I'm back y'all. Glee stories won't stop! So in the last chapter we got to say the great teamwork between Puck and Quinn. So this chapter I'm thinking I put their four favorite people in it,, no, tot Kitty, Artie, Finn and Rachel, I'm talking about Judy, Russell, Puck's mom and his father! Don't worry, I won't be too mean

So without further adieu, please enjoy the newest chapter of Here we go again

Towards the end of her first trimester, Quinn had begun to signs of their kid developing. Her morning sickness, whilst not awful, was none the less still there. She had also developed cravings for certain foods such as licorice ice cream and apple fritters. Basically anything sweet. Her maternity leave, while not very stimulating, was also rewarding in that she didn't have to deal with the shrieking children, who were happily under the watchful gaze of their substitute, who seemed to be putting the fear of Gd into them.

Puck on the other hand was miserable. Not that he didn't love defending his country, that was by far the best part of his job. It was that he hated being away from Quinn and their kid. He hated that he couldn't help her out as much, even though the compound he worked at was less than an hour away and his commanding officer did tell him that he could go home if it was an emergency. Regardless, both of them were both not too happy at the moment and unfortunately, it wasn't getting better.

You see, despite it being so long, neither Puck nor Quinn had told their parents of their grandchild. Judy, who Quinn was only relatively friendly terms with still was a bit stoic towards her younger child, still not that thrilled that she had gotten pregnant at 16. Nevertheless, Quinn still felt bad she hadn't told her mother.

Russell was even worse, having no interest in Quinn's life due to his absenteeism throughout her teenage years. To him, Quinn was a disappointment of drastic proportions, the fact that she hadn't invited him to her wedding was even worse. Afterall, he was her only father.

Puck's parents on the other hand were less hostile towards their child. Patrice having a very loving relationship with her son, she was all too proud of him being a hero and in her eyes, he could do no wrong. Whilst she wasn't Quinn's biggest fan, she still bore her no animosity as she made Puck happy.

The biggest wild card however was Puck's father Thomas. The man was every bad part of his sons but super intensified. He would happily go from woman to woman with no regard for their feelings whatsoever, perfectly content with his life. He would come into and out of Puck's life, only when he needed to and then vanish without a trace.

Nevertheless, both Puck and Quinn knew that they needed to tell their parents if for no other reason other than ethics. They deserved to know that they had a grandchild, mostly Judy and Patrice. However, the pair hated the idea of Thomas and Russell due to their conservatism and dead-beat ways respectively. Therefore, they had arranged to meet Judy and Russell at Quinn's childhood home that Sunday. What could possibly go wrong?

'' Sheesh, its cold'' Puck shivered on the porch, ringing the doorbell. '' I thought Hell was supposed to be hot.''

'' Cut it out. Look, my mom and dad are talking, that's a good thing at least. Remember how when I first brought you home they used my sister as a mediator?''

'' How could I forget? Franny tell Judy that she's a hateful shrew'' Puck mimicked.

'' Oh am I?'' a familiar voice said from the other side of the door.

'' Judy, Gd, I'm sorry, I was just-

'' I know Noah'' Judy hugged her son-in-law and daughter. '' Quinny, Noah, follow me'' the pair followed Judy into the parlor room where they saw something shocking; Russell.

'' Quinny!''' Russell went in for a hug but was pushed aside.

'' Don't'' is all Quinn said. '' What…is he doing here?'' she glared at her mother.

'' Alright. I was hoping to tell you at a later date…but your father and I…are back together.

Quinn went silent for a good 3 minutes before speaking. '' How…dare you.''

'' I should go..'' Puck motioned before being stopped by his wife.

'' No, you stay'' Quinn spat. '' You know, after you kicked me out of my own home, I was destroyed. I hated myself, my life, what I lost. I used to hate to look myself in the mirror because I had lost it all, my confidence, captaincy of the Cheerios, popularity, I had so many slushies tossed in my face that I had a semi-permanent body odor of red-dye number 6. But I also gained stuff. I found my real friends, people who liked me for me, and one of them saw the real me so much that he married me. All you saw was this disappointment, this person who used to be your daughter. Well guess what, I have a father, and he isn't you.''

'' Wow, Quinn, calm down'' Judy said.

'' No, no he deserves to hear this. William Schuester, the director of the New Directions, he picked me up when I fell, he went with me to one of my first ultrasound appointments, he gave me away at my wedding, was the man who married myself and Puck, and even did the father daughter dance. In the last 11 years, he's been a better father to me than you have. So I'm sorry for you, that you got to miss out on my life because of your jaded, conservative garbage views!'''

The room went quiet after that before Russell spoke up. '' You're right. I was a bastard of not just a father but a human being. I refused to help you when you needed me most, but that's stopped. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I know for a fact that you feel numb towards me, you and your husband both. I know I have a lot of redeeming to do. All I'm asking for is a chance.''

'' Quinn, try'' Puck placed his hand on his wife's shoulder. '' Everyone deserves another chance.''

'' Well, mom trusts you, and if Noah does too, then I'll give you one more chance.''

'' That's all I ask for'' Russell shook Quinn's hand. '' Now, as a show of good faith, tonight's dinner is being provided by me'' Russell motioned for the trio to follow him into the dining room where he had prepared an almost feast-like dinner. There was what was most likely the biggest chicken any of them had ever seen, easily the size of a small turkey, its skin golden brown, the savory scent in the air. For side-dishes there were large bowls of mashed potatoes, fresh garden peas, roasted vegetables as well as a large gravy boat.

'' So, let's dig in'' Russell rubbed his hands together as they sat down. '' Now fill me in, Puck is it?''

'' Yes sir, Noah Jacob Puckerman'' Puck answered.

'' I see, and you're a what now? Air force sergeant Judy tells me?''

'' Yes sir, first class. I also did two tours in Helmand in Afghanistan. I'm also in charge of training all incoming personnel at a compound near Columbus.''

'' Columbus? That's a little far isn't it?'' Russell interrogated.

'' Slightly. But I make it work.''

'' Well, its an honor to meet you and thank you for your service.''

'' My pleasure sir. But Quinn's also impressive.''

'' I know, Judy tells me you're a kindergarten teacher these days?''

'' That I am. I know I'm not some big shot like you wanted me to be.''

'' Quinn'' Judy hissed.

'' No no, its fine. I honestly don't care what you do as long as you're happy. So tell me more about it. What are the kids like?''

'' Nightmares'' Puck coughed slightly.

'' Ignoring that…honestly some are nice and some aren't. One the one hand I have this one boy called Trey Beaumont who has no manners, throws his toys and food and can't stay still for more than three minutes.''

'' Sounds awful Quinny'' Judy said.

'' Oh that kid's evil. I surprised Quinn at work one day and the kid came up to me and hit me in the stomach'' Puck added.

'' That's awful son. But tell me about the nice ones'' Russell spoke.

'' Janey Dreir. Such a sweetie, always shares, is soft spoken, always well behaved and helps everyone she can. I hope our kid's like that in a few months'' Quinn covered her mouth, both her parents gasping.

'' Quinn…you're pregnant?'' Russell asked.

Alright, time to toss this guy around like a ragdoll Puck thought, getting ready to fight.

'' Yes'' Quinn whispered. '' For a few months now.''

Russell and Judy stood up before approaching their son-in-law and daughter, embracing them in a bone crushing hug.

'' This is wonderful! More grandbabies!'' Judy squealed, whilst Russell just shook Puck's hand.

For the rest of the evening, the quartet just enjoyed each other's company, no tension or drama whatsoever. Just family having fun. However as the pair were about to leave, Russell pulled Puck aside.

'' Listen, my daughter may love you, but I still don't trust you'' he warned.

'' I understand.''

'' Don't you talk back to- wait what did you just say?'' Russell asked, confused.

'' I said I get that. I did horrible things in my teenage years, in a way I destroyed your family. So I understand your hating of me. And if Quinn's going to give you a chance, I think its only fair that you give me one too.''

'' Fine. But I'm warning you, if you hurt her, I will snap your neck like a toothpick you got that?''

'' Sir yes sir'' Puck saluted him, going to his wife who was now in the car.

'' Let me guess, the old if you do this then you'll be killed talk?'' she asked.

'' Pretty much.''
