A few days went by and the only thing Paige and Harry did was look at each other. They did try talking to each other but Draco was keen on keeping them apart.

While Draco was still asleep, Paige walked towards the Great hall when someone yelled at her.

'Oi, look who we have here.' She turned around to see the twins.

'Hey, what is a lovely girl like you doing here all by herself?' The other one said.

'Going to get some food, I'm hungry.' Paige said with a kind smile.

'Wait, no mean comment or saying we need to shut up?'

'No, why would I? I do recall one of you thinking I'm smashing.' The right one started blushing, the other let out a small giggle. 'So what are your names?'

'This one's Fred, and I'm George.' The one on the left said, hitting his blushing brother on the shoulder.

'Well, great meeting you two. I heard from Harry that you two like pranks?'

'Oh, yeah.' George said cheerfully, with a big grin on both their faces.

'Harry told you that?' Fred asked Paige nodded.

'Yeah, but anyhow if you two ever need help. I will be glad to lend a hand.' She said winking and walking off. Leaving Fred and George standing with a cocky smile on their faces.

When the twins went to their table they sat down next to Ron and Harry.

'Know that new girl?' Fred asked.

'Yeah.' Harry and Ron said at once.

'She is not what we expected.' George said, looking at the Slytherin table where Paige was telling a joke and everybody was laughing. 'It's probably a good joke.'

'Yeah.' Fred and Ron said.

'What do you guys think it's about?' Harry asked when Hermione sat down opposite of him.

'Why don't you just ask her?' She said, grabbing a book.

'Ask her? She is probably the princess of Slytherin by now.' Fred said dramatically.

'She is standing up!' Said Ron pointed at Paige who was, just like he said, standing up with an apple in her mouth walking out of the Great hall.

'Maybe she'd be interested in the S.P.E.W.?' Hermione muttered, but the boys were already out of the Great hall themselves.

'Paige wait!' Fred and George yelled. She stopped and turned around; a smile appeared on her face.

'Hello.'

'Paige, we wanted to ask you something…' Ron muttered, not sure why they ran after her.

'Really? Well ask.'

An awkward silence filled the hall. None of the boys had thought this through.

'Are you familiar with the school yet?' George said quickly, continuing the conversation. 'Yeah, you need a tour!' Fred added. 'and no one knows the castle as well as we do. Including the secret passages!' He finished with a meaningful expression.

'Really now? I'm all up for secret passages!' Paige said enthusiastically.

'Do you like the school so far?' Ron stumbled in.

'Yeah, it's great. Lovely people.'

'Even the Slytherins?' Ron asked skeptically.

'Yeah, but they are probably nice to me because of my parents. We're an old bloodline you know. Just like the Malfoys.' Paige shrugged again, taking another bite out of the apple.

'So they're afraid.' Fred said.

'Yes, but I'm not someone who would say. "My father will hear of this".' She suspiciously sounded like Draco as she said the last part.

'Yeah and we do not know anyone who does.' Harry said, rolling his eyes, Paige laughed.

'You're right. He is such a baby sometimes. I heard that he was attacked by a Hippogriff.'

'Well, it was his own fault.' Ron said.

'I thought so. I know Hippogriffs and I think they are lovely. What did he do then?'

'He didn't listen to Hagrid and said something insulting to him.' Harry explained, Paige slapped herself on the forehead.

'Of course he does something that stupid.' She said, rolling her eyes.

'Paige!' They heard an icy voice, and she turned around to see.

'Dra-Dra!' She said cheerfully, hugging her blond friend.

'Paige…Paige stop.' Draco tried to say. 'Paige, why are you talking to those filthy people?' He hissed, eyeing them up and down.

Paige reacted surprised, 'Don't say things like that.' She sounded genuinely upset about it. 'They just wanted to ask me something, they were just being nice!'

'Yeah we're just having a conversation.' Fred stated. 'About that.. If you ever need quality company, let us know.' The twins walked on, still getting dirty looks from Draco.

'And what are Potty and the weasel still doing here?' He sneered at Harry and Ron. 'Don't you have somewhere better to be?'

'Draco that's enough!' Paige ordered. 'Don't be so unpleasant!'

Draco looked beyond angry, grabbing her hand and storming off. With Paige's free hand she waved at Harry and Ron with a weak smile.

After minutes of being drawn by Draco she stopped him. He turned around looking angry.

'WHY?' He yelled.

'Why what?'

'Why are you nice to them?'

'Because they're nice, you should try to do that for once Draco. See how many people will be nice to you too.' She said angrily. 'Why do you dislike them so much? Are you so jealous?'

'I'm not jealous, Paige.' He said trying to stay calm.

'Then what is it? I heard from many that those twins are very funny. Maybe if you would let your pride down you would think so too.'

'You know what my father would do if he finds out that I think they're funny?' Draco said, Paige's eyes opened wide and a smirk came on her face.

'So you're admitting you think they're funny?' A silence came; Draco probably just realized what he had said.

'I'm going to the library.' He mumbled walking away.

'Damn boy.' Paige said looking around to see where she was and realized that she was, again, lost. 'DRACO!' She yelled but he was already gone.

'Need some help?' A voice asked behind her. Paige turned around and saw Fred.

'George?' She asked, relieved. 'I'm glad you're here, I have no idea where I am.' she said 'Could you show me the way?'

'Sure.' Fred said grinning. 'Should I get him for you? Or is it okay if it's me?' Paige's face turned red.

'It's fine, our mother doesn't even know the difference at times.'

'So, where is your other half?' She asked, walking towards him.

'I could be asking you the same thing, Paige.' Fred said, raising an eyebrow. 'Yeah George, ..well he is somewhere.'

'Sounds mysterious, mine is in the library.'

'Well since Draco dunghole isn't bothering you at the moment, can I show you something?'

'Yeah, sure.' Paige looked intrigued.

'Good, come on.' He said walking away with a brisk pace. Paige directly followed.

When he stopped they were looking at a painting.

'You wanted to show me a fruit painting?' Paige asked looking from the still to Fred with an eyebrow raised.

'Not quite.' Fred said tickling the pear and the painting became a door. 'I wanted to let you see this.' He said as he walked through.

'Oh my… These are the kitchens!' Paige said, jumping up and down clapping her hands. 'Can we go in?'

'Sure.' Fred held out his hand, helping her in. Many house elves were working, cooking or washing the dishes.

'Miss Prince!' A house elf yelled with cheer.

'Dobby!?'

'Miss Prince, it's been a long time. How is master Malfoy?' The little house elf said.

'You mean Draco?' Dobby nodded. Lucius, the last owner, wasn't that nice to him. He would always hit him and he treated him like garbage. Draco didn't respect him at first either but when Dobby saved Draco's and Paige's skins once, he was very nice to him. 'He is okay, I guess. He is a bit angry now.'

'What did you do?' Dobby asked with a smile.

'Oh nothing really, he is just too damn proud.'

'Would you like something to eat?' Dobby said changing the subject.

'No thank you.'

'And you Mister Weasley.'

'I would like an apple pie, some snacks and some pumpkin juice.'

'Just a second.' Dobby said and walked away.

'Breakfast's just finished, and you're already hungry?' Paige asked in disbelief.

'Yes I am.' Fred said, smiling proud. 'So why does Dobby like Malfoy?'

'One day Draco and I went to his fathers study. And it was forbidden to be there, but we went in anyway. Then we heard his father come up the stairs and there was no way out where he wouldn't see us. Then Dobby came and took us away. I really don't want to know what would have happened if Dobby didn't get us out.'

'I don't want to know either.' Fred said when Dobby came back with a basket full of food. 'Thanks Dobby.'

'You're welcome. Sure you don't want anything Miss Prince.'

'I'm sure, but thanks.' Paige said, Dobby made a bow and walked away.

'Come on, let's get out of here.' Fred said, she nodded and followed him to the hallway.

'Well I had fun.' Paige said. 'I should go, I already missed a class.'

'Sorry about that.' He said looking at his feet.

'Oh that's okay.' She said, patting him on the shoulder. 'Bye.'

'See you later!' Said Fred, as she walked away.

'Where were you?' Draco asked when she arrived at divination.

'Sorry I got distracted.'

'Hey Paige, I'm sorry I screamed at you.' Draco said shyly.

'It's okay. I still love you.' Said Paige winking at him, he smiled again.

'Today, we are going to read tea leaves.' Professor Trelawney said dreamily.

'Great.' Draco said sarcastically.

'Okay, what does mine say?' Paige asked Draco to give him her cup.

'Umm…it's a bird meaning freedom.' Trelawney grabbed Paige cup and looked.

'A deep affection, a foe ahead and mysteries unraveled.' She said and returned the cup back on their table.

'Really?' Both Paige and Draco said at once. 'That's going to be interesting.' Paige said cheerfully.

When class was over, Paige and Draco were having a discussion.

'It's not true, Paige. She always lies.' Draco said a bit angry.

'Maybe it's true.' Paige said back.

'It's not!'

'You don't know that!'

'But yes I do.'

'How do you know that?'

'Because she predicted that Potterhead would die and he is still alive, unfortunately.'

'Ha-Ha so funny.' Paige said, hitting him on the head. 'What's the next class?'

'We have defense against the dark arts coming up next.'

After the whole day went by. Before Paige knew it, it was three at night. She had trouble falling asleep.

'Oh come on. Let me sleep.' She cried in bed. After a few more seconds she jumped out of bed and opened her drawer, got out her book. It read Sherlock Holmes on the cover and she walked out of the Slytherin common room. Paige walked a long time and found herself somewhere in the astronomy tower. She sat down and began to read.

A few minutes later, she heard someone coming up the stairs. She was trying to hide but it was too late.

'Paige?' Harry asked when he saw her.

'Harry? You know how late it is?'

'Yes I actually do.' He said smiling. 'What are you doing here?'

'Well, again, I couldn't sleep and then I found myself here and decided to read instead.' Paige said, holding up her muggle book.

'What are you reading?'

'Sherlock Holmes.' She handed over her book and watched.

'But that's a muggle book?' Harry said curiously, looking from the book to Paige.

'Yeah I know.' Paige smiled but her eyes looked sad.

'Are you okay?' Harry asked, handing her book back.

'Yeah, I'm fine..' She said, nervously grabbing her book, looking at it. 'It's just, I'm glad I can read it without worrying.' Said Paige, still nervous. 'I hated to hide it from my parents.'

'I know how you feel,' Harry said kindly. 'I had to keep hiding my homework from my aunt and uncle.'

'Funny, you're not allowed anything that has to do with magic, and I'm not allowed to do anything involving muggles.' Paige noted not looking him in the eye.

'Apparently we have more in common than we think.' A short silence fell before Harry spoke again.

'So…deep affection, a foe and mysteries unraveling...' Harry said with a smirk.

'What? Oh yeah that.' Paige looked at how Harry sat down against the wall next to her. 'Honestly I have no idea what I should expect with that.'

'That's Trelawney for you.' Harry said looking up at the sky.

'This is a beautiful place.' Paige said, also looking.

'Yeah. You're right.'

'Do you like being famous?' Paige blurred out. The question shocked Harry a bit but he recovered fast.

'No, I don't. Not being able to say my own name without being stared at, sucks.' He looked at his hands. 'And I hate this scar, I mean, I often have to show it to people when they ask. It gets annoying after a while.' Paige turned to him, touching his hair to make it look a bit better.

'Well then it's a good thing your hair is so long, nobody can sees it like this.' She told him.

'Well that was my plan.' Harry said, making Paige laugh.

'You have beautiful eyes. Has anyone ever told you that?' She suddenly said,

Harry blushed.

'Well not like that, most of the time they say that I look like my father but have the eyes of my mother.' Harry said looking into her eyes. 'Yours are beautiful as well.'

'Thank you.' Paige said, scratching the back of her head. She felt herself getting red. 'I don't look like my mother nor my father. Although I'm definitely my fathers daughter, same kind of humor.'

'and your mother?' Harry asked sliding over a bit.

'My mom and I are nothing alike. Maybe that's why she doesn't like me.'

'I'm sorry to hear.'

'Don't be, you learn to live with it.' Paige replied.

'Yeah, I know what you mean.' They smiled at each other, feeling a warm feeling exploding in their hearts.

What is this feeling? Both Paige and Harry thought as they looked at the sky. Hands almost touching, wishing they could stay the whole night.
