Erin's POV: it's been a couple weeks since we spent a week in New York, I was a little nervous to go but I am happy we went to New York. We made some great memories as a family in New York. I loved catching up with Olivia and the team, right now I am 30 weeks pregnant with our second little girl , I have been feeling so good lately. When we were in New York we decide it was time to find a bigger place for our growing family, so right when we got back from New York we started to look at house everyday. Right now me and jay are in the bullpen alone beside hank while the others are talking to their CI.
J= hey Erin did you see the house I just sent you
E= yeah I'm getting ready to look at it ( a few minutes later)
J= so what do you think about it
E= it's Big has a backyard
J= oh yeah big enough for for the kids
E= maybe tomorrow we can look at it
HV= hey you guys I don't mean to ease drop but I overheard you guys talking about finding a new house
J= that's right
E= our place is getting too small it started to get small when Porter came to live with us
HV= makes sense are you guys trying to get into this new house before the new princess comes
J= we hope so but we aren't having any luck
E= we have a couple lined to look at here this weekend
HV= well good luck and if you need any help finding a place let me know
J= we will hank
E= thanks for offering hank
HV= it's no problem
We get back to looking at house and we add a few more house to the episode. Everyone comes back a couple hours later then we solve the case pretty fast . Once we got our paperwork done me and jay headed home to spend time with the kids. The next couple days we keeping looking at houses. It's finally our day off so it was time to look at these house in person. We decide to take the kids with us, we hope we can find the house soon
J= morning babe
E= good morning to my sexy husband
J= how did you sleep
E= not to bad considering I had your daughter kicking me non stop and making me use the restroom a lot
J= oh so she is my daughter only when she wakes you up a lot and makes you have to pee
E= oh yeah but I love it just means she loves to kicks box like I do
J= I'm sure so are you ready for today
E= yes I am I hope we can find a house
J= let's hope so
E= how about we go over what we want in a house before we go look at these house
J= that's a good idea so first thing is how many bedroom do we want
E= I think we need 5 bedrooms
J= okay so how many bathrooms then
E= I say at least 3 bathrooms
J= that works for me I hope we have a master bathroom
E= same here a nice soaker tub so I can take nice long baths
J= great idea so how about having two sinks so we don't have to share
E= oh yeah may have like different areas like separate counter area away from each other
J= oh yeah since you are a mess person in the bathroom
E= not this again I'm not a mess person in the bathroom
J= I'm sorry you have have gotten bigger over the years
E= why thank you any ways back to our house any thing you want in this house
J= I want a basement so we can have a game room slash movie room
E= that's a great idea so if you other things I would like is he nice porch on the front and back of the house, in my room to put all of our boots and coats and lastly a great master closet
J= that's all sounds good
E= I do you want some new furniture for the new house
J= why this furniture is in good condition
E= I know but I think when we move into the new house it'll be nice to have all new furniture so it all looks nice
J= that's a good point we can do that under one condition
E= okay what is it
J= we don't get rid of that couch it has a lot of meaning to it
E= yes it does we won't get rid of that couch since it brought us back together
J= yes it does ( they kiss) and who knows it might be the reason we have both of our girls
E= yeah maybe who knows
J= are you hungry
E= yes I am starving
J= well I was getting ready to make breakfast what would you like
E= how about some chocolate chip pancakes
J= all right coming right up
E= okay so are the kids up yet
J= nope they are still sleeping away
E= good let's enjoy our alone time
J= oh yeah okay One more thing to add to my wish list for the new house
E= all right what is it
J= how about we get a house with a good size backyard for the kids
E= all right we can do that
J= maybe in the future we can have a dog for the kids
E= yeah maybe
Jay cook breakfast well we make small talk once the food was done both kids wake up so I go and get them. About an hour later we all get done eating a bunch as well she takes care of the kids might get them dressed and everything for the day while I clean up from breakfast. Once I do that I go and get dressed once we all are dressed and ready we had to meet the realtor at the first house
RA= hey guys thanks for coming
J= hey it's no problem
RA= so are you guys ready to see your first house today
E= oh yeah let's go
RA= all right come along
J= okay
The realtor shows us around the house it wasn't that bad half and hour later
RA= all right so guys have hat did you think about this first house
E= well it was a nice house
J= a great little house
RA= but not the right house
E= yeah no this house isn't out dream house
RA= understandable so how about this you guys tell me your dream wish list you want in the house then we meet back up tomorrow to look at houses you guys would like how does that sound
J= that works for us thanks
We tell the realtor everything we decided on this morning what we want it in our dream house once she leaves we start searching again for our dream house we decided to go to the park so the kids can have a little bit of fun. When we arrive we see some familiar faces at the park
E= no way kids like who's here
CN= uncle will
PJ= Owen
J= hey guys what are you doing here
NM= well we had the day off it was a nice day out for once so we decided to take the kids to the park to have some fun
WH= what about you guys
J= same as you guys we had the day off
E= also we were househunting today
NM= makes sense you need more room now that you have a another baby coming soon
WH= so find any houses yet
J= we only looked at one today it was fine but not what we wanted
E= we gave our realtor a list of things we want in a house and she is going to get back to us tomorrow with more houses to look at
NM= that's good so Erin how are you feeling
E= not too bad she kicks me all the time now and mostly in the middle of the night
J= so she has to pee a lot
NM= oh I know how you feel
WH= so how are Porter and Camryn doing
E= they are doing amazing
J= they are such best friends they get into trouble all the time together
NM= oh boy that sounds like fun
E= totally I just hope when this little girl comes she's just laid-back and unlike the others
WH= let's hope so
J= are you guys busy
NM= no we aren't why do you ask
J= why don't you guys come over
E= yeah we will order pizza for all of us
WH= all right that sounds perfect
NM= what time should we be at your place
E= how does 6 o'clock sound
WH= that works for us see you at six
We let the kids play for about an hour or more before they got tired so we took them home so They can nap. At six o'clock will, Natalie and the kids show up we ate our food then the kids played together for a while, while the adults catch up with each other. Then later on they leave and we all went to the bed
Jay's POV: it's been a couple weeks since we went to New York I'm glad we got to see Olivia and the team again. Also Erin finally got some good memories from New York,the kids had so much fun. When we got back to Chicago we started looking for our dream house for a growing family, we seen one yesterday but it was totally the opposite of what we were looking for, so we gave the realtor our wishlist of our dream house. She told us she will look and get back to us today. Right now it's the morning time and I wake up before everyone like usually so I just lay here with Erin in my arms sleeping and I have my hand on her belly to see if i can feel out daughter kicks first thing in the morning about 20 minutes later after laying in silents. I feel baby girl starts kicking then 5 minutes later Erin wakes up
E= well I guess I have to get up now to Pee
J= I guess so but good morning babe
E= good morning be right back ( A couple minutes later ) that is one thing I dislike about being pregnant
J= what having to pee a lot
E= oh yeah I feel I spent about half my day or more in the restroom
J= you don't got too much longer until she'll be here in our arms and you can Pee normally again
E= I know and I can't wait
J= same here now come cuddle with me
E= all right ( crawls into his arms) this is the best feeling in the world
J= couldn't agree more that two of my girls in my arms
E= well we feel so safe in your arms
J= I wish we could stay like this forever
E= same here so are the kids up yet
J= nope just me, you and this little nugget ( touches her belly )
E= all right how about me and you go jump in the shower or the bath tube
J= how do you say I stink mrs halstead
E= no I am not but it would be nice to spend some alone time and he does a shower on the bathtub with my sexy ass husband so what do you say which one do you pick for us to spend time in together
J= well you know I love our shower time together but I think maybe we can do the bath this time to relax a little more
E= I am happy you chose that option I was hoping you pick it up he said we can do showers anytime. We don't get to have a nice bubble bath all that much
J= that's true let's go
We get to enjoy a nice 45 minute relaxing bubble bath together and it was just what we needed. Once the water got cold we got out and got dressed for the day
E= that bath felt so relaxing
J= yes send it couldn't agree more
E= you know I don't feel like cooking breakfast this morning
J= I know how you feel I don't either
E= how about we go out for breakfast
J= I love your idea
E= we have to wait until the kids get up now
J= ( hears them) I guess we don't have to wait that much longer now
E= no we don't ( phone rings ) this might be the realtor come and get the kids
J= all right
E= hello
HV= hey Erin it's me hank
E= hey Hank what's up
HV= nothing just checking in did you guys have any luck yesterday finding a bigger house for you guys
E= we only looked at one in the wheelchair lined up a few more today
HV= well would you mind if I came along to help you guys look
E= that's fine actually me and Jay haven't had breakfast yet and we both didn't want to cook how about you meet us at the diner near the district for breakfast
HV= that works for me see you soon
E= all right see you soon ( hangs up)
J= was that the realtor
E= no that was Hank
J= oh really I hope he didn't call us to come into work today
E= no he didn't
J= oh okay what did he want
E= he was wondering if he can help us look for our dream house and I said yes of course
J= oh yeah that's fine
E= I offered him to meet up with us first before we meet up with the realtor this morning
J= what did he say
E= he would love to so we are meeting him at the diner near the district
J= all right that works for me Camryn are you ready to go see grandpa
CN= grandpa!
E= I will take that as a yes so is everyone ready to go eat
PJ= yes I am
J= all right then let's go who's driving
E= you get to
J= wow I'm a lucky boy today
E= maybe your luck will finish up later
J= God I hope so
We meet up with Hank and enjoy a nice little breakfast that none of us had to cook. While we were there we told Hank about our wish list for our dream house he liked what we wanted in a house. Once everyone is done eating we left and met up with the realtor at the first house of the day
RA= hey guys your just in time
E= that's good to know
J= so I hope you don't mind we bought my father-in-law to help us look today
RA= not at all nice to meet you
HV= hank voight but you can call me Hank
RA= hello Hank anyways are you ready to look at some houses
E= yes we are
RA = all right follow me
J= all right
It Takes us about 30 minutes to see the first house of the day that she chose for us
RA= so what do you guys think of this one
HV= it looks nice
E= it was better than yesterday one
J= oh yeah but the bedrooms in the backyard were too small for us
RA= all right let's go look at the next one that I have lined up
E= all right let's go
About 45 minutes later we get done looking at the second house she chose for us
RA= so how is this one
HV= it's nice but seems like a lot of projects you guys would have to do
J= oh yeah I am not great with fixing thing
E= no you aren't besides I want something more move-in ready since I will be having this baby anytime soon
RA= totally makes sense on the next one
J= let's go Porter
About another 45 minutes later we get done looking at the third house of the day
RA= so how is this house
HV= this is my least favorite of the day
J= same here
E= yeah the basement isn't done all the way in this location isn't my favorite
J= right it's too far away from work
RA= all right I have one last one to show you guys to look at and I have a feeling this will be the best one
HV= all right let's go see it
About an hour later we see the last House of the day
RA= so that was it how did you like it
HV= this was my favorite one so far
E= oh yeah same it had everything we said we wanted in a place
J= also find the number right will and Natalie lives a couple doors down
E= oh yeah they do
HV= and it's great distance to work
J= oh yeah great point
RA= so is this your house
E= I think it is but may I ask if this is in our budget
RA= it's a little over your budget
J= how much over
RA= it's 75,000 over
E= wow that is a lot
J= oh yeah we had a little extra money but not that much money saved
RA= how about this you guys think over the four houses I showed you today and get back to me in a couple days with what you decided how does that sound
E= that will work thanks for showing us all these houses today
RA= it's no problem talk to you guys soon ( she leaves)
HV= I bet you guys are hungry
J= oh yeah starving
E= and these kid needs a nap they are so tired
HV= well how about you guys come back to my house and I fix you guys something to eat while the kids nap
J= all right let's go
We get back to hanks house me and Erin lay the kids down while Hank cook us something to eat
E= and they are down
HV= was it easy to put them down
J= yeah they fell asleep pretty fast
HV= that's good to know food will be ready here in 10 minutes
E= that's good because this pregnant lady is starving
J= Maybe our kids get the whole I'm always hungry from you and not me
E= no way it's totally from you
HV= so guys what did you think of all the houses today
J= they all work better than yesterday's one
E= totally were but I really love that last house we saw today
J= But it was completely out of our budget
HV= so I have an offer I would like you guys to consider
E= okay what is it
HV= I would like to help pay for your dream house like half so you can have some money for the kids future .
J= no way hank
E= yeah you don't have to
HV= I know I don't but I want to and beside Erin me and Camilla put some money aside for both you and Justin to help with a house when you guys got older and had a family of your own
J= wow that's nice of you guys
E= so nice
HV= how about this you guys think it over for a couple days and get back to me with what you decide
E= all right we will hank thanks for offering
HV= it's no problem food is ready
We eat our lunch hank fixes us, we did up staying at Hanks house for a couple hours by the kids fountain and ate some food themselves then we decided to head home so we can get some dinner. After dinner we play with the kids for a little bit until it was time to give them a bath and then put them to bed.
J= they are finally asleep
E= thank God today was a long day
J= totally agree so what do you think about what Hank offered us
E= I am kind of shocked he would offer something like that
J= same here but I don't feel right about having hank help us pay for our new house
E= I get what you mean but I think he just wants to help us find the perfect house for our growing family
J= I know he does but serious question how much do you love that last house we saw today
E= I love it as much as I love you and the kids J= wow so you can't stop thinking about it
E= no I can't I picture a future in that house and maybe more babies
J= oh really you do
E= yeah what about you
J= I think I can see the kids running around the backyard with a dog
E= Really jay a dog
J= yeah a dog i've always wanted one
E= so did we make the decision to let Hank help us with buying the house of our dreams
J= I think we did so we will talk to Hank and cold realtor here in the next few days
E= oh yeah but right now how about you take me and baby girl to bed because we both are exhausted
J= I am happy to take my girls to bed
We head to bed both me and Erin fall asleep pretty quickly after a long day of fun in our dream house
Erin's POV: it's been a couple days since we started looking for our dream house the first day didn't give us any good houses but the second day we saw a better Selection, and then we found our dream house. When we got to the last house I knew right away that it was our dream house because I had everything we wanted, but what sucked was it was a little over budget so that made me feel hopeless again, but later that day Hank offered to help pay for half of the house so we can get our dream house we weren't sure at first but after we talked over later that night we decided to let him. Today me and Jay are going in the work and telling Hank the good news
J= ( wraps his arms around Erin) morning babe
E= Jay Alexander you almost made me spill my coffee
J= i'm sorry god forbid I mess with Erin Lindsay and her coffee I would be a deadman already.
E= oh you would and it's Erin halstead now don't you forget it
J= oh believe me I won't so where is my coffee at
E= it's still in the pot you got to pour it yourself
J= you're so mean to me
E= I know I am but you love me
J= yes I do
E= so are the kids up and dress
J= yes they are they are just playing in their rooms right now
E= good the nanny will be here soon
About 30 minutes later than any shows up and we headed into work once we get there we head straight to Hank's office
HV= ( knocking) come in
E= hey hank you got a second
HV= sure do what's up
J= so the other day when you offered to help pay for our dream house and you told us to think about it
HV= oh yeah so have you decided yet
E= yes we did and we are happy to tell you we will be excepting your offer to help pay for the house
HV= that's wonderful have you called the realtor yet
J= no we haven't we wanted to come to you first
HV= all right thanks for letting me know
E= no problem we will go call the realtor and let her know
J= and we will tell you when we get the house
HV= all right thanks
We had to locker room and call the realtor to tell her the good news. Once we tell her that we want to last so she said she will throw up the paperwork and call us back when she hears something from the seller. We hang up and go back to work. A few days later me and Jay were sitting and doing some paperwork when all of a sudden my phone started to ring
E= hey jay that's the realtor
J= let's go to the locker room
E= all right ( in the locker room ) hello you're on speaker Jay is also here
RA= hey guys how are you
J= we are doing good
RA= so the reason I am calling is I have some news on your house of your dreams that you wanted
E= you do what is the news
RA= well I am happy to tell you guys that you got the house
J= that's amazing thanks for calling
RA= it's no problem you guys will have to come to my office to sign the paperwork sometime next couple days
E= we will thank you ( hangs up) no way we got the house
J= yes we did let's go to Hank and tell him the good news
E= all right
HV= ( knocking ) come in
E= hey hank we wanted to tell you we just got off the phone with our realtor
HV= okay what did she say
J= she said we got the house
HV= wow congrats guys
E= why thank you she said we need to go to our office in the next couple days to sign some paperwork then we can start moving in as soon as possible
HV= well I am happy for you guys
J= I think you I think tomorrow morning we will sign the papers
E= so we might be late coming into work
HV= that's fine with me I'm guessing you guys will need the team to help you move
J= oh yeah
HV= all right just tell me when you want to move and I will get everyone the weekend off
E= that's nice of you let's go tell everyone the good news ( in the bullpen )
J= hey everyone Can I have your attention
KA= sure what's up Jay
E= well me and Jay decided we needed a bigger house
VR= makes sense since you're getting ready to have thee kids
J= well last week we found our dream house
E= and the realtor just called and said that we got it
AR= let me guess you need us to help move you guys in
KB= I can't wait to see it
KA= of course we can help you move in
AO= count me out
AD= I would love to help maybe I can how Diego and Eva come help out too
E= that would be great
AR= so what do we get if we help you guys move
J= well hank said he will give everyone the weekend off
KB= well that's nice of you boss
E= and I will get everyone a six pack of beer and we will have pizza after we move everything in
AR= that's what I was talking about I will help you move
J= figured so we will meet you guys in a couple of days
KA = all right can't wait
HV= now everyone get back to your paperwork
KB= will do
AR= got it boss
The next day we went to the realtors office inside all the work that we needed and got the keys to our new house. Over the next couple days we started packing everything up we were able to move in to the place the next weekend. Jay got up early to go pack up the U-Haul with Kevin while Vanessa help me with the kids in the morning before they headed to Hanks house to stay so they will be out of the way. Couple hours later everyone showed up at once
AR= all right where is my beer and pizza
HU= Adam take a chill pill
E= you will get it once you move everything but if you break anything I will break you and you will get nothing
KA= looks like we can't mess anything up or we will have Erin after us today
AD= so where do you want us boss lady
E= I want all the guys to start breaking down the furniture while Haley and Kim Will start loading the truck
HV= where is my granddaughter
CN= i'm right here grandpa ( runs to him)
J= thank you Hank for taking them today
HV= it's no problem I don't mind spending the day with them rather do that that then lift anything
AR= come on boss it isn't that bad
HV= i'm sure, so gentlemen and Haley and Kim make sure the pregnant ladies don't lift anything today
AD= oh we won't boss
HU= we got them covered
KA= me and Jay decided that they will be the supervisors today
HV= good idea say bye-bye to mommy and daddy Camryn and Porter
PJ= bye jay
CN= bye bye mommy and daddy
J= bye guys be good for grandpa and Hank
HV= they always are ( they leave )
KB= are you guys keeping the old furniture
E= Nope we are getting all new since I had most of the furniture for years now
J= well we are keeping one thing
HU= which is what
E= we are keeping this couch
KA= why is that
J= well it holds a lot of good memories on it like we played Scrabble on it
AR= what do you mean played Scrabble on it like the board game that's a weird reason why to keep it
E= well it's our reason so get over it
Within two hours the whole house was boxed up into the U-Haul before we got to the house we stopped at a donation spot to drop off the furniture we didn't want any more then we headed toward our new house.
J= and we have arrive
E= I can't wait for everyone to see it ( everyone gets out of their cars )
KB= wow Erin and jay this house is beautiful
J= why thank you
E= how about I show you guys around before we unload the truck
VR= sounds great let's go
I show them around and tell them where I want everything
J= so what do you guys think
KB= this is a perfect house
HU= it's not too vid
AD= you guys did well for yourself
E= why thank you Antonio
WH= knock knock your favorite neighbor is here to say hi
J= hey will hey Natalie
NM= this house looks amazing
E= why thank you Natalie where are the kids at.
WH= they are hanging with Natalie's parents who are visiting this week
J= oh okay let me show you around really fast then we will start unloading the truck
NM= all right after you
Jay showed Will and Natalie around the house and then we all started to unload the truck we were able to get it done within two hours
E= now that is done girl can you stay here so you can unpack the boxes while me and thr guys go pick up the new furniture form the store
VR= sure can Erin
HU= we will have your house unpacked in no time
E= all right come on boys
The girls unpack all the boxes while me and the boys go and get the new furniture, on the way back to the house I stop and grab all the beer and get some pizza for everyone. We arrive back to the next house and the boys get off the new furniture unloaded super fast. While I go and check in on the girls
E= wow you guys got a lot done since I been gone
NM= well many hands make light work
VR= or you can say teamwork makes the dream work
KB= either way we are almost done
E= well thank you guys
J= hey babe where are we putting our couch
E= put it in the basement since it will be your man cave
J= all right
Within a half and hour our whole house was finally unpacked so we all sat down and eat our pizza while they drink their beer. We also catch up with everyone while we eat. A couple hours later they all decide to head him so I texted Hank to bring the kids home
HV= knock knock
E= welcome home Kids
CN= mommy ( runs to her)
PJ= jay ( runs to him)
J= I miss you guys so much
E= same here we're you guys good for grandpa Hank
HV= yes they were angled like always
E= well that's good to hear so are you ready to see your rooms
PJ= yes I am
J= all right let's go
HV= I will see you guys later
E= all right hank take care see you at work
HV= see you at work bye
CN= bye grandpa ( Hank leaves )
E= this first room is your Camryn
CN= wow this is cool wait mommy where is my crib
J= well Camryn you are a big girl and I think it's time you have a big girl bed
E= and beside your baby sister will need your when she gets her in the next few weeks
CN= okay mommy
J= so Porter your room will be next to Camryn's and you get to share a bathroom ( opens the door) here it is
PJ= wow this is cool
E= now the next day we have off we will go shopping to get things you like for your room
PJ= all right
We hang out with the kids for a little bit then we get their night time routine started by doing their bath and then off to bed for the first time in the new house.
J= are you guys ready to sleep in your own rooms tonight
CN= yes
E= what about you Porter
PJ= i'm not sure
J= what's wrong buddy you don't want to sleep in your own room
PJ= no I don't
E= how about this we have a sleepover in our bedroom since it's the first night then maybe we'll try again tomorrow night how does that sound
CN= yea sleep over
PJ= all right
J= we will try again tomorrow night for sure
We all cuddled together in our big king size mattress and we all fall asleep instantly, hopefully the next night will be better and they will want to stay in their own rooms. We can't wait to see what new memories we will have in this house in the future.
