Erin's POV; it's been a couple weeks since we helped Adam out where he thought Haliey was cheating on him but luckily she wasn't. Jay has been back at work for almost a month so that means I have been home with all five kids by myself for that long, which it hasn't been too bad with me and all five kids by myself, Porter Camryn and ember have been the best they play well together. The boys started to sleep longer stretches throughout the night but haven't really slept fully throughout the night they are about 2 1/2 months old right now, they have been smiling more and more each day they are close to rolling over. Today I have my check up with my doctor to get me cleared for work and other things I decided to go by myself so right now I am waiting on the nanny to come watch the twins and the girls for a couple hours , ( knocking on the door
E= hey Peyton please come in
PS= hey Erin how is it going
E= well it's going
PS= I can see that so did you get any sleep last night
E= A little bit but not much
PS= hopefully it gets better soon
E= let's hope so I hate to do this but I got to leave you with these fussy babies before I'm late for my appointment
PS= it's no problem go ahead
E= all right thanks Peyton
PS= it's no problem say bye to mommy Camryn and ember
BG= bye mommy
I leave and head to my appointment I arrive within 20 minutes I get signed in and wait five minutes before I get called back to the room the nurse takes all my vitals then leave so I can wait on the doctor to come in another five minutes later. ( knocking)
ED= hey Erin
E= hey doctor
ED= so how have you been feeling
E= not too bad I wish I had more sleep during the night but overall it's not bad
ED= so I'm guessing the boys haven't slept through the night yet
E= no they haven't they are up to sleeping four hours then they wake up
ED= wow so let me check you out and we will talk in just a second
E= all right
She checks me over as I just laid there five minutes later
ED= so everything looks good
E= that's good to hear
ED= so I can clear you for work
E= my boss/father will be happy to hear that
ED= I also can clear you to be able to have sex again with jay
E= now I think jay is Will be more happy to hear that than anything
ED= so now that you have five kids how would you feel about getting on birth control
E= I don't know I haven't thought about it at all
ED= well I hope you don't mind me asking this question but do you and Jay want to have any more babies
E= no I think we are good we have five kids all of a sudden within 3 1/2 years maybe later down the line but right now I think we are good
ED= Well with birth control it could prevent you guys of accidental getting pregnant again and say jay doesn't want to wear a condom
E= You make a good point there doctor um you know what that sounds great I'll do the birth control
ED= all right glad to hear I will go get it I'll be back here in a few minutes
E= all right
the Doctor leaves and goes in waves the birth control while I just lay on the table waiting for her within 15 minutes the Doctor comes back and puts the birth control inside me, then I get changed and leave my appointment then I decide instead of going home right away I go and stop by the district to visit I arrive within 20 minutes
P= hey Lindsey
E= hey platt
P= so where is the mini Erin and chuckles at
E= they are at home with the nanny I needed a couple hours by myself without being around them
P= well I don't blame you there
E= so are they upstairs or are they out working on a case
P= nope they are upstairs probably doing paperwork like usual
E= all right I'll head upstairs see you later Platt
P= all right see you later ( heads upstairs )
AR= so who's turn is it to do all the paperwork so we can get out of here early
E= well I think I can speak for everyone Adam but I think it's your turn always
J= couldn't agree more with her
AR= hey that's not fair she's your wife
KA= I agree with Lindsey
AD= same here
KB= oh yeah
AR= what is this ganging up on Adam day come on Haley please tell me you are on my side
HU= i'm on your side always
AR= why thank you
J= hey babe what are you doing here anyways
KA= where is the little halstead at
E= what am I chopped liver you guys only like me when I have all the kids with me
KB= not true at all
VR= but where are they
E= they are at home with the nanny while I had an hour or two by myself unless you don't think I should have an hour to myself
HU= of course you can have that time to yourself
HV= hey kid what are you doing here today
E= well I came to see everyone also I came to give you this ( pulls out a paper and hands it over ) my doctor cleared me to come back to work again
KA= yay we can't wait to have you back
HV= yes same when do you want to start back again
E= how does next week sound
HV= that works for me
AD= glad to have you back Erin
E= thanks Antonio
AR= ( Whispers to Haley ) do you think it's time to tell anybody now)
KA= what are you guys talking about over there
HU= Well since Erin is coming back to work next week me and Adam have something to tell you
KB= what's up guys
AR= well we are happy to say that Ashton is going to be a big brother here soon
E= wait no way that's awesome
VR= congrats guys how far along are you
HU= I am about 10 weeks along
KA= wow congrats Adam
AR= thanks guys
J= it's no problem having two kids is amazing
We all congratulate Haley and Adam on them getting ready to have another baby, I never staying for about an hour and right when I was getting ready to leave Hank decided to let everyone else leave for the day too so me and Jay got to go home together
PS= look kids mommy's home
E= hey guys look at us ( shows them jay)
CN= daddy is home ( runs to him)
J= hey princess were are you good for Miss Payton
CN= yes I was
E= Well that's good to hear thanks again for watching them for a couple hours 10
PS= it's no problem I love your kids they are amazing
J= well they love you
E= also I wanted to let you know that I will be starting back to work next week so
PS= you'll be needing me starting next week then
J= yes
E= so enjoy your time off and we will see you next Monday
PS= all right I will see you

E= are you girls hungry

J= all right let's make you some food
Jay makes us some food we eat then we hang out with the girls and the twins for a little bit before it's time to go pick up Porter from his school, once we put put her up from school we headed to the local park to let the kids get their energy out, once we get to the park we happen to run into somebody
KB= hey guys
E= hey Kim what are you doing here
KB= we just wanted to take a walk
CN= hey Aunt Kim
EG= auntie
KB= hey there are my favorite nieces are you guys being good
PJ= yes we are
KB= well that's good
J= hey kids why don't you go run off and play while we talk with Aunt Kim
CN= all right daddy
PJ= let's go girls ( they leave)
E= so Kim who is this handsome man that you have around your arms
KB= well this guy is Blair Williams and we have been dating for a couple months now
BW= Nice to meet you guys I heard so much about you guys
J= I hope good thing
E= Nice to meet you Blair
BW= oh yeah the best things
J= that's good
E= I can't believe Kim you were able to hide that you had a boyfriend for this long
KB= Well I have been taking the slow but I think you shortly I will have him meet everyone else
J= good luck with that

BW= so I have seen pictures and looking at your kids I can see that they are just beautiful

J= thank it looks from Erin

J= whatever
We talk with Kim and Blair for a little bit and and then they leave, we stay at the park for a little while and then head somewhere to eat dinner and then go home to put the kids to bed about 45 minutes later all the kids were in bed
E= I think they are all finally asleep
J= let me guess the boys didn't want to go to sleep
E= no they didn't but they finally settle down enough where I can lay them down to start falling asleep soon
J= well they haven't been this hard to put to bed since they were first born
E= oh yeah tell me about, can you believe Kim has hidden a boyfriend from the unit
J= I guess that's how the unit works because we didn't know anyone was dating anyone until we met them
E= oh yeah I guess we didn't get the memo about hiding our relationship from everyone
J= no we didn't but we both work in the same unit so we couldn't really hide it much
E= no we couldn't but I guess everyone knew day one that we would be together no matter what so it's not like we couldn't hide our relationship at all
J= I guess not I kind of knew I liked you from the very beginning
E= oh really you knew from the beginning that you loved me
J= yes I did what about you when did you start falling in love with me
E= I wish it was from the beginning but it wasn't until Charlie came around and you wanted to attack me from him that's when I started to really realize that maybe I do like you more than just a friend
J= well I will always protect you from anyone no matter what
E= and that's why I love you ( kiss )
J= I love you too so are you ready to go back to work
E= I kind of am I hate to say it but I miss work and not have to deal with kind kids all day long
J= I don't blame you there besides you aren't a person who likes to be a stay at home mom anyways
E= no I don't I don't know how they do it to be a stay at home mom I would be bored out of my mind by the middle of the day each day if that was my life
J= Who knows I guess they just do it
E= yeah I guess so while I was at the doctor she cleared me for something else
J= oh she did what did she clear you for
E= well she cleared me to play scrabble with my sexy husband again
J= oh she did well that's good to hear
E= yes I can't wait to give you this kind of birthday present that you deserve
J= Me either I say let's go to the bedroom and enjoy doing scrabble again
E= before we go have fun playing scrabble can I talk to you for a second
J= okay I hope nothing is wrong
E= no nothing is on it just when I was there the doctor asked me if I wanted to get on birth control this time
J= oh really
E= yeah well I decided to get on it because having five kids is a lot and I think we need to take a break from having kids back to back like we did
J= that makes sense
E= so you aren't mad that I got press control without talking to you first
J= oh Erin first of all it's your body second of all I think having five kids is a lot too and we really don't need another one right now
E= OK that makes me feel a lot better now I also did it for you in a while because this means you don't have to wear a condom if you don't want to
J= well thanks for thinking of me you are very sweet
E= why thank you
J= so let's go to the bedroom then
E= Actually want to go all the way into the bedroom with this couch is pretty good to play on besides I kinda want to jump your bones ever since I seen you with the girls tonight just been the cutest girl that ever
J= oh really
E= yes really
We start to play scrabble in our clothes start to come off when all of a sudden crying comes from the boys room
J= are you kidding me
E= I guess they don't want to sleep just yet
J= I guess not but why now we haven't done this since before they were born
E= I know it sucks but get over it I'll go get them we will try again another time
J= all right
I go and get the boys and we hang out with them until they fall asleep for good this time. We decided not to play scrabble that night but when we finally did one day within the next week it felt nice to meet that connected again, now we got to get used to our lives will definitely change with the twins when it comes to playing scrabble
