Chapter six

Danny groaned as he got out of bed. He was still exhausted from the party last night. He hates it whenever his parents throw a party as he learns things about people. They'd be surprised to find out how much they let their guard down while they think it's up.

At the party, Danny found out that Mr. Sanchez was very displeased with the deputy mayor as they kept delaying the permits for him to build the new Nasty Burger as they were planning to do something else with that lot. Dora's parents only donated to the children's hospital to make people not notice that they are closing the mall for three weeks for 'renovations' as they are just moving the stores that haven't been doing so well to other locations in the mall that doesn't get a lot of business.

He also learned that the only reason Sam is the way she is is that she wants everyone to know that she is different. Danny watched her eat a smoked beef kabob as she thought no one was watching. He took a picture just in case the 'Goth' tries to do something in the future.

He also found out that Mrs. Sanchez was having an affair with Jeremy Manson as he caught them making out upstairs as he was coming upstairs. The young man was upstairs to sneak up a piece of grilled salmon to Puma, as she was in his room upstairs to prevent an allergy attack.

Danny wasn't surprised to see Jeremy cheating on Pamela since he had done it before. He was shocked to find that he was doing it with Mrs. Sanchez was surprising since she was close friends with Pamela and Maddie. He knew how close the three were, as he even went as far as not accepting Paulina's dates; so he wouldn't damage Maddie's relationship with Mrs. Sanchez. The woman was willing to destroy her's and her closest friend's marriage. Danny decided to stay out of it as he wanted this party to be over as he wanted to go to bed and go to school the next day.

Danny got walked out of his room and headed downstairs as he needed food to function in the morning. Once he got downstairs, he saw Allison rushing to make breakfast. Maddie's trying to get to work as she needed to go to her office immediately as she didn't realize she wasn't wearing matching shoes.

" Morning, mama," Danny says as he walks to the coffee maker and pours himself a cup. He notices that Allison is wearing a sexy dark red nightie that shows off all her assets, especially her breast. Danny felt himself getting aroused and sat at the table. He did not want his mother to see him like that.

" Morning, Sweety," Allison says as she walks over to a cupboard and reaches for a plate as Danny stares at her.

" What's the occasion for you to be making breakfast," The raven hair boy asked since Maddie usually makes breakfast.

" Your mom had to go to her office for an emergency meeting. Now I got to find a way to pick up your aunt from the airport," The mayor says as she places a plate of pancakes in front of Danny.

" If you want, I can pick up Aunt Ann from the airport since I'm ahead of my school work, and there is no practice today. Besides, the guest room needs some supplies for her, and I can run out and get them and set up her room," Danny said as he didn't mind helping out. Allison smiles as she walks up and wraps her arms around his neck.

" Your such a good son. I'll call the school and let them know you won't be there," Allison says as she then kisses his cheek and goes to get ready as she stops and turns around.

" You do know the table is seethrough?" She asked. Danny nodded as he shoved a mouth full of food in his mouth. She smirks before saying," I can see your little soldier saluting."

Danny was left there embarrassed.

Time Skip: Four hours later.

Danny stood at the gate as he waited for Ann. He went to the store earlier, getting everything he needed for the guest room, even the stuff that Allison needed. Danny even made the bed and changed the light bulbs for the closet. Then he had time to run to the grocery store and buy groceries, letting his parents know in the 'Witcher Household' group chat. Danny headed to the airport after that. Once he arrived, he had twenty minutes before Ann's flight arrived.

Danny decided to get a cup of coffee as he was tired from running all around Amity park. His phone rings once he places his order. He answered as he heard Dash yelling at him for not being there.

" Dude, Coach Salvatore got arrested," Dash says, making Danny stop walking to the pickup counter.

Salvatore was the new hockey coach since the school wanted Mr. Lanster to coach football, as the football team needed a strict teacher to coach them. As a result, they got Salvatore as the new coach. The man didn't know a single thing about hockey. He didn't even know the difference between a wrist shot and a puck. They lost the last three games cause Salvatore didn't even try to learn the rules or the plays.

" Shit, who's going to coach us for Friday's game," Danny asks as he picks up his coffee and walks back to the gate.

" The new Science teacher that just started teaching. Mrs. Go. The teacher with the Green tint skin," Dash says. Danny knew who he was talking about. Shelley Go. The new AP chemistry and physics teacher started three weeks ago. She was a great teacher, as she always preferred the hands-on approach and learning through trial and error. Danny sighed as he hoped that this teacher would be a good coach.

Once the call ended, Danny waited at the gate for a few minutes until he saw Ann come out and wave once she saw him. As soon as the neurosurgeon got close to him, she hugged him. Danny was surprised to see the woman. She looks exactly like his mother except for the blue eyes.

" Danny, it's so good to see you," Ann says as she lets go of him to get a closer look at how much he has grown. Danny noticed that she wore jeans and a purple sweater. She was also wearing a pair of white converse.

" It's good to see you too, Aunt Ann," He says as he smiles at his aunt. He always liked having Ann around as she always made things interesting. He always loved going to Middleton in the summer and hanging out with his cousin Kim as Ann would take them to do new things.

" Why don't we go get the rest of my luggage, and while we're at it, you can tell me what you've been up to," The redhead said as they walked to get the rest of her luggage.

Time skip: Six hours later.

Danny groaned as he was exhausted today. He is not used to running around town all day. As soon as Ann got to the house, she wanted to take a nap. Danny decided to run a few more errands as he dropped off lunch for Allison from her favorite restaurant. Danny also went to Maddie's office and dropped off Maddie's lunch along with a pair of shoes that matched since the woman was wearing two different heels. Then Danny went to the sports store to get more hockey sticks since he was down to his last one.

Once Danny got back, he spent some time with Ann. They ended up watching tv and talking about life. Danny's heart ached for the redhead as she didn't seem like herself. He never did like James, as the young Witcher never trusted him. The woman was lucky to get visitation with Kim along with holidays.

After a while, Allison came home saying Maddie had to work late because she was trying to salvage a project. Allison made dinner for the three. Now the boy was staring at his ceiling as he wondered if tomorrow was going to change before he decided to make a wish.
