8. First Time
"Stop laughing at him."
"I can't help it! Look at him! He looks ridiculous."
"You do know that I read your file when you became part of my squad, right?"
"That's standard procedure, right? Squad Leaders and Captains are required to read their new subordinates files regardless of them being newly discovered Titan Shifters or not."
Levi arched an eyebrow.
Eren flushed in embarrassment as he realized what his former Captain was hinting at that would have definitely been put in his file.
"That's what I thought."
"In my defense, for the record, my harness was faulty. In fact, you were there when Shadis admitted that he'd sabotaged me! And even with a faulty harness, I could still stay upright for a few seconds! Luka has no excuse and has not managed any such feat."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night, Eren. Also, stop competing with a kid. It's ridiculous that you're jealous of him."
"I'll try. But if he starts wearing cravats or does his hair in an undercut, I'm shaving his head."
Levi, recalling Oulo's failed attempts to mimic him, grimaced. "Deal."
He also smiled when, after Luka managed to stay upright for the exercise for the first time, Eren treated the kid to donuts.
