Jays pov: It's been a little over a month since Kim's pop-up wedding at the bullpen it was a perfect ceremony Especially during the ceremony Kim revealed to Blair and all of us that she is pregnant. which is so exciting to have yet another person join the parenthood and of course Mr. Jonah decided to steal a spotlight from them by taking his first steps. Which means now we have to have our heads on them 24/seven since both boys are walking.
The older three are doing great they are growing and becoming smarter each day, here in about a week it will be mine in the boys birthday I still can't believe they decided to be born on my birthday right now I'm hanging out with mouse and the younger three at a local park

GM= I can't believe those boys will be one next Saturday
J= I know tell me about it they are getting so big
GM= oh yeah but that means your birthday is next Saturday too it's crazy they were born on your birthday
J= oh yeah it's been a year and I still can't believe the best birthday present Erin gave me was them
GM= I bet it is
J= to think next year at this time you will have your own baby
GM= I know I'm still a little shocked that I will be having a kid soon
J= I was a little shocked too when we were pregnant with Camryn but as time gets closer to meeting her I got more and more excited
GM= yeah
J= so how is Taylor doing is she sick all the time
GM= only a few times a day but overall she's doing pretty good
J= that's good so are you and Taylor going to find out the gender of your guys' baby in the next few weeks or wait until she gives birth to the baby to find out the gender
GM= it's actually kind of funny that you are asking me this because we were talking about it the other day
J= oh really
GM= oh yeah and we decided we can't wait that long to find out the gender
J= oh yeah I was the same way that is way too long to wait
GM= so since you brought it up I actually have a question for

GM= yes well hearing about a month we will have our next doctors appointment and I guess that appointment Will probably be the appointment they can find out the gender so I was wondering if you and Erin can plan a gender reveal party for us

GM= yes really

GM= nope nobody does that's for sure
J= but I think she would be honored so we will throw you a gender reveal party

EG= I think the boys are getting tired they are hitting each other

Once I go and get the boys we all say goodbye to mouse and head home

J= i'll go put them down
E= all right ( he leaves) so did you have so much fun with daddy and uncle mouse

J= and that was a smooth transition to the crib for them both
E= well that's good so how was the park today
J= it wasn't too bad I was glad to hang out with mouse today
E= oh yeah sooner or later he will be having a kid to join in this crazy crew of kids we all have
J= oh yeah so speaking a mess and his future kid today he asked if me and you would plan a little gender reveal for them

J= well I said I don't speak for you but we would be honored to plan the gender reveal but I had to ask you first
E= well for one good job husband do you know that I speak for myself and no one speaks for me, and for two I would love to do their gender reveal
J= all right we will tell them tomorrow speaking of that did you get everything at the store especially with Porter and Camryn with you
E= well they weren't too bad at the store this time
J= that's good
E= and I got everything I needed which was hard because it was so crowded in there today
J= I guess a lot of people decided to wait until the last minute to shop for Easter dinner
E= oh yeah remind me to go earlier next year because it was total madness in there
J= i'll try to remind you but with how crazy our lives is it might happen again like this
E= yeah that is so very true so since I'll be cooking a lot tomorrow how about we order something for dinner tonight instead of cooking
J= that sounds perfect

Me and Erin hang out with the older kids until the twins wake up, right before the boys woke up our dinner arrived and we had some pasta for dinner the kids left it about two hours after dinner we got all the kids bathed and put to bed for the night

E= I think that Park worn ember out because she went straight to sleep when I put her to bed
J= oh yeah that's good the boys went down easy also
E= well that's good because now we got to get this easter baskets together
J= oh yeah where do we start
E= I say we place everything out and then sort it by kid
J= good idea ( they do) wow this is a lot of stuff
E= yeah but this is for five kids not just one of two kids
J= yeah that's a good point isn't it crazy last Easter it was just three kids and we were waiting on the boys to be born
E= I know that's crazy I was so large last year I'm glad I'm not that big right now
J= yeah or no matter what you looked like you were beautiful babe

E= oh by the way Vanessa text me today
J= oh no I hope she wasn't canceling and said they can't come
E= no not at all they are still coming for sure but Kevin decided that he will be dressing up as the Easter bunny for all the kids
J= oh man that's sweet of him and good thinking because I wouldn't want to do that at all
E= I bet if I ask you you would definitely dress up as the Easter bunny
J= nope there would be no way I would do it no matter how much you begged me
E= oh Jay I would have found a way to get you to do it you can't say to no to me ever I have my ways ( Winks)

E= all right these baskets are done and they look great
J= now what
E= okay I think with all the cooking I'll be doing tomorrow I think it will be easier if we hit all the eggs in the backyard now then in the morning

We go and hide about 150 eggs in our backyard in about an hour

J= now that this is done does it mean we can go off to bed now
E= yes it does but first how would you like to play scrabble with A naughty bunny
J= I would love to please tell me you are wearing a naughty bunny outfit underneath your clothes
E= well you will have to pick me up and carry me to the bedroom and tear my clothes off to see for yourself
J= i'll be gladly happy to do that

I pick Erin up abs carry her to our bedroom and place couple with her for a few and then we fall asleep the next morning

E= Jay Alexander if I open my eyes and you are staring right at me I will kill you
J= how could you tell
E= because I know you way too much
J= yes you do ( kiss her) I love watching my beautiful wife sleep

I pick Erin up and we go and enjoy a steamy we are under scrabble in the shower, then Erin starts to cook the food about 30 minutes later the kids wake up and then about two hours later the guests finally show up.

WH= hey where are my favorite nieces and nephews
PJ= uncle well I'm pretty sure we are your only nieces and nephews
WH= I know and that's why you are my favorite
CN= uncle Will is silly
E= yes he is Camryn where is your wife at by the way
WH= she is bringing in the food
NM= here I am and here is the cookies that I made

E= so Kevin the plan is to eat first and then we will do that thing

Within 10 minutes all the guest arrive and the food got done shortly after, we all gathered around the table to eat about an hour later it was time for the biggest part yet

J= I think it's time for the egg hunt
E= oh yeah Kevin should be almost ready to go
J= all right how about I go check on him while you gather the kids up
E= all right then text me when he's ready
J= will do ( he leaves)
E= hey kids can you come here for a second
OM= what's up aunt Erin
E= so me and Jay cut a call this morning from someone special who wants to stop by and do something special for you guys ( text form jay" bunny Kevin is ready ") so everyone grab your baskets and head outside and grab all the eggs you can get
All= let's go ( they leave)
HV= so how many eggs are out there
E= there is about 150 eggs
AD= well that will keep them busy for a while
HU= that is for sure
J= do you think we will have about four more kids out there next year running with the others
E= that just means we would need to buy about another hundred eggs for next year
HV= oh yeah

CN= The Easter bunny is here and I have a bunch of eggs

KB= well here in about a month I'll be going back to my doctors and this appointment might be when they can find out the gender and I was wondering can you do a gender reveal for us
E= I would love to just have your doctor either call or email me with the results of the gender

For the next hour all the kids find all the eggs and hang out with Kevin the Easter bunny about two hours later everyone leaves and goes home and we put the boys down for a nap

J= and the boys are down
E= they were so tired weren't they
J= oh yes they were
E= thank God today is over with because it was super long
J= oh yes it was so may I ask what did Kim want earlier
E= of course not well you know how yesterday Mel talk to you about throwing a general video for him and Taylor
J= oh yeah
E= Well Kim asked me to do the same by planning her employers gender reveal too
J= Well to Jen reveals to plant in the next month
E= oh yeah don't they realize we already have a busy life with five kids why add another thing onto it
J= they do but not to brag what are gender of yours have been pretty amazing and creative so I don't blame them

J= yeah same but let's maybe go to bed to take a nap for a little bit because it's been a long day

Me and Erin go to bed to take a little nap after the Easter stuff over the next few days we start thinking of different gender reveals from mouse and Kim

Erin's POV: It's been a little over a month since Jason Kevin got into a little accident and J how do you spend some time alone at home with the girls which he not doing a little spot it with him which was beyond cute to see when I got home. So been a month since Kim had a pop-up wedding at the bullpen and we had two surprises One which was Kim and Nancy that she was pregnant and the second being Mr. Jonah decided he wanted to steal the spotlight by taking his first steps at her wedding. Now with both boys walking we have to keep a close eye on them, A few days ago it was Easter in everyone had fun at our house tomorrow will be a special day because it's J and the twins his birthday which is crazy my baby boys will be one years old where has time gone right now I'm going shopping for the boys birthday at the very last minute but luckily for me I have two people joining me on this trip which is Natalie and Vanessa and of course baby Korbin in Maverick

E= hey ladies thanks for joining me on this last-minute birthday shopping trip
VR= it's no problem
NM= yeah it's no problem besides it's a typical Mom thing to do is wait till the last minute to shop i've done it a couple times
VR= oh yeah I've done it once or twice before I still can't believe your boys will be one tomorrow
E= I know it I still can't believe it that this time last year I was less than 24 hours away from bringing both of them into the world
NM= Oh yeah and then we found out that you guys copy little secret from everyone
VR= oh yeah I still can't believe you guys didn't even slip up about having twins
E= I had no clue it was fun to actually keep a little secret from everyone
VR= I bet it was May before our next baby we will either keep the gender hey secret or wait until I get birth to see what we are having only if Kevin agrees with it
NM= Oh yeah same that would be so cool to do if we have a next
E= Natalie no offense but even if you don't want anymore kids you are with a halstead will can get you pregnant just by looking at you trust me
VR= oh my god that is so true
NM= Yeah I may be besides we have pretty cute kids don't we
E= yes you guys do also good luck keeping well from taking a look at what the gender is or if you guys can keep the gender a secret to yourself he will most likely tell anyone because he can't keep a secret to save us life
VR= oh no he can't
NM= ugly but that makes well who he really is
E= Oh you're so while I have you guys here can I ask you for some help with something
VR= of course you can
NM= we are always here to help so what can we help you with
E= so since it's also Jay's birthday tomorrow I have no clue what to get him as a present he is a very hard guy to shop for
VR= oh yeah why are the husbands so hard to buy for
NM= oh yes they are probably because they always say they have everything they really need with us and the kids
E= oh yeah but to be honest we say the same things to them when they ask us for what we should they should get for us
VR= oh yes we do
NM= so what is something Jay likes
VR= or is there something he wishes he could do more often than he does
E= um actually he keeps talking about how he would like to go out and golf more
VR= oh OK that works maybe you should buy him a day or the whole weekend worth of golfing for his birthday
NM= yes that's a great idea and I did that for real last year for Father's Day he loved it
E= all right that works I'm now glad you guys came for sure
VR= we are too right korbin ( tickles him)

We finish up shopping for the boys we get lots of stuff they would like and we all head home me and Jay spend our last few hours with our babies before they turn one that night me and Jay babe the boys together and snuggle them until they fall asleep. I give Jay an early birthday pleasant by playing a long and slow version of Scrabble, and then we fall asleep cuddled together the next morning I wake up before Jay for once and just watch him sleep

J= Erin Nicole what are you doing
E= nothing just watching you sleep
J= how come when I do it to you you say I'm being a creep but it's fine when you watch me sleep
E= it's because I only do it once in a while when you do it almost every time and besides it's your birthday and I want to see if you look any different today than you did yesterday since you got a year older
J= well do I look different
E= not Will you still are handsome and hot as ever ( kiss her) happy birthday hot stuff
J= why thank you babe
E= you're welcome so I have a present for you
J= Erin I don't need anything for my birthday when the boys join this last year that was the ultimate present anybody could give me

E= I may be but I say we hop in the shower to make sure you don't stink

jay picks me up and carries me into the shower and we enjoy nice and long scrabble session To enjoy his birthday about 20 minutes later we get done

E= okay well I'm glad you prove me wrong that you don't stink
J= you really think you're funny
E= yes I do but all honesty that wasn't really your birthday present I wanted to have a good laugh before the craziness started
J= well I'm glad you did it was a fun way to start my birthday but can I have my real present now
E= yes you can have it now ( grabs it) here you go babe
J= why thanks ( opens her and looks it over) you got me a day full of golfing at the golf course ( kiss her) you are truly the best wife ever
E= thanks babe and I'm glad you like it you are a hard person to shop for
J= Well the same could be said about you Erin

We both get dressed and just enjoy some alone time before the kids wake up about 15 minutes later we hear them getting up

E= I guess our peace and quiet is over with
J= oh yeah I say we go get the older 31st and then we go get the twins
E= yeah that's a good idea

Jay goes and gets the girls while I go and get Porter

J= hey buddy did you sleep well
PJ= yes I did daddy also happy birthday
J= thanks buddy
E= did you girls say happy birthday to your daddy yet
CN= yes we did Mommy
J= they said it once I open the door
E= well that's good
PJ= can we go see the birthday boys
J= oh yes we can
E= let's go guys ( opens door) There are my big one-olds

J= they are definitely mamas boys there is no doubt about it
E= it's the best ever ( picks them up ) how are you guys one already
J= is everyone ready for breakfast

E= all right let's go eat breakfast

Everyone heads out to the kitchen while Jay fixes the breakfast I play with the kids breakfast was done within 20 minutes and we start to eat it

J= so babe what time is the party
E= I told everyone to be here about three which is right after their afternoon naps
J= all right that works out
PJ= hey mommy
E= yes buddy
PJ= is all of our friends going to be at the party
J= yes they are
E= yeah you will have plenty of friends to play with today

We finished up breakfast within 10 minutes me and Jay just hang out with the kids for the rest of the morning once the afternoon comes around the boys go down for the nap and when they're down everyone else starts to clean up and decorate for the party. Then we all get dressed and wait for the boys to wake up, About two hours later the boys woke up from a nap and the guest start showing up

WH= no way this little guy is my favorite especially since he is named after me
E= he is never going to let us live that down that we named one of our boys after him

E= hey Owen and Charlotte the kids are playing out back if you guys want to go join them
CE= all right auntie ( they leave)
NM= they love their cousins they couldn't wait to come over
E= that's so sweet

J= I guess all the halstead boys like you the most
E= I guess I have that effect on them
WH= oh yeah but where is Jaxson at
J= he is walking around here somewhere

They come in and over the next 30 minutes everyone shows up and party fully gets started

KB= this party has turned out great
E= why thank you Kim I'm getting better and better at party planning
KB= maybe it's because you keep having kids so more parties for you
E= Yeah maybe I'll by the way I forgot to say this but you look amazing Kim
KB= why thank you I'm glad that I'm finally passed the first trimester
E= did you have any morning sickness
KB= yeah first it was all day but it solely went down to one or two times during the day and then last week it finally stopped
E= that's good I hate they call it morning sickness because it's not it's more like all day sickness
KB= exactly couldn't agree more

Me and Kim catch up for a few minutes then we go and get something to eat for the next 30 minutes everyone eats the food and catch up with everyone

PJ= mom is it time for the boys cake
E= I think it is buddy babe go grab the cakes for me while I get the boys in the highchair
J= all right I will
PJ= I can help you mom
E= all right buddy

as Porter helps me with the boys getting them in the highchair Jay grabs the birthday cakes

J= all right everyone can we have your attention
All= yes
E= show me NJ first want to say thank you all for coming to the boys first birthday well I can't believe it's been a whole year with these two babies
J= we made it ( laughs )
E= that's because we had all of you to help us when they say " it takes a village to raise a child" it's Charlie true when you have twins so thank you over supporting us over this last year
KB= well we love you guys
KA= you guys are like family
J= why thank you guys

E= so before we start singing happy birthday to them we decided since there are two babies we are going to sing it twice to make it fair to each baby that they each get their own special attention when it comes time for singing happy birthday considering they are sharing a birthday with each other .
J= so we are going to sing to Jaxson first since he was born first
WH= are we also going to sing happy birthday to you Jay since it is also your birthday
AR= yeah come on Jay let us ( they all laugh)
J= maybe later let's just focus on the boys right now
AD= all right

Everyone sings happy birthday to jaxon Then we sing it to Jonah after we sing to both of them they start eating the cakes well everyone watches, both boys love their cake so much they needed a quick bath in the middle of the party the older kids help the twins open their presents they love their ball pit from Kevin the most. Everyone stayed for about two more hours then it was time for everyone it's bedtime so we divided and conquered to get them to bed. I did the birthday boys will Jade does the older three kids , I snuggled the boys a little extra tonight then I go meet up with Jay in The living room

J= hey you did they not want to go down
E= no they were tired for sure I just wanted extra snuggle time with them tonight
J= Oh I see I don't blame you there
E= you didn't have to clean up by yourself I could've helped you babe
J= I know but you know how I am
E= yeah but it's your birthday also , which means you don't have to clean up on your birthday
J= well it's already done so what are you going to do about it
E= maybe I'll do something but not right now so did you have a great birthday
J= Yes I did I got to spend it with my family and friends that I love the most
E= well that's good I'm just glad this long day is finally over with
J= yeah same
E= we can now officially say we have survived a whole year with twins and having five kids
J= oh yeah it was worth it first but we made it through it

J= so can we try for another baby now that the boys are a year old
E= Jay Alexander you got to be kidding me we don't need another kid right now especially with a dog and five kids
J= oh yes I'm joking
E= you better be Mr. I'm so happy and content in our life with you and our 5 kids that are asleep I don't think we need to add another one
J= oh believe me I'm so happy with our life right now every day is amazing

J= maybe since it's my birthday you could let me try one time for a baby
E= well your last birthday present is me and you can do whatever you want with me

Before another word is that Jay picks me up in carries me to the bathroom really enjoy a couple long rounds of scrabble and then we fall asleep. We are so grateful we have survived a year with twins and having five kids which has been the best year of our lives
