Jay's POV: it's been a couple weeks since miss Camryn started crawling for the first time which is crazy. Ever since she she called for the first time she has been crawling all over the house. She is definitely keeping us on our toes. A couple weeks ago I invited Kevin and Vanessa over to help me baby proof the house, while they were here Vanessa asked Erin to be her matron of honor and asked us if Camryn can be their flower girl for the wedding. And then Kevin asked me to best man which we all accepted. Right now it's a couple days until mine and Erin's first year anniversary. I still can't believe I've been married to the love of my life for a whole year it seems longer than that. She is the best thing that ever happened with me: right now me and Camryn or at the store grabbing a few things for the house
J= hey baby girl what do you think mommy would like for an anniversary gift ( baby noise) if only you can talk but it's OK I will figure this out by myself
About 30 minutes I do I figure out what to get her in grab everything else we need for home. Before we get home I make a couple of pitstops. We arrive home within 30 minutes
J= hey babe we are home
E= hey there are my favorite two people how was shopping at Daddy
J= it was so much fun right Camryn
E= I bet it was
J= so how was it hanging out with the girls today
VR= it was fun Vanessa found her dress so you don't have to spend another day without me
J= well that's good to hear
E= so you guys got home just in time
J= oh we did what for
E= well dinner is done
J= oh it is what are we having
E= I just made something simple which is spaghetti
J= well that's Camryn favorite food
E= and her mommy's favorite food also
J= well let's eat
We eat her dinner as I tell Erin how shopping with an almost 9-month-old went well she tells me how wedding dress shopping went with the girls
J= so did everyone find their dresses
E= yes I even found a miss Camryn her flower girl dress
J= well that's amazing I guess ever since she asked you to be her matron of honor you guys have gotten a lot of things done for the wedding
E= yes we have
J= so guess what is coming up in a few days
E= let's see what's coming up in a few days oh I know we have a Saturday off
J= well that's true but that's not what I'm hinting at any more guesses
E= let's see oh how I know it's my favorite day of the year besides when Camryn was was born
J= Oh it is so what makes that day so special
E= well since day ( moves closer to jay ) that I married my best friend ( kiss)
J= couldn't agree more so since it's coming up what would you like to do for our anniversary
And would you like anything for it
E= I don't care what we do as long as I am with my two favorite people into what I want is really nothing but I kind of want miss Camryn two say her first word which I hope it is mama
J= I would love for her to say her first word to but I bet she will say daddy first
E= no way she loves me more
J= whatever you say
E= I will be the one who's right here soon
J= we will see so you don't want to do anything for a first anniversary
E= not really why do you ask do you have something planned already
J= well I might have something planned but if you want to stay and I can totally do that too
E= wait what do you have planned I might change my mind after all
J= so my idea is we can have a whole day to yourself and then maybe go to the purple pig for dinner and just come home and play scrabble all over this house
E= wow that's a great idea
J= so what plan do you want to do for our anniversary
E= I want to do your plan this year and next year we could do mine idea
J= sounds good to me
E= so what are we going to do with this little girl while we have a whole day alone
J= well my brother is taking her for the whole day so she could have a play date with her cousins and then when Will and Natalie goes to work they will drop her off with Hank for the night
E= wow so you got this all figured out then
J= oh yes I do
For the rest the night we watch movies in touch trying to get Camryn A bath we both give her a bath tonight and then lay her down to go to sleep. Then we watch one more movie together head off to bed place you on the Scrabble and then will soon follow sleep in each others arms
Erin's POV: I can't believe Camryn is crawling now and she is an expert at it now. She now is always on the go and keeping us on our toes. It's been a couple weeks since Vanessa asked all of us to be part of her wedding party and we all coarse said yes. And ever since then me and her have been getting A lot of things done something for her wedding. To me it's crazy I am doing something for someone else's wedding in yet this time last year I was getting ready to marry the man of my dreams. Still still can't believe me and Jay have been married for almost a year seems longer than that. The other day Jay told me he plans to leave our anniversary and I loved it. Right now it's the day of her anniversary and I am slowly waking up with jay staring at me
E= now mister didn't your mother ever teaching it's rude to stare at someone
J= oh she did but if only she knew how beautiful my wife is she would be totally okay with me staring at her all the time
E= oh really she would say that
J= totally but anyways good morning and happy anniversary ( kiss her)
E= well good morning to you and happy anniversary babe
J= can you believe it's been a whole year already
E= I can't believe it either it seems like it's been two years I have been married to you not just one
J= I hope that's a good thing
E= yes it is the best year of my life
J= couldn't agree more I can't wait to see what the future holds for us as a family
E= me too so is our daughter still asleep but she awake
J= haven't heard anything so my guess is she still sound asleep why do you ask
E= well maybe since she is asleep we can play a little scrabble before she wakes up either here in the bed or in the shower
J= I like the way you think Mrs. halstead . I would say the shower sounds perfect since we both kind of stink
E= oh really you are so funny ( hits him with a pillow)
J= now you are going to get it
Jay carries me to the shower and we enjoy the long steamy game of Scrabble in the shower. We stay in there until the water turns cold in when we get out we get dressed in the same PJs and just lay in bed until we hear Camryn
E= well that's one way to wake up and start today
J= oh yeah wouldn't want to start my anniversary any other way
E= couldn't agree more maybe we should play scrabble first thing every anniversary
J= I like that idea we totally should do that every year
E= ( hears Camryn) I guess our daughter wants to join us finally
J= oh yeah I will go get her this time
E= actually I want to go get her
J= how about we go get her together
E= all right let's go before she gets mad at us for taking so long
J= good idea let's go
( in Camryn's room)
E= good morning what are you doing there Miss
J= are you supposed to be standing up in your crib Miss Camryn Nicole halstead
E= I don't think so but that's another milestone you just hit
J= are you ready to get up baby girl
E= ( starts jumping) I think so come here baby girl ( picks her up)
CN= momma
E= did you hear that
J= yes I did say it again baby girl
CN= momma
E= I can't believe she said mama I might cry this is already the best day ever
J= I guess you were right that she would say mama first
E= wait I was what ?
J= you were right I am only saying that again because it's our anniversary
E= I am just happy she finally said mama and I love it more because she said mama before she said daddy
J= yeah maybe in a few days she'll finally say daddy
E= I kind a hope not so what time is Will coming to pick her up
J= he said he will be here by 10 AM to get the princess
E= that that gives us some time to spend with her before it's our alone time
We end up making some eggs and French toast for breakfast after breakfast me and Jay just hang out on the floor with Camryn until Will shows up ( knocking at the door )
J= that must be will I'll go get it
E= are you ready to hang out with uncle Will and Natalie and your cousins Owen and Charlotte I bet you will have so much fun
WH= uncle will is here to kidnap my favorite little niece
J= two things one don't joke about kidnapping her and two she's your only niece
WH= all right I won't so where is my niece at I miss her so much
J= she is inside with Erin come In ( Will walks in)
WH= all right hey Erin
E= hey will thanks again for watching our little nugget today
WH= it's no problem besides me and Natalie wanted to spend some time with our niece since we haven't seen her in forever
J= yeah we all work crazy hours it sucks but it's understandable
E= so how are Owen and Charlotte
WH= Owen is doing great he's getting ready to turn four years old and he is super smart
J= Man he is so grown up
WH= yeah and Miss Charlotte is getting ready to be six months old and the other day she started eating solid foods
E= wow that's amazing
J= my advice on starting solids is be prepared to have your child throw up on you and have back up shirts just in case
E= also be prepared to give her a bath after every meal she eats
WH= that's some great advice I will remember when we give her some food next time
J= let me guess you already have been thrown up on
WH= oh yeah it's Natalie's fault she said her butternut squash and carrots as her first food
J= that's what I said when Camryn threw up on me it was Erin's fault for giving her gross food
WH= yeah well me and Camryn are going to head out to meet up with Natalie and the kids
E= all right let me go grab her diaper bag ( she leaves )
J= thanks again for watching her today
WH= it's no problem is Hank fine with us dropping her off around seven
J= yeah he's fine with that it works perfect because that's her bedtime
WH= that's good

J= maybe here shortly we will watch Owen and Charlotte for you one day so you guys can have your alone time too
WH= that's a deal all before I go me and Natalie got you guys something for your anniversary
E= Will you guys didn't have to get us anything just taking her for the day is enough to count in the gift
WH= I know but we still got you something so here you go ( hands it over to jay )
E= Open it up to see what it is
J= all right I will ( he does) it's a gift card for an ice cream place also a gift certificate for a couples massage
E= well two of our favorite things ice cream and a couples massage great gift
J= thanks will we will definitely use these
WH= all right say bye-bye to mommy and daddy we got to go
E= bye baby girl we will see you in the morning
J= have fun with your cousins
E= oh before you go well just to warn you Camryn can now say momma now
WH= wow that's great to hear guys see you later
J= bye have fun
Once Will left with Camryn me and Jay got dressed for the day as we were getting dressed we decided to use the couples massage today so we headed to the place two hours later we felt more relax so we went shopping together and just spend some quality time together. Archery done everything here we finally Head to the purple pig to eat some food
E= I am starving I might get one of everything
J= that is totally fine I will get you whatever you want
E= have I told you lately that you are the best husband ever
J= not lately but I love hearing it
E= well you are
The waiter comes and takes our order after he leaves we just stare at each other
J= did I ever tell you how beautiful you are
E= not in a while but thank you
J= so I got you something for our anniversary
E= jay I said I don't need anything
J= I know but I still got something something so here you go babe and happy anniversary ( hands it over)
E= why thank you ( opens it ) Jay Alexander this is beyond gorgeous
J= so you love it
E= yes I do love it ( leans over and kisses him)
J= I got it so I can go with you're what are your wedding ring so you can have it all in one finger
E= ( puts it on) it fits perfectly but why is the Diamond green
J= well it's the color of August so you always can remember and if you look inside I engraved something on it for you
E= oh yeah ( she looks) "August 4, 2019 One year down and forever to go always in my heart love Jay " you are going to make me cry that statement was so perfect
J= I am glad you love what I've put on it
E= J why do you always make me feel so special

E= I want to eat and then get home so I can show you how much I love you
J= oh I can't wait
The waiter finally wins our food out and within 45 minutes we eat it all once Jay paid the bill we head home . We arrived home within 20 minutes we started making out before I can even open the door
E= Jay I am trying to open the door
J= i'm sorry if I think my wife is hot
E= there I finally got it open
J= good now where was I ( picks Erin up and carry's her to the counter top)
E= wait a second.
J= why are you stopping me
E= well I got to tell you something

E= well I might've gotten you something

E= well you have to undress me to see your gift
J= oh really I love that kind of gift
E= well then you better undress me to finally see your gift
Jay loved his anniversary gift I got him once he Saw it he took it off me and we went a couple rounds of Scrabble in bed soon we ate our leftovers and then had ice cream. Then we tried a couple different places that play scrabble like the counters in the kitchen the kitchen floor and our favorite spot which is the couch. We ended up back in her bed and fell asleep with having huge smiles on because we just had the best anniversary ever
