Ark was quiet as he cooked some food, not for Mordred, just himself. His sister told him that Morgan had something to say to her and Ark didn't say anything. The Mage knew what was coming and didn't bother stopping it.

The sound of the front door crashing open didn't make Ark flinch as he stared down at the bowl off before him. For some reason Ark didn't feel hungry yet he made a bowl of food...

"Ark, you won't believe this!" Mordred said running towards her brother full speed with excitement in her voice. The Boy however didn't react for a second before realizing he was being talked too.

"Huh? Oh, what is it?" Mordred narrowed her eyes then pushed it aside, thinking it was Ark lossed in space, which is something he has been doing a lot recently.

"We're King Arthur's Sons!" Mordred screamed as her eyes flashed with the usual emotions about the so called Perfect king. Ark faked his suprise as he stared at Mordred with a shock expression that he has been practicing on for a while.

"What!" Ark got out of his chair and looked down at his sister who was just a head shorter then him. Mordred grinned and nodded her head. "How did you come to that conclusion?" The Mage watched as Mordred's face shifted into a light scowl.

"Mother told me." He stared at his sister with a deadpan look, but didn't question why she trusted that witches words. Ark didn't understand why Mordred instantly think that was true, then again the evidence was staring right at her. If Ark tried really hard he can look exactly like Proto-Saber, but he didn't cause what if the Master from Grand Order summons Proto-Saber AND Ark, there would be a lot of confusion.

"Oh... well what now?" Ark let the words slip out while Mordred looked thoughtful, which was something that the Male has been teaching her. Think before you act. There was silence between them before the Knight looked determined.

"Lets go tell him..." The Mage grimaced and looked away from Mordred's face. He couldn't do it, cause if he physically heard what Artoria will say to Mordred which would rightfully piss him off and he didn't need to cause more trouble as it is. "Ark, you're coming with me, right?" She watched as the male shook his head.

"No, just you Momo, I..." Ark didn't know what to say, he just didn't like facing Artoria and saying that to her face, the only thing he can do now is delay the inevitable. "I just don't-"

The sound of the door slamming shut made Ark become silent. He looked ahead and didn't see Mordred anywhere. The Mage's hands balled up as his anger spiked to levels he didn't know was possible. Ark summoned Excalibur Oblivion and let his rage take over. He trashed the whole house showing no mercy to anything.

After a few minutes Ark stopped and looked at the damage, everything was destroyed. Excalibur Oblivion vanished from his hands as he stumbled over to a chair that was still standing. The Male didn't know what to do now, the rebellion was going to begin and he wasn't sure how long it lasted... he just hoped it was a quick one.

It has been a few since Ark has last seen Mordred, she never came back shouting with unwavering anger or come back crying her eyes out since he specifically told her that it was OK for her to cry in his presence... she just never came back all together. Ark started to get worried that Mordred did something she shouldn't have.

That was the case until the door practically flew off the Hinges, adding onto the already messy house. Ark looked up to see Mordred walking into the room In her full suit of armor, helmet and all. Clarent was hanging by her side as she looked around the room before the slit of her eyes landed on the Mage.

"You knew didn't you..." Ark felt uncomfortable by how emotionless Mordred said that. He had no clue where she was going and got more worried the closer she got to him.

"What do you mean?" Ark said standing up and started backing away from the what he only see is a soon to be broken Knight. "I don't get what you mean Mom-" Clarent was held up to his neck making Ark stop.

"You knew that Father would say those things to me and didn't want to witness it... you also knew what he would say next." Mordred growled with so much hate that it physically hurt the Mage.

Wait... what did Artoria say next after that? He didn't know there was more to say after that. Ark tried to think of what the King could say after...

No, no! no! no! NO NO! Ark was constantly shouting In his head. Artoria did not say that... there was no way, he was being anonymous for a reason. She wouldn't be this stupid right?

"You knew Father would give you the crown, right?" Ark froze as he stared at his sister with an unreadable expression. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, it was retarded, it was FUCKING RIDICULOUS!

"I..." Ark truly didn't have a response, because he was thinking how dumb Artoria was, if he was there the Mage would have straight up laughed in her face... and probably continue laughing...

"You knew!" Ark jumped back as Mordred swung her sword nearly slicing her brother's throat open. "You knew about us being his sons, yet you didn't say anything!" Mordred rushed forward making Ark quickly cast his most strongest Alteration spell. EbonyFlesh. Raising his arm he blocked the sword aimed at his side.

"I didn't know shit about the Arthur, nor did I want the title of King to begin with!" Ark growled as he knocked the sword aside only to block a fist from hitting his face. Narrowing his eyes Ark raised his foot and kicked Mordred in the chest which didn't do much since she was wearing armor. "And why would I take the crown! You and Merlin know me well enough that I'm nowhere near worthy at being King!"

Ark prepared to summon Aether, but froze, he didn't want to hurt his sister to badly, if this was anybody else, the Mage would show no mercy no matter what they say...

"Back... OFF!" Ark shouted as he launched Mordred into a wall knocking off her helmet thanks to him using his much weaker knockback spell that Merlin taught him. "I don't want to hurt you Momo." The Knight got up and readied her sword.

"Good, that makes it easier for me!" Ark grit his teeth. What the hell has gotten into her, why was she be so irrational. "Now hold still while I cut you down!" Ark lowered his head before he suddenly summoned Excalibur Oblivion making the Female paused as he held tightly in his hands.

Mordred didn't question it at all. She simply growled and charged forward with a roar. Ark blocked a Powerful overhead swing making him buckle under the pressure. He knocked the weapon to the side and jumped back slightly. There was no point in talking to Mordred she was do far deep in her rage, the only thing to do is stall for time until Merlin comes and saves his ass.

Ark charged forward while Mordred did the same. Both swords clashed together slamming together every few seconds. The Mage was obviously the one losing while Mordred, a trained Knight was easily overpowering him, but Ark wanted this too happen, a classic tactic he used on Merlin a couple of years ago.

Blocking another attack aimmed at his neck, Ark quickly activated one of his illusion spell which he overrides with both Prana and Magicka.

Fear...

"I'm sorry Mordred." Ark slammed his shoulder against his sister's chest making her stumble back before he sent out his spell hitting her dead on. He watched as Mordred's eyes glazed over and her body starts trembling. She looked around frantically as if there was something surrounding her.

"No, wait, I didn't mean it! I didn't mean to kill you!" Mordred said as she stumbled backward, Clarent hitting the ground with a clang. "I was just angry that Father picked you over me, why would he pick a Mage over a Knight?" Ark grimaced as Mordred trembled and fell to the floor.

He watched as the proud Knight slowly became a sobbing mess as she curled up into ball. "I'm sorry Ark, I didn't mean it, I..." Ark felt a hand land on his shoulder making him turn to see Merlin giving him a sad look. The Mage nodded as they both disappeared leaving behind a sobbing Knight who tried her best to snap out of it.

"Ark..." Merlin said as the duo appeared In their training room. The Mage didn't say anything as he walked over to his table and grabbed all of his things and placed it into two separate leather satchels which he strapped to his waist.

"I don't want to talk about it, Merlin." Ark said simply as he finished storing everything away. "What you saw was an Overcharged spell that did more damage then necessary." Ark held up his palm holding a red orbs which left off small screams of fear and shouts of pain. "How long will this war last Merlin..." The wizard frowned at his Apprentice, before sighing.

"A few months." Ark blinked, he wasn't really that surprised honestly. It wasn't something he was looking forward to however. The mage knew what is going to happen and could only sit back and watch... for now. "Ark, Artoria is coming."

"I know, let her." Ark growled as he continued to face his table. Not a few seconds later the door opened and Artoria walked into the training room, she paused however when her eyes landed on the Mage of Interest. However the King can feel the anger coming off the boy and knew who it was directed towards. "Make it quick Artoria..." Ark said giving her a side glare as he went back to pack his stuff.

"I wish to speak with you." Ark paused and held back a chuckle as he let Artoria continue. "It's about my time as king-"

"Go fuck yourself." Both Wizard and King leaned back slightly at Ark's words. He grabbed a dull purple crystal which Merlin had on him and looked it over. Storing it in his satchel. "I don't give a single fuck about this castle or its people, I was never worthy to be King and never will be." Ark walked up and looked down at Artoria who stared up at him. "There was only one person who I cared about, but you decided to turn her against me." Ark said glaring at the King as he shoved past her.

"And where are you going my Apprentice." Merlin asked, but already knew the answer that was coming. Ark already told the Wizard his plan and the older man will admit, he will miss having his Apprentice around...

"Leaving, and I'm never coming back, so enjoy the shit show that is soon to come, and Fuck you King Arthur, what you did today is unforgivable." Ark slammed the door shut as he walked down the hall of Camelot. He looked around the halls and knew they will soon be In ruins. He paused however and decided he still needed speak with someone.

Ark snapped his fingers and a purple portal opened in front of him. He stepped through it and saw his wooden house. He slowly approached it and pushed opened the door. And there sat Mordred still curled up into a ball as she stared at a wall with blank eyed.

The Mage slowly walked forward and stood in front of her. Mordred didn't react for a second before she suddenly blinked and looked down at his feet. He watched as her eyes trailed upward then connect with his.

Both stood there in awkward silence. Ark decided to speak up knowing Mordred had nothing to say at the moment.

"Wanna Sprite Cranberry?"

Advance: FUCK!

Devil: Side tracked again!

"You know I'm not mad right?" Mordred didn't response. "I'm just disappointed you acted that way." Once again no response. A sigh left Ark lips as he sat beside the Knight and wrapped an arm around making the female flinch slightly, until she slowly wrapped her own arm around the Mage.

"I'm sorry..."

"I know, I am too." There was another silence before Ark stood up and walked over to the destroyed Kitchen. He scavenged what he could find and picked up a metal pot and used his magic to cook some food, but this time he put all his heart into this meal. After grilling the two large steaks he saved for a special event...

After making that, Ark quickly peeled some potatoes that he stole from the castle and boiled them in another pot of water while adding some salt to it.

Mordred lifted her head at the smell of food and turned to see Ark work his magic in the kitchen.

(Advance: Pun intended)

She watched as he easily moved around the destroyed kitchen as if his didn't hinder him at all. Ark used some his fire magic to quickly heat up the pots and pans before he started mixing seasonings together and looking at them critically. After that Ark mashed the potatoes and kept adding a bit more salt when needed.

After that Ark grabbed two intact plates and placed one steak on them then placed a generous amount of mashed potatoes next to the steaks. He grabbed two forks and Knives before the Mage walked over to Mordred and sat beside her.

"Here, my best steaks yet." Mordred gently reached out and grabbed the second plate. She stared down at the food and can't help, but feel like this is her last meal that Ark will ever cook for her. But none the less she grabbed her fork and Knight and sliced a bit of the steak off. The inside was a bit red while the outside was cooked a dark brown.

The Knight took a bite of the steak and felt her taste buds explode with many different flavors unknown to her that a lone tear was rolling down her cheek. Ark saw this, but didn't comment on it, he just continued to eat his food.

"This... is the last meal we're having together isn't it." Mordred said making Ark pause before look at his sister with a sad smile. "I..." Mordred looked away before she wrapped an arm around Ark who chuckled slightly.

"Yes it is... after what happened, I feel like I need to leave..." Ark said taking a bit of mashed potatoes enjoying the taste for a second.

"I... don't want you to leave." Ark was silent once more before he took another bite of food. "I can't function properly without you nearby... I feel like I might lose my way without you." Mordred took another small bite of food knowing that she needed to make this taste last for as long as possible.

"Mordred, You need to learn how to take your own path without me to guide you, I told you before that I won't always be there for you." Ark said softly as he tossed aside his empty plate. "But I will guide you one more time." Mordred looked at her younger brother and from time to time she keeps forgetting that he is the younger one and she is the oldest.

"Thanks Ark." Mordred poked her plate and realized she already finished her food... a small sigh left her lips as she tossed the plate aside.

"Do what you think is right..." Ark said simply. What? Did you expect some really long explanation or wise words. Hell no, Ark was a simple person and simple words are his way to go. "Whatever path you take, I will always encourage you to follow that path."

"I want to kill King Arthur." Mordred said with a growl waiting to see Ark reaction, but he only nodded his head and pat her back. "You'll..." She stopped herself and nodded her head with a determined look on her face.

"But why?" Mordred paused and saw what Ark was doing, she needed a reason to do what she was doing, cause a reason with a purpose is nothing and stupid.

"So that I can rule over Camelot and show King Arthur that I CAN be a good king... and for you to return and become my Court Wizard/Personal Chief." Ark chuckled and stood up along with Mordred who turned towards him.

"It's a start, but how far are you willing to go?" Ark walked outside with Mordred close behind. He turned around to face his sister and saw the determined look spread across her face and knew this was it, the start of the Rebellion.

"Will you return when I am King?" Mordred only saw him smirk and nod his head. "When you do prepare a feast for just the two of us!" The Knight added while the Mage chuckled and pat the female on the head.

"I'm going to say it again Mordred, I'm proud of you... sis." Mordred twitched slightly before she took a deep breath and chuckled which was similar to Ark's laugh.

"Me too bro... me too." They stood there before Mordred groaned to herself and hugged the Mage who laughed. "Just shut up and hug me back." Ark did so before they separated.

"Well, this is it... good luck on your Rebellion Mordred." Ark said a smirk that Mordred returned. Ark turned around and walked away from the area.

"Wait!" Ark looked back to see Mordred draw her sword Clarent and stab it into the ground. She gave him a proper Knight bow. "Good luck Ark and I hope to see you again soon..." Ark smiled slightly and gave his own proper bow. He stood up straight and continued his walk into the forest, Mordred watching him as he disappeared in the woods.

The Knight sighed and looked to see the sun lowering into the earth. She held Clarent tightly as her eyes hardened.

"Father I will kill you and when I do Ark will come back and things will go back to normal."

LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak

Ark blinked slightly as he returned to the present. He slid towards Mordred's body and winced at the large wound in her stomach. He reached out and placed a hand on her armored shoulder. The Mage was surprised to see her still breathing, but it must very painful to do.

"Mordred?" Ark said shaking her slightly hoping to get a response. After a few seconds Mordred lifted her head showing her dark green eyes which were slowly becoming more dull by the second. It honestly broke his heart seeing this.

"Ark... you came back." Mordred coughed up a large amount of blood. She went limp against the wall as her eyes bored into the Mage's eyes "It seems... that I won't be able to become King, and we won't have that feast either..." Mordred's breathing grew more rag. "I'm sorry to disappoint you..." Mordred reached out and grabbed Ark's hand who tightened his grip slightly.

"Mordred you'll never disappoint me, you did what you could and that is enough for me." Ark said holding back his tears when he saw Mordred give him a small smile, her teeth covered in blood. "Remember what I always said to you Mordred, I'm proud of you."

Ark reached out and hugged the Knight who twitched in pain, but didn't care as she slowly hugged her brother back, but this time tears were rolling down her cheek.

"Ark... take me sword... and show the world what we Pendragon Siblings are all about." Mordred rasped as she greatly struggled to lift her sword. Ark went wided eyed as he gently grabbed Mordred's sword and looked it over seeing the blood of King Arthur stain the beautiful sword. "Please, promise me that you will show the world our strength..." Ark felt Mordred's hand go limp in his hands as he stared at her dull green eyes.

"I promise." Ark mumbled as he grabbed Clarent and turned away from his sister's body. He saw people surrounding King Arthur's body and knew what is happening, so he calmly walked up to the ground who paused and turned to see Ark staring at them will dull green eyes. "Take this sword to the lady of lake along with King Arthur, I hope you can do that." Ark said throwing the sword of promised Victory at one of the Knight's feet.

"W-who are you." One of the Knight's asked. Ark glared at them before he smirked. "You look like the king, but you also look like the rebel leader.

"My name Is Ark Pendragon, Son to Arthur Pendragon, brother to Mordred Pendragon, and Apprentice to Merlin." The Knights went wide eyed as Ark walked passed them and away from the area, Clarent held tightly in his hand. "However to this day Ark Pendragon died in Camelot like a coward and leave it at that." The Mage shouted as he disappeared from sight.

Ark continued walking his armor gleaming into the Knight with Clarent in one hand while the other hand held Excalibur Oblivion.

"I promise Mordred, I'll show this world our power, that is my wish, to fulfill my sister's dream." Ark continued walking with no destination in mind. "And nobody will get in my way..."

A few hundred years later.

Grey backs up as the people she trusted turn against her, they didn't care about her, they only wanted the piece of Rhongomyniad so they can do something with it, they even kill her for it.

"Please somebody save me!" Grey cried as the Villagers jumped at her. Suddenly a bright light happened in between them knocking the people back. The girl covered her eyes as the bright light felt warm and soothing against her skin, almost like she was getting a big hug from someone close to her. She never even noticed the burning feeling happening on the back of her hand.

"Servant Class Caster, tell me little one, are you my master?" A slightly young male voice said making Grey slowly open her eyes to see a man who looked to be in his 20s staring at her with his arms crossed.

He had short blond hair that shined like gold with emerald green eyes. He stood at 181cm (Someone say what that is in foot cause I don't know) In a full suit of armor that made him look like one of those Knights in a story book.

"Um." Ark rolled his eyes and turned around to look at the shocked Villagers. The Mage grinned as his hands burst into flames. Grey stared at the person before her, for some reason she felt connected to him and didn't know why.

"Hey little girl, you might want to stand back, cause I'm about to turn up the heat!" Ark laughed as he sent out a wave of fire making the Villagers run away screaming. "Burn! You fucking pricks!" Ark said as he started to burn down all the house since he didn't see any kids here except for Grey.

Grey silently followed this man who showed no mercy to this village, at first she felt pity for them, but after they tried to kill her, she could care less about them. After a couple of minutes, the duo walked out of the village before turning towards each other.

"Alright kid, what's your name?" Ark asked crossing his arms. "If you tell me your name I'll tell you mine." Ark said making the girl look up at him.

"Grey..." The girl said making Ark blink, he knew the girl's name, but he was more curious on how he got summoned, cause he didn't have anything to summon him.

"Cute name, anyways, my name is Ark Pendragon and Servant to you." Ark said poking grey on the nose who went crossed eyed at that until what he said at first registered.

"Wait, Ark Pendragon?" Ark nodded his head enjoying her reaction on trying to figure out who he was. "Don't you mean Arthur Pendragon?" Ark gave her a deadpan look and bonked her on the head. "Ow!" Grey rubbed her head and looked at... her Servant with a frown.

"No, I'm the son of Arthur Pendragon and younger brother to Mordred Pendragon." Ark said while Grey looked at him with interest. "You never heard of me cause I was not that important in history... thankfully" Ark mumbled as last part to himself before shaking his head.

"So Grey, how did you summon me?" Grey looked at the Servant with a curious expression.

"I... summoned you?" Ark groaned cause he had a feeling that this will take a while to explain. So that is what Ark did, he explained everything he could in the most simplest way possible. After the explanation Grey looked down slightly.

"It is because of Rhongomyniad?" Grey asked curiously making Ark clench his chest at her cute expression that might have given him

"Father's spear?" Ark said curiously while Grey nodded. "Huh... highly unlikely, if anything that's supposed to summons King Arthur cause that is his spear." Ark looked Grey over trying to seem like he is remembering something. "Now that I look at you, who are you exactly cause you look like someone I know." Ark asked.

"Apparently I was believed to be a descendent of King Arthur."

"Really... cool, so what does that make you to me?" Grey shrugged while Ark did the same. "Alright, well lets get going, Master." Grey looked startled slightly at what Ark said and shook her head.

"Just call me by name, that makes me uncomfortable." Ark only chuckled and gave her a thumbs up.

"No problem." Ark said as the duo started walking away from the burning Village. They were silent had enough of the silence and decided to ask her servants some questions, which he didn't mind to answer.

"So you're a Caster?"

"Yep."

"Do you know a lot of things about Magic?"

"Yep."

"I'm guessing you were taught by Merlin?"

"Yep."

"Do you have a sword similar to Excalibur."

Yep."

"You're going to keep say 'yep aren't you." Grey deadpanned while Ark smiled at her.

"Yep." Grey groaned whole Ark chuckled at her face. Another silence between ensures. "So do you have any idea where we're going?"

"Nope."

"Nice, that's the way I roll." Ark summoned Arvak making Grey jump at the sudden skeletons horse. "Don't worry he's friendly." The Mage pat the horse on the back. "So come on this will be faster." Ark hopped on the horse and looked at Grey who looked nervous.

"It's that uncomfortable? Riding on the horse without a saddle?"

"Yep." Grey deadpanned at him as he yanked her up on the horse. "Hold on tight!" Arvak took off, his hooves stomping the ground in quick succession as the followed the path leading towards a forest. Grey smiled slightly as the wind pressed against her face. She wrapped her arms around the male's waist so she doesn't fall off the horse.

"So how old are you?" Grey asked through the wind.

"20." Ark yelled back as he guided Arvak along the path. "The fall of Camelot happened 2 years ago for me, when I was 18." Ark said smiling back at Grey. "We can talk more about this later!"
