Finally found enough time to finish this chapter. I must apologize for the late chapter upload. work, college, and life in general been stealing my free time as well as Go Rush decided to wreck my entire plan for this story.

not spoiling but it does change the ending of this story a bit, but I will continue like nothing has changed for now.

Now to today's chapter, Yuga meets the Young/Student 6, enjoy

Days went by as Twilight watched the school of friendship being built as Yuga was a volunteer, using his magic to help the ponies get equipment. When not helping the school, Yuga was with Big Mac, moving his ship from the more dangerous Everfree Forest to a spot near Sweet Apple Acres. In exchange for helping, Yuga also helped the Apples with morning chores since he was taking their strongest pony to help. He would buck trees and use his magic to make sure apples landed in the baskets. "I say you could have helped us with harvests more often Yuga," Applebloom said as they counted the apples harvested that day. "It's the least I can do, I am borrowing your brother to move my ship; so I feel helping with chores is payment." Applejack agreed as Yuga moved back to his ship, knowing he was a long way from returning home. Hovering one of the cards, Dragias, in his face; he smiled. "We will have that rematch, Luke; I just need to get there first."

Once the school was finished, it was a sight to see and if Yuga wasn't careful, he would call it a possible play castle; it was still beautiful to look at. The stained glass showing Twilight was in front of the entrance door with a splitting waterfall. "If magic can do this, I could be getting home pretty quickly actually.. but do I?" Unknown to Twilight and the Mane 6, Yuga was actually having self doubt of leaving. Mostly because his dreams were still showing the same Neighsay pony causing trouble for the school. He was invented in Equestria, not knowing when the next time, if ever, to leave. For the most part, Yuga kept that fact to himself; not wanting to make his new friends know this. With this fact, Yuga decided to walk in as he heard Rainbow complaining about being called an egghead. "Oh come on Rainbow, where I come from I am what you call an egghead." Yuga said as she looked at him, "you like being smarty, I would agree Twilight might have a challenge with you. I mean, you built your ship right?" Yuga rubbed a hoof behind his head, "I wouldn't say built but I did modify it; so you may have a point." Twilight then said she wanted her friends to all be teachers and/or staff for the school. "Yuga, it's up to you if you still want to help. I doubt the teacher would be good as you are only temporary here." Twilight begins as Yuga thinks this idea over. "I know what I can do, I can be a hall monitor of sorts. Making sure students are not causing trouble and are in their respected classes." Twilight nods as she likes the idea, "excellent Yuga; I'll have something made for you to wear here that shows you are a monitor." Yuga smiles as he hears several voices behind the main door, "the students are here. I'll get to meet so many more ponies now."

"One thing, it's not just ponies," Twilight said as the door opened and several ponies entered with five different creatures entering in the front. "I figured you, not being a pony, would find it more comfortable and so we can teach non-ponies about the magic of friendship." Twilight said as Yuga nods and watches as the new creatures are introduced to the others. It was exciting if not almost familiar to Yuga when meeting a blue griffin named Gallus. He was doing it when Rainbow feared she would get hired as a teacher and Yuga couldn't help but walk over and join in the chat. "Hey, being smart doesn't equal not being cool." Rainbow was quick to throw a hoof over Yuga's shoulder in response. "Yeah, this one here modified his own ride here; and he is both smart and cool." The blush on Yuga was immediate as his ears dropped, "Rainbow, I'm not that special to you ponies. Just a lost pony visiting." Gallus noted the mention of a lost pony, while Spike talked with two dragons, one being a student of the school. Smolder, an orange dragon with light purple spines and tail tip, was talking with Spike about the school and asking about him as he was the dragon that helped the current dragon lord, Ember, win the race that dragons did to pick a leader. Soon Twilight was announcing to the students about the rules of the school, "now if you need help or are seen not in a classroom, we have a pony wandering the halls. Yuga please raise your hoof," Yuga does so, making sure to show his jacket as a way to identify him. "Yuga here could find and help you with your problems. Please treat him respectfully, like one of the teachers here." All the ponies nod as they move to get their schedules and move to their first day of classes.

Yuga walked through the now empty hallways, listening to the friendship lessons being taught as when he saw a crystal in a walk he looked at himself. He had a name tag, with his name on it, on his jacket. Telling others he was the hall monitor. "Gakuto would be shocked if he saw me." Yuga thought before his thoughts stopped by the sounds of six voices in the further hallway. He ran to where the voices were as he saw six students, Gallus and Smolder in a head push, Sandbar an earth pony watching worried; Ocullus, a young changeling hiding being a yak named Yona. Yuga was quick to activate his magic and move the two fighting creatures, "hey break it up" he said as tried to figure out what happened. "Smolder thinks dragons are too tough for friendship and Gallus was messing with her." Sandbar said as Yuga nodded, "I think this school is teaching friendship wrong, it's almost as bad as where I come from in terms of how schools teach. But because the E.E.A way is the only way, I guess we can't fight it yet." Gallus looked at Yuga, his smirk turned to a frown. He almost saw how lost Yuga was in this world as something to relate to. "Yeah, I guess you are right; I'm sorry Smolder." Gallus said as Smolder looked shocked before Yuga moved in first, saying he would make sure they got to class. "I may disagree with the system, but if it helps others know what friendship; then it's all good I guess." With that, the Young 6 followed Yuga to their class as he noticed how quiet Gallus was now.

The next few days were simple for Yuga, during the day he was the monitor walking the halls, helping lost students, and even talking with Gallus when available. Now Yuga was at the lake near the school, it was a break in the empty hallways. He stared at his pony reflection in the lake, "I shouldn't recognize myself like this.. have I been here long enough that this feels familiar?" He taps the water with a hoof, rippling it and for a second he sees his previous look. The 11 year old human child he was before coming to Equestria. He was so far in his thoughts that he failed to notice the Young 6 had sneaked out of class for a mental break and was also heading for the lake. They were shocked to see the monitor at the lake and looking at his reflection like it was a stranger. A light pink hippogriff named Silversteam ran up and startled the pony. "Hey, what brings you here?" She said in an exciting tone as Yuga shrugs, "I don't know; I needed a breather. I rarely give myself one." Sandbar asked if they were going to be sent back to class since he was still on the clock. "I mean, I'm not in the school; as long as you don't cause trouble. I guess we can stay here for some time." The Young 6 breathed a sigh of relief and joined Yuga in enjoying the beauty of the lake and the surrounding area. Gallus couldn't shake off the fake smile Yuya had while they were talking. "Yuga, you told me and Rainbow you were a lost pony. What did you mean by that?" Yuga blinks as he hears the question and thinks about how to answer. "Let's just say I am not supposed to be here or look like this." He sent his magic to the lake as he showed his human reflection.

"That's me, the real me; the one hidden by this place's rules. I was taken in by Twilight until I could fix my vessel and return to my friends and family back home." Everyone was shocked when seeing what Yuga is; a lost pony, no human, from home. Gallus quickly went to apologize but Yuga shook his head. "No, it's fine; I know I am just lost, but I am glad to know that the world I land in was filled with helpful creatures. I don't want that fact to change anything, but I know I was not supposed to be here. So I plan to leave before the year is over hopefully." "Well, now I can be a friend too, Yuga," Gallus said as the topic changed to wanting to race around the lake. Soon the 7 creatures were running, enjoying each other's company, but when Yona trips on one of her braided hair, Sandbar catches her as Sliverstream and Smolder grab Yona from behind, lifting the yak into the sky. Yuga watched as Sandbar was picked up by Gallus and Ocullus moved to pick him up, now the group was enjoying the feeling of flying. Even Yuga loved the feel, as he was reminded he was a hiding alicorn and technically could fly without the help of the shy changeling. It's when they were talking about how weird it was to see a flying yak when Ocullus offers to make something weirder, she immediately turned into a large bug creature, it's multiple legs holding Yuga as it flew with the group; everyone laughing before Ocullus accidentally crashed into a tower when Yuga heard Neighsay and Twilight. "Those are students?" Yuga straightened and looked at Neighsay worried, the dream in his head once more as he moved to walk up to Neighsay. "Is there a problem sir? We were just getting a mental break from the school day." "Ah, I remember seeing you with Twilight when discussing this school; so you state those creatures are students?" Yuga frowns, "yes they are; I was about to get them back to class after the break when we got carried away with the fun." Neighsay sends a glare at Yuga before speaking back with Twilight as the leaders of the Young 6 showed up. Yuga had enough when he heard Neighsay talking down the other creatures like they were behind him, so he went to stand in between Neighsay and the leaders. "Look mister, just because they are not like you doesn't mean they aren't capable of learning like ponies. Maybe if you allow it, it could change the way everyone sees each other." Neighsay shoves his hoof into Yuga's chest as he stands his ground, "so you believe these creatures are harmless. I mean have you heard what they could do to ponies like us?" "No, but you know what? I don't care, I want everyone to be friends with each other and that includes those that don't look like me. Maybe you should think of that idea and maybe this place can be kinder to others." Neighsay heard none of this and swiftly moved to close the school down for not meeting E.E.A standards and leaving as quickly as he arrived; leaving a shocked Twilight and a worried Yuga. The Young 6 saw Yuga place a hoof where Neighsay shoved him before turning and walking off, talking softly to himself and possibly Twilight as she looked down defeated.

and I decided that Gallus and Yuga can bond over both being technically lost as a later episode shows Gallus is all by himself in the griffins. wait till I did to that Christmas episode/chapter.
