This technically is the most updated chapter on Archive of Our own so both are at the same place, for a short time.
Now to continue this film, and Night; I have plans for Spike.. rather brainstorming a chapter for the Spike and Big Mac to invite Yuga to their guys night. So look out for that chapter.
Once Twilight and her friends became sea ponies, she saw they were missing somepony. "Hey, where's Yuga? Did he fall in with us?" Everypony looked and saw she was right, Yuga wasn't with us. The six split up to find their friend, Applejack found the spot where they fell through and saw Yuga looking worried and pacing near the water. He did see Applejack and looked like he wanted to run up to her, but he stayed still. "Yuga, there you are. Come down here, the hippogriff has this beautiful underwater city." Yuga's reaction was to drop his ears and head. "I would love to see, but I actually never learned how to swim. I didn't want to try during this crisis." Applejack only smiled at this, Yuga was scared to follow his friends; so she went over to Yuga. "Don't worry about that, you can stay up here and make sure none of the Storm King's army finds us. I'll let the others know why you didn't follow us. After this invasion, we can solve that swimming problem; until then, you can watch. You have some power in that horn of yours." Yuga smiles and salutes before Applejack dives back under to let her friends know Yuga was safe and sound on land.
Yuga watched Applejack disappear back under the water with a smile, his friends were okay; he walked from the pond to where the balloon was in time to see an airship heading for the mountain. He got into a ready position and fired one laser beam at the approaching ship, barely hitting it as the unicorn with the damaged horn, Tempest Shadow, jumped down to meet this pony. "You must be that mysterious pony I saw that the princess, strange I don't remember her having another unicorn friend on her side." Yuga glared at Tempest, his horn lighting up and warming up another laser beam spell. "You are not allowed on this mountain, I suggest leaving now." Tempest laughs at the sight, a simple unicorn is threatening her to leave, her damaged horn lit up as it sends strikes of wild magic at Yuga. All but one miss, the one that hit went square in the chest; sending the pony flying. His cape flew off by the attack as Yuga stood still feeling the magic stirring in his body. His wings were open and dragging on the ground as Tempest stood there with a pleased grin on her face. "Oh, the Storm King will love to know there is another alicorn here. And a male one too," Tempest said as Yuga struggled to stand as his legs felt burned. A cage was dropped on the unsuspecting alicorn as he was lifted up and away from Tempest. He watched as Tempest took his cape and threw it to the winds, landing near the ocean as he collapsed to the bottom of the cage. "Please don't let her find them," Yuga said as the ship carried him back to the palace where the festival was.
Twilight would try to steal a pearl to hopefully use against the Storm King and it would send her and her friends flying out of the underwater city and on land by the queen of the hippogriffs. There they wondered if Yuga was alright as Rainbow spotted the old green cape caught on a rock. It was partly scorched by magic. "I think Tempest found Yuga, she must have either turned him to stone or caged him." Rainbow said but Pinkie wasn't having it, she was mad at Twilight for using her friends to distract while she tried to steal the hippogriffs' magical pearl without telling them. And after Twilight snapped at them, they separated from her; Rainbow saying something on wanting to rescue Yuga but Twilight was too busy crying over what had happened to show that she cared. Unfortunately, Twilight would be captured as well and taken to the castle by Tempest and hearing her mention a firth alicorn caught her attention.
"You.. you have Yuga?"
"Oh, is that his name? He didn't tell me before capturing him. He's not very talkative in that cage of his. However his magic is not what we were looking for, as he is not of Equestrian royalty so I am afraid we still need you, your highness." Tempest said before they took off for the palace. To which Twilight noticed how run down Equestria looked, if she looked close enough; some smoke could show where Yuga's crashed vessel was. But all she could think about was how she failed friendship as she was lowered into the palace where the fellow princess was in stone and a lone cage, holding Yuga, his wings over his face in an attempt to hide the fact he was crying. Though mostly from the pain of his magic burns.
"Yuga, are you okay?" Yuga does look over at Twilight, she sees the sad expression she saw on his first night in her castle. "Who knew magic burns hurt this much? Either that, or the burns I got from the crash were not completely healed and got worse from Tempest's attack. But what about you, where is everyone else?" Twilight avoided eye contact when he asked as she told him what happened.
"I will agree with your friends, that was a risky move to make.. but in this situation, there are no real good answers when faced with this kind of problem. These kinds of situations bring out traits in us that we normally don't do. Trust me, I speak from experience." Yuga said as he smiles at Twilight before they are interrupted by the arrival of the Storm King.
The Storm King looked age-like to Yuga as he watched him enter and talk about how Equestria needed a makeover and in his hand was a staff that is forced down into a design with the four princesses surrounding it, three being stone statues as Twilight was still in her cage. Yuga could only cover his eyes as the magic was absorbed out of the princesses and fueled the staff before Tempest would ask about Yuga. "Is he royalty here?"
"No, but he is friends with that so-called princess of friendship." Tempest said as The Storm King replied in an aggressive tone. "He may be one of them, but he is weak; you said he barely stood a chance against you. So his magic might as well be useless." "Useless?" Yuga thought as he gasped and only looked at the floor of his cage.
"He is not useless, he is just still learning that's all!" Twilight said as the Storm King swung his staff down on Twilight, breaking her cage as she ducks the staff and runs for Yuga's.
Tempest doesn't try to stop Twilight as she was with the Storm King and tells him the new magic he has now as Twilight tries to think of a way to free Yuga. Her hooves didn't break the metal used to hold him; and with her magic gone, she couldn't break it with a laser beam. Yuga did see her attempt to break his cage, "Why? What can I do to help with this? I am outside my element, I would be making a machine to best this Storm King."
"Why? Because you are my friend Yuga, simple as that. And friends help each other when they need help. Now help me figure out a way to get you out of that cage." Yuga looked at the Storm King and thought 'his staff can break this cage' "His staff, it broke your cage. So it should break this one."
Twilight had a goal now, to free Yuga by getting the Storm King to hit the cage with his staff; when the front doors swung open, showing her friends racing in to rescue them. A Pinkie gasp is heard when she sees Yuga, and he only dropped his head to the floor of his cage. "He's an alicorn! Did you know he was an alicorn too Twilight?" Twilight had to say yes, Applejack and Rainbow also said they knew but kept it a secret to not bring attention to Yuga. "We wanted to tell you guys, but since Yuga haven't met you guys beforehoof; we didn't want to break his trust." Twilight said as Pinkie looked to calm down and then walked to Yuga's cage. "When we break you out, I am throwing you a party in honor of you helping us save Equestria. And when you are ready, a party is in the works for your alicorn status." Yuga softly smiled and nodded in response, "Thanks Pinkie; now to break this cage so I can earn that party."
After a good number of bucks from Applejack, the cage broke, freeing Yuga as he stood on his unstable legs. Feeling the full effect of the magic burns, but still willing to help his new friends. They had knocked the staff into a stained glass window and were reaching to grab it. Seeing the staff, Yuga made a mad dash for it; his wings flapping faster and faster as he took to the air and reached the staff just as the Storm King rammed into him. Breaking the window and sending the two into the massive storm outside. Yuga quickly refocused his wings and had the staff close to his chest when his horn reacted to the magic in the staff. He held it out as the magic glowed orange, and his memory of his ace Sevens Road Magician appears doing his attack. "The magic is calling me, but why? And why my Sevens Road Magician?" That was when he saw the Storm King racing the wind, trying to get his staff back. Yuga then lifted the staff up, swirling it around as magic symbols surrounded him, before pointing it at the Storm King. "Sevens Magic," he said as he pointed the staff down with a beam of orange magic exited and hit the Storm King to the ground. The storm became caked in the warm orange color as Yuga moved back to the broken window and saw Twilight and her friends were safe as he went to land, staff still in his hoof.
