"Many people call my Magic bullshit... I can't help but agree with them." - Ark Pendragon
Rin sprinted down the sidewalk before entering a familiar looking resident's place. She didn't bat an eye at anything, she only ran towards the main house. The young Master was quick to knock on the door while Archer was surprisingly quiet for once instead of giving his usual snide remarks.
"Master, I can't help but feel unnerved by that Caster's words." Archer spoke up, making Rin jump slightly. "I don't know whether he is lying about knowing my true name, but from how confident he looked, I say he was telling the truth." Archer frowned as he crossed his arms. This was an issue, some unknown servant might knows who he is, not only that, but Archer doesn't remember ever encountering a Caster like that In his past life, not only that said Caster looks similar to Saber, if anything he looked like the person that actually pulled Caliburn out of the stone... was this another version of King Arthur?
This might prove to be an issue for him... as long as it doesn't stop him from his goal then he doesn't care.
"Rin?" The door opened showing a male with dark red hair and brown eyes staring at the female curiously. "Do you need something?"
"Shirou, we might have an issue, I ran into another Servant." Shirou looked alarmed and quickly looked over Rin checking for wounds.
"Really! Are you ok, did the Servant hurt yo- ack!" Rin punched the Male on the head making the Redhead step back holding his head in pain. The female was pretty annoyed with Shirou's worrying, she had Archer, he would have protected her.
"Yes I am fine, my Servant was with me, besides it's not like the Servant could do anything especially in the morning." Shriou nodded and allowed Rin inside the house. "Where's Saber? I need to tell her something, cause it seems this Servant knew her when she was still alive." Shirou looked surprised by this.
"Well Saber is in the main room eating right now, I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." Shirou said while Rin quickly walked over to the main room. She needed to figure out who this Caster was, and if she didn't know any better, Rin would think that Caster also knows Sabers true name, which wouldn't be a surprise since the Servant seems so confident In his words.
"Rin?" Saber looked up from her large meal while the Master quickly walked towards the table and sat down. She was still worried that Saber didn't know who the Caster might be and the Servant could just be pulling their leg and trying to scare them.
"Saber, I ran into Caster." Saber looked at Rin alarmed as the faint memory of the other Caster from the last Grail War flashed through her head... she really hoped this Caster wasn't as bad.
"You did, what was he like?" Rin paused as she slowly realized something. When she was staring at Saber she also saw Caster in her place, it was like looking at a mirror, a really messed up mirror. "Rin?" The Master blinked as saw the worried look on Saber's face. "What happened?"
"Nothing, we just talked... turns out Caster knows a bit too much information... He knows who I am, he might know who Archer is too, but he could be lying about that part." Saber looked even more worried. "He also told me to tell you something, since apparently he seems to knows about the alliance between me and Shriou." Saber narrowed her eyes as she listened closely to what Rin has to say. "I believe it was someone you knew while you were still alive, cause judging by Caster Character, he wouldn't send random messages to Servants."
What? She didn't know many people who could possibly... be... a... Caster. No, no, no no! She only knows two people who could be a Caster Class... sadly one of them is actually impossible to summon in a grail war... the second one however... the King of Knight's heart started to race as her body started to be filled with dread.
"...What did he want you to say to me?" Rin blushed looking slightly embarrassed. With a small growl she grit her teeth and looked up at Saber with an annoyed look. She didn't want to say it, but she needed to know who this Caster was.
"He said: "Enjoy the shit show that is soon to come" Saber do you perhaps know who that person is?" Saber however didn't hear Rin because she was frozen in place as the familiar memory flashed through her head. She remembered walking in the magical training room and seeing both Merlin and Ark.
Merlin looked worried and Ark wasn't facing her, he looked to be packing up all his things and putting them in a bag. The talk ensured and she remembered Ark angrily walking over to the door and turning towards her. The words continued to echo through her head repeatedly.
"Leaving, and I'm never coming back, so enjoy the shit show that is soon to come, and Fuck you King Arthur, what you did today is unforgivable!"
Saber could only stare ahead before someone shook her shoulder making the Servant turn to see Rin giving her a worried look. The blond female didn't know how to react to this...
But Saber remembered seeing him walk towards her on the hill top. His expression was blank showing no emotions. That's when he finally noticed her lying down on the ground. She didn't remember what Ark said, Saber only remembered him running towards her and pulling her into a hug and starting cradling her like a baby.
He cared about her, but why did he suddenly care about her even after the talk that happened so long ago, Ark obviously showed how much he disliked her and wished to never see her again. It was definitely confusing to see the Mage once more holding her tightly in his arms... yet for those last few seconds left, she enjoyed being held in his embrace... was this how Mordred felt? Someone carrying about them and making sure they felt safe...
She... she needed to find him, Saber needed to find Ark...
"Rin, where did you last see Caster?"

"Oh, I feel like Rin finally got my message too Artoria." Ark chuckled as he grabbed a fork and stabbed the piece of chicken off his plate. The Mage looked to see Gray eating slowly and neatly, but she still ate with surprising speed.
The Mage smiled at the sight before taking a sip of soda that he ordered. The familiar fizzy feeling entering his stomach was pleasing and only made him do one thing that he felt was appropriate.
BURP!
"That was some good food." Ark said with a smile while Gray laughed and took a sip of her own soda. She set the cup down and made face as if she was trying to concentrate.
Burp!
"Not bad, I'd give that burp a 6/10, it wasn't really deep and didn't have enough power or force behind it." Ark said criticizing Gray's burp like any Professional would... Ark knew he was being a bad influence, but he could honestly care less, Gray was having a good time and that was enough for him.
"Wait, how are we paying for this." Gray asked while Ark just smirked. The girl sighed, already figuring out what the male was planning. "Really? I thought we had money?"
"We did... but I also stole that too..." Gray facepalmed while Ark chuckled. He stood up from his seat and looked at Grey. "Might want to hold my hand for this one." The girl didn't hesitate to grab the male's hand before they suddenly became transparent.
"Wh-" Gray would have voiced her surprise if it wasn't for Ark to cover her mouth. She looked to where Ark might be standing, but didn't see anything.
"You have to whisper, the spell can break if we interact with anything or talk to loudly." Ark felt Gray nod as they slowly walked out of the Restaurant which was difficult since they had to dodge waiters coming their way and from bumping into tables.
When the duo finally reached the door, Ark felt his spell coming to an end so he quickly pulled Gray through the door and they both took off running, luckily they weren't seen by anyone so that was a plus.
"Why are we still running!" Gray yelled as she tried to keep up with Ark who chuckled and looked back at her with his usual smirk.
"No clue, I just feel like running for some reason." Gray felt her eye twitch as she came to a stop and so did the Mage. "Alright, we ate some food now, what's next?" Gray sighed and looked at their surroundings.
"Well... I'm not sure to be honest." Ark rolled his eyes and pats his Master on the head making her look up at him.
"Well, we still haven't explored the city yet, so let's look around and see what there is..." Ark smiled down at Gray, making the girl smile back at him. The Mage turned away and his smile dropped in a neutral face.
So the duo walked around town seeing the many different things this city has to offer. Gray was in awe at the sight of everything, Meanwhile Ark was intrigued by everything, he can remember how in his old life seeing the many shops and all the stuff they have to offer.
"Ark, is that a clothing store?" Ark turned to see Gray pointing at a store that was selling a lot of different clothes.
"It appears so, but why are you so- Where did she go?" Ark looked around for Gray because she suddenly disappeared. He looked at the clothing store and spotted Gray walking inside. The Mage let out a large sigh as he dragged himself into the clothing store. "Even now I still don't understand fashion, as long as the clothes feel nice then I don't care." Ark grumbled as he spotted Gray looking at the many clothes.
Gray didn't seem like a girl who would be interested In clothes, but how would Ark know cause this timeline is completely fucked.
Besides, Gray needs new clothes since she has nothing else to wear besides what she is wearing now, and those clothes make her stick out. If not for her clothes, then her face will, cause she looked exactly like Artoria.
Ark watched as Gray walked into a changing room. If the male has anything to go by she won't take long, cause Gray seems like someone who would wear something simple. The Mage heard the store door open once more, but didn't question it, people come and go in clothing stores daily.
"Ark." The Mage's brain came to a halt at the voice. He took a deep breath and let out a harsh sigh. Out of all the people, why the fuck does she have to go looking for him now! Ark expected her to go looking for him tomorrow, cause he wanted to go troll some more people, but noooo someone has to ruin his plans.
Ark slowly turned around and felt his eye twitch at the sight of Artoria or Saber. Sadly however she wasn't alone. Ark saw Rin and the person who wanted to save everyone or Shirou for short.
The older male held back a groan at the sight of them. He really didn't want to deal with them right now. He just knew for a fact Shirou will give him some bullshit reason to not hate Artoria.
Shriou was a cool guy, and Ark can respect the guy for his beliefs on wanting to save everyone, but his ideals were impossible and downright stupid.
"Who are you guys?" Ark asked while crossing his arms Rin glared at him, but looked around seeing a lot of civilians, showing she couldn't say anything that will blow their cover. "Well? And why are you staring at me?" Ark looked at Artoria who stayed silent.
"We know who you are Caster, and don't try to play dumb, I already told them." Rin whispered harshly towards Ark who smirked in amusement.
"I still have no clue what you're talking about, I'm here to simply enjoy my time here with my sister." Artoria's heart stopped as he looked around frantically trying to find another mop of blond hair within the store. Ark saw this and smirked. It seems Saber assumed that Mordred was here too, however he was talking about Gray, who could pass to be Ark's brother, just say that Gray got her looks from her mother's side and call it a day.
"Ark, do these look nice?" Ark flinched slightly while the others looked behind the Male to see a younger female... who almost looked exactly like Artoria.
Ark spun around and looked the female over. He nodded his head slowly at what he was seeing, the outfit definitely fits Gray.
Gray was wearing what looks to be a simple Grey t-shirt underneath a thin black hoodie that looked a tad bit too big for her, but she didn't mind. On her waist was a grey and back checkered shirt that went past her thighs. On her legs were a pair of black knee high socks and a matching pair of black boots.
Ark also took note that she was wearing a pair of gloves to cover her command seal which was good.
"You look go sis." Gray looked at Ark confused slightly, but she saw his eyes moving to the left, making her look and see a group of people she didn't know, then she noticed the blond female...
"Thanks bro." Gray said with a smile as she skipped forward making Ark internally laugh cause it seems the girl was trying to sell the appearance of a young innocent girl. Gray hugged Ark who hugged her back. He spun around with Gray in his arms to face the group.
"This is my Sister, she was In need of some new clothes so I brought her here." Rin narrowed her eyes and looked a Gray, she wasn't stupid this was Caster's Master... a little girl. Ark saw the look in Rin's eyes before it disappeared replacing it with resolve. This made the Mage furious.
Rin would kill Gray to get the holy grail... she would kill a little girl to get what she wants. There was a reason why Ark never liked Mangus, they were cold and ruthless, willing to put everything on the line to reach their goal.
Rin looked at Caster and saw him staring at her with so much intensity that it felt like he was trying to burn her alive with his glare alone.
Saber was staring at Grey then at Ark who was glaring at Rin. The Mage was pulling off a pretty good act of a big brother, it's almost like he was one before...
"Well if you're done bothering us, then we'll take our leave. Ark was about to walk past then before a hand fell on his shoulder making him look and was kind of surprised to see Archer out of all the people.
Ark expected him to stay hidden, but judging from Rin's surprised face she didn't expect him to appear either. Hmm this is a really interesting outcome. Ark tightened his arms around Gray who knew something was about to happen.
"Yes, we still wished to ask some questions." Archer asks calmly, making Ark chuckle causing Archer to narrow his eyes.
"Oh really? What could these questions possibly be..." Ark leaned in close so only Archer could hear him. "Shirou." Archer went wide eyed as he stumbled back slightly as if he had been struck.
"How do you-"
"Goodbye strangers." Ark said walking out of the store without paying for the clothes which the employees haven't noticed. Archer narrowed his eyes as his hands balled up, he went spiritual form without a word.
"We have to follow them." Saber said, making Shirou and Rin jump slightly at her words. Caster was obviously trying to avoid them and they still haven't figured out who Caster was besides his name, which really didn't help since Rin doesn't know anybody by the name of Ark during King Arthur's time as king.
The trio walked out of the store and saw Ark and his 'sister' walking the other direction from the store. They quickly gave chase towards the Duo.
"Saber, you still haven't told us who Ark is." Rin said as they continued to chase the duo who were picking up their pace. "Saber please, who is Ark." Saber was silent as if she was trying to find the right words to say this.
"Ark... Ark is my son." Rin blinked at what Saber said while Shirou blinked. Didn't Arthur only have one son? "And I know what you're thinking, yes I have more than one son..." Saber looked up to see Ark pick up the little girl and take off. "We must hurry before we lose them."

"Stupid Artoria and messing up my plans once again." Ark grumbled as he carried Gray princess style down the sidewalk. The Mage quickly tool a corner and ran into the nearby park. He looked around and knew he didn't have many places to hide since Archer can easily track their location.
Ark clicked his tongue and did a quick scan with his Life detection spell. The Mage was glad he didn't have anyone nearby which gave him the all clear on using his spells. He lowered Gray to the ground and pulled her behind him.
"Stay behind me." Gray nodded and looked past Ark to see the three Strangers turn the corner and face them. There was a stare down before Ark laughed. "Like the cover-up I made on the spot?" Ark glaring slightly at Artoria before looking at Shirou and giving him a once over just to make it seem like he is sizing him up.
"Ark... my son." Ark snapped his attention back towards Artoria with a furious look making the King shut her mouth.
"Silence Artoria!" Ark roared, making the King frown and steel herself. Rim took a step back, but Shirou looked to be wanting to take a step forward. "You take a step forward and I'll kill you before you could even blink." Ark shouted towards Shirou who paused, but steeled him.
"Wow, he really is an idiot." Ark and Gray thought at the same time. Caster shook his head and looked at Artoria with a deadpan look making the King's frown deepen.
"That is your Master?" Ark couldn't help but ask. The Caster made his hands burst into flames. "He looks really pathetic." The Mage growled before he suddenly spun around grabbing Gray and shielding her from an arrow that almost pierced her head, luckily his armor protected him. "Oh, you're really going to attack my Master, I don't think so."
Ark threw down his free arm and a bunch of different portals appeared in the park. The other group looked at the portals and watched as different creatures made of Fire, Ice, and lightning appeared from the portals.
"My friends!" Ark shouted, making his summons look at him. "Attack the king!" The Mage pointed at Artoria, making the summons all look at the King and quickly realize who it was. They didn't hesitate to attack the female.
Rin jumped back while Shirou grabbed a nearby tree branch and reinforced it. Artoria summoned her sword while her armor appeared on too.
Ark wasn't done, he summoned another portal and a normal sized fox stepped out of the portal. Kit shook his body and looked at his Summoner before fighting in the background making him look only to see Artoria. Kit growled and was about to charge towards the King, but Ark grabbed his tail.
"Easy Kit you'll have your chance, but right now, I need you to take this girl to safety and keep her safe." Ark said, pointing at Gray. Kit looked at the girl and tilted his head slightly. He looked back at his Summoner and nodded.
Ark sighed and turned towards Gray, his dangers senses went off and he grabbed the girl and pulled her towards him and hid behind a tree as a bunch of Arrows struck where Gray once stood. "Ok Grey, I need you to follow Kit, he may look small, but trust me, he is much more dangerous then he looks."
"Will you be OK?" Gray said slightly worried, she knew Ark was strong, and he still hasn't explained Servant Classes to her yet.
"Oh ya I'll be fine, my summons will back me up." Ark said, patting Grey on the head to reassure her. "Now go, follow Kit." Gray nodded and chased after Kit who nodded at Ark and started to lead the girl away from the fight.
Ark chuckled before his cheerful personality turned serious. His eyes became more dull before he suddenly summoned his bound bow and jumped away from the tree with an arrow drawn. The world came to a slow down and Ark saw his target on a nearby building.
"Got you." Ark said as he casted a spell onto his bound arrow and let it fly. The Mage made his bow disappeared and turned towards the fight.
Archer was trying to kill Caster's Master, but it seems this Servant had like sixth sense for danger. He watched as Caster pulled his Master behind a tree and saw a little Fox being followed by Caster's Master.
The white haired man turns his attention towards the running duo and draws another bow. He pulled the string back and narrowed his eyes..
Suddenly he felt a large amount of Prana heading towards his direction. He turned to see a weird looking arrow coming toward him. Archer was quick to get away from the area and appeared on another roof of a building.
BOOM!
A good chunk of the building disappeared before Archer's very eyes. What the fuck was that!
Ark smiled as his spell worked. He basically casted a fireball spell onto his arrow and overloaded it with both Prana and Magicka, the results were spectacular. He knew nobody was In the building otherwise Ark wouldn't have done that.
The Mage turned towards his summons and waved his arm causing them to stop and look at their Summoner. Ark nods, he knew they were disappointed, but understood that they were made to distract the King and the two Mangus.
Artoria watched as the Summons disappeared before her very eyes leaving only Ark who had a very familiar look In his eyes. They were dead and hallow to the world.
"My son, please let me speak to you." Artoria said lowering her invisible sword slightly, but kept her guard up thinking Ark will attack her.
"No, I made it very clear that I despise you." Ark looked to see Rin and Shirou collecting themselves since they were the one fighting Aether. "And I have a very good reason too, and I won't hesitate to finish her goal." Artoria flinched since she knows who Ark is talking about.
"Ark..." Artoria once again didn't know what to say.
The Mage fixed his illusion around his armor and started to walk away from the scene. Rin however stomped forward, but Saber held her back. Shirou wanted to say something toward Ark, but his mouth was frozen shut by Ark whose hand was glowing a light blue with bits of snowflakes coming off his hand.
"You should tell them who I am 'Father' before it's too late." Ark said looking back at the blond haired woman before disappearing from sight.
"Saber! Who is Ark!" Rin growled finally having enough of being left in the dark. She knows that Ark is Artoria's son, but she never heard of an Ark Pendragon in the history books; it's like he never existed.
"Ark is Merlin's Apprentice, after I was King for a few years Merlin found Ark and took him under his wing." Rin froze as she remembered reading something about Merlin's new Apprentice In a history book somewhere.
An unknown person that the Wizard found and trained. The Apprentice was known to be a extremely fast learner and was nearly on par with Merlin with spells, there were even a few other things that it probably exaggerated about Ark, like him able to turn rocks into gold, it sounded ridiculous, along with him able to summon Demons from the underworld or bend Nature to his will.
"Your Son is Merlin's Apprentice?" Rin said slowly while Saber nodded still looking where Ark was standing a few minutes ago. "He grew a legacy you know." Artoria looked at Rin with a questioning look. "After the fall of Camelot, it was said that Merlin's Apprentice was found at the end of the battle walking away with Mordred's sword held in his hands." Rin looked ahead while Shirou listened closely.
"It was said that a few of your Knights found you dead on the hill, however Merlin's Apprentice appeared and told them to take your body to the lady of the lake and toss Excalibur into the lake."
Rin tried to recall more of Ark's legacy, but she doesn't remember that much about him since he was an unknown variable to Camelot.
"Sadly there isn't much about Ark since he vanished after the battle of Camelot, the sword Mordred Pendragon used was never found either, so it's very much likely that he still has it with him." Rin explained while Saber was quite, taking in all this information and trying to process it.
"Saber, why does Caster hate you so much?" Shirou asked, making Artoria sigh as she looked at her Master with an unreadable expression.
"It's because I struck down the only person he cared about." Artoria said blankly, making Shirou blink and for Rin to sigh.
"Shirou, Caster is Ark Pendragon, and he had a brother named Mordred Pendragon, the second brother went to war with Arthur however in the end Arthur dealt the killing blow, but Mordred still had the last laugh.
"So Saber killed her first son and the second son hates her for it." Rin nodded while Saber made her sword disappear while her armor was swapped to her casual clothes. "You should try and apologize to him, Saber." Both females gave him a look. "What? He might forgive you."
