Calli and Irys charged at Baelz while the other members went after the rest of The Council.
"Two on one? That hardly seems fair." Baelz commented with a smug grin on her face, as the reaper and Nephalim closed in.
"For you that is." she added under her breath.
Calli slashed at Baelz with her scythe, while Irys shot a blast of black and white light at the red haired goddess; however, Baelz was too fast.
She dodged Calli's swing effortlessly and deflected Irys' blast with a simple wave of her hand, sending it spiraling away.
"Come on now, don't be shy~" Baelz teased.
As she said this, she summoned a large pair of dice that swirled in the air behind her.
"Let's play!" she grinned deviously, sending the dice flying at Calli and Irys.
As soon as they came into contact with the two women, the dice exploded into red bursts of light which sent both women flying backward through the air.
After hitting the ground, Irys quickly got to her feet and dusted herself off, while Calli grunted as she picked herself off the ground, shaking her head to get rid of the dizziness and pain.
"What was that?" Calli gasped as she regained her footing.
"They're called Chaos Dice, like them?" Baelz smirked, two more dice already spinning just above her.
Calli grit her teeth in annoyance before leaping back into action, Irys following her lead.
"We can overwhelm her!" Irys shouted with confidence.
"Right!" Calli agreed.
Together they attacked again, slashing, and blasting at Baelz furiously.
Meanwhile, Gura squared up against Sana.
"Sorry about this." Sana apologized.
"Sorry about what? You're unarmed!" Gura retorted.
Sana then aimed her hands at a nearby parked car, picking it up seemingly telepathically.
"Ah." Gura sweatdropped, barely able to avoid the car as Sana hurled it at her.
Sana then ripped a chunk out of the road in the same way she had picked up the car.
"I may seem unarmed, but in truth..." the chunk of asphalt shattered into pieces, but remained floating just above her head, "My weapon is gravity."
Sana tossed the pieces of asphalt towards Gura, causing her to stumble backwards to dodge before breaking into a full on sprint, racing to escape as small pieces of the road stung her skin.
At the same time, Amelia and Kronii clashed.
"You..." Kronii glared at Amelia, "I know you."
"Do you?" Amelia countered, her pistol aimed at Kronii.
"Amelia Watson" The Warden of Time stated, glaring at Amelia.
"Your carefree traveling of time has caused entire timelines to change, you've unleashed things upon this timeline that it was never supposed to see."
Amelia frowned at the taller woman's words, "Did me having a little fun really cause that much damage?"
Kronii's expression only got more intense, "I'm going to make sure I don't have to clean up another one of your messes!"
Kronii lunged for Amelia with her blades held firmly in her grasp and, although Amelia moved quickly, she couldn't dodge the attack completely; a long horizontal gash cut through her upper arm.
"Dammit!" Amelia hissed as blood dripped down her arm.
She glanced at her injury briefly, before turning around and firing the entire clip of bullets in her pistol at Kronii.
The Warden simply walked towards Amelia, her eyes gleaming with malice as not a single bullet wound appeared on her body.
"Foolish." Kronii sneered, standing over Amelia "Bullets are worthless against someone who can bend time at will."
With those words, she raised her swords and swung downwards, but they found only concrete.
"Huh!?" Kronii blinked in surprise, turning to see Amelia and Gura were now kneeling mere feet from her, Gura having run in at the last second and pulled Amelia aside.
"Whew, thanks Gura, I owe you one!" Amelia exclaimed with a relieved smile.
"I wouldn't say that just yet!" Gura warned, gesturing towards Sana, who had been hot on the shark's heels.
"Ah shit..." Amelia cursed.
Sana and Kronii slowly approached the pair, Gura standing in front of Amelia with her trident pointed defiantly at her opponents.
"You can still surrender, y'know?" Sana offered, glancing at Amelia and Gura.
"Oh, don't give them mercy, Sana!" Kronii barked, "It's pointless!"
"They didn't know what they were getting into by fighting us, Kronini." Sana insisted, "They deserve mercy."
Kronii sighed heavily, "Fine, if you promise never to call me that stupid nickname again..." she grumbled.
"So you're not going to kill us?" Gura asked, lowering her weapons slightly.
"I suppose not... but-" Kronii suddenly swung the blunt side of her blades forward, catching both girls by surprise, and sending them flying backwards.
Both landed in a groaning heap several yards away from Kronii and Sana.
"I will hurt you." Kronii finished, turning and walking away.
"That was cruel, Kronii!" Sana snapped, hurrying after The Warden.
"You are very lucky I have a soft spot for you, next time I see that time traveler she'll be skewered on the end of my blade!" The Warden of Time spat.
"Now let's find Mumei, she might need help."
"YOU find Meimei, I'm going to find Faufau." Sana huffed.
"Whatever." Kronii called, leaping gracefully onto a nearby building and running across rooftops to find Mumei.
