"Nothing is important to me except family, and the only family I have is my big sister." -Ark Pendragon

Gray slowly opened her eyes and let our a tiny yawn. She lifted herself off the bed while stretching her stiff body. She looked around the room In confusion before memories of what happened yesterday hit her. Looking around the room again, Gray spotted Ark sitting on a wooden chair and sleeping by the looks of it.

The little Master was about to get out of bed only to feel something warm pressed against her side. She looked down to see a familiar Fox laying down beside her. Gray smiled and gently pets Kit behind the ears making the tiny Fox twitch slightly before relaxing under her hands.

She looked at Ark again only to see him grumble and shift in his seat trying to get comfortable once again. Gray smirked and rolled out of bed which caused Kit to wake up. He looked at Gray who put a finger up to her lips.

"Ssshhh." Kit nodded and hopped on Gray's shoulder who started to sneak over to Ark. The Mage mumbled and slowly opened his eyes not fully registering on what was about to happen. "Get him!" Gray shouted making Kit jump off her shoulder and at Ark who went wide eyed, he tried to do something, but the Fox was already on his face.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Ark screamed as he ran around the room trying to get Kit off his face. "Get your ass off my face!" Ark yelled which was muffled by Kit's body which was still blocking both his vision and mouth. "Gu! Hair in my mouth, there's hair in my mouth!" Ark stopped running and tried to pry Kit off his face, but the Fox had one very strong grip around his face.

Ark then imagined himself in Mordred's place whenever he sicked Kit on her. He still found it amusing. Kit's grip tightened around the Mage's head causing him to pull harder.

Meanwhile Gray was laughing as she pointed at her Servant who was struggling to pry the little Fox off his face. She clapped her hands making Kit stop and look at her before sliding off of Ark's face. The Mage looked down at his Summon with a glare, but Kit appeared to have a smug look on his face as he casually walked over to Gray and hopped on her shoulder.

"Little shit, betraying his own Summoner." Ark grumbled while Gray giggled. The Apprentice rolled his eyes and walked over to the duo. He pats both Gray and Kit on the head before suddenly channeling a bit of electricity through his hands.

Gray's hair suddenly spiked up while Kit's fur did the same, making the Fox look like a little ball of fur. Ark pulled his hands away and nodded his head in approval. The Master blinked and looked at Kit only to snort which caused her to put a hand over her mouth. Meanwhile Kit tried his hardest to straighten out his fur only to fail in doing so.

"Well now that we're awake, what would you like for breakfast Gray?" Ark asked looking down at the girl with a smirk since her hair was still frazzled out along with Kit's fur. His Summon was glaring at him while Gray put on a pondering look.

"Whatever you think is good." Ark nodded and left the room with Gray close behind. "Also how long will this last?" The Mage looked back to see the girl pointing at her hair. All she received was silence making her and Kit look to see Ark chuckling to himself.

"Sorry Master, but I have no clue." Ark said in a teasing voice making Gray groaned in being called Master and her trying to flatten her hair which wasn't working at all. She thought static electricity would have gone away by then, but it seems Ark did more then that.

"Ark." Gray said in a annoyed voice, but all Ark did was laugh as they turned a corner and entered the main room which currently had a dead tired Rin leaning on the dinning table while Archer stood off to the side looking bored, that was until Caster walked in making him go on high alert.

However Ark ignored them and walked into the kitchen. Not a moment later the sound of cooking was heard making Archer roll his eyes and storm inside. A moment later the sound increased making it seem like a full on kitchen crew was inside.

Gray sat down beside Rin and poked her cheek making the older Master groan and swat the hand away. Kit hopped off Gray's shoulder and walked around Rin before sitting in front her.

The older Master lifted her head only to see a tiny Fox sitting in front of her. She was about to say something only for her cheek to be poked again making her turn to see the young Master looking at her curiously.

"Are you ok Rin?" Gray asked making Rin blink before sighing and nodding her head. "Then why do you look so tired." Rin internally sighed, asking herself how did this girl get a Powerful servant like Caster of all people.

"I'm not a morning person Gray." Rin said with a deadpan voice while the little girl tilts her head and slowly nodded her head in understanding. "Not only that I figured out why I fell asleep last night." Rin looked annoyed and glared towards the kitchen just as Ark walked by it.

"Oh..." Gray said before sitting down at her seat. Rin looked at the little Fox and had the sudden urge to pet it. She reached out only for the tiny of to turn and prance over to Gray. Rin sighed and lowered his arm. She straightened herself out and tried to fix her school uniform.

Both Master's heard footsteps and looked to see Caster and Archer each holding a tray of breakfast. They went to their respective Master and set the tray down allowing them to see what it was.

Archer made a delicious looking Japanese breakfast which involves a bowl of rice with an egg right beside it. A plate of fish that Ark doesn't know of. And finally a small bowl of broth.

While Ark made what looks to be a typical American breakfast. Three large buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup poured on top of it. A bunch of scrambled eggs with 2 bacon and 2 sausages. On the side was a cup of orange juice with a tiny bit of strawberry jam.

"Oh shit, I almost forgot." Ark said as he suddenly pulled out a stick of butter and sliced a bit of the butter onto the pancake. "Ok, now it's perfect, dig in." Ark rubbed Gray on the head making Archer and Rin see something close to a sibling bond between them.

The way Ark treated his Master is like how a big brother would treat a little sister. It was nice to see especially with how much Gray was enjoying the attention she was receiving. Rin's face shifted into a frown when she realized that she'll eventually have to split them apart. She could only imagine Ark's face if Gray was taken away from him.

In Archer's view, he can see the destruction of the city the moment Gray's life gets taken away from Caster... but he knew for a fact that will never happen, Merlin's Apprentice was powerful and didn't intend on backing down especially in a fight.

The two Masters ate quickly while the Servant's had a stare down. One side had a smirk while the other side had a neutral face. Rin looked at Caster who kept completely still while keeping his eye on Archer.

"So, Caster." Rin said after she took a sip of coffee that Archer provided her. "I've noticed that you no longer have a place to stay since the place you were staying at blew up." Ark narrowed his eyes slightly at her. He knew this was coming and was prepared for anything. "So I have a proposition." The Mage looked at Gray who looked back at him.

"What kind of proposition?" Ark already knew the answer cause it was a dead give away. He looked at Archer and saw the curious look on his face too meaning Rin didn't discuss it with him.

"An alliance, I allow both you and your Master to stay here, In turn we work together." Rin said making Ark internally roll his eyes at how predictable this Master was. It was a smart move to begin with. Rin was already allied with Shirou... but that means Ark will have to work with both Archer and Saber.

By the looks of it Archer was screaming at Rin internally cause he hated the idea of working with Caster... but after a few minutes his face slowly shifted to reluctant acceptance. Archer knew that having a powerful Allie was good and Ark definitely fit that bill. So he had to bite the bullet and accept it.

For Ark however that was a hard pill to swallow since he literally fought Saber just yesterday so them working together was slim to none.

"What do you think Gray?" Ark asked the little girl who was still eating, but listening very closely. "Think this is a safe route?" There was silence as Gray tried to think of a response.

"I don't know Ark, I just want this war to be over with, please, make this decision for me." Ark internally nodded his head. The Mage quickly went over the many possibilities and most of them involved if Gray will stay safe during this alliance.

Ark definitely didn't trust Archer cause he already tired to kill Gray before. And Rin wasn't going to be much of a threat since Ark was planning on training Gray a few spells that required Prana and possibly some hand to hand combat.

...eh Ark wasn't one to be a teacher, he might just make his Dremora Lord teach her about fighting, ya that sounds a lot easier to him.

"Deal." Ark said holding his hand out while Rin stared at it for a few seconds. She looked at Ark only to see him smiling at her which would put many on edge. The Master reached out and grabbed his head. Unknown to her bits of Rin's hair started to spike out making both Archer and Gray to hold back a laugh.

Rin pulled her hand away and made sure Caster didn't do anything to her. After confirming she wasn't cursed with a weird spell the Master got up and started walking towards the exit.

"So we're allies, that's good, now I'm sure you already know that we're allies with Saber's Master correct." She looked back to see an neutral look on Ark's face. "I'll be taking that as a yes, that means no attack Saber, I can understand you're angry with her, but we're allies now and that means we have to work together."

"Thanks for the lesson Sherlock." Ark said annoyed, making Rin glare at him. "I'm not stupid, I know what that means, there is no need to explain it." Rin continued to glare at him already knowing that Caster was going to be a huge pain to deal with... at least his Master his kind. The older Master left the house without a word leaving two Servants and one Master.

"You're going to follow her to school, correct?" Ark asked Archer who just stayed silent before vanishing from sight making him smirk. "So Gray, want to do anything in particular?" He looked at his Master only to see her shaking her head. "Hhhmm, how about... I start training you." Gray looked alarmed and slightly worried. "Yep, sounds like a good idea to me." Ark grabbed Gray and started dragging her outside.

"Wait! Ark!" Gray shouted as the Mage continues to drag the Master. "I'm regretting everything!"

"Good! That will make this easier!" Ark cheered like a child high on sugar. Gray blinked never seeing this side of Ark either... this made him even more scary.

"You're a sadist aren't you!"

"Fuck ya!" Ark stopped right behind Rin's Manor and turned towards Gray who looked very nervous and very scared. The Mage grinned and that grinned caused two being to feel something.

One of them was suddenly very proud and can actually feel a tear rolling down their face at how proud they were. Their Apprentice was doing something that would put his own wonderful training to shame.

The second one was annoyed cause they were missing out on something that would probably make them laugh themselves silly... they missed Ark, they wonder how much longer they had to wait before the two can see each others again.

Ark stood back and watched in amusement as Gray was tossed around by the Dremora Lord. The Summon's version of training is by simply learning as they fight. One thing was for certain, Gray was going to be really good at dodging attacks.

Ark Summoned a few other summons that would help Gray in her training. And with a few orders he walked away from the area leaving Gray to her training.

What can Ark say, he was lazy and constantly keeping an eye on his Master's progress sound boring, so he is going to do something more entertaining. And that involves checking to see if Rider finally decided to act and attack the school.

What he saw didn't disappoint him. Ark casually strolled into the large dorm that surrounded the entire school and looked around. He never visited the school yet so he had some time to explore. The Mage stepped over a few students while sometimes casting a few healing spells here and there.

He purposely ignored the sound fighting since he was busy looking over the more unhealthy students that looked much worse then the rest of them. He found a few seals and disarmed them without batting an eye. These Runes were mediocre at best, sure he was more of a destruction Caster, but that didn't stop Merlin from packing a ton of information into his skull.

Ark turned a corner only to step back as the body of a Rider flew past him. He looked towards Rider then the group that caused that. It was Saber, Rin, and Shirou. All three of them were looking at Caster surprised to see him here.

He waved before casting EbonyFlesh flesh and stopping a nail from entering his skull. Caster looked at Rider and grinned like a mad man at her. Another chance to fuck with a servant. Ark definitely couldn't pass this one up.

"Ah, Medusa, it seems the book about your appearance are false." Ark gripped the chain connected to Rider's weapon still smiling. "No matter, I'm here for a reason and you're currently in my way." Ark channels lightning in Medusa's weapon and sent it through the chain, it didn't take a second before it reached Medusa who cried out In pain.

Using this chance, Ark yanked Medusa forward since she still held onto her weapon. Caster weren't physically strong, but their spells were on another level. Rider tried her best to get control of her body, but the lightning was causing her body to lock up. She stumbled forward right into Ark's Ice rune which exploded the moment she stepped into it.

Rider flew backwards but with a much stronger force sending her flying outside. Ark was about to follow Rider only for him to spin around and block a familiar sword from cutting him in half.

Saber and Caster stared at each other for a second. The male grunts as Saber put more pressure on the attack causing him to be pushed back. Ark took this chance this chance to summon a Bound Dagger and throw it towards Shirou who didn't expect it and didn't have time to dodge.

Sadly it was blocked by Rin who was scowling and yelling at the red head for a few seconds.

"Saber, stop!" Shirou yelled making the blond female blink and look back at her Master with a bit a shock and annoyance.

"You should listen to your Master, Saber, you shouldn't do anything rash instead of jumping to conclusions like that." Ark said grunting slightly as he tried to keep his arms up.

Saber clicked her tounge and slowly relaxed her arms allowing Caster to sigh and lower his own arms. He stood up to his full height and casted a healing spell over himself feeling his fatigue slowly drift away.

"Caster! What are you doing here!" Rin growled making the Mage looked at the more experienced Master with a deadpan look.

"I don't know, why don't you guess?" Ark said making Rin's eye twitch. "Have you even told them about the three way alliance that is happening now?" Ark asked making Rin paused and sigh. She turned towards the duo and explained the situation and Alliance that is going on. The Mage walked over to the hole leading outside of the school and didn't see Rider in sight.

"Damn she got away, hope she doesn't use those Mystic eyes on me, don't need me getting a stiffy" Ark rolled his shoulders quickly reminding him he need a change of clothes, since he forgot to get some after his little... 'Hunt' last night.

Caster spun around only to come face to face with Saber. Raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. Both 'Father' and Son had a stare down for a moment, but Ark grunts and walks by the female. He needs a new pair of clothes.

"And where are you going Caster?" Shirou asked the older male who stopped and turned towards him.

"Getting some clothes." Ark said before heading down the hall. "Oh, you might want to hurry and leave, I can tell that there will be a few police on the way."

"Why?" Rin asked. Her answer was quickly received when a explosion was heard from within the nearby forest. Both Rin and Ark had a stare down. "You know who Rider's Master is, tell us who it is." The girl demanded while Shirou looked at him wanting answers to.

"Hhmm... no." Ark smiled at Rin's face while Shirou looked actually angry with him. "But I will give you it, if you do something for me." Rin grimaced while Shirou blinked.

"How... how could you be so heartless! People are dying and you're not telling us who the person responsible for it is!" Shirou yelled which made only Ark chuckle to himself. "I thought you were supposed to be a good guy!" At that point Ark full on laughed making Shirou even more angry.

"What... HAHAHA the FUCK made you think I was a good guy to begin with?" Ark said laughing trying to control himself. "Are you brain dead, cause they way I act should be a dead giveaway." Ark leaned against the wall holding himself up. "I'm the Knight of Treacheries' brother, not only that I encouraged my brother to start that rebellion in the first place!"

Artoria went wide eyed while Shirou was shocked to hear that the Mage didn't trying to stop his brother, but instead encouraged him to overthrow King Arthur. Rin however looked neutral not sure how should she react. The books never explained why Mordred started the rebellion, but Ark definitely wasn't going to tell how it came to be.

The Mage got off the wall after calming down and started heading towards the exit. Even after telling them that they were still allied, it was all in the past no point in getting angry over that... Shirou however had some words to say towards the Mage.

"You sent your brother to his death..." Ark paused his body tensing up. "You knew that he was basically throwing his life away and you didn't try to stop him." The Mage let out a tiny growl as his hands balled up. "What kind of brother are you to not care your own sibling's life!" Now Artoria looked worried, she knew that was all false, she remembers how much Ark cared about his sibling and how far he would go for 'him' to see 'him' smile.

"Master, you should watch your tounge, you're doing more harm then good right now." Artoria said taking note how the temperature around them started to rise making a bead of sweat to roll down the Knight's face. Shirou however was apparently deaf since he continued talking.

Ark however wasn't listening. His body was twitching violently as Merlin's words from the training room echoed inside his head. The Mage lowered his head forward hiding his eyes from view when suddenly his hands burst into flames causing the annoying red head to instantly shut up. The group watched as Ark slowly turned around to face them.

Artoria took note to how furious Ark looked and realized that they just pissed off a very powerful Caster who never bothered casting his most strongest spells... and Shirou gave him a very good reason to use them. Saber got her weapon ready while Archer got his two swords ready.

"Shut the FUCK up you sorry excuse of a Master, you can't say shit since you don't have siblings... or maybe you did and they died in the fire with everyone else in the city." Shirou went wide eyed and Caster watched as his body trembled in anger. "I will say this again, I don't care about my wish so I have no reason to fight you..." Ark slowly stopped channeling Magicka towards his hands allowing the fire to disappear without a trace.

He looked Shirou dead in the eyes allowing the Master to see the pain within the Caster's eyes. "But if you dare talk about me not caring about my 'brother' ever again... I'll kill you where you stand." The group can feel the temperature slowly return to normal. "Now get the fuck lost, I need to check on my own Master." Ark started walking away, his foot steps echoed down the empty hall before slowly fading away.

Ark stepped outside taking a deep breath trying to control his anger. He wanted to, he really wanted to blow up that whole school without as much as batting an eye. But he held himself back, cause while he never cared about teenagers, they were innocent and there was no point to him taking innocent lives all because someone pissed him off...

While Merlin may have been a dick he taught Ark some important lessons about Magic and most of them involved innocent people and not getting them involved... however last night Ark didn't exactly care at the moment...

Ark looked up to see Rin's Place. She walked around the building and was a bit surprised to Gray was still going at it. She tiredly dodged a fire ball then side stepped a diagonal slash which nearly hit her. He looked over to see a few other summons kicked back and watched the fight.

After a few minutes Ark grew bored and reached into his back pocket. He pulled out a group of crystals and each one hummed with a soul. It was kind of surprised Ark when the souls actually gave off the feeling of emotions. The Mage grabbed the smallest crystal which was as big as his hand.

Ark can feel the sadness within the crystal. It was the feeling of losing a sibling that they were very close close... the Mage can sympathize. The next soul was full of anger and it was directed towards the Mage himself. Ark snorts and picked up another soul shard. This one had the feeling of acceptance knowing that they were going to die... Ark felt a bit of guilt build up within his chest before pushing it away.

This was for the greater good, there was no other way, people always died in the war... and Ark already took a couple from last night.

Ark didn't know If Mordred would be disappointed in him, he didn't really care about what Merlin felt since the dick wizard probably did something similar. People died everyday, some with a purpose, others don't.

But Ark was giving theirs lives a purpose and it was to help him become better at enchanting items. Now he just needed some jewelry... shit, speak of enchanting Ark still had to repair his armor and get a new set of clothes.

With a click of his tongue, Ark walked away from the training Area. These clothes were getting very uncomfortable to wear.

LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak

A few hours passed and Ark finally got his hands on some new clothes which he was wearing right now.

He was wearing a set of black steel toed boots with a pair of loose blue jeans to match. On top was a white shirt that was loose since he never liked wearing tight clothes. Over his shirt was a simple dark red hoodie that was unzipped down the middle. And finally for the last piece of clothing was the pair of black biker gloves.

Ark was fixing his jacket as he walked down the sidewalk. He was currently in his own little world wondering what he should do. The Mage was already regretting on becoming allies with Rin and it was showing.

The Mage sighed as he turned the corner only to see a bunch of TVs inside a store turned on showing the news.

"This just in: A new killer is on the loose." Ark paused and listened. "Unlike the past death of the victims being drained of all their blood, these new victims have been found dead inside their own homes, luckily their bodies were untouched." The news reporter said making Ark sigh. "Officials say that they died to an unknown cause, all of these victims were adults that lived by themselves-"

"Shit, they found the bodies much quicker then I anticipated." Ark said with a sigh as he continued walking only to hear a screaming down a nearby alley. "Typical." With a roll of his eyes Ark travels into the alley and unsurprisingly finds a person drained of nearly all their blood. Crouching down Ark placed a hand over them and casted a strong healing spell.

He watched as color returned to their face and their breathing became normal. Ark felt his instincts scream at him, but a he did was tilt his head allowing a nail to fly by. He turned to see Medusa. Both sides had a stare down before Caster smirked.

"Saw that shit coming from a mile away." Ark stood up and pointed at Rider. "You triggered my trap card!" Medusa tilts her head only for Ark to snap his fingers. Not a moment later the alley exploded into flames. Caster walked out of the alley unharmed with the victim over his shoulder. He placed the person against the wall and rushed back inside the alley

Fuck it, he was killing Rider, and Shinji too if he ever found that little shit of a Master, he was going to be a fine addition to his collection.
