures him.

At this moment, there is a knock on their door.

"Who is it?" Anthony asks.

The door opens and they realize it is Henrietta who is entering.

Oh my gosh! The queen is visiting us privately?! I've only ever dreamed of getting the privilege to meet with royalty privately! Anthony thinks excitedly.

"Good evening you two." She smiles. "Are you busy?"

They shake their heads. Anthony says, "No, but I must admit I'm really surprised you decided to come visit us tonight."

"Well, I wanted to check in with you both to see how you were adapting here. I'm aware you both just transferred here and I'm sure you still have a lot of unresolved questions and concerns. I likewise have some questions I'd like to ask of you if that is alright."

Faye looks to Anthony. After a moment he slowly nods, "Sure, that's fine with me your Highness."

Meanwhile, at the same time on one of the balconies in the castle, Tiffania is playing a song related to Gandalfr on her lyre. She has been spending some time alone up here ever since running away from the meeting.

Saito, who was having trouble sleeping, overhears the music she is playing and decides to check it out. Seeing her on a balcony, he says, "That's a strange song."

She sees him as well and replies, "Oh, I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"

"It's alright, I wasn't really able to sleep anyway." He walks closer to her and sits down next to her.

"So, Tiffania." Saito starts, "I know a lot has happened today and I'm truly sorry for dragging you into something troublesome like this."

"No, it's alright. It's not your fault. I've been living alone for the last four years in that cabin, so I've been wanting to get out into the world and meet new people. Honestly, I thought I'd be living alone forever. So this is a nice change of pace."

"I see."

"But I'm scared. I'm scared because there is just so much I don't know about this world. I don't know how to behave or what I should do." After a long pause, she admits this to Saito, "Truthfully, I can use magic."

"Woah, really?"

She nods, "I found out when my mother passed away and I was about to be taken by the military."

Saito gasps, "Oh! So that's why you ran out on us earlier. I'm sorry that we tried to bring up something painful from your past."

She smiles at his kindness, "Even if it is painful to bring up, I'm glad I'm able to share this with you Saito. I got this magic from my mother. I haven't really ever used it so I don't know if it's good or bad."

"It can't be something bad."

She looks at him quizzically, "How do you know?"

"I mean, there must be a reason you were born a half-elf and inherited your mother's magic. Just like there was a reason for me to come here from another world, which is to protect Louise."

She looks at him surprised, "You came from another world? Wow."

"Yeah, that's why I can understand how you feel. If you ever need any help, you're free to come to me."

She smiles a little more brightly at him. She also grabs his right hand with both of hers and clasps it, "Thank you Saito. I'm glad I was able to become your friend."

This intimacy instantly reminds Saito that if Louise saw them right now, he'd be beaten nearly half to death. Thus he quickly separates from her, "Y-yeah! Me too Tiffania! Well, I better go back to bed so goodnight!" He quickly exits the balcony and runs down the hall back to his and Louise's room.

"Oh ok…goodnight." She says confused as to why he ran away so quickly.

-Kingdom of Gallia-

"I'm back my lord." Sheffield announces to her master, Joseph, as she enters his private room in the castle. Joseph is the current ruler of Gallia.

"Welcome back my dear Sheffield." He greets her with a pleasant smile. "Were you able to find the other void mage?"

She shakes her head, "It was extremely unfortunate, but I was unable to locate the other void mage. However, I did find out something else that might pique your interest."

He raises an eyebrow, "Hm?"

"That pink-haired short mage attempted to resummon her original familiar despite it being common knowledge that it is impossible to do so. When she did the spell, she got not one, but two familiars at once. Something of the sort has never been observed before."

He strokes his blue-haired beard, "Interesting. Will this hinder our plans?"

She shows a cruel smile towards her master. "No my lord. Since those two just entered the world for the first time, I highly doubt they'll be capable of performing any real combat, even with their ruins to assist them."

"I see. Well, continue to observe them a little while longer. Soon Tristain will be up in a fiery glory regardless of what they attempt." Maybe with this, I will finally be able to feel some emotion within my cold, dead heart.

"Yes my lord. It all shall be as you desire." In a flash, she exits the room.

-Author's Corner-

A/N: As of now there is a mixture of both canonical and original events. The canonical events will slowly be phased out as Anthony and Faye continue to impact the lives around them.

The Disquieting One: Ah yeah that is true, flintlocks do exist in the Familiar of Zero world. I agree that trying to have Anthony industrialize the world would be too complicated. It'd require a lot of research into various technology that I'm not really interested in. Besides, I've read some Isekai's that have bringing modern technology into the world as a major plot point and these tend to be hit or miss for me. Overall, I have no plans to go that route. As for the foreshadowing, I don't know if this will count as a spoiler or not but I didn't intend it to be that way when I wrote it. As for whether I'll actually do something like that or not, we'll just have to wait and see (don't expect it to happen though).

Frequent Reader: Glad to see you checking out this story as well! Yep, they were taken from the Love Hina world. However, I don't really plan on mentioning that world as I want to keep this story readable on its own without relying on events that occurred in their previous world. I understand you don't want to watch the show and honestly after seeing most of it myself I wouldn't recommend watching it. The first season is surprisingly alright (aside from Louise's abuse to Saito) but it just goes downhill from there. We'll see what Louise goes through here.
