Chapter 2: U.A.
It was a mere two days away from the first day of U.A., and Kasai was relaxing on a couch after a particularly intense day of sparring with Hikaru. He was flipping through channels until something had caught his eye, and he grew a small smile.
On the T.V. screen was a new pro hero on the rise: Eclipsis, currently the number 6 pro-hero, right behind Miruko in the official Hero Billboard rankings.
Eclipsis is a young, tall man, and is muscular but lean. He has dark blue hair and heterochromatic eyes, one eye was a bright orange, and the other one was a similar color to his hair. He wore a dark black shirt and pants with similar colored shoes, and over the shirt he wore a long, blue coat that could almost reach the ground.
Despite his name, his quirk had nothing to do with an eclipse. He had a very rare elemental quirk that allowed him to control almost all aspects of nature. So far, he has shown 6 different elements that he can control: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Magma, and Ice- though many people think that he still has some tricks up his sleeves.
Kasai wasn't smiling because he liked the hero. He did, make no mistake, but he was smiling because that was his older brother, Fumei Nokogiri.
Fumei is the oldest in the family, and was the one who raised him, his twin sisters, and partially Kurai and Kata since they were all 7. He was 10 years older than Kasai, which had practically made him an adult when… it happened.
He had to put his hero training on hold in order to raise the 3 of them, only able to resume his hero training again when he thought that Kasai, Hikaru, and Hoseki could take care of themselves. Kasai hadn't met him since he had gone to the dorms of the hero school that he was attending, two years ago.
Since it seemed that Fumei's hero training was over, then that meant… that, maybe, they could finally see their brother again.
XXXXXXXXXXX
Two days later…
The five friends were finally reunited at the front gates of U.A., but this time, they were not mere examinees, but proper heroes-in-training.
They made their way inside, but stopped when they realized something.
"So… Do any of y'all know where Class 1-A actually is?" Kata asked.
There was, for a moment, silence, everyone looking at anyone else for an answer.
Hikaru inhaled, before she was cut off by a hand covering her mouth. Muffled complaints sounded, even with the hand over her mouth, but Kasai wouldn't let go.
"Hikaru, we don't have time for this. You're not going on without us on our first day. Last time we let you look for something you ended up a mile away getting fast food. "
Hikaru grumbled something unintelligible, before eventually nodding her head in agreement.
Kata, eventually, found a map, and led their merry band towards their classroom. After a few minutes of walking, they caught sight of a huge door that had "1-A" printed upon it in big letters.
Hikaru, again, opened her mouth to speak.
"Yes Hikaru, the door's big," Kurai stated- at which point Hikaru closed her mouth.
"Welp, no point in dillydallying, is there?" Kata said, popping the p. She swung the massive door open, unveiling to them their classroom – and, of course, their classmates.
Kasai noticed that they must have been early, as there were only 4 other people in their seats. After taking his seat, Kasai began inspecting the rest of the people in the room.
To the back, a seat to Kasai's right, was a girl with long black hair in a french braid. She seemed to be fiddling with a sheet of paper, perhaps doing some sort of origami. She looked up and around at them, the newcomers, for a brief moment–before making eye contact with Hikaru. Hikaru gave the girl a smile which caused her to quickly look back down with a small, embarrassed blush.
Two seats to his left was another girl– a girl with cat-like ears twitching above her head, and a cat-like tail swishing behind her. Her hair was black and orange like a calico cat's fur, and she seemed to have paw-pads on her feet. Near the front of the class were two more boys, One of which he recognized as the boy who sat next to him on the bus to their exam site. The other was a boy with blue hair and blue eyes, with what seemed to be some kind of fast-food drink in his hand.
Since they were about 20 minutes early, they had some time to waste. Kasai pulled out a book. He would occasionally glance up from his book whenever someone interesting came through the door, like a kid with dragonfly wings. But, other than that, Kasai wasn't paying too much attention to the other students who came in.
The 20 minute mark came and went, and the door to the class opened. Who stepped inside was a tall, wellbuilt lady with gray hair that was tied up in a ponytail with black shorts, a light gray shirt, and a dark gray jacket.
"Good morning, class. I am your homeroom teacher for this year, Tsuki Ekuri. You might not have heard of me, but that's because I'm actually a new teacher at this school. I hope to teach you the best I can."
She picked a piece of paper off of her desk. "Let's begin with introductions." She says, with a small smile. "First off, Kami Haruka." The girl that was next to Kasai stood up, looking a little nervous. "Please state your name and a fact about yourself."
The girl nods, with a nervous swallow. "H-Hello. M-my name is- K-Kami Haruka," she managed to stutter out. "I-I really enjoy reading and origami." The girl then bowed. "P-p-please take care of me. Thank you!" She squeaks out, before dropping back into her chair.
The teacher gave the girl a short smile. "Good job. Up next-" she glanced back down at the paper. "Minato Nosaka."
A tall boy stands, one with straight blond hair reaching his shoulders, and a scar on the right side of his face. His crimson eyes gazed over the class before he spoke. "I'm Minato Nosaka. I'm only here to have fun, so please put up a decent fight."
Kasai frowned. Was he basically saying that they couldn't stand up to him in a fight? It seemed that many other of his classmates shared his frustration, giving the boy glares as he sat back down. Kasai hoped that the boy was just bad with words, and wouldn't end up becoming a pain to deal with.

Kasai sat in the lunch room with Hikaru, Hoseki, Kurai, and Kata. They were enjoying their food, talking about their plans after lunch. While it was mainly Hikaru and Hoseki doing the talking, the others would add on to the conversation once in a while.
Their conversation began to simmer down, just as their classmate, Nae, joined them at the table. After taking the final bites of her food, she turned to Kasai. "Sorry about what happened in the entrance exam, I wasn't thinking about other examinees at the time." She then bowed, "I really hope you forgive me."
Kasai appreciated the sentiment, but didn't think it was really her fault for what happened. "It's fine, I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that. Plus, I accidentally did that whole thing with the zero pointer. If anything, I should be the one apologizing."
Nae shuddered at that memory, "Please, don't ever do that again."
"Wasn't thinking about it," Kasai replied.
Nae seemed like she was about to reply, but the bell for the end of lunch rang. It was time for Class 1-A to clean up, and change into their gym uniforms, as instructed by their homeroom teacher.
XXXXXXXXXXX
The entire class stood within the outdoor training field, lined up and eyes to their teacher. Ekuri herself stood next to a circle painted on the ground, in the center of the school's track.
" I'm glad that you're all here." Ekuri states. "We will begin the school year with the Quirk Apprehension Test." Her words caught the attention of many of the students – as they all stopped conversing between themselves and gave her their undivided attention.
"You all should have done these sorts of exercises in middle school, right? We will be repeating these exercises but with one exception–you all will now be permitted to use your quirks. We'll start off with the 50-Meter Dash"
Hikaru and Hoseki were up first for the race, the former with a huge grin on her face, and the latter with an annoyed grimace.
"We've been training for this since we got our quirks!" Hikaru cheers.
"It's not fair on completely flat terrain. No one's as quick as you." Hoseki grumbled.
"No one?... Yeah, right." Minato scoffs, just out of earshot of the two competitors.
The pair stood at the waiting line, just as the start signal turned from red to green- and in a brief, dim flash of light, Hikaru was at the finish line instantaneously, much to the surprise of the entire class. Even Ekuri, who knew her student's quirks, was caught off guard. The only ones who had expected this outcome, however, were her friends.
Hoseki passed the finish line shortly after, grumbling spitefully under her breath.
After she crossed, a display above the signal lights showcased the times that the two had gotten- flickering like a train display to reveal that Hikaru had gotten a grand total of zero seconds, while Hoseki's was 0.534 seconds.
"Woah, so that's what "Guiding Light" does."
"I wasn't even able to see, I blinked!"
The student gossip didn't last long as Ekuri got the class's attention again. "Next up- Kasai and Kami."
The pair approached the starting line, Kami holding two reams of paper to manipulate. After all, it'd be rather unfair if she couldn't use her quirk. Kasai, however, paid her no mind, and began charging his quirk.
As soon as the signal went off, Kasai threw a blue fireball towards the end of the track. Less than a moment later, his form was engulfed by flames, and almost instantly appeared where the fireball was, passing the finish line. Kami wasn't far behind, riding a mass of paper like a magic carpet. She jumped off of it as she passed the finish line, and the paper-mache carpet flew apart, then reassembled into one of the reams of paper that she was originally holding.
As they made their way back, their times were revealed. Kami had a time of 1.341 seconds, while Kasai had a time of 0.846 seconds.
This relay continued with the rest of the students, duo after duo.. None of them managed to achieve a time anywhere near Hikaru's 0 seconds. Yet, most of them were far better than average, even after adding quirks into the equation. Most of the other exercises in the test weren't nearly as exciting as the first- sit-ups and stretches, and rapid side-steps. The students scored more or less average. However, things began to pick up as the Ball Throw then came along.
The first student for this exercise was Reiko, a tall girl with charcoal-black hair that reached her mid-back. She stepped into the circle that they were instructed to stand and stay in for the duration of the throw, and her red eyes glanced forwards.
She inhales deeply, and suddenly begins to change form. Her fingers started to grow sharp claws, her skin shifting to a dark gray, taking on a stony texture. Thanks to the gym uniform being somewhat adjusted to support the wearer's quirk, it didn't rip- yet it still seemed to be straining under the increase in bulk. A pair of wings emerged from her back, extending and then folding onto Reiko's back.
The transformed girl took the ball in her hand, and pulled back for a throw. With a beastly snort and a small boom, the ball flew out of her clawed hands. As it flew, and as the students waited, she shrunk back down with an exhale, into her normal state.
The teacher looks down at the tablet she was holding, and turns the screen around to the rest of the ball flew a distance of 764 meters.
The students bubbled with chatter once more- impressed with that score, and many excited to show their own strength.
As Kasai's turn came, his mind rumbled with potential ways to throw the ball as far as possible. He stepped up to the circle, and took the ball in his hand. A metallic red coating grew across his arm up, and right up to his shoulder, shredding the sleeve of his uniform on his dominant arm.
Hoseki leans to Hikaru, as the rest of the class had their eyes on Kasai. "Didn't he dislocate his arm and nearly snap it like a twig the last time he tried this?" Hoseki whispers to her.
"You're thinking of the first time. He's become a lot more proficient with his quirk, so I think he'll be fine," Hikaru whispered back. "Plus, I haven't actually seen him use this in years, so I'm excited."
Kasai pulled his arm back, and his arm became a blur, sounding off with another boom. However, as his arm became visible again, he rolled his arm, hissing in pain. "Definitely over-extended it this time…" He grunts to himself. The red substance coating his arm disappears, leaving his exposed arm out.
Ekuri's device beeps, and again she turns it around, showing a distance of 876 meters.
Following Kasai was Tominaga. She had long, black, wavy hair, and skin on the paler side and a build on the shorter side, eyes a dark shade of violet.
She took in a long, long breath in, and then exhaled for a mere few seconds. She then took the ball and tossed it in the air, and took another much shorter breath and blew out. The result- a pale explosion that rocketed the ball off with an impressive speed..
The teacher's tablet beeped again, showing a score of 641 meters. At the sight, Tominaga nods, satisfied with the result.
Kasai focuses wanes on the repetitive ball toss, and a chill runs down his spine. It… almost felt as if he was being watched. His head darts to look behind him, up to the roof of the building. He squinted his eyes, blocking the sun with a hand to get a better look-
-a better look at an empty roof. Kasai sighs. Maybe he was being too cautious. He glances around to the rest of his classmates- focused on the ball throw. He rubs his eyes, and tries to focus on the remaining students' performances instead.
XXXXXXXX
A figure stands on the U.A. rooftop, quietly watching. His gaze follows one of the students- who, for a brief moment, looks straight at him. He grimaces, backing up farther onto the roof of the building, and deactivating his quirk. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and calls….
"Hey, I think one of the kids might have noticed me. I'm gonna need an extraction.."
Behind the man, a crack sounds out, and a small line forms in the air. Like shattering glass, the crack expands to the size of a person.
The man didn't need to look behind him, merely stepping into the white void that the fissure in the air led to. He then looks into the void, and frowns. "They won't be happy about this."
The crack closed in on itself, and it was as if no one had ever stood on the roof..

The Quirk Apprehension Test ended shortly after the ball toss, Ekuri dismissing the students after sharing the remainder of the results. Many of the 1-A students, still full of energy, opted to head to the gyms to train. Others opted to return to their dorms and relax, even if the sun still shone outside.
Kasai was one of the latter party, laying down on his bed with a book in hand. His dorm room wasn't anything special, furnished only with the essentials- his bed, nightstand, desk, chairs, and a bookcase. Other than that, he had a personal laptop, and a lamp on his desk- the desk adorned with a few stray notebooks.
As Kasai flipped through the pages, he heard someone knock on the door. He closed his book and put it down with the rest on his desk, then walked to his room door. He was expecting to see Hikaru or Hoseki, who always messed with him whenever they were bored. But, the perpetrator on the other side of the door was perhaps the exact opposite of who he was expecting: one of his new classmates. To be specific, it was Kami. Now that they were so close, he only now noticed that she stood a whole foot shorter than him.
"H-Hello. Um- I'm Kami- we were- in the relay together." She says, barely able to meet him in the eyes.
"Yeah, I remember." Kasai nods, but his brow furrows. "Is something wrong?"
"N-no! Nononono, of course not!" Kami says quickly. "I- I just wanted to get to know more about s-some of my classmates. And y-you seemed like a n-nice person, and I-I saw you talking to some of the others-" She sputters, face reddening as she continues. "So I was w-wondering if you could- m-m-maybe introduce me to them..?." Her gaze meets the floor as she awaits Kasai's verdict..
Kasai hums in thought, but nods.. "I don't see why not." He says, walking out the door. The two of them walk together, for about a minute, before being struck with a sense of deja-vu. "Hey… do you… do you know where we're going?"
The girl looked at him for a second, confused, before her face turned a deeper shade of red. She looks down to the floor, and responds quietly; "N-n-no."
Kasai sighs, pulling out his phone from his pocket, and swiping into the group chat with his sisters and friends. As he finished typing, the girl seemed to be even more flustered than before, tears welling in her eyes.
"Hey, I'm not mad. This wasn't planned or anything, so it's not like you did anything wrong." He gave her a reassuring smile, and patted her on the back, which managed to earn a small, sheepish smile from Kami. "Let's go down to the common room. I told them to meet us there."
XXXXXXXX
There was quite a gathering of students in the common room, sitting down and lounged across on the couches and rugs that were placed there. Word of an introductory mingle seemed to have spread throughout 1-A, with more students than Kasai expected. At the very least, most of their classmates seemed eager to be social- about half of the class were in the common area, and waved over Kasai and Kami.
"I guess I'll start this off," says Maneki, the girl with cat-like features that he saw earlier in the day. "You should already know who I am, but in case you forgot, I'm Maneki Kin and my quirk is called Lucky Cat," Her tail then curled around her body, moving to her front, where she held it in her clawed hands. "As you can see, it mostly gives me cat-like features, but it also makes me incredibly lucky, even if it is kinda random."
The blue haired boy, Suiiki, was sat next to the catgirl. Kasai found it weird that he was still drinking that same fast-food drink from homeroom, as he hadn't seen the boy refill the cup, yet had seen him sipping from it all day. Suuki reached to put the cup down but as he stood up to do so, the cup had fallen off the table, onto the ground at Maneki's feet. Alarmed, she jumped back onto the back of the couch, and hissed but stopped and stared down at the bottle with curiosity- in contrast to the surprise of the other students..
The drink hadn't spilled, not even a drop of liquid hitting the floor. Rather, a bubble enveloped the cup, causing it to slowly float up, towards Suiiki. He grabs the cup, and the bubble pops open.
The boy sighs, noting the attention of the rest of the class following his display. "Suiiki Utakata" he hums, with a wave. "My quirk Bubbles. Lets me create bubbles that can store just about anything. It'll release the thing once I will it to." With another sip from his drink, Suiiki walked to the kitchen, and opened the cupboards in search of either ingredients or snacks, Kasai assumed.
"So…" Hikaru begins, before flashing forwards and appearing right in front of Maneki. "Are you scared of water like a cat?" The poor girl jumps back again, with another startled hiss.
"Hikaru, you need to stop doing that." Kurai sighs, with a hand over his face. Hikaru tilts her head in confusion, and again, Kurai sighs, dropping his head in exasperation.
"It's fine, I just need to get used to it." Maneki shakes her head, standing back upright. She sighs, and looks at Hikaru with an embarrassed smile, "But to answer your question- yes, somewhat."
Hikaru flashes behind the catgirl, who, again, seemed confused at the golden haired girl's disappearance. Hikaru crouches down behind Maneki, and reaches to grab the girl's tail. With a startled yelp, Maneki jumps right back on the couch's headrests. She hisses, and looks at Hikaru with a flushed face and an irritated grimace.
"Could you not do that?" she hisses
Hikaru merely shrugs, with a straight face. "It just looked so fluffy. I couldn't resist grabbing it."
"Hikaru, sit back down before someone has a stroke, please?" Hoseki says to her twin. Hikaru shrugs again, and nods, flashing into the empty seat next to Hoseki. Maneki also climbed down from the back of the couch and sat on it properly, sighing as she did so.
The next to participate in the icebreaker- "Yo! I'm Nae Shinrinyoku!" She picked up a potted plant from the table."My quirk's called Phyto-Grow. Lets me grow plants at will when I touch em! Watch!" She brings a finger to the fern, and in seconds, a flower blooms.
"Interesting…" Kurai hums, leaning closer towards the plant. He reaches up, and prods and pulls at a leaf.
"Can your quirk also reinforce the plant's structure?" Kasai wondered.
"Hm… Well, from what I can tell, it reinforces some types of plants, mainly those without bark, but it doesn't make many of them that much stronger." Nae responded. "What's your quirk anyway, Kurai? I never saw ya use it."
"You'll have to figure it out yourself." Kurai answered, giving the girl a mischievous grin.
"At least give us a hint." Maneki pouted.
"He won't give in to your pouting." Kasai remarks, an open book in his hand. "Thank Hikaru for that."
"Why don't you tell them about your quirk?" asked Hoseki.
Kasai sighed, "My quirk allows me to control fire, among some other things. It wouldn't be a good idea to sample it indoors." Kasai then looks over to Kami, who he hadn't heard from since they arrived. "Why don't you explain your quirk, Kami?"
The girl flushes red like a beet at the sudden spike of attention. "W-Well, uh, m-my quirk allows m-me to m-manipulate p-paper. T-t-that's it..." She seemed even more embarrassed as she explained. She waves her hand, and a piece of paper flew into the room and floated in the middle of the table. The paper folds and folds, before finally resting in the form of a paper swan, which floats to Kami's outstretched hand.
"That's a damn good quirk," Kata said, eyeing the swan sat on Kami's hand.
"M-My quirk isn't t-t-that g-good!" Kami rebukes, her red face turning the slightest shade of pink. "I-It's just folding paper!"
"Well, then you must be good at using it, considering you made it into U.A. with the rest of us." Kata deadpanned.
"I, uh… I think I should go now." mutters a boy with wavy black hair and sky blue eyes. Kami lets out a relieved sigh as he does. "My name's… Sora Terubozu. And my quirk is Gloomy Weather. I release water molecules from my body, and form clouds that I control. Though… it's probably not a good idea to, uh- … sample mine indoors. Yeah."
"Hm, ok…" Maneki nods- scooting an inch away from Soru. "What about the rest of you?" She gestures at 5 people- Hikaru, Hoseki, Kata, Tominaga and, similarly to her, a boy with cat features named Maboroshi Nyagamaki.
Said cat-like boy was taking up an entire couch, splayed across like a cat, seeming like he was about to fall asleep. When he noticed the gazes on him, he immediately sat up straight. "What was the question?" asked Maboroshi, or as he insisted, Boro.
"Your quirks?" Maneki asked once again. "What's the deal with them?"
Boro, as well as the other four seemed to think about the question.
After a few seconds, Hikaru was the first to answer. "I don't feel like giving up my secrets."
"I want to surprise you all," remarks Hoseki.
"I want to be able to catch you all by surprise," Tominaga retorted.
"I want a higher chance of beating you all during training," Boro smirks.
"Too complicated," Kata calmly stated.
Maneki lets out a small sigh- just as Hikaru flashes out of her chair again. "Hey, Kami! Can we see more of that origami?"

As expected, the next day at U.A. was focused mostly on academics, introductory lessons to their basic subjects. The likes of English, Modern Literature, and even Mathematics was made more intriguing due to their teachers, each of whom were pro-heros.
Kasai tried to pay attention throughout the day, but his distaste for school shone through. Even though he knew he wouldn't struggle with the subject matter, he found his interest in the lecture fluctuating, mostly leaning on the side of disinterest. When his brother was taking care of them, he also homeschooled the five of them, trimming the fat in teaching and focusing only on what was necessary. Because of this, they sped through their schooling, aided by an affinity for retaining information.
The surprisingly average school day came and went, until the bell for the final standard class of the day rang. It was time for the class that they were all waiting for- Hero Studies.
The door to Class 1-A opens, and their homeroom teacher steps inside, and makes her way to the front of the class. "Hello again, class! I hope you're all ready to begin your first official day of hero training. I will be your teacher." Tsuki pulls forth a small remote from her desk. "Upon acceptance into the hero course, you were required to submit a design for a costume. The school then took those designs and made you all your own official hero costumes."
The class buzzed with excitement as Tsuki pressed a button on the remote. Compartments on the walls pushed out, unveiling several racks full of hangers, each covered in white cloth.
"The costumes are arranged in seat order. Go change into them, and meet me at Training Ground Beta for your exercise."
XXXXXXXX
Class 1-A reconvened in front of a massive warehouse-like facility, each student donned in their own unique hero costumes.
Kasai was quite surprised. Each of his classmates' costumes seemed to be quite well made, even for the ones that wouldn't seem like they would be any good at designing. He supposes that U.A. also played a hand in making the designs turn out so well.
Kasai's own costume consisted of a white shirt which had kevlar plating beneath, to absorb the hits he would inevitably take. His pants were black, with similar colored knee guards over them. He wore a red overcoat which exposed his shirt and came down to his knees. To complete the look were a pair of gray gloves over his hands.
Their teacher was standing in front of them, next to a small table with a pair of ballot boxes next to it. She cleared her throat, and began to explain the lesson plan. "In this exercise, you all will be split up into teams of two, and will face off with another pair. The teams and confrontations will be picked at random by a choosing of lots." Eruki motioned to the ballot box next to her. "One at a time, come up to the box and pull out a ballot- but please, do not open it until I instruct you to do so."
Kasai was one of the first students to pick his ballot, after which he went and stood next to Kurai. He looked over the class, but his eyes momentarily locked onto a specific person- a girl who wasn't in the common rooms last night. Her name was Mary Seinaru, he recalled from her polite introduction yesterday. And yet- when he caught her eyes, momentarily, there was disdain, clear in her glance, as she observed her peers. Yet, when she caught notice of Kasai, she gave a polite smile. How odd…
"Thank you all for waiting. You may now open up your ballots. On them should be a letter.. Try and find the person that has the same letter as you- they will be your teammate through this exercise." The students proceeded to start walking around, asking about for their teammate.
"H-Hey."
A voice spoke up from behind. Kasai turned and looked behind him to see Kami. "D-Do you have, uh-" She looked down at her card. "D?"
He looked down at his card and hummed. " I do. It seems like we're teammates."
She nods, giving him a small, shaky smile. Kasai noticed, though, that wasn't the only part of her shaking.
"Are you ok? You're shivering like a leaf..."
"I-I'm fine, just… a little nervous. I don't t-think my quirk is really made for combat."
"I think you'll do fine. Quick question, how much paper can you control?"
Kami pauses, frowning as she considers. "I think t-that I can control… around f-five cases or paper." She says- gazing to Kasai- who had a brow furrowed in confusion. Kami's face turns red in embarrassment. "I-I m-m-meant a-around t-twenty five t-thousand s-sheets of p-paper! I'm sorry…"
"It's fine. I'm not mad."
"By the looks of things, that was enough time for you all to find your teammates." She then pulled a piece of paper from one of her pockets. "In this exercise, the two teams will be starting on opposite sides of the building in front of us. Both of the teams will attempt to locate an item that is within the building. You will have five minutes to locate the item. To win, either find the item and bring it to an exit, or capture the enemy team. Quirk usage will be allowed, and expected."
She then pulled out two pieces of paper from the second box. "For the first round, Team F, Reiko Ikibayashi and Hikaru Nokogiri, will be going up against Team J, Sora Terubozu and Kata Ikunangaku. Both teams may go to their respective starting positions. As for the rest of the class, you follow me to the observation room, where you can witness your classmates' quirks and strategies."
The observation room was a dark room to the side of the warehouse, with several huge monitors across one of the walls. The class could see that both teams were looking at the blueprints of the building, speculating where the object could be- and trying to plan around the opposite team.
After waiting a few minutes Tsuki tapped a device on her ear, that linked to speakers around the Training Grounds, that the two teams would clearly be able to hear -. "You may now begin."
XXXXXXXX
A group of three sat quietly, patiently, in a dark room. Suddenly, a crack line appeared in near the wall, and quickly started growing, with the sound of glass breaking. The man that had been on the roof of U.A. stepped through the fissure, before it closed in on itself again.
"Did you obtain The Seed?" a man enveloped in shadows asked.
"No, one of the kids must have sensed my presence. I didn't want to take any chances of the Healers of Doom being found out, so I left."
The man in the shadows sighed, "This item is crucial to our plans. If we can't get our hands on it, then all of our work to free All For One was all for nothing."
"I understand. I'll be sure to get it when the next opportunity arises. I promise that."
The man in the shadows then left the room, leaving the building, and made his way into a nearby alley. He glanced behind him, making sure he wasn't trailed, before pulling out an old flip-phone and dialing in a number. The man put the phone to his ear, waiting for the dial tone to finish, until the one he was calling picked up.
"..."
"Yes. They are powerful, but they're too focused on worshiping that false god, AFO. Even after they serve their purpose, they could make a useful army in the future."
"..."
"We can handle those two powers, but if we engage with them, it'll be a problem. Avoiding them will be our best bet, for now."
"..."
The man grows agitated at that response. "If we try and send someone to test them, then they'll catch on! The last thing we need is attention!"
"..."
The man takes a deep breath, calming down before speaking again. "I'll make sure of it, they are also a priority. I'll contact you again when we have the items."
