Huh what's that you want me to stop stalling and get into the story already.
Greetings everybody and welcome to the ending of phase two of After The Florpus. It's been a great run if I were to give an opinion on the matter.
It means that everything that's been built up is coming to a head here. Before we get started let's go over what's happened with a quick recap.
The Irken Armada more specifically it's invaders are being targeted by Deiol a man driven by the loss of his mother. He in turn wants's them to..die and that's the short version of this.
Giving how they are responsible for his mother dying in a fire. The main culprit ended up being Invader Skutch who when we last saw was laughing hysterically as the planet he was given had fire around it.
This event scarred Deiol in more ways than one. Physically and mentally he was an absolute wreck. Like any normal person he wanted justice for what had happened.
After what felt like an eternity he alongside his Dad found Skutch and beat him within an inch of his life. Despite them thinking that they had killed him they were wrong.
Skutch wasn't dead from their attack but was in such bad shape he was in a coma. Once they were finished with him they had moved on to kill three other invaders.
All with the backing of Qaif, Liera and his band of misfits. Yebot as well as an unknown blob headed creature who had saved Yebot after he was sent to Irk.
Deiol's Dad though was not a fan of the company that his son was surrounding himself with. This was made more obvious when they had the Meekrob known as Malid join their cause.
Despite his warnings Deiol continued on with this crusade not knowing or caring about what would end up happening. There was one obstacle standing in their way throughout this crusade.
More like five but you get what I am trying to say. Zim, Skoodge, Larb, Grapa and Tenn had survived the worst that they had to offer or so they hoped.
Here they stand after everything that's happened soon will have to work together to stop the threat on their life's. Not only that but every other invader still remains at risk.
Today was the day that Deiol would answer for organizing a mass killing of irkens. Trauma or not the invaders wouldn't show any pity to Deiol for what's he's tried to do to them.
Deiol on the other hand knows this and almost welcomes it in a way. Weirdo he is if you ask me but hey I am not allowed to play favorites here as it wouldn't be fair.
Let us see exactly how this crusade ends and if any more suffering will follow. As always I hope you enjoy and without further interruption let's get started with the finale of Phase Two.
We start on Earth as both Zim and Skoodge return from the school. Both were in their disguises as they enter Zim's Base. After they return to looking like an irken they see Gir being himself.
He was sitting on the couch watching the most cringe filled show you can possibly imagine. Like worse than me if such a thing is even possible.
Gir wasn't alone as next to him was that if I am being honest unsettling little creature known as Minimoose. How is it unsettling..don't know something seems off about it to me.
Granite I'd be unsettled by anything in that base. Whether it be Zim, Gir, Minimoose or those quirky Robo Parents that he has. Skoodge is actually the least scary thing in that base.
"Hey your back. Gir says as turns his attention to both Zim and Skoodge. Minimoose does that sound that basically translates to..nyeah? Look I am not a miracle worker ok give me a break.
"Yes Gir we are. "Not a moment to soon either. "We were about send that sos call to all the other invaders. "If what Yebot said was true than we have a major situation.
"A situation that needs to be delt with before it gets out of hand. "Luckily for us I know of a way for us to deal with this annoyance before it get's out of hand.
"Also Minimoose I thought I asked you to fiddle with the robot parents while I delt with everything that was going on. "Nyeah. "Complications like what?
"Nyeah. "Of course they are going to make it difficult. "Either way it needs to be done. "Nyeah. Minimoose says as it flies it's way across the room and enters a hidden room inside the wall.
"Huh you never told me about that. Skoodge says looking confused as Minimoose flies by them. "I thought I did. "We're you not listening when I told you about him?
"To be honest you told me a lot of things that flew by me. "We did spend an entire day going over everything that I needed to know about what you've done here.
"Guess that was one of the things I had forgotten. "I'll explain it again later then. "Can't wait. "In the meantime we need to send that message before anything bad happens.
"Like what? "Them finding us. "Or worse killing us. "Neither of which will end up happening but we should still be careful. Zim says in a calm tone not seeming bothered by what's happening.
"Ooh. "What is it Gir? "What? "You had said something. "My bad I was reacting to this show. "It's really funny. "I doubt it. "No this show's different.
It's about this one girl who does all sorts of cool stuff. Skoodge takes a look at the TV and reads a caption that showed up. "Gojo Liwa marathon all day today keep watching or you'll make poor Gojo upset.
"Stick around for the next episode where Gojo travels around town in a car..with her face on it. The voice on the TV says in an overly energetic voice as it goes to a commercial.
"Do I even ask? "No we should get going before you get him started. Both invaders walk past Gir leaving him to the show that he was watching. They then go and head into the toilet elevator.
What a sentence I said right there. After awhile they make it to the irken part of Zim's Base and begin heading over to Zim's Computer. Here they relay their message to the other invaders.
Or at least whoever would answer the call that they send. Neither of them are the most respected or liked irken in The Armada. Some of that is due to The Tallest but that's a whole story in itself.
A story that I could go in detail about but then we'd be here all day going over information that you already know. We wouldn't want to that would we?
"Computer. "Yes what is it this time. "I need you to send an sos message to any and all available invaders. "You sure that'll work? "Of course it will.
"Besides who else will warn them about what's happening? "Zim's got a point if we don't tell them than how else will they know? "What if they already know?
"Unless they questioned one of the other people sent after us then I doubt that's the case. "Though computer I will humor your guess as a possible outcome to anybody who answers.
"Yay I am..eternally grateful. "Good..send the message. "Sending sos message to all available invaders. After waiting for what seemed like forever they finally got an answer.
"Three incoming calls are being sent forward. "Hm that was fast. "Computer answer the calls. "All at once or separately? "All at once. "Ok sending them through.
"Hopefully they'll lend us a hand. "Don't worry they have to. "We're all dealing with the same enemy. "Doesn't mean they will want to work with us Zim.
"We aren't exactly popular back home. "You might not be but The Tallest adore me. "They sent me here cause they couldn't trust anybody else.
"That and we're great friends. "Yeah sure. "Don't believe me we can always ask The Tallest themselves. "No that's fine. Skoodge was scared at what The Tallest would do if they had saw him alive Zim of all irkens.
Zim's Computer brings up the calls on screen and the first one to connect is Larb. Tenn connected second leaving Grapa to connect last.
"Greetings fellow invaders. "I see that you got the message. "Zim? All three invaders says with confusion. "Yes it is I. "Good to see you remember me.
"How could we not? Larb says rolling his eyes at what Zim had said. "Didn't think you'd be the one who sent this message. "Yes it was indeed me.
"Yeah I don't about you guys but I don't how to feel about this. Tenn says feeling conflicted about Zim being here. "It's not all bad he's got Skoodge with him.
Grapa says trying to shed some positivity on the situation. "Hey Skoodge what's up. "Nothing much currently trying to fix an issue that sorta affects us all.
"Nevermind these formalities your speaking. Zim interrupts Grapa by cutting his conversation with Skoodge short..no pun intended. "I see you got the message.
"Yes we did hopefully it's for what I think it is. Larb says hoping that this call wasn't for something stupid. Despite him not expecting much he still had hope that this was something of a priority.
"I assure you it's exactly what you think. "Good that means that the one responsible can be stopped. Tenn says in a irritated manner while looking around her.
"Yeah you can count me in on what they said to. Grapa chimes in with a not so serious answer to what Zim said. "Good that means you all know of the people being sent to kill us.
"Yes in fact I'd say we can all know all to well. "Though I can't speak for Larb and Tenn. "Don't worry your not wrong. Tenn says still looking around the room she was in.
She was getting used to not being held captive and being chased by malfunctioning robots. "You ok? Larb asks Tenn curiously as she keeps looking paranoid.
"Yes it's me not being used to being free. "Enough of useless chitter chatter. "We need to figure out who is trying to kill us. "That being said do any of you have a name?
"No. "Nope "Sorry got nothing. "Great this is exactly what we needed. "We don't have a name or a location. "Couldn't we lure them out? Grapa asks hoping to find the solution to the issue at hand.
"Me and Zim already did that to deal with the person that was sent after us. "I do find it interesting how whoever wants us dead sent people to do it for them.
Larb said standing up before asking Tenn a question about this situation. "Tenn you have any ideas? "No but I did experience something on Meekrob that could be useful.
"What is it? "I had been tortured by a meekrob who tried to kill me with Mkd energy. "Isn't that stuff like dangerous and kept hidden on irken property?
"Yes which caught me off guard when he used it on me. "That's something I honestly didn't expect to hear today. "Yep and Mkd energy hurts more than you could ever imagine.
Grapa looked dumbfounded as he responded to what Tenn said. "What's next they use nanites or something? "No but I had survived due to my pak.
"Though I did have some kind of hallucination and in it I think I saw the one behind this. "He was with his Dad. "Talking about how the Meekrob should have killed me.
"I fail to see how a mere hallucination showed you a conversation you were never apart of. "That's not how that works. "Believe me Zim has experience with hallucinations.
"How many did you experience? Tenn responds with a little hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Tons of them and everybody I had go through them never went on about that.
"Yeah well I am being serious it was some serious stuff I saw. "Stuff that I don't feel comfortable talking about. Tenn says referring to the part where she was brutally killed by the malfunctioning bots.
"What did this figure look like? Larb was hoping that Tenn remembered what she saw on that day. "He had some dark black mask on that had some tubes connected to it.
"They looked like it was going into his neck. "No offense Tenn but we're going to need more than that. Grapa begins pressuring Tenn into giving more info while twiddling with his thumbs.
"Sorry it was a hallucination my brain isn't used to processing that. "Try your best. "If I remember correctly he had a light grey long sleeve on.
"The rest of what he is wearing is all black. "Literally. "Alright then everybody get that? Grapa says hoping to learn if anybody paid attention to what Tenn had said.
"I did. Zim responds to Grapa as he reenters the conversation. "Good any other ideas beyond that? "Allow me. "COMPUTER! Zim shouts as he catches everybody in the call off guard.
"What? "You do realize you don't have to shout. Zim's Computer annoyingly says as he responds to his master's command. "How else will I get your attention?
"Speaking normally would be a start. "Nevermind that computer I need you to do some searching. "Let me guess you want me to take that information and see what I can find.
"No I want to pinpoint the location of the one responsible for this by doing some research. "That's literally what I said. "We don't have time for arguing computer.
"OBEY ME and search for the fool responsible for this. "Fine. After a few minutes of searching Zim's Computer gets the results they've been wanting.
"Alright I've found a couple of results that match the description. "Great work computer. "Do tell us what you found. "One possible match is a resident spelunker from the planet Conventia.
"Hm it also says here that he has a mugshot where he wears an outfit similar to the one described by Invader Tenn. "Anything else about him you can find?
"He isn't wearing that mask though. "Hate to say it Zim but that's not our guy. Grapa chimed in sounding disappointed at the description given. "I also have somebody by the name Deiol.
"He's an exact match on every point. "The mask is for medical purposes. A fire was caused at his home by Invader Skutch when he had conquered his planet.
"It had killed his mother leaving him and his dad. "Sounds like we have who we need. Larb says seeming pleased with the results that Zim's Computer gave.
"Your appreciation is noted. "Uh Zim I was talking to your computer. Larb responded to Zim's comment after he tried taking credit for what his computer did.
"Hm what do you mean? "Nevermind. Larb says holding his head with annoyance. "We should try and pinpoint where he and his dad is at. Tenn adds in trying to loosen the mood in the call.
"Oh that their currently hiding on Xalba. "I was waiting on one of you to ask me that. "This is perfect. "All that remains is to head there and destroy him and his dad.
"Yes that will teach him that nobody get's one over on the mighty irken race. "NOBODY! "Who exactly are you talking to? Larb questioned Zim as he was curious at him seemingly talking to himself.
"Was I not speaking to you? "No it sounded like you were talking to yourself. "It doesn't matter if I was or not. "No what matters is we all meet up at Xalba to end this once and for all.
"Uh Zim how are we going there? "Your ship is fast but it'll still take us forever to get there. "Fear not Skoodge for I have something that'll bring us there in mere seconds.
Zim says as he grabs two square shaped tools from a table and brings them back over to Skoodge. "What's that? "Pocket teleporters courtesy of Leiok and his clan.
"You know I'd say that it's shocking that you have that. "Though knowing what we know it actually makes sense. Tenn says while giving a sort of half facepalm.
"Believe me it's quite a long story of how I got them. "That I also don't doubt. "Good that means everything is set. "We'll meet up at the center commercial area.
"Here we'll go over how we're going to deal with Deiol. "Preferably take him alive that way we get some answers for what's he done or hopes to have had done to us.
Larb was the first to respond after Tenn's statement giving a location for everybody to meet up. "Yes what he said let us meet at this commercial area place.
"We shall see you all there soon. Zim says as the call is ended. "That it? Skoodge abruptly asks as Zim starts tinkering with the pocket teleporters.
"Yes soon this Deiol will face pain unlike any he's faced before. "Hopefully in his eyes it was worth it. "GIR! Zim shouts before we see Gir enter through the elevator to greet his master.
"GIR you and Minimoose are to watch the base while we deal with Deiol. "Ok. "I am being serious Gir. "Don't do anything stupid. "Moreover make sure Dib doesn't try anything.
"What if he does? "Then make sure he leaves. "I'd ask you to destroy him but that seems like something your incapable of. "That being said make sure he doesn't snoop around the base.
"And especially make sure that our latest hope of conquering this planet is touched in any capacity. "Not when it's almost ready to be used. "Ok.
"Do you remember what I said? "Yes. "What was it? "Make sure nobody is seen snooping around the base. GIR says as he switches to duty mode before quickly switching back to his normal self.
Yes I mentioned normal and Gir in the same sentence. Don't worry I am fully aware of the mistake I made with what I said seeing how Gir is the exact opposite of normal.
"That's good to hear Gir. "Zim have you considered what to do if that gauntlet doesn't work? "Of course I did. "As a matter of a fact it's being held in the science bay.
"You mean the human you abducted? "That's such a strong word Skoodge. "I prefer being taken captive against his will. "Isn't that the same thing though?
"No in fact it's entirely different than what you claim it is. "Besides he isn't ready to be used in a meaningful way yet. Zim says in a cheerful tone ignoring Skoodge's argument.
"Ready to be used? "Yes believe it or not being discovered by that human was a blessing in disguise for me at least. "If the gauntlet fails WHICH IT WON'T!
"I'll resort to using him as a backup. "Uh ok. "Good let's get going. "The others are awaiting our arrival. Zim says as he and Skoodge both use the pocket teleporters to transport themselves to Xalba.
Here they would meet up with the other invaders and begin searching for Deiol and bring an end to his crusade. It would be there where business would pick up as they say.
What's that you've never heard anybody say that before? Ok how about this pretend for this stories sake you've heard of that phrase before ok.
Don't make me look like the crazy person. Hm who am I kidding half of what you know me as here is crazy so no point in trying to hide it am I right?
Meanwhile Zim apparently already thought of a backup idea for if his mind control gauntlet idea fails. Whether either manages to work will remain a mystery for the time being.
It had been awhile but they all managed to reach Xalba and all that remained was meeting up together. As for the planet Xalba it was as much a gated community as one could get.
Xalba was well known by a large part of the universe as a planet filled with paranoid people. How paranoid could they get you might be asking yourself or me in this case.
They figured having everybody..including children require a verification badge to enter ninety five percent of the planet. Seems like a good idea on paper you might think.
You'd be sorta right if making a fake verification badge wasn't super easy. The people from the other five percent of the planet got real bored and decided to get creative.
Also they aren't a fan of the whole locking nearly the entire planet behind a key card. You lost one then you'd have to go through a long monotonous corporate process to get a new one.
The badge you needed is basically a master key card that everybody could use. They had to program it to only work for the person whose name and face is on the card.
The planet is like this to try and lower theft and other crimes. As well as to keep everybody safe from potential issues including but not limited to an irken trying to conquer it.
Honestly it all seems a little obsessive to do such a thing. They have like zero confidence in their soldiers if they resort to doing this. Makes sense seeing how they would be slaughtered if The Irken Armada really wanted them gone.
Thier soldiers were basically the same as cops who knew what to do and how to do it but always want to make it easier for everybody. That paranoia kicks in it really hits for them.
We transition to the middle of what seemed like a marketplace where their were vendors everywhere. Hoping to share in their words the next big product to change their way of life.
It's here where we see Zim and Skoodge walking around looking for the other invaders. "They should be around here somewhere. "We all agreed to meet up here.
"They might be somewhere we haven't checked yet. "We have checked everywhere and yet still no trace of any of them. "We need to keep looking then Zim.
"I had no intention on stopping if that's what your saying. "No it was merely me saying we should look in every nook and cranny of this marketplace.
"Ok but do you know how long that'll take? "I know which is what makes me wonder if Deiol had found them first. "Let's hope that isn't the case.
Both Zim and Skoodge walk past a table before hearing somebody calling them over. "Psst hey Zim..Skoodge over here. When they turn and look to see Invader Tenn staring back with a cloak over her head.
Upon further observation we see Larb and Grapa sitting at this table with cloaks over their heads to. "You really should be covering your faces.
"The soldiers here are of no threat to us. "They can barely turn the safety off their weapons. Zim says responding Tenn's statement with a mini rant of his own.
"Yes that is true but we found that Deiol's basically turned the soldiers here to his side. "Long story short he coerced his way into having them take orders from him.
"Wait how did he do that? Skoodge looking dumbfounded as he responds to what was said. Larb was the one to answer the question as he adjusts the cloak he was wearing.
"He probably gave the same sob story that we already know. "When that failed he more than likely used himself and his cronies to threaten them.
"Yep that would sound about right. Grapa chimes in while hiding behind a newspaper. "Don't worry we grabbed two cloaks for you in the slight chance you didn't have any.
"Hopefully it'll works for you two like it has for us. "Yeah couldn't agree with you more. Skoodge said agreeing with Grapa's hope for the cloaks.
Grapa then hands Zim and Skoodge a black half coat to wrap around their heads. A figure is then seen walking up to them and it was a waiter. "Greetings can I get you folks anything?
"We have a bunch of starters including the soup of the day. The Waiter says in a cheerful tone showing that he enjoys his job as a waiter. Not everyday somebody actually enjoys their job.
"No thanks. "We'll be leaving in a couple minutes anyways. Larb responds to The Waiter while avoiding direct eye contact with him. "Ok but don't stay to long we have a business to run.
"My manager would yell at me if my quota isn't met for this week. "Don't worry we'll leave once we're done talking. "Preferably in private. "Right my bad where are my manners.
The Waiter leaves allowing the invaders to speak to themselves. "Have you found where this coward is hiding yet? "I wish we could say yes Zim.
"We looked around and found nothing. "He's done a great job at keeping himself hidden. "Is there anything that you can tell us? Skoodge asks Larb as he adjusts his cloak slightly.
"Only lead that we have is some apartment complex. "We have reasons to believe that he used the soldiers to threaten the staff there to letting him do whatever he wants.
Larb gives his opinion on where Deiol and his Dad are hiding. "Only issue we can't confirm that. "He's right we were waiting for you and Skoodge that way we could head over there.
"Then let's head over there before he finds out we're here. "We aren't going to be able to walk through the front door. "Larb and Grapa told me that Deiol's had guards patrol the front entrance.
"Scanning anybody and everybody that tries to enter the building. "Ugh perhaps he is smarter than I gave him credit for. "It's not all bad I managed to find a hole in this strategy.
"We can sneak in through the maintenance tunnel. "This will lead us to the elevators which in turn can lead us to Deiol. "Then we haven't a moment to soon.
"Let us show him what happens when you mess WITH THE MIGHT IRKEN RACE! Zim abruptly shouts as everybody looks around wondering who had shouted that.
"Yeah can you please never do that again. "We don't want them to know where we are. Grapa looked at Zim after what he said not knowing the reason he did what he did.
"Grapa is right we must hurry before he tries to escape. "Uh Zim I didn't say that. "We don't have time let us hurry. Zim says before he starts walking away from the table.
"He does realize we never said where the building was right? Tenn stared in confusion as Zim kept heading off on his own. "Yeah we should catch up to him before he gets us killed.
Larb says as he and Tenn start moving to try and catch up to Zim. "This is some situation we got ourselves here ain't it Skoodge? "Yes it indeed is.
"Hopefully we can bring an end to it. "Yep that's the goal, let's hope we can do it. Grapa said as he begins to walk off to reach the others. "Thank you for business.
We hear The Waiter from earlier say as Skoodge starts to leave as well. "Uh yeah your welcome. "Have a nice trip. "We look forward to seeing you again.
"We might take you up on that offer. "Don't worry we'll see each other again. "That I promise you. "Ok look I have to get going. "See you later.
Skoodge says as he runs off to try and catch up with the other invaders. The Waiter continues smiling as Skoodge runs off as a holographic effect starts showing.
It's then revealed that The Waiter was none other than Liera. He was disguised as the waiter that more than likely either didn't work there or was dead.
Liera grabs a comms tool from his pocket then begins talking to it. "Deiol your never going to believe who I was talking to. "Our invader friends are here and are heading to the building as we speak.
"Good make your way back here. "That way we can end this. "And Liera this time do better than you did last time. "I'd love to see you get blindsided by a walking muscular tank.
"I'd love to see you get your face scarred in a house fire. "Touche. "That never fails to win arguments for you. "Quit wasting time and get over here.
"Don't worry I am ony way. "Good. "Remember that we outnumber them. "We also have more knowledge of this place than they do. "That will be what'll lead them to their demise.
"Gotcha. "Welp I better be on my way. "See you and everybody else soon. "I look forward to it. Deiol says as the call disconnects leaving Liera to begin heading off to the building they were hiding in.
The customers at the diner stared in confusion as Liera walked away. All of them began staring at each other wondering if they were real to. Like I said paranoia is strong with these people.
Granite Liera randomly revealing himself as a waiter to everybody is bound to make people paranoid. I'd be shocked if they didn't get paranoid after seeing that.
As for the invaders they were closer to bringing an end to this once and for all. Only thing that stood in their way was a bunch of armed guards who were coerced into doing Deiol's bidding.
They were hoping that they would be able to stop this. Win lose or draw it wasn't going to be easy for either side to get one over on the other and win. Let's see where exactly it goes.
The invaders had made it to the apartment complex where Deiol and the others were hiding. It was a large building that almost resembled a skyscraper.
We see them all staring at the building from a distance all trying to get a better look at the place. "There it is. "Deiol's hiding in there only question is where?
Zim says as he surveys the area like everybody else. "You said we should go in the maintenance tunnel. "Where is it? "It's not to far ahead we have to keep going til we reach the ocean.
"Right but how exactly do you remember where it is? "I used to know an irken who used that tunnel as a way of hiding from the authorities here.
"It worked but eventually he was arrested. "On the bright side he knew a way past all the locks here. "One that didn't involve hacking it like he had to.
"Good thing Larb knows how to hack. "Yes seeing as it isn't you or Grapa's strong suit. "Also before I forget Skoodge. "Yes Larb. "I recently had a talk with General Likoa.
"Oh you did uh how is he? "I heard he nearly died. "Yes he did. "I had ran into him awhile after that. "He told me everything that happened. "Care to explain?
Skoodge basically knew as soon as Larb said Likoa he wasn't going to like what was said after. He didn't know what to say as he was at a loss for words.
Eventually he manages to think of an answer to try and settle Larb's curiosity. "Whatever he said isn't true that I know for sure. "He's always had it out for me for some strange reason.
"If I had to guess I'd say his pak is malfunctioning of something. "Or perhaps he secretly wanted to be an invader himself and wanted me dead to try and get my rank.
"This seems to be the case seeing how he's making up lies to make killing me seem justified. "I promise you none of what he said is true. Skoodge says as he felt blood run cold as he waited for Larb to respond back.
"Ok I'll take your word for it for the time being. "Once this is over we'll have to go see what he thinks. "Uh but I am currently lending Zim a hand with his mission.
"Sure but sooner rather than later we'll have to talk to him. "Yeah sure that'll work. "Alright we're here. Tenn says as they finally made it to the maintenance tunnel.
"This is it? Grapa says staring at what was a heavily barred up entrance to the tunnel. "Yes but it looks like they got compulsive with securing it.
"Hm five layers of solid steel bars each with four of these bars for each layer. "Yep sounds compulsive to me. "Good analysis Grapa but we should get them removed.
"I agree. "Only question is how are we going to open it without anybody knowing. Tenn asks as she stares at the bars questioning the design choice of this tunnel.
"Zim should be the one to do it. "You know seeing how he's the expert at destroying stuff in mass. Grapa says as he stares at Zim who responds accordingly to what Grapa had said.
"It's good to see that my skill is needed. "Yes I shall open these doors and we shall then be on our way. "Uh those are bars. "This is no time for debates stand back and let Zim open up the path.
As soon as everybody backed up and watched as Zim shot a laser from all four pak legs. This absolutely destroyed the bars hiding them from entering the building.
Only bad thing is it also did something else and that was the lasers bounced off a pipe and ricocheted into the building. It entered through the ceiling and set the buildings alarm system off.
"Eh..see I did it. "We can get through. "Yeah but you also let everybody in that building know we're here. "You worry to much Larb. "I am a genius and geniuses don't make such mistakes.
"Alright then what do call the security alarm going off. "A minor setback besides even if they do know we're here they don't know where. "There's also the chance that they don't know who did it.
"I get what you mean but that odds of that are pretty slim. "To you it's slim. "As for me I say we get going before they DO REALIZE we're here. "For once Zim is right.
Tenn says they all start to head into the maintenance tunnel. Once they entered they heard shouting from outside the tunnel. "So much for them not knowing we're here Zim.
"Relax they still don't know who's responsible. "The invaders are here. "Find them and cuff them. A voice outside is heard saying as they get closer to the tunnel.
"Ok but they still don't know where we are. "Let's go before they do. Grapa says in a slight panic as they keep heading farther into the tunnel. They also have to avoid the soldiers chasing after them.
"We can use this ladder to get inside. "How do you know that? "It says right here. Skoodge responds to Grapa's concern by pointing as a note left by somebody.
"Leaving this note here to remind everybody that this leads to the second floor lounge area. "Huh that's handy. Grapa seemingly is calmer after reading the note that Skoodge pointed out.
"Quickly before they notice we're here. Zim chimed in with before running up to climb the ladder first. "Subtly doesn't exist with him does it? "Guess not.
"How do you put up with him Skoodge? "It's quite easy actually. "I don't see how. "You learn to get used to it. Skoodge answers Larb's question while heading over to the ladder.
Tenn and Grapa already went up leaving Larb to be the last one to start climbing. Eventually they all climbed high enough to be out of sight from the soldiers.
Who made it to where they had left and found nothing. "Ten ten we haven't found anything. "We'll search the tunnel and report back with what we find.
The Soldier says before him and the rest of soldiers start heading farther into the tunnel. Meanwhile the people they were looking for were climbing their way into building.
What they'll do from there is unknown but whatever it is it ends with them finding Deiol. Then most likely will try killing him as he had tried doing this entire time.
After climbing for about five minutes they end up making it to a small door in the floor that Zim opens up. Seeing how he was the first one to start climbing.
The bad part of that being Zim didn't wait on his fellow invaders to start searching for Deiol. Tenn and Grapa look around hallway not knowing where Zim went.
"He does know we're not with him right? Tenn said scratching her head in confusion as Zim left to start searching. "I hope he does. "Otherwise this'll get bad real fast.
Skoodge makes it to the top followed by Larb not to long after. "Where'd Zim go? Skoodge asks curiously as he looks around the small room they were in.
"No clue me and Tenn were talking about that. "This is great. "He's going to get us killed. Larb said with an irritated tone in his voice. "Like seriously can't he realize that.
"Ok we'll have to think of something else. "Like what? "I don't remember us thinking of what to if this were to end up happening. "Then again it is Zim we are talking about.
Tenn asks Larb seeing how he's the one thinking of what to do. "We split up into two groups of two. "Tenn you and Grapa go left and me and Skoodge will go right.
"Sounds good. Grapa is the first to agree with Larb's strategy as they all start heading out quickly trying to find Zim. Hopefully they find him before Deiol and his Dad do.
We transition to that one dark room where we see Deiol standing by a window in the room. We then hear Deiol's Dad enter and stare at his son. "I got news from Tobal.
"He says they've entered the building. "Said that Zim's ran off ahead and is looking for you. "Good. "Didn't you not want them knowing where we are?
"Yes before I didn't but seeing how their all here my mind's changed. "Everything we have worked for and done all ends here. "So let Zim run off and look for me. "It won't get him what he wants.
"Tell Tobal that he Liera, Yebot and the sisters are to find them and kill them. "You sure about this? "I've been sure about this for years Dad. "What's another hour going to do?
"What about me? "Stay here. "Cause if any or all of them find this room then I'll want back up. "You got rid of somebody that could've been here to lend a hand.
"Qerty shouldn't have been a liability. "He risked his life going to Irk to save Yebot and lived to tell the tale. "You could at least be grateful for what he did.
"We don't have time to talk about him Dad. "Instead we should focus on finding them and putting them out of their misery. Deiol's Dad doesn't respond instead he gives the command Deiol wanted over a comms tool.
After all that we move back over to Tenn and Grapa who we see currently heading up a flight of stairs. They were hoping to run into Zim and catch up with him.
They had made it to the fifth floor where they see a bunch of guests mingling while rasing cups in a toast. "Where could he be? "No clue but it doesn't look like he's here.
Grapa responded to Tenn's question as they kept looking for Zim. Their search led them to what looked like a bunch of recording equipment lying around a medium sized room.
They peak inside and look around before fully entering the room. The room was slightly trashed with some equipment and paper sprawled around the floor.
"He might've been through here. "How can you tell? "This seems like Zim's handiwork. "Something about it seems like him. Tenn says in response to Grapa's curiosity.
"I guess you might be right but uh what about those mannequins? "Mannequins? Tenn turns to see two cloaked mannequins holding umbrellas next to each other.
They were holding the umbrellas up in the air and we're entirely in synch with each other. It was almost scary how perfectly together both mannequins were.
"We're those always there? "Yeah I saw them when we entered the room. "O..K. "If Zim was here like you said that means we're on the right track.
"This door was tampered with. "Somebody picked the lock and went this way. "Question is did Zim do it? "We'll have to see and find out. Tenn says as her and Grapa start leaving the room.
They were stopped quickly as they heard movement from behind them. The two mannequins had moved and we're closer to the two irkens.
Grapa was the first to comment on what had happened. His tone gave off the feeling that he was slightly uncomfortable at what he had seen.
"Uh did those move? "Yeah they did. "Not only that but I have the feeling we're being watched. "Thought I was done that feeling when I left Meekrob.
Grapa slowly walks up to one of the figures and stares at it intently. The cloaked mannequin didn't move at all or gave off that it could. We then see Grapa try and grab the umbrella to see if that would do anything.
The second he did that he jolts back having been shocked after touching it. "You ok? "Yeah the thing shocked me. "This one shocked me to. Tenn says after touching the other umbrella.
Both Grapa and Tenn stood in confusion while continuing to stare at the mannequins. Grapa all of a sudden had a lightbulb turn on in his head before shouting at Tenn.
"GET AWAY FROM THEM! "What? Tenn says obviously confused at what Grapa was shouting at. She would get her answer as she was kicked across the room by one of the mannequins.
The other grabs Grapa by the arm and wrenches it out of place. The mannequins take the cloaks off revealing themselves as the twins Grapa had fought on Kombactia.
Grapa uses his pak legs to shove the grey eyed twin away from him. He then backs up next to Tenn as they both stare back at the two sisters. "Seems like you've gotten smarter.
"Such a shame that we can't celebrate that for much longer. "No instead we have to do what we should've done on Kombactia and that was kill you.
The Grey Eyed Twin said towards Grapa as both twins draw their swords out. "You know these two? "Two of Liera's cronies. "Their twins if you..couldn't tell.
"Yeah looks like it to me. "Enjoying life away from Meekrob I see Tenn. "Of course but you two are sorta ruining that for me. Tenn sarcastically says back to The Purple Eyed Twin.
"Humor won't save you. "She's right. "Uninspired jokes will only make it worse for you. "What exactly are you two going to do us? Tenn wouldn't have to wait long for her answer.
"Funny you should say that. "You see we were given permission to do whatever we want to do to you. "As long you both die then we can whatever we want.
"Let me guess it involves the swords. "You'd be right Grapa. "So do us a favor and die quickly. "We don't get paid by the hour. "I doubt Liera or Deiol pays you at all.
Grapa instead of getting a response has to dodge a slash from The Grey Eyed Twin's blade. Luckily for him Tenn also dodged when she was nearly hit with the other twins sword.
Tenn kicked The Purple Eyed Twin's leg as she tried and failed to disarm the twin. Seeing as how their swords are only programmed to be wielded by them.
She's then missed a slash from the sword by a split second. The sword on the other hand destroyed a bunch of the recording equipment including a screen to display projects on.
Think of it like a TV mixed with a computer and that's what it looked like. Grapa dodged the sword while throwing some equipment as a way of trying to disarm the twin.
Both Grapa and Tenn would eventually get the fight back into their favor. As they rotated around the room both twins bumped into each other.
Out of instinct they turned and slashed their sword. Thankfully for them they both hit the other twins swords. This allowed Grapa and Tenn to push the twins away from their weapons.
A small fist fight ensued as The Twins blocked a majority of the hits that were thrown at them. We see Grapa get knocked to the ground as his arm is wrenched again.
Tenn though is in the the middle of what can be best described as a intense shoving match. Both her and The Purple Eyed Twin kept trying to overpower the other.
Grapa loosened the grip The Grey Eyed Twin had on him and tried to get back up. He manages to throw her off of him and get backs up.
Instead of taking advantage of getting free he's grabbed into a sleeper hold by The Purple Eyed Twin. He is then punched in the face and kneed in the stomach by the other twin.
She grabs her sword and goes to kill Grapa with it. Right before she does this Tenn springs to life and stabs The Purple Eyed Twin in the back of the neck with a broken shard of glass.
The Twin falls to the ground holding her neck as she starts bleeding heavily. "NO! The Grey Eyed Twin shouts as she drops her sword and runs over to her sister.
"You..you..what have you done? "You killed her you actually killed her. "She was my everything. "We completed each other. "It should have been me. "You should've killed me..NOT HER!
"Are you pleased with yourselves? The Grey Eyed Twin says as she grabs her sword and aims it at Tenn. "You..I will have your head for what you've done.
"Even after that it still won't undue what you have done to us. The Grey Eyed Twin says as she goes to slash Tenn with her sword. Thankfully for her Grapa saves her at the last second.
He smashes a tripod in the back of her head knocking her to the ground. Grapa hits her again with the tripod knocking her unconscious. "You good?
Grapa asks as he offers his hand to pick Tenn off the ground. "Yeah thanks. "Don't mention it after all you saved me first. "Right we should get going.
"Who knows where the others are? "Agreed. "Let's go through here. "Alright lead the way. Both Grapa and Tenn go through the broken door and continue the search for Zim.
As for The Twins if you asked Grapa and Tenn it needed to be done. They tried not to focus on it that much as they continue their search in hopes of getting the results they wanted.
After what happened with Grapa and Tenn we switch over to Larb and Skoodge as they head through a kitchen area. Besides them startling the chefs nothing much happened.
If you count having pans and what looked like pasta sauce thrown at you nothing much then. Let's say that it was a good thing they dodged the sauce and pans.
They eventually entered a large room filled with party games. Examples include pool and darts among many others that could be given. "Hm shame we can't play a round.
"Who knows after this we can play some darts. Skoodge says hoping to lighten the mood that was in basic terms absolutely awful. Larb made that mood even worse with his response to what Skoodge said.
"We should focus more on finding Zim. "I know that Larb I was only saying. "Yeah but we should spend less time making jokes. "Sure whatever you say.
"Say Skoodge while we're searching for Zim you mind telling me about Likoa? "Uh I though we needed to spend more time on looking for Zim. "Yes but Likoa is accusing you of being a defective.
"As well as working with the enemy. "I told you he's nothing but a liar. "He's hated me for what seems like forever. "This isn't even the first time Likoa's tried this.
"It isn't? "No in fact he's tried this while I was training to be an invader. "Like I said it's almost like he's jealous of me or something. "Though he could have other motives.
"What those motives could be I have no idea. "I say we forget about it and move on. Skoodge was hoping that Larb changed the subject or at least stopped talking about Likoa.
"Like I said I'll take your word for it. "That is until we go talk to him together. "Great..can't wait. Skoodge says nervously as they keep walking through the game room.
They are stopped as somebody starts shooting at the two invaders. "GET BEHIND SOMETHING! Larb shouts as he and Skoodge dive for cover behind some tables.
"Great guards are here. "Uh Larb I don't think that was from the guards. "Who is then? Larb didn't get an answer from Skoodge as whoever has shot at them made their presence known.
"Where do you think your going? A voice is heard saying as it enters the room. The Figure walks more into the room revealing himself to be Yebot.
"That looks like one of Deiol's cronies. "You'd be right. "You know him? "Me and Zim had to deal with on Earth. "Zim had sent him to Irk to be worked on by one of the scientists.
"Of course he did. "That sounds like something he would do. "He wanted to kill him but I talked him into sending into space. "Guess he managed to escape somehow.
"I was hoping you'd show up again Skoodge. "After what you and Zim did to me you'll be lucky to die quickly. "Added bonus for bringing along Larb with you.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to get my hands on you again. "Thought I should say that scientist you sent me to is a total nerd. Yebot says in a insulting tone referring to Aeiob.
"Hope your not expecting to kill us. Larb responds as he continues to hide behind the stack of tables. "What else what I'd be doing here? "How about the two of you quit hiding and show yourselves.
"Make this easy for me. "Keep dreaming. "Whatever you say figures you want to go and make this difficult for me. "Good thing I am a patient man.
Yebot says as he looks around the room for Larb and Skoodge. "What do we do? Skoodge whispers towards Larb hoping he has an idea on how to get out of this situation.
"I think I have an idea but you'll have to follow my lead. "Right behind you. Larb proceeds to grab a cup on the table and toss it to the right where Yebot sees it.
Yebot shoots at the cup thinking it was Larb or Skoodge and isn't pleased with being tricked. "Ah ok I see what we're doing here. "Fine then continue hiding like cowards.
"Quick follow me. Larb says as he starts heading over to a counter that leads into another kitchen area. He slides across to the other side with Skoodge following soon after.
"What's next? "Cause if you ask me we should get close to him and get that gun away from him. "I agree only issue is how we're going to do that.
"Don't tell me that two..mighty..irken invaders are resorting to hiding like scared little children. "Your better than this. "Actually I should've expected this from you two.
"At least face me like a man. "It's only a gun don't tell me irkens have a fear of that. "Cause if you do then that is really says a lot about the two of you
We hear Yebot say in a rant about Larb and Skoodge hiding from. So much for that patience I guess. Though he is mainly insulting them and not really getting that angry..at least not yet
"Ok I'll throw a cup and then we'll head behind that pillar. Skoodge says to Larb as he keeps an eye on where Yebot is heading in the room. "Good you do that.
"Try to throw it to the right by that pool table. "Got it. Skoodge grabs the cup and manages to hit the wall right in front of Yebot. Yebot proceeds to quickly turn and shoot two laser cased bullets in Larb and Skoodge's direction.
"Not the best throw. Larb whispered to Skoodge criticizing his aim with the throw in the process. "My bad that was not what I wanted to do. "Hopefully he didn't see that.
"Is that it? "Huh throwing stuff at me. "Go on show yourselves what are you waiting for? Larb and Skoodge begin trying to sneak up to Yebot to disarm him
As they did that Skoodge suddenly has a hand grab his shoulder. To his shock it wasn't Larb it was some random guy in a chef's outfit. "Who are you?
"Hey man I need your help. "With what? "There's a crazy man shooting a gun. Larb turns and sees Skoodge talking with The Figure and wonders what is going on.
"Skoodge you mind telling me who that is? "Please I heard the gunshots and took cover in the kitchen. "I was hoping you could bring me somewhere safe.
"We kinda have our own issue. "Yeah sorry man. "I won't get in your way I promise. "All I want to do is get out of here and back to my family. "They probably worried sick about me.
"Look we really can't lend you a hand. "That's ok. "Before you go I have more thing to tell you. "Uh can you make it quick? "Yeah. "Ok then what is it?
The Figure doesn't say anything instead choosing to stand up and whistle over to Yebot. "What are you doing? Larb says grabbing The Figure by the arm trying to bring him to the ground.
"Behind the counter I see. "Best you two stop hiding or I'll start shooting. "If you two were smart you'd listen. The Figure was the first to show himself as he starts laughing.
The Figure then starts to slowly change into none other than Liera. "Never..gets..old I am telling you. "I think I've found a new hobby. We hear Liera say in arrogant tone as always.
"Your better than I thought Liera. "That's because irkens are so easy to trick. "Honestly it's one of my favorite things to do in life making them look stupid.
Larb and Skoodge walk in front of the counter staring back at Liera and Yebot with hatred. "Should've known it was you. "Shoulda woulda coulda.
Liera said back continuing to laugh at what he did. "Ah man Yebot kill them so we can move on with our life's. "Don't have to tell me twice. "Your awfully brave for somebody using a gun.
"An irken trying to talk about playing fair. "Oh the irony. Yebot chimes in with comments of his own. "Zim's not here to bail you out Skoodge. "You have to feel pretty nervous.
"No not really. "Petty criminals like you don't scare me. "I'll show you petty and you can bet it'll be criminal. "That your take on a joke? Larb says unamused by Yebot's "joke".
If I had to grade the joke based on how funny it was I'd give a B..minus. Still room left to get better at telling jokes. Stand up comedy is not a route he should take.
"I've heard children do better at jokes than you. "Huh real funny. "Not really funny merely pointing out a fact to you. "I take it facts are lost on you as well as humor.
"No. "Will you please shoot him and get it over with? "On it. "Anything else you want to add before you both die? "Uh ZIM! "What? Yebot says as Larb and Skoodge leap back over the counter.
"You idiot their behind the counter. Liera annoyingly says as the invaders kept over the counter. We see Yebot start shooting into the kitchen as both Larb and Skoodge hide.
All of a sudden we see Tenn and Grapa enter the room to see what's going on. Liera sees this before Yebot and starts running in the opposite direction.
Seemingly noticing the numbers advantage is no longer in their favor decides to run for his life. "HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING! Yebot shouts understandably angry at what Liera did.
Liera on the other hand did not care instead choosing to keep running for his life. This time not being grabbed and slammed through a wall by Igon.
How funny would that be if out of the blue Igon or somebody else threw him through a wall. It'd be funny for me and possibly some of you but not for Liera.
Yebot though looks around him as he stands dumbfounded at what is happening. Larb and Skoodge see what's going on and head over to regroup with the others.
"Lucks not on your side anymore is it Yebot. Larb says as him and Skoodge walk around the counter. "Thanks for the save you two. "Don't mention it. Grapa says being the first to respond to Larb.
"Yeah we sorta ran into two people on the way here. "Two sisters with swords. "Grapa and I got away after I killed the purple one. "You killed one of the twins?
We hear Yebot say in a shocked manner towards Tenn. "I had no other choice. "Miss..you have no idea what you've done. "Those two were closer than sisters.
"You killing her is going to bite you badly. "If I were you I'd be more concerned about telling us where Zim went. "You think I know that? "Unless you wish to get hurt then you better.
Larb begins threatening Yebot in order for him to respond to his question. "I don't know where he is. "Alright then where's Deiol? "If you Liera and those sisters are here than he isn't far behind.
"You'd be right. "Where is he then? Tenn chimes into the interrogation with a question of her own. "He's on the twenty fifth floor inside some room with two doors.
"The only door on the floor that has two doors. "Wait Grapa what floor is this? "Uh the twelfth. "Then we better get moving. Tenn says with a hint of urgency.
"Right uh what about him? Larb answers Skoodge's question by grabbing Yebot's gun off the ground and shooting him in the leg. "Uh there a reason you did that?
"Yes once we're done here I'll send out a call for reinforcements to take him to prison. "In the meantime we have to get the twenty fifth floor before Zim get's himself killed.
"Shouldn't we tie him up first? "Can't be to safe. "Your right Skoodge everybody tie him up. They then proceed to find a rope that was in the kitchen to tie Yebot up.
"This has to be karma. "Karma for what I did to poor little Kalaq. Yebot's comments were ignored as the invaders leave the room to start heading to find Zim and Deiol.
Liera on the other hand basically ran away like a coward after Tenn and Grapa entered the room. Seeing how he was picked up like a child and thrown through a wall I don't blame him.
The invaders wouldn't have cared regardless of what happened to him. No they would have delt with him regardless of he was hurt or got off scot free.
In the meantime they were hoping that Zim was on the twenty fifth floor. Hopefully they didn't have to worry about that and could finish this mess once and for all.
Finally after randomly running off away from his fellow invaders we transition back to Zim. He was on the twenty fifth floor looking for Deiol on his own.
"Deiol..that fool is here. "HE HAS TO BE! "Only thing is where? "There's only so many places he can hide. "If I must search this entire building room by room than I will.
Zim after ranting to himself about what he's doing continues running around searching for Deiol. This leads him to the same two door room that Yebot had mentioned earlier.
"DEIOL SHOW YOURSELF YOU COWARD! Zim shouted as he tried opening the door but it was locked. "OPEN THIS DOOR AND FACE ME! "You will answer for sending henchmen to try and kill me.
"Do you not know who I am? "I AM ZIM YOU SLIMY LITTLE WEASEL! "OPEN THE DOOR AND ANSWER FOR YOUR CRIMES! Zim didn't get a single response after all the shouting he did.
Something that as expected only made Zim even more frustrated than he already was. He then started to bang on the door with as much anger as he could manage.
After all this Zim still didn't get an answer and this only made his blood boil even more. Right as it looked like he was about to something he felt a hand grab his shoulder.
When Zim turned to see who it was he saw that it was Tobal. He grabbed Zim by his head and held him off the ground. "Going somewhere? He says with a smug tone in his voice towards Zim.
Instinctively Zim used his pak legs to try and hurt Tobal but got a result he wasn't expecting. The usually razor sharp pak legs didn't do anything to Tobal's rock like skin.
"Nice try. Tobal says before punching Zim in the gut before throwing him inside the room after it was opened from the inside. "Look at who we have here.
A recognizable voice is heard saying as Tobal stood at the doorway. "Good job Tobal. "Deal with the others I wish to have a word with Zim. Tobal nods his head before turning and heading to find the other invaders.
The door to the room closed as it's revealed that Deiol's Dad was the one to open the door. We then see Deiol walk from behind a table while holding a serrated knife in his hand.
It was a decent size knife to slightly above average if I had to guess. "I heard what you said out there Zim. "That I was a weasel. "That I was a coward.
"I find that to be funny. "Seeing how you and your colleagues main purpose is to thrive off being a coward. "To weasel your way past people and get what you want.
"Yet when somebody else does it you can't seem to accept that. "None of you can accept that calling in unfair. "You want to know something that's unfair?
"Having the person who gave birth to you killed in a fire caused by your people. Deiol proceeds to kneel down next to Zim and continue speaking. "Let me tell you a story.
"One about what happened after that fire. "For starters my face was PERMANENTLY SCARRED because of it. "My Dad had to bring me to a therapist which didn't do anything to help me cope.
"I have spent every last waking second of my life thinking about that day. "She was everything to us. "And she was taken away from us far to soon.
"You..think I care about your sob story. Zim says finally gaining enough strength to respond to Deiol. "No I don't. "Yet you still waste your breath.
"I'd save it if I were you. "For what? "You intend to kill me? "That's not how this is going to work. "We'll see about that. "Not on your best day would you stand a chance against an irken.
"Are you sure about that? "As sure as one can be. "Alright then tell me have you heard about what happened to Invader Skutch? "What about him?
Zim responded to Deiol while managing to stand back up to one knee. "He was the one that caused the fire that started all this in the first place.
"When we had found out he was responsible for it me and my Dad over there we tried to get even. "Me and my Dad beat poor Skutch to the brink of death all with a smile on our faces.
"Bones broken, teeth smashed we did it all. "Only bad thing is he had that stupid pak that healed him. "Though what we did left him in a coma.
"A fate he shouldn't have had. "If it were up to me he'd be buried in a coffin. "Though after all that I still wasn't satisfied. "No I wanted to make sure every other invader got the hint.
"I with my Dad by my side set out to do to you what Skutch did to my mother and his wife. "That being kill them. "Ha only a fool would have such ambitions of killing an irken.
"Your right they were ambitions. "That was until we made them a reality. "You couldn't have possibly killed anybody let alone an irken invader.
"Really than try calling Invaders Slant, Skoo and Lentil. "Cause you might have a difficult time doing that. "Say you did kill them how exactly did you accomplish such a thing.
"You aren't going to like what I did. "Either tell me or continue to hide behind this lie you peddle to Zim. "You want me to tell you? "Fine by me. "I'll let you this they suffered quite a lot.
"Slant all I'll say is that is his bones are probably being picked clean on Blorch. "Skoo should've learned how to swim. "Lentil he's currently hanging around Vort somewhere.
"Ha no way you could've done that. "Me and Dad had some assistance. "Hence the henchmen you all have grown to know. "Henchmen we didn't need.
Deiol's Dad said interrupting his son's monologue. "You'll have to excuse my Dad he's a little indifferent about who we brought along. "You were the one that wanted them.
"The time for regrets is over Dad. "You and I are going to kill him and the others. "Then all will be right in the world. "They were supposed to kill you before we got to this point.
"Though as we know that never happened. "Did you really think they stood a chance. "If so your even dumber than I had first thought. "Cause you even with your so called advantage are inferior.
"If that's what you think then fine. "It's your funeral. Deiol says before lunging at Zim with his knife. Zim dodged it and was fighting with Deiol over it.
This didn't last long as Deiol's Dad goes over and grabs Zim. He holds Zim's arm back before giving his son a command. "DO IT FINISH THIS! "No." I want him to see one..last..thing.
"Hurry up. Deiol kneels down again before slowly taking off his mask. This reveals Deiol's face and it was in really terrible condition. His face looked charbroiled tofu giving his dark grey complexion.
It looked exactly how you'd expect third degree burns to look like only you know with grey skin. Don't look it up though I am telling you that your not going to like what you see.
He had scars obviously but they weren't large but we're still noticeable on his face. Overall he is pretty bad shape from what had happened to him.
"You see this? "This..is the result of everything that was done to me. "How would you feel if this is how you were forced to spend over twenty years?
"It brings me to a place in my head that I don't like. "All I see is pure hatred and rage. "Then I lose control and end up doing what we did to those invaders.
"FOOLS RELEASE ME! Deiol puts his mask back on before his Dad interrupts him. "Deiol hurry up and kill him already. Deiol places his hand on Zim's head before saying one final thing.
"Rest easy. He says as he goes to try and kill Zim with the knife. That was until the door is kicked in by the other invaders. Deiol stopped and looked up at the invaders and nodding his head with curiosity.
"Let go of Zim Deiol. Skoodge said first as they all stared at Deiol. "Zim you ok? "Does it look like I am ok? "Uh no not really. Grapa chimed in with a comment of his own.
"ENOUGH..none of you get any closer. "If any of you do I will kill him. "Give it up Deiol you've lost. Larb responds to Deiol's threat in a tone as hostile as the Deiol had.
"Lost no I am only getting started. "You don't get to choose when this ends. "I do. "Cause I intend on avenging her. "Especially after how she was taken from me.
"We delt with your cronies. Tenn says trying to get closer to Deiol in the process. "The sisters are broken apart. "Liera ran away like a coward. "As for Tobal and Yebot they'll be heading to prison after this is done.
"You think that'll make me stop. "The ONLY way this ends is with you dying. "Nothing more nothing less. "Deiol they have a point this has went to far.
"Who's side are you on Dad? "Don't let them corrupt you. "They know nothing. "Don't let them distract you from doing what's right. "Look we already did what we wanted.
"You wanted to avenge your mother and we did. "We found Skutch and made him suffer. "Everything else is going to far. "You said you were on my side.
"Not when you choose to not act like the son I raised. "This isn't what I or your mother want for you. "HOW WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT SHE WANTED!
Deiol's Dad let go of Zim and continued to talk to his son. "I know believe me I know more about her that you ever will. "Look please for once listen to me.
"We can't win this fight. "Let's surrender and let this madness end. "Don't do it for them and don't do it for me. "Do it for your mother. "Please. Deiol's Dad says trying to hold in tears.
Before Deiol could say anything we see Zim spring to life and stabs Deiol with two of his pak legs. He stabbed him in the stomach with both legs before throwing him to the side.
"NO! Deiol's Dad shouted at what had happened in front of him. He charged at Zim but was stopped by Larb who prevented him from doing anything.
After a short struggle Larb subdues Deiol's Dad by knocking him out. He stands up and rejoins the other invaders. "Another victory..AS EXPECTED!
"Before you celebrate you mind telling us the reason you ran off on your own. Larb in a annoyed tone demands an answer from Zim. "I had to make sure he didn't get away.
"Yeah and doing that almost got us killed. "We're still alive and Deiol's been brought to an end. "It would've been easier if we were all together. "You sure Larb cause I think it went smoothly.
"Grapa this isn't the time. "Right my bad. "Look I agree with you Larb what Zim did is stupid. "Though we did still manage to end this. "As stupid as that sounds.
Tenn chimes in with her opinion on the matter. "Sure whatever. "The only bright side to this mess is that it's over. "Yes it indeed is great seeing us show them what happens to those who oppose The Armada.
Larb doesn't say anything instead choosing to ignore Zim's comment. "Did you uh send the call for reinforcements? Skoodge asks nervously as he senses the issues Larb and Zim are having.
"Yes in fact their outside waiting for us as we speak. "Then what are we waiting for. "Let's get these two outside with the others. Grapa said as he goes to grab Deiol's Dad.
"He's right let's get go. Tenn said as she heads over to Grapa to lend a hand. Zim, Skoodge and Larb on the other hand grab Deiol's lifeless body and leave the room.
Once they were done they had hoped that this was over. Knowing how things end up for them it wouldn't stay that way for long. Only thing they could do is wait for the next issue to make itself known.
After they left the building they walk by Tobal Yebot and Deiol's Dad being placed into a prisoner transfer ship. There was one thing missing and that was The Grey Eyed Twin.
This was interesting as The Purple Eyed Twin was still there as she and Deiol were placed on a stretcher entering a separate ship. The invaders walked up to an irken soldier who greeted them.
"Good you made it. The Soldier says addressing them as they stare at their handiwork. "Yeah I am thankful it's over to. Larb responded to what The Soldier had said.
"What exactly happened? "It's a long story. "A painful one at that. Tenn chimes in with bad memories that she doesn't like to remember. "I bet.
"Say uh what are they doing here? The Soldier hesitantly says referring to Zim and Skoodge. "Their with us. "Believe me that is also another long story.
Grapa defends Zim and Skoodge by repeating the same thing that Tenn said earlier. "I'll take your word for it. "What about them where are they heading?
"We intend on separating them across prisons across the galaxy. "Only issue is that we haven't found Liera. "Of course. "Runs away like a coward after everything he's done.
"I share how you feel Invader Larb. "He will show himself and when he does he shall pay. Zim says in a menacing tone hoping that Liera is found one day.
"Hm yes anyways we should get going. "There's much left for us to do. The Solider was hoping to ignore what Zim said and leaves them alone to chat.
"So that was fun. "I wouldn't want to relieve it. "In fact I hope that never happens again. Grapa broke the ice by being the first one to speak. "I get your trying to make light of this but this isn't the time.
"Relax Larb it's over. "Grapa's right we could've died but we didn't. Skoodge taps on Zim's shoulder to try and get his attention. Zim looks at Skoodge and wants an answer for that.
"What? "Look Zim we should get going. "I don't want to be rude but there's somebody that can't see that I was here. Skoodge says that and then points to the transport ships.
It's here where we see Likoa overseeing the process going on stares in the direction of the other invaders. "Larb's already on to me and wants me to speak to him.
"Let's take the teleporters and head back to Earth. "Please. Skoodge practically begged Zim to leave early and hoped that he would listen. "Alright.
"Really? "Yes after all I still have much to do. "Dib and his friends still have to meet you at the school. "Tomorrow will be where if this works or not.
"Good mind if we go cause that person is heading over here. Zim and Skoodge place down the pocket teleporters and leave the scene of the crime before Likoa made it over to them.
"Invader Larb I was told that you wanted me to be here. "Yes I have Invader Skoodge with me and he wishes to explain his side of the story you told me.
"Really he's here? "Yes. "Good I've been wanting to "have a chat with him" for awhile. "Well he's right here. "Wait..what? Larb says dumbfounded at Skoodge no longer being there.
"Is this a joke? Likoa says in a annoyed tone towards Larb. "No he was here. "Wait a second. "Zim him and those pocket teleporters. "Zim was here to?
"Yes and something tells me you weren't lying in your story. "We'll uh I am going to head out while you deal with this ok. Grapa says before walking off in a hurry avoiding the silence forming.
"I also am heading out to but it was nice teaming with you Larb. Tenn says quickly leaving before Larb and or Likoa lose their composure.
"Skoodge better have a good excuse for this. "Though knowing what you said he won't. "Yeah I told you he was a defective. "That he was a traitor that needs to be delt with.
"After everything we had to go through he does this. "Likoa follow me we're heading somewhere private. "That way we can get answers from both Zim and Skoodge.
"After you then. They both make their way to Larb's Ship and fly off into the distance. After that exchange things aren't looking good for Zim and Skoodge.
Despite working great together the invaders working together thing went up in smoke. Larb was disgusted at Skoodge for proving Likoa's story right.
Zim was merely an accomplice to what Skoodge's done. Meaning another clash of irken and irken is forming and only bad things can end up happening with that.
Though it wasn't all bad as they had lived to see another day. Even it did lead to a potential fight know that the invaders proved their worth to The Tallest despite them not knowing what happened.
Zim and Skoodge at the end of the day hope to place their focus on Earth and conquering it. Here's hoping that their luck turns around for once..oh wait they still have Dib to worry about.
We see an irken soldier enter a large room where he see's a mortician examining a body. The body is revealed to be Deiol who's lying on a table dead.
"You done in here yet? The Soldier asks as The Mortician continues writing stuff down on a clipboard. "Yes all I have to do is tag him and I'll be done.
"Good The Tallest are hosting this big party on Irk to celebrate surviving that space anomaly. "Really? "Yeah apparently their new therapist recommended it to them.
"A new one? "How many have they had? "This new guy they have is the fiftieth one they've had. "I pity him. "I agree with you. "Say what's going to be at this party?
"Everything you could possibly think of. "Snacks, fireworks and a personal favorite of The Tallest death matches. "Guess I'll be busy that day then.
"Yeah it's going to be fun to watch. "Can't wait. "Say is this pen messed up or is it me? The Mortician heads over and hands his pen over to The Soldier.
"No it's perfectly fine. "Might be out of ink though. "Hm ok thanks. "Right I should finish my work before my shift ends. "Ok I'll be outside if you need me.
The Mortician turns his attention back to the table and makes a chilling discovery. "Hey uh I need a hand over here. "What is it? "The body..it isn't here.
"Where is it? "No clue. The Mortician looks back up at The Soldier and nearly falls back in shock. The Soldier was on the ground holding his throat.
The Mortician runs over and checks on The Soldier as he continues bleeding. "Hey man what happened to you? "Look I need you to answer me. "Say something..anything.
As The Mortician stared at The Soldier not knowing what to do he is suddenly grabbed by his head. He is then stabbed in the back of the neck with a familiar looking serrated blade.
Upon further observation we see the person responsible for this was Deiol. He was still alive as he was only stabbed in the stomach and nowhere near the heart.
The Solider and Mortician were struggling to breath as blood kept leaving thier neck. Deiol didn't care as he ignored them and continued on with his business.
He cleans off the blade and leaves the room as the two irkens to bleed on the ground. What he intends on doing next in unknown but whatever it is it most definitely won't be good.
A dark stormy night fills the outside of what looks like a house of some sorts. It's here where we see a figure walking with a cane. This figure looked like they were really sick.
The Figure was coughing something fierce as somebody enters the room. It was the same figure that was following and watching Lard Nar.
We see that he was wearing a grey ninja type attire and his dark blue eyes glew inside the dimly lit room. "You ok? "Yes. "I got the medicine you needed.
"It took some persuasion to get the doctors to give me it. "Ah thank you Daqon. "Hopefully this'll hold me over until we can find a doctor to operate on me.
"I share your wishes. Daqon says nodding his head to the sickly man's statement. "Have you figured out what the mural says? "No..I..haven't. "You see it's not as easy as I thought Daqon.
"The planet Archaica is an interesting place. "It points to a chosen one chosen by the planets leaders. "It said that five individuals will face each other at the top of the largest peak of the planet.
"Once one of them triumphs they will be granted power beyond their comprehension. "None it makes any sense to me. The Sickly Man says before coughing once again.
"Who are these chosen ones? "They are the only ones Archia deems worthy of being their champion. "The figures showed in the mural are two irkens, a vortian and a larger looking figure.
"The last one though is interesting. "I've never seen anything like it. "None of that matters though. "They all must die Daqon. "That power shall be ours to hold.
"Defying Archaica's prophecy is a dangerous game. "We are equally as dangerous Daqon. "Thanks to me you've been able to harness the limitless power of a rift.
"You on the other hand are nursing back to health. "For that I am eternally grateful. "Forgive me but how are we to kill these chosen ones if don't know who they are.
"We do though. "After hours of cross analyzing I've found out who they are. "The irkens shown are Zim and Tak. "The vortian is Lard Nar. "Finally the larger figure is Igon of Kombactia.
"As for the final one I still have no idea who it is. "I look forward to reunite Tak and Lard Nar. "Relax Daqon we must take a gentle approach at this. "We are to lure them into following us then you will kill them.
"No need to be sloppy. "Fine but once we're done we'll need to find who the remaining chosen one is. "That we will. "Until then you should get going.
"Your first stop is the planet Earth. "Remember don't get sloppy. "Don't worry I understand. "It shall be done. "Eventually they'll all fall leaving this power for us.
Daqon says as he and The Sickly Man continue plotting against the ones chosen by The planet
Archaica. Whatever that entails will soon be revealed whenever it's ready.
Look at that everybody we managed to get through phase two. If you haven't already found out both Deiol and Daqon are alive. The latter aiding some sickly figure in a quest for power.
A power that'll be what's at stake in the final battle. This is where everything goes absolutely haywire. The seeds were placed at the beginning of the phase and have grown a lot.
The gloves are off as people say and things are only going to get better and slightly more complex. Not by much though I am hoping at least, wouldn't want to throw you all off from reading.
