Ark groaned as he opened his eyes. He was quick to cover them from the rising sun. Looking around slightly confused, not sure how he got here. The Mage looked beside him and saw Mordred sleeping peacefully beside him.
Shaking his head, Ark sat up as the memories from last night slowly came back to him. Stretching his arms, he looked at Mordred and reached over. Without hesitation he poked his sister's cheek causing her to groan and swat at Ark's hand.
Rolling his eyes at the reaction he poked Mordred again, but a bit harder this time causing her to open her eyes. She looked around before spotting Ark who nodded his head at her. She reached up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.
"Morning sleepy head, come on lets head back, I'm sure my Master is worried about where I am right now." Ark stood up and held his hand out to Mordred. She reached out and grabbed her brother's hand allowing him to pull the Knight to her feet, but she wobbled a bit cause she was still a bit dizzy.
Mordred rolled her shoulders then her neck causing a few cracks to be heard. She stretched her arms and sighed a the feeling of her muscles slowly lossening up. Ark was already walking away making the Knight catch up.
The walk was normal as they went through the city, neither siblings spoke to each other for they had nothing to speak about at the moment. If anything, just being near one another again was enough for them both, which show by how relaxed they are. Of course, something had to ruin this enjoyable moment.
Ark growled when he noticed how some of the male's were looking at Mordred, he couldn't help it, the older brother instincts inside him were kicking in. The Knight can obviously rip every single male a new one if she so pleased, but Ark was going to beat her too it.
But most of the males also noticed Ark beside Mordred who was glaring at them. Most of them quickly noticed the resemble between the two and wisely turned away, however a few brave ones continued to look.
This made Ark think, if the Male Master from Grand Order ever started dating Mordred... hehe, he is going to have a very serious talk with him. It might involve threatening him or shocking him until his eyes pop out of his skull... who knows really, Ark was an odd ball.
Shaking his head, Ark looked over at Mordred who was ignoring all the stares and put her hands behind her head still looking very relaxed at the moment. This made Ark sigh as he too started to ignore the stares, but of course he wanted the last laugh. Snapping his fingers a nearby portal opened up In a dark ally. Kit stepped of it out and looked around for a moment, wondering why he was summoned.
Suddenly he got a few images and understood what needed to be done.
"You know what to do, and be sure to bring me their souls." Ark's voice echoed inside the Fox's head and evil smirk somehow spread across Kit's face as he suddenly disappeared within the shadows.
Meanwhile the duo reached Rin's Manor and Ark casually walked inside. Unsurprisingly Gray and Rin were at the table eating. No sign of Archer anywhere which means his was once again in spiritual form, guy didn't really like to show himself.
"Oh Ark- who is that?" Gray asked pointing at Mordred making Rin look too and blink. She narrowed her eyes since Archer probably told the more experienced Master that the girl beside Ark was a servant, but this one felt different.
"Who? This?" Ark said pointing at his sister off handedly not at all concerned for what they are thinking. This timeline was beyond fucked so what's the point of trying to repair it? So he just continued to break it some more. "She is no one of importance." Ark felt Mordred nudge him in a way of warning him.
The Younger Brother returned the nudge and glanced at Mordred in a way to say: play along. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms with a frown on the Knight's face, that was going to get annoying fast, Ark can feel it.
"Caster, you know for a fact that I'm not an idiot." Both Mordred and Ark snorts then smirked at Rin, making the Master blink at how in sync they both were. Gray got off her chair and walked up too Ark who looked down at her. Both of them had a telepathic communication, Ark obviously explaining everything since he could trust Gray to not spoil his fun.
She stared at her Servant while he stared back. "The girl is obviously a servant." Rin growled getting annoyed with how all of Ark's attention shifted to his Master, not taking anything what she said seriously.
"Oh really? I didn't notice." Ark said without a care in the world making Rin's eye twitch causing the Mage to chuckle while Mordred nodded her head with a impressed look. Gray suddenly looked at Mordred in awe and slight confusion.
"Wow, really." Gray said while Ark nodded his head before looking at Rin who was still glaring at him. "Um... Rin, me and Ark will head out for a bit, I want to explore the city some more." The young Master said making Rin open her mouth to say say something, but Grey took off running out of the house.
Both Ark and Mordred looked back to see Gray waving at them waiting for the two Servants to catch up. They looked at each other before heading over to the grey haired girl. The Mage however looked back to see Rin at the entrance glaring at him.
The Mage only smirked and stuck out the middle finger at her before reaching Gray who was staring at Mordred in wonder. The Knight stared back with narrowed eyes and crossed arms.
"Alright let's go, I have this feeling Rin is going to sick Archer on us and tell him to follow us around town... but I doubt that especially with what happened yesterday." Ark said looking at Mordred who rolled her eyes.
"Even if she did, I will kill Archer before he could even blink." Gray looked surprised at how cocky the female sounded before looking at Ark who nodded his head in agreement.
"Ya, I highly doubt Archer can get the drop on you especially when I'm around keeping and eye out for danger." Ark responded. He then faced his Master who was waiting for him to explain what's going on.
"Tip, we maybe Allies with Rin, but we're not friends, keep that In mind, don't try to get close to her and whatever you do, don't tell her any of our plans." Gray listened closely and nodded her head understanding the seriousness In this. The girl was getting the hang of being a Master and at a surprisingly fast rate as well, all she needed now was Ark's attitude and Smarts and she'll be ready.
She was already being trained by Ark's summons and the Mage knew she can only learned so much In a short amount of time so he had to make each second count, but we wasn't going to turn her into some sort of weapon, Gray is still a little girl by the end of the day and the Apprentice intends to give her that experience.
"Ya kid, listen closely to Ark, he maybe an idiot sometimes, but he knows what he's talking about." Mordred gave her own to cents making the Male glare at her. "Like what Ark told me, Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." Ark blinked, he was actually a bit surprised Mordred listened to him for that quote.
Silence surrounded the trio as they walked through the city looking for anything interesting to do. Mordred looked around wonder what everything was, sure the Grail provides her information about the Modern World, but that doesn't mean she has yet to see it for herself.
"So you're Ark's 'brother' Mordred?" Gray asked making Mordred stare at the little Master before looking at Ark who stared back in a way that said: Play nice. The Knight let out a harsh breath and nodded her head. Gray's eyes sparkled before looking confused as she stared a bit longer. "But shouldn't you be his Sister?" Ark flinched and looked at Mordred whose left eye started twitching. "You actually look very pretty." Gray said innocently making Mordred pause as a blush slowly started to spread across her face.
Ark held himself back from laughing, cause he didn't feel liking being punched in the gut or kicked In the dick. He turned away, his shoulders shaking slightly as he pictured Mordred's reaction inside his head.
"...Thanks..." Ark nearly popped a vain from trying to hold himself back at how confused and lost Mordred sounded. He slowly looked over at his sister and saw the blush on her face. The Mage looked at Gray and saw her smirking at him...
The Apprentice never been so proud before In his life. Gray was slowly falling to the dark side and he never been so eager to teach her more in the ways of Evil.
"Alright you two, enough." Ark said. "And Gray call my Sister-" The Mage felt Mordred kick his leg, but it went ignored. "Momo, it's the nickname I gave her, we don't need other Servants figuring out her true name just yet." Gray nodded her head while Mordred glared at her brother who raised an eyebrow.
"Quit your glaring and get over it, I'll keep call you my sister, cause that's what you are, and if you punch me one more time I will send your ass into a wall." Ark said glaring back at Mordred who stepped up her glare even more.
"Please, I'm a Saber and you're a Caster, you are physically weaker then me and I can easily beat your ass into the ground, like that one time when Me and you spared." Mordred shot back reminding Ark of the time Merlin basically forced his Apprentice to fight his Sister. That shit eating grin Merlin had pissed Ark off and he would have gave the dick wizard a of his best curse words if he wasn't hurting all over from Mordred handing the Mage his ass after the spar.
"Don't remind me, but still you need to get over that, I don't need you lashing out like that." Ark said while Mordred crossed her arms. Both sides stared at each other. "Momo, I don't know what the hell what gave you this mindset, but you need to get rid of it, are we clear?" Ark didn't receive a response making the Mage sigh in annoyance. "I said, are we clear." Ark said this more firmly trying to get his point across.
Mordred continues to glare for a few more seconds before finally huffing and turning away.
"Ya, fine, whatever." Mordred obviously sounded reluctant, but Ark's influence on her showed since she wasn't going to be stubborn about it and just ignore him for the rest of the day. The Mage was glad to have a familiar sibling bond which was similar to the bond him and his past brother had.
"You know, I still want to be your Court Wizard." Ark said while turning to see Gray staring into a bakery looking at the many sweet inside, she was mostly eyeing the double chocolate cake. "If you want I even call you King or Queen, whatever floats your boat." Ark was only buttering her up trying to cheer up the Knight knowing she was in a sour mood now.
Mordred waved her arm and glanced at Ark from the corner of her eye. The Mage knew he left a big impact on her.
"Na, it's fine... when you told me how you wanted to travel the world with me as sell sword... I actually liked that idea... and at that moment I realized how hard it was trying to be a king..." Ark nodded glad Mordred is finally realizing the weight that will be on her shoulders if she took the crown.
"Glad you finally see why I never wanted the crown, too much work, and you know me, I'm one-"
"Lazy bastard." Mordred finished turning to Ark and smirking. The Mage rolled his eyes and smirked back.
"Oh this looks amazing!" Gray said making both siblings look to see the little Master staring at the many sweets on display. "Ark, can we get some!" She turned towards her Servant who only chuckled and nodded his head. "Yes! Let's go steal some cake!"
LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak
Ark kicked back slightly as he took small bits of the cupcake he stole. Glancing to the side he spotted Mordred munching on a some cookies that she help steal. Next to the Knight was Gray who is currently eating a slice of double chocolate cake.
Advance: *Is slowly turning green* Ugh, I just ate before writing this and thinking about food is making me a bit sick.
Ark smirked at the way Gray happily ate her cake while Mordred had her own smirk seeing how easily Ark has corrupted the young girl. The Mage looked around and took in their surroundings. They were currently in the park eating their stolen food on a bench.
"So Ark, what's our plan for this War?" Mordred's voice made the Mage jump slightly before he looked at his sister.
"Really? You want to talk about this now while we're currently relaxing?" Ark said rolling his eyes while Mordred threw a piece of a cookie at the male.
"Sorry Mr Caster, but I'm bored and itching to fight something, not sit here and do nothing." The sarcasm in Mordred's voice was strong and Ark will admit that he missed hearing it, but that won't stop him from returning fire.
"Alright fine little Ms inpatient." Ark saw Mordred's eye twitch, but she didn't comment which was a start, but he knew it will only last so long before she lashes out. "Let me give you a little heads up on what Servant is each class." So the Apprentice begins to tell Mordred all of the Servant's true names while the Knight listened closely taking in all the information which will be useful for her.
"I see why you need backup, some of these Servants are no joke for you... well besides Father, so because of him being summoned incorrectly his stats are weaker, that doesn't matter, you have me by your side and together we'll wipe the floor with these Servants." Mordred said with her smirking growing while Ark chuckled to himself.
Once again Mordred is being too hot headed thinking she is going to win most of these fights, even though Ark can Summoner her again without worry, it takes a great deal of Magicka to do so and it takes a moment for him to cast the spell which is something most Servants won't allow him to do.
But he didn't try to knock Mordred down a few pegs. The Knight was skilled and she was confident in her skills, not point in changing that. She rarely gets worried especially about her own we'll being.
Shaking his head he leaned back against the bench and closed his eyes.
"Alright here is the plan." So Ark beings to explain his sister what needed to be done. He didn't bother telling Mordred about how his Master didn't want a wish, neither himself. If anything the female would be constantly asking him why he doesn't want the wish.
He'll eventually tell her that the grail is corrupted and that it's all a joke. Every Servant is fighting for something that isn't even worth it.
LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak
After waiting a few days which allowed Mordred and Gray to get to know each other some more. Nothing really exciting happened those days they mostly involved Ark making some food and feeding both Mordred, Gray, and Rin who constantly check her food for poison which was ridiculous...
Ark didn't have the ingredients to make some poison anyways.
After that Ark would train Gray by Summoning his other Summons and make them fight her, while she is training Mordred would drag Ark away and they would spar. Most of the time Ark is being beat into the ground since the Knight said she would help Ark get better with one swordplay.
And when the time was right the two Servants started to execute their plan. Ark was currently on top of a building looking down into the city, beside him was Mordred. Both siblings are in their armor. The Knight had her helmet on, while Ark had his hood pulled up.
"So we're killing Rider and her Master?" Mordred asked looking over her armor as she waited. From what Ark told her Rider's Master was a scumbag and deserved to killed. "Didn't take you to kill someone to make the world a better place." The Knight teased the Mage making him roll his eyes.
"More like... giving me the satisfaction of killing a slimy piece of shit added bonus, you get to fight rider, remember what I said, she is dangerous, Rider has probably been feeding non stop and gotten stronger." Mordred nodded and summoned Clarent into her hands.
"Ok, so why are we here on a building?" The Mage sighed and shook his head.
"Rider never really shows herself and Is mostly killing people at night trying to become stronger, all we have to do is catch her while she is feeding and get rid of her." Ark said while Mordred snickered her green eyes filled with amusement.
A scream was heard and the siblings were on the move. Ark landed on another building while Mordred hit the sidewalks. They moved fluently through the night showing their inhuman speed as they slowly reached the location of the scream.
Mordred reached an ally and looked inside, there she spotted a body which was male. The person barely looked alive, his skin was pale and his breathing was ragged. Looking around the Knight didn't see any sign of Rider.
A thud was heard being her making her spin around ready to decapitate the person however she stopped. Clarent was inches away from Ark's neck. With a grunt, Mordred lowered her sword.
"I'm guessing Rider got away?" Ark said walking past Mordred and crouching down to inspect the nearly dead man.
"More like, gone before we even got here." The girl said as she stood beside Ark who was currently healing the man with a annoyed look on his face.
"No, more like she sensed us coming and started to hide from us within the shadows..." Both Servants were silent before they suddenly jumped to the side. A weapon that Ark was familiar with flew by them and immediately stabbed the downed man killing him on the spot.
Clicking their tongue Ark and Mordred snapped his sights on where the weapon came from. The chain connected to the weapon went slack before being pulled on ripping the weapon out of the corpse.
Neither Siblings batted an eye at the corpse and turned towards the shadows. Medusa stepped out from her hiding spot making both siblings tense up. Mordred twirled Clarent while Ark prepared his spells.
"It's good to see you again Caster..." Rider said simply. Ark however didn't respond and simply threw two fireballs in her direction which she quickly dodged, however she narrowly had a retake on her original death by Mordred appearing in front of her and wanting to decapitate her.
"Mordred, deal with Rider, I'll take care of her Master, he shouldn't be too far away." Ark said but Mordred didn't respond she was took focused on Rider who narrowly dodging the Knight's attacks.
Ark dashed out of the ally and casted his detect life spell. The Mage saw many life forces within the buildings, but they aren't the ones Caster is looking for. After a few seconds he spotted a lone life force within a forest.
"Got you." Ark grinned and took off towards forest. He however didn't show himself like many Heros would, instead he casted muffle which he perfected to the max. Next was casting invisibility. After that the Mage went deeper into the forest sneaking towards the singular life force.
Meanwhile Mordred easily parried a jab towards her side then kicked Rider back before charging forward. She brought her sword down only for the pink haired female to dodge making her grunt in annoyance. Ark was right Rider was definitely fast.
Taking a step back as Rider dashed around the Knight striking her whenever she could. Mordred growled as she block another attack, but this time she lowered herself to the ground even more and waited.
"Remember, get a feel for your opponent and understand what type of fighting style they use." Ark's words were heard as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
She listened closely and felt around herself. Rider was a fast one and relied on catching her opponent off guard. She understood that Ark can Summoner her again, but she wasn't going to risk a scolding from him and it was annoying to be scolded by her younger brother.
There was no sound to be heard only the slight breeze blowing past her ear. After a few more seconds, she felt it the flicker of the wind. Mordred snapped her eyes open and roared and she swung Clarent towards her side and was satisfied to feel her sword strike something. She went along with the motion and launched Rider out of the ally and into the street.
Mordred rested Clarent on her shoulder and casually walked out of the ally to see Rider pushing herself off the street. She grinned under her helmet and readied Clarent once more.
Medusa however reached up and pulled off her blindfold showing Mordred her eyes. The Knight actually felt her body becoming more stiff making her realize this was the Mystic eyes Ark was talking about.
But she shoved the feeling of her body becoming more slower by the second and dashed forward with a roar. Rider returned the favor and dashed forward as well.
LineBreakLineBreakLineBreak
Ark hid behind a tree and peaked around it to see Shinji tapping his foot impatiently probably waiting for Rider to appear. The Knight slowly snuck around the poor excuse of a human being, making sure that he didn't spot Caster.
The Mage silently summoned a Bound Dagger and grinned. Reaching into his pouch Ark pulled out a petty dagger knowing full well that Shinji's soul was worthless practically.
He didn't know what Sakura might think, but then again he didn't care since the Mage was still debating on what he should do about her. His more human side wanted to save her, but Ark's Mage side was telling him that it's impossible unless there is a spell to take out the grail piece...
A thought for another time, Sakura wasn't his objective right now.
"Where the hell is Rider, it shouldn't have taken this long to drain a few people." Shinji mumbled as he crossed his arms before suddenly the hairs on his neck stood on end. The male looked around frantically. He can feeling someone watching him and it was Rider.
He suddenly spun around, but didn't see anybody. The young man began to back up, he raised his arms and was about to call on Rider, but that was washed away when someone grabbed his head and forcefully tilts his head back causing him to look at the sky.
Next was in the blink of an eye. Shinji felt a dagger get dragged across his throat opening up his wind pipe. The feeling of his blood running down his neck and the lack of air made the male panic as he tried to cover his throat.
Shinji tried to talk, but it all came out as gargles as he chocked on his own blood. The grip on his head disappeared making the Master fall forward. He slowly turned around only to see a servant with a glowing dagger In his hand.
Rider told him about this Servant, Caster and how dangerous he could possibly be
Shinji let out a garbled cry which Ark silenced by kicking the Master in the face instantly breaking his nose and possibly cracking Shinji's skull. Caster walked up to the downed Master and stepped on his head applying more pressure by the second.
Shinji tried to do something but his strength was slowly vanishing as more of his blood left his body.
Ark was a bit impressed by how long it was taking for Shinji to die and it was annoying him. He slit the bastard's throat, how long does it take for someone to die with their throat cut wide open?
Rolling his eyes Ark raised his foot and stomped down on the male's head. A crack was heard, but the Mage didn't stop. Shinji's hand went limp as his body stilled. The older male raised his foot once more and brought it down with even more force.
By showing the strength of a servant against a normal human. Shinji's head shattered, spraying blood all over the place. Ark watched as a Shinji's soul left his body and entered the crystal in the Mage's hand.
Ark stared at the crystal not a all surprised by how weak the Magus soul was, if anything if he had to compare souls from a skyrim rabbit to Shinji's soul...
The rabbit souls would provide more strength, Shinji was that awful of a Magus, it was kind of funny honestly.
He suddenly felt a massive power spike making his attention snap towards where he left Mordred and Medusa. Rider was unleashing her Noble Phantasm, probably because she felt her Master's connection disappearing and knew this was her final moments.
"And Mordred's probably in trouble... shit." Ark raised his and and instantly teleported to the location and what he saw wasn't very surprising. Mordred was turning into stone thanks to Medusa's Mystic eyes and Ark watched as she tried her hardest to fight the effects.
Looking over he spotted Medusa chanting her for her final strike. Ark casually walked over to Mordred who was frozen in place. He leaned on her shoulder catching the Knight's attention.
"Need some help?" Ark said with a cheeky voice. "Took care of Rider's Master, and by the looks of it she is using her Noble Phantasm to finish you off which is going to be her final attack." Ark concluded while Mordred scowled at the Knight before lowering her head.
"Just get me out of this, Rider's Mystic eyes caught me off guard, I would have easily one if it wasn't for the stupid eyes of hers." Mordred said while Ark rolled his eyes. He knew his sister could easily beat most of these Servants, but since Rider caught her off guard she could have easily been beaten.
Once again Mordred was over confident and didn't fight cautiously to his growing amusement.
"Alright, how about you and me finish her off together?" Ark said placing a hand on Mordred's back as a golden glow covered her body and her stone body quickly reverted back to normal.
"I can handle this by myself just fine!" Mordred said rolling her shoulders and glaring at Ark. He simply gave her a deadpan look and pointed at Rider who finished chanting. Both looked to see Medusa Riding on a pure white horse.
"For fuck sake, do something!" Ark shouted at her feeling the incredible power flying towards them as he reached into his side pouch and pulled out a scroll. Mordred quick got herself ready and the Mage knew what she was doing.
Slamming his palm against the ground the scroll disappeared and a white circle surrounded them. The feeling of power coursed through the siblings vains.
Ark prepared himself to cast a powerful ward, as the he felt Mordred activate her own Nobel Phantasm. "A little bit of extra boost never hurt anyone." Ark said placing his hand on Mordred's shoulder and casting another spell.
Courage
With the help of Call to Arms and Courage Mordred raised her sword high in the and Ark shut his eyes at the sheer power of his sister's Noble Phantasm. He watched as Mordred's helmet vanished as red electricity covered her sword and growing with increasing power.
Mordred had her eyes shut as she pointed the sword up towards the sky.
"This is the Evil sword that destroyed my father..."
Ark kept his hand on Mordred's shoulder as he watched in slow motion as Rider closed in. And at the same time the Knight snapped her eyes opened and roared.
"CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR!" Mordred brought down her sword and a large beam of red energy shot towards Medusa who took the attack head on. Ark didn't see the rest since he dug his feet into the ground stopping himself from being sent back.
After a few seconds it became silent. Ark looked up and sighed. Mordred bested Medusa since he saw Rider on the ground staring up at the stars. The Mage gave the Knight a pat on the shoulder and watched as Rider disappeared in a flash of golden light.
Ark nudge Mordred making her look at him. She turned to look at her brother only to see him smiling at her. The Knight returned the smile as she relaxed and put Clarent away.
"Good job Momo." Ark said raising his hand. His sister stared at the Male's hand confused on what he wanted her to do. "It's a high five, it's something we do after a job well done or a mission accomplished." She looked down at her own hand before slowly raising it towards Ark's hand and pressing it against his.
Ark chuckled and shook his head. He reached out with his other hand and gently grabbed Mordred's wrist. "No, like this." He showed her by slapping his palms against her own. "Like that, now let's try again." Mordred nodded.
They raised their right hands and gave each other a proper high-five. Ark chuckled while Mordred smirked, she looked down at her own hand before noticing Ark walking away. She was quick to catch up knowing they shouldn't stick around for much longer.
"Well that's another servant down, all that's left is Lancer, Berserker, Archer, and... Saber" Mordred looked confused cause there was a class missing.
"What about Assassin?" Mordred asked making Ark pause before suddenly chuckling like an evil villian which was something the Knight has seen plenty of times especially when the Mage started 'teaching' Gawain on how to peel a potato.
"Hehe, Uh, let's just say he is good as dead... I took care of him early on in the war when nobody was looking." Ark smirked when the memory of Caster Master's body hits the ground in front of Ark completely chard, beyond reckoning.
Shirou might be wondering why his teacher is never there anymore... well apparently there was another Caster Class so Ark saw an opportunity since he need to be the main Caster, he took care of the two Servants with one stone, how you may ask?
Well it only involves a overwhelming fire rune filled the brim with both Prana and Magicka almost turning it into a mini nuke. And he hid it right where he believed Caster might stand. The Apprentice was really good had hiding spells thanks to his illusions.
One might ask what happened to Caster's hideout... lets just say there may or may not have been a gas leak. Nobody knows how it happen, it just happened...
Anyways...
"So our next stop is to see Saber." Ark said turning away and smirking knowing full well Mordred is starting at him like he is crazy, which is probably was now that he thought about it.
"TO HELL WE ARE, I KNOW YOU'RE SMIRKING YOU SMUG BASTARD, MERLIN RUBBED OFF ON YOU!" Mordred was shouting all the way as the siblings slowly reached Shirou's place which took a good hour to reach.
"Here we are!" Ark said stretching his arms out at the front gate.
"This is where father is?" Mordred asked looking at the tiny walls which she can easily hop over or if she was really feeling it, bust through it.
"Yep." Ark said before looking at the front gates. "Now stay hidden, I want to make this as dramatic as possible."
"To hell we are, I want to see Father's face." Mordred growled before Ark hit her on the head causing her to glare at him.
"Patients, you'll get your chance, also you're not the only one who wants a piece of Father." Ark said before grimaced at how that sounded. With a grim he raised his foot and launched it towards the gate.
