First of all, I got a new laptop and it was a complete pain to set it up with my account so sorry for the delay. The next chapter will be the last of the Vacation Arc and it should be finished and posted sometime next week so hold on to you're butts.

Isaac arrives at the main lounge before Chiaki and is greeted by his entire class, all wearing more comfortable and appropriate clothing. Isaac looks outside one of the windows and notices for the first time how white the world is. The outside with brimming with freshly fallen snow and practically begs to be interacted with. When walking down the hall to enter the main room, Isaac turns to his left and sees Hiyoko and Mahiru, who seemed to just leave the girl's bathroom.
"Took you long enough, Sleeping Beauty!" Hiyoko sneers, a purple jacket with cyan pants replace her traditional kimono.
"Don't be so rude Hiyoko. He did plan this vacation for us." Mahiru chastizes. The photographer wearing a dark green jacket with purple pants. Next to her is Sonia, who wears an aqua jacket and blue pants, and Mikan, wearing a brown jacket and white pants. Isaac simply rolls his eyes as he continues down the hall and opens the doors to the main room.
Isaac scans the lounge and watches the rest of his classmates sitting in the main room. The main room of the lodge is a spacious area that has an assortment of tasteful furniture such as couches, beanbags, a grand table with sturdy chairs, and even a cot. The interior walls are lined with wooden logs and give off a fresh pine smell. The two large glass windows display the front of the lodge and the back of the lodge, showing the vast forest within the building property. In the middle of the room, attached to the wall laid a stone fireplace, still burning off of wooden logs.
Isaac takes two steps into the room before he's assaulted by a random hug from a certain musician.
"Isaac, my dude! This place is awesome! Have you seen the kitchen? There's so much food stocked in there to feed an army. They even have one of those cool marshmallows that go great with some smores or maybe hot chocolate! Ooo! Ooo! Have you been to the garage yet? There's, like, a DOZEN kinds of sleds and snowboards and even s snow-mobile! You really got us hooked up on the good stuff man!" Ibuki chatters as she swings herself around Isaac by his neck. The musician continues to go on about how cool the place was, but-
"Oi, Punk Rock! I think you broke him." Fuyuhiko states from his spot on the couch. He, Nekomaru, Ryota, and Akane was sitting on the couch playing one of the portable video games Chiaki brought with her. Ibuki blinks innocently and looks up at Isaac. The bounty hunter's face is bright red, almost glowing, his eyes wide in surprise and seemingly frozen in place. Ibuki lets go of Isaac's neck and wave her hands in front of his face.
"Yoohoo! Knock Knock! Anybody there?" Ibuki asks poking Isaac all around to get a reaction out of him. When nothing she does gets a reaction out of him, Isaac's head snaps forward, like something struck the back of his head, breaking him out of his trance. Isaac rubs the back of his head and turns around to meet the gaze of who hit him. When green meets red, Isaac gives a questioning look to the person behind him. "Was that really needed?" He asks.
Peko nods, holding her bamboo sword, "Indeed, you looked like you needed it." she replies before walking past him to join everyone else, earning herself a stink eye. Isaac, ignoring Ibuki's antics, joins the rest of his class as Chiaki enters the room after him. When she does, Ms. Yukizome, who has been sitting on a beanbag, jumps up and grabs everyone's attention.
"Okay everyone, listen up! I know you all are excited about this trip, but remember, there are more announcements you need to know, Sooooooo, I'll let these two munchkins explain them." She gestures to Isaac and Chiaki, who make their way to the front of the room, right in front of the fireplace, and faces their class.
"Okay so first things first, we'll be here for about a week and a half, that was the best deal I could get with the principal. Not to mention that we will be in charge of our own faculties, meaning food, laundry, and things like those will be our responsibility." Isaac explains, earning a few groans from his classmates, but one glare from Isaac quieted them down.
"Awwww, I wanted to be pampered like a king on this trip," Kazuichi mutters to himself.
Chiaki continues with the explanation, "As for rooms, due to there only being 9 rooms with each having 2 beds and 1 bathroom, each of us will be having a roommate to live with them. Ms. Yukizome will have a room for herself." At the end of that piece of information, Sonia raises her hand for a question.
"Yes, Sonia?" Chiaki calls on the princess.
"How will we be deciding on who stays with whom?" Sonia asks. Before Chiaki could answer, Isaac replies, "Me, Chiaki, and Ms. Yukizome talked about this before the trip. We paired you up with one another based on your relationships with each other and who's less likely to burn this place down. Chiaki was in charge of the girls while I was in charge of the boys."
Chiaki nods before pulling out her phone with a list to read off of. "With that settled the groups are: Me and Sonia..."
"Oh, how wonderful! I get to sleep with you Nanami!" Sonia says gleefully.
"Um, Sonia that's not how you say that kind of thing..." Mahiru states, sweatdropping.
Isaac continues, "The person rooming with me will be Fuyuhiko."
Fuyuhiko simply shrugs his shoulders, no complaints.
"...Mahiru and Hiyoko will be together..."
"Yaaaay! At least I don't have to stay with any of you nasty pig barfs." Hiyoko exclaims with a smile on her face.
"Nekomaru and Teruteru are next."
"Ho ho ho! Looks like I get to stay with this beefcake for over a week? *Mwah* Parfait!"
Nekomaru shivers and proceeds to look around, "Where is that insane bloodlust coming from?"
"Mikan, you'll stay with Ibuki."
"W-w-what? Really? P-please, take care of me!" Mikan stutters out.
"Whoohoo! Looks like team Band-Aid is leaving the station!" Ibuki shouts proudly.
"Gundham, you are with Kazuichi for this one."
"What?! Why are you grouping me up with the hamster freak? I said I was sorry about your snacks, okay!" Kazuichi defends himself.
"Hunter of Man, leaving the Pink-Haired One with me will only doom his existence on this mortal plane. Unless... this was your plan after all!" Gundham shouts accusingly.
Isaac looks at the two and sighs, "If your unhappy with your partner, then Kazuichi can go with Nekomaru, and Gundham will go to Teruteru." Isaac says. The two boys look at their new partners before turning to Isaac once again.
"Umm, you know what? I can deal with Tanaka."
"I-I shall contain my power for this week to not harm him."
Isaac smiles crookedly at their cooperation, "Good, then no harm done."
Peko raises her hand and asks, "By process of elimination, does that mean I will be staying with Akane and Nagito will be staying with Ryota?" Both Chiaki and Isaac nod at the swordswoman's deduction.
"Nice! I get to room with a strong chick!" Akane says happily.
"Oh wow, to be sleeping in the same room as a symbol of hope? Oh, what luck I have!" Nagito says, a wide smile on his face. Ryota looks at his roommate and simply sighs in defeat.
"Okay, with the rooms settled, now we can talk about the fun stuff!" Ms. Yukizome explains, "During this week and a half, you will all be doing three different kinds of activities: One, you can go to the garage and use the sledding and snowboarding equipment there."
"Oh hell yeah! Snowboarding!" Kazuichi exclaimed.
"I have always wanted to try out sledding!" Sonia says happily.
"Next, you can journey out in the backwoods and explore the wilderness." continues.
"Maybe I can find some quality ingredients out there?"
"Explore, you say? Ha! I, Gundham Tanaka, will conquer these woodlands and add them to my ever-expanding empire!"
"And finally, for those who like to stay indoors, Nanami has kindly brought her game systems to participate in tournaments!" Ms. Yukizome finishes, clapping her hands in excitement. "For today, we can just settle in and get moved in!" She pulls out a small pocket watch and glances at it, "Your bags already got moved to your rooms so just unpack and we'll meet back in an hour!"
"What the hell is your game?"
Isaac, laying on his bed, looks up from his book and sends a questioning look to the other person in the room.
"What are you talking about Fuyuhiko?" Isaac asks, his attention returning to his novel "If you want games, then ask Chiaki?"
Fuyuhiko's scowl deepens, "You fucking know what I'm talking about. This trip came from nowhere and now we are staying in pairs, you just happen to pick me?"
Isaac sighs before closing his book and sitting on his bed. His eyes meet Fuyuhiko and all that the yakuza could see is empty green eyes. Isaac then spoke in a soft voice, "I wanted to do something for one Fuyuhiko, I don't wanna be the kind of person that people won't approach. I know I'm hard to like, but I wanna try." For a moment Fuyuhiko swore he could see a glimmer of something in Isaac's eyes.
"Plus you are the only one who knows what I really look like under everything. I don't want people to walk in on me changing and see..." He didn't finish his sentence.
Fuyuhiko closes his eyes with a sigh and rubs his temples, recalling the day he saw Isaac's...marks.
A day or two after the Kai clan incident Isaac wanted to take a hot shower in his room after one of his spars with Peko. The fight's conclusion favored more for Peko, but Isaac gave her a run for her money. Isaac turns on the hot water and steps into the shower, allowing the hot water and steam to envelop him.
"If we're talking pure swordsmanship, she's got me beat." Isaac thinks aloud as he rubs shampoo into his hair. After a few more strokes on his scalp and a scrub-down with a washcloth, he turns off the water and takes a towel from the rack. After wrapping it around his waist, Isaac leaves the bathroom, steam quickly escaping the bathroom. Isaac then walks over to his closet and begins to swipe through the hanger for some fresh clothes.
"Ahem"
Isaac froze, the sound of someone clearing their throat is as clear as day and it originated directly behind him.
'Crap, the running water hid the noise so I didn't know!' Isaac internally bashed himself in the head for making that kind of mistake. After a tense moment and a couple of deep breaths, Isaac turns around and comes face to face with a wide-eyed, horrified Fuyuhiko. The young mob boss's eyes stared at the numerous scars that littered Isaac's upper body.
"What. In. The. Actual. Fuck. Happened to you!" Fuyuhiko exclaimed, clear surprise(and worry?) all over his face. Isaac opens his mouth to yell at Fuyuhiko to get out, but he forgot that he's only in a towel and immediately becomes flustered.
"D-dude! Get out! I'm only in a towel!" Isaac stammers. Fuyuhiko seems to have snapped out of his daze before surveying the situation and then leave. As he leaves, Isaac could catch a glimpse of some sort of emotion on Fuyuhiko's face, but can't put his finger on it.
Ever since that incident, he and Fuyuhiko never mentioned it, they just acted as they would normally do, but ever since Isaac rarely see that glimpse of tat unknown emotion on Fuyuhiko's face when they're talking or interacting with one another.
"Tch, fine, but you better not screw anything up here, we already have a class full of misfits, someone's gotta be responsible and as long as I'm not it, I'm happy." Fuyuhiko jumps off his bed and walks over to Isaac raising his fist towards the bounty hunter. Isaac looks back at Fuyuhiko and raises his own fist and fist-bumps his friend.
"You got it."
Author Note: So a fun thing I liked about this chapter was making the reactions for the different partners. I tried my best to make them as accurate as possible.
Another thing I need to ask all of you is that I want to know if you all enjoy the interactions with each person in the class. I don't want to alienate some people entirely, they will all have their moments with Isaac and form their own kind of relationship like Fuyuhiko's "Best friend" and Akane's "Sparring partner". Would you all like to see the thing I'm doing already with trying to make sure everybody gets a part, or should I have different people every chapter get their highlight? For example, if Nagito doesn't play a role or talk that much in one chapter, the next chapter or one after that will have more in-depth interactions.
