Battle of Giants
When Lisker's fist came in contact with Sho's energy shield, the younger Guyver felt the power behind his foe's attack despite the energy shield absorbing most of the blow. Undeterred, Lisker activated the two vibration blades on his left arm, extending at least two feet, and struck once again. Seeing the attack coming, Sho broke away from the green Gigantic Guyver, avoiding the vibration blades while Lisker assumed a fighting stance with his left side facing Sho. Lisker chuckled as he waited for Sho to make his move, causing Sho to tense up as he assumed a basic guard stance.
To the remaining students and Glynda, the sight of these two massive armored warriors looked like something out of an old legend. Remembering the footage of Sho using the Gigantic during the Breach, Glynda was horrified that this other Guyver was using the same upgraded armor. She watched in stunned horror as she saw the green Gigantic fire three head beams at the golden Gigantic, only for the golden one to dodge the attack while firing three shots of his own. The green one created a small energy shield to block the shots before charging at his foe. Glynda was shocked to see a pair of large organic pack-like components open up and a burst of some unknown energy propelled the green Gigantic at speeds she never expected something of its size was capable before ramming into the golden Gigantic.
Sho didn't expect Lisker to figure out how to use the Gigantic's bio-plasma jets so quickly, yet just as soon as Lisker reached him, Sho was able to grab Lisker's arms but was still pushed out of the school grounds. However, Sho wasn't about to let Lisker keep the upper hand as he activated his plasm jets, slowing them down before forcing the two of them up into the air. Surprised with how Sho was able to change their course, Lisker kicked Sho's stomach, forcing the younger Guyver to let go of the older one. Now free, Lisker activated his gravity orbs to keep himself in the air while Sho did the same.
"That was quite impressive Sho," Lisker said as his head sensors detected two Atlesian airships approaching them.
Rather than say anything, Sho flew at Lisker, the spike just above his chest plates lengthening to at least two feet. He also activated his barrier as well as the gravity orbs to increase the power for his attack. Lisker barely had enough time to dodge the attack, but managed to evade Sho's charge but at the cost of his left hand.
Lisker yelled out in pain after his left hand was obliterated, but he stopped yelling as he turned to glare at the golden Gigantic.
"You…little son of a bitch!" Lisker yelled as activated the two vibration blades on his left forearm and the single blade on his right arm before flying at Sho, who had stopped after missing Lisker.
Sho turned around in time to see Lisker reach him, activating his right vibration blade on instinct, then swinging his right arm at Lisker. However, Lisker used the two vibration blades on his left arm to block Sho attack while increasing the length on his right blade before swinging it at Sho's head. Sho raised his left arm up, blocking Lisker's attack with his other vibration blade.
The two Gigantic Guyvers found themselves in a deadlock as they struggled to force one another away with sheer brute force. Realizing that the current approach wasn't working, Lisker kicked Sho's stomach area with enough force to knock the younger Guyver off balance, resulting in two Guyvers backing away from each other. Retracting his vibration blades, Lisker quickly placed the palms of his hands together after stretching his arms forward before firing a pressure cannon at Sho.
With little time, Sho was unable to create an energy barrier to block the pressure cannon. Instead, he shifted his body backwards to avoid the gravity attack, grazing his left chest plate that left a sizable mark on the organic armor.
'Shit, that was close,' Sho mentally cursed as he flew at Lisker with a charged-up fist.
Lisker powered up his own fist and struck at Sho at the same time as his younger foe. The two Gravity Knuckle attacks collided, causing a powerful shockwave that knocked the two Gigantic Guyvers away from each other. Lisker recovered first and was about to continue his attack against Sho, but his head sensors detected the two Atlesian airships from before approaching them.
"I guess these fools really want to die," Lisker said to himself before taking off toward the two ships. "Well, I shouldn't disappoint them," he added as he activated the plasma jets on his back to give him a greater boost of speed.
Atlesian Airship: Callsign Blue-6
"Captain, we have a hostile inbound!" the Atlesian soldier standing in front of the radar informed the ship's captain.
"Can you ID the hostile?" the captain demanded as he looked through the front of his ship, seeing mostly Grimm that were being shot at by the ship's anti-air guns.
"Negative sir," the soldier told the captain. "But the speed of it is nothing like the Grimm!" he cried out as he noticed the dot approaching their ship faster than anything he ever seen before.
Hearing this, the captain glared at the approaching threat. His men went through so much trouble wrestling control of their ship from the mysterious virus that infected their systems. After regaining control of the ship, the crew of Blue-6 had met up with White-9, whose crew had also succeeded in freeing their ship from the same virus. Now an unknown hostile was approaching, and he doesn't have any idea what it was.
"Gunners!" the captain shouted. "Target the approaching hostile," he ordered his men. "We will not let that…!" the captain was cut off when he felt a sharp stinging feeling in the middle of his chest.
The crew in the bridge of the ship looked to see two strange flat objects pierce the glass of the ship's bridge and impale the captain. It was at that point the two objects started whipping around, slicing up the crew in the bridge before any of them could react. Blood and body parts flew all over the bridge as the crew screamed in horror as they were being cut apart until there was nothing but silence.
Outside of the ship, Lisker floated in front of Blue-6 as he retracted his vibration blades. Seeing how the ship was still in the air, Lisker pulled his right arm back before activating the larger vibration blade and swung it at the base of the ship's bridge. Lisker watched as the bridge awkwardly slid off of the rest of the ship as it started to take a nose dive toward the outskirts of Vale.
"One more to go," Lisker said as he turned his attention toward White-9.
The ship in question fired a barrage at Lisker after seeing what happened to Blue-6, but Lisker evaded the barrage of projectiles and was about to make his way toward the remaining Atlesian airship. Before he could begin his counter attack, Lisker's head sensors detected movement from his right side, causing him to break off from his attack as a pressure cannon flew right by him. Lisker didn't even need to look to know who it was that fired that black hole at him.
Streets of Vale
"Looks like we got all of the Grimm in this area," Sky said as he looked over the damaged street his team and team NDGO were on.
"That's a relief," Dove said as he lowered his sword while letting out a huge sigh. "I thought they would never stop," he complained.
"Yeah, but I don't think our troubles are over just yet," Gwen said, drawing three knives from her dress's pouches.
Before either boy could ask what Gwen was talking about, they spotted several of the Atlesian Knights that dropped from the sky not too long ago start to stand up. At first, the boys thought the fallen robots were activating and were about to aid them, but those thoughts were crushed when they saw the robots aim their rifles at the eight students.
"W-w-whoa, wait a minute here," Dove stuttered as he backed away a bit from the Atlesian Knights.
"You got to be kidding me," Dew said as she held her spear tightly.
Most of teams CRDL and NDGO backed away from the group of robots, keeping their Auras up just in case they started shooting. Russel glared at the robots while inching closer toward them much to his team and Nebula's horror.
"Russel, are you crazy!" Cardin yelled at his team's Zoanoid.
"Listen to me Russel," Nebula called out to Russel while she moved slowly toward him. "We need to fall back for now," she told him.
Before Russel could do anything, gunfire was heard and two of the Atlesian Knights dropped to the ground, their heads blown off. The eight teenagers turned to look at where the gunshots came from and saw General Ironwood approach them, his uniform torn up, but the Atlesian General was undeterred. Seeing the new target enter the area, the Atlesian Knights aimed their weapons at James.
Before any of the Knights could fire, a motorcycle came flying toward the robots, taking down three of them much to the surprise of the Atlas General. James caught sight of a green blur out of the corner of his eye before seeing Russel jump onto another Knight, knocking it down before stomping its head. The sight of the metal casing being crushed as sparks shot out was like a less gory version of seeing a human skull going through the same thing, which made a few of the teens present feel uncomfortable.
"That's…kind of gross," Octavia remarked, imagining the scene differently.
James, on the other hand was impressed as he watched Russel turned to face the Atlesian Knights that began firing at him. Rather than dodge the shots, Russel stood his ground, barely feeling the shots hitting him before rushing toward the closest Knight, plunging his left clawed hand into its chest, his claws tearing through the metal as if it was made out of tin foil.
'Incredible…' James mentally said as he, team NDGO, and the rest of team CRDL continued watching Russel tear through his robots.
Up in the air
The battle between Sho and Lisker continued as Lisker landed on the deck of White-9, lengthening his right vibration blade before striking at Sho, who was charging at him from above. The right vibration blade was lengthened to such an extent that it had pierced through the ship and carved its way out, resulting in the ship splitting as it came crashing toward the ground. This did not bother Lisker as he was more focused on Sho, seeing the golden Gigantic dodge his strike before firing three head beams at the green Gigantic. While still standing on the crashing airship, Lisker created an energy shield to block the shots before taking to the air to continue the fight.
The two Gigantic Guyvers flew toward each other once again, Sho charging up another Gravity Knuckle while Lisker activated the vibration blades on his left arm. Both Gigantics threw out their attacks while dodging the incoming attacks, however Lisker redirected his vibration blades to slash at Sho's back causing the younger Guyver to cried out in pain as he spun around to see the blades coming at him once again. Sho activated his barrier to block the attacks while the armor quickly healed from the previous attack.
Seeing Sho surround himself in an energy barrier, Lisker retracted his vibration blades before charging at Sho, charging both of his fists before striking at the barrier with his left fist, then his right fist immediately after the first strike. Sho could feel the energy barrier start to give way after the second Gravity Knuckle attack. Lisker pulled his right arm back while charging his left fist for another Gravity Knuckle, which Sho saw as his chance to counterattack as he deactivated the barrier and struck out with his right vibration blade, cutting a section of his right Energy Amp above his shoulder causing Lisker to shout in pain as he continued his attack at Sho.
The Gravity Knuckle attack managed to hit Sho, knocking him down for a moment before he used the plasma jets on his back to slow his descent. Sho looked up to see Lisker flying toward him, activating his chest spike to lengthen.
'He's figured out the Gravity Ram attack,' Sho bitterly thought as he flew out of Lisker's path, narrowly avoiding the attack before flying off in another direction. 'I need to come up with some way to beat him,' he thought as he flew toward another of the airships that were still in the air.
After missing Sho with his Gravity Ram attack, Lisker managed to stop himself and reposition himself to see Sho flying away.
"I never took you for a coward Fukamachi!" Lisker yelled as he gave chase.
The deck of Blue-2
As the battle between the two Gigantic Guyvers continued, Ruby found herself struggling in her own battle as she took on both Roman Torchwick and his partner in crime Neo Politan while a huge flock of Griffon circled around the airship. Despite being outnumbered two to one, Ruby was holding own pretty well thanks to her Semblance giving her a speed advantage. However, Neo's illusionary Semblance made it difficult for the young Rose to land solid hits on either of the criminals with shots from Crescent Rose.
"Give it up already Red," Roman said to Ruby in a mocking tone. "In this world, there are no heroes," he added as he struck Ruby with his cane.
Ruby managed to block the strike with Crescent Rose in its scythe mode, but she forgot about Neo, who kicked her in the back, knocking Ruby forward a bit. Pressing on her attack, Neo pulled out the blade portion of her parasol, intending to stab Ruby, but the teen used her Semblance to turn into a burst of rose petals to evade the killing blow. Appearing several yards away from the criminals, Ruby dug the blade of Crescent Rose into the deck of the airship in order to keep herself stable as she fired a round at Neo, only for her image to shatter into pieces. Realizing that she was tricked, Ruby tried to pull Crescent Rose's blade off the deck, but she and the two criminals were losing their balance as the airship was hit by something large.
The three looked to see the golden Gigantic Guyver pushing himself off of the airship while firing three head beams at the Green Gigantic Guyver heading towards them. The three shots were dodged by Lisker, all the while continuing his charge toward Sho. Sho and the three humans still on the airship noticed that the power amp on Lisker's right hand was glowing brightly. Acting quickly, Sho charged up the power amp on his left hand and flew toward Lisker, ready to counter Lisker's Gravity Knuckle with his own.
When their fists collided, a powerful shockwave erupted with enough force that the airship, Ruby and the two criminals were on, was losing stability. With the airship struggling to maintain its altitude, the three humans were having a difficult time keeping footing. With the blade of Crescent Rose still stuck on the deck, Ruby kept a hold on her weapon until the airship finally stabilized itself. Once she was certain that the ship wouldn't shake or fall, Ruby let go of Crescent Rose. It was that exactly moment when Roman fired a round at Ruby's back, knocking the girl toward the edge of the deck.
"Well Red, it's been fun but it looks like playtime is over," Roman said as he and Neo approached Ruby.
Ruby tried to get back up, but she was kicked back down by Neo while Roman looked down at her for a moment.
"You see, in the end you're just another fool," Roman said. "Duped into believing that you can be a hero who will save everyone, only to die as another faceless body," he added.
"That's not true!" Ruby yelled as she tried to get back up. "We beat you before, and we'll do it again," she told Roman. "And we'll stop all of this!" she added, finally getting back on her feet.
Ruby saw Neo approaching her, the hidden blade of her parasol drawn, and waiting for the pink and brown-haired girl to strike. Once she was close enough, Ruby used her Semblance to turn into a burst of rose petals, evading Neo's attack and heading for Crescent Rose. Just as she was about change back and grab her weapon, Roman fired another round at Ruby, knocking her away from the weapon.
"Now that is just sad," Roman taunted Ruby as he walked toward Crescent Rose. "Did you really think I wasn't going to see through that?" he retorted while aiming his cane at Ruby.
Rather than fire another shot at Ruby, Roman chose to hit her with his cane, knocking Ruby away and toward Neo. Ruby looked up to see Neo smirking at her before delivering a swift kick to her ribs, causing the girl to cry out in pain. Hearing Ruby cry seemed to have excited Neo as she gave the girl another kick resulting in the younger girl to let out another pained cry.
"And you think you can stop what's happening?" Roman retorted as he made his way toward Neo and Ruby. "Wake up Red, the world you think you live in doesn't exist," he told the down girl. "Not when there are things like that!" he pointed at the two battling Gigantic Guyvers as flocks of Nevermores and Griffons tried to attack the two, but were killed without the two Guyvers noticing their presence.
Ruby didn't say anything as she used her Semblance to get away from Roman and Neo, making her way toward Crescent Rose once again. This time she managed to grab the massive scythe and held onto it tightly.
"Yes, we can!" Ruby shouted as she glared at the two criminals. "Because so long as there are those who fight for what's right!" she declared as she charged at the two criminals.
"Spoken like every other idealist fool," Roman said as he and Neo prepared for Ruby's attack.
Below Beacon Academy
After what felt like a long and slow elevator ride, Ozpin, Pyrrha, and Jaune finally reached the lower floor that held Amber. Jaune was given a vague description of what was hidden beneath the school by Ozpin with Pyrrha trying to convince Jaune not to come with them. However, the leader of team JNPR was stubborn and refused to leave Pyrrha alone this time.
"Jaune, you do not need to be here," Pyrrha tried to once again convince her partner to change his mind.
"Pyrrha, I want to help in any way I can," Jaune told Pyrrha, grabbing a hold of her hands. "I won't leave you to face this alone," he assured her.
While a part of her was touched by Jaune's courage and loyalty, Pyrrha knew that despite how much he had improved as a fighter, Jaune stood no chance against the woman who was after Amber's power. Before Pyrrha could say anything, Ozpin interrupted the two as he opened the doors to where Amber was located.
"Mr. Arc," Ozpin called out to the blonde knight. "Once we enter this room, you must do everything in your power to keep anyone from entering," he told the boy. "Under no circumstances, must you let anyone enter," he gave Jaune his order.
Initially shocked by the seriousness in his headmaster's voice, Jaune nodded his head as he stood guard while Ozpin and Pyrrha entered the mysterious room before the doors closed behind him. once inside the room, Ozpin led Pyrrha toward the empty pod that Pyrrha needed to enter before they began the transfer of Amber's Aura to her body. Pyrrha looked at the device for a moment before turning to look at the still unconscious Amber.
"I'll ask you one last time Ms. Nikos," Ozpin said, gaining Pyrrha's attention. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked, giving her one more chance to reconsider, though he was certain of Pyrrha's answer.
"…Yes, I will become you're Fall Maiden," Pyrrha reluctantly agreed before stepping into the pod.
Once Pyrrha was securely placed in the pod, Ozpin activated the device that Ironwood explained to him months prior. As the machine started up, Ozpin hesitated as he looked at his student as she waited for him to begin the procedure.
"…I am sorry…" Ozpin whispered before beginning the Aura transfer.
At first it looked as if there would be no issues as Amber's Aura was moving from her body and into Pyrrha's, but it was once the Aura entered Pyrrha's body did a problem arise. Pyrrha was started screaming as her body reacted violently to the invading Aura. Seeing this Ozpin turned his attention back to the machine, intent on cancelling the process. However, Ozpin was interrupted as a powerful explosion erupted from behind him.
Turning around, Ozpin saw Jaune roll forward while covered in flames, screaming in pain as he used his Aura to recover from the burning. As Jaune continued screaming, an arrow shot out from the darkness and pierced the glass that had once protected Amber. The arrow hit the young woman's heart, killing her instantly, and with Amber dead, Ozpin could only watch in horror as the dull orange Aura left the dead woman's body and head toward the killer.
The remaining half of the Fall Maiden's power course through Cinder's body, making the woman in red feel even more powerful than before. The fire within her grew as she looked at the man her mistress told her about, pull the Nikos girl out of the contraption while the crying fool finally stopped. However, it turned out that fool wasn't dead but had recovered with barely a burn mark on his body as he made his way toward Ozpin and Pyrrha. Surprising sure, but barely anything to worry about as she remembered that this boy simply had a surplus amount of Aura.
"Mr. Arc, Ms. Nikos, you both must leave now," Ozpin told his two students.
"But Professor Oz…" Pyrrha tried to speak but Ozpin cut her off.
"Neither of you are strong enough to handle her," Ozpin said as he gripped his cane. "We took a risk and it failed. The best I can do is buy the two of you enough time to reach the surface and escape," he explained as he thought about what may happen now before remembering that there was still a chance to fix all of this. "If at all possible, try to tell Mr. Fukamachi about what has happened, maybe he can turn the tide," he added.
Pyrrha didn't know what to say after listening to her headmaster. She wanted to stay and fight alongside him, and hopefully she would be enough to help stop this woman. Yet once she heard Ozpin mention Sho's last name, Pyrrha's mind went back to what Sho said to her.
"If they had actually cared about preparing you for this, they would have had you face off against more skilled opponents such as the top ranking second-years, third-years, fourth-years, or even Goodwitch herself,"
Sho's words had bothered Pyrrha at that time because it made her feel like all of her training, victories, and time in Beacon were nothing but a waste. Now, here she was, being told to run instead of fight because her headmaster believed that she wouldn't be able to defeat this woman who just killed Amber.
"Pyrrha, we need to go now," Jaune told Pyrrha, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her away from the two combatants.
Sensing that his students were leaving, Ozpin had a small smile on his face. 'Thank you, Mr. Arc,' he thought to himself before turning his attention toward Cinder.
Said woman was now floating in the air, supported by the complete magic she had recently obtained. Cinder looked down upon Ozpin with a hint of distain on her face. She remembered the words of her Mistress, who had told her everything she needed to know about the man before her.
"You are just like she told me," Cinder said as she glared at Ozpin. "Such an arrogant fool," she added before conjuring flames around her arms.
Ozpin, rather than say anything, simply focused his Aura while waiting for Cinder to make her move. The attack came in the form of Cinder unleashing a powerful stream of fire from her hands with Ozpin creating a barrier to block the onslaught of flames. Annoyed with how Ozpin defended himself, Cinder increased the intensity of her flames as she continued to rain fire onto the barrier. Despite Ozpin's efforts, he could feel the heat of Cinder's fire managing to make its way through his barrier. He tried to hold the barrier a little longer, but Cinder focused her flames to a single point while increasing the heat of the fire until it had enough heat and force to pierce through Ozpin's barrier. As Cinder continued her assault, she and Ozpin were unaware of a third party entering the area.
After making his way through the ravaged school, Aptom found his way toward the bottom of Beacon Academy while keeping himself invisible. When he spotted Cinder earlier, Aptom considered killing the woman when she was unaware of his presence but refrained as he was curious as to what this woman was after. While the Aptom back up on the surface more than likely knew after absorbing Mercury's body, this Aptom had not acquired that knowledge, so he allowed the woman to continue on her way. After seeing Cinder deal with that blonde boy that Aptom could barely remember what weapon he wielded, let alone said boy's name, Aptom watched as Cinder unleashed a concentrated blast of fire at Ozpin.
'So, this is the power this woman was after,' Aptom thought to himself as he continued watching. 'There is something familiar about this power…' he seemed to recall witnessing this power before. 'Almost like something I haven't felt in a long time,' he wasn't sure where he felt this power, but there was something about it.
Regardless, when Aptom noticed the barrier Ozpin made was about to shatter, the former Lost Number sprang to action as he rushed toward the destroyed barrier just in time for Cinder to unleash another powerful blast of concentrated fire at Ozpin.
The Sky Above Vale
Sho struggled as Lisker flew the two of them toward the still floating Amity Colosseum. Most of the civilians were evacuated, but the remaining few that were still boarding the airbuses stopped to see the two Gigantic Guyvers plow through a section of the colosseum wall. The two Guyvers landed in the middle of the arena, Sho managed to break free of Lisker's grasp and kick the dark green Gigantic away. Lisker took a couple of steps back, his right foot stepping on top of something that was on the floor. Sho took a moment to look at what Lisker was stepping on and noticed that it was the head of a torn-up girl. At first, Sho was enraged by the sight of the dead girl that Lisker was stepping on, but he took a closer look to no blood under the girl.
Lisker, noticing Sho staying still, looked down to see that his foot was on top of some girl. It took him a moment to remember that this was that robot girl from Atlas that Cinder took an interest in. Knowing that it was just a machine, Lisker applied more weight into his right foot and crushed the robot's head, so that he would have a more stable footing.
Witnessing Lisker destroy the dead girl's head, an enraged Sho charged at his foe, Gravity Knuckle charged up and aimed for Lisker's Control Medal. Realizing where Sho was aiming, Lisker raised his left arm up, forming an energy shield to block the Gravity Knuckle. The resulting shockwave from Sho's attack caused all of Amity Colosseum to shake, making those who were still on the floating island to be knocked off their feet and fell forward. A few unfortunate people who were boarding the airbuses were knocked off balance and fell off the platforms, falling to their deaths.
Back in the arena, Lisker kicked Sho away from him before firing his three head beams at Sho. Sho covered his head, blocking the three laser beams before charging at Lisker, activating his plasma jets along the way. The sudden burst of speed caught Lisker by surprise as he was tackled by the younger Guyver, the two of them shooting out of the arena and right past the surviving people that were struggling to get to any available airbus.
Sadly, one such airbus, which had just taken off, was in the way of the two Gigantic Guyvers. Sho, focused on taking down Lisker, didn't even notice as the two of them tore through the airbus, resulting in those inside the ripped apart airbus to be sucked out and falling to their deaths.
Once away from Amity Colosseum, Sho released his hold on Lisker as he threw a punch at Lisker's head, only for Lisker to dodge the attack and counter with an uppercut to Sho's stomach. Sho yelled out in pain as he was pushed back by the force of the blow. Not wanting to give his opponent time to recover, Lisker fired a Pressure Cannon at Sho. Sensing the gravity weapon, Sho quickly created a barrier to block it, but given how fast the Pressure Cannon was approaching, Sho's barrier was barely a foot away from him, but it was enough to protect him from Lisker's attack.
"That barrier trick is starting to get on my nerves," Lisker growled out as he activated the vibration blade on his right arm and charged at Sho.
Seeing the attack coming this time, Sho activated his left arm's vibration blade to block Lisker's next attack.
Mountain Glenn
Within the mountain, something that had slumbered for a long time was beginning to stir. It had sensed great power within its territory, power that it did not know but its instincts told it that this power cannot be allowed exist in this world. It also sensed its brethren were within the human settlement that was not far from the mountain, and they were being slaughtered by the pathetic humans and something else, something familiar. Something that it had not encountered in centuries. Yet everything it was sensing could not be ignored, it must deal with all of this, and now. Using all of its strength, the top of the mountain that imprisoned it exploded when it spread its massive wings and rose to its feet.
The Wyvern Grimm had finally awakened with a mighty roar before glaring down at the Kingdom of Vale, and Beacon Tower.
Author's note: Well, this took longer than I wanted which was something I had hoped I could have worked on and finish before the end of the summer. Sadly, back in late August I came down with Covid and for over two weeks I felt like shit, couldn't stay on my computer for more than an hour without getting a headache, could barely eat anything, and basically just stayed in bed for the majority of the two weeks. But now that I'm better, I'm hoping that I'll be able to finish this part of the story before the end of the year. After that, I'll either continue the story as a full sequel, a series of shorter stories that connect to each other similar to the Simon Furman run of IDW Publishing's first G1 Transformers reboot comic series, or I just give up on the story and write a summary of what would happen after this story.
Hopefully, the last one won't happen but it's getting tougher and tougher for me to actually be interested in writing this story when half of the crossover material barely interest me anymore. Which is a shame because I've had at least four RWBY stories that I started brainstorming, but there are a couple of problems with those stories, mainly not knowing how to end them, or if I want to deal with the backlash from some of the fandom's very vocal members. Another shame is that despite the issues I have with RWBY, I still like to believe that there is potential in the series, but with everything that's happened with Rooster Teeth, that potential feels like it's been crushed.
