Sup, guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one is about Warhammer. Enjoy the 800-Word chapter. I don't own Warhammer, Games Workshop, and a few others do.

(Black Templar Strike Cruiser Divine Retribution)

No noise was above a whisper, for not a whisper was wasted outside of blessing of weapons nor the prayers to the emperor.

The Chapter of Space Marines was accompanied by what many citizens of the Imperium considered their female equivalents: The Adepta Sororitas or Sisters of Battle.

There were the sounds of craft being launched to the planet below which was the entire reason they had been sent here.

The soldiers of the Imperium had crowded into Thunderhawk Gunships which carried 10 marines and 10 sisters along with any support equipment for their campaign. Neither side said anything when it came down to it.

There was plenty of combat to handle below. Their duty was drilled into the brain of each servant of the emperor.

One of the Black Templars to the Sister next to him who was silent. Both soldiers were well aware of what their purpose was below down below. They were soldiers and they still had to battle at the end of the day.

"Remember the plan, brothers. The warp has sent its contaminated abominations which used to be our brothers." They heard from the head of their squad who simply nodded.

"Hmm." One of the Templars next to him said while he crossed his arms to which they rolled his eyes. "And the relic the emperor has instructed we gather for his glorious reign, brother?" The Templar asked to which he was silent once more.

He had memorized their briefing which had come from one of the Emperor's Custodes. He was tired and wished to perform his duty that his duty was rather happy to be done.

Their ship entered the atmosphere and it slowly started to slow as bolters were primed and their weapons were drawn. The entire squad and the Sisters who had followed after him.

They closed their eyes which made them mentally prepare for their mission as they started to think of what happened.

There was a large bang as the door slowly opened while the marines stormed down the ramp with the Sisters following after them. He watched as he shook his head and started to think of what to do next.

"Hmm." He heard as he started to think to himself as he raised his bolter and fired at his former brothers.

They were more Daemons that seemed to roar and challenge them while they slowly waded into the hell of a battle. Not a single Templar broke formation as they fired their bolters which blasted holes into the environment as they slowly marched towards cover.

They left the smaller monsters for their support as their tainted brothers were the larger threat at the moment. They launched to see what happened next before soldiers started to launch towards them. They were not to break formation when it came down to it.

They were smart and their attack would have come after them. If not for the fact that the forces of the warp were ready for them and had anticipated this sort of attack on their ranks.

One of the Templars watched as Bloodletters surged forward and forced the line apart little by little. Despite their best efforts? The entire group was slowly forced apart. The templars were sent into a retreat as explosions and more gunfire slowly slashed the battlefield into pieces.

"Forward!" One of the traitor marines yelled, slowly starting to push them back. "Forward!" They yelled once more as the forces of Chaos started to gain the upper hand as they lashed outward to think.

Then again? There was were more soldiers in their army than there were to the Black Templars as more marines charged inward. An explosion ripped the battlefield apart and fling more marines and soldiers to the side.

The Chaos Marines fired on the Thunderhawks which detonated into thousands of pieces as they moved onwards. They were interested in something on the planet which was ready to do so something.

Neither noticed a small movement to himself as he groaned to himself.

More Daemons and Traitors set in on their army before they started to attack the rest of the marines. They were entirely at war with this.

He cleared his throat once more before he shook his head.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out when it comes down to it? I will try and explain more of the plot for the moment and I know the Black Templars are not easy to kill. They're not dead and this is simply setting up the next chapter and the 2 main characters. The next chapter is in 2-10 months and is 900-6500 words and will show the main Black Templar and Sister of Battle. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
