Erin's POV: it's been a little month since we went on a little vacation getaway for anniversary and embers 2nd birthday Which we were happy we did after all we decided to invite Jay's family and hang to come celebrate ember with us and it was great in the end, Right now Porter is in kindergarten and he loves it the twins are growing each and every day their financial they are working on setting up right now. Camryn is going to preschool a couple times a week and she has loved it ever since. So that leaves in any of only three kids most of the week so it's been pretty easy work for her. And work hasn't been too busy lately so that's another good thing. Right now we are at home with the twins and ember

J= come on voice you are almost sitting at by yourself you got this
E= and. Almost I bet in the next couple weeks they will be sitting up all by their selves
J= yeah same
EG= here mommy have some tea
E= why thank you ( pretends to drink it) oh my this is so good here daddy why don't you try some too

E= can you believe how calm and quiet is in here with just three kids
J= I know tell me about it Her new three kids would be more quieter than having all five of them here

E= Let's hope not so also how crazy is it that here in a few days Porter will be turning six years old

E= I think since we only have these three kids we should head to the The store and get Porter some birthday presents
J= I think that's a good idea we also need to grab a few things for his birthday like food and other things
E= oh yeah how about you go get the kids ready while I go and make a list of the things we need for Saturday

Why don't you take the kids and get some dressed I look over and see what we still need for the party on Saturday within half an hour we are headed off to the store. I've got a couple hours later we get everything we needed and decide since we are out and about to go and stop by the district to say hi on our day off

E= hey Platt how's it going
P= Not too bad I see you got about half the kids with you today
J= yeah Porter and Camryn are at school right now so it's easier with just three of them

E= so are they upstairs or are they out working on a case
P= they are upstairs probably doing paperwork

We had upstairs and noticed that the guys are goofing around

J= well we went to the store to cut Porter some birthday presents since his birthday is coming up in a couple days

J= So we decided while we are out we would come and say hi to you guys

E= well speaking of being a home where are you at home Vanessa you were getting close to giving birth anytime now so how much longer again
KA= we are due in about an hour

KA= I think it will be never if I have anything to say about it

HU= I think it will be fun to wait and see what we are having until we get birth
J= do you at least know if it's only one or are you hiding that it's twins like we did

HU= and if it would have been twins you guys would find out because Adam would be dead and maybe in a liver or like
KA= that is for sure
HU= And if we did hide it twin thing like you guys did it wouldn't last long because of Adam is someone who cannot keep a secret for the life of him

HU= well we came to say hi but I think we better go because we got food in the car that needs to be in the refrigerator
J= oh yeah you guys are coming to the party on Saturday right
KA= of course I can't wait to celebrate that little boy of yours
KB= oh yeah do you mind if I bring Blair to the party
E= of course not in besides even if you shoot up at her house on Saturday with him not on your arm I would have you go get him and come back

We leave the district and head home to put away our groceries we put the kids down for a nap while we just relax and watch a movie. One Porter and Camryn get home we just hang out with them the rest of the night

Jays pov; it's been a month and a half since we took a random and short trip to the cabin for our anniversary and sweet embers second birthday we also decided to invite my family and Hank along with us which wasn't that bad we all enjoyed the little visit to the cabin and being around each other. carmyn started to go to school about a a week or two ago Chanley goes about two times a week but she has loved it. The twins are five months old and growing each and every day. Today is quarter birthday and he is turning six years right now I am just laying in my bed waiting on either the kids to wake up or Erin about five minutes later

E= ( wakes up) morning babe
J= good morning sunshine
E= whatever dork so has the girls the twins are even the birthday boy woken up yet
J= no they haven't woken up yet just us
E= well that's good
J= why did you ask do you have something in mind do you want to do
E= maybe some early morning scrabble
J= I love the way you think babe ( starts kissing then here's the boys crying) Oh my God me and my birthday buddies need to talk talking about the timing because they're always the ones who are interrupting our scrapple time

J= oh it is we are still having a talk but let's go get them

We head off to get the boys before they wake the others but we were a little too late because the girls woke up next, then Porter woke up so once we got the boys we got the girls and then went into his room

J= good morning girls ( see embers)
E= ember Grace what in the world are you doing
EG= I want it out of my crib
J= we can see that but you are supposed to wait on me or mommy to come and get you
CN= she has been doing this almost every night and then Klein's back into her quib to go to sleep
E= ember that's very dangerous to you understand that

J= I think it's time we get her big girl bed
E= couldn't agree more we will go to the store here in the next couple days to get her one

J= so I'm getting ready to fix breakfast would you like anything special for your birthday breakfast

While I go and make some breakfast Erin plays with the kids about an hour later we get done eating and put ember in the boys down for a little nap, I do the dishes while Erin, Camryn and Porter start getting the party set up once it all is set up we hung out with them until the little ones woke up and the party stars. About two hours later the guest starts showing up
E= hey guys
NM= hey Erin
WH= hey brother where is the birthday boy
J= he is chasing Camryn around
NM= oh boy kids why don't you go find your cousins
CE= all right mommy ( they leave)
WH= no where is Lil Jonah at
E= i'll tell you where he is if you hand over my maverick boy
NM= well here you go ( hangs him over)
J= and will both boys are in the living room just laying on their play mat

E= I guess we are chopped liver
J= oh yeah let's go say hi to other guest

BW= same here Is this one of your voice because he has gotten so pick since I've seen him on the
J= actually that's our nephew Matt like our boys are with my brother and my sister-in-law we traded boys once they got here
KB= that sounds like fun
BW= what does that mean about you listening to her finally that I heard when we walked up
KB= The other day I finally told everyone about you and I asked Erin if I could bring you to the party today
E= and I told her if she didn't show up with you on her arm then I would send her way to go get you and come back
BW= wow really
E= good thing your girlfriend listen to me or else she would be in trouble
KB= well Erin and jay i'm no longer his girlfriend
J= oh no don't tell me you guys spoke up
BW= oh nothing like that it's more like we are now engaged
KB= he proposed to me the other day

As Erin And Kim chat I read the rest of our cast an hour later it was time to sing happy birthday to Porter and open all his birthday presents he which he loved he also had help opening them by his little sisters and his cousin. Everyone stayed and chitchatted for a few hours and then everyone decided to go home we hung out with the kids for a few then we decided to put the birthday boy and the girls down for bed while we just hung out with the twins in the living room

J= what are you staring at sexy
E= this photo we took last year when we adopted Porter
J= oh yeah wow that's crazy it's been a year since his last name became our last name
E= I know tell me about it ( turns around) but you know what else happened a year ago today
J= what is that
E= well it's when I told you I was pregnant with these boys over there
J= back then we thought it was only going to be one more baby
E= But we were in for a shock my life's a few days later when we were in that we will be adding two more perfect babies to our family
J= oh yeah
E= what a year it's been added three more kids officially into our lives
J= this year has truly been the best year of our lives ( kiss her)
E= couldn't agree more I say we put these boys to bed since the others are asleep already
J= Great idea but first I need to have a talk with them because I don't need a repeat of what happened this morning
E= oh come on Jay it wasn't that bad
J= oh it was ( to the boys) All right boys me and mommy love you so much we don't mind if you want to wake us up but when we are in the middle of playing scrabble please stay asleep and don't interrupt us
J= Jay they don't even know what you're saying to them
J= I think they do come on let's put them to bed now

We take the boys into the room and read them a story and soon they fall asleep

E= and they are asleep
J= let's hope they stay asleep
E= if not it will be fine
J= well then I guess we better get to playing scrabble before anything happens

I pick Erin up and carry her into our bedroom to start playing Scarble, luckily for me the boys understood What I meant because they stayed asleep the whole night so we were able to play a couple rounds of scrabble and then fall asleep and each others arms being happy that this year has changed our lives for the best
