Erin's POV: it's been a couple weeks since we had a joint gender reveal party with Natalie and will , and found out that we both are having a boy this time around. I can't believe we are finally having a boy when we got home he also learned that we weren't just having one boy but we were having two boys. I can't believe we are having twin boys I hope they look just like Jay. Right now I am 18 1/2 weeks pregnant and the boys have been kicking me all a lot over the last week. We had Camryn's third birthday party couple weeks ago and she had the best time ever. Right now it's a morning time and I am slowly waking up
E= you can stop staring at me anytime you want creep
J= I can't help it my wife is so beautiful especially since she is kind my two wonderful sons in her belly
E= how sweet are you but it's still very creepy
J= anyways good morning babe
E= good morning babe ( kiss)
J= so how did you sleep
E= not too bad just your sons wanted to kick me a lot during the night and waking me up to Pee
J= oh so they're mine only if they keep you up all night
E= oh yeah
J= sorry about that
E= it's all right so has any of the other kids woken up yet
J= no they have
E= that's good
J= oh yeah especially since it gives me time to do this ( starts kissing her neck)
E= Come on Jay the kids might wake up any second
J= well I better be quick then
E= ( starts to undress them) wait a second jay
J= what's up
E= I really got to pee ( jumps up)
J= really Erin mood changer
E= sorry baby
J= it's all right I'll go start making breakfast then
E= all right ( 5 minutes later) again sorry about that both of your boys were kicking my bladder at the same time
J= it's all right I was kind of getting hungry myself
E= like always but I'll make it up to you later
J= i'll hold you to it
E= figured so but what are you cooking for breakfast
J= just pancakes and eggs
E= that sounds good
J= at least it's our day off today
E= that's a good point so now I got to change out of my pajamas today
J= well technically that's my shirt that you're wearing has your pajamas
E= well for one it's only thing that fits me because I'm a lot bigger than I was with both of the girls
J= maybe because there is two of them in there also this is your third pregnancy
E= and lastly I like to wear your shirts a lot more because they're so comfy to wear and they smell like you which helps me sleep better
J= well that's good to hear maybe today we will go shopping for more of my T-shirts and stuff for you to wear
E= all right ( hears the kids ) i'll go get them while you finish up breakfast
J= all right
While jay finishes up breakfast I go and get the kids up I change ember diaper and we all head out to eat or breakfast about 20 minutes later
E= Way to go on breakfast babe
J= why thank you are you kids done eating now
PJ= yes we are daddy
CN= can we go play mommy
E= you sure can kids ( they leave)
J= how about after ember has her morning nap we go shopping for some clothes for you
E= all right that sounds like a plan to me but for right now I'm going to go clean up
J= all right
I go and do the dishes with Jay plays with the kids about 30 minutes later Jay puts ember down for her morning nap then we both play with the older two kids while she naps. About two hours later we get all the kids ready and head out to the store
J= so who's driving today me or you
E= i'll drive as long as I can still fit behind the wheel
J= all right
E= which may be sooner than later
J= no it won't babe you look great
E= why thank
J= no problem let's go
We get in the car and start heading to the store we passed by some car places
E= oh my god
J= what's wrong babe
E= nothing major but I just realize something
J= you did what is it
E= well since we are driving we have passed by a couple car places and I look at the backseat right now and I realize we don't have any room for the twins coming back there
J= ( looks back) oh man that's so very true why didn't we realize that anytime sooner
E= maybe because we were in this stage of being shocked than happy about having twins boys we didn't think much about it
J= oh yeah we never thought about the bigger picture
E= right well the only good thing is we have a bigger house to bring these twin boys home to
J= that's a very good point baby after we get done shopping we stop and just look at some cars today
E= all right that sounds like a plan to me
We head to the local mall and do some shopping for me and also decide to get the kids a few things and grab a few things for the twins. A couple hours later we stop at a car dealership
DS= hey folks how may I help you
J= hello me and my wife are looking to find a bigger car
E= we need it since we are getting ready to add two more babies here soon
DS= well first of all congrats
J= thank you sir
DS= you're welcome and call me Trent
E= all right Trent so I'm Erin And this is my husband Jay and these are my kids Porter, Camryn and ember
DS= well nice to meet you also is there any certain kind of car you guys are looking for
J= no not really
DS= do you plan on trading in your car or just find another
E= I think we will just buy another car so we can have a back up just in case
DS= that's very smart so first question how does a minivan sound
J= no way no offense Trent
E= but we aren't the type of people to drive a minivan we both are detectives for the Chicago police
J= and our unit would make us the laughingstock of the district so a hard pass on the minivan
DS= it's no problem and it's totally understandable so let's move onto the SUVs
E= sounds great to me
We start looking at cars with Trent we soon realize we need a car that has three wheels in it
J= I kind of like the Nissan Pathfinder
E= I like the Kia Sorrento
DS= would you like to take them both out on a test drive
J= yes we will let's start with the Nissan
DS= All right here is the keys Jay
E= actually Trent in this family I always get the keys to the car
J= she is the only one that gets to drive
DS= oh I see here you go Erin
E= why thank you let's go kids
PJ= all right mommy
We take each car out for a test drive for 30 minutes each to see how it feels to drive in it
J= so now that you drove them both which one do you like better
E= to be honest I like the Nissan way better than this car there is so much room in it drive smoothly
J= couldn't agree more so have we found a car
E= yes we happy
J= all right let's go tell Trent
DS= so have you guys made a decision between the two cars
J= yes we have
DS= Great which car
E= we chose the Nissan Pathfinder
DS= Great choice let's go make a deal
We follow him and go make a deal with him but an hour later we get done with the paperwork and sale now the car is officially ours.
J= so I'm guessing I have to drive the old car right
E= oh yeah but at least be happy that you get to drive again
J= that's a good point also by the way I got a text from Will while we were test driving and sending the paperwork he invited us over to have dinner
E= all right then let's head over there because I'm starving
J= who is the hungry one now
E= i'm only hungry a lot more because I'm carrying two halstead boys
J= whatever you say let's go
The kids in the parting with Jay he arrives at Will and Natalie's first
WH= hey Jay thanks for coming
J= it's no problem we were close by and besides we were hungry anyways
NM= where is Erin at jay
J= ( see her) well here she comes
WH= wait did you guys get a new car
E= yes we did
NM= it's a very nice car but why did you get a new one isn't this car still working pretty well
J= it is Natalie
E= But we realized today that our car isn't big enough to add another car seat so we bought a bigger car to fit it
NM= well that makes sense
WH= it looks nice
J= well come check it out brother
They both come check it out and then we all head inside to eat dinner and hang out. We catch up with them for a little bit and then we all head home to put the kids to bed. After we put the kids to bed we put all the new stuff we got at the mall away and decided to head to bed ourselves.
