The wind rushed through the open window outside it caused the trees to sway, and one was making Emma quite annoyed. It was hitting the side of the cabin making a scraping noise. Emma lay near the window on a bed that felt more like a cement block when compared to her home when she was young. A woolen blanket covered her, and although she was cold, it didn't matter to her, but only it made her miss the warmth of her home. The cabin was a large cabin built in the woods for protection and secrecy from the Evil Queen and the bastard. It used to be my father's cabin, grandfather and boys would cut down the trees and painstakingly built it as a present for his soon-to-be-fiancée if ever needs arises.

The war with Evil Queen when she rose in power when Regina wed King Leopold cause her father to eventually retreat to the cabin with mom. I never forget those days, but this cabin was built well. Emma put her hands behind her head and looked up at the ceiling, deep in thought about her home and the war and her only family left was Aunt Ruby which she haven't seen in years. Emma stared at the spider which had taken up residence on the corner, where it had spun an intricate web. The spider had become a silent companion while Emma had raged against God, the Evil Queen, Regina, the fairies and the Good magic was lost to her.

Emma chose the cabin to let out her anger because of its seclusion. She didn't want see anyone, didn't want to speak to anyone even she doesn't want anyone's pity. She screamed out her anger and pain alone in the woods and took an ax to a tree when she wasn't yelling at everybody, she sat for hours alone at the top of the hill near her cabin to watch the majestic scene before her but the beauty beyond her home entirely lost to her as well. "Damn you to hell!" Emma screamed. There was no one to hear Emma's anguished screams. It was serene except for the wind rustling the fallen leaves outside – her only silence.

She walked back to the cabin and spotted the spider, "Are you tired of my yelling?" Emma asked the spider, her voice a little husky. The spider ignored the human down below and just sat in the corner minding her own business. Emma continued her one-sided conversation with the spider.

"You sit there, not caring about the Evil Queen, King Leopold and his fucking wife, Regina and the fires raging throughout the forest." Emma sat up and swung her legs to the edge of the bed. Her feet touched the dark red rug which had been brought up from the store after her mother died. Emma got up and stretched. She closed her eyes as the breeze from the open window brushed against her face. Emma could smell the hint of rain in the air. She went to the window and looked up, but on any other day except today because she doesn't care for it, Emma would have admired the view.

Emma turned away from the window and grabbed her shirt to get dressed, "I suppose I'll have to catch or find something if I don't want to starve." Emma glanced up at the spider once more, "If I catch a rabbit, do you want the leg or the breast?" She shook her head at her own silliness and picked up the gun. She opened the door and blinked as the sun hit her eyes. Emma ventured outside again towards the large fallen tree, which was located away from the walking track that led up the hill. It was obscured by the thick large tree trunk to hide behind when she heard something. She could not see who was coming up the track, but she could hear the footsteps, one of them making a scraping noise. Emma lowered herself and waited.

Regina stopped and sighed. This trek up the hill was harder than she had thought. The incline had tested her legs and her back, but she was determined to get to the top. From what Granny had told her, it was one of the most beautiful parts in Enchanted Forest. Enchanted Forest beauty was lost entirely on Regina, and she doubted anything that could be even more beautiful up there. Regina had told no one of her journey to the top of the hill and she had left the White Kingdom before the town had a chance to rise. She did get a few raised eyebrows from the guards, but no one dared to stop her. No one wanted to be the one to stop Queen Regina of Enchanted Forest, the wife of feared Leopold and Evil Queen, and question where Regina was going. She was hoping this would be the case and was very relieved when she didn't see her guard. He was going to be upset with her but for the moment she didn't care. The walk from the village to top of the hill was long and tiring, but Regina was still determined. Halfway there she thought she had lost her mind, but she continued forward. She felt compelled to go up that mountain. Regina stopped just before the clearing and leaned on the tree. Her back and legs were screaming at her to stop. She took a deep breath and walked into the clearing.

What she saw took her breath away. The clearing was a short distance to what had to be top of the mountain. The lookout was surrounded by trees, the pond by the White Kingdom, you could even see the Dark Throne beyond the forest. "This is beautiful," Regina didn't realize how beautiful Enchanted Forest and yet her mother wants to destroy it. She stood there mesmerized by the view. This is all she wanted. She was lone, and there was no one to stop her.

Emma smiled for the first time in days. She glanced up into the heavens with a gleeful look on her face for a moment that whoever was answering her prayers. Just her and Regina Mills. Alone. No bodyguards. No means of escape except down the gorge. Emma thought of killing her right there, and it's the most perfect moment she has gotten and she knows she would not get this chance again.

Emma very quietly rubbed her hands with hope her magic will work right now, whispering to herself, "don't let me down." Regina was still on the ledge and appeared to be transfixed by the view. "Just stay where you are, Regina Mills, do not move!" She stretches her arms towards Regina to aim and having Regina in her sights. Emma was excepting something would happen to hit Regina, but nothing happened. Emma suppressed the urge to scream as she lowered herself again behind the fallen tree.

Come on, magic, she's right there! She closes her eyes to calm down and excitement as well to feel the magic coming out to try to shoot a little harder, but Regina was still visible. Emma was about to stand up and rush Regina then both going to fall down the gorge, but Emma stopped.

Oh no. Now?! Shit. She quickly hid again when she slowly transforms into man. A little beard grew when he grumbled that he hated this part. She looked down at her body, full-on male body, Emmett in her father's clothes. Did I conjure his clothes or was it already there?

He decided he had no choice but to go up to Regina, it seems the only way to back into female was after the event with Regina. He straightened his clothes and started go up with yell, "what the fuck are you doing in my land?!"

Regina's eyes widen at the rudeness' voice and turn her face, it was very own Emmett, the lost son of the Charming's, "excuse me?"

"You could get killed out there. Where's your so-called guardians?"

"He isn't here," stating the obvious and rolling her eyes, "what are you doing here?"

"I was getting hungry, so I thought I'll hunt for rabbits then I saw you. I tried to kill you, but it miserably failed."

Isn't he charming, then she smirked, "sorry to disappoint you, Emmett."

Regina's smiling and for some reason I want to keep that smile on her face, but seriously what the fuck is she doing here. "Nice view, huh?"

"I didn't realize how beautiful Enchanted Forest holds in people's hearts."

Regina sat down on the grass and remembered that Emmett did say he's hungry then she conjured fruits and berries on the ground onto of the blanket. Emmett didn't understand how it's so easy for her to do magic, but he is hungry, so he sat next to her then started eating the fruits.

"I was doing my early morning walk," giving him explanation.

Emmett made a small growl, "a morning walk to the early grave, that is." Why the fuck do I care about her well-being?!

She stopped herself when she going to say her husband, "Leopold has other concerns and it's only you here." She thought this would be perfect opportunity to know Emmett, a man of mystery.

"Where did you come from?"

"Around," refusing to give her a straight answer while eating fruits even though she kept on questioning him.

He must be working with Father Mills, "do you come into town often?"

"Not really."

"You're not going to give me a straight answer, are you?"

"No, milady," he stood up, "alright, come on. Let's get you back before you get yourself killed."

Regina heavily sighed at his vague answers, and some point she's going to find out about him. Maybe Father Mills would help her to find some answers, Emmett pulled her out of her thoughts when he tried to get her attention. She saw another dirt road and wondered, "where does this road lead?"

"One of the family's cabins, this is their spot. Come, I'll show you," reached out his hand for her to hold his hand without a thought. Regina smiled at Emmett as she took his arms then walked with him. It was surprisedly short distance to another part of the same hill but little higher. It was a bench and engraved on the bench was the Charming's, Snow and David, his parents.

"This is my spot, my family's spot," pointed at her home by the lake then sat on the bench that he hadn't sat since they died. He didn't want to look at her eyes knowing that her heart broke for him or feel her pit, he didn't want that. "Sometimes I sit here to watch you when you come out on the porch."

He looked up as her eyes soften and listened, "sit down, milady."

"You know the room where there's huge artistic stain glass …,"

Regina finished his sentencing knowing which room the spoke of, "yes, two rooms divided. That's my second room where I do my work. I loved that room."

"That's my room. My bed was on the left when you walk into my room and on the right is my school desk that my parents hire tutors and swords in small barrel. I hated learning and always wanted to learn fighting like my father."

She couldn't believe her second office is his room, that has never crossed her mind, but there's nothing she could say that would make him feel better, "I am sorry, Emmett."

"War happens," Emmett shrugged and then didn't realize he lost track of time. He starting to feel little better, less anguish since early morning. "You have to go back before your guardians find you." There was an awkward silence between them when they took 2 steps forward to each other but barely touched their bodies. Emmett inhaled heavily, extremely nervous and feeling hot, swallowed his throat, then looked into her eyes. Wow, she's beautiful, breathtaking that actually took my breath away. He wanted to remember her smell just as then she teleported away back to the White Kingdom, to her home.
