Jays pov; it's been almost 2 months since me and Erin found out that not only are we adding one boy to a family but we are having adding boys into our family I am so unbelievably happy to finally have a boy not that I don't love my girls but I am so ready to have my sons so I can be a better father to to them than my father was the me and will, right now Erin it's about 22 weeks pregnant and she is doing amazing the kids are also doing great we both are at work finishing up our paperwork

HV= well since Christmas is in two days I got the all clear to give you guys the time off until the new year how does that sound

J= well I would say we should go home for kids and spend as much time as we want with them

We all head home and get to our kids and we tell Peyton she can have a three week vacation which she was happy about the break that she will be getting, The rest of the night we just hang out with our kids
J= good morning babe

J= it's 830 right now
E= wow are kids let's us to sleep in for once
J= yes they did including these two ( touched her belly)
E= thank God I slept pretty good last night
J= that's good to hear so since the kids are still asleep why don't we have a little bit of Scrabble fun
E= oh I like what you are thinking but to add to the fun why not play scrabble in the shower
J= I like the way you are thinking mrs halstead
We both head off to the shower and enjoy a nice steamy round of scrabble together, about 30 minutes later we we're done with her shower and we're laying in bed

E= it's Hank he wants to know if we would be up to coming to his house for breakfast since he is making it right now

As Erin gets dressed I go and check on the kids who happened to be awake when he walked into the room, how do you say to just change Ambers diaper and let the kids go in their PJs to Hanks house within 30 minutes we are on the way to Hanks. On the way to Hanks house my phone all of a sudden rings

WH= just wanting to ask you a question
E= sure can what's up will
WH= so since we went to the cabin for Christmas last year I think me Natalie and the kids want to go again this year and we also want to keep this a tradition to go to the cabin every year
J= that sounds like fun
NM= so we were wondering if you guys want to join us again this year
E= we actually have time off until the new year
NM= wow so did we that's awesome
WH= so what do you say would you guys like to join us at the cabin for Christmas yet again
J= umm hold on will hey kids how would you guys like to go up to the cabin
E= And hang out with uncle Will Aunt Natalie and your cousins Charlotte and Owen
PJ= yes daddy
CN= I want to play with Charlotte

NM= I guess that's a yes
E= oh yeah
WH= that's great to hear so I have one more question for you Jay

WH= so since you and Dad are starting to talk again would you mind if I invited him to join us up at the cabin
E= sounds fun the kids would love to have their grandfather there too
NM= we thought so too

J= well I guess our relationship has gotten better over the last few months so I guess that's fine with me
NM= that's good news
WH= oh yeah especially since I already invited him please don't be mad
J= no it's fine will
NM= all right we will be heading up here in a few hours
E= all right we will join you after we have breakfast with Hank and get our stuff together

J= yeah I think it will be fun

We had inside and eat breakfast that Hank made for us
J= that breakfast was amazing
E= yeah thanks for cooking and inviting us over for breakfast
HV= it's no problem besides I'm happy to see my grandchildren who I haven't seen in a while

HV= so since you guys have a couple weeks off are you planning on going anywhere for Christmas or staying home this year

E= we were going to enjoy a Nice Christmas at home with the kids
J= but on the way over here my brother called and asked if we would join him Natalie and the kids and my dad up at the cabin for Christmas again this year, and we accepted their invitation
HV= well that's good to hear are you guys going to stay up there the whole time
E= I think we are going to stay until the new year
HV= that sounds good
We stay at Hanks house for about another hour and a half then we leave once ember search to get tired so we head home and get ready for our road trip down to the cabin
Erin pov; it's been almost 2 months since we found out we are having twin boys it's crazy I finally get to have my boys I've wanted for so long. So far this pregnancy has been going pretty great considering that I am carrying twins, right now I am 21 1/2 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good. Yesterday he gave The whole unit a couple weeks off for Christmas. Will you plan on staying at our home and enjoying a nice little Christmas at home with the kids but then will and Natalie Called and invited us up to the cabin again, which we so graciously accepted their invitation. But after we had breakfast with Hank we headed home to get everything ready for the trip up to the cabin. Luckily as we were getting things ready the kids took a nap for a little bit, Once everything was loaded up all the kids woke up so we got in the car and headed to the cabin we arrived within 2 1/2 hours which included a stop to grab some lunch
E= looks like will, Natalie, the kids and your dad are already here
J= yeah it does let's get inside first say hi and then later I'll come grab our bags
E= all right kids How do you to go see your cousin uncle Will Aunt Natalie and your grandpa Pat

We all get out of the car and head inside

NM= so how was the drive up here guys
E= it wasn't too bad
J= we only had to stop to buy some food and Erin how to pee

WH= so you guys only had to stop once

WH= i'm surprised it wasn't more we had to stop four times for Natalie to Pee and get a snack

NM= you are smelling chicken Parmesan it's almost done
E= that's good I'm starving let's go wash our hands kids
J= and hey will why don't you help me carry our stuff inside while they do that
WH= all right I'm coming
As me and the kids go wash your hands well and Jay bring in our stuff into our room. We all eat the chicken Parmesan that Natalie made over the next few days to play outside in the snow and have a great time together. The kids woke us all up early on Christmas to open the presents that Santa got them. The kids got everything they wanted and spent the next few days playing with their new toys now it's new yeas 's eve Morning

J= sorry my bad if I think my wife is the most beautiful when she is sleeping
E= whatever my sweet husband
J= you love it though
E= yeah maybe (feels a chill) oh man why is it so cold in here all of a sudden
J= I don't know let me go check outside (gets up and look) well looks like we had a major snowstorm last night
E= oh yeah ( walks to him) wow we really did have a snowstorm last night
J= also the temperatures are in the negatives today
E= I guess we are staying inside today with the kids
J= oh yeah are you still cold
E= yes I am
J= while the kids are still sleeping why don't we go have a nice long hot bath together maybe that can warm you up
E= oh yeah I hope so
J= and if that doesn't work maybe we can play scrabble I know that can warm you up for sure
E= oh yes it will
We ended up enjoying a nice in long hot bath it help warm me up a little bit but we ended up going for a round or two scrabble and that for sure help me be warm again We spent the rest of the day playing board games and cartoons with the whole family later that night all the kids went to sleep and we all countdown to the new year together in the living room
NM= all right guys I'm tired so I think we are going to head up to bed
E= all right night Natalie and will
WH= Night guys( they leave)
PH= i'm gonna follow their lead and head to bed myself
J= all right Night dad see you in the morning
PH= all right ( he leaves)
E= since they are all heading to bed we should too but I'm not tired yet so I have an idea what we can do instead of sleep
J= oh I love the way you think let's go
We head off to our bedroom and play a couple rounds of Scrabble again, then we fall asleep for a while but then I wake up because I have to pee once I get done using the restroom I go and look out the window within five minutes I feel two hands wrap around me
E= hey you
J= why aren't you in bed
E= i'm out of bed because one of your boys wanted to kick me and make me have to use restroom
J= so it's my boys if they make you have to pee in the middle of the night
E= oh yeah besides I wanted to look out the window for a few
J= yeah it looks pretty great out there
E= Yes it does also since I've been staring out this window I can't help but smile about out year we have and what is to come this year
J= yeah this year has been pretty amazing
E= First thing that happened this year but you got to reconnect with your dad
J= I guess that's a good thing
E= ( slaps him) that is a Great thing jay
J= okay anyways Second was Porter is officially ours which he never anyone else's
E= and last thing that has happened this year once we found out we were having twin boys
J= this year has been pretty amazing beyond my expectations
E= couldn't agree more next year will be better because we will have these two boys in our arms
J= I can't wait but maybe now that we are getting closer to meeting these boys maybe we should start to come up with their names sooner than later
E= that's a good point maybe here in the next few weeks we will figure their names out
J= oh yeah now it's time to go back to bed
E= all right
We head off to bed , we spend the last few days with Jay's family and get back to work life by the end of the week
