Erin's pov: it's been a few weeks since Porter's sixth birthday it's crazy we got a six year-old now he has been the sweetest voice since the day Jay buy him home from that scary house that he was in, I guess he was our missing piece that we needed back then because he has been the best part of our family, carmyn is getting ready to be three years old next month which is crazy the boys are 5 1/2 months almost 6 months old which is beyond crazy at this point all the kids need to stop going up so fast, right now me and Jay are at work doing the last of our paperwork for the day
AR= can anyone please finish this paperwork for me I don't know how much longer I can stare at these papers
AD= come on Adam it's not that bad
J= hey it's your own fault you let the paperwork to build up like that
E= You got to stay on top of an atom so it doesn't get that that
AR= oh my god why do you always pick on me where is Kevin when I need him please Haley back me up here
HU= Babe I have to agree with them besides at least you get to get out of here and talk and chase down people I am stuck behind this desk because you decided to give Ashton a brother or sister
AR= why are you blaming me for that
HU= yes I am babe
AO= oh man Adam if I wish you I would take blame and do my paperwork and shut up
J= well Erin are you done with your paperwork because I am
E= yeah I am done let's go see our kiddos
J= all right let's go.

We leave and say goodbye to everyone and putting plat once we get in the car jays phone starts to ring
J= hello
KA= hey Jay it's Kevin
J= hey Kevin we missed you today because we all gang up on Adam again
KA= oh man I guess I missed out today
J= oh yeah hold on let me put you on speaker
E= hey Kevin happy anniversary to you and Vanessa
VR= why thank you Erin
J= so did you guys do anything special for your anniversary
KA= well we did something
E= you did what is
VR= well you have to come to the hospital to see what we did
E= wait are you guys saying that you had your son
KA= yes we are why don't you guys come to Matt and meet your godson
J= of course we would love to
E= we will be there in 10 minutes
VR= all right see you guys soon ( Hangs up)
E= oh my god that's crazy
J= tell me about it let's go meet this little bit

We head off to med to meet our godson and we arrive within 10 minutes we go inside and find Maggie to tell us where Vanessa and Kevin are
J= hey mags where is Kevin and Vanessa located
E= we want to meet our godson
ML= well for one he is just the cutest little baby ever and they are on the fourth floor room 407
J= oh boy thanks mags
ML= you're welcome
We head upstairs abs find their room
E= knock knock Vanessa Kevin where is my little godson at
VR= hey Erin hey Jay come in
J= hey Kevin congrats man
KA= why thank you Jay
VR= look son it's your godparents
E= oh my god he's so cute can I please hold him
VR= of course you can here you go Erin ( hands the baby over)
J= oh my he looks so big
KA= well he was 9 lbs. 9 oz.
E= oh my I bet it was a hard labor for you Vanessa with how big he is
VR= it wasn't too bad
KA= and she did it all naturally
J= what a badass
KA= yeah she is
VR= he was born about 2 o'clock
E= wow so what is our godson's name
KA= well we couldn't decide between two names but once we met him we knew his name right away
J= oh really what is it
VR= well Erin and jay meet your godson mr. Korbin James Atwater
E= Korbin that is such a good name
KA= why thank you
J= have you guys told anyone else about little Korbin
VR= no we haven't we will here soon
KA= we just want did you guys to meet your godson first
E= well thank you
VR= you're welcome also now we have something in common
J= we do what is it
KA= well besides us having girls first
VR= we both now have A baby born on out anniversary like you guys do
E= oh yeah that is so very true
J= Believe me when I say this will always be the best anniversary gift ever
KA= oh we will it's been the best anniversary so far just because we got to meet our little Korbin
VR= couldn't agree more
We hang out with Kevin and Vanessa for a little bit longer like when we were getting ready to leave a knock came at the door
KA= come in
ML= hey guys are you guys up for one more visitor
VR= of course we are awake babe you never called any of the unit besides them too right
KA= no I didn't
E= maybe they got smart enough and figured it out themselves
J= or maybe they followed us
VR= oh God I hope not
GM= hey mind if I come in and say hi
E= wait what in the world mouse
J= what are you doing here mouse
KA= Great to see you mouse
GM= same here Kevin and Jay to answer your question I'm here because I heard that Kevin was getting ready to have his second kid and I wanted to come meet the baby
E= don't blame me there
J= but how did you know that the baby was going to be born today
GM= I might have tracked Kevin and Jay's phone
VR= no way are you sure
E= please tell us you're just joking mouth
GM= I am joking I had to come to Med something and I overheard the nurses Taco Bell the cutest little Atwater so I talked to Maggie and she told me where I could find you guys
VR= well that's nice of Maggie
E= crazy that the nurses gossip that much
KA= oh yes so mouse would you like to hold this little man
GM= of course I would ( hands over the baby) so what is this little man's name
VR= well mouse meet Mr. Korbin James Atwater
E= he is our godson
GM= hey little man how are you I'm your uncle mouse I think I'll become your favorite uncle
J= not a chance his uncle Jay will be his favorite
KA= let's hope he at least likes Adam or else Adam will be very upset
We all hang out for about an hour and a half and then we leave Kevin and Vanessa to be alone with her son. We invite mouse back to our place and he said he would love too once he goes somewhere fast and then he'll meet us at our house
J= hey kids were home
PJ= yea daddy's home
EG= daddy's home ( runs to him)
CN= mommy ( runs to her)
E= hey Cammie Bear sorry Peyton sorry we were late our friends Kevin and Vanessa had their son today
PS= oh my that's amazing to hear so what is his name
J= the little man's name is Korbin James Atwater
PS= oh what a perfect name well I'll let you guys enjoy your night and see you tomorrow

E= I think since Mel will be coming over soon maybe we should just order something I don't feel like cooking right
J= couldn't agree more I go order some pizza
E= all right me and the kids will be here waiting on you

Jay goes to order the pizza while I play with the kids about 45 minutes later knocking comes at the door
E= thank God the food is here i'm hungry
J= i'll get the door.
E= all right
GM= ( opens the door) did someone order a couple pizzas
J= hey mouse you finally showed up and great timing as I can see
GM= yeah I paid for it since I showed up at the same time is the pizza delivery man so can I come in and eat this pizza do you guys where am I going to be out here
J= of course you can babe look who finally showed up
E= hey mouse I guess you showed up just in time
GM= I guess so
J= kids are you ready to eat some pizza
PJ= I love pizza
CN= same here
EG= pizza
E= How are you go wash it before dinner then guys
CN= all right Mommy
EG= okay ( they leave)
GM= they are so cute
E= yes they are
We all eat our dinner about 30 minutes later we are done eating and the kids go off and play in their room until bedtime, then we put them down for bed about two hours later
J= oh man these kids
E= I know tell me
GM= let me guess they don't want to go to bed tonight
J= oh yeah they wanted to hang out with their uncle mouse
E= oh yeah I was about two seconds away from calling you into the room mouse to at least try to calm him down
GM= oh how cute
J= it's so cute they love you they wish you could come in town more often to visit them
GM= well speaking of that I have some news
E= you do what is it mouse
GM= well I got a job offer back here in Chicago
J= you did mouse where at
GM= well how would you guys like it to have me working with you guys again
J= no way are you serious now
GM= yes I am very serious
E= that's amazing I can't wait to work with you again
J= same here does anyone else know about you coming back yet
GM= well I think Platt or Hank knows since they are the bosses but I only told you guys so far I'll tell the others maybe tomorrow
E= wow everyone would be so excited that you are back
J= so how soon will you be able to start working
GM= The beginning of next month so while I'm in town I'll look for a place to live
E= well good luck with that finding a place

The rest of the night we watch the game together that is on while we catch up with mouse about two hours later me and Jay head off to bed while mouse sleeps on the couch. The next day everyone learns the happiness that now so we back working with us again next month they are all excited for it, it's now been a couple weeks since then and it's time for yet another doctors appointment but this time all the kids are scheduled at the same time so me and Jay got today off right now I'm laying in bed snuggled into him
E= why did we decide to schedule all the kids appointments on the same day
J= we thought it was smart to get all the kids at the same time so we don't have to go back to the doctors within a few days with each kid
E= oh yeah that makes sense to make it easier on us
J= what time is the appointments again
E= The appointments are at 11 o'clock what time is it now
J= it's about 930 babe
E= oh man that means we have to get up soon to get ready to go
J= oh yeah but maybe we have enough time to maybe play scrabble
E= we may have time only if we get a shower at the same time
J= Erin Lindsay are you saying nice to me
E= OK first of all Mr. it's Erin. Halstead not Erin Lindsay don't you forget it
J= oh I never could forget ( kiss her neck)
E= and second of all I might be saying you stink but why not get cleaned and enjoy your favorite game
J= that is so very true and you're such a very smart woman
E= so I have been told
Me and Jay went out to the shower and enjoy a nice steam you out in a scrabble We were done with the shower within 20 minutes once we were out of the shower we both got dressed while Jay goes and make some breakfast while I go check on the kids to see if they are awake yet ( In porters room)
PJ= hey mommy
E= good morning buddy did you sleep well
PJ= yes I did
E= that's good how about we get you dressed and you can eat some breakfast that Dad is making while I go get your siblings how does that sound
PJ= sounds great
Porter picks out his own clothes for the day then get stressed after goes and go out some breakfast ( in the girls room)
E= good morning girls
CN= mommy
EG= mommy where is daddy
E= well morning guys and Ember girl daddy is in the kitchen making some food let's get you dressed so we can go see him
CN= all right mommy
I get the girls dressed and ready for the day and we head out to the kitchen
J= there are my girls
CN= hey daddy
EG= dada dada
E= someone didn't care about mommy this morning when I walked into the room she only wanted her dada
J= oh will you come here princess ( picks her up) She really is a daddy's girl
E= that she is i'll get the boys will you guys start to eat breakfast
J= all right
I go and get the boys and get them dressed for the day then give them their bottles about in a half an hour later everyone was done eating so we clean up and head out the door to get to the kids appointments on. When we were we split up and get all the kids paperwork filled out, about 15 minutes later when we were done with the paperwork we get called back to the room now we're just waiting on the doctor to come in
KP= hey there are my favorite kiddos
PJ= we are that's cool
J= I bet she says that to all her patients
KP= ( whisper ) I do but anyways how is everyone doing
E= we are doing great
KP= that's great to hear so I guess it's a check up for all of you
J= oh yeah please tell us we aren't the only crazy ones who bring all their kids to an appointment all at once
KP= no you guys aren't crazy I have several parents that has more than one kid and do all the kids appointments at once
The doctor takes a look at all three of the older kids first takes about 10 minutes and then she starts checking on the twins
KP= so How has it been having twins
J= it's not too bad the kids love having two brothers
KP= have they slept through the night yet
E= they are so close that they wake up once but they go back after one book that we read to them
KP= Well that's good to hear so my next question is any of them sitting up on their own
J= not that I have seen
E= I noticed a little bit but Our nanny said that they sit up on their own all the time when she i
KP= well let's see for ourselves ( sits them both up and we watch them for a couple)
J= look at them go
E= Way to go boys
KP= well since they can sit up on their own I can say they can officially start solid foods now
J= wow that's cool
E= well we are at that stage already
KP= oh yeah so here is comes the least favorite part of the appointment for everyone
PJ= what is it
KP= it's where I need you to be the most sweetest boy ever for your sister and brothers can you do that Porter
PJ= yes I can't Dr. Robbins
J= that's my boy
KP= what I am actually talking about is ( whispers) s-h-o-t-s for everyone
E= oh boy how many for each
KP= for the older three only one and for the twins they each need to get two
J= oh man that sucks
E= thank God you are here I don't think I could've done this all on with all five kids babe
J= wouldn't wanna be anywhere else
KP= ( knocking) well that's my cue to leave so that I am not the bad person when the kids come to see me next time so see you guys later
E= see you later dr, Robbins
N= so who's going first today
PJ= I am on going to be the brave one
N= all right race boy
The nurse gives the order through the shots likely only Ember crying but she calm down when she got into Jay's. Who won the Twins got their shots it was hard to watch but once I pick them both up they settle down right away so we're not staying in the room little longer to get the kids to calm down a little after a few minutes they all were calm down enough to leave the doctor. We decided since the boys can start solids we should go to the store and grab some food for them also grab a couple high chairs about two hours later we get everything we needed at the store for the boys and for the house that we were low on. When we got home we laid the twins down and played with the order three for a while couple hours later Jay started cooking dinner and the boys woke up on their nap so we decided to try the salad food tonight
J= so what food should we try first
E= how about butternut squash
J= all right what are you boys ( they feed it to them in way a few seconds)
E= I think they like it
J= yeah I think so ( two seconds later they puke on jay) come on not again why do they always puke on me
E= they like me more
J= I guess let me go shower and maybe we will try again later
E= all right babe
I let the boys well me and the other three kids eat dinner about 40 minutes later the kids were done eating so they went off into the room to play and Jay got done eating too.
J= hi certain smell them all cleaned up what do you say about we try this again
E= yeah let's go ahead and try again
J= have you decided what to try next
E= no I haven't how about you get to choose this time
J= all right ( grabs something) ready boys
E= what did you grab
J= hi grandpa broccoli and banana
E= let's see if they like it. ( sits down) Open up boys
J= let's not get sick on me again
E= ( see something) wait a second
J= what's up babe
E= I thought I saw something in Jaxsons mouth
J= you did what is it
E= ( shows him) wait here he has two teeth coming in
J= wow jaxson that's awesome maybe I should check Jonah
E= oh yeah
J= ( checks him) oh my God he has two teeth coming in also
E= well you guys are hitting a couple milestones all at once
J= oh yeah let's eat
Me and Jay feed the boys their banana and broccoli food they actually loved it after they were done eating we put them into the bath since they got messy. The older kids also got a bath about 45 minutes later me and Jay started to lay the kids down for bedtime. about 30 minutes later
E= those girls and Porter are sound asleep
J= same with the boys
E= Man today was a long day
J= oh yeah tell me about it hopefully everyone sleeps well tonight
E= yeah let's hope so maybe since they all got shots they will be asleep all night long
J= oh yeah let's hope so
E= I still can't believe these boys are growing up so fast
J= I know they are now eating like everyone else
E= oh yeah
J= I can't believe they got sick on me why can't any of our kids get sick on you when they didn't like the food
E= maybe they know how much I like seeing you shirtless all the time
J= yeah maybe
E= how about I make it up to you with a couple rounds of scrabble to end the night
J= oh you are so on
jay picks me up and we go into our bedroom and we play a couple rounds of Scrabble then we soon fall sleep and get ready for this new journey with the boys and eating solid foods.
