Sunrise had arrived fast, and Aurora awoke feeling warm and fuzzy wrapped in Vincent's arms. Aurora stayed still for a few moments enjoying the warmth of Vincent in the morning light filtering through the window she eventually stretched her arms upward turning to face Vincent who was still asleep, a smile gracing her face as she gazed upon his handsome features. Aurora then began to snuggle back into Vincent's arms allowing herself to drift back to sleep to his fastening heartbeat.

Aurora woke up again a while later and realized that Vincent had already left the bed she then lazily rolled out of bed and stretched her arms and legs. After stretching she exited the room and went in search of Vincent.

"Mornin' Aurora!" A cheery voice called out from behind her making Aurora turn around to see Clare stepping out of Aurora's room; she was wearing a white tank top and blue shorts.

"A-Ah! Braixen, Braix!" ("Morning Clare!") Aurora greeted her.

"Haha! Good morning sweetie! I hope you slept well!" Clare chirped shortly after leaning into Aurora's ear. "Did you make a move yet...?"

"Um..." Aurora blushed embarrassed

"Why so shy?" Clare teased as Aurora replied with a soft giggle.

Braix Braixen xen… ("Sorry Clare I didn't get a chance...") Aurora apologized with a slight blush

"Aww, It's ok Aurora!" Clare patted Aurora. "You have many chances especially if Vincent agrees to come camping with us..." Clare said, tapping her chin with a finger.

Aurora tilted her head in confusion

"Braixen…?" ("Camping…?")

Clare giggled. "I'm planning on convincing Vincent to come camping with me... If you'll allow me to steal you guys of course."

X-Xen? ("W-Why?") Aurora tilted her head

"I figured it would be nice to show him a good time and help him relax!" Clare smiled. "That's if he wasn't working..." And as if Vincent was listening to the conversation Vincent walked out of his office walking sluggishly toward the duo.

"Oh you two are up, did you guys sleep well?" Vincent innocently questioned

"I did but the main question is... Did you two have a nice night? Tihi~" Clare teased, already noticing the two blushing a deep hue of red.

"W-What do you mean by that!?" Vincent snapped embarrassed.

"Oh relax... I just wanted to know if you had a wonderful night together." Clare smirked chuckling as well

"All we did was sleep together! Nothing wrong with that!" Vincent implied defensively. "Arceus I'm making this worse…" Vincent whispered to himself covering his flushed face with his hands.

Clare laughed. "Well, then I guess I should get ready if I'm heading off today!" Clare said grabbing her things then exited the bedroom.

"Where are you going anyways?" Vincent questioned.

"Oh, camping." Clare simply put.

"Could I possibly come with? I was given a week off work." Both Clare and Aurora's eyes widened.

"Yes! You should! It will be fun!" Clare squealed happily. Aurora grinning ear to ear.

"Alright then! I'll pack up some food and other stuff to take with us. Just holler when you plan on leaving." Vincent said as he retreated into his room leaving Clare and Aurora to themselves in the hallway next to the bathroom.

"So..." Clare grinned mischievously. "Think you can confess within a week Aurora?"

"B-Brai xen Braixen xen…" ("A-As long as Vincent says yes...") Aurora answered hesitantly.

Clare smiled and leaned in whispering into Aurora's ear. "I'll help you out if you need it... After all, I'm like your sister. I have to help out." The two shared a short laugh as they parted ways to finish getting ready.

After finishing getting ready and fixing her fur, Aurora headed downstairs and noticed Vincent at the kitchen table which also had Clare already sitting eating breakfast.

"Hey there you beaut, looking like you're trying to impress a certain someone. ~" Clare greeted the fox with a sly smile as she looked at Vincent for a reaction though he was lost in a book with a cup of coffee.

"Ugh, Vincent notice your babe once in your lonely life." Clare teased as Aurora blushed redder than ever.

Aurora tried her best to ignore Clare's teasing and sat down next to Vincent, plopping her paw on his leg and peering into his confused eyes with desperation.

"S-Sorry did I miss something important?" Vincent densely said, setting his book down and looking into Aurora's crimson eyes resulting in her blushing bright red. Clare chuckled and playfully winked at Aurora causing the purple vixen to blush even more.

"You need to kick it up a notch! Show him you care!" whispered teasing Aurora again as Aurora shook her head in embarrassment.

"W-What are you two talking about...?" Vincent nervously questioned unable to listen to the whispers

"Nothing big... We were just discussing what to do when we get to the campgrounds" Clare explained.

"That would make sense..." Vincent plainly said picking his book back up and putting a free

hand atop Aurora's paw that was resting on his leg shocking her with his unusual manners.

"B-Braixen…?" ("M-Master…?") Aurora gazed into Vincent's emerald greens with her sparkling crimson eyes.

"O-Oh s-shit sorry I shouldn't have d-done that…" Vincent slowly retracted his hand away from Auroras.

"X-Xen, Brai…" ("N-No, wait…") Aurora put her other paw onto Vincent's retreating hand pushing it back on her paw that was still resting on his leg. ("I-I didn't mind…") Aurora's smile gleamed, formulating a blush on Vincent's face, his heart fluttering.

"A-A-Aurora I-" Vicent stuttered before getting cut off by Clare's loud announcing voice startling the two embarrassed bunch.

"Okay! I'm ready, let's go!" Clare cheered, grabbing her backpack and heading toward the front door.

"Hey wait! Where are you going!? I haven't finished packing yet!" Vincent faintly shouted as he stood up.

"Hurry up then lazy bones! You too Aurora pack as well if you haven't already!" Clare yelled from outside the door.

"I hate you sometimes..." Vincent jokingly chuckled as he muttered under his breath before heading upstairs, Aurora trailing behind him with a heavy sigh. As Aurora walked behind him, her tail swayed from side to side as she thought of how she should confess her feelings to Vincent. She was worried that he might reject her, Aurora's heart clenched terrified that she'll lose the only person she's ever loved since the very beginning.

However, Aurora's fears were unfounded; the two soon entered Vincent's room. Aurora watched as Vincent packed an overnight bag with extra clothes for himself. Vincent then went downstairs back into the kitchen finding a picnic basket that he filled with lunch items for the trip.

"Do you want anything else?" Vincent asked, glancing back at Aurora.

("No I'm fine thank you.") Aurora answered politely, sneaking a glance at the picnic basket before following Vincent out of the kitchen toward the front door.

The two exited the house and made their way to the two parked cars. As they walked closer, Vincent paused and turned around.

"Aurora... Could I ask you something?" Vincent asked the fox, her ears perking up.

Aurora's heart jumped into her throat as she awaited Vincent's response. What did he want? Was he going to confess his love for her? Aurora thought.

"When we're camping, what do you think about doing?" Vincent questioned.

Aurora gulped nervously, mentally sighing in disappointment. "U-Um..." Aurora stuttered, not sure what to say.

"Hmmm?" Vincent hummed quizzically

"Uh..." Aurora started to blush deeply. ("I-I don't know...")

"That's fine we do have plenty of time to think about that on the trip after all," Vincent reassured Aurora, patting her on the shoulder reassuringly.

Aurora felt a rush of relief and happiness as she smiled brightly. ("Y-Yeah... That sounds great! Can't wait!") Aurora replied excitedly.

"Good! I'm glad you're both excited!" Clare exclaimed from the trunk of her car. "Now let's go!" Clare cheered leading the group to her car, Clare taking the wheel. "Hey, Vince, can you sit with Aurora in the back? She gets car sick." Clare winked at Aurora who was sitting at the back with a shocked expression.

"Oh, she does? I guess there's a lot I still don't know about you, huh girl? heh-heh." Vincent chuckled as he got into the back seat with Aurora

Once everyone was situated, Clare started the engine and prepared to exit Vincent's driveway.

A few hours had passed and the three were still on the road. Aurora was silently watching the trees speed past, Aurora felt a bit uneasy being in the car so closely with Vincent, but she managed to keep herself calm she then glanced over at Vincent; he was calmly swiping away at his phone reading emails which Aurora thought were business related. His cheeks were colored a rosy pink from the heat of the sun making Aurora's heart swell with joy. Aurora blushed as her thoughts drifted between the previous night's events. Aurora looked down in shame, as she thought of her wasted opportunity the purple vixen pictured herself in his arms as they kissed passionately, their tongues intertwining as they embraced each other in pure bliss and passion. Aurora's breathing grew heavier as she envisioned even further, her body quivering as she imagined his lips moving down to her neck, kissing her collarbone, and slowly lowering his kisses lower and lower, she tightly crossed her legs so she wouldn't lose control especially while being so close to Vincent.

"Hey... Are you doing alright there sweety...?" Vincent's calm voice startled Aurora out of her perverted thoughts. "You look a little bit queasy." Vincent continued with a worried tone.

("I-I-I'm o-ok M-M-Master! J-Just tired i-i-is all...") Aurora panickedly twiddled with her fingers, her eyes glancing back and forth from Vincent's eyes and to her paws.

"If you're tired, you should at least take a nap hunny..." Vincent ensured. "We're probably still pretty far from the campgrounds..."

("O-Ok, M-Master... T-Thank you.") Aurora took a short breath as he slowly nuzzled her head into Vincent's shoulder calmly drifting off to sleep. Clare watched short snippets of the event from the rearview mirror smiling to herself.

"Aww... Look at her... Sleeping so peacefully with her beloved Vincent. ~" Clare teased

"I-I guess her car sickness made her drowsy... Poor girl..." Vincent said somberly as he ran his fingers through her fur. "So how close are we?"

"About an hour or so away I believe," Clare answered as the radio was playing quiet soft music.

"Alright... I might as well rest my eyes, until then, don't kill us, Clare." Vincent joked as he leaned his head atop Aurora's soon drifting off into a slumber himself.

"Like I'll ever..." Clare playfully scoffed as he continued driving letting the two sleep peacefully.

Hours later the trio finally arrived at the campgrounds, parking the car Clare stepped out unloading the camping gear leaving Vince alone with the still-sleeping vixen.

"Hm... Aurora?" Vincent hummed tilting his head slightly as he slowly woke up.

"Hmm?" Aurora mumbled as she opened her eyes slowly, seeing Vincent's face in profile.

"Aurora?" Vincent asked gently, shaking her.

("H-Hi... M-Master") Aurora responded groggily as she rubbed her eyes.

"We're here..." Vincent said quietly.

"O-Oh!" Aurora replied, startled.

Vincent helped Aurora out of the car, closing the door and locking it before he turned to the entrance of the campgrounds. "Alright, let's get started." He said.

"I reserved a spot near a beautiful lake that shouldn't be far..." Clare explained. The group walked through the campsites, past the other campers and tents, following signs leading them to the group camping area. Once they reached the end of the path, Vincent stopped.

"Is this it...?" Vincent questioned looking out over a view of a clear opening along with a lone RV sitting near the edges of the path.

"Oh, they're already here." Clare blankly said.

"Who's here?" Vincent questioned

"Uhm..." Clare paused. "My friends...?" Clare said with hesitance in her voice

"Ugghhh..." Vincent groaned. "Don't tell me you invited that red-haired bastard..." Vincent complained hearing Aurora's soft steps come from behind him hugging him from the side

"Wellll... I did... But! I think you'll like the other two!" Clare giggled

"I hope so..." Vincent sighed looking at the RV wrapping an arm around Aurora and pulling her closer.

"Come on, let's get our stuff unpacked, and then we can go meet them," Clare suggested.

"If you say so..." Vincent mumbled, not sounding so pleased as he followed Clare to where she wanted to unload their bags.

After unpacking miscellaneous items and setting two tents up, the group headed toward the RV. As they approached and entered, an unfamiliar feminine voice called out.

"Heyyyyy! It's my girl Claree!" The girl squealed. She was wearing denim shorts with a yellow crop top with unique designs. Her hair was blonde like Clare's but was short and with teal highlights

"Hello, hello, hello!" Claire chimed in with a smile on her face entering the RV. "It's nice to see you again!"

"Same here! And you too little missy!" the peppy girl said, aiming her eyes toward Aurora who was timidly hiding behind Vincent. "Shy as ever haha! But who's this you're hiding behind?" The girl leaned toward Vincent inspecting him rather uncomfortably.

"This here is my childhood friend Vincent." Clare pointed a flat hand at Vincent as if she was showing him off as ancient art.

"Hey there..." Vincent brought his hand out motioning for a handshake.

"Names Izabelle! But you can just call me Izzy!" Izabelle shook Vincent's hand. "I also see you've already befriended the cute little Aurora hehe!" Izzy smiled at Vincent who looked at Aurora and smiled at himself.

"I guess you can say that... I found her when I was just a boy so I hope we're friends heh-heh..." Vincent nervously chuckled, rubbing the nape of his neck. Aurora buried her muzzle into Vincent's back as a way to show how thankful she is.

"Brai...~" ("Master...~") Aurora gripped her arms around Vincent's waist making him blush and she lightly clawed into his sides making him flinch

"Where're the guys?" Clare's voice piped up speaking to Izabelle in wonder.

"Oh, those two buffoons? They're in the woods looking for some firewood; they'll be back soon." Izzy informed Clare.

"Why are they doing that now?" Clare curiously asked

"Because you said so! And if they don't get that done then you won't let them do anything else hahaha!" Izabelle smiled evilly in a playful manner.

Clare displayed a pouty expression looking at Izabelle with disbelief "I did?" Clare looked at the floor of the RV shuffling her feet. "Huh... I guess I did huh? Tihi.~"

"You sure are one forgetful person Clare..." Vincent said, rubbing his forehead.

.

"So what!? At least I'm fun to be around..." Clare puffed out her cheeks.

"Hehe! You two sure are funny! Anyways while we're waiting for the two, wanna start the preparations for the fire?" Izzy walked past the trio back outside looking at them quizzically.

"Of course!" Clare yelled out following Izabelle out closing the RV door behind her leaving Vincent and Aurora in peace alone.

"Uhm..." Vincent scratched his head before turning his head behind him trying to glance at the vixen who was still clenched onto him. "You wanna go out and help them?" Vincent asked Aurora which made her jump in surprise.

"B-Braixen? Brai..." ("W-Wait what? Oh sure...") Aurora faintly said though she still clung onto Vincent.

"Heh you know we can't go anywhere with you holding onto me." Vincent chuckled, smiling as he teased Aurora.

("O-Oh! S-Sorry Master... You're just so warm...~") Aurora apologized blushing deeply as she held tightly to Vincent.

"It's ok Aurora, I'm used to it now heh-heh," Vincent grinned. Aurora nodded shyly, smiling at Vincent, she then hugged him tighter. "Let's go then." Vincent smiled as he began to walk out of the RV. Aurora followed behind him, slowly removing her grasp as she walked beside him.

"There's the two of you!" Vincent looked up hearing Izzy call out and saw the person he knew he'd dreaded to see: the hothead himself Zeke. Next to Zeke was a tall man and an intimidating Haxorus.

"Fucccckk..." Vincent let out an exasperated breath.

("What's wrong Master?") Aurora stood next to Vincent's side with her arm around his own looking into his emerald eyes making herself flustered upon gazing at them.

"It's that disrespectful punk... Clare wasn't lying when she said she invited him..." Vincent said with a discomforted expression.

("H-Hey don't worry about him M-Master...") Aurora said, trying to soothe Vincent's discomfort.

"I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about you Aurora." Vincent squeezed Aurora's paw in his hand causing her to look at him in worry.

("M-Me?") Aurora gasped

"Yes, you... After the incident at the mall, I've been worried for you since." Vincent said firmly. "I just…" Vincent let out a sigh. "I don't want him to disturb you, Aurora."

Aurora closed her eyes tightly and bowed her head. ("I'm sorry Master...") Aurora apologized.

"No need to apologize Aurora it's not your fault he's so intrigued about 'shinies' or whatever people call them" Vincent mentally gagged when he said shiny. Vincent hated the fact that people like Zeke thought of Pokémon as value. Never once did Vincent think he could earn anything through Aurora and he sure doesn't plan on it anytime soon.

Vincent heard the same groggy voice from the day he took Aurora and Clare out; looking at the voice, he still saw Zeke. "So where is that annoying brat?" Zeke asked with a tone of annoyance.

"C'mon don't be like that, he should be coming out soon," Clare answered.

"Uh-huh, whatever I just wanna see his ugly face," Zeke smirked arrogantly.

"I honestly don't know what's with you these days..." The tall man spoke beside Zeke unimpressed, brushing small wood chippings off the Haxorus blades which was grumbling in response to the man's sentence.

"Well... Let's go face my demons I guess..." Vincent looked into Aurora's crimson eyes with a flat expression but behind the same flat expression, his heart was beating uncontrollably for reasons he wished he didn't know.

("You ok M-Master? You're staring at me funny...") Aurora blushed when she noticed Vincent's pondering eyes gazing into hers, she covered her face with one of her ear tufts of fur in an attempt to hide her flustered self.

"H-Huh? O-Oh uhm yeah let's get this over with..." Vincent said, disregarding his thoughts as he pulled Aurora's paw along with him towards the small crowd of people.

"There you are, Vincent!" Clare called out waving and smiling when she saw Vincent's hand holding Aurora's paw.

"Ah, this is Vincent. I've heard about nice to meet you. I'm Eric." The so-called person named Eric brought his hand out suggesting to shake hands.

"Oh uh... Nice to meet you as well..." Vincent used his free hand to shake Eric's friendly inviting palm

"I see you have a Pokemon of your own, A Braixen, shiny too that's cool," Eric said as he noticed the vixen standing slightly behind Vincent. "Though that Braixen looks exactly like Aurora..."

"T-That's because it is" Vincent confirmed looking back at Aurora's shy red face.

"Well that clears things up," Eric then looked towards his Haxorus. "This here is my partner in crime Drake," Eric said, introducing his Mon. Vincent lightly shivered in place because of the intimidating dragon-type Pokemon Vincent couldn't recall the last time he had seen a dragon type up close. Vincent then ignored his temporary fear-filled thoughts waving at the lanky but bulky Haxorus.

"Evening..." Vincent greeted Drake who replied with a soft grunt

"Sorry he ain't that talkative but either way not like you're gonna understand him haha," Eric explained with a chuckle

"You dweebs done? I want to start this fire already, it's getting cold." Zeke blurted out rubbing his arms with friction hoping to warm himself.

"Yeah yeah let's get going!" Eric agreed as he grabbed a few logs from a nearby pile of wood.

Clare glanced at Vincent who was standing idly after greeting the group. "Are you going to help us out?" Clare asked with a curious expression on her face.

"A-Ah, of course! I'll get right to it!" Vincent gulped down his words as he went to grab a log from the pile. Everyone carried a log with them including Aurora and Drake setting them near the tents in a bonfire set up.

"How much longer will this take? I'm freezing!" Zeke complained with obvious displeasure.

"Shut up Zeke, why do you always gotta complain about everything? It's pretty easy to make a fire isn't it?" Clare bickered as she placed the last few pieces of firewood. "Ok! Now, all we gotta do is light it." Clare looked around before setting her eyes on Aurora with an evil grin.

"H-Huh...?" Aurora realized Clare was staring right at her

"Aurora, ~" Clare tiptoed over to Aurora who was still accompanying Vincent. "You know how you're a fire type and all. ~" Clare said with sweetness in her voice.

"X-Xen..." ("O-Oh...") Aurora bowed as she took out the stick-like wand that was sheathed in her tail Vincent smiled as he watched her polite manners, she then pointed said wand at the stacked-up wood and shot a tiny ember out of the tip lighting the fire.

"Whoa..." Vincent said, amazed. "I forgot you could do that honestly heh-heh, nice going," Vincent said with praise in his voice patting her head while the others lightly clapped.

"B-Brai, B-Braixen..." ("T-Thanks, Master...") Aurora said with a blush.

"Alright!" Izabelle said with a raised voice. "Time for the fun to begin!"

"Ugh really...? Can't we just go to bed?" Zeke complained with a groan.

"It's not a camping trip without doing any campfire activities!" Izabelle explained as she took a seat on a log while Zeke just groaned once again in reply.

"Oooooo what do you have planned this time?" Clare chimed in looking enthusiastic as she too sat down.

"Why of course, scary campfire stories, heheheHAHA..." Izabelle laughed hysterically like a modern-day cartoon villain in front of a background with strikes of lightning.

"B-B-Braix... B-Brai...?" ("S-S-Scary S-Stories...?") Aurora's feet shuffled as she clung to Vincent's arm in desperation. Vincent gazed down into Aurora's crimson eyes with a worried caring smile.

"If you're scared you can head to bed for the night, I won't think any less of you," Vincent whispered still with the same caring smile. Aurora looked up embarrassed before looking at Clare who was winking at her.

("I-I'll be f-fine M-Master! As long you're here to protect me r-right?") Aurora had a pleading gleam in her eyes giving Vincent butterflies in his stomach.

"A-Always, I'll always protect you Aurora..." Vincent smiled before Izabelle called out to them

"Hey, you two get over here! Or are you trying to avoid my awesome story? ~" Izabelle said with a wicked smile as the crowd gathered around the fire.

"Vincent? Yeah, he probably is trying to run off, he's too much of a pussy." Zeke snickered to himself before Eric slapped him behind the head. "Ow! What the hell Eric!?" Zeke barked

"Let's try and be nice, yeah?" Eric smiled innocently as if he didn't do anything wrong

"Heh... Whatever..." Zeke scoffed as he looked at the burning flame

"A-Anyways everyone ready?" Izabelle glanced around at everyone's faces waiting for approval.

About everyone gave an audible 'Yes' giving Izabelle the ok to start her horror-themed campfire story.

"Once upon a time, there was this girl who lived in a big house with her parents and sister..." Izabelle started as the fire began to slightly die down. "She always had this creepy feeling when she was alone in the house, especially in the middle of the night when she couldn't sleep..."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Clare asked curiously as she stared at Izabelle with her brows raised.

"Shh!" Izabelle held her pointer finger to her lips to silence Clare, then continued her 'terrifying tale.' "One day when she was home alone, she felt as if spirits were watching her wherever she was in the house... So she decided to lock herself inside her room."

"Where is this going?" Zeke whined impatiently

"SHHHH!" Izabelle glared at Zeke with a scowl on her face as she kept on with her narration. "The girl went to her room and locked the door with a key she had hidden under her pillow. She then lay on her bed scared thinking about what might happen and how she felt she was being haunted... But deep down inside she knew it was just her mind playing tricks on her..."

"B-But what does she do next?" Clare asked with interest.

"Well, the girl thought that maybe the cold night air would calm her nerves, so she walked over to her window, lifted her blinds, and opened it wide. Immediately afterward she saw something horrifying. Something that she hadn't seen in all her years!" Izabelle exclaimed dramatically.

"What was it?" Eric asked eagerly.

"A giant shadow with glowing red eyes and sharp claws..." Izabelle's eyes widened as she continued with her story. "The girl screamed in fright as the monster slowly crept closer to her. Then suddenly the monster jumped out of nowhere through the window and snatched the girl by her ankle!" The fire lit brighter as Izabelle paused and stared at the audience with their mouths agape Aurora leaned into Vincent's side hiding her face into him. "The girl fell out of her window and hit the ground hard..."

"Then what!?" Clare asked as she looked at Izabelle for an answer.

"She got up quickly and released herself from the monster's grip running through the darkness not being able to see a thing... "Then the monster caught up to her and knocked her down again!" Izabelle shouted.

"And then?" Eric asked in anticipation.

"And then the monster stabbed her with its claws and left her bleeding!" Izabelle gasped out in pain.

("M-Master I d-don't like This") Aurora cried as she covered her ears. Vincent slightly frowned, worried for Aurora.

"It's ok sweetie... It's just a story..." Vincent whispered, wrapping his arm around her thin body and pulling her closer easing her fear.

"The monster stood silently as it watched the girl bleed to death right in front of it... The End!" Izabelle exclaimed, ending her disturbing tale.

"That's it?" Zeke said unimpressed.

"Scary right?" Izabelle said with self-praise.

"No! It wasn't at all! The dumb Braixen was more scared than us combined!" Zeke bickered back.

"We should just leave them be..." Eric said standing up along with his Haxorus and walking up to Clare, Vincent, and Aurora as the two continued to argue

"Agreed..." Vincent and Clare said in unison

"Hey, I think I'm going to head to bed for the night" Clare announced to the quad of people.

"Same here the ride here was pretty tiring," Eric said yawning

"You should do the same you two," Clare said looking over at Vincent and the still-scared vixen

"Y-Yeah we will in a bit just wanna calm Aurora down before bed..." Vincent explained as he brushed his hand against Aurora's cheek

"Alright, we'll see you guys tomorrow." Eric took out a PokéBall from his belt. "Return Drake!" A red beam came out from the PokéBall engulfing the Haxorus, transferring his form into the ball. "Cya!" Eric waved as he walked toward the RV.

"I should do the same, see you two," Clare said, waving goodbye with a sisterly smile and walking to her tent leaving Vincent and Aurora once again alone to themselves.

"Aurora..." Vincent softly spoke as he continued brushing his hand along her soft fur as she shook.

"H-Huh!?" Aurora jumped as she heard her name. ("O-Oh sorry M-Master... I guess I should've gone to bed instead hehe...") Aurora faintly chuckled with sadness in her voice.

"I'm proud of you Aurora," Vincent said as Aurora faintly replied with a curious sound. "Even though you were afraid you bore it long enough for it to be over, making you brave," Vicent said, praising Aurora with reassurance in his voice, making her cheeks flush.

("R-Really Master?") Aurora said uncertainty ("I was brave?")

"Mhmm!" Vincent hummed with a smile admiring Aurora's beautiful fur. "It's getting pretty late," Vincent said as he looked above at the night sky gazing at the stars. "Let's head to bed yeah?" Vincent slightly grasped his hand around Aurora's paws leading her over to the tents.

("O-Ok M-Master.") Aurora nodded as she willingly followed Vincent to his tent. Both entered through the flaps and settled in laying down on their side and covering themselves with a single blanket.

"Uhm..." Vincent stared at the ceiling of the tent with nervousness before slowly moving his eyes over toward Aurora who seemed just as nervous. "G-Goodnight Aurora." Vincent stuttered.

("G-G-Goodnight too you a-as well M-Master.") Aurora looked into Vincent's nervous emerald eyes before smiling as she held out her paw inviting Vincent to take hold of it. ("C-Can you...?") Aurora pleaded with big begging eyes.

"Y-Yeah I c-can." Vincent, accepting her request wrapped his hand around Aurora's paw intertwining his fingers with hers; the contact made it feel as if a Politoed was stuck inside his throat.

("T-Thanks M-Master... I am a fortunate Braixen to have someone like you by my side...") Aurora inched herself closer to Vincent, enough to feel his body heat.

"Honestly I feel as if I'm the lucky one here to meet someone like you... I couldn't imagine a world without you..." Vincent confessed with a blush his words making Aurora flush red.

("W-We'll probably argue about this all night hehe...") Aurora chuckled faintly as she got closer; close enough that their noses were almost touching.

"M-Maybe..." Vincent smiled as Aurora closed her eyes.

("I'm tired, Master... Is it alright if I go to sleep...?")

"It's always alright Aurora... You're free to do whatever you want without my permission... I don't own you or anything like that..."

("T-Thanks Master... I...") Aurora paused before speaking up again. ("I love you, Master...") Aurora said as she drifted off to sleep.

"I love you too Aurora..." Vincent smiled as he used his free hand to pet Aurora's cheek; he then shifted his body around in a more suitable possession without waking her up, staring at her peaceful sleeping state and smiling at himself.

Hours passed and the tent was quiet except for Aurora's gentle breathing and Vincent's silent breath. Aurora's body was still covered by the blanket while Vincent lay beside her sleeping peaceful state. Vincent on the other hand was still up, his mind was far away from sleep, his eyes closed as he kept pondering on what Aurora meant when she stated she loved him... She didn't mean anything by it... Right?

Aurora turned over in her sleep causing Vincent to panic slightly. His eyes opened lazily and he stared at the Vixen with admiration. Aurora partially climbed atop Vincent; her warm body heating Vincent's side with her crimson eyes slowly opening as they fixed on him. Aurora's cute face had a slight blush of excitement that caused Vincent's heart to skip beats though no words were said, a magical scene formulated in his eyes.

"Aurora?" Vincent asked in curiosity, breaking the silence as Aurora crawled closer to Vincent. "Aurora what are you doing up?" Vincent asked with concern as Aurora wrapped her arms around him and her tail draped around his legs.

("I should be asking you, Master... Hehe... ~") Aurora finally spoke giggling as she nuzzled into Vincent's neck.

"W-Well..." Vincent blushed as he put his arms around Aurora's small waist, unable to resist her alluring aura. "D-Don't worry about me, y-you need your rest."

"Nuh uh..." Aurora disagreed as she pressed her body tightly against his. ("What kind of Braixen would I be if I didn't worry about my Master?~") Aurora said as she fully lay atop Vincent straddling his lap.

"A-Aurora..." Vincent looked up into Aurora's crimson eyes and saw a pleading look in them.

"Mmmm…~" Aurora breathed out a sigh as she hugged Vincent tighter against her furred body, waving her tail around seductively, uncontrollably hitting Vincent's face lightly, smacking him.

"Aurora what are-" Vincent tried to speak but Aurora shushed him with a finger on his lips.

"Shhh..." ("I just wanna be with my loving Master…") Aurora said slyly

"A-All ri-right..." Vincent smiled nervously as he leaned toward Aurora, lightly kissing her on the forehead.

("Thank you, Master...") Aurora said with a smile as she pulled back her snout away from Vincent's neck to lock eyes with Vincent in lust.

Vincent absent-mindedly brought a hand from her waist up her cheek to caress her soft white fur.

("I love it when you touch me Master…~ Please… Mmmm…~ D-Don't stop…~") Aurora faintly moaned into Vincent's ear forming a deep red hue blush on VIncent's face as her tail twitched awkwardly enjoying the sensation of Vincent's palm.

"Uh-Uhm sorry for stopping but…" Vincent paused his strokes which made Aurora pout slightly. "Why exactly do you… Call me Master…?" Vincent questioned as he stared at Aurora's processing face which soon turned into a soft caring smile.

("It's simple really… Tihi…~) Aurora giggled as she sat up. ("Because ever since you saved me back then I wanted to devote my life to you hence makes Master my owner… I promised myself I would repay my handsome loving Master.~ Though I have yet to show Master what I could do for him… I hope Master could be patient with me until then…~")

Vincent was bewildered, he was stuck trying to decipher her meaningful words as he gazed at her nervous smile.

"B-But Aurora… I don't own you, I would feel terrible if I used you as some tool…" Vincent lowered his gaze downwards to Aurora's chest watching it raise and lower with every breath she took.

("Silly Master… I gave myself to you which means you may do whatever you please, I'll never think less of Master if so…~") Aurora sweetly said as she once again lowered herself onto Vincent snuggling into his body.

"Don't think that way Aurora… You're your own person please remember that don't make you seem any less than that." Vincent held Aurora's lithe body close as he stroked the soft fur on her back.

Vincent waited for a response but never received one. Vincent's curiosity was eating him so he tried his best to steal a glance at her burrowed face realizing she peacefully fell asleep.

"Oh, Aurora… What am I gonna do with you…" Vincent whispered to himself as he laid his head back down, closing his eyes as he enjoyed Aurora's embrace slowly drifting to sleep himself.

(Next Morning)

The next morning Aurora woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sun shining brightly.

Aurora sat up and yawned stretching her arms and legs she noticed Vincent already awake with his eyes open staring right at her

"Morning Aurora," Vincent said in a sleepy tone.

("M-M-Morning Master.") Aurora replied as she smiled at Vincent. ("S-Sorry for acting that way l-last night...") Aurora's smile faded as she apologized.

"Sorry for what? You didn't do anything wrong." Vincent said as he sat up

("Th-That's not what I mean... S-Sometimes I get overly excited a-and I just let my emotions take over...") Aurora said embarrassed. ("B-But it's only when I'm around you and no one else...") Aurora continued explaining her growing embarrassment.

"I-Its fine Aurora... I'm kinda the same... In a way..." Vincent reassured the shy Vixen.

("I-I'm sorry for disappointing you...") Aurora apologized once again.

"Oh no Aurora you did nothing wrong... I'm just happy to see whatever makes you smile..." Vincent smiled as he embraced Aurora.

("F-Forgive me for being so forward...") Aurora said as she rested her head against Vincent's chest.

"Don't worry about that Aurora..." Vincent continued to caress Aurora's fur.

("Thank you, Master...") Aurora relaxed into Vincent's arms as she closed her eyes content with the comforting warmth of his arms.

"So are you feeling any better now Aurora?" Vincent asked as he stroked Aurora's fur and she gently rubbed his back.

("I am much better now thanks to you, Master.") Aurora smiled as she looked up at Vincent.

"Good... We should see if the others are up..." Vincent said as he loosened his grip

("Do we have to? Can't we just stay like this...") Aurora asked as she leaned her head on Vincent's shoulder.

"As much as I would want to, we should eat something first," Vincent said as he got up and stretched

("I know but I'd rather spend time with you... Like this.") Aurora mumbled as she looked up at Vincent with puppy dog eyes.

"U-Uh..." Vincent blushed red as he was lost in Aurora's eyes. "I-I would t-too but... We can't make the others wait; p-plus I think Clare has something planned today..." Vincent said, averting his eyes, still flustered.

("Ok... If we have to...") Aurora then sat up and followed Vincent out of the tent immediately getting hit by the bright sun

"Ow, that's bright..." Vincent fluttered his eyes so he could adjust to the bright surroundings

"Hey you two,~" Vincent turned his head to the familiar voice spotting Clare. "How was your night Vincent? Anything... Special?~" Clare jokingly teased as she walked over to them

"I'm scared to ask what you mean by that..." Vincent hesitantly said as he put a hand over his face in embarrassment.

"Oh come on Vincent! You know what I'm talking about! It's not like you always get a chance to cuddle with your dear Aurora, Tihi. ~" Clare giggled as she brought her main attention over to the fidgety vixen. "So... How about you? Made any moves yet?" Clare lowered her voice in a whisper just in case Vincent overhears.

"X-Xen…?" ("K-Kinda…?") Aurora lowered her head in defeat as her ears drooped down.

"Where's your confidence? Remember what I told you before I dropped you off with Vincent?" Clare glanced back at Vincent who had a dumbfounded face the whole time while they talked.

"B-Brai Braixen, Xen Braix..." ("E-Even if he rejects me, he won't think any less of me...")

"Good girl! ~" Clare sweetly said as he patted Aurora's head effortlessly, increasing her mood.

Aurora afterward locked eyes with Vincent's pondering emerald pearls instantly feeling flustered when he smiled as he noticed the vixen's curious stare.

"Hey! You three! I got breakfast ready!" Aurora jumped when Izabelle yelled across the campground waving an arm toward the trio.

"Coming!" Clare waved back letting Izabelle know she retrieved her message. "We'll talk more later ok? Let's at least get some food in our systems." Aurora nodded as she watched Clare walk up toward the other half of the group greeting her friends.

"Ready?" Vincent said as he stepped closer to Aurora offering his hand.

"Mhmm!" Aurora hummed as she joyfully wrapped her arms around Vincent's arm. Vincent led Aurora over to the defused fire pit where everyone else was sitting eating and chatting about random things.

"Heya you cuties!" greeted them as she handed over plates filled with various foods.

"Thanks for preparing this Izzy!" Clare said as she took a plate of food as well.

"My pleasure," Izabelle said as she gave a soft smile.

"Here you go, my little girl.~" Aurora took some food from Clare with a smile on her face.

"Braixen, Xen..." ("Thank you, Clare...")

Clare smiled at Aurora as she took a seat next to Vincent watching them chat away in their own little world.

"They're pretty close, huh?" Izabelle said, looking over to Clare.

"Indeed, they are tihi.~ Sometimes I get jealous just by looking at them. So perfect for each other..." Clare whispered her last sentence as she dove into fantasies of the two giggling to herself.

"Anyways..." Izabelle slowly said, ignoring Clare's behavior. "What's next on the list of our awesome camping trip?" Izabelle asked with excitement.

"Well after breakfast I was thinking we could explore the forest for a bit or maybe go swimming in the lake or river," Clare suggested.

"Hm, I prefer swimming but I guess exploring is fun too.~" Izabelle thought as she looked over toward the opening of the woods.

"Sounds good, we can plan it all out after we finish eating. For now, let's eat up!" Clare cheerily called as she began eating her food.

"Yeah, let's eat!~" Izabelle agreed as she continued eating her food. Meanwhile, Aurora continued to enjoy her delicious meal as she ate her scrambled eggs, meat, and fresh berries. She also enjoyed the company of her master.

"Hey, Aurora..." Vincent began to speak, spooking Aurora. "Is this your first time camping?" Vincent questioned, gazing into Aurora's wondering eyes waiting as he watched her silent thinking face.

("I-I believe so, I haven't really been anywhere when I was living with Clare... I mostly stayed home...") Aurora brushed her paws through her fur-like skirt smoothing out any rouged strands of fur.

"Well... Since I have a week off we can go anywhere you'll like if anything seems interesting enough..." Vincent brushed loose strands of hair away from his eyes as he awkwardly retracted his gaze away from Aurora, blushing at the thought of last night's events.

("I-I'll l-like that Master!") Aurora beamed as she placed her empty plate on the ground so she could snuggle into Vincent's side resulting in his blush darkening. Vincent then hesitantly turned his head to face Aurora instantly feeling weak in his stomach as he admired her glistening fur. After a while, Izabelle stood up and stretched before announcing to the group what she and Clare had planned.

"If all y'all are done eating I was thinking we could explore the woods for a bit and go swimming if you guys wanted to. That sounds fun, right?" Izabelle said as she looked around, meeting everyone's faces and making sure she had their attention.

"Hiking? Sounds fun." Eric said as he walked toward Izabelle and Clare. "Zeke?" Eric turned around waiting for Zeke's thoughts.

"Sure, whatever..." Zeke silently said as he picked at his hands.

"Alrighty then! The three of us will lead the way so follow closely and don't lose sight of us!" Izabelle said happily smiling as she dragged Clare's arm and headed towards an opening into the forest.

The group followed behind Izabelle and Clare as they entered the forest which had varying types of trees of all different sizes and shapes. There were also bushes of every color and shape imaginable.

"Wow... This place is beautiful" Eric exclaimed as she looked around in awe.

"Indeed it is, we'll probably end up here for hours just looking around!" Clare remarked as she looked around the area with a smile on her face.

("Master... Do you think we'll run into any dangerous Pokémon...?") Aurora asked as she shifted closer to Vincent as they walked at the back of the group.

"Probably not since I don't think they'll want to be seen... But if so I think Eric has us covered and if not... I'll try my best to protect you Aurora." Vincent said with a confident grin

("Thank you, Master...") Aurora smiled as she looked up at Vincent.

"Ugh, dude you're so sappy..." Zeke groaned from behind the two as he scrolled through his phone.

"Sorry?" Vincent turned his head around facing Zeke's unamused mug.

"Nothing, just calling you a freak." Zeke snorted as he walked ahead catching up with his friends

"Honestly, I don't know what's his deal with me..." Vincent whispered as he held his head in annoyance.

Shortly after walking for about ten minutes, the group came across a small clearing with a large pond in the center surrounded by thick green grass and trees. As they approached the pond, Izabelle stopped and pointed toward the water.

"There's the lake! It's huge compared to the one back in town..." Izabelle said excitedly as she shortly ran toward the edge of the pond.

"Shouldn't we change first...?" Zeke asked, looking at the two excited women.

"Fair point," Eric chimed in. "Hey, you two, let's head back before jumping in, yeah?"

"Huh?" Clare hummed as she looked at Eric. "Oh yeah you're right we should change..."

"I'll meet you there alright? Let's go, Zeke." Eric practically dragged Zeke back to the campgrounds as he walked back into the woods.

"Wait Vincent did you pack any swimwear?" Clare tilted her head as she spoke to Vincent.

"Uhh... No..." Vincent bit his tongue as he watched Clare facepalm.

"Sorry, that's my fault for not telling you... Can you stay here then? Just in case something wanders in?" Clare said, looking at Vincent with begging eyes.

"Yeah sure... Don't got anything better to do anyways, I'll see you in a bit." Vincent waved off Clare as he watched her walk off with Izabelle into the woods leaving him alone with Aurora. "Wanna... Sit by the water?" Vincent asked quietly nervously focusing his eyes on the silent vixen.

("T-That would b-be nice...") Aurora said as she inched closer to Vincent as he guided them over to the lake. The duo then sat down near the edge of the lake watching the water ripple gently Vincent took off his foot ware in the process.

"So..." Vincent began after a few moments of silence. "How'd you sleep last night?" He asked curiously trying to ease himself into a conversation.

Aurora giggled softly as she turned her head toward Vincent with a bright smile. ("I-I slept v-very well, thank you...") Aurora replied softly as she stared at Vincent. Vincent's breath caught in his throat as he gazed at Aurora's face. Her crimson eyes shined beautifully as they focused on his emerald orbs.

"T-That's good..." Vincent stuttered as he watched her gleaming eyes.

"Y-Your eyes are... So pretty..." Aurora complimented shyly with a grin as she looked into Vincent's eyes.

Vincent felt his cheeks burn slightly as he saw Aurora's adorable smile.

"T-They aren't that s-special..." Vincent said as he looked away from Aurora trying to hide his bright red face with a single hand.

("B-But they're special to me!") Aurora's heart skipped a beat as she felt her chest tighten with emotion.

"A-Ahaha, th-thanks..." Vincent said as he coughed out a laugh awkwardly trying to ignore Aurora's burning gaze. "You know..." Vincent began to speak as he glanced at Aurora who was still staring at him in wonder. "Y-You have some b-beautiful eyes yourself..." Vincent flushed as he bit his lip trying to keep his head from not blowing up in embarrassment.

("Th-Thank you.") Aurora giggled warmly as she reached up her paw and caressed Vincent's cheek with her index finger.

Vincent's breath was once again stuck in his throat as he stared into Aurora's mesmerizing eyes. He could feel his body heating up with excitement as Aurora lightly rubbed his cheek with her finger.

("Y-Your cheek is really warm Master... Hopefully, you're not sick...") Aurora thought as she glanced down at Vincent who was beginning to sweat in embarrassment.

"I'm f-fine but thanks f-for a-asking," Vincent said as he wiped his brow with his free hand. Suddenly Izabelle and Clare popped out from the woods with the guys following from behind in proper swimwear.

"Oh! You two look so cute together!" Izabelle said noticing how close Aurora and Vincent were. She happily grinned ear to ear as she walked up to Vincent and Aurora with a bright smile. "Ooh, I wanna take a picture!"

"E-Eh!?" Vincent was shocked as a camera flash came from behind startling Aurora. Clare giggled as she watched Izabelle capture Vincent's and Aurora's moment.

"Here you go... This is perfect!" Izabelle said happily as she handed her phone to Clare who quickly took a glance at the image.

"Yes! Perfect! It's so cute. ~" Clare said smiling as she took the phone from Izabelle. "I'm gonna have so much fun teasing Vincent with this!" Clare giggled excitedly as she handed back Izabelle's phone. "Make sure you send it to me ok?" Clare politely asked.

"Don't worry I'll send it right now hehe.~" Izabelle said as she tapped her phone. Clare nodded as she walked away from Izabelle and ran into the lake jumping in and purposely splashing Vincent and Aurora with the clear blue water.

"Wow... Thanks, Clare..." Vincent unimpressed said as he wiped the water droplets off his face while Aurora groaned in displeasure.

"Hey don't complain, you two are coming in whether you like it or not!

"Pfft, like that dweeb would ever jump in that cold ass water!" Zeke smirked as he slowly walked into the water with Eric who smacked the back of his head

"Come on in Aurora! The water doesn't bite!" Clare yelled laughing as she dunked herself under the water with a splash.

("Master... I... I'm scared of the water…") Aurora said timidly as she looked at the lake.

"Stop being a little princess and get in already!" Clare swam closer to Aurora and took a hold of her arm.

"B-Brai!" Aurora held on to Vincent with all her might but despite her efforts, Clare threw her into the water dragging Vincent with her.

"Oh, Shi-!" Before Vincent could finish curing both he and Aurora were fully submerged in the water.

"Hahaha!" Clare laughed as she pulled Aurora out from the water. "Don't be scared... The water won't hurt you." Claire teased as she held Aurora's arms propping her up.

("C-Clare...") Aurora said nervously as she looked up at Clare's face.

"Think about the bright side! You can get closer to Vince.~" Clare continued her teasing and laughed when Aurora steamed a bright red. Soon Vincent finally broke through from below the water taking a deep breath when he stood up.

"Jeez, Clare, are you crazy!? I wasn't even ready yet!" Vincent protested angrily as he glared at Clare. "Also, don't pull Aurora into the water like that!"

"Oh, come on she's fiiiinne, see?" Clare turned Aurora around, so she was facing Vincent.

"You probably scared her half to death..." Vincent said as he brushed his drenched bangs away from his eyes

"Nuh-uh! I didn't scare her!" Clare argued back.

"That's not true. She's shivering." Vincent said calmly as he observed Aurora's shaking body.

"That's because she's cold and besides, I'm done teasing her for now," Clare said smiling as she pushed Aurora toward Vincent.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Vincent cried out as he tried to stop Clare but Clare was too quick for him as she was already splashing Izabelle.

("Master…") Aurora whimpered as she looked up at Vincent.

"Phew... Sorry about that, you alright?" Vincent sighed.

("Y-Yeah was just startled was all") Aurora answered as she took a step back from Vincent.

Vincent smiled slightly and held his hand out to Aurora who tentatively touched her fingers to Vincent's hand.

As Aurora timidly grasped Vincent's hand, she felt a sudden warmth radiating from his hand. As her eyes met Vincent's emerald orbs, Aurora shivered in amazement at the feeling she was receiving from him.

"We might as well try to get used to the water since we're already soaking wet..." Vincent said with a nervous smile as he looked down at Aurora who was still holding onto his hand. Slowly Vincent brought Aurora along with him toward the deeper end of the lake.

("Th-This feels weird...") Aurora murmured as her fangs lightly chattered in fear.

"It's fine, just give it time," Vincent reassured as he let go of Aurora's hand and dove into the water himself.

("W-What are you doing!?") Aurora shrieked as she covered her mouth with her paw as she stepped back in shock.

Vincent then resurfaced from the water with his arms spread wide as he leaned forward.

"See? It's fine, just come on in." Vincent said as he beckoned Aurora toward him.

("S-Still...") Aurora swallowed nervously as she looked up at Vincent's gentle green eyes.

She had never been in such a large body of water before and the idea of going underwater was terrifying especially considering how cold it was. However, the warmth she felt from Vincent's hand made her want to trust him, so Aurora took a deep breath and dove into the water.

The water surrounding her was so cold that it instantly froze her body making her internally gasp as it began to turn numb. She quickly kicked her legs kicking up a small wave as she swam towards Vincent who was standing upright with his arms outstretched. When Aurora approached Vincent, she felt his hand grab hers and bring her close to him. She gasped as she felt his body heat radiate into her freezing fur.

"How was it?" Vincent asked quietly as he wrapped his arms around Aurora's petite frame.

("Cold... But also... Warm...?") Aurora replied quietly as she buried her face into Vincent's chest.

"Really? That's good I guess..." Vincent said as he gave Aurora an awkward pat on the back.

("Y-You should put your arms around me more... It'd be warmer...") Aurora suggested timidly.

"Alright…?" Vincent said hesitantly as he wrapped his arms around Aurora and pulled her close to his chest.

("I told you, it would be warm,") Aurora whispered as she nuzzled her head against Vincent's chest.

For a moment, Aurora closed her eyes, relishing the warmth that surrounded her. Though soon their moment was cut short since Clare swam over splashing water over their faces.

"Stop being lovey-dovey, you can do that when we get back!" Clare teased

"W-What?" Vincent's face heated up as he put space between himself and Aurora. "D-Don't joke about th-that..." Vincent said while slowly stealing a glance at the blushing vixen.

"Who said I was joking?~" Clare said as she continued to tease but before Vincent could say anything back Clare pulled him and Aurora toward the group. "C'mon! We're here for a reason, let's have some fun!~" Clare exclaimed.

After multiple hours of swimming and activities, everyone was finished and went to the shore where the group rested on a patch of grass so they could catch their bearings.

"So did you have fun today?" Clare asked Aurora as she brought a towel over her wet fur sitting down on a nearby rock with Izabelle next to her.

("Y-Yeah...") Aurora replied timidly as she looked down at the ground. Clare smiled warmly at Aurora who was staring at her paws.

"Good, I mean I hope you did. I know you haven't gone out lately..." Clare tapped her fingers together in shame.

("I-It's alright! I understand your situation...") Aurora said, looking at Clare with forgiving eyes.

"So you guys wanna head back? Not much to do here..." Izabelle said as she yawned.

"Yeah let's go," Clare said as she stood up with the towel and stretched. Soon everyone departed back to the campgrounds except Vincent who was sitting alone gazing off into the distance.

("Master...?") Aurora walked up beside Vincent; it seemed he was lost in thought.

"...Huh?" Vincent snapped out of his daze and looked over at Aurora. "Oh, uh I'm sorry... I got distracted by that lone Bunnelby over there..." Vincent somberly said with a pointed finger across the lake. "Kinda reminds me of the day we found you... I remember how happy I was when you were back in full health." Vincent gave Aurora a small grin.

("Is something wrong?") Aurora curiously asked as she looked at Vincent's expression.

"N-No just... Reminiscing I guess..." Vincent spoke softly.

("Well if you need someone to talk to I'm always here for you. Just ask me.") Aurora said with a rarely determined tone as she offered her paw which Vincent gladly accepted and pulled himself up. Aurora looked at Vincent and smiled sweetly as she gently stroked Vincent's cheek. ("Also Master... Not to alarm you but... I think the others left us already...") Aurora said as she turned around back to where Clare and her friends were

"Course they did... Ugh, let's get going before it gets dark." Vincent groaned as he took Aurora along with him through the woods back to the campgrounds. Soon the two of them arrived at the campsite as the sky was starting to grow dim.

"Oh there's the two of you, finally done smooching?~" Clare teased as she welcomed Vincent back

"What the hell...!? W-We weren't d-doing anything Clare, why do you always gotta make it so weird..."

"Because you're a pervert and you're always thinking dirty thoughts." Clare teased as she pouted at Vincent. "Plus I've seen the ways you've been looking at my little fox girl...~" Vincent groaned in embarrassment and took a step back slowly looking at Aurora who was blushing and had her ears perked up meaning she probably heard every word Clare said.

("M-M-Master...?") Aurora timidly said as she gripped Vincent's hand desperately looking into his eyes.

"D-Don't listen to h-her s-she's just joking..." Aurora's ears drooped as if that wasn't what she wanted Vincent to say

("O-Oh...") Aurora lowered her gaze so she was staring at her feet

"I-Is something wrong...?" Vincent quired as he put his fingers underneath Aurora's chin lifting it so he could inspect his gaze into her troubled eyes.

"U-Uhm...!" Aurora blushed deep red hues feeling queasy from Vincent's caring nature, something to this day she still loved about him.

"Jeez, you two look like you're about to kiss hehe.~" Vincent retracted his hand in embarrassment becoming a nervous mess as he tried to defend himself.

"W-What!? H-Hey n-no what did I say about t-that... Cut it out a-already..." Vincent buried his face into his palms too nervous to look at Aurora scared she'll think wrong of him.

("I-I wouldn't mind if my M-Master wanted to k-kiss me...~") Aurora slyly confessed with a flirtatious tone as her tail wagged a little too excitably.

"Wh-What!?" Vincent exclaimed in surprise as he shot his eyes at Aurora who was now standing right in front of his gaze. Vincent watched her tail sway; he was scared, confused, and excited all at the same time. "A-Aurora I-I…Err... Uhm…" Vincent stammered on his words unsure of what he should say as he stared at the vixen's alluring gaze. Silently Aurora's and Vincent's eyes were stuck on each other since both were too embarrassed to say anything. After a few moments it seemed as if Aurora wanted to say something as her mouth opened agape, though before any syllable could be spoken, Clare shook them out of their trance with an obnoxious voice.

"I just realized something! You never fully introduced yourself to the guys Vince!" Clare exclaimed as she tried resting her arm on Vincent's shoulder but to no avail because of his taller figure.

"I-Isn't my name enough?" Vincent said looking down at his hands which were still shaking from embarrassment and the strange excitement he felt.

"Well yeah it could be enough but they should know more about my childhood friend don't ya think?" Vincent only shrugged in reply uneasy about the idea of sharing any personal information. "Oh don't be a wimp I'm sure they'll be fine sharing a little more about themselves as well… It's not like we're telling them our personal lives or anything." Clare laughed as she nudged Vincent into going along with Clare's suggestion.

"Alright... fine..." Vincent reluctantly agreed as he got dragged toward the currently still being built fire.

"Oh, hey you three," Eric called out waving toward the approaching trio of misfits.

"How we doin' over here you guys?" Clare asked with gusto.

"Just about done..." Eric said as he set a log leaning perfectly onto another log. "We only need to light it up now." Eric wiped some sweat off his forehead as he looked over to the purple-fur fire type. Aurora flinched as she noticed she was being stared at but she soon sighed with a nod already knowing what Eric was asking.

"Thank you, sweety.~" Clare praised as Aurora drew her stick from her tail, the friction lighting the tip immediately shooting a bright ember from the flame. Aurora turned to look at Vincent, watching his smile of approval her heart skipped a beat. Soon Izabelle and Zeke stepped out of their RV bringing out what seemed like ingredients and supplies for s'mores.

"Ah! Thank you, Eric, for getting the fire started now we can start snacking on some classic s'mores!" Izabelle cried out as she sat down on a log.

"Yay! S'mores!" Clare cheered happily like a young kid as she ran over to where Izabelle was sitting snagging a marshmallow for herself and handing Aurora one. Meanwhile, Clare's friends watched on with amusement. Vincent on the other hand was watching Aurora closely as she was cooking the s'more. He couldn't help but stare at her slender body as she held the stick and moved the embers around in circles until they caught fire. Her slim waist and unnatural long legs were something Vincent strangely caught eye of. As he gazed upon her form he realized she was staring back at him and broke away from his gaze.

"S-Sorry..." Vincent said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

("No it's alright... I shouldn't have been staring either...") Aurora replied shyly soon mischievously grinning.

"Soothf Vimvent," Clare started speaking with her mouth stuffed before swallowing and talking again. "Why don't you share a little more about yourself?" Clare said with a wink.

"Ooooo! Yes please do! We don't know much about you after all!" Izabelle chimed in excitedly.

"W-Well there isn't much to say really... I am just the same as any other guy..." Vincent began hesitantly.

"Pfft, bullshit!" Clare and Izabelle shouted in unison causing Vincent to flinch from the sudden outburst. The rest of the group stared at the two girls and Vincent as they laughed at what happened.

"You're not just 'any other guy' you're Vincent, the coolest person I know! So let them hear some juicy details!" Clare said as she picked up a piece of graham cracker.

"Alright, I guess I'll start with where I grew up, Longmeadow..." Vincent said as he looked over to Aurora who was sitting down in front of him. She quickly leaned forward on her knees as if she was eager to hear more. "It's a small secluded town with little to do. I had a boring life running errands and doing odd jobs around the town doing what my parents asked of me but my parents were great people. They raised me well and taught me how to be strong and wise like they were." Vincent cleared his throat as he turned his attention back to his campfire as he continued to tell his story. "Though during one of my errands I meet Clare causing mischief around town pulling pranks on our neighbors. Soon we became good friends and we've been friends since causing trouble and going out on all kinds of adventures." Vincent said as he looked back at Aurora. She was listening intently to Vincent's story.

"Wow, you sure have some history together huh?" Eric said, scratching his cheek. "Though I am curious about how you meet Aurora... It's not like everyone owns a shiny Braixen." Eric said with curiosity as he leaned in with interest.

"Well during one of our adventures we heard small injured whimpers... It was heartbreaking honestly... We knew that we had to save that poor creature... That's when I saw Aurora for the first time... Weak and battered from whatever Pokemon she came across, and I know it's the cycle of nature but I still can't help myself but be angry at whatever injured her..." Vincent clinched his fist as he narrowed his eyes. "A-Anyways me and Clare rushed her to the nearest Pokecenter restoring her to full health... Though..." Vincent slouched as he continued. "My parents found out about my weekend activities and forced me to move away... I haven't seen them since until a few months ago heh-heh..." Vincent nervously chuckled.

"That sucks man... Your parents must've been real assholes." Eric commented with sympathy in his voice.

"Yeah, they were... My father especially... He was extremely strict and always told me to follow the rules... Even if they were stupid and pointless..." Vincent added sadly. "B-But they're good people o-once you get to know them!" Vincent stammered trying to defend his parents.

"I beg to differ..." Clare mumbled

"S-Sure they may not be like your traditional parents, but I still love them so..." Vincent drifted his eyes over Aurora's sympathetic expression resulting in a grin on his face.

"Hahaha, you sure love your parents huh? ~" Izabelle laughed as she clapped her hands.

"Alright well thank you for sharing, Vincent," Eric said as he stood up from his spot on the log. "Now, let's eat these delicious s'mores shall we!?" Eric said enthusiastically as he stepped toward the fire smoking another marshmallow.

"How about you Eric? What was your childhood like?" Clare asked as she placed her marshmallow on top of another one.

"Pretty much the same as anyone's... I had a normal family and a pretty ordinary life. I mean I had a couple of friends, but nothing special," Eric answered nonchalantly as he took a big bite out of his prepared s'more.

"Well alright then, I guess it's my turn now..." Izabelle said, speaking up. "So, I grew up in a small village called Maple Town with my mother and father. They were natural Pokemon trainers! I used to play in fields with pokemon of my own while my mom was always busy cooking or my dad was working in the office, I spent most of my time with my Pokémon playing and training. That's why I'm so skilled at using them in battle!" Izabelle boasted proudly as she waved her arms around.

"Oh, you have Pokemon?" Vincent was surprised by Izabelle's claim.

"Of course!" Izabelle said eagerly. "I trained them almost every day and they are the best!"

"Did you leave them home again?" Clare questioned chiming in.

"Hehe… Yeah, my parents love their company so I leave them at home so they don't feel lonely when I'm away.

"So... Zeke..." Eric slowly spoke. "Tell Vincent a little about yourself, It's only fair after all," Eric said as he smiled worryingly at Zeke.

"Pfft, like hell I'll tell this cuck anything about me..." Zeke barked as he stared into the flames.

"I'll tell him about your-" Eric started but immediately got cut off by Zeke's loud panicked voice.

"E-Ey! A-Alright alright! I'll tell him at least something! Just don't fucking say anything..." Zeke audibly sighed visibly annoyed while Vincent raised an eyebrow curious about whatever Zeke didn't want publicly announced. "Okay, so um... I was born in a small town on the outskirts of Mauville City called Celestic Town." Zeke said in a stern tone as he stared down at the ground avoiding eye contact with anyone. "I have a large family of siblings... You know the usual..." Zeke said, sounding uncomfortable. "Could I be done now...?" Zeke groaned as he looked over to Eric.

"Yeah-Yeah sure, at least you shared something," Eric said, smiling reassuringly. "By the way what time is it?" Eric asked while Izabelle checked her phone.

"What!? It's almost midnight already!?" Izabelle exclaimed, waking herself from her food coma.

"That late already...?" Vincent softly said as he started into the infinite starry sky.

"Well, we better head off to bed soon, it's pretty dark out," Eric said as he stretched his arms out.

"Alright I guess we should go too; I had fun today though," Clare said as she turned to walk to her tent waving bye to Vincent and Aurora.

"Goodnight, Aurora, and Vincent!" Clare said cheerily.

"Night Clare," Vincent said with a wave.

"See ya tomorrow!" Izabelle said as she waved goodbye returning to her RV with Eric and Zeke.

Aurora and Vincent watched as the foursome waved goodnight. Once they disappeared into their respective sleeping quarters silence fell upon the area. The remaining members watched each other awkwardly, thinking about last night's occurrence. Finally, Vincent spoke up.

"I guess we should get some sleep, eh?" Vincent said with embarrassment in his voice.

("Y-Yeah, I'm k-kinda tired too Master.") Aurora agreed, shuffling timidly. ("B-But b-before we go...") Aurora once again spoke up. ("C-Could we see the lake one more time? P-Please Master? There's something important I wish to tell you there...") Aurora gazed into Vincent's eyes with her begging ruby-pale orbs with a hint of worry, scared that he'll reject. Vincent thought about Aurora's request for a few seconds before nodding his head.

"Alright... But let's be quick about it okay? It's pretty chilly tonight!" Vincent said as shoved his hands into his pants pockets.

("T-Thank you, V-Vincent! I k-know I said this before but... I'm such a fortunate Braixen to have such a kind Master like you...! ") Aurora beamed as she said her thanks using Vincent's actual name other than the term 'master' which surprised Vincent.

"I-I'm just d-doing what I would usually do..." Vincent lowered his neck into his shoulders feeling both hot and cold as Aurora continued to stare at Vincent with contentment

("Even so Master... It means a lot to me... ~") Aurora playfully stuck out her tongue as she pounced on Vincent's arm. ("Sooo... Shall we? ~") Aurora tilted her head toward the forest, opening. Vincent watched her elegant fur glisten from the moonlight, he then fully understood as he nodded with a smile and wrapped his arm around Aurora's, and made his way over to the forest walking together side by side with the moon and stars lighting their way.
