Monday morning at school
"Mo, what on earth are you doing here, I thought you had a show in San Francisco, what are you doing all the way down here in LA" asks Tori
"Lemonade Mouth is no more, Stella lost her voice, for good this time, or at least she can't sing anymore, first she broke her leg skateboarding and now she lost her voice, there was a big fight about how we'd go on without her, Charlie and Wen wanted to get another person to replace Stella, Olivia and I said no, that we'd wait for Stella to heal, Wen and Olivia broke up shortly after and Scott broke up with me, Liv and I are kinda sorta dating but please keep that to yourself, I don't want our fans finding out, they'd hate it" says Mo
"why would they hate it, where's Olivia" asks Tori
"we're living in a hotel, our manager that we got shortly after the Madison Gardens thing paid for the year as a send off, Liv isn't feeling well, her anxiety is pretty bad, we're students here now, your principal talked to us last week, Liv will hopefully be here tomorrow, she's not to excited about attending the same school as you, something about being afraid you'd leak things and we'd be found by our fans" says Mo
"I may be popular here but I'd never reveal anything about you guys being here, the thing is, qthe way Liv dresses and the way she does her hair is pretty iconic and very much tied to her as a singer for lemonade mouth, if she dresses like that here, her secret of being here will be blown and assumptions will be made and she will be swamped with fans asking for autographs" says Tori
"so you're saying that she shouldn't attend Hollywood arts" asks Mo
"no, what I'm saying is that if she changes how she dresses and modifies her hairstyle she can keep people guessing, people will think it might be Olivia but they won't be confident enough to approach her" says Tori
"what about me, do I have to change my looks to attend here, Liv needs me, without me she's consumed by anxiety and grief about Wen breaking up with her and she can't deal on her own, she's worse than when we didn't really know one another before the whole band thing" says Mo
"maybe change your hair up a little, for you it would mostly be about acting, if someone approaches you start acting nervous, maybe even hyperventilate a little, it will throw people off enough to stay away" says Tori
"is that what you did VV, I mean our fans love you, how aren't you swamped with fans, you can change your looks all you want but your cheekbones are unique and rare, surely people can tell VV is you Tori" says Mo
"VV isn't popular at this school, how I don't know but this school is more about acting than music, though music does play a role, acting is more important, as far as VV's fans are concerned VV hates acting, which isn't totally wrong when it comes to me, I definitely prefer music to acting but I partake in acting classes specifically to hide my music life, now come on we'll be late for our classes, who do you have for first" says Tori
"some teacher named Sikowitz, it's an acting class" says Mo
"oh good, he knows about VV being me, he can help you and Liv hide you from lemonade mouth fans here, he's not as crazy as he seems, it's a cover for his acting career, what name did you go under when you applied to Hollywood Arts" says Tori as they head to class
"Missy, liv went by Olivia Black, don't give me that look, I'm bad with fake names ok" says Mo as Tori shakes her head
At lunch
"hey guys, this is Missy" says Tori introducing Mo to the group
"she looks like Mo from Lemonade Mouth" says Cat
"it obviously is Cat, respect her privacy and tell NO ONE" says Jade
"oh ok" says Cat
"yes, I'm Mohini, but not here, here I'm Missy, Lemonade Mouth broke up, Stella lost her voice and the rest of us couldn't agree on a solution, Olivia should be here tomorrow, she's Olivia Black now, her anxiety is worse than ever, which is why she's not here today, she couldn't keep food down, it's that bad" says Mo
"I can imagine she was just getting used to the life of a star as the co-lead singer, she's very popular" says Jade
"yes, it was a big change for her, honestly she's relieved she's no longer in the spotlight, Stella's making a big post about the band breaking up next week, Liv and I believed that Stella could have recovered, the boys wanted to replace her, they wouldn't even compromise" says Mo
"if they wanted to replace her so badly then they didn't truly care about her feelings or about what she wanted, from what you said it's like the boys didn't realize that without Stella, none of them would be popular in more than their families or their home town, STELLA made them popular" says Andre
"so you're like dating Tori right" asks Mo as Andre gets nervous
"why make such an assumption" asks Andre as Tori rolls her eyes and decides to spend some money on another lunch and walks to the grub truck
"you clearly don't understand how attraction works, have you even listened to VV's music" says Mo
"VV isn't Tori, I'd know" says Andre as Cat gulps nervously
"right….. Ok, so you're saying it's possible that Tori's cheekbones are a common feature, that bone can readily form like that, you are annoyingly oblivious Andre Harris, have you actually listened to any of VV's music or do you just claim to instead of actually doing it" says Mo as Tori goes to sit down and eat her food with Trina
"do you know something I don't" asks Andre as Jade jumps in
"yes, she does Andre, Tori just bought a second lunch, Tori doesn't make enough money to do that kind of thing, you clearly set her off, she just sat down with Trina, something she has NEVER done at school before, there's a factor you're missing and it's pissing Tori off" says Jade
"Andre, here's the truth, Tori is VV, it stands for Victoria Whimsical Vega, you taught her how to write music Andre, a record label approached her while her and I were together, she refused unless she was allowed to go under a different name, she said you were more deserving of a record deal and that she wouldn't sign anything with any label as Tori out of sheer respect for you" says Cat
"why didn't she tell me" asks Andre
"because she likes you Andre, she didn't want you or anyone to be her friend for money reasons, she thought that if you knew you'd hate her, because before you taught her how to write music, anything she'd ever sang was your doing, she signed the contract because her dad was injured at his work and the money was a good idea, he couldn't work for two months and Holly is rarely ever home anymore, they'd have run out of food" says Cat
"but she dated you" says Andre
"ugh, she's bisexual Andre, she can have crushes on both boys and girls, Tori and I go way back, I began text dating her at ten, though we never met in person, we had maybe three video dates but I used a video filter to hide my face so when she met me on her first day she wasn't expecting it, I looked different than she thought I would look, I also acted differently, she didn't connect the dots until Robbie's hambone thing, which should tell you how nervous meeting her in person was for me" says Cat
"did she talk about me" asks Andre
"all the time, though she called it a fantasy because you've never shown any interest in her whatsoever, it depresses her Andre, the songs that aren't released under the VV name are about jumping out of a plane without a parachute or going for a swim and never coming back, like you she writes songs about what, she's feeling, though not all meet her approval for an album, the ones that do are changed enough to make it almost impossible to realize they're about suicide" says Cat
"you really think she wants to be with me, I'm African-American Cat, I don't get opportunities like that, I don't see her dad letting Tori text date someone, especially not at that age" says Andre
"it was an experiment Andre, set up by my mom and her dad, they wanted to see if Tori and I were gay, bi or straight, they were willing to take that risk" says Cat
"I don't like that you said your parents experimented on you, I'd have gone berserk on my dad if he experimented on me" says Mo
"you act like they didn't ask us first, Tori and I had both agreed, that's the first thing her and I talked about, we asked one another if we'd both agreed to take part in the experiment, to be honest it was more a test of my mom and her dad, my dad works in research, there was this test about fruity people and kids, a few kids were rehomed because they were in danger of being abused as a result of the research, a few boys came out as trans, a girl came out as bi, three girls as gay, the research was important, we got to pick who we text dated, I chose Tori and she chose me, it took a few years but her and I went from experimenting with our emotions to having full on feelings for one another" says Cat
"if her dad wasn't saying you couldn't be with Tori, would you get back together with her" asks Beck
"that's a hard question Beck, let's just say I wasn't happy with the slow pace the relationship took once we started in-person dating, I wanted more and Tori wasn't ready, I'd tried to pressure her into what I wanted, her dad was right to separate us, I'd have manipulated Tori without realizing that it was harmful, I took advantage of her nervousness, it wasn't a healthy relationship" says Cat
"does she still have a crush on Beck" asks Andre
"no, the whole platinum music awards situation changed things, she was vulnerable and Beck took advantage of her to try and get her to kiss him" says Cat
"I swear I wasn't trying to take advantage of her" says Beck
"it doesn't matter Beck, the point is you did, Danny did the same thing with the whole cheese fountain malfunction thing, I was in the bathroom getting cheese out of my hair, Tori apologized and was vulnerable, he took his chances and essentially convinced her that kissing him was a good idea" says Cat
"so about Tori, you're absolutely sure that she'd go on a date with me, she's way out of my league" asks Andre
"most of the girls you date are way out of your league Andre, however with Tori, don't mess around, if you don't have feelings for her let her know, don't lead her on, don't let her think you have feelings for her if you don't, that's as bad as what I did, pushing myself onto her is as bad as pity dating her, think it over for a few days, oh and don't tell her I told you she's VV, it was supposed to be a secret, she might bite me" says Cat

After school at Jade's house
"you're looking good Catarina, I'm glad to see my money is doing good" says Henry West
"don't patronize me Henry, you're ruining your family, you cheated on your wife twice, maybe more, you're pushing your youngest away and Jade begged me not to confront you, do you really want to die alone Henry" says Cat visibly angry
"I assume my ex told you this stuff" asks Henry
"no, Jade told me some of it, my family told me the rest, you have to understand that you turned your wife against us, you lied to her about our family history, you take one step outside of this country and you're as good as dead, you have the annoying habit of lying to people Mr. German Prince and now you're destroying your family" says Cat glaring at Jade's dad
"my father walked away from that life Miss Valentine, I may be German but I'm no prince, believe me I hate royalty, Jade doesn't talk to me, neither does my youngest, how am I supposed to realize my mistakes if they don't tell me" says Henry
"you're the adult, you control the money, I doubt they do anything that might upset you and make you withhold their allowance from them, especially not after their mom left, you control their lives, Jade hasn't done anything for herself in a year, not since her and Beck broke up, Beck said you seemed happy that Jade was miserable and that he wasn't going to stand in your way anymore, when they broke up I almost killed myself because I feared Jade would be more moody than ever, your actions have affected more than just your family, now either you make changes or my family sues you for custody and you give them their inheritance after the matter is decided, it's your choice, one you keep your standing in society, the other you face possible neglect charges" says Cat as Jade seems shocked at the information Cat has and its accuracy
"your family would really do that" asks Henry mulling over his options
"absolutely, my family isn't fascist, they never have been, they allied with the fascist government in Italy to save their heads, not because they believed fascism was the right choice, the moment a resistance movement showed up in Italy my family backed them, giving them guns and ammunition as well as access to several safe houses that were on protected land and therefore couldn't be raided by the Italian authorities, my extended family doesn't trust Jade with my safety because of the lies you spread, Jade's little sister says she doesn't feel safe here, if you don't change your ways, not only am I at risk of losing Jade but your youngest may kill herself before my family has a chance to save her" says Cat
"I said what I said back then because that's what my father told me, nobody ever told me I was wrong, I will gladly set the record straight and out my late father as a liar, take Hailey now if you must, I'd hate to see her gone because of a lie I believed, thank you for setting me straight, Jade, I will tell the bank to unlimit your bank account, find a safe place for Hailey, I know you care about her, I'm sorry I didn't see the lies for what they were, that makes me a horrible father" says Henry as Jade sighs
"dad, as much as I would like to agree that you were a terrible father, I wouldn't be here today and I certainly wouldn't be courageous enough to be dating Cat, I know a place where Hailey can go for the time being, I encourage you to go to therapy again, Hailey may be scared of you but it would be wrong to cut you off from her entirely, she does actually enjoy watching movies with you but any other time you scare her" says Jade
"be honest with me Jade, is she like you, does she like girls" asks Henry
"she won't tell me, all she does is salute her door when I ask, if you ask me, whoever she has feelings for has influence at her school and she's afraid they'll find out if she tells anyone" says Jade
"interesting, she also salutes the door when I ask about her best friend Marissa and how she did in the class election" says Henry
"Marissa is class president but not because she won the class vote, the person that won handed her the class president position, hoping that Marissa would feel safer as she has Portuguese and french ancestry and until that day where she was handed the class president position had been bullied quite a bit, as had Hailey, neither Marissa nor Hailey have been bullied since then, the class salutes Marissa but oddly enough Hailey isn't required to" says Jade
"I hope you know I accept that you're gay, last year when you came out to me I didn't know what that meant, I was scared, it was wrong of me to assume the worst, I can already tell Cat's a good influence on you" says Henry as Hailey hears those words from the top of the stairs
"Hailey go pack up clothes for a week, you have half an hour" says Jade as Hailey nods and heads to her room to pack
"where is she going, if you don't mind me asking" asks Henry
"Cat's house for now, I'm hoping to get Marissa on our side so Hailey can stay there" says Jade
"did they have a falling out or something, I remember them being inseparable not that long ago" asks Henry
"the school said Hailey and Marissa had a fight on Friday, though about what they can't be certain, only that Marissa hit Hailey, if I had to guess, I'd say that Hailey said something about how she felt after talking to Sofía on Thursday, normally Hailey and Sofía do not get along, though Sofía talked about Hailey this morning when I dropped her and Naomi off at school so something has changed" says Jade
"oh I hope you can help Hailey, I hate that I scare her, what about Chris, will he have to go anywhere" says Henry
"he's not scared of you, actually he thinks you scaring Hailey and I is cool" says Jade
"oh ok so therapy for him too then" asks Henry
"that would be way too expensive, it would be easier and cheaper to use your experience in therapy to correct his behaviour" says Jade
"why would it be expensive" asks Henry
"because your therapist thinks you're letting Jade molest him AND Hailey, sending Chris to therapy would mean the therapist would ask all these leading questions about Jade and you know he enjoys making fun of Jade, he might implicate her for fun Henry, until you set him straight on what's right and what's wrong regarding making fun of Jade there's too much at risk sending him to therapy" says Cat
"he could send you AND me to jail over a joke dad, he's a mini you right now, that's why I avoid him as much as possible" says Jade
"I'll talk to him Jade, you need talk to someone too, it's not safe to keep your experiences all bottled up" says Henry
"admit you made mistakes cheating on mom, also I am talking to people about it, Beck knows almost everything I've been through, I've been talking to Tori about it lately and as of last night I've been talking to Cat about it, I AM opening up to people" says Jade getting frustrated now as Hailey slowly walks down the stairs
"yes, I made a mistake cheating on your mom, I've made plenty of mistakes in my life Jade, your mom and I haven't been married since Hailey was born Jade, we stayed a family unit for you kids, she didn't leave because I got my assistant pregnant, she left because I talked about it with her in ear shot of you kids, that's what she had a problem with" says Henry
"then explain what happened" says Jade
"I'm a donor Jade, my assistant married a German American a few years ago, they couldn't get pregnant, they did a bunch of tests, it turns out her husband is shooting blanks due to a genetic disorder, her husband asked me to get her pregnant, I told them to go to the baby bank, that I made the mistake of cheating on my wife once, that I wouldn't do it again, I gave them all the information they needed to get my donated stuff" says Henry
"but you went to her house several times, I don't understand, why, would they do that" says Jade
"they wanted to celebrate the pregnancy from using my stuff from the baby bank, my assistant likes to celebrate milestones, they got confirmation that my stuff got her pregnant, then the first trimester came around and she wanted to celebrate again, same happened with the second and third trimesters, it hurt me more than you know, Hailey has my eyes and so does my assistants daughter" says Henry
"why didn't you tell me, I've been mad at you all this time for the wrong reasons" says Jade
"because I'm ashamed of it Jadelyn , after Hailey was born something happened to your mother, we tried for another girl, we tried for a whole year, her body stopped releasing eggs for some reason, she asked me to donate my stuff, to help girls who were having trouble getting pregnant, unfortunately as much as I didn't like the idea we needed the money at the time, I'd been delt a heavy tax bill because my business was still rather new, you were sick, Chris was sick and the doctors didn't think Hailey would survive catching the flu you and Chris had, Hailey had already had trouble breathing, the money I made donating saved your guys lives, I only continued because it would pay for any medical expenses Hailey had growing up, like I said I'm ashamed of it, I really don't like talking about it" says Henry
"is Marissa one of your donated kids, she has eyes like yours" asks Hailey now standing directly behind Henry
"no, Marissa isn't one of mine Hailey, Breanne, the girl you had over at the beginning of the year is, she wanted to be friends with you however Chris freaked her out and she won't come anywhere near you because of him" says Henry
"great so HE'S the reason nobody wants to be my friend, he's a creep dad, he stole Breanne's underwear and bra that night dad, she accused me of stealing them, he's also taken mine a few times, I HATE HIM, get me out of this house Sis, please" says Hailey running around to hide behind Jade and Cat
"ok, Dad take care of Chris, I mean it, I knew it was bad but not that bad" says Jade as she leaves with Hailey and Cat
