Devil May Cry Olympus Titans Curse
ESKK: Well here we go a new chapter all set and ready to go. So let's get started shall we.
(Start Desert)
There was no proper way to tell how long they had been traveling for but they had a good idea how far west they had gone. It was sunset when they got off the boar which was good since the Twins couldn't keep the boar on a leash forever. They had noticed that the mountains faded into the distance and were replaced by miles of flat, dry land. The grass and scrub brush got sparser until the group were traveling across the desert.
They had dismounted the boar when it stopped for a drink of water at a nearby creek bed of muddy water. It had even eaten a cactus thorns and all which meant they were at the end of the road with him. "Well no use from this guy now." Evan said as he looked to the boar.
"Agreed." Dante said half tempted to shoot it and take it with them for food. After its third cacti the creature belched and turned around leaving the group there after they had dismounted during its meal.
"It likes the mountains better." Percy guessed to which Evan and Calisto both nodded to this. Evan then turned around and began to walk down the path with his father close behind him. As they left Calisto couldn't help but feel something off about this place. Yeah a desert was a desert but she felt like being here was asking for trouble to find them. In fact Bianca felt the same way but for her it was much worse. It was hard to tell but both Witches knew something was going to happen to them in this desert. The Question was what that something even was.
Ahead of the group was a two-lane road half covered with sand. On the other side of the road was a cluster of buildings too small to be a town: a boarded-up house, a taco shop that looked like it hadn't been open for decades, and a white stucco post office with a sign that said GILA CLAW, ARIZONA hanging crooked above the door. Beyond that was a range of hills…at least until the twins and Dante noticed they weren't regular hills. The countryside was way too flat for that. The hills were enormous mounds of old cars, appliances, and other scrap metal. It was a junkyard that seemed to go on forever.
"Whoa," Percy said as the twin agreed with him. This place it all seemed wrong, somehow like this was a place best avoided.
"Something tells me we're not going to find a car rental here," Thalia said as she then looked over to Grover. "I don't suppose you got another wild boar up your sleeve?" She asked and thus Grover shrugged.
"I think you're asking for a miracle with that one." Evan said while Patty nodded to this as she looked oddly calm through all of this
Grover was sniffing the wind, looking nervous. He then fished out his acorns and threw them into the sand, then played his pipes. They rearranged themselves in a pattern that made Grover go pale.
"That's us, those ten nuts right there." Grover said as he pointed to one group of acorns in question.
"Which one is me?" Percy asked as he looked to one of them.
"The little deformed one," Zoe suggested with a smirk on her face.
"Oh, shut up." Percy retorted with a small glare at Zoe.
"Then I guess the second one is you huh Sister Zoe." Evan said and thus Kat laughed a bit at that one causing Zoe to glare at Evan.
"Silence." Zoe countered as Evan got a high-five from Percy for that one.
"That cluster right there," Grover said, pointing to the left. "That's trouble." Grover said and thus the group began to grow warry of it.
"A monster?" Thalia asked as she was ready to fight if need be.
Grover looked uneasy but still not enough to cause concern... yet. "I don't smell anything, which doesn't make sense. But the acorns don't lie. Our next challenge…" Grover began as he pointed straight toward the junkyard. With the sunlight almost gone now, the hills of metal looked like something on an alien planet.
"Well if there's a challenge I say bring it on." Evan said as he had a cocky smirk on his face.
"Evan maybe we should be careful, you've been getting dragged into Limbo a lot lately and certain powers of the Trinity are clearly trying to make a play." Kat said as she looked to Evan before Corvus showed up.
"That's right Evan we need to be careful unless you find yourself torn limb from limb." Corvus said as Evan knew the duo had a point there.
"Look let's call it a night ok, we need to rest and after that long ride I can use a snooze." Calisto said to which Evan had no choice but to agree with his twin sister on this. But for some reason Evan felt there was more at work than any of them knew.
Dante meanwhile looked to the Junkyard as he had noticed how Patty was calm looking at it. She figured it may be something to do with Hephaestus but the Son of Sparda wasn't sure. He opted to wait and see for the answer then to simply jump to conclusions. Regardless it would do them all some good to rest for the night and head out early at dawn. Besides no one wanted to traverse a junk yard in the middle of a cold night.
(Scene Break later that night)
As night set in it quickly began to grow cold opting Percy and Thalia to gather up some wood from the boarded up buildings for fire. When they had gathered enough Patty lit it aflame and thus the group were gathered around the camp. Calisto and Evan of course were wide awake as with everyone while they looked up to the starry sky above them. Needless to say they were all amazed at the amount of stars hovering above them.
Kat was laying down nearby as Furfur was silently making everyone comfortable while Corvus opted to be used as a pillow by Kat while sleeping himself. Corvus had already gone to find any animals to cook up for food with Fenrir having gone prior to Corvus to hunt for himself.
The three Sparda's had already cleaned out their guns to keep them ready for the next fight against the Trinity. "The stars are out," Zoe said as they were all comfortable and she was right. There were millions of them, with no city lights to turn the sky orange.
"Amazing." Patty said as she looked up to the stars.
"You know the twin typhoons here loved the stars growing up." Dante said as Patty nodded.
"Really?" Kat asked as Evan and Calisto heard this but Evan blushed in embarrassment to this.
"Yeah those two numbskulls can name every constellation in the sky as well as their variants from other cultures." Dante said as Calisto smirked.
"Not going to lie astronomy and astrology were Evan's strongest subjects it was really weird." Calisto said to which Evan rolled his eyes.
"Yeah he never broadcasts that gift so everyone assumes he's just a punk." Patty said as Dante smirked to this.
"You say that like that's not what he is." Dante said to which this got a small laugh from the gathered group.
"Shut up." Evan said and in turn Zoe opted to cut in on this reign.
"This is nothing." Zoe began as she got everyone's attention once more. "In the old days, there were more. Whole constellations have disappeared because of human light pollution." Zoe said as Percy noted this.
"You talk like you're not human," Percy said as he looked to Zoe with concern.
Zoe raised an eyebrow. "I am a Hunter. I care what happens to the wild places of the world. Can the same be said for thee?" Zoe said but Thalia was getting tired of Zoe's oldie speak.
"For you not thee." Thalia corrected the Hunter and thus Zoe heard this.
"But you use 'you' for the beginning of a sentence." Zoe said but Thalia begged to differ.
"And for the end," Thalia said as she went to correct Zoe. "No 'thou'. No 'thee'. Just 'you'." Thalia said and thus Evan rolled his eyes.
Zoe threw up her hands in exasperation. "I hate this language. It changes too often!" Zoe said and thus Evan opted to speak.
"Yeah hey, Thalia should we switch you out with Annabeth your starting to become a walking thesaurus just like her." Evan quipped and thus the Tri-Breed sighed after Thalia huffed. "Zoe you may be a Hunter but you and all your fellow Hunters were humans once upon a time also." Evan said as he looked to Zoe who heard the Tri-Breed. "Is the world of man, no the world of humanity really that bad despite all of our mistakes?" Evan asked as Zoe was left without an answer for the Tri-Breed.
"You don't have to answer." Calisto said as she looked to Zoe. "Just think on it, men also have the capability of good just as woman have the capability of evil." Calisto said as she knew her mother had learned this.
Dante smirked with some pride as he had similar thoughts with Lady. In the world humans can be just as cruel as any demon but at the same time even a devil can cry when losing a loved one. Dante learned that first hand after all and he was proud to see the lesson lives on in his brats.
In turn Grover sighed as he was still looking up at the stars like he was thinking about the light pollution problem. "If only Pan were here, he would set things right." He said to which Zoe nodded in agreement with the young Satyr here.
"But…" Evan spoke up as this got everyone's attention. "Maybe we need to consider that mankind will eventually surpass the Gods." Evan said to which Zoe and Grover were wide eyed at this.
"How can you say that?!" Zoe asked as she stood up shocked by Evan's words.
"Zoe I get it, the Gods believe themselves invincible but what happens if and when mankind starts stripping them of their domains?" Evan asked as he looked to Zoe. "Already mankind has landed on the moon and don't give me that crap that it's fake because there is no way it was fake. How long before they start moving further from Earth colonizing worlds beyond our reach, it could be this year or centuries from now but it will eventually happen." Evan said as he truly had faith in the human spirit to surpass the power of any God in the world.
"Evan that's crossing line there." Grover said as things were getting heated between them now.
"So?" Evan asked as he knew it was a hard pill to swallow for them. "The only way to eliminate the 'Spirit of the West,' was for mankind to unite under one power be it by takeover or mankind's own free will and when that happens the world of Gods will end up toppling without the Titans doing anything." Evan said as he looked to Zoe and Grover on this. "Gods fade eventually and it's because humanity will always progress and expand further than any God or Goddess can counter." Evan said as this got everyone to go silent here.
After all how can they answer back when Evan had made a good point here? How long before humanity finds a way to surpass the limitations the Gods put in place. They invented a rocket that could travel to space and back in the day everyone believed it to be impossible. Just how long will it be before humanity finds a way around whatever limitations the Gods put upon them. Grover and Zoe didn't want to think about it but even Percy and Thalia saw the logic being used here.
"I mean… he's not exactly wrong." Percy said to which if any God heard Evan say this they would either smite him or laugh at him. But Evan knew that the power of Gods were only limited by their domains and by the human race.
But before this conversation could be taken further the group was hit with a blazing light from down the road. The headlights of a car appeared out of nowhere as Evan was hoping it was Apollo here to give them a ride again. But the engines being used were far too silent to be the sun chariot, and besides, it was nighttime. The group grabbed their sleeping bags just in case it was trouble and in turn got out of the way as a deathly white limousine slid to a stop in front of them.
Fenrir growled as Evan reached for Elysium while Dante was oddly calm about all this. The car door opened, and a sword slid under Percy's chin only for Evan to draw Elysium and knock it away. Zoe drew her bow while Patty had her Rapier out. Calisto and Bianca had their guns ready while Thalia had her spear. Grover of course drew out his Pipes as Kat drew her sword and buckler ready for combat. Just then a big man came out as Evan looked ready to fight but before Evan could swing the man moved his sword on Evan.
But it was not Evan who stopped the attack but Dante using Ebony and Ivory to stop the swords swing. "Nice swing you got there." Dante said before he pushed the man back revealing it to be Ares. "Then again I should have figured being the God of War and all that." Dante taunted as he smirked at the War God standing before him. "Isn't that right, Ares?" Dante asked as the man in question was dressed in biking leathers and a pair of black shades with a face covered in scars and scratches.
"Well count my lucky stars Dante the famous Son of Sparda savior of Olympus and the human world." Ares said as he was glad that Dante was here. He'd been hoping for a shot at the famous half-breed Son of Sparda for a long time now.
As everyone looked ready for a fight Ares knew that business came before pleasure. "At ease, people." He snapped his fingers, and in turn most of the group's weapons fell out of their hands. "This is a friendly meeting." Ares said before pointing his dagger at Evan. "Of course, I'd like to take your head for a trophy, but someone wants to see you. And I never behead my enemies in front of a lady." Ares said as Evan figured Ares was still pissed about being shot through the mouth.
But then they remembered what Ares had said and in turn Thalia was the one to ask. "What Lady?" Thalia asked as she was surprised. Kat of course had a glare as she had a good feeling as to who the lady in question was. After all she could feel the aura coming from inside the gaudy as hell Limousine.
Hearing her Ares looked over to Thalia who was standing next to Kat. "Well, well. I heard you were back." Ares said as he lowered his sword and pushed Percy away while walking passed the boy. "Thalia, daughter of Zeus," Ares mused as he then began to look around to the group. "You're not hanging out with very good company." Ares added while he looked to the gathered Quest group.
"What's your business, Ares?" Calisto asked as she glared at Ares. "Who's in the car?" She added but was far from done on this. "Unless you want more of what we gave you last time." Calisto added to which Ares glared for a moment but left the quip be there.
"Trust me kid I have a bigger fish to catch here." Ares said as he smiled at Dante, while he was enjoying the attention. "But, I doubt she wants to meet the rest of you. Particularly not her." He said while he jutted his chin toward Zoe.
"I wonder why." Evan quipped only to be elbowed by Patty for that.
Ares then jammed his sword into the ground before he began to speak. "She wants to meet you, Dante." Ares said as he looked to the son of Sparda. "In fact my lady has been dying to meet you." He added to which Dante smirked one that showed them where Evan got that smirk from. "And she also wants to see the two of you." He said before pointing at Evan and Kat. "Be lucky she wants to see you as well otherwise I'd be hanging your head on a wall." Ares said and thus Evan smirked at the foes.
"Says the guy who got his ass kicked by a 13 year old." Evan taunted as he smirked at Ares.
He threw back his head and laughed. "You got guts, I'll give you that. But a little respect goes a long way." Ares said as he hinted at a warning for Evan to watch his tone. "The rest of you, go get some tacos while you wait. Only take Percy, Dante, the pup, and the girl a few minutes." Ares said to which Zoe interjected there.
"We will not leave them alone with thee, Lord Ares," Zoe said as she didn't trust the infamous God of War here.
"Besides," Grover managed as he looked to Ares with concern. "The taco place is closed." Grover said and thus Ares rolled his eyes.
Ares then proceeded to snap his fingers again causing the lights inside the taco shack suddenly blazed to life. The boards flew off the door and the CLOSED sign flipped to OPEN. "You were saying, goat boy?" Grover said and thus Calisto had another one to use.
"What about the food?" Calisto said and thus Ares glared at the Tri-Breed Umbra Witch.
He then snapped his fingers again and in turn he glared at them. "Anything else?" Ares asked and thus Dante smirked knowing what Ares did there.
"A car with a DVD player, Wi-Fi, and working aid conditioning." Evan said and thus Ares glared at him.
"Don't push it." Ares warned and thus Evan shrugged.
"Had to try." Evan said and in turn Percy knew it was time to step in before Evan said something stupid.
"Go on," Percy said as he was calm about this. "We'll handle this." Percy said trying to put everyone's worry at rest.
"You heard 'em," Ares said cutting in on them. "They're big kids, they can handle their own." Ares said but Evan smirked to this.
"You would know Ares buddy." Evan said as Ares really wanted to skewer Evan.
"Kid's not wrong." Dante added and thus added himself to that list.
The group in turn reluctantly headed over to the taco restaurant while Ares regarded Percy with loathing, then opened the limousine door like a chauffeur. No doubt Ares was still sour about what happened during Mundus and Jubieleus invasion of the city.
"Get inside, punks." He said while he held the door for them. "And mind your manners. She's not as forgiving of rudeness as I am." He reminded as Kat had a feeling as to who this woman was.
Percy of course went first as he gave Evan a look and slipped inside the limo, leaving Evan, Dante, and Kat alone with the war god. It was awkward at first while they waited until Ares spoke up. "So been hearing a lot about you and your dad, Dante." Ares said as he looked to Dante.
"So I've been told." Dante said as he looked to Ares.
"Mind me asking what brings you on this quest?" Ares asked and in turn Dante smirked to Ares.
"Was hired by Apollo, he can't intervene but nothing says he can't hire someone to step in." Dante said and thus Ares had to love the loopholes.
"Well I heard your pretty tough, was wondering if you'd be willing to go a few rounds?" Ares asked as Dante smirked to this.
"What's in it for me?" Dante asked as it was like the two were having a dick measuring contest. Ares looked around and thus had an idea for this. "If you ask me, if I win I get that fancy chariot of yours." Dante said and thus Ares glared at the son of Sparda.
"And if I win… I get that fancy sword of yours." Ares said as he gestured to the sword Rebellion.
"You got yourself a deal then Fire eyes." Dante said as it was clear he was confident he would walk away from this fight with a new Chariot for battle.
Ares scoffed for a moment until suddenly he reached into the limo and pulled Percy out. "You're lucky, punk." Ares pushed him away from the limo. "Be grateful." Ares said as Percy then turned to look at Ares with a glare.
"For what?" Percy asked as Evan smirked to this.
"That we're being so nice. If it was up to me—" Ares began but Percy cut him off.
"So why haven't you killed me?" Percy shot back smirking at Evan.
"I'd love to kill you, seriously but see, I got a situation. Word on Olympus is that you might start the biggest war in history. I can't risk messing that up." Ares said as the warmonger clearly wanted his wars. "Besides, Aphrodite thinks you're some kinda soap-opera star or something. I kill you and that makes me look bad with her." He said to but he was far from done. "But don't worry. I haven't forgotten my promise. Someday soon, kid—real soon—you're going to raise your sword to fight, and you're going to remember the wrath of Ares." Ares said as Percy heard this.
"Um didn't Patty shoot you in the mouth before you finished making that curse?" Evan asked and in turn Ares was wide eyed as he did remember that from long ago.
Percy balled his fists but saw what Evan meant and smirked. "Why wait? I beat you once. How's that ankle healing up seeing as you don't have a hole through your cheeks?" Percy said as it was clear Evan got Ares there on the curse.
In response Ares grinned crookedly at the duo. "Not bad, punk. But you got nothing on the master of taunts. I'll start the fight when I'm good and ready. Until then…Get lost." Ares said and thus Percy began to make his way to the Taco shack nearby. "Now who's next?" Ares asked as he looked to the rest of the gathered group.
"I guess." Dante began but Ares cut him off.
"Not you Dante, the lady wants to see you last." Ares said and thus Dante eased back for the time being. In turn it meant either Evan and Kat were next to speak with this woman.
"Well guess I'm up next." Evan said as he got up and went to meet this chick in person… again.
(In the Limo with Evan)
Evan entered the limo and for a moment his breath hitched as sitting across from him was Aphrodite herself. As Evan looked to her he saw she was as he remembered minus the bandages, she had long dark hair, crystal blue eyes, perfect makeup. She was wearing a red satin dress and heels. Her gloss-covered lips were pulled back into a seductive smile. She looked like Kat or Thalia, if the Daughter of Zeus ever decided to start wearing makeup.
"Why am, I not surprised." Evan said as he took a seat across from Aphrodite. "So what does the Slut Goddess want with me?" Evan asked as he sat across from Aphrodite. "Last I checked you swore to make my life a tragedy." Evan said as he was inspecting Jekyll a bit showing he will fight if she starts it. "And if memory serves I told you to bring it on." Evan said as he pointed Jekyll at the Goddess.
Aphrodite scoffed but the frustration was felt by Evan radiating off her. "Please, let's keep the talk of weapons and all that outside. Those were always my boyfriend's hobbies." She said and thus Evan smirked to this.
"Which boyfriend?" Evan asked as Aphrodite glared at him. "I mean you've had so many it's a wonder why you aren't tied with Big Z upstairs for conquests in the bed." Evan said as Aphrodite kept herself in check from lashing out on the Tri-Breed son of Artemis. After all it was no secret that Zeus was considered the unofficial god of man whores by anyone and everyone who knows of his legends.
"Evan I'm sure you know why you're here." Aphrodite said as she looked to Evan. When Evan didn't even give a smart ass comment like he normally did Aphrodite continued. "I want to know what your intentions are for Kathrine." Aphrodite said putting her cards on the table before him.
"She's my friend what other intention do I need?" Evan asked not even bothering to give Aphrodite a straight answer.
Aphrodite glared at Evan no doubt wanting a real answer from the Tri-Breed Devil Hunter. "You don't travel around facing countless dangers from our lore to the Trinity of Worlds all for a friend." Aphrodite said as she glared at Evan seeing right through him.
"And why do you care now all of a sudden?" Evan asked to which he decided to put his cards on the table. "Not like you're concerned for her safety or anything. If you were you would've stopped all the crap she went through growing up." Evan said as he hit Aphrodite where it hurts. "Let's face the facts the reason your suddenly caring this much to come out here is because you can't stand the thought of any child of yours being with a child of Artemis." Evan said as he looked to Aphrodite straight in the eye. "I guess it's true what Kat said you are a terrible mother, and unlike my mom at least she TRYING to improve herself." Evan said to which Aphrodite was shocked by Evan's words.
In turn rage followed as Aphrodite's eyes blazed in fury against Evan. "You're lucky Olympian law prevents me from killing you. There are, however, alternatives to that. Remember that." Aphrodite warned as she glared at Evan.
"Bring it on." Evan said the same words he used before when Aphrodite threatened him.
The two were silent for a moment before Aphrodite went on. "I do care for her and I only want what's best for her. That's to grow old and be with a proper man or woman unlike you." Aphrodite said as she glared at Evan.
"It's her choice lady, and if she does choose me I'll let her know how much it would piss you off." Evan said as he knew that Kat dating him would piss Aphrodite off to no end.
"Very well I cannot stop her." Aphrodite said as she knew Kat deserved a bit of happiness in her life. "You may go Evanescence." Aphrodite said making Evan go wide eye to this just as he opened to car door to leave. "Yes I dug up that your full name is Evanescence Sparda Redgrave, named after your paternal grandparents." Aphrodite said as Evan then began to leave fully. "But just be aware that if you seek to pursue a relationship with any of my daughters, I'll geld you myself." Aphrodite said stopping Evan for a moment longer.
"Lady don't tempt me." Evan said as he wasn't one to turn down a challenge so easily.
Ares slammed the door behind me. "All right, enough wasting the lady's time." Ares said as he glared at Evan. "Hoodie girl your next." Ares said as in turn Kat nodded and entered the limo next. Evan then shrugged and opted to make his way to the Taco shack for some Tacos.
(Meanwhile Kat and Aphrodite)
Kat sat down across her mother and gave her a glare just before Fenrir came out and rested his head on Kat's lap. Corvus would have come out too but he hated small places like this and Fenrir was the better call in this situation. The silence between the two was evident as it was clear Kat would rather be anywhere but here right now. As the two continued to sit there in silence the tension had risen to become thick enough to cut through.
It wasn't until Kat finally spoke that the tension was broken. "What do you want mom?" Kat asked as she wanted to keep as much distance between herself and her mother as she possibly could.
"Is that anyway to speak to me, Kathrine?" Aphrodite asked and thus Kat glared at her mother for calling her by that name.
"It's Kat." Kat corrected as she honestly wasn't a fan of her name hence why she had shortened it to just Kat.
"Not according to your birth certificate." Aphrodite retorted as the initial stages of a yelling match was starting between them.
With a growl Kat had a retort for her mother on this. "Since when did you care again, last time we ever spoke I was barely a newborn just before my life started going to shit." Kat said as she honestly knew her mother tried this past summer but that was all she did. One conversation and admission of aiding her in her hard life did not equal her forgiveness. "Do you have ANY idea how hard my life was, no wait don't tell me you did and considered it mortal problems with how everyone thought I was crazy for seeing monsters and tried to drug me up to shut me up." Kat growled as she really wanted this conversation to end between the two.
"If you REALLY cared for me you would have tried helping me more, I know you can't show favoritism but even you had to recognize that some of your kids needed help more than others. But no you have to hide behind the 'Ancient Laws,' excuse and just watch me go through all my crap without lifting a finger." Kat accused as she knew one or two events of helping her from afar didn't mean squat to having all those hardships left and right. She could see into Limbo and Purgatory and when she voiced it people thought she was crazy and drugged her up. Hell at one point she even ended up in a mental institute ran by demons. It was a miracle she even got out of there. Then came the foster care system where she ended up in an Orphanage ran by the Angels of Paradiso. Long story short Kat didn't have an easy life compared to most Demigods out there.
"Kathrine I." Aphrodite began but Kat cut her mother off.
"Just tell me what you want so I can go." Kat said and in turn Aphrodite sighed knowing her daughter was still sore about her upbringing.
"It's about you and Evan." Aphrodite said and thus Kat rolled her eyes.
"Oh here we go why am, I not surprised." Kat said as she was clearly venting here. "Let me guess you want me to stop seeing him right, all because you're petty bitch against his mom Artemis." Kat said as she glared at Aphrodite who was wide eyed at her words. "Ok I'm going to say this now, who I'm interested in isn't any of your damn business ok. If me and Evan end up dating then you are gonna suck it and deal with it." Kat said as she glared at her mother. "He saved my life and he's had my back ever since." Kat said as she looked away solemnly. "If we end up dating great if not oh well, but if we do end up dating… well annoying you is just a nice bonus." Kat said as Aphrodite then looked away before glaring at her daughter for this.
"You know I could easily punish you Kathrine." Aphrodite said as she glared at her daughter hoping to heel her to line. "If you've heard the tales, you know how I can be even to my followers." Aphrodite said and thus Kat stood up while Fenrir jumped down.
"Yeah and then you'll just end up proving what I said about you is true." Kat said and in turn Aphrodite knew she was in checkmate here. Aphrodite glared at her daughter before sighing sadly knowing Kat was a stubborn young girl. Not that her reasons were unwarranted mind you, it was a miracle she hasn't even joined Luke on his crusade. Still the thought of her becoming the mother In-Law to Artemis whelp made Aphrodite sick to her stomach on that.
"Very well." Aphrodite said and thus gave Kat her leave. Kat in turn left as Fenrir returned to her Bucklers gem which housed the demon. Once Kat left she was met with Ares for a moment before she went on to the Taco Shack.
Dante stood there and thus Ares closed the door a bit while glaring at Dante. "Um didn't she need to talk to me?" Dante asked as he looked to the Olympian.
"She… needs a bit to set up said you can meet her over there." Ares said as he pointed to another shack that looked more like a motel of sorts.
"Alright then." Dante said as he began to head on over as the Ares got back to the limos driver seat, As Dante made his way to the motel Ares proceeded to park the Limo at the mentioned motel. "I got a feeling this is going to be one of those days." Dante said as he knew what to expect from Gods and Goddesses of any known or unknown pantheon. But as Dante made his way into the Motel he couldn't help but feel Ares glaring at him for it.
As Dante entered the Motel he began to notice an odd smell in the air. It smelled like incense and in turn the half-breed began to put the pieces together. Dante followed the trail as he noted there was a trail of roses as well guiding his path to his meeting spot with the Olympian until he found a door. Looking around the door looked oddly expensive and Dante noted that the smell of incense originated from this expensive doorway. Seeing it Dante shrugged and proceeded to open the door and enter the Motel Room.

Soon Dante arrived at what looked to be a Five Star Lovers suite based room that looked oddly like an Olympian Temple in its prime. As Dante began the approach he could just tell if he was any lesser man he'd be getting laid tonight. It wasn't long until Dante finally got to the bed chamber area and was met with the sight that would make any man praise god. The bed itself was big enough that one could fit a harem on it for a full on orgy. The room itself was surrounded by scented candles as Dante swore it looked like something from one of his son Evan's violent Greek based Video Games. He wasn't sure all he knew was that the game involved Ares in some way.
On the bed itself, was Aphrodite in a violet exposing dress that bore her breasts for all to see, a similarly colored cloth around her crotch like a lowing cloth, and what appeared to be manacles around her wrists and ankles. "Welcome Dante sorry for the delay but I had to make sure the children were sent off first." Aphrodite said as this was her plan to stick it sideways to Artemis and her spawn. "I do hope you find our venue to be most enjoyable, o Legendary Dark Knight, Dante." Aphrodite said as she looked to Dante desire all but dripping from her form.
Dante didn't seem affected by it but Aphrodite knew the Son of Sparda was simply hiding his desire for her. After all no man mortal or otherwise would ever turn down a night of pleasure with the Goddess of love. "Perhaps I may interest you in better accommodations then a camp site, perhaps a night with me." Aphrodite offered as she sensually crawled over to Dante before laying on her back with her head hanging off the edge of the bed.
"What the hell is all this?" Dante asked as he knew something fishy was going on here.
"Oh this, isn't it obvious Son of Sparda?" Aphrodite asked playing koi with Dante and his question as she sat up looking to famous son of Sparda. "I thought an old classic for this venue would be most enjoyable to get the blood flowing in the right direction." Aphrodite said as with her eyes she looked between Dante's legs wondering what he was packing down there. "I'm sure whatever Artemis had done with you to birth those twins of yours pales in comparison to the pleasures I can offer." Aphrodite offered to which Dante gave the Olympian Goddess a bored look.
But with that silence Aphrodite knew Artemis didn't even offer any pleasure to the Devil Hunter Dante. "Oh my mistake, swearing to her vow she opted to use Athena's method." Aphrodite said to which she in turn tried enticing Dante even further. "That Artemis still a stingy child." Aphrodite added as she changed positions being as sensual as she can to further entice Dante. She laid down to her side as she spoke through it all and soon was laying on her stomach swinging her legs a bit. "Perhaps I may provide where Artemis was lacking Son of Sparda." Aphrodite offered as she knew if she can claim Dante like this Artemis will be thrown into a rabid frenzy of rage against the Devil Hunter.
"After all Dante would you not fine more pleasure with me then you ever could with Artemis. As you say you only live once after all." Aphrodite asked as she rolled onto her back grazing a finger across her body to entice the Devil Hunter. "Now I shall ask you again, won't you join me in my bed brave Dante?" Aphrodite asked as she then sat up facing Dante to draw him to her embrace.
For a moment it seemed that Dante may have accepted her offer as he approached her. But then to her utter shock Dante did the one thing no man had ever done to her before… well done to her and lived to tell the tale.

"Not interested lady." Dante said as he had just turned down the Goddess Aphrodite's offer. Needless to say Aphrodite was in shock to this as Dante began to take his leave of the motel room.
"Excuse me what?!" Aphrodite asked shocked that Dante a man had turned her down. HER the Goddess of Love Aphrodite. Men the world over would kill for a chance with her in any way, shape, or form. She had never been rejected by any man or woman in the world. Yet here was Dante being offered a chance in her bed the most highly covenant prize of all from her and he turned her down.
"You heard me I doubt the brats at the Taco shack will appreciate having you around like that." Dante said as he smirked at Aphrodite who was wide eyed that this Half-Breed turned her down. What made it worse was that she went through the effort to set this up so close to the junkyard of her husband's discarded creations to stick it to him. "Besides even if Artemis swore that oath there are ways around it considering Zeus had already broke his oath before." Dante said and in turn Aphrodite glared at Dante but quickly reigned herself in there.
"But Dante." Aphrodite began as she stood up and went after Dante only to trip and fall torts him. Of course it was a trick but one she nailed Dante with when he caught her. Once she was in his arms she released her power to induce the feeling of love into the Son of Sparda. Thus the minute she was in his arms it was a simple matter of a single kiss to him. "My, it seems to me that you were just shy, Dante." Aphrodite said before she went in for the kiss only to feel something hard and cold against her stomach stopping the Goddess of Love. She went wide eyed and in turn nearly gulped before she had to ask him. "Is that a knife or are you just happy to hold me like this?" She asked with a small hint of fear in her voice.
"Neither." Dante said and thus Aphrodite felt the item and saw it wasn't his dick or a knife. She then looked and saw the Gun Ivory pointing at her stomach. She then looked at Dante and glared at the smirking Devil Hunter standing over her. "You and Artemis deserve each other." She growled making it sound like an insult to Dante. She then yelped when Dante dropped her and began to leave the room. As he left he spun Ivory in his hand before holstering it while Aphrodite got back up and glared at Dante. But as Dante left Aphrodite then smirked fully aware of what Ares wanted with Dante. It was Dante's loss because now he didn't have her protection from her boyfriend the Olympian God of War himself, Ares.
(Later outside the Motel)
Dante managed to make it outside and smirked when he saw Ares waiting for him. "Now then last I checked you and I have business to take care of." Dante said as he looked to Ares who was waiting for this moment with great excitement.
Ares smirked and in turn began to approach Dante ready to finally duke it out with the Son of Sparda. "You got that right." Ares agreed with Dante as he stood before the Devil Hunter a few feet away Dante smirked as he looked to the Olympian God of War. "I can't wait to add that sword of yours to my arsenal just imagine the kind of damage it can do." Ares said as he smirked at the Devil Hunter.
"Yeah don't overestimate yourself buddy." Dante said not at all worried about losing this fight. "Still you have to admit a fight every now and again makes life a little more interesting." Dante said as he then pointed Rebellion at Ares showing he was ready. "Don't you think?" He added and thus Ares also took a battle stance against Dante.
"Beating you might just be the hardest thing I've enjoyed." Ares said as he actually agreed with Dante on that.
"Wish it was mutual buddy." Dante countered showing he just wanted to get down to the part where they fight. The two glared each other down while circling around the other sizing each other up. Just then the two charged at each other as Ares roared and went after Dante. Dante met Ares blade with his own Rebellion as the two weapons met and began to grind against each other.
The two then parted ways and in turn Dante busted out Ebony and Ivory before shooting them off at Ares. Ares of course opted to tank them head on before he went at Dante with his sword. In response Dante dodged the attack before he fired his guns once more. "Hey Ares I heard Patty shot you through the mouth." Dante said as he then landed and switched to Taurus before slamming the hammer into Ares sending him flying back. As this happened Aphrodite had come out and saw the boys having fun out here. "That true or she shot you in the low balls?" Dante asked while also taunting Ares to tick him off.
Ares glared and in turn went for the full frontal assault. Dante seeing this dodged the attack by jumping over Ares. Once he was behind him he took out Taurus once more and swung the demonic Warhammer at Ares like it was a baseball bat. Ares was sent flying by the Hammer Devil Arm but Dante was far from done with the God of War. Ares was back on his feet but was in turn forced to block another attack by Dante and his Rebellion. The two began a sword fight against each other with the sound of clashing blades being heard echoing. The two continued this struggle for a bit before they managed to push each other back from it. Dante spun Rebellion in his hand casually showing his confidence in his fight against the War God.
Ares of course glared at Dante as the two once more began to circle around each other ready for more. They in turn began to fight once more as they charged and swung their blades with increased vigor. "Gotta say kind of a letdown here." Dante said as he jumped back and fired off his guns at the Olympian God. "I was expecting more from you." Dante said as Ares blocked the bullets from Dante. "You know seeing as you're the 'God of War,' and all that it entails." Dante taunted further as Ares growled at Dante. "Come on man show a little more violence." Dante said as he spin the guns in his hands.
"You want violence!?" Ares called out and charged at Dante who then smirked at Ares. Dante in turn blocked the attack and pushed Ares back from it. Once that was done Dante charged at Ares and slashed at his side causing the Golden Ichor of his Godly Blood to spill. Once that was done Ares summoned forth his power and in turn brought forth a horde of Spartan Soldiers. Once they were out Ares pointed them at Dante who smirked at the undead Spartans here.
They charged at Dante intent on killing him but Dante was ready for them. He dodged and avoided their attacks with ease before slashing and bashing them with Rebellion and Taurus. Once he was done doing that he switched over to Ebony and Ivory and began shooting up these Spartans Zombies left and right. "Anyone call for movie night?" Dante asked while taunting the Olympian. "Tonight's viewing is army of the damned staring Dante Redgrave as Dante Redgrave." Dante said as he then with a powerful slash of the Rebellion took out all of the surrounding Spartan Warriors with ease.
"Yeah I do why not give it to me?" Dante said as he was clearly getting the upper hand here. With a savage snarl Ares went at Dante and in turn began to put more force and power into his attacks on the Devil Hunter. The two did battle as they swung their blades at each other and with each attack blood spilled from both parties. But from the looks of it Ares was losing more blood then Dante was which meant Dante had Ares beat in the speed department. Plus thanks to Dante's healing factor from his Demon blood he was able to keep up with the Olympians healing.
They then parted a bit and clashed before their weapons were grinding against each other. The two looked at each other sharing a grin both enjoying the fight against each other. But Dante wasn't really enjoying it 100% seeing as the only person who could do that for him was his twin brother Vergil. Alas Vergil was nowhere to be seen ever since the incident on Mallet Island years ago. The two fighters then parted their weapons and began performing heavy and powerful swings at each other. This went on for a bit longer before Dante took out Taurus and used the shaft to block Ares next attack on him. Once that was done Dante maneuvered both himself and the Devil Arm before slamming it into Ares face cracking his shades for that last attack. Dante didn't end it there as he used the Hammer to smash into Ares stomach and hoist him up. Once that was done Dante slammed down the Devil Arm Warhammer with Ares under it causing a crater to be made from the Devil Arms impact.
With Ares under the weapon he cried out in pain as he felt the wind being knocked out of him. Once that was done Dante smirked and in turn jumped back from Ares trying to counter attack the Devil Hunter. Once this was done Ares went for a stabbing motion with his sword against Dante. But Dante was ready for Ares as he then deflected Ares sword and knocked it out of his hand before spinning around and stabbing into Ares gullet with the Rebellion. Once this was done Dante forced Ares to his knees as the God of War cried out in pain with the massive sword skewering him. Once that was done Dante jumped off and took his sword leaving Ares laying there.
"Dammit your one tough mortal." Ares growled as Dante smirked at the God of War.
"You can give up and walk your sorry ass back to Olympus or stay and keep this going, your call man." Dante offered as he was more than willing to accommodate Ares in this fight.
"Sorry but I'm not one to turn down a fight so easily." Ares said only to end up crying out in pain when Dante shot at Ares with Ivory riddling his chest and face with bullet wounds. Once Ares fell back he growled as he glared spitefully at the Half-breed.
"You were saying?" Dante asked as he smirked at Ares no doubt enjoying giving him what for in this fight.
Ares growled at Dante and in turn once he got his footing charged at Dante who then sighed knowing those like Ares were stubborn. In turn Dante then activated his Devil Trigger when Ares was upon him with the blast of demonic power knocking Ares back. Once that was done Dante passed by Ares in his demon form and sliced his arm off while he was at it. Ares roared in agony at the severed limb and even though it would heal the loss of his limb still hurt the Olympian God like a bitch.
Once that was done Dante reverted to his human form with a cocky smirk against Ares. But as Ares turned to Dante the Devil Hunter proceeded to kick Ares down and pin him under his boot. Before Ares could react he found the blade of Rebellion pointed at him causing Ares to rethink his tactic. But it was clear by the smirk on Dante's face and glare from Ares as to who had just won. "Come on man what's with that face this was your idea after all." Dante taunted as Ares clearly did not appreciate being reminded of that.
"I… yield." Ares growled as he glared at Dante clearly angry he lost this fight.
Dante smirked and got off of the God of War before he began to walk away from Ares before stopping. As he sheathed the Rebellion once more he turned his attention back to Ares who was getting back up. "By the way my prize." Dante said and in turn Ares growled to this and in turn snapped his fingers. Just then Ares War Chariot made an appearance as Dante gave the Chariot a look over. "Well not what I was expecting." Dante said as he sounded unimpressed by the Chariot. "Luckily I can count on Rodin for this, right?" Dante asked and much to Ares shock Rodin was there holding a camera recording the fight.
"You got that right, Dante." Rodin said as he approached the Chariot. "Hephaestus is going to enjoy this video." Rodin said as Dante smirked while Aphrodite was shocked by this.
"And that I cannot deny." Dante said as Rodin put a hand on the Chariot.
"Anyway I'll take this off your hands I'll tur it into something good." Rodin said as he then smirked and vanished in a flash of crimson with the Olympians Chariot. Once Rodin was gone Dante smirked to Ares and Aphrodite while the later of the two was currently in a bathrobe after failing to seduce the famous Son of Sparda.
With an annoyed sighed Aphrodite began to storm off. "Come on lets go." Aphrodite said as she was clearly not happy about any of this. In fact Ares was angry but Dante knew why Ares lost against the Devil Hunter.
Gods were arrogant because they weren't used to not getting their way. In fact they hardly even know the bitter taste of defeat so whenever they do lose they refuse to accept it and throw a tantrum for their loss. For any God Olympian, Norse, Egyptian, and even Roman it was either their way or years of suffering for those who disagree with the Gods. Dante smirked as he saw Aphrodite and Ares enter the limo again and not long after they were driving off. Once this was done Dante began to make his way to the Taco shack to find the Quest Group standing there. Percy, Grover, Zoe, and Thalia all stood there in shock over what they had just seen happen before them.
They all stood there in silence for a moment until it was Dante who decided to speak up. "So did any of you guys save me any Tacos?" Dante asked and in turn began to walk to the shack to grab himself something to eat. He left the group there as Bianca, Evan, Calisto, and Patty smirked to all of this.
"First time?" Patty asked as she patted Zoe and Thalia on the shoulder before walking off after Dante.
"Don't worry you get used to it." Evan said as he passed by the three while Bianca came next.
"Good luck with that." Bianca said before Calisto walked by and helped the three pick up their jaws. It was clear the Demons had more power than one was lead to believe. The fact Dante a half-breed was able to best an Olympian God in combat was cause to be concern. Once can only hope Zeus and his paranoia doesn't end up reacting to this event that took place. But the Quest was far from over as now they had to start making their way to where Artemis was held wherever the place might be located. Regardless they will find her and they will prevail because if they fail then the Titans will win and destroy Olympus with innocent lives caught in the crossfire of it.
