RWBY: The Verdant Light of Remnant
Chapter 21: Let the Battle Begin!
Author's Notes: So um... Hey guys, sorry this took so long. I was originally gonna make this chapter a tide bit longer & have the entire mission take place here, but decided to end on a cliffhanger instead so that i wouldn't make you guys wait any longer than you already are for an update. On a sidenote, yesterday was my Birthday! I'm now 21 years old, it's kinda hard to believe that.
Anywho, before i begin this chapter, i wanna show you guys something i've been wanting to do for a while. A few chapters ago, i showed you guys the current Support Ranks of The Garnet Papillons & for a while, i wanted to share you guys their current classes & levels... As much as i wanted to show you guys this earlier, i actually think this is a great place to do this, so here we are! The classes i'm about to show you are from a word Doc. i TRIED to share with you guys on twitter, but couldn't because it doesn't let me share doc links... Maybe i'll try via Google Drive after posting this chapter, so don't forget to follow me on twitter: DxBardock to get your hands on them soon.

I *WILL* keep updating these from time to time, maybe like- every 10-15 chapters or after a big arc ends i'll do these. Leave your personal thoughts on the character's current levels & stats below & don't forget to follow me on twitter to get yourself links for these classes & a sheet to make your own yourself... The Garnet Papillons hopped aboard Sapphire's ship & began heading towards the great Northeast of Vale for their first mission as Huntsmen & Huntresses, enjoying their ride through the high skies. During their trip, Blake suddenly had visions from the past during her meditation & went outside to catch some fresh air. Thanks to a small talk with Yang where they relate to one another more & more, she calms down a little more. They eventually arrive at their meeting point, where they encounter the 2 children of the Chieftain of the town: Hunter & Ashley Chloris. While Ashley is very welcoming towards our heroes, Hunter is a little bit off-putted by having them be the ones Ozpin send to get rid of the bandits. But for now, he bites his tongue.
Byleth talks to the Chieftain of the town: Fawn Chloris, she learned that the town has a national treasure, a crystal orb. Despite the chances being very low, she believes that this crystal ball might be one of the 3 Sacred Treasures. Whether or not her theory's true, Byleth's not risking finding it out, so she plans to take a look at the crystal ball from up-close once she gets the chance. Will our heroes be successful in their mission to reclaim the town from the bandits, or will they be biting off more than they can chew on their first mission as Huntsmen & Huntresses? Find out all & more now…
We begin our story on the following day at late noon, in the town the bandits are currently occupying, which surprisingly enough, isn't in complete wreck. Granted, they still did some good damage to the town, most buildings are pretty damaged aside from the main manor. But overall, it's not in such a bad condition & the nice fresh air that flows through the town feels really nice.
Sitting on the Chieftain's chair was a young woman with dark blue hair tied in a ponytail & a striking bloodred bandana. Her attire was the typical bandit attire, with a few modifications. Her shirt and vest cut above her abs, reveling some cleavage as well. Her wrists were wrapped around with white tapes, yet you can still see long, thick scars peak out from them.
She hears a sudden knock at her doorstep, which made her open one of her sharp golden eyes of an eagle. When she spoke out to whoever's outside of the door, her voice was coarse as gravel, yet held a dignified trill to it, as if she were small bits of diamond were scatters within the ruff.
Bandit Leader: You may come in.
The door opens & out comes a bandit, he enters the room & before he speaks to her.
Bandit: Lady Wave, it seems that we may have some trouble soon. Our reports say that a small group of Huntsmen & Huntresses have arrived not too far from here, they may be from The Kingdom of Vale.
Wave: Huntsmen & Huntresses, huh? Are any of them appear to be Professionals?
The bandit shakes his head before responding.
Bandit: No, our reports only confirm a single Pro. Huntress, a young woman with navy blue hair. As for the other ones, they appear to be children. It might be possible that they'll try to strike us in just a few days.
Wave rubs her chin for a moment before standing up from her chair & looking at the bandit, ready to give him an order.
Wave: I understand… Tell the other bandits to form a defensive position around the town & prepare for an attack soon! Even if most of those Huntsmen & Huntresses are children, they could still pose a threat, don't underestimate them!
Bandit: *Nods* Understood, Lady Wave! I'll give out the order immediately!
The bandit gets up & turns back to leave, but Wave suddenly stops him from he doing so.
Wave: Wait!... What about the stone?... Have you found it yet?
The bandit takes a shaky breath before turning back to face Wave & answer her.
Bandit: Well, almost. We know where it might be, but it seems that we cannot get there. You see, it's deep within this very town, but it seems to be locked away tightly… Not even our strongest men can break through.
Wave: I see… *Clenches her fist* Then keep a few men there to guard it, just in case… You're now dismissed, thank you for the report.
Bandit: Understood, Lady Wave!
Once the Bandit leaves, Wave heads outside to see her fellow bandits roam around this town she raided. She moved with an air of authority, each footstep like the beat of a war drum, yet her body flowed with the grace of a noble woman. She looks up at the sky while gritting her teeth in frustration, feeling like this is just a waste of time.
Wave: Curse that damn "Empress"! A bandit group shouldn't be looking for a random rock that's supposably powerful, why did she even pick us of all people anyway?!... I knew that accepting her so called "Equivalent Exchange" was a bad idea, we're getting nowhere with this!
Wave then takes out a piece of paper with an emblem drawn on it, one that looks like a demonic eye in a vertical position, with a circle drawn around it, said circle having a few crystals on the lower edge. Wave clenches her free hand as she sees this piece of paper.
As Wave keeps looking into the distance, we cut back to our heroes & see how they're holding up. They're inside a larger tent of the camp, standing around a large table where a map of the town is in said table. Byleth is using her respective pieces to explain to the others what will their strategy be one more time before they head out to battle.
Byleth: Alright, here's our current status. There are about a few dozen bandits in this town, some are roaming inside of the town, others are outside guarding the now broken walls, while the stronger ones are inside of the big mansion here at the center of the town. The town itself is not too deep in a forest 5Km from here, we should arrive there in about 2 hours or so. While we don't know if there are currently any Grimm residing in that area, we must be careful to not cause too much of a scene to attract them.
Both the students attending there as well as Hunter listen to what Byleth has to say as they look down at the moving pieces on the map. Before Byleth continues, she looks up at Hunter & asks him something.
Byleth: Hunter, you wouldn't know who the leader of this bandit group is, would you?
Hunter suddenly looks up at Byleth before responding.
Hunter: Yeah, I do… Her name is Wave, Wave Denim. She's a young woman with dark blue hair & carries a pair of swords that can become a bow. Not only is she a capable fighter, she's also a skilled strategist who got really far thanks to both her fellow bandits & her skills when preparing for huge raids… *Looks away in anger* She was also the one who put my Father in that pathetic state!...
Byleth: I see… This will be harder than I thought then… No matter, we can still do this. Our plan is to capture the bandit leader, who we now know is Wave & force the other bandits to surrender. Our main strike force will break through their defenses & hold off the stronger bandits, allowing Blake & Ren to go face Wave & capture her. *Looks at Ruby & Yang who are on her left* On the off chance we attract Grimm, you 2 will take them out before they cause too much trouble. We don't know how many will come from our battles, ya girls think you can handle them?
Both Sisters smile as they express their confidence in this task, with Yang cracking her knuckles & Ruby moving her shoulder around a bit.
Yang: You got it, teach! Just leave those guys to us, Rubes & I will send them flying!
Hunter looks at the 3 of them with utter shock on his face, not believing that Byleth was suggesting to send just 2 girls to take care of any Grimm that will come.
Hunter: Wait, you 2?!Fighting off the Grimm all by yourselves?!
Ruby: Yeah, those heartless freaks are nothing to us. Yang is one of the strongest people I know, it takes a lot to take her out… *Smirks* & When it comes to Grimm Slaying, nobody can do that job better than me!
Hunter says nothing else & just stays quiet, not really knowing what to say about 2 kids who in his eyes, are going a bit over their heads. As Byleth rolls her eyes from the girls' comments, she continues to move some pieces around to continue explaining her plan.
Byleth: Moving on, the main strike force that will hold off the bandits will consist of Nora, Pyrrha & Jaune on the back, with Ruby, Yang, Weiss & myself will go through the front gates. *Looks at Weiss & Jaune* Can you guys give us the support we're going to need?
Both Weiss & Jaune nod at Byleth's orders.
Jaune: Roger that, I'll make sure they don't cause you guys too much trouble.
Weiss: As will I, you can leave it to us.
Byleth smiles at their words before turning to Ren & Blake.
Byleth: As for you guys, you know what to do. Blake will rush in & take out the bandits that come across her & fight off Wave, while Ren gives her some cover. Will that do?
Ren: *Nods* Leave it to me, Prof. Eisner.
Blake: *Smirks* You better not slow me down, Lie Ren. I won't go back & save your ass if you get into trouble.
Ren: Hmph… No promises, Ronin.
The 2 of them give each other an oddly mutually respectful smirk, which catches some of the other students off guard.
Ruby: Uh… Ren? Blake? Something going on between you guys?
Blake scoffs a little before turning to her Leader.
Blake: Nothing for you to be concerned about, just focus on your part of the mission like everyone else.
Ruby puffs her cheeks a little before answering with a rather pouting tone.
Ruby: But I'm your leader, not the other way around…
Blake: Whatever, Kid.
Ruby groans a little from Blake not referring to her by name & called her "Kid" instead… (Again), with Byleth then turning to Hunter before she talks to him.
Byleth: Hunter, is there anything else we should know about these bandits.
Hunter: *Nods* They're the kind of people who don't go for the kill right away, it's like they prioritize having a potentially good battle than achieving a guaranteed victory. Even so, I'd advice to not approach them without caution. They may be bandits, but they're not idiots or incompetent.
Byleth: I see… Is it safe to assume that you'll come with us to lend us a hand?
Hunter: Of course I am! It's my responsibility to finish what my Father started & get back our home!... *Clenches his fists* Besides, I got a score to settle with that woman…
Byleth nods at Hunter before looking back at Blake & Ren.
Byleth: Very well, I'm sure you'll be a great asset to us. Blake, Ren, take Hunter with you!
Ren nods silently at Byleth's order while Blake just turns away, not really a fan of having someone else to "hold her back" as she'd put it. Hunter himself isn't pleased with what he has to work with either since he's not a fan of throwing children into battle like this, but he's hopeful that things will go well for them & that they succeed in their mission. Byleth then claps her hands once to get everyone's attention before dismissing them.
Byleth: Alright, then it's settled! We'll wake up tomorrow around sunrise, head towards the town & set this plan into motion. We should be done before sunset if all goes well. Any questions?
The students all quietly look at each other for a moment to see if anyone has something to say before they head off for the night, only for Hunter to suddenly speak up.
Hunter: Actually, I do!
Everyone's attention suddenly turns to Hunter after he spoke out.
Hunter: How exactly are you supposed to beat a large group of bandits with such a small number of fighters? Said fighters being children who don't know how Remnant truly is?
Some of the students get understandably taken aback & slightly upset at what Hunter just asked them, with Yang being the first to call him out for it.
Yang: What's that supposed to mean? Are you trying to imply that we can't take care of ourselves just because we're "kids" without even knowing a thing about us?!
Hunter: *Looks at Yang* I'm saying you shouldn't be out there at all & waste your lives like this! Things out here aren't like around the outskirts & boarders of the 4 nations, nobody expects you to live for very long out here, let alone people who should spend their time in living their lives instead of struggling to survive! *Looks away* Just the idea of training child soldiers & turning into killers disgusts me…
Ruby: Wait, then why are you fighting?
Hunter then turns to Ruby before he answers her question.
Hunter: I fight so no one else has to, so no one else has to sacrifice a good life like I have to for the sake of others! My Mother always told us that Huntsmen & Huntresses were brave & selfless, always ready to fight for the people when duty calls… So why do they send children to do the job for them instead of doing it themselves?! All of those people are ever good for is take away what isn't theirs & make their problems be someone else's responsibility, just like the King & his servants has ordered you to do right now instead of doing it himself! Helping us save our town should've been his duty, not yours!
Most of the students took all of Hunter's words to heart, realizing that he has a good point. If Huntsmen & Huntresses are supposed to be noble & just, then why don't they do the fighting themselves? Why do they train children to do that job for them?... Some of them already knows the answer as to why, but Hunter's point still stands to an extent. Pyrrha's the one who takes it the hardest, remembering how she grew up in a massive civil conflict & had to become strong just to survive, she doesn't know what being a kid truly is, let alone had the chance to truly experience it.
Hunter: I'll be outside doing night watch duty, don't disturb me.
& With that, Hunter turns back around & leaves the tent as the others are in collective silence from what he said.
Jaune: Do you think he'll be okay?
Byleth: I'm sure he just needs some time for himself for a moment… So, does anyone else has something to say before we hit the futons for the night?
Everyone else looks at each other before looking back at Byleth & shaking their heads.
Byleth: Alright, you're all dismissed for the night! Rest well, everyone.
All of the students aside from Ruby leave the tent, leaving her alone with Byleth as they began discussing some manners in private.
Ruby: Ya sure we shouldn't tell them about that crystal ball we talked about earlier?
Byleth: To be honest, I'm not so sure… But I don't want them to get worried over what's essentially a gambit, that's going to be our role in this mission. While everyone else deals with the bandits, you & I will get our hands in that crystal ball while we still can!... Let's just hope that damn rock is a fake & not the real thing…
Ruby smiles as she crosses her arms confidently.
Ruby: I'm sure that it's not real, but let's just go there & make sure it is. *Looks at the door* Say Byleth… About what Hunter said before he left, do you think he made a point?
Byleth thinks for a moment as a somber expression grows on her face.
Byleth: I'd be lying if I said I didn't to an extent… After all, my whole job is to train these so-called "Child soldiers". I know it's necessary, but it doesn't sit well with me either way… My Father was the same way, he never liked the Huntsman System because of it.
Ruby: I see… *Looks back at Byleth* Well, I always wanted to be a Huntress & follow in my Mother's footsteps, so I don't really mind becoming a so-called "child soldier". If I'm being honest, it's actually pretty fun!
Byleth looks at Ruby in shock, all the while Ruby herself has a smile on her face. But she then sighs in slight annoyance forgetting that this is Ruby she's talking to, her idea of fun is the equivalent of what a wild pretador's idea of fun is to them. Both figuratively, but also extremely literally since they're whole thing is to hunt down their prey.
Byleth: I swear, Ruby… You're unbelievable…
Ruby: What's that supposed to mean?
Byleth just laughs at the slightly annoyed Ruby, somewhat enjoying teasing her star pupil. Byleth can't quite explain it, but the times she spends with Ruby feel… Off, but in a good way. She never felt this way back at Fódlan with everyone else, so why does she feel like something's different whenever she spends time with this girl? She doesn't really know; all she knows it that she hasn't felt this lively in a while & she loves it.
That same night, Hunter is sitting on the grass outside of the camp. It may be fall in the part they're currently in right now, but Hunter can already feel the cold breezes of the night. It's a good thing he took a cloak before heading out here, he'd most certainly catch a cold otherwise. As he sits quietly in the soft grass in peace, he starts to hear some oddly quiet, yet frightening footsteps coming closer to him. He quickly tilts his head back to see who it is, only to find Blake looking down on him.
Hunter: Oh, it's just you… What do you want?
Blake: To have some peace & quiet, I don't like being around other people.
Hunter raises an eyebrow in confusion, he can't quite believe Blake's words.
Hunter: Okay, but why here specifically?
Blake goes to sit down next to Hunter before she speaks up, she also takes out her tea brewing kit to make herself some evening tea.
Blake: No reason, just thought about checking on you…
Hunter: Right…
They both stay quite as Blake makes her tea, the hot, yet nice aroma of the boiling leaves is very nice & oddly relaxing, something Hunter appreciates quite well. At one point, he suddenly speaks up to catch Blake's attention.
Hunter: Hey, um… I'm sorry for causing a scene earlier today… Back in the meeting room, I mean… I'm just too frustrated lately…
Blake: Don't apologize for something like that, dumbass… What you said back there wasn't exactly wrong. Hell, I actually agree with what you said earlier.
Hunter looks at Blake awkwardly before she can continue speaking.
Blake: You're right about one thing… We shouldn't be wasting our lives like this… & That these so-called Noble Huntsmen & Huntresses are nothing more than a fantasy… But it's because they're nothing more than a fantasy that we have to step up to clean up their mess & do their dirty work.
Hunter only grew even more confused as he heard Blake's words, he couldn't quite understand what she was trying to say.
Hunter: But why? You're still children, you shouldn't be doing this!
Blake: Who else will, then? We already established that the adults don't do anything but sit on their chairs like lazy jackasses… All they ever do is make life harder for us, nothing more. *Looks at Hunter* That said, I wouldn't call some of us "kids" anymore.
Hunter: Wait, aren't you all around 17 years old?
Blake chuckles as she begins pouring herself a cup of tea, the nice fresh aroma of the tea felt really nice for the both of them.
Blake: Dumbass… Even you should know that age isn't everything…
Hunter: Okay, is calling people names & triggering them a thing for you?
Blake: Yup! *Offers Hunter a cup* Want some?
Hunter looks back in forth between Blake & the cup of tea she's offering… The tea does look & smell nice & Hunter could use something to keep him refreshed right about now, so he takes the cup of tea without much hesitation.
Hunter: Yes, thank you.
They both began to drink some nicely fresh tea, with Hunter in particular loving it. This tasted really good as well, it's so different from everything he's had in his life. The taste was sweet, yet also very refreshing. Once finishing her cup, Blake continues speaking.
Blake: My point is that some of us have been through our own shares of hell, to the point where calling us kids would be disingenuous… You know that red-haired girl in armor? That's Pyrrha Nikos herself.
Hunter: Wait, what?! That's Pyrrha Nikos?!... She looks so- normal…
Blake: Yup! She was fighting ever since she was a child… In her case, it was in civil wars.
Hunter: "Civil wars"?... Are you referring to the many civil conflicts of Mistral?
Blake: Bingo! She had to deal with those ever since she was little, that's how she got so strong & determined. Some of the other brats have been through something similar too, so none of us are really "kids…" Except for the Atlesian, she's just a spoiled rich brat.
Hunter looks down somberly after hearing all of that, he felt like a thousand needles just went straight to his ears & ended up in piercing his heart.
Hunter: I-… I'm sorry, it must've all been awful…
Blake: Oh, don't even get me started on what happened to me specifically… *Pours some more tea* I'm not one to ask this kind of stuff, but- have some faith in us, alright? Our teacher & her star pupil, those 2 know what they're doing. We're going to be fine.
Hunter takes a moment for himself for him to think about what Blake asked him of, about having faith in the Garnet Papillons. While he still doesn't like the idea of younger people wasting their lives for this kind of stuff, Blake has a point in saying that nobody else will do it. If nobody will try to make a difference, they might as well try to do something. He decides to take this risk & trust his town's future to the Garnet Papillons.
Hunter: Well, I don't really have much choice in the matter, do I? It's either that or my town will forever be run by those accursed bandits.
Blake smirks in amusement at Hunter's response, only to get a bit surprised when he suddenly offered her the cup she lent him earlier.
Hunter: Also… Can I have some more of your tea, please?
Blake smiles before taking her teapot & pouring some tea for Hunter.
Blake: Sure thing, just try not to burn your tongue.
Hunter nods as he takes the cup of tea & takes a small sip of it, once again enjoying the wonderful fresh taste of Blake's tea. After having this conversation with Blake of all people, Hunter begins to feel a little more hopeful about what's coming up ahead.
Speaking of the devil, our heroes begin walking through the plains of Northeast Sanus in the direction where the bandits currently reside. They all woke up around sunrise & left the camp around an hour later, some of them clearly showing how they're not fully accustomed to waking up so early & walking for so long non-stop. Weiss & Jaune are having it the worst as they can not only feel the oddly intense heat starting to take an effect on them, but they can feel their legs slowly getting numb… Although in Weiss' case, it's because she's wearing high heels of all things.
Weiss: Grh… I'm starting to feel like my feet are going to be shredded, how much farther do we have to walk?
Hunter: Not much longer from now. We should be there in about 15 minutes at the pace we're going, just hang in there.
Jaune: Oh, good!... Sorry guys, I-… I'm still not used to this kind of stuff just yet, I never traveled across Remnant on foot like all of you have.
Pyrrha goes next to Jaune & places a supportive hand behind his back to comfort him.
Pyrrha: It's quite alright Jaune. There's a first time for everything, but I'm sure you'll get used to this very quickly.
Ruby looks back at Weiss & how she's starting to not only fall behind, but also sweat a lot… Then again, it is rather hot today & someone who's more used to the cold like Weiss… Yeah, that doesn't sound like a good combination. Our young heroine stops for a moment to check on Weiss & offer her a suggestion.
Ruby: Hey Weiss… If you're feeling like your legs are about to give out, I can carry you for the rest of the way there if you wanna take a breather.
Weiss: Yeah…
Weiss is rather too weak to respond to Ruby's question at first & the weak tone of her voice reflects that… But then she takes a moment to process what she just heard from her leader & gives her a very flustered & confused look, with her cheeks feeling very hot.
Weiss: I beg your pardon?!
Ruby: What? You're the one who's looking like she's about to give out, I just thought I should lend a hand before you completely fall over.
Weiss tries to process Ruby's words even more as she pinches the bridge of her nose in slight frustration & very embarrassed.
Weiss: Then why didn't you ask that question to Jaune?! He's looking even worse than I ever could!
Weiss says that while pointing back at Jaune, who just waves cheerfully at them.
Ruby: Well, I probably could carry him around, but he's a tad too tall for my small arms without dragging him by his hoodie. *Looks at Jaune* No offense, Vomit Boy.
Jaune: None taken!
Ruby: So what do you say, We-
As soon as Ruby turns back to face Weiss, she's immediately walking away just fine, almost as if she didn't have any leg pain to begin with. All the while she has a face as red as a burning hot tomato… Literally.
Weiss: Nonsense! I can walk to our destination just fine; I don't need your bloody help!
Ruby's expression grows into a very baffled & extremely confused one as she questions what happened to Weiss for her to get this sudden adrenaline boost, with Yang placing a hand on her shoulder with a shit eating grin on her face.
Yang: Wow, look at you trying to win over the Princess' heart like that. What, did you start taking some lessons from me in trying to get a girl?
Ruby: "Win over her heart"? Yang, I don't make bad jokes like you do. I just wanted to lend her a hand & make sure she doesn't push herself too much, that's all.
Yang suddenly feels her heart being shattered into pieces as Ruby subconsciously roasts her, to the point that she's now frozen in place from the utter shock of what her Sister just told her. As for Weiss herself, she suddenly stops walking went she spots what it looks to be a town way down from the hill they're on right now. She turns back to the others & calls them over.
Weiss: Hey guys, get over here! I think I found the town!
The group looks at Weiss as they suddenly heard her calling them over, they immediately run towards her & see a small town not far down from where they are. But just to make sure, Byleth looks at Hunter to confirm if this is the place.
Byleth: Is that your town?
Hunter: *Nods* Yeah, it's there alright! I can see some bandits circling around the broken walls from here, Wave must've learned about our plans to come here & made a couple of preparations… We're gonna have to break through if we want to get in there.
Ruby takes a quiet moment for herself before she begins cracking her knuckles & stretching her legs a little bit.
Ruby: Alright everyone! Our mission is to drive away these bandits & capture this Wave woman alive, while making sure the casualty number as minimal as possible. *Turns to Byleth* So, how about we go down there & put our plan into action?
Byleth: Ruby's right. We've come this far, there's no turning back anymore. *Looks at the others* Listen well, everyone! This will be our first true mission as Huntsmen & Huntresses! Our mission is to head in that town, take out the bandits & capture Wave alive! Remember, if things get to rough for you, back away immediately! Understood?!
The Garnet Papillons: Yes, Prof. Eisner!
Byleth nods as she draws the Sword of the Creator.
Byleth: Alright then… Garnet Papillons *Looks at Hunter* & Hunter, MOVE OUT!
Most of the students cheered as they get ready for battle, all the while Hunter's eyes are solely on his town below. This time for sure, he's going to take out Wave & take back his home. If he has to team up with these kids in order to do just that, then so be it! In a matter of minutes, the group splits up into smaller units to attack the town from each side. One stationed at the front gates, one stationed on the back of the town & another is in hiding to wait for the right opportunity to strike.
Byleth, Ruby, Weiss & Yang are taking center stage as they'll charge from the front gates. Jaune, Nora & Pyrrha are going to attack from the opposite side of the town, where there's a huge opening in the now broken walls which are guarded with strong Brigands. Blake, Ren & Hunter are stationed to the east, hidden in some tall trees. Their job is to wait for an opening for them to get into the mansion & take the battle from the inside to take out Wave & capture, as well as take any valuable information they may have in their hands. They must wait for Ruby's signal before they can sneak in & do their part.
Back to Wave, who's talking to some of her stronger members of her Bandit Group. Her scouts spotted the Garnet Papillons coming a few minutes before they arrived at the cliff, which gave her the chance to set up a proper defensive position. Now that they're here, the hour for a battle is here.
Wave: So you're telling me that there's only 10 people coming here to fight us?! 8 kids, their sexy teacher & this "Hunter" guy?
Scout: *Gulps* Y- Yes, Lady Wave. I'm afraid that's all of them, nothing like the 3-dozen people we defeated a few weeks ago! But- are you sure we should pull all of our stocks here? There's barely a dozen of them & most of them are brats!
Wave: That's what they want us to think!... Kids or not, those brats are most likely some of Beacon's Huntsmen in Training… We'd be wise to not underestimate them. *Crosses her arms* We won't be as merciful as we were in our last attack, my fellow men! If we want to win, we have to give them our all!
The bandits in the room know exactly what she means & they nod in agreement, knowing that Wave is giving them the order to use lethal force on our heroes. But before she can dismiss them, she gives them one specific order.
Wave: However, there's only 2 exceptions to this… The small girl in the red hood & that busty blue-haired teacher… I want them here at my feet, alive!
The bandits are rather shocked by that order. Wave is not usually one who takes in any kind of prisoners. When it comes to her enemies, she either spares them & lets them escape or she kills them without any hint of remorse or hesitation. The head Rogue in particular steps up & asks her why she wants Ruby & Byleth alive.
Rogue: Why is that, Lady Wave? Do you wish to recruit them to our group, perhaps?
Wave shakes her head before taking out the sheet of paper with the odd-looking emblem again, all the while her usually cool & elegant eyes grow rather sharp & violent.
Wave: No, it's not for us… Our friend wishes to see those 2 in person herself, something about "Recruiting allies to help her achieve Heaven…" That masked freak causes nothing but trouble, I swear! *Puts the paper away* I don't care what you have to do in order to bring them here, just make sure they're still breathing, understood! As for everyone else, off with all of their heads!
Bandits: Understood, Lady Wave!
The bandits all pump their fists high in the air before the leave the room, just as Wave turns around to take up her large sea shell-looking bow from the wall. She takes a look at her hand, which is suddenly being enveloped in some kind of water. She then looks out side of the window to see the sun to read the time, it's almost 1PM given how it's rather close to the middle, but it's about to leave said middle… Not a bad time for some good & fresh exercise, she's been waiting to use her bow at someone for a while now.
The bandits outside of the city walls begin patrolling the area, waiting for the Garnet Papillons to commence their attack. Once it finally hits 1PM, that's when the battle begins. One of the bandits spot Byleth's group charging from afar, heading towards their current location.
Brigand: Over there, here they come!
[Music: Tearing Through Heaven from Fire Emblem: Three House]
As for Byleth's group, they're currently charging towards the direction of the front gates. Byleth shoots a glance at Ruby before giving her a command.
Byleth: Ruby, we need a clear opening! Can you use your speed to open us a path?
Ruby smirks as she readies her Scythe, ready to rush in & cause some trouble like the little gremlin that she is.
Ruby: You got it, Prof.! Just watch me show those big oafs what I'm made of!
At the moment, Ruby's body starts to become a burst of scattering petals before she suddenly charged towards the gates of the town at blitzing speed. She catches the bandits completely off guard before she swings her Scythe only once before she suddenly stops from her tracks… & one of the dozens of bandits that were guarding the gates then feel a sudden barrage of powerful scythe slashes before they were sent away flying & are knocked out like it was nothing.
Ruby then regains her footing & turns around to shoot her friends a thumbs up, with the other girls having varied reactions. Byleth just nods at Ruby with a smile, proud of her doing a good job. Weiss just looks away while rolling her eyes, unamused from Ruby showing off & Yang just laughs it off from seeing Ruby take out some bandits with such ease & looking good while doing it.
Yang: Hahahahah! That's how you show them what's what, Little Sis! Give'em hell!
Weiss: *Groans* You people love showing off for no reason, do you?
Byleth: If you have time to moan, you have time to attack! Come on!
As the other 3 girls begin approaching the gates, ruby notices that the other bandits that were surrounding the games & some bandits inside of the town itself come & surround her, with one of the brigands in particular coming in front & pointing his axe at Ruby.
Brigand: Heheheh, what are you going to do now, girly?! You're completely surrounded!
Instead of feeling intimidated by this man's empty words, Ruby just starts chuckling all of the sudden, which throws the bandits off for a meme moment.
Brigand: What's so funny?! Are you so scared of dying that ya went insane?!
Ruby: Hah! Me, growing insane? Not a chance, big guy… *Smirks* You're the one who's insane here! Then again, you're probably too dumb to even get insane, amiright?
After throwing that quip, the bandit grows tired of her bullshit & charges at her alongside some of the other bandits surrounding Ruby.
Brigand: NOW YOU'RE GONNA GET IT!
Just before their attacks connect, Ruby disappears in a burst of petals with nowhere to be seen. As the bandits start looking around to look for her, they hear some footsteps slowly coming closer & louder by the second.
Brigand: Damnit all, where did she-?!
Before he could finish, the Sword of the Creator in its chain-whip form suddenly strikes him alongside a good chunk of the bandits that were surrounding Ruby. At that moment, Byleth arrived elegantly like a blooming flower as she swept her enemies with ease, but with the force of an incoming hurricane from how powerful her surprise attack was.
The ones who were fortunate enough to not get caught in Byleth's attack look at her in both shock & horror at the Ashen Demon's performance, all the while she stands before them & glaring at them with those cold, almost lifeless eyes of hers.
Rogue: H- How is that possible!? These 2 random chicks just took out dozens of our men like it was nothing, who the hell are they?!
Brigand: It doesn't matter who they are, we have to take them out! Show these women no mercy men, let's go!
The remaining bandits stepped up the courage to face Byleth & begin charging at her, Byleth just sighs at the bandit's stupidity before she begins casually jumping away & dodging any incoming attack that tries to land on her, as well as parrying any heavy axe wielders & take them out with powerful slashes of her own. Just as she expected, these bandits are nothing to her. Byleth could easily take them all out by herself if she really wanted to. Eventually, Ruby joins in to kick away one bandit who was about to attack Byleth from behind.
Ruby: I don't think so!
The large brigand that Ruby just kicked in the face is send flying as he slides through the ground at high speeds, eventually crashing in one of the destroyed houses. Ruby then lands right behind Byleth with her Scythe ready to go, she also notices how more & more bandits are coming & surrounding them. But instead of being worried, the 2 young women just chat casually with each other like nothing serious is even happening.
Ruby: There's so many bandits here, ya sure you can take them all on?
Byleth: Maybe, but I might get in trouble if a dozen or so more show up.
Ruby just smirks at that comment as she gets into her battle stance.
Ruby: In that case, I'll be the one who will cut them down!
Byleth: *Looks at Ruby* What? You're fighting too?
Ruby nods before the both of them go in opposite directions, beginning to fight the bandits singlehandedly. Parrying each axe swing & attacking the Brigands back, dodging whatever attack the Rogues try to strike on them & deflecting any bullets or arrows the marksmen may try to fire at them. Despite being greatly outnumbered, Ruby & Byleth make good work of the bandits & slowly but surely, lessen their numbers quite a bit.
As for Yang & Weiss, the latter is mostly on the back trying to fire many Dust Projectiles at the bandits while the former both protects the young Imperial Princess, as well as taking out any heavy hitters. Yang eventually jumps back to Weiss to reload her gauntlets.
Yang: Heh! Ya'know, you & I make quite the team!
Weiss: We probably would be doing better if you actually listened to me instead of attacking these brutes blindly like a wild animal!
Yang: Ah come on, Weiss! We're still doing some work out here, that's gonna account for- *Hears footsteps from behind* One second.
Yang turns to see 2 large brigands with broadswords trying to swing at her, only for Yang to catch both incoming swords with her Aura Infused hand with ease.
Yang: Hey jackasses, do you mind?! I was having a conversation over here!
That's when Yang tightens the hold of the swords so much that she literally breaks the swords into pieces with her hands enveloped with Aura. Weiss takes this moment of shock from the 2 brigands as an opportunity to fire more Dust Projectiles with her Glyphs, knocking them away. While Yang looks back at Weiss with a big grin on her face, Weiss is less then amused by her teammate's antics.
Weiss: I swear, you Valeans are truly reckless fools.
Weiss then spots a group of archers ready to fire their arrows at them, she simply smirks as she slides her fingers through her rapier's blade as a large blue Glyph is summoned below her. As the Glyph grow in size, a cold wind begins to surround Weiss, which makes Yang step away for a bit to avoid whatever attack Weiss is going to do… & The cold.
Weiss: Then again, perhaps that's why I've begun to grow fond of you.
The moment the archers fire their arrows, Weiss creates a massive ice wall once she thrusted Myrtenaster into the ground, taking the arrows like it's no problem. Then she stands back up, creates another Glyph with her fingers & throws her hand forward, which sends the giant wall of ice she just created straight towards the archers. They tried to turn around & run as fast as they could, but the ice wall just crashes on them & sends them towards a larger building that was at that direction, completely crushing them to the point of losing consciousness.
Yang's eyes widen in shock at the sight of seeing Weiss accomplish such a feat, she's never seen her do anything like this before. Weiss just turns around while brushing off her short bangs.
Weiss: Looks like all of that training paid off, huh?
Yang: Y- yeah…
Before they could continue their conversation, they see a dozen more bandits or so, mostly large brigands, coming their way. Yang & Weiss exchange a nod to one another before they charged straight ahead towards danger, ready to take on more bandits.
Cut to Team JNP's side that have started their charge on the back of the town's wall. where they're easily taking care of the much larger brigands that mostly wield 2 large weapons as opposed to one like the ones closer to the front gates. Unfortunately for the bandits, they're facing off against Pyrrha & Nora, who are easily the best students of the Garnet Papillons when it comes to sheer physical power. Jaune however is struggling to keep up, however. Even with his training with Pyrrha & the others (But mostly Pyrrha), he can just hold off the rogues & some of the smaller brigands. He does jump it to block any cheap attack the brigands try to land on Pyrrha & Nora with his shield, but he's still just trying to keep up with what's essentially 2 adult lionesses.
Jaune: *Panting heavily* Man, how are you guys not struggling with this many people?! There's so many of these guys around, yet you're all dealing with them like it's nothing!
Pyrrha: I've been fighting in these sorts of battles for almost my entire life, a group of bandits is nothing to me in the grand scheme of things.
Nora: & I just hit them hard enough, it's that simple.
Jaune: YEAH, BUT I'M NOT AN URSA MAJOR IN HUMAN FORM LIKE YOU GUYS ARE! Not everyone is as strong as you guys are…
Pyrrha chuckles before placing a comforting hand on Jaune's back.
Jaune: Come on, Jaune… It's not always about being the physically strongest one.
Nora: Hey now, save the hugs & kisses for later you 2! We got more heads to bash in & I don't want you guys to get all lovey-dovey right now, ya hear me?
The Arkos duo immediately freeze as they get the butterflies inside of them alongside a very burning feeling growing in their faces, feeling very flustered from Nora's words.
Pyrrha: N- Nora, come on! It's nothing like that!
Jaune: Y- Yeah, we're not together in that way!
Nora: *Anya Face* Not yet, sweethearts!
Brigand: Hey, I found them!
They all suddenly turn to see even more bandits from afar charging at their direction, all of them having their weapons ready to strike the 3 young kids down. Only problem, 2 of those kids are, as previously mentioned, Pyrrha & Nora… In fact, Nora gets a very crazy idea as she turns to Jaune for a moment.
Nora: Hey Jaune, could you give me a little boost?
Nora says that as she glances to Jaune's shield, he looks at it & quickly realizes what she means… & He loves it! Jaune looks back at Nora before shooting her a quick nod.
Jaune: You got it, just give me the signal!
Nora nods before she looks back at the approaching bandits. Once they've gathered around each other a little more & are in the exact distance she wants, Nora shoots a glance at Nora, giving him the signal to raise his shield, to which he does. Nora takes a small Electric Dust Crystal & absorbs its energy by crushing it with her hand before she jumps at Jaune's shield before quickly enhancing her legs with Aura, with Jaune doing the same as he starts to develop himself with some Aura to both give Nora a bigger jump boost… & To lessen whatever recoil damage he's about to get.
Jaune: Let'em have it!
With that, Nora jumps off from her position & is send flying towards the bandits, all the while Jaune is pushed away & falls to the ground. Thanks to his Aura, he doesn't get hurt to badly… The same cannot be said for the bandits that Nora's about to attack, though. She begins spinning her body around while holding a Lightning Dust Enhanced Magnhild, almost creating a small Electric Tornado of sorts…
An electric tornado that completely destroys the brigands with ease with a single swing of Nora's hammer & sends them flying like a freaking rocket, taking her teammates by complete surprise! They knew Nora was very strong, but this?!…Wow!... For all they know, she might be even stronger than Pyrrha in terms of physical strength alone & could even give Byleth some trouble… Maybe… Anywho, Nora just stands back up before laughing all of this off like she just had a nice ride at a rollercoaster or something.
Nora: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! I haven't had a workout like that in ages!
Jaune: *Sighs in disbelief* I swear Nora, you're not human…
Nora: "Not Human"?... Wait, does that make me a Faunus?
Jaune hangs his head at Nora's response while Pyrrha laughs nervously while waving her hands at Nora, with Pyrrha in particular approaching Nora.
Pyrrha: No, no, he meant that as a metaphor.
Nora: Ooooooh~… Okay! *Scratches her head* Wait, what's a metaphor?
Both Jaune & Pyrrha hang their heads while groaning at Nora's lack of education, even if she actually has a pretty good excuse for it. Nora just shrugs their attitude off as she turns around & motions them to come.
Nora: Now come on, we gotta clear this town out some more!
Jaune: Y- Yeah, we're coming…
They both regained their footing before they met up with Nora & begin running through the town, facing off with whatever bandits that came in their way. For a town that has a rather small number of citizens, this town is rather big, meaning that they have to cover a lot of ground. Back to Ruby's group, she cuts down another brigand before she looks at Byleth & speaks to her.
Ruby: Man, there's too many of them down here! We need a way to reach higher ground to get an advantage & for me to get the signal ready for Blake's group, but how?
As Byleth thinks about what Ruby just told her, she spots a rather tall tower.
Byleth: I think I just found a solution, look over there!
Ruby looks at the tower Byleth is pointing towards, she notices that it's heavily guarded by even larger brigands who wield 2 large weapons, similar to the ones Jaune's group are facing off at the moment. She smirks before looking back at Byleth.
Ruby: Thanks, Byleth. I'll take it from here… *Turns around* YANG, GET OVER HERE! LET'S DO OUR THING!
Right as she knocks out another rogue who tried to strike her from behind, Yang looks at Ruby from a distance. Despite their distance however, she heard her message loud & clear. She reloads her Gauntlets for a moment before launching herself towards Ruby with a huge grin on her face, feeling the burning excitement flowing through her body as she's about to do "The Thing" with Ruby.
Yang: Ya finally wanna bust that out, huh?! Fine by me, Lil' Sis!
Byleth: *Raises an eyebrow* Wait, what thing?
Byleth would get her answer as Yang positioned right behind Ruby, just as Ruby begins spinning around like a mini tornado of petals. Once she got just the right speed, Yang grabbed her Sister's legs before spinning around as well, all the while holding Ruby & spinning her around as well, becoming faster & faster the more they spin. Weiss would eventually come to see what the hell is going on, just as Byleth's expression grows more shocked & in disbelief.
Yang: LET'EM HAVE IT!
After spinning for long enough, Yang launches Ruby with so much force that she just blitzes towards the large brigands. They don't have enough time to react before Ruby begins ripping them apart with blinding speed.
Ruby: BLAST AWAY!
Ruby hits a brigand followed by another & then followed by another, almost as she was a homing pinball or something. In less than 5 seconds flat, she easily stuns all of the large brigands before going right behind the brigands & positioning herself just right as she calls out to Yang to help her finish them off.
Ruby: YANG!
Yang: I'M ON IT!
Yang positions herself before she launches herself towards the bandits with the recoil of her gauntlets, just as Ruby does the same with her Crescent Rose. At blitzing speeds, they both pass through the bandits with a single attack & utterly demolish the brigands in a single combined attack.
Ruby & Yang: STRAWBERRY… SUNRISE!
All of the brigands are immediately knocked out thanks to Yang's immense strength & Ruby's incredible speed & mobility, everyone who was there to witness the spectacle occur had their jaws drop. As the 2 sisters go to high five one another, Wave looks from afar to see how her fellow bandits are being easily defeated by the Garnet Papillons.
[Music End]
She has her arms crossed, gripping tightly on her forearms as she grits her teeth in slight frustration, feeling her insides beginning to burn as said frustration grows stronger. She knew that these kids would actually be rather competent, but she didn't expect things to go this bad. She begins thinking of a possible way to turn things around while she still has a chance.
Wave: Damn, looks like I'll have to use that weapon…
Wave takes a look at her bow for a moment, thinking if she should really use whatever weapon she just brought up. While it's rather quick from the perspective of everyone else, it felt like many quiet minutes had passed to Wave as she thinks about it… Eventually, she makes her choice as she calls over one of the rogues guarding her doorstep.
Wave: You over there, get the Ballista ready.
The rogue is taken aback by such demand, stepping back a bit before replying to Wave.
Rogue: Wh- what?! But Lady Wave, that weapon is just a prototype! We don't know if it will work as intended or not!
Wave turns around & starts walking towards the Rogue at the doorstep, her footsteps having that air of power & authority that demands fear, but also the elegancy of a woman that demands respect.
Wave: If we all fall here, then that Masked Freak will just kill us anyways! It'll only take a couple of more minutes before those brats come here, fight us & take the stone!... *Shakes her head* Yesterday, we learned the possible location of the stone. I'm going to head down there & blow away a way open myself. In the meantime, go get the ballista ready… If we're going down, we're taking them with us. Can you do that?
The rogue in question looks down in doubt before looking back at Wave, he gives her a nod & decides to trust her judgement.
Rogue: Y-… Yes, I can Lady Wave… I'll get it done right away!
The both of them leave the Chieftain's room & begin heading out to their respective destinations, Wave begins heading downstairs to where the Stone is supposed to be & the Rogue begins heading upstairs. We see the rogue arrive at the top of the manor, which is a huge attic with what it looks to have a ceiling that can be opened, but he does not focus on that detail in particular, but rather the large object in front of him that's covered up in a huge blanket. He takes a deep breath before grabbing a tight hold on the blanket & pulling it away to reveal the Ballista.
Cut to Blake's group who are watching from higher ground & waiting for their signal, Hunter in particular looks like he's seeing an army of ghosts. He cannot believe this is real, these mere children are not only fighting off this large group of bandits, but they're taking them out with such ease & they don't even look like they're getting tired of it.
Hunter: H-… How is that possible?! How can those kids be so-… So strong?! What kind of training & upbringing did they have to get this powerful?!
Blake: It's like I told you, Bow Boy. Those kids are far more than meets the eye, they're not just some brats from the city that suddenly got strong out of nowhere.
Hunter: Even so… It shouldn't be possible, that girl with the scythe especially… She's just toying with them & yet-…
As Hunter is having a mid-life crisis, Ren chimes in & gives Hunter some insight himself.
Ren: That's because she's fighting people, not monsters.
Hunter looks at Ren with a confused look on his face before he continued speaking.
Ren: Ruby's fighting style was mainly designed to fight & kill the Grimm; she doesn't like to show what she can really do against other people. So instead, she fights using her Semblance, Aura attacks & whatever unpredictable strategy she can come up with… If the circumstances were different, she would've turned this town into a bloodbath.
While Hunter is in both shock at this revelation, while also feeling a hint of sadness from Ren's words, Blake shoots the young ninja a small smirk.
Blake: You can see it too, huh? What's next, you're going to write an essay about her?
As Ren was about to turn to Blake & answer her joke-question, he takes notice of the rooftop of the manor suddenly opening. Hunter notices that as well & doesn't get what's going on, yet he can feel a very heavy feeling inside of him telling something's wrong.
Ren: Hey, Hunter? Could your manor's rooftop always open like that?
Hunter: Y- Yeah… My sister & I like to watch the stars from there at night, why do you-?!
Hunter immediately stops talking when he takes a look on whatever's coming out of the rooftop, which takes attention from everyone else on the battlefield for a moment.
It was what it looks to be a giant crossbow of sorts, one that's pointed up to the sky. The weapon itself looks like it's made of some very durable wood & some iron. it has a long magazine, not unlike those you usually see in rapid-fire firearms like miniguns or machine guns, only with the top part of it being removed & instead of being large rounds of bullets, it's cannonballs… Dust Cannonballs to be more specific. This is the prototype weapon Wave talked about earlier: [The Dust Ballista!]
While the Garnet Papillons are confused to see what the hell is going on, Hunter looks absolutely horrified. Blake & Ren look at him in worry & ask what's wrong.
Hunter: Th- that's the-… Oh no!...
Ren: Hunter, what's the matter?! What is that thing?!
Hunter hangs is head in utter disbelief, not knowing what they can do now. But despite his current situation, he's still able to somewhat able to answer Ren's question.
Hunter: That-… That's a prototype Dust Ballista.
Blake & Ren: A WHAT?!
Hunter slams his fist at the tree on his left in anger, feeling a burning feeling of rage & a feeling of stupidity for not taking this to account.
Hunter: DAMNIT ALL! I didn't take that weapon into consideration! I thought they wouldn't have known how to finish building it, let alone using it! I'm such an idiot!
Before anymore words could've been said, the rogue places the first cannonball at the ballista's string & pulls it back until it's locked. He takes aim at the gates of the town itself, with no intention on hitting any of our heroes just yet… No, this will be a warning shot of sorts for the heroes. He takes a tight hold of the lever… & pulls it down.
-POW!-
The cannonball is fired, hitting the gates of the town & destroying it completely, the explosion itself is enough to push Byleth's group away & get sent flying, crashing in some buildings, while everyone else put an arm or 2 to shield their eyes from the sudden attack. When the smoke clears, they all see the damage the cannonball has caused, it left a big circular hole at where it was fired, said hole having fire being spread out. They're all in utter shock by the fact that the bandits had this weapon at their disposal this whole time, with Hunter having the most frightened expression of all, he can't even find the right words to say right now.
Just as the Garnet Papillons have made quick work of most of the bandits that were in the town itself, they reveal a prototype weapon & show our heroes that they won't go down as easily as they initially believed. But will this be enough to turn things around? Will the Garnet Papillons find a way to stop that ballista before it fires more powerful shots? Will our heroes prevail against Wave, who's already at the gates where the stone is supposed to be locked behind? Will Byleth be forced to actually take things more seriously & perhaps use more of her magic, possibly blowing away her cover? Find out all & more next time on RWBY: The Verdant Light of Remnant!
RWBY: The Verdant Light of Remnant - Chapter 21: Let the Battle Begin! - End.
Author's Notes: Wow, this took alot longer than it needed. The bit where the attack actually STARTS took me WEEKS to find one that i was satisfied with since i had to rewrite it no less than THREE TIMES! As stated earlier, i originally wanted to have the entire battle here in this one chapter. But for the sake of myself for not making me stressed any further by thinking & struggling on what to do & to make sure you guys don't want any longer, i had to stop here... Then again, i DO like how this chapter ended.
Now i know some of you will have problems about how easily The Garnet Papillons are dealing with the bandits, you have to consider a few things. One: there were way too many people to work with, so i had to make most of these bandits so that i can both present how powerful & skilled the heroes are & to show that big numbers aren't everything. It's the classic Musou Game/Dynasty Warriors rule (Which i'll continue using for big army battles like this throughout the series, similar to how One Piece does it) where an army of soldiers is fighting against just a few very strong fighters... The latter side will win 9-10 because they value QUALITY over QUANTITY. Of course there's going to be some very strong members in said army (like how in Baroque Works, most of the men are normal foot soldiers, yet there's a few very strong people at the top alongside the leader, like Mr. 1 & 2 for example.), but because i'm mostly experimenting here, the only strong members at the moment here will be Wave & some of the stronger bandits inside of the manor itself, but MOSTLY Wave. We're not going to have something like The Strawhats VS The Arlong Pirates or the high ranking members of Baroque Works anytime soon.
Speaking of Musou games, Fire Emblem Three Houses Warriors released a few days ago & it SUCKS that i can't get it just yet... Goddamnit Brazil, why do you suck so much when money's involved?... But from what i've heard from friends, it's REALLY good & i'm super excited... For those who will ask if i'm gonna implement any story elements from Three Hopes here in MY story?... I'll DEFINITELY think about it, cause i DO wanna try something with it.
One last note before i go, next month is the 1 year anniversary of this story, so i wanna try to get the next chapter done by then & also have a possible co-writer or partner here to help me write this story cause as i've said MANY times... Writing this story all by myself can be a SHORE & it's clear that i'm not very skilled at writing, i'm mostly self-taught. Anyway, that's all i have for you folks today. This has been Remnant Bardock & until our next meeting, have a WONDERFUL day, my friends!
