Emma has been watching the White Kingdom from the distance, sitting outside the house on an upturned wooden crate up the hill overlooking the castle. Emma knows a secret spot to watch comings and goings from the front gate. She loves to watch their handiwork to see if there's any weakness. Emma with a photographic memory and used it to help brothers and sisters in need. She casually glanced down as she practiced her magic while spying on them.

Emma's attention was drawn to several soldiers nearly falling over themselves at the entrance to the castle. Moments later, a tall figure emerged dressed in black as if she is a Queen, but dressed in a black cloak with a hood to cover their hand. Emma scowled and looked up into the heavens. It was a warm, sunny day and there's no clouds in the sky to forecast a weather change, and it wasn't cold either.

"What an idiot," Emma muttered. The tall figure talked with the guards for a few moments. It was when the cane was produced that caught Emma's interest, for a moment she could see her face. It was memorizing. Very slowly as to not arouse suspicion, she tapped the door behind her, where Bae was sitting.

"Bae, come out here."

"Now?"

"Now. I want you to see something."

The door to the house opened, and Bae came out feeling his way with a cane. Emma stood up and offered him her seat while she leaned against the wall. Bae's war injury provided cover for his activities with Enchanted Forest.

"Who is that?" Emma asked with such curiosity and the memory of her face never left her mind. She decided to sit down on a wooden floor and watch the hooded person.

"King Leopold's new wife."

"Who?"

"Clean your ears out. I said, King Leopold's wife. Evil Queen accepted marriage in her stead. As you can see, she's crippled."

"What happened? What is her dress size?" Emma added little teasing.

"I don't know but I am assuming it's something to do with Evil Queen. Besides, I am not partial to whores, so I don't know," Neal replied joking under his breath, making Emma giggle.

"Why did he bring his wife here into a war zone?"

"You're a woman," Bae reminded her as he flanked down and smiled at her.

"I live here, but that doesn't explain why he choose the White Kingdom and brought his wife into this place."

"I don't know why," Bae shrugged.

"She doesn't look like a cripple," Emma muttered, her eyes look sad and doesn't look evil, but moments later rethought her assessment. One of the guards held out a cane that Regina took, "Well, look at that, she is a cripple." She was more surprised when her comment caused Regina to stop at the step momentarily. The guards didn't pay any attention to Emma when she spoke louder than usual. Regina Mills did react, Emma saw it and smiled.

"Emma! Lower your voice!"

Emma smirked, "why are you whispering?"

Bae glanced at Emma in confusion on how she could possibly understand her and then back at Emma, "Ems, I think the sun is getting to you."

"No. My head is fine. She heard and understood me."

"Are you sure?"

"Oh yes, I'm sure," Emma nodded and kept eye on Regina as she finally got down the steps. She spoke to the guards for a moment before they backed away from her and stood behind her. Emma was intrigued by this new arrival, she couldn't stop watching her when Neal suggested to come inside, but she declined. "No, I want to watch the show." She wanted to see her so badly, hoping for a wind. Regina had only taken a few steps. She sat up straighter when she saw a gust of wind by her own magic to see her that causes the wind flip the hood off of Regina's head.

She finds it memorizing by the color and everything about her, "so you do have a face."

Regina's long hair disappeared into her cloak. She was expecting Regina to be blonde, but she wasn't. Her hair is almost black, mixed with brown and black with the barest hint of blue-brown eyes as the sun hit it. Emma was amazed when she was nothing like the Evil Queen. How is it possible she's evil?

Regina stopped as the guards put her hood back on and they resumed their slow journey. Emma followed Regina's tortuous slow walk to where the house ended in the village. Emma muttered to herself, ughhh, who are you, and continued to watch the woman's journey.

"She's for sure not a quitter. That gotta hurt!" Emma couldn't help but be concerned for the woman, she was impressed by the long walk for a cripple. Regina stopped to take a breath. She had said something to her guard and desperately wanted to know what she said, she was whispering. The frustrated Emma kept following her when she resumed her journey.

Emma stopped and sat back down immediately when she saw the king for the first time since he arrived. Emma has no knowledge that man was Snow White's father. He looked large man, in his late fifties. Emma stared at his face as he stood on the landing, waiting for his wife to come to him rather than meet her down the stairs. Emma was angered at that sight, why didn't he come to her instead? Emma caught the sight of Regina's face as she turned. She's sure doesn't seem pleased by this, Emma mused. There was a coldness to him and doesn't show any kindness. He didn't even try to help Regina up the stairs but stood there watching her.

"He's the fucking ass," Emma muttered.

Regina stopped and looked up at Leopold. They changed a few words which Emma couldn't quite decipher. Emma sneered as Regina's journey up the stairs was taking an extraordinary amount of time. "I'm going to turn seventeen by the time the Demon's Spawn reaches the top step," she muttered and got up and went inside the house.

"So, did you enjoy the show?"

"I thought you said you weren't interested in whores?"

"I"m not, but you have to admit she's beautiful."

"Has she reached the top steps yet?"

"Yes."

"We should go outside and give her a gold medal. It should be a sport."

"What is?" Bae turned away from watching Regina walking up the top steps.

"Slow walking," Emma giggled, "My god, that took forever."

"Do you care?"

"Nope," but Bae could easily tell she was denying this.

"What did King Leopold say to her?"

"I don't know," Emma shrugged and sat down at the table. "I couldn't hear, but she doesn't like him very much, that's something I do know."

"It doesn't matter."

Emma pointed out this whole situation is strange, "don't you find it strange that the Evil Queen send King Leopold and his new wife to here, in the White Kingdom? He was always doing her bidding in the dark throne."

"We are going to find out soon enough. We are going to meet one of the top guards of the White Kingdom and maybe he will know. Now, why don't you go home and pretty yourself up a little bit?"

"Huh?" Emma stared at Bae. "What the fuck did you just say?"

"I said go home and wear something nice. Captain Killian Jones is coming tonight, it's a very important meeting."

"Why do I have to pretty myself up and do that thing with my hair?"

Bae sighed, sat back down on the chair, and rested his head on the table, "Ems, please can we not play this game?"

"You're the one who wants me to pretty myself up!"

"Can you just go home and get ready?"

"You need to stop looking for a husband for me, Bae."

"Killian Jones is sweet on you."

"I'm not sweet on him. He's too old and a prev. He kept following me around."

"Yes. Yes, I know. You don't like how old he is, nor his height, you don't like his dark hair or even his eyes."

"I think Satan has blue eyes, he has eyes of the devil!"

"Emma!"

"It's true! Why does he have that special eye for protection?"

Bae sighed deeply again, trying to find another way to convince her, "he wards off evil spirits, Ems."

"See!" Emma exclaimed and slapped her hand on the table, "he's the devil!"

"Oh, Emma, that's ridiculous. If it wards off evil spirits, then how can it be a devil's color? I'm already regretting to ask this question."

"It's simple, my hazel eyes don't go along with his eyes. They cancel each other," Emma replied with a flurry.

"That's ridiculous. Nevermind …" doesn't want to get into this again.

"What's ridiculous is you're are trying to marry me off when I know you're into me, but what's worse …"

"He can't help but be maybe 80 years older than you or whatever his age currently is, Ems."

"Not that, silly."

"If it's not his age, nor his height, his hair color, or eyes, what else is wrong with him?"

"He has a weird accent. He talks about Land Without Magic and speaks like New Yorkers, whatever that is."

"What?!" Bae asked incredulously and started to laugh. He slapped his thigh as the giggles overtook him. "He doesn't have an accent!"

"He traveled to Neverland and went to Land Without Magic."

"So?"

"They have a different accent, they talk weird."

"How do you know? You never met them. You only met Captain Hook."

Emma tries hard to control her anger, "that's enough, Bae!"

"Emma, go home and wear that beautiful dress your mama made for you. We have a business to discuss tonight with him and I want you here!"

"I'm not your fucking wife, Bae! If you want me here then I'll be here as part of the Resistance." Emma was not intimidated by the glare she was getting from Bae. Emma was more interested in the conversation they were going to have about why King Leopold is in town. "When are we going out on that mission you told me about?"

"Not tonight. With King Leopold's arrival, there is also a new batch of Evil Queen's militias arriving tomorrow. That's another reason Captain Hook is coming tomorrow."

"Why can't he send a messenger with the information?"

"He is the messenger. A few other boys will be here as well."

"Where are we meeting?"

"You're asking too many questions, Ems. You'll find out. Now go home and get yourself ready."

"Fuck you," Emma muttered as she raised herself and kissed Bae on the cheek before picking up her bag and leaving the house.
