Disclaimer: I do not own The Mr. Men Show or any of its characters, but I do own Emily/Little Miss Music.

It's been a few weeks since Emily decided to stay in Dillydale, leaving her miserable life behind. She was once again happy and now was going by the name Little Miss Music. She settled in her new house that was built just for her, and she even adopted a little black kitten from the shelter and named her Jingle.

Now the red Little Miss was on her way to visit her best friend, who lived in a house that hung off the side of a cliff, supported only by a few wooden beams. She remembered how she would say when she'd watched The Mr. Men Show that she could never step foot inside Little Miss Calamity's house without thinking about the long drop just below her feet. She was especially nervous when she saw the episode where her new friend's ceiling fan went crazy and started chasing her, following her outside and sawing the wood posts in half, causing her house to fall over the cliff.

But since she decided to stay here, she's been to see her friend every single day and rarely thought about any of that. She was really looking forward to seeing her today, because she thought of something that she wanted to ask her. Honestly, she was surprised it never came to her earlier, but now that she was living here in Dillydale, she thought that maybe other towns from shows were real.

And the town I'm most curious about is Misterland, she thought as Little Miss Calamity's house came into sight. And it makes sense that the people of Dillydale would know if it's real or not, since Misterland is full of Mr. Men and Little Misses.

She knocked on the door and Little Miss Calamity answered. "Good morning, Miss. Music," she said. "Come in."

"Thank you." Little Miss Music entered the house and watched as her friend headed to the kitchen.

"Thirsty?" the accident-prone Little Miss asked over her shoulder.

"Yeah," Little Miss Music murmured as she followed her, and she took the can of soda that Little Miss Calamity handed her.

She stood there, trying to think of a way to start the conversation. Little Miss Calamity seemed to know something was on her mind because she asked," What's up?"

Little Miss Music decided to just ask her straight out if she ever heard of Misterland. But when she asked her that question, Little Miss Calamity looked confused. "No," she said with a shake of her head. "I haven't. Sorry. What is that?" she asked.

The red Little Miss frowned, suddenly realizing it made sense that Little Miss Calamity wouldn't know about Misterland. She never lived there, Little Miss Music thought, remembering that the orange character was made for The Mr. Men Show which was created years after The Mr. Men and Little Misses that took place in Misterland.

"Oh, it's a town, kinda like Dillydale." Little Miss Music was trying to explain, but she didn't think she was doing such a good job because Little Miss Calamity still looked confused. "I just figured if Dillydale was real, then I'm sure Misterland is too. Since nobody else here knows that I'm from another world where all this is a cartoon, I thought… um… hoped that you would know about it. Guess not." She sighed and sat down on the sofa, taking tiny sips of her soda.

"Oh, I know!" Little Miss Calamity joined her, and Little Miss Music looked at her in confusion. "Why don't we ask Mr. Small and Mr. Nosy? They know about you and if anyone were to know about a mysterious town, they would."

Little Miss Music thought about what she said. "You could be right," she agreed, standing up and putting her soda on the coffee table. "Want to go now?"

"Sure," Little Miss Calamity said, and they headed out.

They went through town, which was the fastest way to get to the observatory where the best friends lived. On the way, Little Miss Music spotted her senpai, Mr. Grumpy, and her knees suddenly felt weak. Little Miss Calamity looked at her.

"Go talk to him," she encouraged, but Little Miss Music shook her head and turned away from him.

She sighed as she walked. "I can't just talk to him," she murmured. "We haven't really spoken since I first got here. I'm afraid he doesn't like me the way I like him…"

"You'll never know unless you talk to him," her friend pointed out, but to Little Miss Music's relief, she didn't have to answer, because just then they arrived at the observatory and Little Miss Music immediately knocked on the door.

A moment later, the door opened and the best friends stood there. "Good tidings, Miss. Music, Miss. Calamity," the small Mr. Man greeted them.

"Hey," Mr. Nosy said, a spark of interest in his eyes. "Whatcha up to?"

"Can we come in?" Little Miss Music asked. "I need to ask you something."

"Oh! What is it?" Mr. Nosy inquired.

"Of course you can come in," Mr. Small answered, and they stepped aside to let the Little Misses in.

Little Miss Music followed Little Miss Calamity inside. "What's up?" Mr. Nosy asked.

"I was wondering if you two ever heard of a place called Misterland," Little Miss Music told them.

The best friends exchanged a look. Mr. Nosy looked confused, while Mr. Small looked thoughtful. "I don't think… Oh!" Mr. Small suddenly exclaimed mid sentence. "Come to think of it, yes, we have."

Mr. Nosy tilted his head to the side. Then he nodded. "That's right. Didn't we meet someone from Misterland once?"

"You're absolutely right, Nose," the small Mr. Man said, smiling. "I can't remember his name, but a few years back, Mr. Nosy and I were hanging out at the train station and we met this fellow who said he was from a place called Misterland, but he was on vacation here in Dillydale for a while. We never saw him again."

Little Miss Music found herself getting excited. "Really? So it does exist! That's awesome!"

Little Miss Calamity looked at her worriedly. "Why did you want to know if this place existed? I mean, Dillydale is enough… Right?"

"Huh?" Little Miss Music frowned. "Yeah, of course. I love Dillydale. But just the thought of meeting even more Mr. Men and Little Misses is very exciting!"

Mr. Nosy leaned in closer. "So are you thinking about going there?"

"Maybe." Little Miss Music noticed the alarmed look Little Miss Calamity gave her, but she was too excited to comment on it.

"Can we come too?" Mr. Nosy unexpectedly asked, surprising the others, even Mr. Small.

But after a moment of thoughtful consideration, Mr. Small nodded. "Yeah, we could go for a vacation. May we come with you, Miss. Music?"

Little Miss Music didn't even realize she had decided to go, but she really wanted to, and she found herself getting even more excited. She turned to Little Miss Calamity and saw her looking worried.

"Miss. Calamity? Are you okay?" she asked.

"Why do you want to go?" the accident-prone Little Miss asked so quietly that Little Miss Music almost didn't hear her.

"What do you mean?" Little Miss Music was confused.

"I mean, don't you like it here in Dillydale? Why do you have to go somewhere else?"

Little Miss Music frowned. "I'm not moving to Misterland. I'm just going to visit. I love living here and nothing will change that. I mean, senpai is here. Why would I leave him?"

The Mr. Men exchanged a look. "Who's here?" Mr. Small asked.

Little Miss Music blushed, embarrassed.

Little Miss Calamity smiled at her and then explained to the friends," She means Mr. Grumpy. She calls him that because it's a name she learned in her world. What does it mean again?"

"Someone… Someone you admire and really like. Usually someone older than you." Little Miss Music couldn't look directly at anyone and her cheeks burned with embarrassment.

"I see." Mr. Small still looked confused, but then he shrugged and asked," When do you want to leave?"

"How about the day after tomorrow?" Little Miss Music suggested, noticing the worried look Little Miss Calamity gave her. She placed her hand on her friend's shoulder. "Come with us, Miss. Calamity," she said. "No way I'll want to move away from Dillydale, but if it'll make you feel better, you can come and keep an eye on me."

Little Miss Calamity seemed to think about it. "Okay," she agreed, and Little Miss Music smiled.

"Great, so we'll all meet at the train station in two days," Mr. Small declared, and everyone nodded.
