Jay's POV; it's been a couple weeks since my birthday, I was so happy that Erin decided to plan a little vacation and visit up to the cabin for us and the kids. It's what we all needed ember hit a couple milestones while we were there which or she started to crawl and she said her first word which happened to be dada that made me so happy. Right when we got back I started to baby proof the house and she is now crawling all over the place. Ember is nine months old and she is keeping us on our toes. It's a couple days before Mother's Day and today after work Erin went out with Vanessa so I decided to take the kids with me to go to the store to get Erin A gift for Mother's Day
J= so kids what should we get mom for Mother's Day
CN= A card and candy
PJ= how about a necklace
J= of course we can get her a card Camryn maybe some candy
CN= make it a big card
J= oh yeah a big card Camryn and Porter we could get her a necklace too
We go and look for something to get for Erin we spent about 20 more minutes in the store then we head home. On the way home I decided that I didn't feel like cooking so I picked up some fast food and headed home. About two hours later after the kids eat I gave them all a bath and put them to bed, about another 15 minutes later Erin comes home
E= hey baby i'm home
J= (put a finger to mouth) sssh I just put them down about 15 minutes ago
E= oh sorry I didn't know that
J= it's all right so how was it hanging out with Vanessa tonight
E= it was fun nice to have a mom's night out
J= that's good
E= we ended up seeing Haley there too so we all hung out together
J= that's good
E= so how were the kids today
J= they were good especially when I took him to the store to grab a few things
E= well that's good so please tell me you cook something for dinner because I am starving
J= well sadly I didn't cook
E= oh man that sucks
J= but I however did pick up some fast food on our way home and there is some leftover food in the microwave for you
E= oh man you're the best
J= yeah I know that
Erin eats her food while we catch up and watch a movie, after the movie was over we decided to head off to bed. A couple days later it was Mother's Day so I woke up before Erin and the kids so I made some breakfast for Erin . I was able to get it done right before the kids woke up so once I was done I go and get the kids up before I Bring the breakfast to Erin

J= good morning sweetie did you sleep well last night
EG= dada yes
J= all right let's go get your sister and brother ( Smells a stinky diaper) But first let's change you
Once I change her diaper I head into Porter room
PJ= daddy
J= hey buddy did you sleep well
PJ= yes I did daddy
J= that's good are you ready to go get Camryn
PJ= yes I am
J= all right let's go
PJ= okay ( in Camryn's room)
J= good morning baby girl
CN= Porter, ember, daddy
PJ= CAMMIE
J= did you sleep well last night
CN= yes I did
J= that's good are you guys ready to go get mommy and give her your presents
PJ= yes we are
J= all right follow me
CN= okay daddy
They follow me to the kitchen as I grab the breakfast that I have sitting on a tray for Erin and then we head into our bedroom
J= ready guys
PJ= yes
J= all right ( Open the door) happy Mother's Day mommy
E= oh my God how sweet are you guys
CN= mommy I got you candy
PJ= and we got you a big card
E= I can see that guys thank you very much
CN= you're welcome ( hugs her)
E= I love you sweet girl
J= we got another present for you
E= you did
PJ= yeah daddy can I give it to mommy
J= yes you can Porter here it is ( Hands it to him)
PJ= here you go mommy
E= why thank you Porter you are so sweet
PJ= you're welcome
E= ( she opens it) wow this is beautiful Porter thank you
PJ= your welcome mommy
J= The best part is that the necklace has all of the kids birthstones in it
E= that's perfect
PJ= daddy I'm hungry
CN= same here
J= all right ember go to mommy while I go and grab everyone else's breakfast
EG= momma
J= wait did she just say
E= I think she did ember say that again say mama
EG= mamma
E= Best Mother's Day ever
I go and grab me and the kids breakfast, we all eat our breakfast in bed we finished breakfast within 20 minutes. After we were finished I go finish the dishes while the kids hang out with Erin. I come back after 15 minutes
J= so how is it going
E= it's going perfect thank you very much
J= you're so welcome ( kiss her ) so I know it's your Mother's Day but can we maybe do something
E= of course we can what do you have in mind
J= I would like to visit my mom at the cemetery today
E= jay of course we can
J= why thank you babe
E= you're welcome how about after ember's morning nap we can go
J= that works for me
We watch a movie with the kids for a while then ember goes down for her nap while we play with the older two about an hour and a half later ember wakes up so we get dressed and head out toward the cemetery but first we stop by and I grab some flowers
E= why do you have two bouquets of flowers
J= well One of these are for you babe happy Mother's Day
J= Jay you are so sweet I didn't need anything else besides you and the kids
J= I know but I thought why not get you some flowers
E= why not
J= you're welcome let's go
We head off towards the cemetery we arrive within 10 minutes we each got a kid and head off to my mom's grave stone,
E= it looks like someone is there
J= yeah it does ( looks closer ) it will, Natalie and the kids
E= oh yeah ( get to the grave stone) hey guys
NM= hey Erin happy Mother's Day
E= same to you Natalie
WH= hey Jay I guess you had the same idea as me
J= I guess so it's been too long since I've been here last
WH= I bet so when was the last time you were here Jay just wondering
J= I think when Camryn was first born
WH= wow a long time then
J= what about you when did you come here last will
WH= i'm thinking right when I started dating Natalie
E= wow that's such a long time ago
WH= oh yeah
NM= Erin how has your Mother's Day gone
E= it has gone so perfect what about you
NM= same here
WH= well we will get out of here so you can spend some time with mom
J= you don't have to go will
WH= it's no problem
NM= we have been here for a while anyways
WH= besides we need to go see Natalie's mom for Mother's Day
E= all right see you guys
NM= see you
WH= bye mom jay he's here so good luck with your least favorite son
J= whatever
OM= bye aunt Erin
E= bye Owen ( they leave)
J= I hate to mention this to Will but I was a mama's boy boy we hung out a lot all the time while dad and will hang out and did their own thing
E= so you were a mama's boy who would've guessed it
J= is that hard to believe
E= not really so say hi to your mom
J= hi mom sorry it's been too long since I've been here but happy Mother's Day ( puts the flowers down) so mom let me introduce you to my wife Erin and Erin this is my mom eden halstead
E= eden nice to meet you I wish you could see how great of a man he is and especially how wonderful father he is to our kids
J= speaking of our kids here they are, we have Camryn then Porter and The one that's crawling all over you is miss ember I hope you are so proud of me and are watching over your grandkids
E= I believe she is watching both you and well and is so proud of you guys for being such an amazing father and husband
We stay and hang out with my mom for about an hour and then head home to celebrate Erin more. Later that night after the kids go to bed me and Erin snuggle in bed together
J= so did you enjoy your Mother's Day
E= yes I did thank you
J= you're very welcome also thank you for letting me go visit my mom today
E= you're welcome I finally learned your mothers name and I like it very much
J= you do that's good
E= yeah maybe in the future when we have another daughter we could maybe name her Eden
J= you would want to do that like name our daughter after my mom
E= of course we already named Camryn after my mom why not name her other daughter after your mom
J= okay all right we can do that if you want
E= good
We end up falling asleep pretty fast after a long day of celebrating Erin
Authors note, I know they have visited the cemetery in the past in the chapters but Erin never went over to Jay's mothers grave site until now, for story sake I hope you like the name I gave to mama Halstead , sorry this chapter was a little short
