Erin's POV: it's been a little over a month since Camryn's first birthday it's still crazy to me that she is One years old already. She is becoming smarter in crazy toddler each and every day. For Thanksgiving he spend it with Will and Natalie and the Cannes it was pretty great to see all the cousins play together. When we got back to work after Thanksgiving Adam shut this off by saying that he proposed to Haley. We all are so happy for them. Right now it's a couple days before Christmas we are working on the book case but each lead we get turns up three more we should hopefully you able to solve it here soon. Since the last week and a half we haven't spent much time with our daughter

HV= has anybody been able to find anything
KA= not yet boss sorry
HV= it's no big deal just keep trying
AR= I hope we solve this soon so we can enjoy Christmas
E=Adam might shock you but I actually agree with you
AR= wow I must be in a dream because Erin Lindsay actually agrees with me for once
E= you aren't dreaming Adam
J= but I Adam we would like to finally get to spend time of our daughter
E= we haven't been able to spend much time with her over the last week and a half
O= that must suck
J= oh it does
HV= how about I make you guys this deal if we can somehow solve this case in the next two days I will let everyone have a week off which would fall on Christmas how does that sound everybody
AD= that sounds perfect
KA= is the higher ups okay with that
HV= they see how hard we work so they let me have five weeks to give everyone a break throughout the whole year and we have a couple weeks still up for grabs before the year ends
AR= wow that's pretty cool
KA= yeah it is

We get to trying to solve the case. we were finally able to find some solid clues within 24 hours we were able to finally solve the case so we hurried up and got our paperwork done as fast as possible so we can get home and have a week and a half off

E= I am finally done what about you babe
J= I am done also
E= that's perfect
J= and we still are good on time because her daughter is still awake at this time
E= that's perfect let's go see her
J= all right bye guys
E= by everyone in by Hicks see you in a week and a half
HV= hey maybe sometime this week and a half you can bring my granddaughter by because I miss seeing her
J= will do you hank see ya

We say goodbye to platt on our way out we drive home kind of fast so we can see our daughter once we get home we wait inside to see who can get to her daughter first

E= hey Payton hey Camryn we are home
PS= hey guys look Camryn look who's here
CN= mommy daddy ( runs to Jay)
J= hey baby girl were you a good girl for miss Peyton
PS= yes she was in
E= well that's good we have missed you so much this past week
J= yes we did
P= so you guys are home At a decent hour does this mean you sold that case you were working on
E= yes we did thank God
J= and we have some good news for you
PS= you do what is it
E= well Hank said that since we hadn't been working so hard lately that he is giving The whole unit a week and a half off
J= so that means you get a whole week off to you since you have been watching her pretty much for almost 2 weeks now
PS= well that's good
E= yeah I bet you would love to go visit your family for Christmas
PS= oh yeah and maybe get to spend some time with my boyfriend finally
J=you have a boyfriend
PS= yes I do
E= wow we learned something new about you
PS= yeah we have been dating for about a couple years now
J= I guess you guys are in any rush to get married anytime soon
PS= no we aren't we are just happy where we are in this relationship
E= so what is your boyfriend's name
PS= his name is Lucas he is the best thing that ever happened to me
J= well I know what that's like
E= same here so we aren't going to keep you any longer go enjoy your week and a half off in your family and friends

Once Peyton leaves me and Jay spend so much needed time with our daughter we eventually eat dinner. After dinner we both gave her a bath and then laid her down and she went right to sleep. So now it's me and Jay enjoying some peace and quiet in the living room and catching up on some shows we need to watch

J= can you believe we finally solve that case
E= I know that K seem like it would never end
J= that's for sure so what are we going to do for Christmas now
E= well I have an idea
J= you do what is it
E= well since we have a couple days until Christmas why don't we go up to the cabin and celebrate it there
J= I love that idea
E= I figured you would
J= so when would you want to go
E= how about we head out tomorrow after noon how does that sound
J= that sounds perfect how about we head to been so we can get an early start tomorrow morning
E= all right let's go ( starts to move) hey maybe you should carry me
J= fine be glad I love you so much

Jay carry me to bed we fall asleep pretty fast since we have been super busy and getting ready for our Adventure starting tomorrow

Jay's POV: it's been a little over a month since my baby girl turned one years old and it doesn't seem like she is one. It seems like yesterday she was just born. She has been growing each and every day she has been talking more and more each day too. It's a couple days before Christmas and over the last week in the unit has been working so hard to solve this case since like we weren't getting anywhere until Hank gave us a motivation to. Which was if we can get it sold in the next day and a half he would give us a week and a half off which we did. When we got home that night Erin came up an idea that we go to the cabin to spend Christmas which I loved. Right now I woke up before anyone else so I go and grab my things I want for the next few days once I do that I go and make some breakfast for everyone. While I'm making breakfast everyone is still sleep about 10 minutes later right when the food is done I feel two hands come around my waist

J= well good morning to you
E= good morning it smells so good in here
J= are you talking about the food or are you talking about me
E= I was talking about the food but who knows I could be talking about you too
J= haha your very funny ( turns right kiss her) so how did you sleep
E= I slept pretty great until about 30 minutes when the bed felt cooled
J= I'm sorry I just woke up and wanted to get stuff done and I kind of wanted to eat
E= of course you did
J= hey what does that mean
E= nothing you just like to eat food all the time
J= well more food I eat the strong I get and that means you can admire my good looking body more and more each day since you love my body
E= oh yes I do
J= well by the way I love your body too
E= why thank you babe, so has our daughter woken up yet
J= nope she hasn't
E= well that's good that means I can do this a little bit longer ( plants a long kiss on jay's lips)
J= if you keep doing this the food would be getting cold
E= so the food is done
J= yes it's been done for a few now
E= wow so what did you make
J= I just made us some scrambled eggs and some toast
E= aww that sounds good I guess I will go and. Get some plates ( hears Camryn) well before I do that I will go and get our daughter
J= I guess so I will get the plates while you get miss princess

Erin goes and grabs Camryn while I fix everyone a plate. Once they come out we eat our food and make small talk about 15 minutes later everyone was done eating

E= hey Camryn are you done eating
CN= me all done
J= all right I will take your plate and go do the dishes
E= jay I will do them since you cooked
J= I know I did but before you got up I got all my stuff together for this week at the cabin already so now it's you guys time
E= you did
J= yes I did while I do the dishes why don't you and little miss Camryn go and get your things together
E= all right we will go do that

While Erin and Camryn get their stuff together for the week at the cabin while I do the dishes. Once they are done I Clean up the kitchen and the living room about 20 minutes later I was finally done cleaning so I just wait on the girls to get done packing five more minutes late they come out

J= so are you guys all packed
E= yes we are so we are staying at the cabin right
J= yeah why do you ask
E= well remembered how when we we're leaving yesterday hank said we need to bring this little girl over to see him sometime this week
J= oh yeah he did
E= well I don't want to leave early from the cabin so why don't we leave early today and go and see hank today
J= all right that works for me
E= all right I will go change her while you load the truck up
J= wait we are taking the truck does that means what I think it means
E= yes jay you get to drive the truck to the cabin
J= yes you are my angel
E= whatever now go load up the truck

When Erin goes get herself and Camryn changed I went and loaded up the truck. Once it was all loaded up I went back inside to check on the girls but them my phone rings

J= hey will what's up
WH= oh nothing what about you
J= nothing why do you ask
WH= well me and Natalie got lucky this year and we got the week of Christmas off so we decide that we wanted to take the kids up to the cabin to spend Christmas
J= wait are you serious
E= what's going on who is that
J= hold on a second will let me put you on speaker ( he does)
E= hey will
WH= hey Erin so what's the issue jay
J= well me and Erin actually got a few days off too and we planed on heading up to the cabin to spend Christmas there too
WH= no way that's funny
E= yeah I thought it would be next to spend Christmas at the cabin again Camryn would love it
WH= me and Natalie was thinking the same thing
J= so why should we do
NM= maybe we should all spend Christmas at the cabin together
E= I think that's a good idea
J= same what do you say we spend Christmas together will
WH= I say we do it
E= awesome this is going to be fun
NM= oh yeah
J= when are you guys planning on heading up to the cabin.
WH= here in a couple hours what about you
E= we are heading up soon but first we are stopping by Hank's house for a while so hank can see his granddaughter for a little bit
NM= that's good
J= how about this since the cabin doesn't have a Christmas tree why don't we met up at the tree farm near the cabin after we get the things we need done
WH= that works for me
NM= is there a certain time we should meet there
E= how does 5:30 sound
WH= that sounds perfect to me
J= all right see you guys later
E= bye guys talk soon
WH= bye guys ( they hang up )
J= wow that's crazy
E= oh yeah I guess we get to finally spend time with them for a while now
J= oh yeah so we probably should get going since we have a long day ahead of us
E= oh yeah let's go and see hank

We all load up unit the truck and take off to Hank's house. We arrive within 15 minutes when we get out of the truck Camryn went running toward the door and Erin chased her

J= I guess she wants to see her grandpa so bad
E= oh yeah come here little girl we don't run away from mommy or daddy all right
CN= okay mommy
J= Camryn let's knock on the door to let grandpa know we are here ( she does)
HV= there is my granddaughter
E= hey hank
HV= well it's cold out why don't you come in
J= all right thanks hank ( they come in)
HV= it's no problem so I know I said yesterday when I said you guys should bring her by sometime this week I didn't mean right away
J= we know that
E= it's just when we got home last night we were talking and trying to figure out what we are going to do for Christmas and I decide that we should head up to jay's cabin in Wisconsin to spend it and we want to spend as much time there
J= so we made a pit stop here before we go so you can see her before we are gone
HV= well that sounds like a good plan and I am so happy to finally see this little munchkin before you goes go
E= yeah also she will get to hang out with her cousins at the cabin too
HV= she does
J= yeah my brother and Natalie had a couple days so they wanted to spend it at the cabin with the kids
E= so it's going to be a big family Christmas at the cabin
HV= well that sounds like fun
J= oh yes it does
HV= well i am glad you came by today
E= you are what for
HV= well as you guys were working yesterday I got a phone call form someone saying she is in town and wanted to see me
J= yeah who is it
HV= how about I don't tell you I will them come say hi ( yells) you can come down now
OV= hey Erin
E= oh my god olive what are you doing here
OV= well me and Danny wanted to come visit because we miss you guys
E= you brought Danny where is he
HV= he was playing in the room ( yells) hey Daniel come down stairs there is someone here to see you
DV= ( comes down ) who is grandpa
E= hello Danny do you remember me
DV= aunt Erin of course I do ( runs to her)
E= oh buddy I miss you so much
DV= I miss you too
OV= oh how long has it been since we seen you last Erin
E= it's been a while maybe two years it was before I got engaged or even had this little girl
J= wow it's been a while
OV= hey jay how are you
J= I am good thanks for asking
OV= it's no problem so I heard you had this little girl is that her
E= yes it is so olive I would like you to meet Camryn Nicole halstead and baby girl this is your aunt olive and cousin Danny
OV= oh hello miss Camryn it's nice to finally meet you I heard so much about you
DV= hello Camryn

After about 10 minutes Camryn was getting fussy of being held so I decide to take her and Daniel out side to play while Erin and Hank catches up with olive

E= so how have you guys been doing some the last time we saw you
OV= well first off Danny started school
E= that's crazy
OV= so I forgot to say this earlier but congrats on getting married and having your little girl I'm sorry I wasn't at your wedding
E= it's no big deal and thanks we had a beautiful wedding and it was a lot of fun
HV= she was the most beautiful bride I ever seen well beside Camille
OV= I bet she was
E= so what have you been up too since we saw you last
OV= well I went back to school and got my physical therapist degree
HV= that's very amazing I'm very proud of you
E= I'm so proud of you too that's amazing
OV= thanks guys that means a lot from you guys
HV= your welcome Justin would be so proud of you
E= yes he would
OV=so since I am here and you mentioned Justin I have something I want to talk to you guys about
E= you do what is it
OV= well for the last year I have been thinking maybe it's time to move on and find love again
E= that makes sense
OV= so about six months ago I started talking to this guy and he is super nice and Danny loves him so the reason I am bringing this up is would it hurt you guys feelings if I started someone else or Is that a problem
E= no way it's no problem
HV= we just want you to be happy olive
E= same with Justin. He wouldn't want you to stand around and not be loved by someone else so go and be happy with your new guy
OV= all right now I feel better after talking to you guys I felt so nervous to bring it up to you guys
HV= why is that
OV= o just though you would think I didn't love Justin anymore because I want to date someone else
E= oh no we don't think that at all we know how much you loved Justin and no matter what you will always be party of this family
OV= all right thanks

After a while Daniel and. Camryn started to get cold so we went inside to grab some hot chocolate. Then hank decide to make some lunch for everyone we ate and then it was time to head out

J= well I think we need to hit the road
E= oh yeah especially if we want to make it to the tree farm to meet will, Natalie and the kids
HV= all right thanks for stopping by and letting me see her before you guys go to the cabin
J= it's no problem
E= it was great seeing you olive and so nice seeing you Daniel you guys needs to and visit more often
OV= oh yeah for sure maybe you guys should come visit us in Phoenix one time
J= oh yeah maybe during the cold months so that we can enjoy warm weather during that time frame
E= bye Daniel see you later
DV= bye aunt Erin and bye jay
J= bye buddy be a good boy for your mom
OV= he always is

We finally get into the truck and you start heading toward the tree for half an hour into the road trip both Erin and Camryn was asleep
So I just drove and listen to Christmas music when we were about 10 minutes away from the Christmas tree farm both girls woke up

J= well good afternoon my girls
E= how long was I asleep
J= both were asleep for a little over a hour and a half
E= wow I'm surprised I actually fell asleep especially with you driving
J= what does that mean I don't drive that bad do I
E= sometimes that's why I always drive
J= whatever you say but you guys both woke up just in time we are almost at the tree farm
E= that's good to hear
J= oh yeah so do you think will, Natalie and the kids are here already or did we beat them here
E= I definitely think they are already here
J= no way they have two kids to get moving we only have one
E= yeah but Natalie probably get them moving pretty fast herself
J= I guess we will see you soon figure it out since we are here
E= Camryn are you ready to pick out a Christmas tree
CN= yes mommy
J= look where is will Natalie and the kids
E= I guess I was right that they would be here before us
J= I guess you were
E= maybe it's because you are a slow driver
J= no I am now
E= whatever you say what park code so I can find a tree already ( he does and they all get out)
WH= hey guys I'm shocked we got here before you
J= I know we are too
E= I hope we haven't kept you guys waiting too long
NM= not at all we only been here for about five minutes
J= see that isn't bad
WH= well it's a good idea you decided to bring the truck because I plan on finding a big tree and I don't think it will fit in our car
J= me too bro and Erin let me drive it for once so it's a win-win for me
E= Owen are you ready to help pick out a Christmas tree
OM= yes I am
NM= all right let's go

We spent 20 minutes just walking around the farm trying to find the perfect one when we finally found one that we all liked

WH= did we find the tree we all like
E= oh yeah it's perfect
NM= totally agree
J= All right Will let's cut it down then

We were able to cut it down and get it loaded up in the truck after we paid for it within 10 minutes

E= hey will and Natalie do you guys bring any ornaments for the tree
NM= we have a bin what about you guys
J= we have a bin too
E= but I think we need way more than whatever we brought with us
NM= Same here ( to Erin) what about me you and the kids head to a nearby store and grab some more ornaments while you guys take the tree to the cabin and get it ready for us when we get there
WH= are you guys fine going to the store with three kids
J= because we can take one of them if you want
NM= actually I bet Owen would get bored shopping with us so maybe he can stay with you guys
WH= hey Owen would you like to stay with me and Jay or go with mommy and aunt Erin
OM= I want to stay with you will
J= yes you get to hang out with the boys while the girls do the boring part which is shopping we're gonna have so much fun little guy
NM= well you boys have fun doing whatever boys do when us girls aren't around but not too much fun since he is a little boy while we shop
J= have fun you four

Once we switch car seats around the girls headed to the store to shop while we three boys head to the cabin and put up the tree. When we got there we figured out where to put the Christmas tree which would be by the fireplace. Once it was actually bought in we brought all of our bags and stuff in and put them in each respective room. We found some more old decorations in the cabin so we spent most the time just enjoying some boy time until the girls came back from shopping. About two hours later they finally arrived to the cabin

E= hey boys we are back
OM= mommy ( runs to Natalie)
NM= hey buddy were you good for uncle Jay and will while we were gone
WH= he is always good for me
J= so how did it go shopping
E= it went good we got everything we needed and some more things
NM= well we also stopped and grabbed everyone some food
WH= good because I'm starving
E= you halstead men are always hungry
NM= how about we get the food out while you guys bring everything else inside
J= all right we can do that

Me and will bring in all the stuff the girls brought at the store and then we all eat dinner

Erin's pov:I was so happy that Hank let us have a week off so that we don't have to worry about Christmas and we can spend Christmas with our daughter. We decided that we wanted to spend it at the cabin but what is funny is we weren't the only ones who had that same idea because they had time off also. So us , will, Natalie and the kids all are spending it at the cabin together once we picked a tree at the tree farm we headed to the cabin and we let it not get decorated that night because we are all tired so the next day we all decorated the tree and it looks pretty good. Then spent the rest of the days leading up to Christmas playing outside in the snow a lot and hanging out with the kids. Right now it's the morning of Christmas and I am waking up to Jake just looking at me

E= how many times have I told you that it's creepy to watch me sleep or stare at me
J= how many times do I tell you I can't help but look at my beautiful wife
E= whatever but good morning
J= ( kiss her) good morning and merry Christmas
E= Merry Christmas so is anyone else up yet
J= not that I know of
E= not even our daughter
J= no she is still sound asleep
E= well that's good because I have a Christmas present I want to give you right away
J= you do what is it
E= well first I have to use the restroom and then I will have you unlock it
J= oh I can't wait
E= me either

i use the restroom and then change them to my green lacy outfit that I bought for Jay. Once I showed you his present he loved it and then unlocked it and we went a couple rounds of Scrabble about an hour later . Everyone started to wake up so we all went downstairs to see what Santa bought us

OM= oh my mom look
NM= I know I see
WH= oh and E must've been a good boy this year if Santa brought you all this
CN= presents
J= yes Camryn these presents are all for you guys

Me and Natalie start sorting out the presents and then hand them to the kids

NM= here Owen this present is actually from mommy and will
OM= ( opens it ) it's a transit set thank you mommy
NM= you're welcome buddy can you also say thank you to Will
OM= thank you daddy
J= wait did he just say
E= yes I think he did I might cry
WH= you're welcome buddy ( kiss him and hugs him)

We open all of us to the present and spend the day playing with all the kids new toys. At one point all the kids took a nap so me and Jay volunteered to keep an eye on the kids while Natalie and will walked around the cabin and spend some alone time together while they were gone I decided it was time to give Jay his final present

E= so Jay I may have one more present for you
J= you do what is it
E= well remember right before Camryn turned one you asked if I ever wanted another baby
J= yeah and you said you weren't ready just yet
E= well I have been thinking and been here with Will and Natalie and all the kids end it has made me realize that I want to have another baby and A sibling for our daughter .
J= are you sure babe
E= I am totally sure go ahead and knock me up and make sure you give me a boy this time around
J= Believe me I will try my best I love you
E= I love you so much ( they kiss)

We spend the next few days just hanging out with family and being happy to be at the cabin and Jay and me have started trying for another baby now that I'm ready and I hope it happens soon.
