Erin's pov; it's been 2 1/2 weeks since we came back with my baby moon at the cabin. It was nice to have a weekend away from the kids and just spend one on one time with Jay. While we were at the cabin we came up with the boys names which are Jaxon and Jonah. We can't wait to meet them here soon. Right now I am 33 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty great. last week I started staying home because I have had more pain to my back and feet lately. Right now Jay's at work and the kids are asleep so I am just relaxing on the couch
J= hey babe
E= hey you what are you doing home so early
J= well with it being so cold out the criminals didn't want to come out and start crime and we were just sitting around doing paperwork so Hank decided to send us home for the day
E= well that was nice of him
J= yes it was so how are the kids
E= well right now they are sleep but they should be up here soon
J= that is good to hear so how are you feeling today
E= not too bad my feet still hurt
J= how about I give you a foot massage while I tell you about my boring day
E= sounds perfect to me
J= all right hand those feet over ( she does)
History tells me about his boring day at work he loves me tire bead about 30 minutes later the kids wake up surgery goes to get them and make some food for all of us
E= you know what I have been thinking about all day
J= what is it babe
E= since we have about seven weeks left until the babies come we don't really have anything for them
J= really that's surprising
E= I know tell me about it
J= maybe because we have been so busy lately
E= yeah maybe so since you came home early I think maybe we should go to the store and go buy the things we need for these boys how does that sound
J= do you know what that sounds perfect
E= oh wait let me go Pee and get dressed and we will head out
J= all right kids eat up
PJ= okay dad
I go pee and change into something more comfortable then we head out to bye-bye baby store to get the things we need for the boys we arrive within 20 minutes
J= so we are here where should we head into the store first
E= I say we go look at cribs first since we need two of them
J= good idea let's go ( heads inside and goes to the crib section) So what crib do you like this time around
E= I think we should get more of a masculine kind since it's for boys
J= good idea ( starts looking)
SW= hello folks how may I help you
E= hello we are looking for the things we need for twins that we are going to be having soon
SW= well first of all congrats
J= why thank you
SW= Second of all have you found a crib you like yet
E= I like this one I just wish it was more like a darker color since it's going to be for twin boys
SW= well I got good news for you
J= you do
SW= Well we have this crib in a midnight blue in the back
E= you do that's amazing do you happen to have two of them
SW= yes we do
J= that's perfect
SW= I bet you guys need a rocking chair also
J= yes we do
SW= how about this one
E= this will work perfectly
J= totally works so where to next babe
E= I say we go to the stroller area next
J=all right let's go ( in the stroller area)
SW= So is there any kind of trouble you want or don't want
E= well I don't really want like a wide stroller
SW= totally get what you mean you want something skinny and not something that will take up much room
E= oh yeah
SW= how about this one
J= this looks cool
E= is it light weight
SW= why don't you see for yourself
J= all right ( he lifts it up) that's pretty light babe I think Porter could pick it up himself
PJ= can I try
E= ( laughs) not right now buddy maybe later
SW= anything else I can help you with folks
J= no I think we are good
E= yeah we will just shop around for a few
SW= all right I'll have your stuff up at the register when you guys are ready to check out

We keep shopping for about another hour longer than we get our things and check out. We head home and just relax after a day of shopping
Jay's pov: it's been about three weeks since me and Erin spent a long time at the cabin which was needed so much for us. While we were up there we decided on a twin boys names which are jaxon and Jonah, we can't wait to meet them here in about six weeks or less. A couple days ago since I had a half a day and since Hanks and his home me, Erin in the kids all went to the store to buy the last few things we need for the boys. Right now I'm on my way home from work and I plan on getting the boys is quips in dressers built. I arrive home within 20 minutes
J= hey babe I'm home
E= hey we are in the boys room
J= ( walks in) hey guys wait what are you doing babe
PJ= hey daddy
CN= daddy is home
E= what I'm working on building their clothes what else does it look like
J= I get that but I was on the way home to do that since you...
E= since I was what Jay finish what you were going to say
J= i'm just saying you are in a very fragile state with you being this far along in your pregnancy
E= I understand that but I still am capable of building things
J= I know my bad I just wish you could've waited for me
E= well I was kidding bored and tired of looking at it so I just got started to build them about 30 minutes ago
J= well it looks like you haven't gone too far into it how about I go order some Chinese food and come back and start building this with you
E= sounds like a plan
J= all right do you want our usual or something different
E= are usually but maybe more lo mein noddles
J= coming right up
E= all right
I go and order the food as we wait on the food to come we get started on building the crib. The food arrives about 30 minutes later then another 30 minutes later we have both cribs and dressers built and eat our food.
J= wow teamwork makes the dream work
E= tell me about it we are the ultimate dream team
J= don't tell Kevin or Adam this they might get upset about it
E= oh yes they would
J= ( phone rings) hold on Will is calling
E= okay put it on speaker
J= all right ( he does) hey will what's up by the way you're on speakerphone Erin is here too
WH= hey Erin I hope I didn't call at a bad time like I hope you guys aren't busy or anything
E= no we aren't busy we were just kidding thanks built and done eating
J=why what's up
WH= well how would you guys like to come to the hospital and meet your newest nephew
E= wait Natalie had him
NM= yes I did
J= wow congrats guys
WH= thanks Jay so would you like to come meet him unless it's past the kids bedtime
E= it's almost bedtime but we can make an exception for today
J= oh yeah we will be there shortly
WH=all right I'll have Maggie know and bring you guys up when you get here
E= all right see you soon ( hangs up)
J= wow that's crazy
E= I know kids are you ready to go meet your cousin
PJ= yes can't wait to meet him
CN= same here
We all load up in the car and head off to Matt we arrive within 20 and head inside to see if we can find Maggie
ML= hey guys are you ready to see him
E= yes we are
ML= all right follow me
J= okay
ML= ( knocks) are you guys ready for some visitors
WH= yes come in guys
E= oh my gif he is so cute
NM= thanks Erin
E= may I hold him

E= hi buddy I'm your aunt Erin
J= he looks so little
WH= yeah he was he weighed 6 pounds even
E= well that's small look at those eyes they are so green
J= oh yeah they are
NM= which is perfect since he was born on a very special day which happens to be St. Patrick's Day
E= oh my God I totally forgot today was St. Patrick's Day
J= that's a good thing he is half Irish then
E= does he have any hair or not
NM= he has hair for sure
WH= but the cool part is this ( takes his hat off)
J= it's red hair no way
WH= tell me about it both my kids have so red hair
E= that must make you happy
NM= oh yeah he is so happy about that

WH= all right Erin and jay I would like you guys to meet your nephew Maverick Alexander halstead
E= oh I love that name
J= Wait Alexander as in my middle name you named your son after me
NM= yes we did jay
J= wow I feel so honored
WH= well I wanted his name to have some meaning so I thought why not name him after the greatest man I know my brother
E= oh that is so sweet guy so how did labor go Natalie
NM= it went pretty easy
J= wow that's good
We spent about an hour with Will and Natalie, then we let them enjoy their time alone with their baby. On the way home we stop and grab ice cream to celebrate the newest nephew into our family. When we get home we take the kids to bed
E= everyone is down
J= I say they sugar crash
E= oh yeah but it's been a long day
J= oh yes it has
E= so can you believe Natalie and will had their baby finally
J= I know it's crazy
E= also I love that name they chose
J= same I can't believe they wanted to name their son after me
E= I don't if they didn't already take the middle name of Alexander I would've loved to name our next son after you because you are a pretty amazing man
J= why thank you

J= now I am more than happy that we named Jonah after will
E= couldn't agree more I guess you guys have the same idea
J= oh yeah we did
E= ( something clicks in her mind ) wait a second
J= what's up babe
E= I just realized that now that Natalie has given birth it's now my turn
J= well yeah I can't wait to see these boys
E= but that means I have to push two babies out not just one
J= you just now realize that
E= ( slaps him) yes I did it's going to hurt like hell
J= maybe you should get an epidural this time around since you are going to be giving birth to two babies
E= I don't know I'll think about it
J= all right then
E= I say you take me to bed because I'm tired
J= you got it let's go
We head off to bed over the next few days we get the stroller put together and get the car seat into the car now we wait on the boys to come here soon
Authors; I hope you like the name I chose for Natalie and wills baby. I know they just had this baby but I want to start planning on the next two babies so if you could come up with two names for a boy and a girl I would like them to have the first initial be a W Or a N thank you in advance. Episode thoughts on the latest episode of Chicago PD: it was a Kevin centric episode which was good he had a love interest but she not being a bad person in the end she hasn't gotten arrested yet but I guess that's good. Also I wish we could've heard to talk between Jay and Haley about what happened but of course they didn't let us know what it is.
