Erin's POV; it's been about a couple months since me and Jay went to his high school reunion, it was very nice to see where Jay went to school and also it was nice to have a night out away from the kids. Right now ember is six months old which is crazy that she is halfway to being one years old last week we celebrated Baby baby Charlotte turn into it's crazy she's too already. The kids are doing amazing they hang out with Owen a lot so they have a lot of cousin time now. Today all three kids have a doctors appointment and I am all alone with them because we got a big case the other day and hank can't spare two detectives so it's by myself with all three kids at the doctors. So I got up before the kids so I made some quick breakfast for all of us to eat but 15 minutes later the food was done right when I hear the kids waking up so I go and get them all
( in porter's room)
E= good good morning buddy
PJ= good morning mom where is dad
E= well he had to work today so it's just me so how did you sleep Porter
PJ= I slept well
E= well that's good to hear how about we go and get your sisters up
PJ= all right
( in Camryn's and ember's room)
E= good morning girls
CN= mommy , Porter
E= did you sleep well
CN= yes I did
E= that's good to hear why don't you importer go wash your hands why I go get Ember and change her
PJ= all right mommy
They go wash their hands while I change ember's Diaper and get her changed for the day about 10 minutes I don't we all sit down and eat the pancakes once we were done eating I hope the kids get dressed and we had told the doctors we arrive within 15 minutes I check on the kitchen and now we wait for us to get called back. About five minutes later we all head back to the room the nurses take the kids his vitals and then she leaves as we wait for the doctor to come in 5 minutes later ( knocking)
E= come on in
KP= hey guys how are we today
PJ= we are good
E= we are great
KP= that's great to hear so it's just you and the kids today where is jay
E= we were busy at work and Hank can only spare one person
KP= makes sense so has ember any milestones yet since the last time I saw you guys
E= The only one she had was about a week ago maybe we can have because she started to set up all by yourself
KP= that's good she is right on track let me take a look at all the kids
E= all right
It takes about five minutes for the doctor to look over the kids
KP= so Porter and Camryn look great
E= that's good
KP= and miss ember looks great also but she has two teeth coming in right now
E= oh my god that's crazy
KP= yeah here let me show you ( she does )
E= oh poor baby girl but she hasn't been fussy so maybe they haven't bothered her
KP= it happens all the time some kids get super fussy when it comes in and others like ember doesn't brother them
E= well that's good
KP= so since she said that she has been sitting out on her own now and she has a couple teeth coming in I'll give you the go ahead to start ember on solid foods now
E= that's wonderful news
KP= oh yeah and even more good news
E= oh really what is it
KP= today nobody hast to get any kind of shots
E= that's some very good news
KP So everything else looks good so see you guys next time
E= all right see you doctor ( she leaves)
Once the doctor leaves I'll pack up mine and the kids stuff we stop by the front desk to make our next appointment then we leave the doctors office. I decided to head to the store to grab a few things we need for the house and also grab some baby food for ember to try. Once we were done at the store I was hungry so were the kids so I stopped and grab pizza for me and the kids and also decided to grab some pizza for the guys at work since I decided we are going to stop by. We arrive at the district within 25 minutes and once we get there I realized I can't carry all the kids and the food and so I text Jay to come down to the car
J= hey guys what are you doing here
E= well we just came from the doctors
J= oh yeah how did it go were you kids good at the doctors
CN= yes daddy
PJ= yes we were
E= they were perfect nobody needed shots
J= well that's good to hear
E= but I did learn that sweet ember has two teeth coming in
J= oh really poor girl
E= yeah but that means we can start feeding her some solid foods now
J= wow that's cool
E= but anyways we were all hungry so I picked up some pizza for us and decided to get some for you guys here at work
J= oh how sweet are you
E= yeah so sweet but can you either grab the pizza or the kids I can't carry it all at once
J= I'll get the pizza
E= all right kids let's go
Jay carries the pizza for me while I grab ember and Camryn importer walks beside me as we head upstairs
J= hey guys look who stopped by and also brought us some food
KA= hey Erin
AD= hey little halstead
AR= oh my do I smell food I'm starving
E= yes you do Adam I bought some pizza for everyone
VR= wow Erin why thank you
E= you're very welcome now let's eat up
AR= all right me first
AD= actually Adam it should be the kids and Haley first to eat
HU= oh yeah especially since I am nine months pregnant with your child
AR= all right then you go first
Everyone eats the pizza while I eat I have Jay catch me up on what's going on with the case. We stay for about an hour then we all head home, I put the kids down for nap once we get home and I just relax. Where is it in NJ gets home and we try to give Ember some solid foods, but she didn't like the broccoli and carrot one and got sick on Jay, so we tried another one which was peaches and strawberry which she loved. The next day it was a day off for both of us so we just hung out with Will Natalie and their kids
Jay's POV: it's been a couple months since me and Erin went to my high school reunion it was nice to have a night away from the kids and also nice to see my old school with all my old friends I had and maybe even seen my old girlfriend Allie. The kids are doing great Camryn and Porter our best friends they also love hanging out with their cousin Owen and Charlotte. Ember it's a pretty chill baby she hardly doesn't cry which is pretty telling since when Erin Took her to the doctors the other day the doctor found that she had two teeth coming in and they didn't bother her at all so that was good. We tried solid foods with Ember it went as well as expected, overall she has been loving it. Right now it's the middle of the day and everyone is doing the paperwork the last couple days the kids haven't been feeling well so me and Erin are worried about them about 10 minutes later Erin phone rings.
E= hello Peyton
PS= hey Erin I hope I'm not bugging you at work I hope you're not busy either
E= not at all we are not busy at all just hold on while I grab Jay and get a more private spot where we can talk
PS= all right
J= what's going on
E= (into the break room) I don't know he Peyton you on speaker phone and Jay is here now.
J= hey Peyton what's up
PS= well ever since you guys left this morning the kids have been pretty much asleep which is kind of weird since they i'm pretty energetic kids
E= oh yeah they are
PS= anyways whenever they are awake they're only eating a couple bites of food which is weird so I've been checking their temperatures it's been going up each time
J= have any of them gotten sick yet
PS= yeah a couple times
E= oh man that sounds bad
J= let's go tell Hank
E= yeah we should be home soon Peyton anything changes call us
PS= all right( hangs up in hanks office)
HV= come on
E= hey Hank sorry to bother
HV= it's no problem
J= anyways Peyton just called us and told us the kids are super sick
E= they are nonstop sleeping only eating a little bit and throwing up also their temperatures keep going up
HV= explain no more go be with your kids
J= all right thanks hank
HV= no problem just update me
E= we will
We hurry up and grab your stuff and head home we arrive home within 10 minutes
J= hey Peyton we're home
E= where are you guys
PS= we are in your bathroom
E= ( in the bathroom) oh my poor babies
J= what was their temperature last time you checked them
PS= I just checked them and they all were at 102.9
E= wow that's high
J= let me go call my brother
E= all right

WH= hey jay what's up
J= okay first question are you at home
WH= no sadly I am at work
J= oh man okay next question is are you busy at work
WH= not at the moment why do you ask
J= well the kids have been tired and sleepy all day, also they barely ate anything, they are throwing up also their temperature is high like 102.9
WH= wow that's high you and Erin need to bring the kids to bed right now me and Natalie will be waiting for you
J= al right thanks ( back with Erin
E= what did he say
J= he said we should bring the kids to med him and Natalie will be waiting for us
E= all right let's go
We get the kids changed and dressed we say goodbye to Peyton and head off to med, we Arrive within 10 minutes
J= hey Maggie were is ...
ML= he is ready for you guys in trauma bay 4 him and Natalie are set up for you guys
E= all right thanks
ML= no problem ( in the room)
J= hey will hey Natalie
NM= hey guys let's get these kids feeling much better soon
E= yes please
WH= hey kids me and aunt Natalie are going to check you out and hopefully get you feeling a lot better soon
Well and Natalie start checking out all the kids and throwing some blood about 10 minutes later the kids are finally asleep again as we went on the test results. about an hour later they come back in
NM= hey guys how are we doing
E= I think we are feeling better
WH= Well that's good to hear
J= so what did the test say
NM= first of all what they had isn't that bad or serious
E= that's good to know
J= so what do they have
WH= they have aloe kind of RSV
NM= we caught it pretty early so it doesn't affect him that bad
E= that's good to know
J= so when can we go home
WH= well you guys can't go home today
NM= just because we need to keep a closer eye on the kids overnight
J== all right that works for me
E= same
NM= all right we will check in on you guys later
WH= call us if you need anything
J= we will brother
E= say bye-bye To aunt Natalie and uncle will
CN= bye uncle will
PJ= bye aunt Natalie

WH= feel better soon ( they leave)
Once they leave Erin call Hank to update him on what's going on with the kids. Once she was done talking all of us just laid in bed trying to rest talk to you hours later will comes back to check on us
WH= hey guys how are they doing
E= I think they are finally turning a corner and starting to feel a little better
WH= well uncle Will and aunt Natalie love to hear that so I got a question for you guys
J= sure what's up
WH= did you guys call Hank and the team because they all are in the waiting room for some reason
E= well I called him to tell me what's going on with the kids but I didn't tell him or the team to come here
J= that's weird do you want me to go see what's going on
E= maybe but I kind a want to two but the kids..,
WH= I can keep an eye on them if you want to go see what's going on
J= are you sure will
WH= yes I am besides they are sleeping now how hard is it to watch the kids while they are sleeping
E= that's a good point

In the waiting area
E= hey Hank what are you doing here I don't think I said to come to the hospital at all in my conversation with you earlier
HV= you didn't Erin
J= okay so why are you in the team here in the waiting room
KA= well turns out why Adam wasn't at work today was
VR= because him and Haley were having their baby
E= no way the baby is born
AD= we don't know yet
HV= we just got a text saying to come to med because Haley is in labor
J= wow that's amazing

J= and when was he born

E= he seems so tiny how much did he weigh and how tall is he
HU= he weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and he is 22 inches long
J= wow he's going to be tall
AR= oh yeah
E= so how long were you in labor for
HU= I say about 10 hours
VR= well that's not too bad
We hang out with I don't Haley for a little bit then me and Jay decide to go back to our kids while everyone else leaves to go back to work. We noticed when we get back to the room the kids were a lot better we stayed until about lunchtime the next day and then was able to be discharged, On the way home we stopped and grab some lunch and enjoyed being home with all three of the kids . The kids get better within a week and a half
Authors note: The day baby Ashton was born with February 25 I hope you like this chapter I tried my best to do some kind of medical tell me what you think. Also I know it's a very long time from now but can you guys please give me an idea for Haley and Adams next baby name which will start with the letter H. Same with Kevin and Vanessa's baby I would like the name to start with a K but I'll be OK with anything .
