Advance: Hey everyone, here we are with a fate story made by yours truly. I also decided to say fuck it cause I can't keep sitting on these chapters I made and went over.
Angel: Now before we get into this new story made by us, a fair warning.
Devil: If there are points where it doesn't add up to the original fate is because we changed it or don't care...
Lust: So Don't complain about it, but If you want to say that we are incorrect and say what's true then by all means go right ahead. Might be very enlightening for others.
Advance: constructive criticism is appreciated like always, if you're just going to complain then don't comment at all, then again nobody is stopping you...
Angel: This is Advance, people are going to complain no matter what even to the smallest detail.
Devil: Also *Looks the readers dead in the eyes* We write these stories purely for our own entertainment, sharpen our own writing skills, or simply because we can't find any good Fate stories except a rare few.
Advance: *Looks at his personalities a little worried* uhh ya, anyways with that said and done, please enjoy. Also I don't own the Fate Series obviously...
"People die when they are killed" - The smartest comment alive.
I could only stare in fake shock as I watched Camelot burn down to the ground. Bodies of Knights and citizens were scattered all over the place as the smell of ash and blood entered my nose making my stomach lurch and the feeling of bile rose up to my throat.
Holding myself back I slowly swallowed the bile and rubbed my throat. My body was unconsciously shaking as I feared for what happened here, but I knew why It happened and felt responsible for not trying hard enough to stop it, but it was inevitable...
With a shaky breath I started walking deeper into the battle field. There was the occasional groan and cries of pain around me, but I didn't pay any attention to them for they weren't my problem, these people were going to die anyways, there was no point to saving them.
I was only here for one person and she was the only thing that was family to me. Scanning the area I found a hill and my worst fears came to life. Feeling myself get light headed, I rushed up the hill and the moment I reached the top of the hill, my knees shook causing me to collapse as I stared at the scene before me.
'King Arthur' layed down on the ground with a familiar spear covered in blood laying beside her, I knew exactly whose blood it was and it only made me angry at the person before me.
I knew who King Arthur really was and will never accept it. King of Knight, more like Queen of Knights, sounds way better to me honestly.
Slowly approaching the body of the 'King' I kneeled down and saw her eyes were shut, making her look so... peaceful, the side of her that I never got to see, matter of fact, nobody got to see...
I don't know what came over me, I should be angry at this so called King... but I just couldn't be angry, she chose this path and understood what's going to happen.
So with a shaky breath I spoke. "I'm so sorry... mom, I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen too me... but why? Why did you push her away, she was your daughter... I want to be mad at you, but I just can't. I understand why she couldn't be the person to lead Camelot." I took a another shaky breath and looked around. "But I still hate you for pushing her away and thinking she doesn't exist, nobody was willing to give her any true love except for me, because she is my sister and I care about her..."
Reaching out I stroked Arth- Atroria's hair. Her smooth blond almost gold hair reminded me too much of what could have been if she accepted my sister as her daughter... or Son, whatever the hell ran through people's head.
I lowered my head and was about to move away, but a hand stopped me from moving. My body froze as I slowly looked down to see the 'King' herself looking at me.
"Mom!" I quickly reached down and lifted Atroria to a sitting position who coughed into her armored hand. I hugged the female tightly causing her to gasp in pain making me release her. "Sorry!"
The... Queen looked at me and just stared. I stared back and lowered my head. I can still feel the tears ready to slid down my face. But the feeling of something soft pressed against my forehead caused me to look and see Artoria kissing me on the forehead.
"It's OK Ark..." I let out a dry chuckle at what my mom called me, she barely knew me yet she knows my name, that dick wizard probably told her. Morgan may have given birth to me, but I saw Artoria as my true mother even though she was no better since she too didn't acknowledge me, but I prefer the Queen over that wicked witch.
"To think the dick wizard would name me that..." I mumbled as I slowly wrapped my arms around my mother who I can tell greatly hesitated but just as slowly hugged me back. It was gentle and soothing. I never really got to hug Atroria in the past or ever really because I knew she would push me away since she was leading the Kingdom, but right now this felt extremely... nice, even though I knew she was at deaths door, anybody with a brain can tell.
"...did you hear everything I said?" I whispered loud enough for my mother to hear. I felt her nod slowly as her grip around my body loosened. However I simply kissed her cheek like any loving son would do. "Remember, after everything you done I'm still your son, and Mordred is still your daughter."
There was silence making me frown. I leaned back slightly only to then realized Artoria passed away in my arms hugging her only son. The way she stared at the sky blankly and no a single sign of life was seen within them.
There was silence before a tiny whimper escaped my lips as tears threatened to leave my eyes. I lowered my head. Gritting my teeth I tightened my grip around the dead king.
If Mordred saw me now she would probably bully me for crying like a baby, but who wouldn't cry over something like this... I never got to experience something like this in my old life... my own mother passing away, that was something I have yet to experience until now... even thought Artoria wasn't my true mother, she was still my parent.
I pressed my head against my mother's shoulder and started crying on it. I just sat there with Artoria in my arms crying my eyes out and her limp arms still wrapped around me showing that she cared about me even though I failed as a son to stop Mordred. I don't know how long I've been there maybe it was a couple of hours, maybe it was a few minutes... but my mother has gone Ice cold in my arms long ago.
That's when I heard footsteps approaching. They were light and not at all heavy. I lifted my head from my mother's shoulder and I held back a growl at who it was.
It was Morgan, I refused to ever call that women my mother, she didn't once cared for me, she only saw me as the garbage that came out of her.
She would have killed me the moment I was born if it was wasn't for Merlin who kept me safe from the witch. The women probably saw something in me and decided to let me live, cause at any point in my new life she could have killed me without him around.
"Hhhmmm, it seems the mistake has killed the King." Morgan's voice was emotionless and not a single hint of remorse was heard, she did not care for her sister's death and this only pissed me off even more. The mask that I kept on around certain people slipped.
I tightened my grip around Artoria hoping something will kill this women before me... no... no, I'll kill her, I wanted revenge so long ago. She gave Mordred the ideas to attack Camelot and kill Atroria, but it was the part where Artoria rejected Mordred of being her child that pushed the Knight of treachery over the cliff which gave Morgan the advantage to trick her Daughter.
"Now where is your brother, trash..." Another growl left my mouth at the mention of my brother, I don't have a brother anymore in my old life I did, now I only have a older sister who has been taught to act like a man. She maybe rude, hurtful, and straight up mean to me, but she was still my sister and I loved her like any sibling would... and maybe, just maybe she feels the same way... in the past we were so close that we looked out for each other in our own way.
Even during her training to become a Knight I always encouraged her. She will never admit it, but I knew that my encouragement pushed her forward. Morgan would never say any words of encouragement she only pushed Mordred harder and scolded her if she fails.
When Mordred come back to our room exhausted and heavily wounded. I would be by her side patching up her wounds, even if she tries to push me away I would push back and keep helping her. No matter how much she whined and threatened to hurt me. I simply laughed at her and continued to help my sister.
I glared at Morgan who chuckled at me. She knew I was never trained to be a fighter, I was the mistake, she only needed one Heir and that was Mordred, but she saw something in me and that bugged me to no end. Maybe she saw the intelligence in my eyes when I looked at her.
Maybe it was Merlin who stopped her from doing anything drastic, cause he remembered the man holding him as Morgan held onto Mordred and glared at me.
"Hhmm, has the trash finally grown a backbone?" Morgen chuckled again, but in my head I was smiling like a mad man, she was underestimating me... good. That's all I need, take any advantage that was presented to me. Glancing at Atroria's opened eyes I felt my hand hit something beside me. I looked to see none other then Excalibur, the sword of promised Victory.
The spear Artoria used against Mordred was gone, but I didn't care, I only stared at the sword then at the body of my mother.
The blade shined in the night as if encouraging me to grab it and promising me that I'll protect me and lead me to victory.
"What does this mean mom, why did you want me to take your sword... did you know I was in danger before you passed?" Many questions flooded my head, but I decided to not question them just yet. I reached forward and shut my mother's eyes allowing her to look more peaceful once more.
I can hear Morgan approaching and knew I had to be quick. I couldn't mess up here, this was my one and only chance to get at least a single hit on the approaching witch.
I still held Artoria in my arms before suddenly dropping my mother's body carefully and in one fluid motion grabbed Excalibur's handle and spun around with the sword pointing outwards dragged it across Morgan's stomach just barely by the tip of the sword. I felt very satisfied to feel a bit of resistance in my swing knowing that I managed to score a hit. Glancing at the sword and did a quick once over. The blade looked elegant and beautiful as it always did.
But there was a trace of blood running down the blade slowly.
Morgan's blood...
The women cried out in pain and stumbled back holding her bleeding stomach. I however didn't hesitate to attack again, if there was anything I learned in my past life was to not hesitate or that it will cost me dearly. I adjusted the sword in my grip and charged towards the monster before me. My footsteps stomped against the ground as I closed the distance.
While it was true that I didn't know how to properly fight doesn't mean that I didn't asked to be taught. And I asked the only person who might be willing to do it. My own sister, and maybe Merlin, but there was no way in hell was I asking the Dick Wizard, the nickname which too this day still annoyed the man.
When we were teenagers, I asked Mordred to train me or at least give me some pointers on using a sword. At first she flat out refused to teach me, telling me she didn't have time to train trash like me, even at a young age she was told by Morgan that she was more superior then me and that I didn't deserve her time... but even then I knew Mordred was silently apologizing to me... or was she serious about it? I don't even know anymore cause my sister is constantly on and off with her feelings. Especially when we were kids... they only time Mordred was honest with her feelings.
But even when she said no, I continued to ask anyways, annoying her to the point where she nearly beat me to death, but what really pushed it, is when I said her trigger words.
"Come on Momo, your my big sister, please teach me how to use a sword." That was the worst mistake in my life, I was beat with every inch of my life. Mordred had a very large temper and calling her a female was a death sentence.
After she was finished I layed there on the floor holding myself as pain shot through my body, this pain was far worse then one would imagine not physically, but emotionally.
I can easily remembered saying something that snapped my sister out of her tantrum, but it still surprised me that it worked.
*Flashback*
"What happened back then Momo?" My sarcasm was strong here "We used to be such close siblings when we were young. Why do you hate me so much? I always encourage you to keep going, I even patched you up after your training." I paused as I pushed myself up to a sitting position. I looked at Mordred and glared making her glare back. After a few seconds I lowered my head. "No matter what happens, even if you have to strike me down I will always be your little brother." And as those words left my mouth I heard footsteps stomping towards me.
I knew I was able to snap her out of her tantrum, it wasn't hard. It was hard to know that she cared about me, she just showed it in her own way.
I looked up and saw Mordred glaring down at me. She reached down and yanked me too my feet. I stumbled slightly, but without a word she pushed me back causing my legs to hit my bed and cause me to sit down.
"Idiot, of course you care about me!" Mordred said angrily, there was a pause as the tension In her body left without a trace. "But I would never strike you down... your words really pushed me forward, you're doing better then Mom is." I grimaced at the words that left my sister's mouth. I would never call Morgan mother. "Plus... you did patch me up after my intense training sessions..." Another tense silence. "Fine, I'll teach you a few things... but don't tell Mother or whine about it during training, you asked for it after all." She said sternly making me smile and chuckle at her. "Now where are those bandages you always carry around?"
"I would never tell... Mother, nor would I complain. I know what I'm getting into" I said with a sour face at calling that witch mother. "And the bandages are in the top drawer near my bed."
*Flashback over*
Morgan growled and stood up straight. Excalibur was held tightly in my fingers. I took a stance I seen in a video game from my past life. I spread my legs apart and held the swords hilt down at my waist while pointing the blade forward aiming it directly at Morgan.
Advance: It's Warden's right side stance in For Honor.
"You dare attack me trash!" Morgan said growling. I however scoffed finally letting my mask drop and charged forward ready to bring my sword down on this monster in human skin. Morgan easily evaded my attack and pulled out her own sword which gleamed in the night.
I quickly fixed myself as Mordred's limited teachings echoed in my skull. I can feel my heart racing and my brain thinking a mile a minute. The fire around us crackled as we both stood there in silence waiting for who will strike first.
"Keep yourself relaxed, you're too tense in this stance, honestly you'll be killed in seconds if you don't have a proper balance..." Mordred's words entered my ears causing me to take a deep breath and loosen my muscles slightly. The fire around us cracked as it burned away the grass. The smell of burning bodies were no longer there, and the intense heat around me was no longer bothering me.
It was clam, the only sound I heard was my breathing and the faint noise of grass shifting slightly under my feet.
Morgan and I charged forward my sword shined brightly as I swung it sideways hoping to bury it into the witche's side.
The women avoided the attack and tried to counter with a trust attack which I quickly knocked aside. I lost my balance for a second, but quickly readjusted myself. I watched Morgan's every movement as she swung her sword down low making me take a large step back to avoid the sword.
I bent my knees slightly and aimed my left shoulder forward. With a burst of speed I laughed myself at the surprised Morgan who didn't think that I would charge in all willy nilly.
My shoulder connected with her chest knocking the wind out of her and making her stumble backwards. I took this time swing my sword which cut through the wind easily then slashed through cloth and flesh.
The sound of Morgan's pained screams entered my ears, but I didn't stop there, I wasn't going to stop until the women was dead at my feet. Tightening my grip around the handle of my sword, I spun around and raised my sword above my head.
Morgan looked up and quickly lunged to the side as my sword came down and slammed against the ground. I hissed as pain exploded against my side. I looked too see Morgan as able to score a hit off me which easily cut through my clothes.
I looked to see a deep gash against my side which was bleeding heavily meaning the cut was pretty deep.
The women glared at me and tried to hit me once, but I dodged to the side. I kept my legs spread apart ready for anything. Morgan shouted out In anger and started to attack me wildly causing me to go on the defense as I blocked her attack to the best of my ability, but she managed to score a few hits off me which was mostly on my arms and sometimes my chest.
I leaned my head back as her sword just barely grazed my throat. Stumbling back slightly I watched as Morgan raised her sword and brought it down overhead. This was my chance, if anybody was watching they would have seem the wide grin on my face.
As quick as I possibly could, brought up my sword and knocked Morgan's sword back causing her to stumble. Without warning I reached up with my left hand and grabbed the blade of my sword and brought it down with extreme force. Morgan was still mid-way through stumbling and my sword sliced through muscle and tissue like butter.
Not stopping there I brought up my blade and brought it down on her shoulder causing it to sink into her flesh before stopping a couple of inches. Morgan and I stood there both of us breathing heavily. The women looked up allowing me to see blood leaking from her mouth... and In her eyes I saw something I didn't expect to see.
Fear.
We both stared at each other for who knows how long. Morgan slowly raised her arms and reached out towards me... if she expects mercy, well she is shit out of luck... cause I'm all out of mercy especially for her.
With a roar I ripped my sword out of her shoulder causing her to cry out in agony. I slammed the flat end of my blade on her shoulder and she knew what was about to happen. I tightened my grip and did a full spin around the women, completely decapitating her.
I watched as her head rolled away from her body as it fell to the ground with a thud. I allowed myself to relaxe and glance at the headless body. With a sigh I looked around the battle field only to stop a familiar figure slumped against the once great wall of what used to be the kingdom of Camelot.
"Mordred!" I shouted rushing toward my sister who didn't twitch at the sound of my voice making me fear the worse. At this point my brain went back to why this all started and where it all began.

The man's name is Ark, his last name isn't important because of what is about to happen to him and how his life changed, doing a complete 180.
He rolled out of bed and yawned. Ark glancing at the clock and gasped. He shot to his bare feet and practically bounced around the room trying to get dressed in work clothes for today.
"I'M LATE! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" He continued to say as the man tried to slip on his work boots while bouncing out of the bedroom room. After getting on my boots he quickly got down stairs and ran into the kitchen. Pulling open the fridge, a annoyed sigh left Ark's lips. "Oh great, nothing in the fridge... again" He slammed the fridge closed and quickly looked at the clock.
Racing over to his keys hanging on the wall making a ton of noise in the process thanks to the boots which were pretty heavy since they were also steel toed.
"Ark! Shut the fuck up man! I'm trying to sleep!" A deep but young voice said from upstairs. The male snapped his head towards the stairs as a grin spread across his face.
"No, You shut the fuck up!" Ark shouted back up the stairs. He heard a faint groan then a door slamming closed, the man always did love messing with his younger brother, it was something he enjoyed greatly, however...
"Guys! School starts in a hour and I need my sleep!" A young female voice bounced down the halls making Ark and probably his younger brother grimace.
"Sorry sis!" Both males shouted at the same time before there was silence. Ark quickly walked to the front door then paused. Looking over his shoulder his shouted once again.
"Love you guys!" Two doors were heard opening at the same time and both brother and sister responded at the same time as well.
"Love you too big brother!"
"Go fuck yourself man!" There was a short silence "love you too bro!" Was Ark's brother's next response.
The man chuckled before opening the door and leaving his house. Walking over to his car which was a simple black Toyota. Unlocking the car he hopped in the driver seat and started the engine.
The moment the car started is when Ark received a call. Luckily his car had a Bluetooth mic and was able to connect to his phone.
"Hello?" Ark said simply as he pulled out of my driveway and drove down the road while snapping in his seatbelt and adjusting himself to sit more comfortably.
"Ark! Where are you, work started thirty minutes ago!" His boss said a little angry as man turned a corner down the road and started to drive a bit faster since he got on the main street.
"Sorry Max, I accidentally slept in, my alarm wasn't set, and I woke up realizing I'm late." Ark said a bit concerned, but hid his annoyance that his boss might fire him, this wasn't the first time he was late and it definitely won't be the last.
A sigh was heard before the boss spoke up once again. "Alright Ark, just get too work, you are one of my best-"
"Slash Favorite welder." Ark added making the boss chuckle slightly at what his employee said, but knew that was just to butter him up.
"Ark..." The man sighed with a bit of annoyance. "You know I can't keep covering for you, and I definitely can't play favorites, the head of the corporation is getting suspicious about you and are very close to firing you." Ark winced slightly and tightened his grip around the steering wheel a slight anger, no towards his job, but himself. "This is the last time I'm covering for you, got it." There was silence. "Ark?"
"I'm still here boss and I hear you." The young man sighed. He had to stop sleeping in, it was getting ridiculous, but he wanted to see his Sister's play which was last night, Ark definitely didn't want to let his sister down since she worked so hard for the play.
"Good, see you at work." And with that his boss hung up making Ark sigh and stop at a red light. He looked around and saw a lot of cars around him probably trying to get to work like him.
Leaning back slightly as the Florida heat slowly kicked in the more the sun rised. The light turned green and Arthur quickly drove forward.
SSSCCRRREEECCCCHHHH!
Everything slowed down as Ark heard tires screeching to a halt making him turn to see another car trying to stop. He can clearly see two passengers into the other car and the fear were clear in their eyes.
Ark's life flashed before his eyes and he couldn't help but chuckle. He already tried to hit his own breaks out of reflex and knew even if he tried it would do nothing to stop the incoming car.
By the looks of it this car was coming at him full speed. The male ponders on what would happen with his brother and sister when he passed away, then he thought about his parents who loved him and were so proud of him when he got his first job as a welder.
Then he remembered how much his sister loves both him and her second older brother no matter what. The smile on her face always brightened someone's day. Now there was Ark's younger brother... he had nothing good to say about him.
Ark let out another chuckle in his head as he recalled everything. Those are some good memories.
CRASH!
LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak
Ark blinked and looked around. He frowned and looked down at himself, he wasn't expecting this. Truth be told he thought hell would be more... demonic? He honestly doesn't know at this point. Sure he always made jokes about going to hell and that he deserved to be there, but not so soon.
"This is kind of disappointing." Ark mumbled to himself which actually echoed around him. "And that's creepy." He actually kind of hoped that hell was like DOOM and maybe he can go on a Crusade with DoomGuy to kill some Demons.
But by the looks of it he wasn't going to get that or one of his wishes to come true.
Crossing his arms Ark looked around and decided to simply walk about this endless void. The male walked about for only a few minutes and quickly grew bored cause there was nothing to do and walking in a endless void might cause that.
With a single eye twitch Ark groaned loudly and looked around with growing irritation.
"FOR FUCK SAKE, CAN SOMETHING HAPPEN." Ark shouted unknown to him that the whole area shook slightly. Taking a deep breath he sat down on the ground which didn't feel hot or cold. With a shrug Ark fell back and just stared at the sky.
This really must be hell cause just sitting here doing nothing was torture. Ark was fine with not talking to anyone since he was pretty anti-social when he was younger which he slowly grew out of when work involved a lot of communication and teamwork.
With a grunt Ark sat up and looked around, but paused at something... no seriously there was something in this endless abyss. It appears to be a large stone, probably as big as a house. Nothing note worthy about it, however on top of the rock buried in the stone was a sword.
Lifting an eyebrow Ark glanced around very confused. One moment there wasn't a single thing in sight, next thing he knows there is a rock with a sword in it.
Standing up the young man walked over to the rock and began to climb it. After a few seconds he reached the top but nearly slipped making him grunt from nearly faceplanting against the stone.
"Fucking..." Ark grunted gritting his teeth as he pushed himself up and walked towards the sword. "Really? A sword in the stone?" Ark looked over the sword and tilts his head. "Why the hell does this sword look familiar?" Ark's mind started to wander and thought about that story that always stuck with him.
King Arthur and Camelot.
The story was always fascinating too him and he remembered it like the back of his hand, hell he even remembers the Disney version... but then he remembered the Anime Version where King Arthur is actually a girl and how it explained all the hardship she had to go through.
Watching the Fate Series really tugged at his heart strings, but at the same time made him scowl at what those Heroic Spirits had to go through... honestly he was pretty sure most people who seen the show wished they can do something to ease their pain or burden, maybe even torture a few certain Heroic Spirits.
His mind drifted to a few Herioc Spirits that went through so much only to die a sad death that would make most grit their teeth In anger. Other didn't care since it was a show after all, but one can get very immersed into it and just wish that maybe they can do something to help them.
Ark looked at the sword and quickly realized why the sword looked familiar. It was the sword of promised Victory, not caliburn. The very sword Artoria used to lead her people...
His curiosity grew as he reached out and grabbed the handle of the sword. He doubts that it would be easy to pull the sword out, cause first off the sword was only pulled out because Artoria was worthy to lead her people.
Ark however wasn't worthy to be a leader nor was he a fighter. He didn't like being the good guy or the bad guy, he just preferred being in the middle. He hated choosing sides cause it was just a annoyance, especially when one side had to make a choice that might be something drastic.
But it didn't hurt to try.
Ark grasped the hilt of the sword with both hands and started to pull on the sword. A grunt left the male's lip and wasn't surprised that the sword didn't budg-
SHICK!
There was a large pause at the sound and Ark looked down at the sword. Did he hear that right... did the sword just... move, by him! Ark's eyes hardened with a tiny bit of excitement as he tightened his grip and started to pull harder.
The cracks in the stone started to glow as the blade itself also glowed. Ark noticed how the sword slowly started to be pulled out and actually grew more excited which he kept under control.
With another grunt he pulled even harder and with a yelp of surprise the sword flew out of the stone. Ark stumbled slightly and nearly fell off the rock. He took a few deep breath then looked down at the sword...
This... wasn't the sword of promised victory, this was another sword entirely. It looked to be Excalibur, but it was a mix between Excalibur and Excalibur Morgan, not only that but it was a bit long making it a long sword.
The sword had the outframe of Excalibur and a bit more within the blade, but that is about it, cause the rest is basically Excalibur Morgan. The sword actually felt different. Not like he would know about what something felt like. But Ark can actually feel like this sword shouldn't exist, it was both good and bad...
Ark just held the long sword then slowly shifted into stance which he seen in one of the medieval games he used to play. He spread his legs slightly and crouched down while resting the sword against his hip and pointing the sword forward.
It was a stance that looked comfortable and he was actually surprised at how it felt. He never held a sword in his life yet it felt so right in his hands.
CRACK!
Ark jolted slightly and looked to where the sound came from and saw cracks forming on the large stone. Not thinking twice Ark jumped off the rock making sure the long sword wouldn't stab or cut him accidentally.
The male landed on his feet with a grunt and stumbled forward. He looked behind him and could only watch as more and more cracks spread across the rock. Ark covered his face when the cracks started to glow and without a word it exploded.
Ark flinched when bits of rocks hit him, but he brushed it off. He lowered his arm and gasped. Standing before him was a portal... it glowed with a mix between black and white... it actually kind of reminds him of the Corridor of Darkness from Kingdom hearts.
"Spirit..." Ark flinched away from the portal when it spoke. The voice sounded old and wise, not only that it sounded... tired. "You passed away in your world, yet you are here in this limbo with nothing to do but walk in nothingness for all eternity." The male blinked and tightened his grip around the sword. "I went through your mind and found you very peculiar... then again the people of your world are already Interesting." The old voice chuckled.
There was silence as if the voice was thinking of what to say next. Ark was just frozen in place. The memories of the crash flashed through his head. He remembered the excruciating pain that went through his body, however it seems he wasn't just hit by one car, but two. Cause it seems the people trying to catch the red light was being chased by the police.
The police car tried to swerve around the car however Ark's car wasn't put to a complete stop since it continued to moved forward cause the cars momentum was still pushing it forward.
Ark only saw the panicking officer then nothing...
The male held his head in pain and he stumbled slightly. The portal lurched for a second making Ark look at it.
"Spirit, I can not tell if you are good or bad, but I'm making a risk speaking to you so I decided to test you and see what kind of person you are and that sword was part of your test, it is created from both Excalibur and Excalibur Morgan..." Ark looked down at his sword then back at portal. "Spirit, I know you're confused and hurting from passing away from your family, but please listen closely, this portal will bring you back to life, however you will become a baby again, but I also decided to allow you to keep your memories, because this world isn't yours... it's a world I'm sure you're quite familiar with... I just hope that you can change the future..." and with that the voice went silent.
Ark looked down at his sword then back at the portal. Faces of his family flashed through his head and he could feel tears ready to spill, but he held strong and took a deep breath. Ark really wanted to go back to his family, but he knew it was pointless, he was dead and you can't bring back the dead...
He looked at the portal then down at his sword. Ark actually liked the sword and wanted to keep it, the sword just felt so right in his hands. Another chuckle was heard from the portal.
"Don't worry, you will be able to keep the sword, but you'll have to wait before you can use it." Ark frowned but nodded his head. "Come, I see that you made up your mind." Ark hesitated for a second then steeled him and stepped through the portal.
It suddenly became very warm and everything went dark. Ark realized he couldn't move and nearly started panicking since he also couldn't breath, but at the same time could. The male looked around and heard muffled voices. He tried to make them out, but no luck.
Suddenly it became more loose and Ark can slightly move now. He looked and saw a entrance which he was being pushed towards too. It was getting slightly bigger, but it was also getting more cramped.
Wait... didn't the portal say he was going to be rebor- OH GOD, HE WAS BEING BORN AND HE'LL BE ABLE TO REMEMBER IT, SOMEONE GET THE BLEACH! AAAAAHHHHH-

Merlin sighed as he pulled out the second baby. It cried like all babies should, but why did he get the feeling that if... it could speak it would be cursing like a Knight Trainee on the first day of training?
The baby stopped whining... and just stared at him. Merlin was a bit astonished when he saw that the baby's eyes were filled with such intelligence... why did it feel like the baby was judging him?
Cause it was...
They baby had this look on his face that would put the 'King' of Knights judging stare to shame. Especially since the green eyes were a striking resemblance to the King, but instead of the calculating look, this baby held the look of a trouble maker soon to come.
"There are two of them..." Said a cold voice making Merlin jump and nearly drop the baby who looked suddenly panicked, seems the baby has good survival instincts since he could feel them grabbing his shirt.
The wizard looked at the women who have gave birth which was none other then Morgan Pendragon.
"It seems so..." Merlin said holding the baby a little closer since Morgan was looking at the baby in his arms with a hard glare that surprisingly was returned in kind. "Brat is going to be a handful when... he gets older." Merlin did a quick check and confirmed the baby was male.
"Let me see..." Merlin was about to hold out the baby to Morgan who looked ready to do something, but the wizard pulled back allowing the tense baby to relaxed in his arms.
"No, cause I know what your about to do Morgan." Merlin said sternly making the women scowl, she looked at the baby who stuck his tongue out at her.
That baby was smart and it was just born a few minutes ago. Not only that, it wasn't even trying to hide the fact that It was intelligent, which really annoyed her, but intrigued the wizard. The baby knew she was dangerous and was mocking her for it.
That child was going to be a brat... he can feel.
"Well, what are their names?" Merlin asked curious while Morgan scowled at him for speaking up, she had already had a name for her first child, but not the second, not like she cared about the other one.
"My first child's name is Mordred." Merlin simply smirked before looking down at the boy in his arms who looked back at him. "And I don't care about that child, get him out of my sight."
Both the baby and Merlin scowled at Morgan even with all his visions, Merlin can't seem to see what this child's future will be.
"You must nam-" Morgan simply ignored him and focused on the child in her arms. Merlin sighed and looked down at the baby who held a tiny hand out. With a sigh the mage had to get a name for the baby himself.
In the male baby's mind however a few words were being said.
"I swear to God, if he opens that window and I start hearing the lion king music, I'm going to lose it." The baby looked at the Dick Wizard and knew he was thinking pretty hard. "You better not give me a stupid name" was the baby's next thought before a smile spread across Merlin's face.
"I shall name you Ark Pendragon" Merlin said while the baby just stared at him as if he grew a second head.
"Wow... I'm... not even surprised anymore, it seem my new name is also my old name, how convenient." Ark thought as Merlin wagged his finger in front of him. "This wizard better not be wagging his finger in front of me, OK, I'm biting his finger, no wait, I don't have any teeth."
Ark swatted away the finger before sticking out his baby hand. Merlin smirked and reached out to touch the baby hand, he froze however when the baby's hand slowly stuck out the middle finger.
That shit eating grin on the baby's face will forever be burned into the man's head.

"Christ, how in the hell did I survive for this long." A ten year old Ark mumbled as he sat up in bed that Merlin got him. He hopped out of bed and looked towards the other bed in the room which held his sister who was still sleeping.
Now Ark's ten years old in this new world was nothing special, he pretended to act like a kid which was very difficult cause he had to hold back his snide remarks and heavy sarcasm which was mostly directed at Morgan and Merlin.
Well besides that Morgan kept a very close eye on him and tried to figure out what kind of child he was. She still saw him as a mistake, but Ark could give less of a shit especially to a women like her. The only person he was genuinely nice too is Mordred who insisted that she was a boy.
Ark for the life him him avoided Morgan as much as possible, and only interacted with Mordred and rarely with Merlin, but the annoying part was the dick wizard knew Ark was smart and much more then meets the eye.
The boy heard a grumble and looked to see a young Mordred sit up in bed dressed in simple clothes that were mostly meant for males, he didn't question it unless Ark wanted to get punch in the face...
Mordred looked at Ark and he looked back at her.
"Oh look, the walking Tomboy is awake." Ark said sarcastically making Mordred scowl a him as she got out of bed and started walking passed him
"Oh joy, the walking mistake is still alive." Mordred shot back making Ark nod in approval. She reached the door, but paused. She looked back at the boy, but he simply gave her a thumbs up and turned towards his bed and fixed the sheets.
Ark heard Mordred close the door making him stop and turn towards the mirror they had. The boy looked himself over and shook his head.
"I'm not even surprised that I look like Proto-Arthur" Ark mumbled as he gave himself a once over trying to see if he could spot a difference between him and Mordred.
Slightly tan skin, with light green eyes that shined with many different feeling and emotions. Finally was his short blond hair which looked like it was made of gold.
Well besides the different hair styles, Ark and Mordred were very similar in appearance, but that was it. Mordred had a more female build which was hidden underneath her clothes and Ark had a more muscular build which is pretty self explanatory.
Walking out of the room Ark walked down the hall of this house both him, Mordred, and Morgan were staying it. Merlin provided it too us and of course Morgan wasn't thankful, but me and Morgan sure as hell were.
"I know your behind me Dick Wizard." Ark grumbled as he turned around to see Merlin with a scowl on his face.
"That name is just plane rude." Merlin said smacking the boy on top of the head with his staff. Ark grumbled while glaring at the perv of a wizard.
"If you want I could go for something much worse." Ark said making Merlin pale since he knows the boy isn't joking. "That's what I thought." Merlin glared down at the boy who smirked at him.
Merlin already knows Ark is extremely smart and mature for his age, however his attitude is something that annoyed the mage. Meanwhile Ark could care less about Merlin knowing he is smart the only people that he won't show is Morgan, Mordred probably knows... but then again she had to mature pretty quick thanks to her training.
Ark continued walking while Merlin shook his head and vanished from sight. The boy reached the end of the hall and pushed opened the door only to see Mordred sitting at the table waiting with her arms crossed and looking out the window.
The boy smirked as he walked up to the table. Glancing around the room he didn't see Morgan anywhere which was good.
"Hey si-" Mordred glared at her brother daring him to finish that word. Ark closed my mouth and sighed. "Hey... bro." Ark said making the girl nod her head and look away. "You know I hat-"
"I don't care what you think!" Mordred snapped making the boy jump slightly before shaking his head. Ark walked passed her and into the area where the kitchen should be. It was just a bunch of cabinets filled with all sort of different spices and ingredients.
Ark missed his kitchen which always had fish or chicken on standby, but during this era, there was no fridge or oven to keep food fresh or cook.
So Ark had to learn on how to work with fire and figure out how to properly cook food which took a couple of months, but he finally managed to figure it out.
"What do you want, you're not usually at the table waiting." Ark said causing Mordred to blush and cross her arms. "You would usually eating something small then head off to train." Ark looked at his sister who huffed and glared at him. "Am I wrong?"
There was silence before Mordred looked down and mumbled something. Ark rolled his eyes and got a bit closer to his sibling. "Come on speak up, what is it." After a few second Mordred spoke a little louder.
"I want you to head into the village with me..." There was silence as Ark tried to process her words. She must of saw his weirded out look cause she got out of her chair and walked toward the door leading to the outside.
"W-wait!" Ark shouted chasing after his sister who paused. "Mordred what the hell, are you OK?" Now the boy was more worried if his sibling was feeling right cause she would never WILLING ask him if he wanted to accompany her.
Mordred growled and looked behind her scaring at her brother who was confused and slightly intrigued.
"I just want to head to the village so we can buy some meat just so you can cook something for us." Mordred grumbled making Ark blink before a wide grin spread across his face.
"Oh, so you like my cooking." Ark watched as Mordred's face went red with anger as she grit her teeth, but Ark didn't back down. He knew his cooking had some sort of impact on her and was proud of it.
His mom would be proud... not Morgan or Artoria, his old mom before he passed away. Ark felt himself slump slightly as his old life flashed through his eyes... he missed his old life dearly, but what can he do? There was no way back, he might as well enjoy what he has now.
Mordred looked worried for a second then quickly shoved her worry away when Ark blinked and focused on her once more.
"So you want to eat more of my cooking... OK, let me get ready and we can go." Mordred nodded and walked towards the door. She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms.
Ark got himself ready and grabbed some gold that Merlin gave him since Morgan didn't really take care of them, if it wasn't for that pervert wizard Ark and Mordred probably would have starved... or Mordred would just steal some food while Ark starved.
"Alright let's go." Mordred nodded and left the house with Ark right behind her. The boy quickened his pace slightly so that he and Mordred were side by side.
Mordred would never admit it, but she enjoyed have her brother by her side, he was the only person that helped her up after training and always said nice thing to her... unlike mother who was always cold and rude, Ark was warm and nice, the complete opposite of Mother...
Even after being a rude jerk to him, Ark still treats Mordred like a sibling... she really liked this feeling of having someone watch over her and making sure she was ok... she honestly thought that the moment she started training Ark would ignore her, but no.
Her brother got some wet cloth and started to dress her wounds with the upmost care...
Mordred glanced down at her arms which were wrapped neatly in some clean cloth. This was Ark's work, not the best she has seen, but it showed that he put all his effort into it... she glanced to looked at the blond haired boy and saw him thinking about something. A tiny smile appeared on Mordred lips before she wiped it away, she didn't need Ark to know about how she felt.
Looking up the duo saw the village closing in. Mordred saw a couple of Knights walking and stared at them in awe. Ark on the other hand just stared with a tiny bit of curiosity.
The Knights were walking around the village while beside the Village was a large castle, Ark stared at the castle before hearing people gasp. The siblings look to see none other then the King.
