That was fast for me, finishing this chapter within days of uploading the last one. Don't expect that from me, but i do have a planned special chapter for the anniversary of this story on Archives of your Own. Find out later, for now; Let's move on to the main event.

I own nothing of this story

The castle is completely quiet, minus the soft crying of Twilight in a fort of pillows on her bed. Spike would walk in to check on her and even notice how one room was always empty.. Yuga's room. Soon the rest of the Mane 6 were in Twilight's room and trying to cheer up the sad princess of friendship. Where Twilight was glad to see her friends were worried about her, she noticed the missing alicorn in the room. "Thanks girls and Spike, but where's Yuga? He looked pretty destroyed by the school closing too." With that question, everypony looked at each other before Applejack spoke for the group. "We haven't seen him since the school closed. I even checked where his ship was and it was empty, like there were signs he was messing with wires; but no he wasn't there." Spike nods, "he's never been to his room either, his cards are the only things missing from it." Twilight was shocked, "I think he is taking that seriously, and he tried to warn me about his worries about Neighsay and I kinda ignored them all until he talked about the others like they were below him."

"Wait he warned you about Neighsay?" Rainbow asked as Spike explained how Yuga saw a Neighsay like pony talking similar to different creatures like lesser ones. "How? It's not like he chose to predict the future in his home world." Rainbow asks as Twilight climbs off her bed and begins explaining. "He's an alicorn, they can get dreams that are actually visions of future events. I never got one yet, but Yuga's magic creates them in his dreams of what Spike told me he saw one time. So most likely he had similar dreams that predicted things in his world. All the more to locate him and make sure he is ok." With the new encouragement, the Mane 6, Starlight, and Spike ran from the castle to locate their missing friends and figure out what to do about the school of friendship.

A few hours ago:

Yuga was in his ship, using his magic to fix wires and getting his mind off what Neighsay said and the school closing shortly after. "Not only was that dream accurate, but it even got Neighsay's voice and mindset. This alicorn magic is something I want to study while here if I want to understand it better and speed up my ability to get home." His thoughts were stopped by the sound of something scratching on the outside wall of the ship. Yuga straightens, makes sure his jacket is on, covering his wings, and walks out to see who or what it was and was surprised by the visitor. It was Gallus, the griffin from the school and he looked glad to see he found the lost pony. "Yuga, good I found where you are." Gallus said as Yuga stares curious, "Why were you looking for me? Shouldn't you be at home where griffins live?" Yuga remembered the split second painful expression before it returned to a smile. "Yeah, I should be there; but me and my friends from the school are hiding out in the ruins of an old castle. I was thinking you could join us, you look to be by yourself and I figured you could use some friends." Yuga smiled at the statement, he technically was never alone as long as he had the cards for his friends with him. So he thought about the suggestion and at where Sweet Apple Acres started before nodding at the griffin. "Sure, why not? A chance away from my ship would probably do me some good." With that the pony and griffin disappeared into the forest to where the Castle of the Two Sisters was.

Present day

Twilight was walking to her closed school, the lock on the door looked like a letter stamp, showing Twilight's failure on full display. It's not until Starlight gives her the talk she needed and even throws the E.E.A book of rules into the moat surrounding the school that she discovers that the school was successfully without the rules, as they were not for teaching friendship. "Yuga did say that the method used looked to not be working on the subjects of friendship. As he caught a fight between some of the students while you were going E.E.A crazy with the rules." Starlight said as almost a reminder, they had searched every place that Yuga could be; from his ship to fields where he often watches the night sky as if searching for the way back. There was no sight of the disguised alicorn, and Twilight felt what happened had made Yuga feel uncomfortable as he got angry at Neighsay and looked destroyed by the school closing. "I guess Yuga kept that to himself as he never wanted to feel responsible for closing the school. Which is why I need to reopen the school and get the students back to show him that he was not to blame." Both ponies nod as they send the Mane 6 to get the Student 6.. only for them to also be missing as well.

The leaders were in Celestia's throne room, threatening war if the students were not found. That's when Twilight figured something out, "wait; we are also missing our friend Yuga; he was the last pony to be seen with the students in question. Perhaps they invited him to join them in hiding or something similar." Celestia nods and asks that everyone stay calm and leave locating the students to Twilight and her friends. Which they took seriously in Sugar Cube Corner, where Pinkie works and makes all things sweet and covered in icing. It's when Sandbar enters and orders a large amount of cupcakes that they realize he might be the best clue to finding the students and possibly Yuga.

Meanwhile with the Student 6:

The rundown castle was the temporary home of the six students and former hall monitor, Yuga was more curious about the old fabric hanging in sections of the castle while the others waited for Sandbar to return with more food for the group. The moment Yuga joined the group of students, he felt welcomed immediately. Apparently, they sent Gallus to try and get Yuga as he was having fun with them before the school closed. They were impressed he stood up to Neighsay when calling out their leaders and treating them like equals.

The First Night:

It was after the first night that Yuga actually made a big change in their connection. It was because he was doing his star glazing when he heard the Student 6 walk by him and joined him. "Your home is somewhere up there?" Silversteam asked as Yuga nodded, "Yup I crashed here about a month ago. I was caught in the wires which burned some parts of my legs, it wasn't until Applejack and Twilight found me that I was freed and treated in Twilight's castle." Yuga smiles before running a hoof over his jacket. "You know, there is another reason Twilight let me stay in her castle. I don't want to keep this secret from those I befriend here. Just know, this is a secret for my own safety and to not throw the world off balance. Can I trust you guys with this knowledge?" Yuga asked as he saw Gallus put a claw forepaw in front of him, Silversteam following with her forepaw. One by one, each one of the Student 6 put a hoof, claw, or paw in the middle; showing they say yes as they see Yuga remove his jacket and to their surprise, didn't put a hoof in the center but a wing popped out of the jacket and joined them. Sandbar stared at the wing before looking at the horn on Yuga's head. "You're an alicorn?" Yuga immediately retreats his wing and nods, "I came here as one; I don't know why I was chosen to be an alicorn here, but I am and I can't change that." Yuga stands and walks back to a shaded area where the group rested, the unsure face was present and affecting everyone. Gallus was the first to run and join Yuga, "so what, you are some super powerful pony. You know what that makes you?" Gallus states as the other circle Yuga, "it makes you special and if you can treat us like equals then why can't we do the same?" Gallus puts his forepaw in the center as the others gladly follow, topping off with Yuga using his wing again as they lift them up and enjoy the rest of their night peacefully.

After that first night, Yuga never wore his jacket; showing his true status to the others and playfully flying with the others who fly and even using his magic to lift Yona so she could join in the flying fun. He did apologize to Ocullus for making her fly him back to the lake, which she doesn't mind; "you had to hide who you are while at the school, it's all good Yuga." Both smiled and went to join Silversteam as she excitedly discovered stairs. Sandbar had returned during the talk and brought delicious cupcakes with him and Yuga ate 2 of the cupcakes before seeing a couple of small, rolling creatures heading for them.

"Oh no, the food is luring creatures from the forest." Ocullus looks excited to see the creatures, "it's a Pukwudgie." "A what?"

"You didn't pay attention to Fluttershy's class did you?" Ocullus then tried to transform into a Pukwudgie and moved to try and befriend it, but it didn't work. The Pukwudgie turned feral and started calling other Pukwudgies to attack the group. It's at that moment that a flash image appeared to Yuga, it was of his friend's ace Dragias' main attack and second attack. To the others taking cover, Yuga's eyes turn red for a split second as he flies up and hovers in front of the circling Pukwudgies. His horn glows a deep shade of green as he is so soon surrounded by the green magic and a roar is heard, "Striking Bullet of Explosive Supremacy!" The green magic is sent out in three separate blasts before merging and knocking several Pukwudgies back while the Student 6 watched both curious and a bit worried. It's not until the rest of the Mane 6 show up that they tackle most of the Pukwudgies while Yuga builds up more magic, this time orange instead of green. He spread his wings wide as a similar roar is heard as the Dragias' card is sent to Twilight hooves. "Dragon King Strike of Annihilative Supremacy!" The orange magic sends the final Pukwudgie packing as Yuga blinks, the anger expression vanishes and is replaced by confusion and exhaustion as he floated back to the ground softly.

Twilight ran with the card to see if Yuga was okay and asked about the spells used. "I.. I don't know, a thought entered my head and then I did it." Twilight held the Dragias card out as Yuga put two and two together. "Dragias.. I thought of him and then my alicorn magic made the signature attacks into spells here.. That's what happened with the Storm King and Sevens Road Magician." Pinkie then pointed out that his alicorn status was shown to the students. "It's okay, he trusted us with that knowledge; we'll keep it a secret for him." Gallus said as the others were happy to be saved but told they needed to return home or their land would go to war with each other. Yuga did apologize for possibly scaring the others, as he technically was scared of what his magic just did; evidence was the scorch marks on the ground from both attacks. Thankfully they were understanding and Ocullus said she was still learning her magic too. "Alright, let's get you guys back for school tomorrow." Yuga looked confused, "School tomorrow? But the school was closed by Neighsay wouldn't it?" Yuga nods as Twilight nods, "I should have kept your worries in mind when running the school. If you come back, you can be in charge of making sure all students are having fun learning about friendship. I did find what you said to Neighsay helpful and it worked on some students I see. That and I would like to get to the bottom of those spells you used." Yuga smiles and nods, accepting the role as the group walks back; Yuga now with his jacket on and walking slowly as he tired himself out with the two Dragias spells. Gallus noticed the tired Yuga and with help from Smolder, they carried him out for the forest and to the castle near the school.

The group of the Mane 6 and Student 6 made it to the sealed off school as Twilight used a spell to break it; which summoned Neighsay to the school front door, stopping the group from entering. Twilight stood her ground at her demand that the school was staying open, despite not meeting the E.E.A standard and Yuga motioned Gallus and Smolder to put him by Twilight. "You may not see the other creatures of Equestria as peaceful creatures, but from my experience." Yuga looked at the Young 6 proudly, "they are more than capable to learn the magic of friendship. And without the rules of your E.E.A standards and your.. your rotton ideas. And as the appointed monitor of friendship here, I suggest you could join us and learn that every creature can understand friendship the same way. Some just need a little help understanding it." Yuga said as he felt a small bolt of energy enter his body as Neighsay frowned at him. "The other creatures are not capable of learning with ponies like you think pal." Yuga only laughs at the statement, using the newly formed energy to help. "Is that so? Well then the last day or so was just a trick by the griffin then as you think they are bad guys. If anything, you and your idea of these guys are why they don't trust ponies. If the one in charge of the education system thinks anything not a pony is immediately bad and has no chance of redemption. Well, I think you need more than a few friendship classes here if you think this." Neighsay didn't show his surprise from what Yuga said and only left saying this wasn't over and walked back through the portal he came out of with everyone cheering at their success. "Wow, I didn't expect you to say that to him, Yuga. Bet you feel pretty good after that." Pinkie said as Yuga giggled, "I just spoke what I thought needed to be said. And it worked, he is leaving us alone for now and we can continue running the school now." Pinkie already had her party cannon loaded and fired it immediately, launching confetti everywhere as everyone flooded into the school. The day continued with everyone liking the teaching methods for friendship used since no one had to force them to teach the proper way and Yuga walked in the halls, peeking in the classrooms to see the students learning the wonders of friendship and getting along with everyone.

Meanwhile at the Tree of Harmony, the newly grown branch grew longer and a small red gem is seen; while in Twilight's castle the previous small crystal stump was now larger and a path of crystal is forming, connecting to the map table now.

And done, surprising I only needed one chapter for the rest of the premiere; and yes the element just keeps growing. places your bets on what the element represents in Yuga in a review. as of the next chapter...
