Devil May Cry Olympus Titans Curse

ESKK: Well here we go a new chapter please enjoy it to your hearts content. Also be sure you all leave me a review for this chapter.

(Start Artemis)

Artemis was not in a good spot at the moment. Here she was stuck holding up the sky because the Titans and Demons took advantage of her vow to protect maidens by using Annabeth. They knew she was the most vocal about preparing their armies for a Titan War. Thus by removing her after she found evidence it would cost Olympus another year of preparations. She could not allow this but if she stopped hold the sky up then it was Game Over for everyone.

All she could do was think of ways to even the score and have a bit of introspective. Despite the Demons surrounding her laughing at her plight she had plenty of time to think. After all it was all she could do at the moment in her current predicament here. As she stood there holding the sky on her back she began to think of the past of the day she met Dante long ago. After her Hunters were taken by the Demon Artemis went on the war path to save them and take them back. Of course when that tower rose it made her mission a lot more difficult.

That was how she met Dante… and shot him in the head. Yes not exactly a good first impression but when he shrugged it off and figured out he had a mission of his own, they joined forces. Of course the two ended up dragged into the problems with each other's respected families and relatives. Still Artemis was stubborn but the things she was forced to see in there about both the world and herself. It had nearly broken her beyond any hope of repair. Still she began to think why did Artemis trust Dante so easily? Normally most times she would have turned his sort into an animal of some kind. It was a question she had often wondered for a long time and she was no closer to finding the answer since wondering.

She couldn't help Evan and Calisto from where she was so her hope was that they can successfully find her with Dante helping them out. Funny it started with Dante saving her and here he was on the way to do it all over again. Artemis felt herself blessed to have met Dante that even a devil can cry if they lose someone close to them. Adding more he also showed her that a man can be kind just as a woman can be cruel. Thus Artemis had no qualms that Dante fathered her children even if they used something similar to Athena's method of siring her Demigods.

The last time she had ever questioned a Male like Dante was during WWII when she and her Hunters had unknowingly met their first demon. And to think it all started when that boy all but fell from the sky and… landed in her… pool. That was when the gears in Artemis head began to turn with an epiphany of utter realization. 'No it couldn't have been.' Artemis mentally realized as this quest and that boy from WWII may be connected.

'By Chaos I almost killed my own son back during WWII." Artemis realized knowing full well she owed Evan a HUGE apology if he ever ends up in that insane scenario. But in all things considered it already happened and if that was in fact Evan then he was going to learn for himself. The questions seemed to have an answer as to why Artemis had given Dante a chance so long ago. Maybe something Evan had said or did played a role way back then. Like a memory she only remembers as a dream that made her willing to trust when she normally would not. It was complicated but if her hunch was right… she owed them both a well-earned apology for that one incident. Still that is assuming they could handle what was to come and assuming it happens during their current quest. Artemis knew that with her here they were hoping to draw Calisto out and with her Tyr so they may siphon out the Eyes of the World from them. If Argosax gets his hands on them then she feared they were all doomed to eternal damnation.

Just then she heard movement and saw the current topic of her thoughts approaching her. "Ah it's been some time since we last met, Artemis." Argosax said as he walked torts the Goddess. "Or perhaps I should call you Diana like before." Argosax said making Artemis go wide eyed to this for a moment.

"Yes I'm quite aware of the Roman and Greek being one in the same, you don't fight your enemy unless you know them." Argosax said as the Demon King glared at the Goddess who aided Dante in bringing him down. "So which is it, Artemis or Diana?" Argosax asked almost taunting the trapped Moon Goddess.

"Burn in Tartarus." Artemis snapped as she glared at the Demon King whom she helped Dante and Lucia defeat as the Roman Goddess named Diana.

"Oh I can see you want to kill me but doing so would end us all." Argosax said taunting Artemis further with the fact she held the Sky right now. "But by all means be my guest." Argosax added showing he was daring Artemis to doom the world for a shot at killing him now. "I'd do it soon before I get those eyes." Argosax added showing he was trying to draw Calisto and Tyr to him for the Eyes of the World. "But doing so would put the world in danger." Argosax said taunting Artemis even further with facts.

In response all Artemis could do was growl and thus Argosax decided to push another button from the Roman side. "So does Dante know about her, about the child he had with Diana?" Argosax asked causing Artemis to go wide eyed at the mention of the Roman Tri-Breed daughter of Diana. "That's right I know and I'm not too surprised by this, once a hypocrite always a hypocrite." Argosax said taunting Artemis with the fact that she had ANOTHER Tri-Breed via her Roman self, Diana.

"I wonder what her screams would sound like." Argosax said and thus Artemis snapped at the Demon King.

"Don't, you dare lay a single finger on her!" Artemis yelled as she had nearly left her spot to get at Argosax who didn't seem at all frightened by the Goddesses outburst.

"That got a spark." Argosax taunted before he began to take his leave. "One way or another your deception will be made known and when it does you may just lose all of them." Argosax said leaving Artemis to her thoughts and to continue being bait for the Tri-Breed Calisto. As Artemis was left there her mind began to wonder to that of Diana as she began to wonder if SHE took notice to her mother's absence from the Amazons.

(Scene Break Camp Half-Blood)

Nico peeked into the Big House looking for the Activities Director. Naturally, he was worried about his sister. He was aware of what came with being an Umbra Witch and his sister made the contract for that power. He feared for her fate and her possibly dying and thus her soul being dragged into Inferno. And in addition to that, he didn't get to say goodbye to his sister at all. The day they left, they were already gone when he woke up.

"Hello there, my boy," Chiron greeted as he walked out of the door. "What brings you here?" Chiron asked to which Nico looked to Chiron hopeful.

"I'm worried about Bianca," Nico said as clearly it was evident he feared for his sister. "Will she be okay?" Nico asked as he looked to the Centaur hoping he had an answer.

"I understand how you feel, Nico," Chiron placed a reassuring hand on the demigod's shoulder. "Has your sister told you have the contract she made with the Demons?" Chiron said and thus Nico nodded.

"She said that… if she dies she won't go to our dad or to heaven nor even that place Elysium." Nico said no doubt Bianca had told him the truth. "She said she made this contract to help her friends and me but… I'm worried that…" Nico began and thus Chiron nodded to the boy.

"I know Demons are cruel and at times even ruthless, her soul is destined for eternal damnation in Inferno and for that reason alone she must uphold her end of the contract." Chiron said remembering when Bianca had made the Infernal Contract over two summers ago.

"But what if she does die, I just… I can't." Nico began but Chiron looked to the boy.

"Then I'm sure either Calisto, Bayonetta, or even the both of them with Evan shall go into Inferno and free her soul themselves." Chiron said as that was just how the tri-breeds were amongst their close friends. "But just know she did what she did for those she cares for you especially." Chiron said and thus Nico nodded in understanding. Even if he didn't agree with it even if he had tried to stop Bianca back then once she sets her mind on something she sees the decision through to the end. "Now go on and rest I'm sure you will need it as acting Councilor for Hades." Chiron said and thus Nico with a nod took his leave of the Centaur. As he left Nico only hoped Bianca will make it through this in one piece somehow.

(Scene Break Quest Group)

The group was found on what looked like a train that was transporting a large number of cars. The group was split in two with guys taking one car and the girls taking another car. Of course the entire ride had the groups split between the cars. Kat, Patty, Calisto, Bianca and Zoe ended up taking up two cars while the same could be said for the boys and Dante. Evan of course had taken the front seat while his father was taking a snooze over in the back seat. The car they were in was a muscle car no doubt being transported for either a dealership or some other thing to promote the thing.

As Evan sat he was looking at the amulet around his neck the one his mother gave him long ago. His sister Calisto had its twin and that wasn't factoring in Elysium and Calisto's swords. As he sat there he then sighed to himself before putting the amulet away back inside his shirt. He knew how they got on the train to begin with since a greasy hobo pointed it out to them. Speaking of the hobo Evan found him sitting in his car while Dante was still out cold.

"So Apollo you going to drop the act or we going to continue in silence." Evan said as he knew who the Hobo was. Sun West Line just screamed Apollo all over and Evan wasn't exactly easy to be pranked.

"Oh come on what's wrong with my disguise." Apollo asked as he looked to the Tri-Breed Devil Hunter.

"You look as trashy as your Haiku's sound and that's saying something." Evan said and thus Apollo gasped in shock to this.

"How dare you!?" Apollo accused as he looked to Evan.

"Oh I dare I dare very much." Evan said and thus Apollo sighed in defeat.

"With your track record it's no surprise." Apollo said knowing Evan tended to jump head first into danger without a care in the whole world. "Jeez sometimes even you aggravate me." Apollo said and thus left himself wide open for another one of Evan's quips.

"Guess I'm not trying hard enough." Evan said showing he at times ticked people off on purpose for a reaction. "Look thanks for the train hobo but I'm pretty damn sure there was a reason you pointed it out to us." Evan said as he looked to Apollo with a calm expression hinted with annoyance.

"It's Apollo." Apollo said but Evan smirked to him.

"Now while you're dressed like that." Evan said and thus Apollo sighed to this.

"Ok I admit I walked into that one." Apollo admitted knowing he had that one coming. "Still a part of me is surprised you came on this quest while another is not so much." Apollo admitted as Evan smirked to this.

"Hey just like I told you jerks that one summer you can take your fate and prophesies and shove them up your asses." Evan said as it was clear he did not believe his fate was preordained by anyone but himself.

"And that is where I'm not too surprised." Apollo said as Evan was not one to sit by and let the Fates decide his fate.

"Look Apollo your Oracle said there were going to be deaths and I'm not letting them happen, I got two girls here who if they die then its eternal damnation to Inferno, and mom would then resurrecting me before killing me again if it was me who died, and she'd get sad if it was Zoe who ends up dead." Evan said making Apollo go wide eyed to this information.

"You know?" Apollo asked surprised that Evan deduced the truth.

"I wasn't exactly sure until you confirmed it." Evan said as Apollo was wide eyed before face palming himself there admitting that Evan got him. "Look Apollo why are you here honestly I'm pretty sure it's not to warn a guy who can get skewered by a lot of things and walk it off." Evan said as he was starting to get annoyed with Apollo.

"Alright fine Evan there is a reason I came here, it's about Aphrodite and Kat." Apollo said and in turn Evan grew worried for Kat.

"Ok yeah?" Evan asked as he didn't seem too worried about what he was walking into for the young Medium. "So what's your point then?" Evan asked seeing that in all honesty the tri-breed did not see the problem going on with him and Kat.

"Ok I'll go long winded since you don't seem to understand the danger." Apollo said as he was worried for his Nephew. "Artemis has made a lot of enemies not as much as Sparda or your old man Dante have but close enough." Apollo began as Evan actually paid attention. "All those enemies she made are from both Olympus and the Monsters she's hunted Echidna… our version not Inferno's, would jump at a chance to get you or your sister." Apollo explained as he looked to his Nephew from Artemis.

"Ok I'm missing the point here monsters aren't that much of a problem for me." Evan said to which Apollo had to clarify on this.

"No." Apollo said as his voice had a sudden hardness to it. "These monsters would make even the most battle-hardened demigod run for the hills. Monsters so terrible she has to face them alone, or with me. They'd eat you for breakfast." He explained and in turn Evan gave Apollo a very blank look.

"Really? This is the kid who took on Two Demon Kings and is on his way to take on a Third." Evan said as Apollo then sighed to this.

"Maybe it's my own arrogance as an Olympian talking but Evan I worry ok." Apollo admitted to which Evan left it be. "Plus we can't forget what happened when you confronted Aphrodite while your sister took on her son Eros." Apollo said and thus Evan wasn't bothered.

"What I told her to bring it on." Evan said showing he wasn't afraid of the Goddess of Love. "But seriously what do I have to fear from Ms. Love and her Sex Love son?" Evan further added and thus Apollo looked to the sleeping Dante over in the backseat.

"You should be afraid Evan. Love is a dangerous thing. Have you ever heard the tale of Polyphonte?" Apollo asked as he looked to Evan.

"No. Oh, and do use small words, I'm not as bright as you." Evan said adding another quip to show he was starting to get annoyed here.

Apollo scowled at Evan's jab at him. "Polyphonte was a maiden who was commanded by Aphrodite to marry and produce children. She refused, and sought refuge from Artemis. Aphrodite saw this as an affront, and drove the girl to lust after a bear." Apollo explained as Evan sighed in response to this story.

"Why can't you gods just relax and stop getting offended over everything?" Evan asked as he was getting annoyed with all this.

"Disgusted, Artemis abandoned Polyphonte, who later gave birth to two half-bear children. Their story isn't important, so I'll end it there." Apollo said and thus Evan knew what he meant.

"Back when she was all men are evil and woman are superior in every possible way." Evan added and thus Apollo let Evan be mainly because he wasn't exactly wrong there. "Look Uncle sun spot is there a point to this story, or are you just showing me how petty you gods are?" Evan asked as he wondered if the Gods were always like this or it just came with the Divinity package.

"I'm showing you," Apollo said through his teeth as he knew Evan was gifted with a mouth that can tick off just about everyone around. "That Aphrodite isn't someone to scoff at. Not even Artemis's protections could save Polyphonte. And hers isn't the only story like that. Atalanta, the women of Lemnos, Hippolytus, Glaucus of Corinth, Paris and Helen, and so many others." Apollo said listing off all the people Aphrodite had screwed over with her petty ways.

"I get it." Evan said getting annoyed with the story. "She sounds like a god damn succubus to me and let me tell you facing those things while going through puberty not a fun time." Evan said and thus Apollo decided to get to what Evan wanted answers for.

"Oh, and she's also fiercely overprotective of her children." Apollo said answering Evan's previous question about Kat's involvement.

"Ok I don't see where this is." Evan began but Apollo cut the Tri-Breed off.

"I know you have the hots for Kat, why else would you give those three Demons to her and suit her up with hunting equipment?" Apollo asked making Evan go wide eyed to this response. "A star crossed romance like that is a one in a million sort." Apollo said as Evan heard this.

"Well I you see… we're not exactly like that." Evan tried to play it off but Apollo caught him red handed. But Apollo was far from done with that particular topic.

"It doesn't matter if you are or not; if Aphrodite finds out you've been hanging around her daughter… especially Kat, I shudder to think what could happen to you." Apollo said as he then went on with his explanation and warning for Evan. "Not to mention all the people Aphrodite's involved with—Ares, Hephaestus; Hermes when she's in the mood…They'd all be willing to go through you if it meant they could make Aphrodite happy." Apollo said but then remembered one thing about Hephaestus. "Though Hephaestus would probably give you a pass thanks to Patty." Apollo added knowing how close they were and it was thanks to Dante she was safe from Demons and Monsters.

"Heh, bring them all on." Evan said accepting the challenge post haste and shocking Apollo. "I know Ares wants a shot at me or my dad and I'm not one to turn down a challenge." Evan said but he was far from done. "Plus pissing Aphrodite off like that would just be a bonus, yeah I care for Kat maybe even more then I realize but if dating her pisses off her mom then I think even Kat will want a part in that action." Evan said showing he was not afraid to take on the Olympians if those assholes ever decided to provoke him.

"I guess there's no convincing you." Apollo said as he knew when he was beat. He then checked his watch and then went wide eyed at it for a moment. "We'll, it's getting pretty late. I got to run before Lord Zeus starts getting suspicious. See you around, kid." Apollo said as he got ready to head back to Olympus.

"Yeah see you later Apollo." Evan said and in turn Apollo flashed away to Olympus. "Jeez." Evan sighed once Apollo was gone leaving him and Dante alone in the car. "Still do I have feelings for Kat or am I just going through puberty situations." Evan said as he tried to clear his thoughts. "Still Lunastra Angelo I'm pretty damn certain that was actually Evelyn." Evan said as he knew Evelyn better than most people.

Just then he heard a knock on his window opting him to look to it. Outside the door was Zoe and it was clear the Huntress wanted to come in. Rolling his eyes Evan unlocked the door and allowed Zoe to come into the car. "Welcome to club Sparda where the guys are the entertainment." Evan quipped as he let Zoe into his current car. "So what brings you here?" Evan asked as he looked to his mom's oldest friend.

"Trying to escape thy Styr friend. He hath been trying to impress me with a Poison Ivy song." Zoe said and thus Evan shrugged a bit.

"Yeah sounds like Grover." Evan said as Zoe then looked to Dante who was still sleeping as did Evan.

"It truly amazes me that a slouch such as him can dine milady's attraction to spawn thyself and thy sister." Zoe said as Evan's noted the tone she had used.

"It's a gift we Sparda men are all cursed with." Evan said as Zoe rolled her eyes at Evan's quips. "Our Devilish charms attract mates from all over the world." Evan further boasted and in turn Zoe proceeded to ignore Evan and all of his ego fueled posturing to her.

"Or mayhap they ego has clouded thine perception of things." Zoe countered as she was not in the mood to deal with those with egos inverted to their lower mass.

"Oh I'm pretty sure my perception of things are quiet clear, all things considered." Evan responded making Zoe raise an eye to the Tri-Breeds response. "In fact Zoe the only thing I can't get a clear read on is you." Evan admitted making Zoe go wide eyed before he looked her straight in the eye. "Seriously what is with you, one minute you hate my guts the next we're best friends, and then after we're right back to you hating on me for some crap." Evan said as this caused Zoe to go wide eyed in response to Evan's accusations.

"I… um." Zoe began but was at a loss for words after Evan's prior accusations.

"It's simple Zoe, do you like me or do you hate me. No shame in admitting one or the other." Evan said as he wanted to get to the bottom of why Zoe has been on his case so much.

"Evan I hardly hate, ye. Thine are the son of Lady Artemis and thus hold a higher standing then most men in the world." Zoe said but Evan wasn't convinced.

"If that's true then why the fricking stink eye and mean comments you've been giving?" Evan asked clearly wanting to end this little feud that they had going on here.

Zoe then spared a glance to the sleeping form of Dante who oddly enough hasn't woken up from his slumber. "I hath born witness to the exploits of thyself and thine father." Zoe began as she got Evan's attention. "I hath also been researching thine grandfather Sparda and his exploits." Zoe continued and thus Evan began to grow more curious. "I may have developed something of feelings for thee but I hath yet to decide if they are positive or negative." Zoe said to which the Tri-Breed then sighed a bit.

"Great anime Tsunadere then." Evan said as Anime were a guilty pleasure of his. In response Zoe proceeded to slap Evan upside the head for that one. The two glared at each other for but a moment before they began to share a small laugh for that small bit.

"Art thou concerned?" Zoe asked getting Evan's attention. "That thy mother may very well…" Zoe began but then Evan scoffed to his mom's first lieutenant.

"Jeez what is it with people and prophesies?" Evan asked himself clearly not a believer of such things as prophesy. "I already said it two times but here is number three you can take your prophesy and shove it up your ass." Evan said showing he was not one to take prophesies like a bitch.

"I wouldn't dismiss such things so casually Evan." Zoe said but Evan was one to argue.

"Yeah because all chances point to your dad offing you right, I mean he is the General Percy talked about." Evan said making Zoe go wide eyed to this.

"How… how did you know?" She asked to which Evan yawned a bit.

"I wasn't sure at first, but I couldn't stop thinking about how Percy said you responded to the 'General,' at the museum." Evan began as he was relaxing in his seat. "Then Apollo showed up and solidified my suspicions and then you all but admitted to it." Evan said and thus Zoe realized Evan was smarter than people give him credit for.

"Evan listen carefully, you must not tell the others of this." Zoe said as Evan then sighed.

"Wasn't planning on it, not my secret to tell unless of course my hand is forced." Evan said showing he won't tell it unless said secret can save their lives.

"Swear on it." Zoe said as she glared at Evan.

"Jeez fine, I swear on the River of Styx that I won't tell anyone Zoe Nightshades secret unless my hand is forced to do so." Evan said and in turn the distant rumbling of thunder was heard causing Evan to direct a glare at Zoe. "There happy now?" Evan asked as he had enough of this fine print crap already.

"Very." Zoe said and in turn Evan honestly wanted to sleep now.

"So is that all?" Eva asked and thus Zoe nodded to the Tri-Breed.

"Yes that is all." Zoe said and in turn she got up and left the car closing the door behind her while leaving,

Once she was gone Evan then sighed and looked over to his sleeping father. "Dad how long are you going to pretend to sleep?" Evan asked and thus Dante chuckled a bit as he got up.

"Well I wouldn't have to if you and our guests had kept our tone down." Dante said as he got up to a sitting position. "So you and Kat huh?" Dante asked as he smirked to Evan who rolled his eyes. "I mean sure she's supposedly Aphrodite's kid but I have to admit not a bad catch kid." Dante said smirking to his son knowing full well he inherited that Sparda charm from him.

"Yeah well someone had to have gotten it because it sure wasn't you." Evan counted with a smirk on his face to his old man.

"Hey watch it kid, I can still smack you upside the head if it comes down to it." Dante said but Evan only made a, bring it on, gesture in response to his father's threat. "Anyway so we're taking on a reviving Argosax, question is what does he want?" Dante said as Evan had to think that one over.

"Well clearly he wants his power back but how is the question." Evan said as he tried to think of what this former king needed to regain the power he had lost when Dante defeated him.

"Well whatever it is I doubt we can think of an idea or be able to fight if we're dead tired." Dante said as he went to rest once again. "You better get some sleep, Evan." Dante said once he laid down. "Something tells me we're going to need it." Dante finished and thus Evan sighed and laid down himself on his seat. All the while Evan could not help but wonder what the future held for the Devil Hunters. But unaware to Evan dark forces were afoot against him and his ever growing family.

(Scene Break Argosax)

Argosax sat atop the mountain that was once home to the Titan Army. As he sat there he smirked sinisterly as he made sure his forces had eyes and ears on all his enemies. He knew Evan would be making his way torts them and he knew Paradiso would be doing all it could to get Tyr. Argosax held no illusion that Atlas wanted the Eyes for Kronos to be fully revived.

He also knew the only reason the Olympians haven't offed the Redgraves was for Sparda's power and the power of the Eyes of the world. He was smart enough to know to bide his time and wait it all out. As long as Calisto and Tyr both live on then so too will the Eyes of the World live on. But still he just needed to guide them to his location and as a Demon King he had all the time in the world. Still knowing Dante was there put a damper on things and it will take careful planning and sacrifices for all his goals to be met. The only thing Argosax could do now was wait for the opportune moment to strike.

Once the Titans serve their purpose he will deal with them but for now Argosax only had one goal in mine. And that was to revive his power and rule over both Inferno and Chaos. He was the Demon King Argosax the Chaos and he will rule this world and unlike those fools Mundus and Abigail he will not fail.
