Erin's POV: it's been a couple weeks since me and jay helped Kevin and Vanessa get married when they told everyone a few days later everyone they were all happy beside Adam for two reason one Is he wasn't invited to the wedding and two he wasn't Kevin's best man but after a few days he got over it and was just happy that Kevin was happy. It's also been a couple weeks since our daughter surprised us all at the wedding by taking her first steps which was so special to see. Ever since then she has became a master walker we are always chasing her around. Over the last couple weeks me and jay finalized the details for Camryn's first birthday and hank agreed to let us have the party at his house which is in a few days which is so crazy. right now everyone is hanging out in the bullpen just waiting for a new case to come up 15 minutes later

HV= hey can I have everyone's attention
AR= sure what's up boss
HV= so I just got word from head quarters that we are up for teaser recertification
KA= no boss not again
HV= sorry Kevin we are up for it again and the bosses are telling me to do it
VR= wait what is this
KA= never never got this at you old unit
HU= I didn't either
AR= well I guess you guys will know how it feels very soon
J= But I Vanessa and Haley my tip is never tasered your man or get yourself in the gut it hurts like hell
VR= let me guess that's where you all got tased last time
KA= oh yeah it hurt very badly for a day straight
HU= May I ask who teased who
AD= mostly everyone got tased by the instructor but Jay by Erin
VR= wow such a lucky guy
AR= hey at least he got a warning before he got tased
HU= what do you mean Adam
KA= well your boy adam didn't want to Pay attention to the instructions from the instructor so the instructor decided only way to get him to fully pay attention is teased him without warning
VR= aww poor Adam
E= he was getting close to getting tased a second time before the guy left because he kind of wasn't paying attention again
J= Erin didn't want to be teased at all that day
E= what I thought we seen enough when all of
you boys got teased you didn't need a female to get tased to show you how bad it was
J= but nope everyone had to be tased and I got my payback so I tasted Erin
VR= please tell me you tasted her in a different spot than where she tasted you
E= he did he teased me in my shoulder
HU= well that's nice of him
TG= so who's ready to get tased again
AR= definitely not me
KA= boss are you going to join us this time
HV= nope me and Alvin are going to catch up on some paperwork in my office
HU= wait he didn't get tased last time either
AR= no he didn't Lucky him
TG= so I will do something different this time around I want you all to partner up with someone else and they will be the one that teased you for today
AR= so Kevin do you want to be my buddy
KA= nope sorry I'm sticking with my wife today
VR= sorry Adam
AR= it's no big deal I bet Haley would be happy to be my buddy today
HU= actually Adam I was thinking maybe me and Kim could be buddies today
AR= no way you are choosing Kim over me
HU= oh yeah she is better looking anyways
AR= well my feelings are hurt
KB= you'll get over it
HU= ( both laughs) we are just joking with you Adam I will be your buddy always
AR= you guys are funny you know that
KB= oh we know that
TG= so does everyone have a buddy
E= yes we do
TG= all right who wants to go first
AD= we will go first
KB= be easy on me Antonio
AD= I will if you do the same
KB= fine I will ( teased her in the shoulder)
AD= are you fine Kim
KB= yeah I'm fine I actually wasn't too bad now it's your turn ( teased him In the gut)
AD= ( Talks in pain) Kim I thought we were going to be nice to each other
KB= sorry about that Antonio but I change my mind
AD= it's no problem you will owe me a beer later
TG= so who's next
J= we are but please be nice to me this time around babe
E= how about I get taste first and then I saw it on how easy I will be on you based on how easy you were on me
J= all right I will be easy ( tased her in the shoulder) see I was easy
E= yes you were now it's my turn
J= come on please be easy on me
E= I might ( she goes toward the shoulder but then changes her mind and teases him in the gut)
AR= Way to go Erin
J= damn Erin you said you would go easy on me
E= I know but I change my mind
J= you are so mean to me
E= I know I am ( whispers in his ear) " we can play scrabble later to make it up to you" how does that sound
J= I love that idea
E= I figured you would

The rest of the team got tased, Vanessa and Kevin go easy on each other well Adam goes easy on Haley but she doesn't and does the same thing that I did to jay. The rest of the day we just relaxed and recovered from getting tased later that night I made it up to Jay with a few rounds of scrabble.

Jay's POV: it's been a couple weeks since Kevin and Vanessa got married and even though it was just us and them it was a great wedding and awesome is where our daughter took her first steps which is amazing but now we have to keep our eye on her. We got everything ready for her birthday party which is in a few days which is crazy that she will be turning one. A couple days ago Hank surprised us with teaser recertification again. It was fun the air and once again taste me where I didn't want to be taste even though we promise to be easy on each other. But she made it up for me later that night. Right now it's a morning of Camryn's first birthday party I woke up before Erin so I just stare at her while she is sleeping so peacefully about 30 minutes later she starts to wake up

J= good morning sunshine
E= well good morning Mr. creeper
J= what all I am doing is looking at my beautiful wife sleep
E= see you just prove my point
J= i'm glad I'm a creeper when it comes to looking at my wife
E= J you are just the best you know that ( they kiss)
J= yes I know that can you believe that we now have a one-year-old
E= no I can't where has time gone
J= Who knows but I think it needs to slow down
E= that is for sure
J= do you remember how this day was like last year at this time
E= oh yeah I was almost a week overdue and I just wanted her out already
J= she was being very stubborn like her mother
E= i'm not stubborn
J= whatever you say
E= so how long have you been up by the way
J= only for about 20 - 30 minutes
E= that's good has the birthday girl woken up yet
J= no she hasn't maybe she is getting in her birthday sleeps in
E= yeah maybe but that just means I get to spend more time in bed with my wonderful husband
J= that's a very good point so let's enjoy our peace and quiet when while we can
E= let's do it ( 5 minutes later hears Camryn) well I guess that didn't last long
J= no it didn't I will go get her
E= wait Jay let us both get her since it's her first birthday
J= all right let's go

( in Camryn's room)

Both= happy birthday baby girl
CN= momma daddy
E= baby girl you are one
J= that's so crazy
E= you need to stop growing
J= yes you do ( smells stinky diaper) and I guess you need one of us to change you
E= I think whoever smelt it has to deal with it
J= all right I will go change her
E= well while you do that I will go make us some breakfast
J= please don't burn the house down
E= Jay I won't burn the house down
J= I know but try and cook something easy
E= if I was you are a go change her before it start stinking worse

I go and change Camryn while Aaron goes and makes a easy breakfast for us about 20 minutes later the food was done

J= in the birthday girl is all fresh and clean now
E= well that's good and you guys made perfect timing because the food is done now
J= that's good so what did you make us
E= I just made eggs and pancakes
J= that's good and smells amazing in here
E= why thank you let's eat

We eat her breakfast which wasn't that bad and we were able to eat within 15 minutes

J= that breakfast wasn't bad
E= it wasn't bad so does it mean you like it
J= yes I did you didn't do too bad babe
E= see I can cook without burning things
J= yeah whatever you say so what time should we head to Hanks
E= well the party isn't until 4 PM so we should get there around 1:30 so we can start setting up for the party
J= that works it gives us plenty of time to spend with our birthday girl before everyone else wants to hold her and be all over her

We play with Camryn for a few hours before we decide to lay her down for her nap, once she is asleep me and Erin cleaned up the house once the house was cleaned we each took turns taking a shower we got dress and ready. When we got done getting dressed Camryn was still sleep so we wrapped the last few presents that we still need to wrap. And then grab the things we needed for the party by time we got everything together for the party Camryn wakes up from her nap.

E= I guess we got everything done just in time
J= oh yeah well she took an extra long nap today
E= well she needs it since she will be playing with everyone for the next few hours
J= oh yeah how about I go and take everything to the car while you get the birthday girl up and dressed and ready to go
E= all right that works for me see you in a few minutes

Erin goes and gets the birthday girl up from her nap and also get her ready for the party well I love the car with with the stuff we need to bring over to the party. I was able to love the car up within 15 minutes just in time for Erin and Camryn to be done

J= there is the birthday girl how did she sleep
E= I think she slept pretty good since she had major bed head when I got her up from nap
J= well that's good to know so Camryn are you ready to go and see grandpa hank
CN= grandpa
E= did you hear that
J= yes I did she said grandpa for the first time
E= I bet you grandpa Hank will love to hear you say that let's go see him. Is everything in the car
J= oh yeah how about I go lock up will you put her in the car seat
E= that works for me

I go lock up the house and grab anything else we need and then I get back to the car to see the Erin is actually in the passenger seat for once

J= hey babe I am surprised you aren't in the driver seat right now
E= well I thought maybe you would like to drive for once since it's been a while since the last time you drove
J= of course I would your angel
E= I know I am but let's go we have a lot of things to do before everyone shows up

We drive to Hanks and arrive within 15 minutes Erin grabs Camryn out while I grab the other things

HV= there is the birthday girl
E= hey Hank thanks again for letting us have her first birthday at your house
HV= it's no big deal I will do anything for you guys
E= I know you will hank
J= hey babe tell Hank what Camryn just did before we left
HV= what did she do
E= well when we were getting ready to come here we asked if she was ready to see you and she said grandpa
HV= no way that's cool do you think she can say it again
E= hopefully let's see ( to Camryn) hey Camryn Who is this ( points to hank )
CN= grandpa
HV= yes Camryn I am your grandpa
E= you are so smart baby girl
HV= why don't you guys come in ( they do )
E= all right hey Hank how about you watch her while me and Jay get everything set up
HV= all right ( grabs Camryn from Erin's arms ) I can do that has she eaten anything today
J= she had pancakes and eggs this morning but she hasn't eaten since then
HV= all right I will get her some food while you guys do the set up
E= all right thanks hank

Erin and I go and start setting everything up for the party while Hank keeps Camryn occupied and give her some food we were able to get everything set up for the party with them in an hour, so the rest the time we hung out with Hank before the party got started

HV= wow you got that stuff done pretty fast you too
J= well what's that statement about teamwork makes the dream work
E= I guess it does
HV= you guys can get anything done as long as you work together that is even at work you guys work best as a team
J= thanks hank
E= yeah thanks that means a lot
HV= I still can't believe this little girl is one
J= I know we can't believe it either
E= it seem like yesterday she smiled for the first time now she is saying all kinds of words
HV= oh really what is she all saying
J= she said mama first which sucked
E= he thought she would say dada first
HV= like everyone else
J= she then finally said dada A couple weeks later
E= which finally made jay happy
J= then when Vanessa and Kevin got married she said Kev
HV wow that's cool
E= The only other words she has said was hello bye-bye and her favorite word right now is no
HV= of course it is
J= but she knows how to get her way though
HV= sounds just like her mother it always has to be her way
E= no it doesn't
J= whatever you say babe
HV= so since she is one when are you guys going to give me another grand child
E= I don't know Hank
J= we are still thinking about it
HV= so you guys do you want another
E= yes we do but we want to wait a little bit so we can spend some more time with her
HV= that makes sense let me guess you guys hope you have a boy next
J= oh yeah but as long as we have a healthy baby that's all that matters
HV= that is all that matters

We catch up for another hour and then all the guest start showing up

WH= hey Jay hey Erin where is the birthday girl at
J= she is hanging out with Hank
WH= all right that's cool
E= hey Natalie and will and hello to little Charlotte there
J= wow she's getting so big
NM= yes so big she is eating everything in the house now
E= I bet she is
J= now Owen is growing up so much how old is he now
NM= he is three he's about to be four here in the next couple months
E= wow that's crazy
HV= hey will hey Natalie
WH= hey Hank look it's the birthday girl
NM= Man she is so big since the last time we saw her
J= yeah she has you guys should come over so the cousins can play together soon
WH= oh yeah hopefully soon whenever we each have the same days off
E= couldn't agree more

We say hi to all of our cats as I come in everyone passes Camryn oh round and cherish and celebrate her. About 45 minutes later after everyone showed up it was time to blow out her candles on her cake

J= all right everyone can I have your attention( they all look at the birthday family) so me and Erin would like to say thank you all for coming to celebrate our daughters first birthday
E= also thank you all for your help in the first year of parenthood we love each and everyone of you and that statement about it takes a village to raise a child well you guys are Village so thank you. So now who is ready to sing happy birthday to our little girl
ALL= yes we are
J= well before we do that we want to say something to our daughter first
E= so Camryn we are so happy to be your parents you are the biggest blessing we could've ever had
J= you are the smartest little girl ever we hope you get whatever you dream of we are's just happy you chose us as your parents we love you so much baby girl ( they both kiss her cheeks )
E= ( raised a glass) to Camryn
ALL= to Camryn
J= all right let's start singing ( sings)
ALL= happy birthday dear Camryn happy birthday to you and many more

After me and Erin helped Camryn blow out her candles she started to eat her smash cake after five minutes she smashed the whole cake and had it all over her and then was done with it because she hates being dirty. So I grab the cake and threw it away then I get Camryn and go give her a bath since she was a mess but 30 minutes later I get her cleaned and we join everybody so she can open her birthday gifts she got a lot of clothes from all her aunts and then got lots of noisy toys we decided to keep most of the noisy toys at Hanks house. A couple hours later everyone leaves we clean up and then we decide to head home too. Once we get home Erin puts Camryn down For bed while I bring all the presents in from the car

J= and everything is finally out of the car
E= that's good to know
J= so how did it go putting her down
E= Super easy actually
J= she must had been super tired then
E= oh yeah she had a long day for sure
J= well her parents did too
E= yes we did
J= so what are we going to do with all of her new toys and clothes
E= maybe in the next few days we need to do a full clean out of her clothes and her toys an ad in the new ones
J= that's a good idea so are you hungry still or you still fully from the party
E= i'm actually still hungry
J= how about I order a pizza for us
E= that sounds perfect

I go and order some pizza it arrives within 30 minutes as we eat we just talk and spend time with each other once we get done eating we head to bed and play a few quick rounds of Scrabble then we fall asleep getting ready for the next Adventure with our one year that is the light of our lives

For one will and Natalie are married now they've been married before they had a baby Charlotte.
