Erin's pov: it's been a couple days since I keep her to our twin boys jaxon and Jonah what should I decided to come on Jay's birthday, which makes me so happy because now all my boys are born on the same day. Everyone was shocked at first when we told him that we were keeping a secret that we were actually having twins and not just one baby. But they were all happy to have another boy to join the family
Since we have been home with the boys the older kids have been taking turns holding their brothers. Porter likes not being the only boy in the house anymore, me and Jay haven't really slept much since the twins have came home right now the girls and twins are i'll take a nap while Porter is at school.
E= have I told you lately how much I love nap time
J= no but I love it too
E= and thank God for coffee again
J= tell me about it I would have to deal with five cranky kids and one wife without caffeine that's not good
E= no it wouldn't, to think we thought one newborn was hard to get to sleep
J= but twins is way harder to get to sleep
E= so how long did you think the boys or girls will be sleeping for the nap
J= well the girls will sleep for about two hours I don't know about the boys let's hope the same amount of time
E= let's hope so how did it go with dropping Porter off at school today
J= it went pretty well he can't wait to tell his friends and teachers that his brothers were born
E= oh man his poor teachers he will be talking their ears off all day today
J= I bet they are used to it by now
E= ( looks at her shirt) I wonder which boy pee is on my shirt and from what day they Peed on me
J= Who knows maybe both of them in maybe all the days
E= I guess changing voice is a lot different than changing girls
J= oh yeah but we will learn so we don't get Peed on all the time
E= let's hope so, well since the kids are napping I'm going to go jump in the shower real fast if that's fine with you
J= of course go get in the shower I'll make some more coffee
E= Oh man you know the way to my heart
J= of course I do
I go hop into the shower for a few minutes while the kids are napping still and jay makes another pot of coffee about 10 minutes later
E= oh man that shower felt good
J= I bet it was too bad I couldn't join you
E= yeah too bad about five more weeks and then you can join me again
J= oh man these weeks can't come fast enough
E= tell me about it so are the kids still asleep or not
J= nope they all are still sound asleep
E= that's good maybe since the kids are sleep maybe we should lay down and try to sleep for a few before we have to get up and go get Porter
J= yeah that's a good idea let's go
We lay down on the couch together and end up falling asleep for about an hour and a half and then we all wake up and the kids wake up
E= i'll go get the boy
J= all right I'll get the girls
E= okay good luck
J= ( in ember's room) there is My....(sees her standing up in her crib) ember grace what in the world are you doing
EG= I don't know
J= of course you don't let's get you changed and then get Camryn and go see mommy and your brothers
Within five minutes I am feeding the boys in the living room when she comes out of the girls room
E= oh look boys there are your older sisters and daddy
CN= hey mama
E= hey baby how did you sleep
CN= I slept pretty good
E= that's good
J= do you need any help there
E= no I think I'm gonna be sad I bet the girls are hungry
J= good point let's go grab something to eat girls
EG= yes I'm hungry
CN= all right daddy
E= what time is
J= it's about 10 o'clock
E= that's good we got an hour until we need to go pick up Porter
J= oh yeah just enough time for everyone to eat
E= and time for another cup of coffee
J= that is for sure
Me and Jay feed the kids and get some coffee and our systems, about an hour later everyone is done eating and we are all loaded up in the car and on our way to get Porter
E= i'm glad at least one of the kids get to get out of the house every week so we don't have five kids in the house all the time
J= oh couldn't agree more oh I forgot to mention this earlier but guess what
E= you did what is it
J= so when I went into ember's room guess what she was doing
E= what was she doing
J= she was trying to climb out of her crib
E= no way
J= oh yeah
E= I guess we need to lower the mattress down to the floor
J= oh yeah
We arrive at Porter school Jay goes in to get him while I wait in the car with the other kids about 10 minutes later
PJ= hey mommy
E= hey buddy did you have fun at school today
PJ= yes I did
J= I guess he couldn't stop talking about his new brothers today with his teachers
E= Oh man I bet his teachers love that
J= they did all right buddy buckle up Porter we are getting ready to go back home
PJ= all right daddy
E= actually I have an idea
J= you do what is it
E= well when you were inside I was thinking since we were out we should go visit the guys at the district and show The boys the bullpen
J= I think that's a great idea kids do you want to go see grandpa Hank
CN= yes grandpa Hank
PJ= also uncle Kevin
E= of course we will see uncle Kevin let's go see everyone
We head off to the district we were within 15 minutes me and Jay decide to make it easier on us to take the boys in the stroller when we enter the district we see platt first
P= wow so the rumors are true
J=hey platt
E= yes they are true we had twin boys would you like to meet them
P= of course I would
J= so the one in the first car seat is mr jaxon reed
E= and this guy right here is Mr. Jonah William
P= oh my god they look so perfect
J= they are
P= I think Jonah looks like Jay
E= I said the same thing
J= so did everyone else
E= so is the team upstairs are they out working a case
P= as far as I know they are upstairs
J= All right kid say bye to Sergeant Platt we are heading upstairs
PJ= bye sergeant platt
CN= bye platt
EG= bye bye
P= bye see you kids later
We head upstairs
KA= so everyone we want to share something with you guys
E= hey guys
J= I hope we aren't interrupting anything
VR= of course
AR= hey there's the people who decided to hide a baby on us
J= don't tell me Adam you're still mad at us about that
HU= he is not mad I promise
AD= so how is it going there with five kids
E= its rough
KB= I bet how is sleep going
J= what is that because we aren't getting any
HV= I bet
CN= grandpa Hank ( runs to him)
AR= can we get back to Kevin and Vanessa's news they were wanting to share with us
E= wait you haven't told them yet
KA= no we haven't
VR= we wanted to wait a few more days so that we didn't take the happiness away from you guys
J= that's nice of you
AR= Wait Erin and jay knows the secret that's not fair
KA= we told them when we went back to visit them the other day
VR= and besides they can keep a secret
HV= oh yes they can
KB= okay guys enough with the suspicion please tell us the name
KA= all right tell them babe
VR= So I hope Ashton is ready to add you and I will play me because me and Kevin are pregnant
KA= and we know that we are having a boy
HU= no way congrats guys
VR= thanks Haley
KB= so I'm guessing you are in your second trimester since you already know the gender
VR= oh yeah I am 18 weeks along
AD= congrats Kevin

HU= so I know we are celebrating Kevin and Vanessa news and all but we got two very cute boys that I would love to hold right about now
E= of course who else wants to hold one we got two of them ( everyone laughs)
All= we do
Everyone takes turns holding both boys we stay for about two hours before the team catches a case so we decided to head out
E= wow it feels nice to be out of the house for once
J= oh yeah and the boys did so well
E= yes they did
J= well since they did so well and they still are do you mind if we stop one more place before we head home
E= of course we can where to
J= let's go see Nadia Camille Justin and my mom
E= Great idea let's go
We head off to the cemetery in away within 20 minutes, we decide to go say hi to Jay's mom first as we are walking toward her grave stone we noticed that somebody else was arriving to it
PJ= daddy who is it
J= I don't know buddy
E= hello ( person turns around) oh my hey Pat
J= hey Dad what are you doing here
PH= well hello guys and I'm here to tell your mom about her newest grandkids
E= I guess you had the same idea as us
EG= hi grandpa
CN= grandpa Pat
PH= how are my grandkids doing
J= they are doing okay
PH= and how are you guys doing now that you have five kids
E= we are beyond tired but overall pretty great
PH= that's good so I'm guessing the boys aren't sleeping much
J= no they aren't not longer than maybe an hour
E= oh yeah tell me about it
J= did you say anything yet to Mom
PH= all I said to her so far was hi because I just arrived
E= well that's good
J= hi mom it's your favorite son Jay
PH= you better not let well here that he might get a little jealous
E= that he will
J= so sorry I haven't been back here in a while work has been busy also me and Erin we're busy getting things together to meet our twin boys
PH= yes Eden you heard him right he had twin boys but he didn't tell anyone until they were born
E= sorry about that I thought it would be fun to keep a secret like that
J= and it kind was
E= I wonder if will already came by
PH= he said he did when I talk to him the other day
J= that's good so I bet you're happy to have three grandsons all at once
PH= I bet if she was here she would tell you boys about how you guys can't do anything without each other
E= oh yea
J= that's funny you say that because I said that same exact thing a while back
PH= that is funny well I came to say hi to your mom I'll let you guys spend time with her see you guys later
E= all right say bye to grandpa Pat kids
PJ= bye grandpa Pat see you later
CN= bye grandpa
PH= bye guys
J= bye dad( he leaves)
E= that was nice of him
J= yeah anyways so Mom I would like you to meet your grandsons
E= The first one that was born was jaxon reed halstead that his brother Jonah William halstead was born seven minutes later
J= The two best part about them being born is one Jonah is my twin for sure
E= I can tell you that is the truth I thought ember look like him but then Jonah was born and it was totally the same person
J= The second best part which is pretty cool is even though they are twins they share a birthday with someone else which happens to be me
E= I love it that all my boys are born on the same day which is pretty cool
J= I bet she would be happy with that too
We stay at Jay's mom's grave stone for about an hour then we spent about another hour at Nadia's Justin's and Camille's grave stone. And then it was time to head home to feed the kids and get them down for a nap overall our first outing as a family of seven went pretty well I just hope it goes as well each time we go out
