2. Chapter 1: Introductions

Chapter 1: Introductions

In the office of Ambassador Udina, the ambassador, Captain Anderson, and Admiral Hackett were going over the list of N7's when a name showed up. File: Kat Sheppard.

"Well what about Shepard? Earthborn … but no record of her family." Ambassador Udina suggested.

"Doesn't have one. She was raised on the streets. Learned to look out for herself." Captain Anderson relayed to the Ambassador.

"She proved herself during the Blitz. Held off enemy forces on the ground until reinforcements arrived." Admiral Hackett explained to the ambassador.

"She's the only reason Elysium is still standing." Captain Anderson advocated.

"We can't question her courage." Udina hesitatingly relented.

"Humanity needs a hero, and Shepard's the best we've got." Anderson argued.

"I'll make the call." Udina agreed making the choice.

In the year 2148, explorers on Mars discovered the remains of an ancient spacefaring civilization. In the decades that followed, these mysterious artifacts revealed startling new technologies, enabling travel to the furthest stars. The basis for this incredible technology was a force that controlled the very fabric of space and time.

They called it the greatest discovery in human history.

The civilizations of the galaxy call it... MASS EFFECT.

On the Normandy Kat Shepard walked through the Normandy nodding to her crew that greeted her. "We are connected. Calculating transit mass and destination." Joker started announcing.

Shepard approaches the cockpit as Joker continues his announcement. "The relay is hot. Acquiring approach vector."

She makes it the cockpit as Joker finished his announcement. "All stations secure for transit."

Shepard looks out the window seeing the mass relay. "The board is green. Approach run has begun."

The Normandy approaches the relay. "Hitting the relay in 3…2…1…"

The Normandy enters the mass relay launching it to towards Eden Prime.

I decided to use my character in my playthrough of the Mass Effect series. I also don't own Mass Effect. Mass Effect is the property of EA (Everyone's Asshole).
