Greetings by this point y you should know who I am and what my purpose here is. The last two stories were good were they not? Good let us get settled in as we set out into orbit for our next story.
What do I mean by that you might ask? The answer is easy. "You see I've shared with you so far the perspective of both Zim and Dib and their conflict on Earth.
It's time for us to go through the perspective of a vortian. I am of course referring to The Resisty leader Lard Nar. A vortian who's never been known to have luck on his side
When he had first formed The Resisty there issues that needed to be sorted out. Most of these issues were solved over time while others remained.
These issues couldn't' be solved as easy as the other issues. Even then the quote on quote easily solved issues were still quite difficult to handle.
Sit back and enjoy the story because it is going to be interesting. Here we'll see The Resisty encountering a nice and somewhat considerate stranger..or so they had thought.
The stranger won't be as nice and considerate by the time this story is over with. Join me as we read about everything that one faithful day that would turn into a nightmare for The Resisty.
Irken a word that forever lives in infamy if you were to ask literally anybody. Once a semi peaceful species that cared not for conquest, but for survival. Seeing what they are today is quite the huge change of character.
Change of character is quite the understatement of the year. Though they weren't always the way that we know them today.
They had at one point relied on others to get them through tough times. The Irken Armada weren't always as evil as we know them to be. We can doubt it but in some aspects it was how things were.
Believe it or not there was once was a time where they weren't obsessed with universal conquest. Not with being determined to have all species in the universe hate their guts.
They were allied with a good amount of people and this peach lasted for years . Such peace would make our fragile heads go all over the place.
This was during the peak of Spork and Myuki's reign at the top. They were both willing to cooperate with everybody else in the universe without any issues at all.
One day that all changed when they began turning thier backs on A LOT of people and started to enslave\destroy other species. Several decades of this went on until they were nearly unstoppable.
They have anything and everything that they could ever want and more. Even with that theys won't feel satisfied until they conquer all the known species in the universe.
With that kind of dedication they won't stop until everybody else was dead. Or wanted to be dead after being relegated to being thier slave and or prisoner.
Trust me when I say that they made short work of anybody that The Tallest deemed a threat to thier goals of universal conquest. You might be thinking who were these threats.
The fact of of the matter is that you could be seen this way quite easily. Word of advice NEVER start a protest on Irk and demand for The Tallest's oppression to end.
When people did that they ended up being locked in prison for life where most died from wounds inflicted by the guards. A few though did manage to escape alive and avoid execution.
That incident was one of many that served to remind those who was in charge. The Tallest knew how to make anybody fear them and this included other irkens.
Anybody who dared to stand up for themselves or others faced dire consequences. Which is exactly the reason nobody wanted to stand up to them in fear of being killed or worse.
If you so much as even looked at an irken the wrong way you were deemed a threat. You were basically thier property that they could get rid of at any time they wanted.
This rain of terror went on for as mentioned earlier decades during which multiple different irkens reigned as The Tallest. From Spork and Myuki to now with Red and Purple.
Nobody fought back against these tyrants during any of those decades. That all changed one day when a vortian by the name of Lard Nar had seen enough of this and set out to stop it once and for all
He decided to do what no one had the guts to do and that was fight back. Which is exactly what he did. He gathered as many people as he could trust and together they all formed The Resisty.
Stupid name aside they were almost killed until Zim inadvertently saved thier lives. Zim probably would've let The Tallest kill them if he had known or cared about The Resisty.
They went into hiding after that day but not before saying that they would be back. It was finally time for them to keep that promise. How exactly were they going about doing that?
Let me tell you how they had the bright idea to hide on one of the most irken populated planets in the universe. Thier logic being that they wouldn't look somewhere obvious to try and find them. (Yes it was Spleenk's idea)
Honestly sounds great but there were still a lot of issues that needed to be sorted out. Who would've thought fighting The Irken Armada would be as difficult as it is?
The planet they were on would be about number five on a list of irken populated planets. Hey I like watching videos like that call it a odd pastime.
Once they had made it there they landed thier ship next to some area that had no traces of life anywhere. They were hoping to find a place to stay for the night.ß
Their ship had enough space to hold them all but they still wanted to make it less crowded. Better than floating around space all day is how I'd look at it.
With all that being said let's see if this rag tagged group can get what they need. Or are things only going to get worse for The Resisty and their hopes of survival.
A door opens in the back of The Resisty's Ship and we see both Lard Nar and Spleenk exit the ship. They were going to check out the area to make sure it was safe enough for them to stay.
As the two were heading off, the cloaked member of The Resisty aka Ixane spoke to the two when they left. She was concerned that these two would get you know killed.
Though that is understandable when they are two of the only people who want to make life better for all. Which involved trying to end the oppressive nature of The Irken Armada.
In case your wondering I did some research in order to find her name and it was easier than I thought. "Do try not to get killed out there. "Yeah it would kinda be sorta depressing if you got caught..or worse.
Skloonktapooxis said chiming in after Ixane's statement trying to stay positive. "We'll be fine. "If we feel in danger than we'll head straight back.
"Lard's right we will be fine. Spleenk adds in agreeing with Lard Nar. "Fine but be careful anyways. "We don't want to hear on the TV that you two got arrested and or killed.
"She's right, like I said before It'd be bad if that happened. "Do you have to do that? "Sorry that's a force of habit. "I need to work on that. "Won't argue with that.
"Relax both of you. "We'll be right back. "We're only checking the area out to see if there's anywhere safe on this planet for us to stay for the night.
"Like I said don't get into trouble and stay safe. "We will don't worry. "Ok then bye. "Bye. Both Lard Nar and Spleenk say in unison as they head off to search the area.
Little did they know they would soon be face to face with somebody they weren't expecting. Only issue is how would they handle the situation. Soon we would find out.
After searching around for about forty five minutes they end up finding nothing. Giving their status as wanted fugitives this would be a good thing right?
No in fact this confused both Lard Nar and Spleenk who both thought this was strange. The planet they were on was known for having one of the highest irken populations.
They did manage to find a town of some sorts. If you can even call it that because it was nearly a ghost town. You could sense that this place had a dead feeling to it.
While there was some people out in the open, it wasn't nearly as crowded with irkens as they expected. "Man I hate it here. "Being posted up on this dirt ball of a planet.
We see an irken guard say while patrolling the area. There was another guard next to him that made some comments of his own. "Relax we have it easy unlike the others. "Try being where the aristocrats used to live.
"That's where most of the other guards are. "What is going on here Lard? "I have no idea but something tells me this planet isn't where we should be.
They had no clue what to think of this. It had made no sense to either Lard Nar or Spleenk. Did the irkens destroy this town or did they get the wrong planet
While they were thinking about this fog begins to form around them. They were no longer in the main part of the town and that thought was in both of thier minds.
This only made thier confusion worse as they were expecting to see a larger town than what they had found. Were they lost due to the fog who knows...oh I do so let us continue.
"Lard do you notice anything weird about this place? "Yes this is strange. "We should be seeing irkens as far as the eye can see. "Though it's like there isn't anybody here in this area at least.
"Does that mean this planet is safe for us to hide? "Cause if that is the case then we shouldn't worry. "It should..let's head back to the ship and tell them we should be fine here.
"There's one issue with that though. "What is it? "How are we going to get back to the ship? Spleenk says as we see that their isn't a building in sight.
This was due to the fog growing even thicker than it was before. After a brief pause Lard Nar realizes what Spleenk had said and calmly goes to address it.
"This is fine all we need to do is not panic. "No offense, but how can I not panic. "We're lost and when people like us get lost they usually end up dead.
"Like I we'll be fine as long as we stay calm. "Panicking won't get us anywhere. "Again no offense, but we're lost and have no idea where we are.
"Have you tried using the GPS tracker? "I've been using it and it's not working. "That's strange it was working when you grabbed it. Lard Nar says confused at the malfunctioning GPS.
"I know but it's not working. Lard Nar turns the tracker over to check it's battery life. Seeing as they didn't have access to high quality gear this was more common that he would like to admit.
"The batteries are fine. "What's wrong with it then? "I don't know but I do know there's an issue with me powering it up. "It looks like it might've been hacked.
"How? "I think the better question is who decided to hack it. "Agreed though even if we found out who messed the GPS up we don't know what they have messing with it.
"That would be an issue of it's own. "Until then I guess we need to keep going. "Soon we'll find the ship and then we can leave. "Good cause this place is starting to scare me.
As they were going back and forth about thier situation they suddenly hear movement from the fog. The two of them stop thier conversation and look to the direction in the fog they heard the noise from.
"Lard did you hear that? Spleenk asks silently while trembling in fear at the noise. "Yes I heard it. A voice is then heard in in the distance that scares both Lard Nar and Spleenk. "You two lost?
The voice said filling the seemingly quiet area with his statement. Lard Nar after some thinking hesitantly responds to the voice's question.
"Uh yes. "Who's asking? "The names Daqon. "Ok well Daqon we mean no harm we were only seeing if this planet is safe. "Safe for what exactly.
"We and a few others needed a place to hide. "Let me guess, your The Resisty. "Uh you've heard of us? "I've heard plenty about what you and your antics have caused The Tallest.
"Really? "Yes in fact me and old colleague of mine were looking for you. "Do you mind if we talk face to face? "No not at all. Daqon proceeds to head over to introduce himself.
Lard Nar had doubts in his head trying to say to him that this wasn't right. He didn't get much time to think about that as Daqon had walked closer to them to properly have a conversation with both him and Spleenk.
A few more seconds later he reveals that he was more than a stranger. Lard Nar found that out and was shocked at what he saw walk up to him and Spleenk.
Daqon was in fact an irken who stood there with dark blue eyes and a black uniform. This reveal only made Spleenk more scared at what was happening.
He also was holding a weapon in his hand. It was a gun that was glowing purple. The rest of the gun was black to make it look pretty stylish if you ask me.
Silence filled the air until Daqon quickly broke it. "Glad to see we can speak face to face don't you agree? Spleenk out of fear puts his hands up and closes his eyes hoping that whatever happened would be quick.
"Relax you idiot. "Don't speak to him like that. "He's being an idiot. "Can you really blame him when he's looking at a mindless puppet like you? "Huh funny I haven't heard that in quite some time.
"What are you even doing here? "Like I said I've been looking for you and your resistance. "Is it so you can turn us into The Tallest that way they can execute us?
"As much as I would love for that to be the case I have other orders. "Which are what exactly? "You don't need to know that. "Yes we do. "It'd be in your best interest to tell us what your doing here.
"Fine I needed to meet up with another irken, but my ship was destroyed by some bandits. "Where exactly were you headed? " Look we're not here to ask a hundred questions.
"I only want to see if your a threat or not. "Your overreacting cause I am far from a threat. "Get to the point then "Gladly my point is that I need a ride to the planet Conventia.
"I have orders to deal with an annoyance there for my old colleague. "All I ask is that you drop me off there and after that you and Resisty friends can do whatever when I leave.
"Do you honestly think we're stupid? "Yes actually I do. "What would make you think we'd give an irken an ride? "I have powerful friends that will gladly inform you.
"Lard I think we should give him the ride. "What.. have you lost your mind? "Seems like your friend is smart unlike you. Lard Nar grabs Spleenk and brings him over to the side to where they start arguing.
"Have you lost your mind? "No It's that he might give us a safe path back to the ship. "We don't know where it is. "Yeah but trust me this will be fine.
"It also wouldn't be the weirdest guest we've had on the ship. "Remember that one doctor? "He was a nut job and yet we still let him on board.
"I guess your right. "Alright Daqon we'll bring you with us. "Though if you try and hurt anybody I promise we'll make you regret it. "Thank you and uh..no promises.
"Do allow me to find your ship for you. Daqon grabs some sort of tool out of his pak and it highlights a path on it's screen. "Whoa what is that? "Is it some type of weapon?
"It's a GPS you idiot. "It can also trace any ship based on whoever is on it and the kind of ship thier using. "Doesn't that seem like obsessive?. "No, we have other tools and equipment that fit that description.
"Ok lead the way then. "Can do. The three of them leave the area and begin heading off to find The Resisty's ship. Here was hoping that Daqon could be trusted.
After some time walking and asking questions that have no relevance to the story go by they eventually make it back to The Resisty's Ship. They were the usual questions that might seem interesting but weren't
Daqon looked at the ship with confidence as he had brought Lard Nar and Spleenk back to thier ship. "Is that it? "Yes. "So much for it being a dud vortian.
"I have a name. "Whatever I don't take orders from you. "Says the mindless slave who obeys those tyrants up in The Massive. "You know I'd watch what you say about The Tallest.
"Cause you never know when those "tyrants" will do in response. "The Tallest are spineless little rats who pick at the bones of the people they've killed to do anything.
"If anybody is a rat it's you and The Resisty. "How so? "You "pick the bones" at every little failure you claim they have and use it to promote your cause.
"Hey uh we shouldn't start an argument. "Your friend is right. "We wouldn't want you to go and lose another home would we. Daqon says as he heads over to the ship leaving Lard Nar fuming with rage.
Spleenk had to try holding him back from fighting him. This was not easy as Spleenk wasn't the strongest. "Lard relax. "RELAX! "Did you not hear what he said to me?
"Don't worry I did. "Trust me fighting him is not really a good idea and that's me who's saying that. "I..I know. "Sorry it's..you know all to well how I feel about losing Vort to those animals.
"Trust me we hear the nightmares you and Skloonktapooxis have nearly every day. "We should get back to the ship. "Your..right Spleenk. "Thanks for uh calming me down a little.
"Don't mention it. "Perhaps I was letting my anger get the best of me. The two turn to head to thier ship and see Daqon currently in an argument with Ixane who wouldn't let the irken inside the ship.
She made sure he couldn't enter the ship being unaware of the agreement that he made with Lard Nar and Spleenk. Needless to say that this quickly caused a scene.
"Look I won't say it again. "I don't want any issues. "You seriously think that your getting in here. "I already told you I was with your friends like two times already.
"I know them and as stupid as they can be they would rather die than be caught next to an irken. "So leave or you aren't going to like what happens to you.
"I see that this is your way of trying to seem tough in front of the others. "That bravado can only get you so far. "If I were you I'd move and let me in. Daqon says towards Ixane in a threatening manner.
"Not a chance. "Fine have it your way. Daqon went to move her out of the way but was pushed back by Ixane. As the two stared at each other Daqon is brought to the ground by Lard Nar.
He laid two shots into the irken who then kneed him in the stomach and kicked him away so he could get up. Spleenk once again had to hold Lard Nar back in order to stop the fight.
Ixane who was as confused as she could show with that cloak on and stared at the situation. "What's going on out there? A random Resisty member says as confused as Ixane.
"Nothing stay inside and don't panic. "Uh ok but something doesn't seem ok out there. "Trust me we're handling the situation. After that short conversation Ixane turns to ask about the situation.
"Lard do you mind telling us who this is? She didn't get an answer as he was to busy staring daggers into Daqon as the irken did the same. "Or you you know ignore the question.
Spleenk had to be the one to explain what was happening and he did it the best he could. He wanted to also try and prevent another fight from starting.
"You see long story short is we got lost and he escorted us back in exchange for a ride. "Is that a joke or are you actually serious. "No. "Ok that is by far the stupidest idea you've ever had.
"Not all of it was my idea. "Is that true Lard? "Yes it is and I told him that if he tried to hurt anybody that he would regret it. "Hence the reason for me doing what I did.
"Hey guys what's all the commotion about? Skloonktapooxis says taking a look at the scene that was being caused. When he saw Daqon he instantly turned back after his face went from curious to scared.
"Look I know that this seems bad but once we bring him to his destination we never have to see him again. "That is incredibly stupid. "I know but please I promise he won't do anything trust me.
"I wouldn't agree to this unless I'd know that we'd have it under control. "Fine get in and let's get this over with. Ixane says hesitantly while trying to stay calm.
They all get into the ship and once again Lard Nar and Daqon are face to face. They had a short stare off before heading inside the ship before flying off to bring Daqon where he needs to be.
A few moments go by until we see the rest of The Resisty members stare at Daqon while frozen with fear. Skloonktapooxis begins to question Lard Nar about this while other members continue to stare at Daqon.
"Lard I hate to be the one to ask this, but uh what is an irken doing on the ship? "It's not that easy to explain. "Are we going to die? "Cause this seems like that's the case. "No we're not.
"Is this his way of threatening us? "No it's none of that. "Ok then what exactly is he doing here? "Me and Spleenk got lost and the GPS was hacked by some unknown.
"Which is where we found the irken who's name is Daqon. "I see and uh I guess he is hijacking our ship right? "No in fact he wants a ride to the planet Conventia.
"That's kinda weird. "What reason would an irken have for wanting a ride with us? "Not sure, though we should stay calm and keep our eyes on him at all times.
"Do you think you can do that? "Don't worry I can do more than that. "Nowhere will be safe for him and I'll make sure of that. "Thank you and please be safe yourself.
"Staying safe is my specialty. "That and being paranoid of literally everything I see and hear. "That's exactly the reason I need you to keep an eye on him and stay safe. "Don't worry man I got this.
"That's good to hear. Lard Nar turns to head over to Ixane and try to explain the situation considering he's more calm now. "Ixane uh..sorry about that confrontation out there.
She looks back at Lard Nar with the most dirty look she could give with her eyes being more than enough of a response. "I get it your not thrilled to see an irken on the ship.
"Not being thrilled is a massive understatement. "You seriously think he's going to behave himself while he's here. "Probably not but trust me I will deal with him if he tries to hurt anybody.
"I don't doubt that for a minute. "What I do doubt is that he isn't going to let us go unharmed when he does leave. "It's not like we have the resources to fight back if he doesn't keep his word.
"He isn't going to hurt us, I promise you that. "Let's hope your right. "I hope so to. "We might have grown in numbers but that can change with him on board.
They both turn to go and do other things while continuing with thier day. Daqon was behaving himself so far but again that could change if he feels like causing harm to anybody on board.
Lard Nar heads over to Spleenk while Ixane heads over to her other cloaked colleagues. On the way to heading to Spleenk Lard Nar once again ends up face to face with Daqon.
"Vortian. "Irken. "So this is The Resisty's Ship. "Yes it is? "It looks no different than those vortian ships that she had to scrap for parts on Dirt.
"Sorry we couldn't get a fancy irken ship. "Next time we'll make sure to cover it with some of the spare blood The Armada's spilled. Daqon didn't respond to this and turned his head to the side annoyed.
"Who exactly is this other irken your taking orders from? "Nobody that you need to be concerned about. "She's in the middle of her own issues and that means I have to do this.
"There a reason you owe her a favor. "Thirty years years ago I had a mission on Dirt that required information gathering from a prisoner. "On my way back some idiot accidently caused a half broken ship to land on me.
"I was there for an hour in excruciating pain and when I thought I had died I merely woke up in some bed with a back brace on. "She had saved me only because she pitied me.
"That and it made her remember pain that another irken had caused her. "I figured this speech she gave me was to convince me to do this favor for her and it was.
"She didn't care about me..nobody did. "The others that passed me by didn't do anything but laugh and ignore my pain. "I'd love to see thier pain filled faces if they were stuck there.
"While I was there I tried to escape the crash, but that only made my spine hurt worse. "It felt like I was being pulled apart slowly by the debris.
"After she saved you couldn't you say that you couldn't do that favor she asked? "Two reasons, one is that if it wasn't for her I'd be dead or unable to ever walk again.
"The second is that I would've been healed by the time she needed me to get rid of this person. "Who? "Some kid by the name of Teqa who she thinks will be an issue for her in the future.
"She was a fool to aid me. "I didn't need or want her help but she insisted. "She only fixed me properly after I agreed that I would owe her a favor in the future.
"Years went by and nothing. "Then she chooses to have me get rid of him and some other long term issue for her. "Which is what? "It's nothing besides I already said to much.
Daqon walks off leaving Lard Nar to question what exactly he meant by all of that. He kinda felt sorry for him even though he knew the monster he was.
Nothing major happened until the middle of the night when Lard Nar heard a noise out of his room. Like I said the inside of The Resisty's Ship is a lot larger than on the outside.
Most if not all members have a room of thier own. The maximum number of members who share one room at a time in case you were wondering was five.
Though you probably think that doesn't add anything to the story well you are wrong. Cause it adds something called context so we know more about what's happening.
Either way back Lard Nar who goes to check on whatever was making that noise. He kept following the source of the noise it leads him to the lower level of the ship.
Lard Nar thought to himself what was causing this sound. Could it be the engine shutting down or some other issue. "Hey is anybody in here?
He figured he should ask in case anybody was actually in the engine room. There was no response and the sound that he heard had stopped.
Who was in that room he though to himself. He had a feeling he knew who it was though part of him hoped it that it wasn't. Perhaps it was him worrying to much about Daqon trying to hurt them.
After going through a maze like corridor he makes it to the end while thinking to himself what was the point of adding this much room to this ship. Then he realized that he needed more room for storage and sleeping areas.
Let me be honest with you for a second. During the time that they were in hiding Lard Nar and the rest of The Resisty did all that they could to get stronger. (usual struggles of taking down a powerhouse like the The Irken Armada)
I guess with that is the price of being lost in an engine room for five minutes. Guess you know exactly how they seem braver than they were before.
Anyways like I was going to say before I interrupted yet again. Lard Nar had found what was making the noises he heard. Though it was exactly what he had feared it would be.
He saw Daqon standing by one of the engines. "Funny I was about to find and ask you to follow me. "Is there a reason your even in here when we gave you a room to stay in?
"Yes you did, but I figured I'd take a tour of the place. "I have to say usually escape pods aren't in an engine room. "We didn't have many other locations.
"Plus it's the safest way in case anybody with bad intentions sneaks on board. "You accusing me of having bad intentions. "Even after I poured my heart out to you.
"Irkens have no hearts, your no different then the rest of them. "Actually we do though it's not as big as yours . Daqon says sarcastically while turning to face The Resisty leader.
"Real clever. "You mind telling me the reason your even in here? "Isn't it obvious? "No that's the reason I am asking you what your doing. "I was using the escape pod.
"For what..what have you done to this ship? Daqon gives him a dirty look after answering his question. "Nothing. "I don't believe that for a second.
"What have you done rig the ship to crash or give out our location to The Tallest so they can destroy the ship themselves. "Like I said I didn't do any of that.
"No if I were to do anything it would be more subtle than that. "Like what? "Alright if it's an answer you want than look in the escape pod and you'll get what you want.
"Go on the answer to your question is in there. "What have you done? Daqon doesn't answer Lard Nar's question and instead moves to the side to let him see what he wanted him to see.
Lard Nar looked absolutely shook at what he saw in that pod. What he saw in the pod was his close friends tied up and unconscious. His reaction is how I would expect most people to react.
Spleenk and Ixane had thier hands tied together or lack of hands in Skloonktapooxis's case who had a rope around his entire body. Lard Nard wasn't going to let Daqon do this to his friends without consequences.
Enraged he turned to confront Daqon only to be hit in the face with a gun. He fell to the floor but wasn't knocked out only dazed and confused. It would take more than that to knock him out.
All he could hear was Daqon laughing up a storm at intercepting Lard Nar's punch. "I got to say you not being unconscious is nearly commendable.
Lard Nar had managed to get to one knee and had shook off most of the pain. He gets kicked in the chest adding more pain alongside his face.
"That all ends. "I..I knew you couldn't be trusted. "Irken leech. "Name calling is that all you have left. "You would think that you would have more than that.
"Though I shouldn't be shocked. "You vortians have egos that prevent them from making the right choices. "The Resisty was one of many bad choices.
"What is thier to gain in fighting a fight that isn't capable of being won. "You know there is only way that this ends and you know that there is no way to avoid it.
"That's exactly the reason..that we never surrender. "We'll keep fighting until the day we all die. Lard Nar says defiantly while trying to stand up and confront Daqon face to face.
Eventually Lard Nar manages to stand up though is still shook after getting attacked. "Your probably thinking to yourself as to what exactly is going on.
"You lured them in here and tied them up to what kill them. "Yes to an extent. "The thing is the drill looking guy and the one that was with you earlier were following me around.
"Obviously I caught on to this and lured them into this room. "Then I threatened both of them into the pod. "After that I pointed the gun at the green ones head and demanded he get the cloak girl in here.
"Once she did I knocked her out then the other two one by one. "You animal. "Are those your orders? "Yes and it all goes back to favor that I owed.
"What? "You see vortian the favor was to get rid of you and your friends before you and The Resisty get stronger to where you could potentially ruin what she is plotting.
"No instead I intend on finishing this and moving on from her. "You don't have to do this favor for her. "Your right I don't. "Though your still a major issue to The Tallest.
"Either way you look at it you and The Resisty are on borrowed time. "Is there a reason she only wants only the four of us? "Without you The Resisty doesn't have anybody capable of being a true enough leader.
"That being said you should be grateful your deaths will be less painful than what they'll do to you. "I'd ask you to surrender but that isn't happening is it.
"Not even my worst day would I ever consider surrendering to an irken. "I figured that so how about we do this. "I'll give you three chances to give up.
"Refuse and I'll shoot one of your friends for each refusal. "You wouldn't dare. Daqon points the gun at Spleenk and nearly shoots him to show that he isn't lying.
Lard Nar instantly panicked as he obviously didn't want to lose any of his friends. "Do you see what I will do if you refuse? "If you had any sense of loyalty you'd join your them in death.
"What'll it be vortian, surrender or resist. Lard Nar stood there not knowing what to do. He could surrender or one of his close friends would die.
The two minutes he thought about what to do felt like hours as he was nervous one wrong move and it was over. Daqon was losing his patience and wasn't pleased at all.
"Enough of this delay either make your choice or I will for you. Lard Nar took a deep breath before reluctantly answering the irkens demands.
"Surrender I choose surrender. "Good, you've made the right choice. Daqon says with a smile on his face as he puts the gun away. Lard Nar reluctantly enters the pod.
Once he had entered the pod he looks at his friends before saying something to them. Issue with that is they were unconscious and couldn't hear him.
"Sorry...I've failed you. "We shouldn't have brought him onboard. "Touching but soon you four will have a one way trip into a rift that'll tear you all apart and kill you. "Do have a nice trip.
This was it Lard Nar thought to himself. Everything that he had built over the last couple years to at least stand a chance was about to end.
Daqon went to grab a rope to tie Lard Nar up and ensure that he doesn't try to escape. "I'd hoped vortian that you'd realize your in a losing fight. "Though that wasn't the case and you had to continue to fight.
"Surely part of you had to realize that eventually this would end up happening to you. "I guess none of that matters. Daqon says with disappointment towards Lard Nar.
"Agreed but you killing us won't stop our cause. "In death The Resisty will grow to be stronger than any irken in the universe. "Sure and I might end up running into that issue one day.
"For you it's the end for your little charade. "I wouldn't be honest if I said it was an honor to finally meet you. "So goodbye and have a nice trip.
As Lard Nar was about to embrace his death, something gives off a high pitched pinging sound. Like a text you'd get on a phone only in this case more futuristic and unique.
"What does she want? "I thought she'd wait for me to finish this. Daqon pushes some button on his glove and it pulls up some kind of blueish screen.
He still kept his eyes on Lard Nar in case he tried anything and began speaking with whoever it was that called him. "What is it? "If your going to ask I was about to get rid of that issue for you.
A male voice then speaks and isn't anybody Daqon was wanting to hear. The voice isn't one that belongs to anybody that Lard Nar had known either. It almost seemed like a last second blessing was thrown his way.
"Guess again. Daqon had a look of confusion as he was at a loss as to who this was. "WHAT..who is this? "Hey watch the shouting I already have people who get on to me about noise already.
"I could care less who gets on to you about that..who are you and how did find this frequency? "Guess I am not as clueless as you think don't you agree.
Lard Nar looks at this and is thinking to himself that this is crazy. He also considers this his only chance to get out of this situation. If only he would look away so that he could escape.
All he needs is Daqon to look away for long enough in order for him to take advantage of what's happening. "So uh how's her mission going along?
"There a reason you care? "I don't know it might be because it dangers several planets and millions of people. "That being said I figured I'd get involved and stop that.
"Hate to break it to you but that fate isn't up to you. "Soon you and your colleagues in that low budget base you hide in will be in a jail cell awaiting a slow painful execution.
"Sorry but that's not happening as long as people like us still live. Daqon was to busy talking with whoever this stranger was that he had forgot to tie up Lard Nar.
Whoever this was it didn't matter to Lard Nar currently. He wanted to get rid of Daqon before he tried to save the others. This was his only chance to prevent The Resisty from being gutted from within by an irken.
He stands up and slowly makes his way over to Daqon after he turns his back to him for a minute to check the entrance. Daqon wanted to make sure nobody had heard him after his outburst.
Lard Nar quickly runs at Daqon and tackles him to the ground. As they landed on the floor they ended up accidently ending the call with the stranger who inadvertently saved Lard Nar's life.
Daqon grabs the gun to shoot him but Lard Nar grabs it and throws it to the side. He's kicked off by Daqon who grabs and punches the vortian and sends him back.
He then charges at Lard Nar and slams him against the wall. Daqon gets thrown back after hitting him with a knee to the jaw. Lard Nar shakes it off and heads back to the irken.
The two of them throw punches that the other dodges and eventually ends up with them having a short conversation. "You will regret ever crossing paths with us Daqon.
"Your threats mean nothing to me. "Anybody on this ship can sound tough with words. "It's about your actions that mean anything to me vortian. "It's more about using your words. "You need to be able to back it up.
"I'll be willing to go through any hurdle you throw at me "Go right on ahead and try then. The two once again throw a punch and both of them connect sending them both to one knee.
Lard Nar throws another punch only for it to be caught by Daqon. He grabs his arm and throws him down to try and break the vortians arm in order to subdue him.
Thankfully before he could try that he suddenly falls back and shouts in pain. He was holding his shoulder in pain as if something happened to him.
When he looks up at the pod and notices something peculiar. There were two people still in the pod but one was missing and had escaped.
"Wh..what? He turns around to Ixane was standing there holding his gun. Lard Nar is stunned by this and hesitates before letting out a "short sentence".
"Ixane? "You? Daqon let out a pained groan as he fell to one knee after speaking his mind. "How did you.escape? "Well first of all he was in a hurry to get this stupid favor done for his friend.
"Second thing was that even a child could get themselves free from that. "How didn't you get out sooner? "You forget he knocked me unconscious.
"Right I guess I forgot that while dealing with him. "Look take the gun and keep him busy while I untie these two. She throws the gun to Lard Nar and heads over to the pod.
"What's next you going to kill me? "You know after everything that happened over the past twenty four hours I'd expect you'd want to kill me after this.
"We only hardly knew you for half that time. "If that's what you think then fine. "Though be honest you really think you showed up on that dirt ball of a planet due to a mistake.
"What are you talking about? "Your little detour was my way of isolating you all so I could get rid of you. "You hacked into our equipment? "How'd you do that?
"It was easy when you have poorly built gear that could be used as toys for a child. "I figured that after everything you'd want to get payback for what I did.
"Your right Daqon. "I do want to kill you for what you did to the only family I have left. "For everything you did you deserve it. "Then what are you waiting for..do it.
"No. "What? "What do you mean no? "If I were to kill you it wouldn't solve anything. "It would only make fighting for our cause a lot more challenging.
"Also I won't lower myself to an irken's way of handling a situation. "Killing you will only make me like you. Lard Nar says defiantly as he throws the gun to the side again.
Ixane heads back over to Lard Nar after removing the bindings from Spleenk and Skloonktapooxis. "Ugh..what happened. "Last thing I remember was I heard a noise from the engine room and here we are.
"Spleenk you ok? "I think. "I agree I don't know if everything is good. "Trust me it was nearly it for us but he was called by one of his enemies I guess at the last second and it saved our lives.
"Which reminds me Daqon who was that? "Your not getting a word from me. "Hate to break it to you man you already gave us a word. "No wonder I taped your mouth shut.
"It was because your annoying. "One thing I can actually agree with you on. "Hey. "What being honest. "You got a point but still. "Uh Lard what are we going to do with him?
"Yeah what are we going to do with him? "Ixane are the windows on that pod broken? "No. "Good Skloonktapooxis can you grab me the bindings?
"Sure. He responds after zooming across the room and back to Lard Nar with bindings. They proceed to tie up Daqon with all of the rope he had planned to use on them.
They even taped his mouth shut as an extra slap in the face. Lard Nar gave one last statement to Daqon before sending him off. "Have a nice trip Daqon and try not to get hurt when you get there.
After that statement they send Daqon and the pod out into space to float to a destination that isn't what Daqon was hoping for. "Where exactly did we send him again?
"Back to his home planet..Irk. "I see. "I'd say that was enjoyable and part of it was but mostly not enjoyable at all. "I wonder what the others are going to think of this?
"Look the way I see it is we still made it out alive. "I want to let you all know that he forced me to surrender or else he would've killed you one by one.
"That sounds weird. "I agree and you were willing to give up everything we've fought for to save us? "Yes cause after all you three are the closest thing to a family I have left.
"Yeah family. "We did it I almost can't believe we made it out alive . "Ixane you have anything to add? "All I can say is that you sounded stupid saying it like that.
"What I was only trying to lighten a very tense mood. "Plus this both relaxes and makes us laugh..or at least I hope. "You guys are weird but loyaland that's part of the reason I joined..that and to stop The Irken Armada.
"Amen to that. "What next Lard? "We redirect our ships course and try and relax on the way there. "Great then let's get going. "I couldn't agree with you more.
We transition to The Massive to see an irken enter the room where The Tallest's observe everything and get called twenty four seven by Zim.
They haven't had a day that went by without thinking about what happened in the florpus. It's almost like thier time in there changed thier perspective on somethings.
Both changed inside the Florpus and not for the better for any of their enemies. They weren't going to stop until they find whoever caused them to fly into it.
Although they still had that charm that made them the people that we've grown to love. The irken had made it's way over to The Tallest and awaited acknowledgement.
"Your late. Red said in a slightly irritated tone while staring at the solider. "I am greatly sorry My Tallest. "I needed to make sure that this news wasn't a lie. "Ok and what exactly is it then?
"It's Invader Larb he was taken by some random thugs. The irken says answering Purples question while looking scared out of his mind. "Great first Zim had us in a call for two hours then this.
"Don't worry I think I have the right people to go and have rescue him. "Really and who is that? Red whispers a name into Purples ear and this peaks his interest.
"That's a great idea on paper but will it work? "Trust me they might be idiots but there useful idiots. "Ok if you say so. "Your dismissed soldier. The soldier salutes leaves the room.
The Tallest though seem to have a plan to get Invader Larb out of his situation. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens next time until then goodbye and see you later.
Another story in the books again and like i've said before we are only getting started. Thank you for making it to the end of this story and I can't wait to see you in the next one.
