Opening Song: Fading Away by Demon Hunter
Marcus is now facing a dilemma where he is now on his own to recover for the time being having no choice but to keep a low profile and recover from the injuries he's acquired yesterday. Meanwhile Daisuke and his officers are heavily investigating into Marcus's case in order to catch the criminal mastermind behind his family's murder and get him thrown into prison. Akihiro himself is in a state of constant panic as he tries to have Marcus killed to cover up his tracks before he gets find out by either the city police or his father who runs the underground trafficking business before he get himself thrown in jail for the rest of his life. What will lie ahead of Marcus as he gets introduced to the Masters living in the abandoned warehouse, will he be accepted to become a disciple there? Or will he be rejected?
Marcus walks outside of his house into his front yard looking onto the sky wondering to himself. "I wonder how much longer will I have to wait for my wounds to heal." Marcus lifts up his shirt to observe the scars on his chest and the larger scar on his back. "Hmph.. I wonder how many more scars am I going to get? It took a week since I moved here for all this to happen." Marcus said to himself. "Sigh.. At least I should be grateful that the first friend I've made saved my life." Marcus began to have flashbacks of Hiroto beating down the thugs from the city park from yesterday. Marcus's belly then begins to growl making him put his hand on it. "It's already four in the afternoon and I haven't eaten since breakfast." Marcus walked back inside to look inside the kitchen fridge. "Nothing much, just some veggies, plastic wrapped cheddar cheese slices, and a quarter loaf of bread left." Marcus eyes popped open in a humorous fashion as he realized that the fridge has no meat in it. "Just my luck!" Marcus said with comedic disappointment on his face. Marcus closes the fridge, walked upstairs and stepped into his parents bedroom. "I hope that my dead mom and dad has stored left over money I can use to buy some good steak for dinner." Marcus neatly searches through his mother and fathers drawers and closet until he found a box that had a key lock with the key next to it. "Lets see what's inside." Marcus opened the box and was astonished to find a large stack of Yen in it. Marcus took out and counted the total amount of the stash. "Three and a half million!? Alright! Juicy steak here I come!" Marcus took 20,000 yen from the stash and took the box with him to put it under his bed. "I now need a disguise to blend in better so I wont get chased down again." Marcus carefully looks into his brothers room and decides to wear his brothers red cap to tuck his hair inside of it. Marcus wore a nice red/blue jersey shirt of a Japanese basketball team with baggy blue jeans and wore white sports shoes that his brother bought before the tragedy occurred. "Its a bit loose but this will do." Marcus mumbled.
Marcus quietly walked outside from his house and blended within public, carefully keeping his eyes out for any suspicious people following him around. Marcus looked and saw a grocery store a couple of blocks away and power walks his way inside. The grocery store was a bit crowded but not enough to for him to perfectly hide himself in. "Alright I'll just quickly find what I'm looking for and take my leave." Marcus quickly grabs a shopping cart and fast paces his way looking left and right for the meat department. "Where is it? Just where?" Marcus mumbled. All of a sudden a little short haired girl ran up to him from behind not looking ahead and bumped herself into Marcus from behind and fell on the floor. "AH!" she yelled. Marcus was caught off guard, quickly turned around to see the little girl on the floor. "Are you alright kid? You should watch where your going." Marcus said. The little girl apologized to him with her head bowed. "I'm sorry! I was just looking for some my brothers fish sticks that he loves so much!" Marcus easily forgave her and leaned down to ask. "Its fine kid. Tell me, do know where the meat department is located?" The little girl happily pointed the meat department's location. "It's right over there sir!" Marcus happily petted her head and thanked her in response. "Thanks kid, you be safe now." Marcus happily started to walk his way to the meat department with large cooked steak on his mind. But little does Marcus know that the little girl behind him decided to quietly follow him. After a couple of seconds, Marcus felt like he was being watched, he quickly turns behind to look to see no one. With confusion written all over his face, Marcus turned back and continued on. The little girl was hiding behind a shopping isle without being noticed with a playful expression on her face. She quietly walked out and began to stalk Marcus for a couple more steps before she had to hide herself again in another shopping isle when Marcus decided to look back for the second time. "Who's following me?" Marcus thought to himself. Marcus kept going for another couple of steps until he had the same feeling of being followed for the third time and quickly turned again. The little girl giggled with a cute devious look on her face as she was hiding from him for the third time. "Heheheheheh he'll never catch me!" The little girl imagined. Marcus then walked again but this time he prepared himself to look back faster than he previously did. As Marcus walked for another 5 steps he then decided to turn around again. "Aha!" Marcus pointed. The little girl this time was caught red handed and tripped back onto floor in a cartoon-like manner. "AAH!" Marcus looked confused and slightly annoyed. "Why are you following me?" The little girl got up and replied while rubbing the back of her hair. "Just cause." Marcus then questions the little girl. "Weren't you supposed to be looking for some fish sticks that your brother likes?"
Before the little girl replies, a brown haired teenage boy suddenly walked out of one of the shopping isles and spots the little girl. "There you are Honoka!" Marcus then saw the brown haired kid walking towards the little girl who Marcus now knows her name, Honoka. "You shouldn't be walking around the store bothering strangers!" Honoka tried to calm her concerned older brother. "Relax big bro this guy is a very nic-" The brown haired teen pinched and stretched his younger sisters cheeks to discipline her. "UAAAAHH Kenichi stop that!" Honoka protested. Marcus was somewhat amused seeing these siblings quarrel with each other especially hearing Honoka making cute whimpering sounds. "You could've gotten yourself lost or even possibly get yourself abducted, aren't you listening to me!?" Kenichi scolded. Marcus then turned around and replied in support of Kenichi's statement. "He's right you know." Kenichi and Honoka paused and looked toward Marcus walking away not turning his face back. After a second of awkward silence Kenichi continued to scold Honoka agreeing to Marcus's statement. "You see even this guy knows what I'm talking about." Kenichi picks up his sister and carried her under his arm like a toddler and walked back to the shopping isle where their mother and father are shopping. "Stop treating me like a little kid! AHAAHAA!" Honoka cried. "I hope I didn't stick out too much." Marcus told himself. The sibling quarrel Marcus saw earlier began to trigger flashbacks of his childhood memories of him and brother Macario getting into trouble with their parents for the times they've played tag, fought, and pulled pranks on store workers in the grocery stores when they were just little kids. "Hmmm Those were the days." Marcus imagined. Marcus finally reached towards the meat department and bought as much as he needed to last him a good week. Marcus walks towards the checkout station to pay for his meats. As the cashier scans the packages of meat, he looks to his left and sees little Honoka struggling to get Kenichi to let her go. "Let me go! Let me go! Let me go! UUUUAAAAHHHAAAAA!" Honoka cried. Marcus slightly chuckled and looked away. He finally payed for his food and carried his bags to leave the store. Marcus walked home safely and began cooking his own food for dinner for the first time since his mother passed away.
Meanwhile Daisuke and his fellow officers drove to the main city police station to inspect the new jail prisoners that matched Marcus's descriptions. "Lets see here.. Long brown hoodie jackets, Navy blue jeans, and Black Boots." Daisuke then pointed his finger to count the number of the prisoners wearing the same outfit. "Nine.. Ten.. and Eleven. Yup that's them. Lets begin interrogating them one by one." He then signaled his officers to grab one of the Akihiro thug members and escorted him into the interrogation room. "I'll take it from here officers. I'll make sure beat some answers out of them to get the information that I need." Daisuke then entered into the interrogation room with a nightstick and a metal bat, he then shut the door behind him to begin his work. At the same time outside the police station a black van is being driven by man dressed in a nice black suit. "Akihiro sir we are getting closer to the Koryo police station." the man informed. "Good to hear, we need to finish this as quickly as possible. Remember to scout and tell me who's inside before we do anything." Akihiro ordered. The van stealthily parked five blocks away from the Koryo police station. Akihiro slowly exited from the van with three men in black suits and causally strolled their way to the police station. "Remember to leave no survivors. This is our only opportunity to cover our tracks without a trace." Akihiro stated. "You want us to kill our own members sir?" One man asked. "Of course my minion, those rookies incapability of killing the entire family of that parasite and their attempts to escape arrest was much more than I can stomach." Akihiro stated. The three men then stood beside the front while Akihiro walks to the back of the building. "After you tell me who's inside the police station, fire away. I'll sneak attack from the back to finish off anyone who tries to escape."
Inside the Police station, Daisuke was busy interrogating one of the Akihiro thugs by trying to beat the information out of him. "Where did you take the bodies?" Daisuke asked. "I don't know what bodies you're talking about detective! Quit wasting my time asking me these dumb questions!" The thug barked back. "We've found a security video footage of you and your men attacking the foreign kids family at the Koryo city mall parking lot. We've also found out that the security camera got destroyed moments after you and your gang got taken down by the family you tried to attack." Daisuke then gabbed a metal bat and swung at the thug at the side of his head with shear force busting him open. "AAAGGH!" the thug screamed in pain. Daisuke then grabbed him from the floor and pinned him against the wall chocking the thug. "We know that you and your men tried to murder that family. That one boy who managed to survive told me some descriptions of you and your boss." Daisuke threw him to the other side of the interrogation room breaking the wooden table. "AHH! STOP!" the thug cried. "Not until you spill out all the information about who your boss is, and where he hid the bodies!" Daisuke said in a serious tone. Daisuke once again grabbed the metal bat and began to approach the thug. "The amount of puddles of blood that we saw in that alley was the worst I've seen in years!" Daisuke said with anger. The thug was laying on the floor with a fearful look on his face as he sees Daisuke preparing to swing.
They were suddenly interrupted by hearing rapid gunshot fire sounds outside the interrogation room. Daisuke took out his walkie talkie. "Whats going on over there!?" Ten police officers ducking undercover from their knocked over desks replied in great distress. "We're under attack by 3 men holding sub-machine guns! We've already called for back up. Stay inside the interrogation room and don't come out!" Daisuke was shocked to realize that the Koryo city police station was under attack. The thug lying on the floor tried to get up and attack Daisuke while he was distracted. "Not happening." Daisuke said while wrestling and pinning the thug on the ground. Meanwhile Akihiro's men are beginning to take more ground as the officers are scrambling for cover while searching for more ammunition. "3 of our officers are dead already! We need to get to the ammunition room!" one of the officers said. Another officer boldly ran across the hallway dodging many bullets into one of the ammunition rooms to grab a shotgun, ammunition, and a bullet proof vest. When the officer finally entered into the ammunition room, he sees Akihiro standing in front of him with a handgun in his hand. "Who are you? Are you with-" (BANG)Akihiro fired a shot at the officer directly at his forehead instantly killing him. "One down." Akihiro said. "I'll make sure no one here survives." Akihiro then takes two sticky bombs out from his tuxedo and plants them on the walls. Akihiro turned his head looking out of the room. "Now where are those incompetent minions of mine?" Daisuke meanwhile finished beating the thug unconscious and proceeded to walk out of the room to help his fellow colleagues.
Daisuke walked around the hallways turning his head left, right and behind himself to keep himself on high alert. "I need to help out my colleagues before anything else happens!" Daisuke says to himself. As Daisuke enters another hallway, he spots Akihiro causally pacing around while spinning a handgun with his right hand. "My my look who we got here." Akihiro said. Daisuke took one look at Akihiro and began to remember Marcus's descriptions from the back of his mind. "Blonde hair... blue eyes... and a white tuxedo…. So you're the one who killed that kids Family!" Daisuke called out. "Correcto mundo my fellow detective you've cracked the case! But that really doesn't matter anyways, because you and everyone else in this building will be reduced to ashes!" Akihiro said with a sick sadistic smile. Akihiro pointed his gun at Daisuke. Daisuke readied himself seeing Akihiro pulling the trigger. Daisuke dodges the first round fired towards his head with ease. Akihiro was caught by surprise seeing Daisuke's reaction speed and fired seven more rounds out of desperation to kill Daisuke. Daisuke jumped, bended and twisted his head and body sideways in midair dodging six bullets that was being shot towards his head, neck and chest. But the seventh bullet was shot directly into the right side of his abdominal section after he finished dodging the six previous bullets. "Grrrgh" Daisuke grunted. Akihiro chuckles and taunts Daisuke as he reloads his handgun. "Tell me detective how many more bullets can you dodge before having a hole blown through your head?" Daisuke quickly charges forward at Akihiro to attempt to kick the gun upward away from Akihiro's hand before he fired another shot. Akihiro began to worry noticing Daisuke charging at him with such speed similar to his own despite bleeding from a bullet wound. "You can move this fast with a bullet wound!?Consider me impressed!" Akihiro stated as he jumps high above Daisuke with his hand stretched out with his gun barrel touching Daisuke's head. "Goodbye." As Akihiro proceeded to pull the trigger, Daisuke quickly grabbed Akihiro's hand and turned the gun he was holding sharply away from his head having the bullet shot into a wall. Daisuke pulled Akihiro's arm down and quickly slammed him on the ground. "You wont be escaping life imprisonment kid!" Daisuke said as he tries to subdue Akihiro in a firm arm lock. Akihiro triggered by the words spoken to him, replies back with bloodshot eyes and an evil smirk on his face. "Oh quite the contraire detective. You and your colleagues wont be escaping this building alive!" Akihiro used his all his strength to free himself from Daisuke's arm lock and began attacking him with a fury of multiple Karate punches and kicks. Daisuke responds by dodging and blocking every punch and kick that was being thrown at him. Some of Akihiro's punches and kicks managed to break through holes on both sides of the walls of the hallway as they were fighting intensely. "This kid seems to be skilled enough kill with his bare fists." Daisuke said to himself. "Playtime is over kid!" Daisuke rebuked. Daisuke began striking back with punches and kicks of his own while trying to ignoring the bullet wound in his right abdominal. Akihiro responds quickly by dodging and blocking his punches and kicks just as well as Daisuke did using his seikuken. With each attack, Daisuke's blood began to drip down on the floor causing him pain. Akihiro began to notice Daisuke getting slower for each punch and kick dished out against him. Akihiro began to smirk and chuckle arrogantly towards Daisuke's fatigue. "What's the matter detective? I thought playtime is over!" Daisuke annoyed with Akihiro threw a strong upper kick to Akihiro unintentionally exposing his bullet wound. Akihiro then takes advantage and struck a devastating roundhouse punch (Mawashi-Zuki) straight into Daisuke's bullet wound. Akihiro added a side kick (Yoko-geri kekomi) knocking Daisuke a great distance away making him fall on his back. "Do you now see how futile it is to oppose the likes of me detective?" Daisuke struggles to get himself back on his feet as Akihiro continues to slowly walk towards Daisuke. "If you continue to struggle against me, I'll kill you in a fashion that will make other detectives quit their job when they discover your mangled corpse." Akihiro then stopped and made a karate stance preparing to land a fatal blow to Daisuke the moment he gets back on his feet. "It's been fun toying with you detective, but your life is over!" Akihiro boldly declared. Daisuke eyeballed Akihiro as his body struggles and quivers in agony trying to get up. "Let's see if you can kill me kid." Daisuke taunted back as he got up. Akihiro dashed towards Daisuke attacking him using the deadly spear hand strike (Nukite). Daisuke in response took the opportunity to dodge Akihiro's spear, tightly grabbed his wrist and overthrew Akihiro high in the air and slammed him down on the hard floor injuring Akihiro. Daisuke then puts Akihiro in a firm arm lock hold pinning him down full force. "Looks like you've lost kid." Daisuke taunted. Akihiro growled and seethed as he struggles to get out of Daisuke's arm lock. "Your death will be slower and more agonizing when I get out of your hold!"
Meanwhile Akihiro's soldiers finished killing off the remaining officers they've attacked. "Lets go to every room and kill everyone inside!" Akihiro's men reloaded their sub machine guns. "Lets make sure we plant the sticky bombs on the vital positions to collapse the building!" Akihiro's men then went to the hallways, going in and checking room after room murdering every person inside mercilessly. The henchmen entered into another hallway seeing Daisuke having Akihiro pinned down. Daisuke turned and saw Akihiro's men with their sub machine guns aiming towards him. "Shoot him!" Akihiro shouted to his henchmen. Akihiro's men fired away their sub-machine guns mercilessly onto Daisuke's body piercing his chest, stomach, crotch, and his legs. Daisuke's body fell on the floor while Akihiro got himself up with gladness on his face. He looked down onto Daisuke's bloodied body with an arrogant sickening smile. "Good riddance detective! You'll make a tasty meal for my dogs tonight." Daisuke was bloodied on the ground but barely conscious enough to hear what Akihiro was saying. "Remember to plant those bombs on every wall and on anything else that will be used against us when the ruble gets cleaned up, no one must know what we've done here!" Akihiro's men bowed their heads in obedience and proceeded to run around the hallways to plant sticky bombs in every hallway, in every room, and on every computer or equipment that police in other parts of the city would use against them. "They're going to blow up the entire building!? I've got to get out of here quickly!" Daisuke said to himself. Daisuke tried to quickly drag himself quietly out of the police station through the back of the building. Akihiro meanwhile went to the cell hall and saw his former minions imprisoned. "Akihiro! Master! You came to save us!" One of them shouted for joy. Akihiro frowned at his imprisoned minions. "I'm not here to save you simpletons! I'm here to kill all of you!" Akihiro retorted. Akihiro opened the cell door and charged at them. Akihiro gave one of his former minions a fatal uppercut dislocating his neck backwards. The other men are now left with no choice but to fight back to stay alive. "You traitor!" The remaining men together valiantly attacked Akihiro throwing punches and kicks. But Akihiro's incredible speed prevented them from landing a single blow. Akihiro happily retaliated with fatal punches to the heads that cracked their skulls and kicks to the chest strong enough to make their hearts to fatally combust. Akihiro firmly grabbed the head of the last survivor and twisted his head with ease. With a relieved look on his face killing the last former minion, Akihiro said to himself. "When this whole thing is over, I'll have my chef cook me some delightful wagyu steak to ease my troubles." Akihiro's men opened the interrogation room and saw one of the captured men who Daisuke previously beaten up. "Kill him!" The three men opened fire and killed the last remaining former gang member who was captured by the Koryo city police. They then put the last remaining sticky bombs on the walls and ceiling of the interrogation room.
Daisuke was a few feet away from the back door knowing that he left a trail of blood on the floor. "I need to escape before they find out I'm not dead." As Akihiro and his men were walking at the hallways, they soon saw where Daisuke's body was previously located with blood trails leading towards the back door. "One of you track him down and put a bullet through his head!" Akihiro demanded. One of Akihiro's men followed the trail. Akihiro and the other two henchmen went out from the front door of the building. "Looks like the job is finished! Well done men." Akihiro congratulated, Daisuke finally made it out from the back door still dragging his body outside. "I need to get myself far away from the building and wait for the ambulance to arrive!" Akihiro's gunman then put the gun barrel on Daisuke's head. "Where do you think your going?" Daisuke in his mind knew that he wont be able to survive, he decided to loosen down, close his eyes and embrace the bullet that was going to be shot through his head. Before Akihiro's gunman was able to pull the trigger, Daisuke heard a distant sound of police sirens getting louder rushing towards the building surrounding the entire block. "It's about time they came!" Daisuke whispered. Akihiro's gunman paused in panic as he saw numerous amounts of police cars, swat vans, and ambulance trucks surrounding the police station. Akihiro was sitting in his van with his two henchmen growing incredibly nervous. "Are we going to continue waiting sir?" Akihiro's minion asked. "I'm afraid we wont, we cant afford anyone in that building to remain alive at this point, anyone who survives will increase our chances of being found out." Akihiro proceeded to press a remote control button. BOOM! The whole building exploded and collapsed on itself into the very ground that it once stood on. The amount of thick smoke that came out of the rubble covered many blocks of the city. A large piece of the building the size of a basketball collapsed fell on the head of Akihiro's gunman knocking him unconscious. The gunman's unconscious body shielded Daisuke's body from the rubble falling on them. The police and swat cars that showed up could only watch in horror and disbelief on what is occurring in front of their eyes. "We need medics out of their tucks with stretchers ASAP! Let's find and drag out as many people out from this rubble before more people die!"
As the night began to set in, Marcus was in his living room sitting on his couch scrolling through TV channels with many things going through his mind. "How am I going to survive on my own in Japan now that my family is dead? How am I going to attend high school and walk back home in one piece without suffering another stabbing wound?" Marcus then came across a news channel that displayed a thick smoke from a helicopters point of view. "Whats this?" Marcus turns up the TV volume and tries to fully understand what the news anchor lady is saying. "Here we see a thick smoke where the Koryo city police station is located, many locals describe hearing a very loud explosion this late afternoon. The police testify that they where answering a distress call of three armed men storming into the building, opening fire at police staff earlier on. The police and ambulance department are now on the scene looking for any survivors within the rubble who they can quickly take to the hospital for immediate medical treatment." Marcus leaned forward and paid closer attention for more details as the news anchor kept reporting the news. "The police and firefighters has only uncovered human body parts and dead corpses so far of officers, detectives and prisoners with 40 people confirmed to be dead so far." Marcus began to have a suspicious look on his face. "I've got a bad feeling about this…" Marcus turned off his television and further narrates. "There has to be some scumbag mafia gang behind this!" Marcus then hears the door bell ring. Ding-Dong. Marcus became cautious and looked to see who was outside his door. "Yo Marcus are you still awake in there? I've come to check to see if your alright, I also have some games we can play!" Marcus opened his door looking at Hiroto with the new game station 5 he was holding. "Whats good Hiroto, what kind of games do you have in mind?" Marcus asked. "I'll show you when we get in." Hiroto replied.
Hiroto walked into the house and set up the game in front of the living room screen. Marcus in the other hand was getting some soda from the fridge for both of them to drink. "I've played this new game called Duty Calls Space Warfare and Super Death Match that we can play!" Hiroto stated. "Sounds like we'll be playing for a while, want some cold cola?" Marcus asked. Hiroto happily nodded his head "Sure thing, throw one to me!" Marcus threw the soda bottle to him and walked to the living room. Hiroto hands the game station controller to Marcus. "Here you go. You're gonna love the new graphics and features of this new game system!" Marcus took the controller and asked Hiroto. "So which game do you want to play first? I'm down for any game!" Hiroto looked back at Marcus "Heh! Since we're in your house, I'll let you be the one who chooses." Hiroto replied. Marcus then looks at the game library on the screen. "I guess we'll start playing Duty Calls Space Warfare first then!" Hiroto starts the game and the screen takes them into the menu. "You do know how to play this game right?" Hiroto asked. "Of course I know, I just need to polish up my skills." Marcus stated. Both teens for many hours played together against other players in online multiplayer for many hours, having a fun time annoying and trolling other players on the servers by planting and detonating bombs on unsuspecting sniper players, purposely driving spaceships into their teams moon base killing everyone while costing them the whole match, and enraged every player by sabotaging their hovercraft vehicles. Both boys were wheezing and laughing having a great time of their lives. "Do you have some chips we can eat?" Hiroto asked. "Only one bag left." Marcus replied. Marcus got up and put the entire bag of chips in a huge bowl for them to share. Half an hour after playing and eating, Marcus then decided to take the opportunity to ask Hiroto a serious question. "Hey Hiroto I was wondering about that warehouse. What kind of Martial Arts do these masters teach?" Hiroto then sighed as if he was expecting him to ask such a question. He gave Marcus a serious look in his eyes and answered. "The type of martial arts that they teach is very effective in self defense but extremely lethal! If you misuse any of their techniques, your very likely to end up killing your opponents, or even injuring yourself severely." Marcus then responded back with a fire in his eyes. "I don't care about how dangerous the training is neither do I care about how lethal the techniques are. I'm still invested in learning on how to protect myself!" Hiroto then got up from the couch walked up and asked Marcus a serious set of questions. "Do you intend on using martial arts to kill people recklessly Marcus?" Marcus then answered. "I'll use it to protect myself and others in need! If I have to kill to accomplish either one, I wont hesitate!" Hiroto questioned Marcus again. "What do you think will happen after you kill your opponents Marcus? Do you think there are no repercussions for having blood on your hands?" Marcus responds to Hiroto. "I'd move on and prepare for whats to come and face anyone who is connected to that scumbag who murdered my family!" Hiroto then looked away and paused. "Look…I don't know your pain, but you need to understand that using martial arts for revenge will end you up alone for the rest of your life surrounded by enemies or even end up dying. If that is the path you choose walk in, then start embracing loneliness!" Hiroto walked towards the front entrance door and looked back at Marcus with a slight grin. "I'll come over by your house again next time, make sure you're ready for the warehouse, just don't get mad if the masters reject the idea ofmaking you their disciple." Hiroto then puts on his shoes and jacket. "Keep playing the game station, I'll let you borrow it for a while." Marcus walked to the front entrance door to say goodbye. "I'll make sure that I'll be ready for the warehouse. Thanks again for coming over, I had a great time hanging out with you." Both Marcus and Hiroto dabbed each other. "Let's do this more often." Hiroto walked out into the night and disappeared.
In the next morning Marcus got up from his bed and walked downstairs to eat his breakfast alone in the dining room. Marcus continues to ponder about the news he watched yesterday and the serious conversation he had with Hiroto about going to the warehouse. "I sure hope that attack didn't come from the scumbag I've met days ago! If the martial arts Hiroto told me about was that serious, then I'll use it to track him down and crush his skull! And if the masters reject me, I'll find a dojo that will take me in!" Marcus clenches his fists with his eyes closed mentally picturing himself killing Akihiro. "After I find and finish killing him, I'll continue on and try to live as normally as I can. Who knows? Maybe I start a new family of my own someday." Marcus then gets himself dressed and begins to walk outside with his older brother's clothing. He wears his brothers cap, tucks his hair in, and makes sure he looks good enough to be unnoticeable. "If I get rejected by the masters of that warehouse, then I'll have to hunt for the right dojo as option B. I'll look for the right dojos before Hiroto comes back to visit." Marcus calmly walked out of his house and kept his eyes peeled for any dojos and suspicious people following him. Marcus later walked by a building that teaches Karate Iron Defense Style. To his interest Marcus turns to the dojo and took a deep breath before walking into the building. As he was walking inside the dojo, Marcus was approached by one of the disciples. "Hey kid, what business do you have walking into our dojo?" Marcus then turned to answer the disciple's question. "I'm here to check what your dojo has to offer, I'm interested to learn martial arts." The disciple then responded back to Marcus. "Oh really kid? I'm not sure if your even qualified to be apart of our dojo." Marcus and the disciple talking to him were approached by a tall man with red and white face paint with strange hair making his head shaped like a crab. "What's going on here and who's this kid!" The tall man asked. "Master Gonzui Kumatori! This kid seems interested to become apart of our dojo! Are you going to allow him to join us?" The tall master looked down at Marcus for a brief moment with his arms crossed not looking favorably towards Marcus. "Hmph so you're interested in learning our style of karate? You may not look like a wimp, but you're still not good enough to be apart of our dojo!" Marcus with a slightly annoyed look on his face calmly responded to Gonzui. "What makes you say that?" Gonzui pompously responded turning his back on Marcus. "You look like your just strolling around for an easy dojo to train for your enjoyment! This isn't an easy dojo for you to casually go to and chat with friends kid! I suggest you get lost and never come back here!" Marcus grunted and simply walked away from the dojo with great annoyance and disappointment. "I sure hope none of the masters I meet aren't as stuck up and crusty looking as that guy!"
Marcus continues to walk in the city and spots another dojo and decided to try his luck hoping he can find a strong master to train under. As Marcus made his steps inside the dojo, he notices martial arts students beating each other up recklessly and with brute violence some using steel chairs and kendo sticks. "This is a dojo!?" Marcus was confused and disgusted by what he was witnessing. He was then approached by a tall man wearing a fine white suit with big scar on his face. "Hello there young man! Are you looking to become a disciple in my fine dojo?" Marcus looked at the tall man with an unsure look on his face. "And you are...?" The tall man happily answers Marcus's question holding up a rose."My name is Alan Subishi, I'm one of the great masters who came from the legendary Ryozanpaku dojo! Are you looking to be a disciple in this fine dojo!?" Marcus replies with a confused look on his face. "What kind of martial arts are you even teaching in this dojo?" Alan subishi then proudly replies back to Marcus. "I teach karate kid! Welcome to my Kyuukai dojo!" Marcus then questions Alan. "Sure thing Alan, but what does beating people with a steel chair and clubs have to do with learning karate!?" Alan answers kindly by putting his hands on Marcus's shoulders. "Our motto here is to win by any means! If there's a weapon nearby, then use it instead your fists! If you join my dojo, then I'll make you a strong fighter within a month by learning my way of fighting." Marcus looked disgusted by what he had seen and heard, he turned down Alans offer. "Yeah no thanks, I'll be on my way." Marcus walked away back outside but Alan yelled proudly pointing at Marcus from behind. "Your making a foolish mistake rejecting a great grand master like myself who used to live in the great Ryozanpaku dojo!" Marcus blew him off and walked outside from the dojo. "He's a grand master of screwing people of their money to learn his pile of crap! Marcus was growing frustrated seeing that the dojos that he visited were not going help him to become a martial artist he wants to train himself to be in case he ever gets rejected by the masters who live in the warehouse. Marcus continued on for long hours going to dojo after dojo around the city only to deal with masters who either reject him, or try to scam him with fake martial arts, or dojos that are don't have what Marcus was looking for. Marcus grew tired and pondered his thoughts sitting on a bench. "Looks like there isn't any good dojos that I can resort to." Marcus then remembered about that dojo name Alan mentioned a while back. "If that Alan guy is right about the existence of this "Ryozanpaku" then I guess it wouldn't hurt me to look for that dojo." Marcus got up from the bench and began his search for the mysterious dojo called Ryozanpaku. Marcus quickly decided to walk into various parts of the city where he hasn't explored before. He walked and stopped in a mini market in the middle of the day to buy a drink and some snacks to keep himself going during his quest. "Where is that dojo? I explored almost every part of this city! I wonder if that con artist of a grand master lied to me after all about the existence of this mysterious dojo!" Marcus then walked into a block and saw a huge gate with big kanji top that Marcus was able to read. "Ryozanpaku!? That con artist was right! This dojo actually exists!"
Marcus slowly approached the gates and decided to knock on it. "Hello is anyone there!?" Marcus patiently waited as he stood in front of the Ryozanpaku gates. Marcus knocked a bit harder the second time to make sure he was heard. "Hello! Is this a dojo?! If so I'd like to see what martial arts you have to offer!" Marcus yelled. The gates then opened and was approached by a tall old man with blonde hair. Marcus was caught off guard to see an old man having a bodybuilder like physique. "Hello there young man, you are here to see what we have to offer in our dojo?" Marcus responds back politely. "Yes sir, my name is Marcus Alessandro, I'm looking for a dojo where I can train, I'm wondering what kind of martial arts your dojo teaches." The tall old man then introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Marcus, you can call me Hayato Furinji. We teach various martial arts in our dojo, I'll show you." Hayato then signals Marcus to follow him into the gates. Marcus then stepped into the dojo and his eyes widened in amazement to see the how much open space there was behind the gates. He also looked at the three buildings and commented on the dojo. "Woah! This looks very impressive, this place far surpassed my expectations!" Hayato was flattered and responded back. "Ho Ho! I'm glad you are liking this dojo Marcus! But I'll have to warn you, this is a very difficult dojo to train in." Marcus then questions Hayato. "How difficult is this dojo?" Hayato then turned to look at Marcus. "Your life will be on the line when you come to train here." Marcus was then pleased to hear what Hayato said. "Well I'm glad you warned me in advance, what kind of training do you guys do and what kind of martial arts do you teach?" Hayato then tells Marcus what the dojo teaches. "You will experience it for yourself if you pass my qualification test." Marcus then sees another tall man wearing a leather jacket breaking the punching posts and large stacks of bricks with ease with powerful strikes and kicks that were lightning fast while emitting a powerful aura. "Who's that guy over there!?" Marcus pointed out. "That is the 100th degree street fighter Shio Sakaki." Marcus then asked Hayato. "Is he a Karate master!?" Hayato looked at Marcus. "Yes, he is a Karate master." Sakaki turned around and noticed Hayato and Marcus walking together in the dojo. "Hey Hayato who's that kid."
Hayato responds by putting his hands on Marcus shoulders. "Ho Ho! This boy is interested to see what our dojo has to offer." Sakaki looks at Marcus for a bit and turns back with his arms crossed. "Hmph! You can have the other masters teach you martial arts, I however don't take disciples!" Marcus was caught off guard with that statement made from Sakaki. "Forgive him, he can be a bit difficult sometimes." Hayato assured. "It's fine." Marcus replied. Hayato then toured Marcus around the dojo building. "This is where you will learn and train our sacred martial arts!" Marcus took notice and was impressed with the neatness and amount of space there was in the dojo. "Wow! This is a great looking dojo! May I step in?" Hayato then answered. "Not yet, I have much more to show you." Hayato then lead Marcus inside the detached building. "Is this where the disciples live?" Hayato then turned and answered. "Yes. The masters also live here too." Marcus raised one of his eyebrows noticing a missing set of stairs between the first and second floor. "Wait a minute, why aren't there any stairs between the first and second floor?" Hayato nervously responds back remembering that Sakaki and Kensei destroyed them when they were intoxicated a while back. "It's uh.. just in the middle of being remodeled." Marcus just nodded and agreed to what Hayato told him knowing that he's lying. As Hayato and Marcus were heading out of the building, a woman appeared right in front of Marcus from the ceiling upside down with her face a mere two inches away from his. Marcus flinched his head back caught by surprise. "Umm.. hi. The woman replied back after looking into his eyes. "You wont… be here… such a… shame…" The mysterious woman then disappeared back to the ceiling she came from. "Mister Hayato sir who was that lady?" Hayato answered as they were walking out of the building. "That was the prodigy of weapons Shigure Kosaka. She's a master of weaponry who will never miss her target." Marcus then noticed his brother's cap that he was wearing fell on the floor cut and carved into small sized pieces. "Heheh… She seems legit!" Marcus replied nervously shaking. "Luckily I've got myself a backup cap!" Marcus then puts on his backup cap to keep his disguise. As Hayato and Marcus walked out of the detached building. Marcus was baffled by amount of trees behind the detached building. "You guys have a forest at the back!?" Hayato replies delightfully. "That is where we usually relax in the hot spring we have inside that forest." Marcus was surprised to find out about the hot springs. Hayato then looked up at one of the trees and jumped to it and back faster than Marcus can see with his naked eye carrying a bald chinese man under one of his arm while holding and crushing a spy camera in his other hand. "Nice try but not today!" Marcus then asked Hayato. "Who's that your holding under your arm?" Hayato then puts the short man in green down. "This is the master of all Chinese Kenpo! Kensei Ma." Marcus then politely greets Kensei Ma. "Nice to meet you Kensei Ma. My name is Marcus Aless-" Kensei interrupts and replies back to Marcus. "Nice to meet you kid, but I've got some errands to run right now. Catch you later!" Kensei jumped and disappeared from plain sight. "That was fast!" Marcus imagined. Marcus then looks down noticing an erotic magazine on the floor that Kensei accidentally dropped and quickly looked away from it. "Ill ignore that." Marcus said with his face getting a bit red. Hayato finally led Marcus into the main house where he lives. "And this is where you will be eating with us during your breaks." Marcus saw and enjoys seeing the dining room. He was then approached by slim looking man with a thin mustache from behind. "Who's this visitor Hayato?" Marcus turned around and saw him glaring at him deep into his eyes. "umm… Nice to meet you sir... My name is Marcus..." Marcus nervously greeted. "It's nice to meet you Marcus, my name is Akisame, are you here to become a student at our dojo?" Marcus then responded. "I'm thinking about becoming a student here, this dojo is incredible!" Hayato then replies to Marcus. "That's wonderful to hear! Then lets sit you down so we can discuss the important matters."
Hayato sat Marcus down on the dining table with Akisame sitting next to Hayato. "Now that we showed you what we have to offer, you must answer one simple question." Marcus nodded and prepared himself to answer the question that Hayato was going to ask. "Why are you interested tolearn martial arts?" Marcus was surprised by such a simple question. Marcus then answered in a serious manner. "Other than liking the flashy moves, I'm interested in martial arts because I desire to learn how to protect myself and to protect others who can't." Hayato and Akisame then notices something in Marcus's eyes that made them feel uneasy. "Is that all? It appears that you are hiding something much more than what you've answered." Akisame's statement shocked and made Marcus feel very disturbed. "Hmm I see, it seems to me that your hiding something very personal. I won't go into it but this alone has already made our decision clear." Hayato nodded in agreement. "As much as I would like for you to be here at our dojo Marcus, I cannot allow you to be a disciple in this dojo." Marcus felt devastated by Hayato's rejection but didn't show it on his face. Marcus nodded with a slight grin and thanked Hayato with a bow and handshake. "Thank you very much for the tour around this dojo Mister Hayato sir. I'm sorry that I didn't meet your expectations." Marcus walked out of the main house with Hayato leading him to gates. "You can comeback and try being tested again anytime young man, Be sure that your intentions on being a martial artist does not bring forth any form of despair to others." Marcus looked at Hayato and replied politely. "Thank you for the advice Hayato sir. I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Marcus then walked out of the gates devastated by Hayato's rejection and readied himself to walk home. As he walked a couple of feet away from the dojo he saw a tall tan muscular man with blue hair eating up the sweet fruits he was carrying approaching towards the dojo beside a blonde haired and blue eyed teenage girl carrying bags of groceries who was yelling at him. "Appachai stop eating the fresh fruits we just bought!" The tall man named Appachai having guilt on his face apologized. "Sorry Miu.. but Appachai didn't eat anything all day!" The cute blonde girl named Miu sighed and walked to open the Ryouzampaku gates. Marcus turns away before they both see any part of of Marcus's face. Miu and Appachai notices Marcus walking away from their dojo as if he'd visited there earlier "Appa.. who's was that?" Miu replies making an educated guess. "Probably just a client from Akisame's clinic."Appachai then jumped high and far landing right in front of Marcus scarring him a bit. "AHH!" Marcus flinched and saw Appachai standing in front of him with a big friendly and goofy smile. "Hi! My name is Appachai!" Marcus replied as causally as he could. "What's up Appachai, what are you holding in your arms?" Appachai happily responds. "Appachai has four big melons, some grapes, apples, oranges, and pineapples! Now.. lets go eat!" Miu interferes and gently rebukes Appachai standing behind Marcus. "How many times do I have to tell you not to approach strangers like that! You'll scare them away!" Marcus kindly replies to Miu assuring her without looking back to show his face. "I'll be fine, enjoy those fruits and have a delightful night!" Marcus waves at Miu and Appachai as he walked his way back home without looking back at the end of the city night crept in Marcus began to talk to himself as he was walking back home recollecting his day. "That dojo was the only legitimate one. All the others were either too soft, fake, or just downright disappointing!" Marcus makes a serious note on two of the masters of Ryozanpaku. "That one weird master.. Akisame was it.. and the old man too… they were able to see through me like a glass of water.. that's very disturbing." Marcus then questioned himself about the masters he has yet to meet at the warehouse. "I wonder what the masters are going to be like in this mysterious warehouse Hiroto talked to me about. I hope they are just as good as the masters I've met earlier." As Marcus approaches closer to his house, he sees Hiroto waiting at the front of his house with his arms crossed leaning at the gate doors.
Hiroto noticed and began to teased Marcus "So what were you doing all day? Chickening out?" Marcus responds with a smirk on his face. "Heh, of course not! I'm ready for the grand tour at this warehouse!" Marcus and Hiroto then dabbed each other. "Lead the way my friend." Hiroto turned around and hand signaled Marcus to follow him. "This way!" Hiroto lead Marcus far off out of the neighborhood. Hiroto then decided to ask Marcus about his day as they were walking to the city. "So Marcus, what were you doing all this time outside your house?" Marcus sighed heavily with his head down and told him everything. "I was looking for another dojo to be accepted in case the masters in the warehouse decide to reject me." Hiroto replies slightly humored. "Heh, Oh yeah? Did you come to find any good dojos?" Marcus slightly annoyed and disappointed answered back. "Tch! Most of them were filled with frauds and wimps!" Hiroto then eyeballed Marcus interested in his answer. "So you've found yourself another backup dojo to train in?" Marcus responded bothered by his question. "Yeah. I've found one, too bad they've rejected me. The masters in there were very powerful and unique in their own martial arts! Their dojo was incredible!" Hiroto curiously asked another question. "Why did they come to the conclusion to reject you from their dojo?" Marcus answered the question with sweat running down his face. "The old guy named Hayato Furinji decided to sit me down on his dining table with this other weird master named Akisame and asked me a simple question. He asked me why I was interested to learn martial arts." Hiroto getting more curious asked further. "How did you answer that question?" Marcus face began to tense up. "I told him that I wanted to protect myself and others in need." Hiroto then responded knowing what Marcus was going to say. "Let me guess either one of them or both felt and saw that vendetta in your eyes!" Marcus confirms Hiroto's answer. "Yeah.. But the way that guy Akisame exposed me, made me feel naked. I definitely don't want that guy to nose into my business." The two teenagers then made it to the docks where they see a bunch of busy warehouses where workers were both importing and exporting goods into cargo ships. "Umm… okay which warehouse do these masters live in?" Hiroto looked back at Marcus. "I'll tell you where bro. Don't worry about it." Hiroto then led Marcus to a secluded warehouse that was bigger than the rest of the warehouses with tall electrical fences armed with barbed wires on top covering both sides. Marcus was getting pretty nervous as he approaches the steel gates of this warehouse. "This is where they… live?" Hiroto replies to Marcus's question as he gets his keys out from his pocket to unlock the gate locks. "Yup, this is also where I live. Welcome to my crib!"
Marcus was shocked to hear that this giant warehouse is where Hiroto lives. "Well this is a very interesting place to call a crib!" Both teens walk inside the gates and walk towards the main door of the building. "Yo Master Max! I'm back with my new friend I was talking about!" The steel doors opened and a tall man wearing a red bandanna with a thick dark brown mustache and beard, wearing black leather biker jacket, navy blue pants, and large boots. "You're late again Hiroto!" Max scolded. "Heheh! Sorry about that! I was in a middle of getting my buddy to come over!" Hiroto apologized scratching his head. Max then looked at Marcus. "So.. whats your name kid!" Marcus then politely answers to Max. "I'm Marcus nice to meet you!" Max then leaned to Marcus to curiously ask him. "Marcus.. so that's your name? You came from America?" Marcus replies a bit intimidated. "Uhh.. yeah, I came from LA." Max then looks further into his eyes. "So kid who are you after?" Marcus then backed away a bit from Max completely caught off guard by his question. "Wait.. how did you..?" Max interrupts by leaning down and answering bluntly to Marcus with his arms crossed. "It's written all over your face. And your looking for a master to help you get some payback right?" Marcus froze absolutely stunned that Max read him like a book. "Just like… Akisame… and that… old man…" Marcus imagined. "That face you've just made already tells me that you've been called out by someone already." Max turned around and signaled both teens to follow him through the steel doors. "You're gonna have to get used to being seen through around here Marcus. Nothing gets passed the 3 masters who live here, especially the top master." Marcus narrates to himself nervously with sweat on his face in a cartoon like expression. "If that's the case, then I'll be learning martial arts at the comfort of my own home! As Marcus enters into the warehouse, he notices that the warehouse had multiple unused empty rooms on each side of the warehouse that have blinders preventing anyone from seeing whats inside. "Such open space!" Marcus commented. "Yup, one of the cool parts of this warehouse is that its sound proof! You can scream as loud as you want and nobody outside this warehouse can hear you!" Hiroto stated. "Good to know!" Marcus replied. Max then turned around and told Marcus. "You can hang out with your friend for a bit. I'll bring the top master to talk to you when he finishes his errands."
Hiroto then turned around to Marcus. "We'll hang out in my room, I've go a setup of gaming consoles we can tryout in the meantime!" As Hiroto was leading Marcus to the across other side of the warehouse, Marcus was spotted by a woman dressed in sports clothing squatting a strong metal bar with a dozen dense and heavy plates on each side with ease. "Who's that kid?" She mumbles to herself. The woman then puts down the weights and suddenly appears right in front of Marcus who accidentally bumped into her. "Oof! Pardon me!" Marcus told the woman. Marcus then opened his eyes and saw the woman he bumped himself into. "It's alright kid, are you Hiroto's new friend?" Marcus was dumbfounded to see a woman like her with muscles dense and toned such as hers. "Umm… Yeah I'm Marcus, nice to meet you!" Marcus stretched his hand out to her for a handshake. The lady then had a playful smirk on her face and decided to crush his hands with a strong grip from hers. "I'm Kana Ayame, it's a pleasure to meet you too!" Marcus was grunting in pain as she continued to shake his hand up and down. "It's great that we've got ourselves acquainted, let go of my hand please!" Ayame then giggled a little bit with a devious childish smile on her face. "Sure thing Marcus ol pal!" Ayame said cheerfully. She then swung his hand upward and threw Marcus directly towards Hiroto who was oblivious all this time not knowing that Marcus was no longer following him. When Hiroto heard Marcus's voice screaming he quickly turned around and saw Marcus's body heading towards him with such great velocity. "Watch out Hiroto!" Marcus screamed. Hiroto did not react in time. "AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Marcus crashed into Hiroto knocking each other yards away landing on the floor dizzy and in physical agony.
Both teens were wiped out laying their backs on the hard floor. Hiroto got up with his hand on his head in aching pain. "Uhh… What just happened?" Hiroto then senses a terrorizing aura from behind. "I happened!" Ayame replied. Hiroto begins to shiver in fear as he turned around to see Ayame towering over him menacingly. "AAAAHHHAAAAHHH! STOP! PLEASE STOP THAT! I GIVE IN! I GIVE IN!" Ayame had Hiroto into a Reverse arm scissors lock, having his arm and hand firmly in place. "Tell me Hiroto.. do you think I'm stupid enough to not notice you stealing my laundry earlier this morning?!" Hiroto responds to Ayame in agonizing pain. "Wha-what do you mean by that! I was helping Max fix some cars at his side of the warehouse!" Ayame's eyes began to glow and she began to twist his wrist creating a loud crack. "YAAAAOOOOWWW!" Hiroto screamed. "Okay Okay! I'll give it back to you tomorrow!" Ayame responded back unsatisfied with Hiroto's answer. "Tomorrow!? I want them back now!" Ayame then continued to pull harder on Hiroto's arm. "OKAY AYAME YOU WIN JUST LET ME GO ALREADY!" Ayame finally agreed to let him go. Marcus witnessed the whole thing plainly terrified seeing the whole thing go down. "This woman threw me like a rag doll just to get even with Hiroto? Shes nuts." Ayame firmly grabbed Hiroto by the back of his neck and dragged him into his room. Marcus followed keeping his distance not wanting to piss her off even further. "Okay playboy find it and hand them over back to me nice and folded neatly." Hiroto comically limps towards his room ready to get her laundry. Marcus in the other hand slowly approaches near Hiroto's room without getting too close to Ayame. Hiroto then gives Ayame's laundry back to her. "Good boy, I'll be on my way now." She then looked at Marcus and waved at him with a friendly smile. "See you around Marcus. Enjoy your stay." She then disappeared without a trace. "That woman's got some issues doesn't she?" Marcus turns his head back to notice Hiroto lying down on floor at the corner of his room sulking in a fetal position. "Ummm…. Hiroto... are you alright?" Hiroto looked back at Marcus with a sulking look on his face. "I'll be alright… in a moment or two." Marcus then hears the steel doors being opened and sees a tall tan skinned man from far away entering into the warehouse. The amount of ki he unleashed by just taking a single step inside created a wind powerful enough to blow Marcus high in the air onto the other side of the building. "WOOOAAAHH!" Marcus screamed. As Marcus was about to fall on the floor, his arm was caught by the same man who entered into the building. Marcus was put down and asked a question. "Who are you? Why are you here?" Marcus looked up and saw the same man who entered into the building.
"Uhhh… My name is Marcus, Hiroto brought me here because I was wanting to learn Martial Arts." The tan tall man kept looking at him with a hard look on his face. "So you think I'll just teach you Martial Arts for free?" Marcus nervously replies. "H-How much will you charge me?" The strong man then gave him a frightening answer. "You will pay me with your life boy!" Marcus curiously asked back shaking. "Uuuhhh...What do you mean by... paying me with my li-" The ki pressure begins to intensify on Marcus's body to the point where he cannot move or talk. "Silence boy! You talk too much!" No matter how much Marcus struggles he couldn't even move his eyes or bend his pinky. "If you want to become a disciple here then listen to my instructions!" The tanned master then picked Marcus up like a rag doll and carries him to the very middle of the warehouse and sets Marcus down. "I'll give you three requirements you must do to become a disciple in this warehouse! First, you will to come and live in this warehouse! Two, you will bring anything that will distract you from your training! And three, you must cut all connections with any other martial arts masters outside of this warehouse! If you fail to do either one, you won't be allowed to be here! Understand boy!" The tanned master then turns off his immense ki pressure. "Yes Master! I'll do all three!" Marcus replied. "Before you do boy, I have one question to ask you!" Marcus then looked up to the tanned master mentally preparing himself to answer. "What caused you to desire the knowledge of martial arts?" The other two masters and Hiroto from a distance eyeballed on Marcus ready to hear what he was going to say. Marcus began to look down clenching his fists with fury and grief on his face. "I desire to learn martial arts to protect myself because my family and I have recently been attacked by a gang of thugs. I was forced to witness that scumbag kill my father and brother by gunpoint to their heads! I lashed out in my attempt to take his gun away and kill him myself, but his henchmen stopped me and took me away. I later had to hear the gun sounds that killed my mother as those thugs forcefully tried to drag me into their van to attempt to finish me off there." Ayame's eyes widened in shock to hear his horrible testimony, Max eyeballed down saddened by Marcus's tragic story. The tanned master looked away in a moment of silence. Marcus continued on. "Not long after surviving that encounter, I was attacked again by the same group of thugs who I escaped from the night before to finish the job." Marcus then lifts his shirt to show the scars on his chest, and the bigger scar that was on his back. "I could of died on that day, but Hiroto jumped in and saved my life. I owe him big time for that! That is why I am here to humbly ask you to take me in as your student!" The tanned master looked back at Marcus without making any facial expressions but deep down, his heart aches in pain for the young boy. "This boy.. he reminds me of my younger self…" The tanned master mumbled to himself. The tanned master then puts his hands on Marcus's shoulders. "Thank you for your honesty. Marcus was it? My name is Ohnmar Aahcwmhtaat! Welcome." Marcus looked up and thanked him with some tears in his eyes. "Thank you Ohnmar!" The masters and Hiroto then walked towards both Ohnmar and Marcus are standing. "Be ready by tomorrow night. That's when we'll start training you!" Max said. "I'll be there!" Marcus replied back nodding. Marcus with his face full of hope to avenge his family has now begun his journey to train to become the martial artist who will one day confront the killer behind his family's death, and restore peace in Koryo City.
