Jays pov: it's been over three months since mine and the twins birthday every day since then they have causes double the trouble each day, I guess when they say double trouble for twins they really mean it, about a month ago Teddy came into town to visit us but he also bought along his fiancé he wanted us to meet and they wanted to ask Erin A very important question which was can she be their surrogate for them to have a family, She wasn't sure if she wanted to but after we talked about it with each other and with her doctor she agreed to only if they moved back to Chicago which worked out because Teddy's fiancé actually had a job offer he wasn't sure he's gonna take until we told them that she was going to be the surrogate they moved back about two weeks ago and they have came over a couple times in the last couple weeks. Right now me and Erin are at work
KA= hey Erin And J when are the kids last day of school
E= Well Kevin their last day is actually
KA= oh really that's cool
J= Actually babe I have an idea for porta
E= you do what is your idea
J= I was thinking maybe I pick Porter up and take him to go see one of his favorite movies to celebrate making it through a whole year of school
E= oh how sweet he will like that maybe I'll do that with Carmyn too
KA= crazy that Violet will be in school in the next two years
VR= I know that's crazy she needs to stop growing up
HU= agree with you Vanessa
AR= hey Jay do you mind if me and Ashton come and join you I haven't spent much time with him since little Harlow was born so it's long overdue father and son time
J= yeah that's totally fine Adam
HV= ( opens door) so I have good news
KA= you do what is it
HV= well I have noticed how hard you guys have been working and I think today you guys can leave here in the next hour just to have a little break from work
AR= wow really that's amazing
HV= yea have fun
Luckily we are finishing up in about 45 minutes and we all head home me and Erin go and pick up the two kids from school
PJ= hey daddy
J= hey buddy how was school
PJ= it was good why do you pick me up from school early today
J= Call grandpa Hank let us all go home early so I decided to come spend time with you is that OK
PJ= yes it is
J= so I got a surprise for you
PJ= you do what is the surprise daddy
J= well since today is your last day of school I thought you deserved a little treat so you and me are going to go watch one of your favorite movies in the movie theater together
PJ= oh really which one
J= marvel end games
PJ= oh my god that's the best one
J= I know and guess what
PJ= what daddy
J= we also have Ashton and uncle Adam coming to watch the movie with us
PJ= wait no way that's awesome
J= oh yeah and we are here and luck there they are

AS= Uncle Jay and Porter ( runs and hugs)
AR= are you kids ready to watch an amazing movie or not
PJ= i'm so ready

We head inside and get four tickets to the movie grab some candy and popcorn and head inside to watch the movie. About two hours later the movie is almost over it went all the sudden my phone rings
J= ( whisper) hey Adam
AR= yeah what's up
J= my CI just called and wants to meet up with me do you mind watching Porter for a little bit
AR= no not at all besides this maybe is almost done with I'll take them both to the park afterwards if you want to meet us there
J= all right that works I'll put porters seat in your car, hey buddy
PJ= yeah daddy
J= I got to leave just for a little bit so you get to hang out at uncle Adam and Ashton but I'll come back to get you
PJ= all right
J= be a good boy for Adam
AR= he always is
J= if you need anything call me
PJ= all right daddy
I leave and go meet with my CI, with Adam and the boys the boys finish up their movie and then head to a near by park, and the boys play while Adam watches them
PJ= look uncle Adam ( show off)
AR= be careful buddy you too Ashton
AS= I will daddy
Within 2 minutes things turn bad because Porter falls off the monkey bars and falls on his left arm
AR= oh god Porter ( runs to him) are you all right buddy
PJ= uncle Adam it hurts
AR= what hurts buddy
PJ= my arm hurts ( start crying)
AR= it will be okay buddy
AS= what is wrong with Porter daddy
AR= he hurt his arm buddy
AS= is he going to be okay
AR= I don't know buddy
AS= I hope he is okay
AR= same here buddy I think we needed to go to the hospital can you be a brave boy and hey into the car for me
AS= yes I can daddy
AR= ( picks him up) I got you buddy everything will be okay
PJ= I hope so
Adam puts the boys into the car and drives straight for the hospital they arrive within 10 minutes and goes and finds someone to help
PJ= uncle Adam I want my dad and mom
AR= I know buddy I'll get them soon once we have someone to help us
MN= hey how may I help you
AR= hello my nephew here he was playing and he fell...
WH= oh my god Adam is that Porter
AR= yes it is
WH= what happen to him
AR= he fell off the Monkey bars and hurt his arm Badly
PJ= uncle will my arm hurts
WH= I know buddy hey nurse can you page dr. Manning and have her met me in exam room one
MN= sure can doctor
WH= let's go over here ( points)
AR= all right
NM= hey will what ... ( see Porter ) oh hey buddy what happened
PJ= I feel and hurt my arm
NM= oh I'm so sorry buddy
WH= hey nurse call for an X-ray
MN= got it doctor ( they do)
XT= here I am
WH=all right let's step out
AR= I feel really bad.
WH= it's not your fault have you called jay or Erin to let them know what happened with him yet
AR= oh my god I totally I was just focus on getting home here
NM= that is totally fine how about you go call jay and we can watch the boys for you if you want
AR= all right thanks guys
WH= it's no problem
AR= ( walks away and phone rings) hey jay
J= hey Adam where are you guys I'm at the park and I can't find you
AR= um well jay we were there at the park but there was an accident
J= what happened and which boy got hurt Ashton
AR= no Ashton is fine it was Porter that got hurt he was on the monkey bars and he fell and hurt his arm I took him to med he is with your brother and sister in law right now sorry I didn't call you earlier
J= it's no problem tell Porter I'll be right there
AR= all right ( hangs up) so jay is on his way.
WH= all right that's good
NM= I can tell you form my own experience that boys will always keep you on your toes when it comes to possible breaking bones and also we see more boys in the Er than girls with being hurt
AR= oh yeah
( back with jay) once I got off the phone with Adam I hurry up and get in the car and start driving to med and then I decide it was time to call Erin to tell her the news
E= hey babe are you done with your movie yet
J= um about that Erin
E= jay what is wrong I can just tell by your voice that something is wrong
J= so Adam had to watch Porter because I had to meet with an ci and he took the boys to a park and he was playing and fell off the monkey bars, hurt his arm and now he is at med with Will and Natalie getting checked out
E= oh my all right I'll drop Camryn off with Hank and I'll meet you there
J=all right see you soon babe
E= see you
Once I hang out with Erin I arrive at med within 1o minutes and go look for them
AR= hey jay over here
J= hey Adam hey Ashton how is it going here
AR= it's going
E= hey guys where is us Porter
AR= he is in there go ahead
J= all right thanks ( in the room)
E= hey there is my big guy
PJ= hey mommy hey daddy
J= so how is it going in here how bad is it
NM= overall the news isn't too bad
J= okay so what's the news
WH= mister Porter here has broken his arm in two pieces
E= wow really that's crazy
NM= oh yeah this is what life is like with boys they are wilder than having girls believe me
J= oh yeah I can see that
WH= also buddy you will need to wear a cast
NM= but the good news is you can pick the color of your case so what color would you like it be
PJ= um I can't decide between two colors how do I choose
WH= well what if I told you that you dine have to choose because you can have both colors if you want
PJ= wait really
WH= oh yeah you can have two colors so what colors would you like
PJ= can I have blue and red please just like caption American
NM= you got it little man
WH= we will be right back ( they leave)
E= wow your special you get to have tow colors on your cast
J= I guess it works that your uncle and aunt work here because you get to have two color
PJ= oh yeah that's awesome
We hang out with Porter as we wait on him to get a cast on his arm, within 30 minutes someone came and put the cast on his arm abs now we wait on the papers to discharge Porter
NM= hey buddy we got good news
PJ= you do
WH= oh yeah you can go home now buddy but try and not to break your other arm
E= oh yeah let's hope not
NM= if he is in pain you can give him some children Tylenol
J= all right
WH= and I think since me and Natalie are almost off work here soon maybe we will bring the cousin and come bring some food to eat with you guys
NM= how does that sound buddy
PJ= great
E= oh that cool we haven't seen the cousin in forever
WH= oh yeah they miss you guys
PJ= same here
Once we sing the papers we gather are thing up and head out to the cars
J= so Porter who's do you want ti ride home with me or mommy
E= actually before you answer that Porter I should tell you guys that when I drop Camryn off with Hank he actually just drive me over here so that we only had one car once he got discharged
J= that was very nice of him
E= oh yeah let's go home then
We all get into my car and head home about two hours later a Knock at the door comes
CN= who is that mommy
PJ= I know who it is, it's uncle will, aunt Natalie and our cousin
J= ( opens door) hey I thought it was my brother and not the pizza man
WH= haha you are so not funny Jay we only have these many pizza because you have a lot of kids
E= oh come on we only have two more kids then you guys
NM= he is only joking
OM= hey uncle jay is Porter able to play with me
J= He should be able to why don't you guys go inside and play
CE= all right let's go maverick
Everyone head inside and we all eat our pizza about 30 minutes later we are all done eating
WH= hey buddy can I sign your case
NM= same here
PJ= you sure can
WH= wow it's already sign
PJ= yeah mommy, daddy, and my sister sing e it when I got home
NM= wow that's cool ( they sign it)
PJ= can we go play outside into bed time
E= you sure can but please be careful buddy
PJ= okay ( they all go outside)
J= it kind of sucks that this incident happened right when it's the start of summer
WH= oh yeah but at least it's at the beginning because once six weeks is up he can enjoy the rest of the summer
E= that's a good point
NM= oh yeah that reminds me ( grabs something) we brought this with us since we forgot to give it to you at the hospital
WH= but lucky we were going to see us so we brought it with us
J= good thing
E= but what is it
NM= well since Porter has a cast on his arm he isn't allowed to get it wet
J= oh really why is that
WH= if Porter gets his cast we'd it could cause an infection
E= oh we don't want that to happen
NM= no so this is to help make sure it doesn't get wet when he takes a bath or go swimming
J= well why thank you
NM= your welcome
WH= all right so I got a question for you guys
E= you do what's up
WH= okay do the other day I thought I saw you go and see an OBGYN doctor and I want to know are you guys pregnant again because you guys don't need to have another one right now
NM= that's mean to say to your brother and Erin will but if you guys are having another baby we can't wait to meet the newest member
J= okay first of all we aren't having another kid right now
E= we are pretty content with the five kids we have
NM= that's totally fine
WH= but why did I see you there
J= well remember years ago I told you about Erin's little brother teddy
WH= oh yeah I remember but what about him
E= well him and his future husband came to town to visit and said they told us they wanted to start a family soon but they
NM= their problem is they are both men so they need more help to start a family
E= exactly so they asked me to be their surrogate
WH= wow really
J= oh yeah we both were shocked when they asked her
E= so I thought about it for a while talked it over with jay and my doctor and I decide that I would like to but only if they moved back to Chicago to go through this with me
J= which they says yes because Teddy's fiancé got a job offer he wasn't sure he wanted to take but then when Erin said she would be their surrogate they decide to take the job offer
E= so will that's why you saw us the other day we went to talk with an I'VF specialist and get more information
WH= okay that makes sense sorry I said that about you guys that you shouldn't have anymore kids
J= it's no big deal I totally understand why you reacted like that I would of find the same to you
NM= so how is the surrogate journey doing
E= it's going good
For the next hour or two we talk about the surrogate stuff and catch up with them they leave later and we put all the kids to bed and go to bed ourself
