"Come on. Come on. We have to make it in time!" A young boy said impatiently as he ran through the sidewalk, seeming to be in a rush.

"I-Izuku, why are we going so fast?! School doesn't start for another 40 minutes! You're killing me here!" A purple haired girl exclaimed a little breathlessly as she ran behind her hero.

Izuku looked back at her as he anxiously waited at the crosswalk with his legs still in a running motion as cars drove by. "I'm sorry Kyouka, but the news just said that a villain attack was happening right at this station! We have to make it before it's over!"

Kyouka sighed and smiled a little as she began to catch her breath. "This better be a good one then. The last villain attack we went to wasn't that flashy."

Honestly, the girl couldn't care less whether it was flashy or not. Sure a flashy hero fight was fun and all, but to her that wasn't the show. The real show was just how much her hero would start fanboying at all the quirks from both the heroes and the villains. She just loved seeing the boy's passion shine through at these times and she knew that she would never get tired of seeing it.

If she were to change one thing about these moments, it would certainly be all the running. She's definitely willing to run miles with him if she had to, but she would prefer if that wasn't an option.

Soon the cars stopped and the quirkless boy continued to run with the teen girl right behind him. 'I wonder what kind of villain it is! I wonder what kind of hero shows up! Maybe it'll be a new hero today!'

It wasn't very often that the boy would get to witness these kinds of events, but whenever he got the chance then he would make sure he wouldn't miss it for the world. He wasn't a very athletic boy, but at times like this, it seemed like he had the stamina of a marathon runner.

Cherry blossom petals flew with the wind as a loud roar was heard at a distance before the two friends stopped at the sight before them.

"Now that's one huge supervillain!" Izuku shouted as he looked up at the giant villain who was standing on the tracks with a huge crowd in front of him and his friend.

"Now this is going to be a show." The young girl said as she glanced at the fanboy's face, enjoying how happy he already is.

The villain began destroying the area around him, causing debris to fall down before being caught by Death Arms.

"It's Death Arms! But with his super strength, I'm not too sure how he'll fight this giant villain. Maybe he's here for support to take care of the damage." The boy analyzed as he kept watching before Backdraft formed a barricade rail out of water to keep the citizens at a safe distance. "Backdraft too?! I gotta get closer for a better view, who knows what other heroes will show up for this!"

The aspiring hero then started to make his way through the crowd in front of him as Kyouka followed behind, trying not to get lost in the crowd with her small size. "Excuse us. We're just making our way through."

'God I love seeing him like this. I can't ever get tired of it.' She thought to herself as she and the green haired boy finally made it to the front of the crowd.

The boy's face lit up as if there were tons of presents right in front of him under the Christmas tree as he watched Kamii Woods enter the scene. "This is going to be good! It's Kamui Woods! He may be new, but he's making a big grin for himself!"

"One look at that dopey grin and I know what you are, a fanboy." A middle aged man with a weirdly shaped head said as he pointed at the supposed fanboy.

"Well, he's definitely the best fanboy you'll find in this country." His friend said as the fanboy looked a little embarrassed.

"Y-Yeah I guess so." Izuku said as the fight between Kamui Woods and the villain went on before his embarrassed demeanor completely disappeared as he looked excited again. "There it is, his special move! The preemptive binding Lacquered Chain Prison!"

Before the wooden hero could use his special move, a loud shout came out of nowhere. "CANYON CANNON!"

Everyone widened their eyes at the sudden entrance of a giant woman as she instantly took down the villain.

As the two friends stared in amazement, bunches of people with cameras started chanting.

"Body shot."

"Body shot."

"Body shot."

Kyouka blushed a little as she heard this and looked at her hero to notice he was staring as well. She did her best to suppress the slight jealousy she was feeling as she tried to justify his staring. 'Izuku is not a pervert. He's not a pervert. He's just analyzing her.'

"Piece of cake for the world's next hottest hero. Hi there everyone I'm Mt. Lady and you won't have to worry about this bum anymore." The new hero said as she showed off her ass before the people with cameras returned.

"Body shot."

"Body shot."

"Body shot."

The teen girl looked down at her body, comparing it to the hero's as she started to feel insecure while a little of her anger flared up. 'What does that hussy of a hero think she's doing?! She's so lucky she's a pro hero so I can't kick her ass.'

She then looked at Izuku again and internally sighed in relief as he was grabbing his notebook out of his backpack. 'I knew it, he wouldn't stare at a woman's body like that.'

She really wasn't used to much girl's being around Izuku or girl's looking sexy around him so this jealous feeling was pretty new to her. But she doubted that it would be a feeling she would get more often. It was probably just a one time thing.

Soon the crowd of people started to clear as the authorities arrested the villain while Mt. Lady was taking all the credit for stopping the villain.

Once the area was clear, the quirkless boy went over to the cracked ground the villain fell onto before writing in his notebook as he muttered. "Gigantification huh? She's definitely got the looks and attitude to be a crowd favorite and her quirk is really showy, but it'll be kind of hard for her to get around much in the city without damaging lots of things. That means her use might be limited unless she can control her size."

"What's that fanboy, taking notes? You wanna be a hero too huh? Well, you can do it!" The man said as he gave the aspiring hero a thumbs up.

Izuku looked at the man and gave a bright smile. "Right! I'll do my best!"

His friend just stared at that bright smile with admiration as she gave a small nod. 'I wish Izuku could get more support like this everywhere else. He truly deserves all of it.'

It was now the beginning of class on the second day of middle school as the teacher cleared his throat, ready to make an announcement.

"So as third year students it's time to start thinking seriously about your future and what you want to do with your lives. I could pass out some career aptitude tests, but why bother?" The teacher said as he grabbed the tests while some of the students started to activate their quirks. "I know you all want to go to the hero course!"

The teacher then threw all the tests in the air as almost all the students started to excitedly show off their quirks.

However, 3 students didn't bother showing anything off as the girl sighed with her earphone jacks staying still. She then looked at Izuku and saw him with his hand raised pretty high with a small smile on his face and his head straight up.

She remembered in their first year how the boy would almost always have his head slightly down and his hand would almost never raise unless it was necessary. Even though he still is a little shy, he certainly believes in himself a lot more than he used in the beginning of middle school. 'I'll be waiting for the day you raise your hand up as high as you can with the widest smile on your face, Izuku.'

Unfortunately, the teen girl was broken out of her thoughts as she heard the voice of a certain boy she knew for as long as she's known Izuku. "Hey teach, don't lump me in with these bunch of losers. I'm the real deal, but these guys will be lucky to end up as sidekicks to some busted D lister."

All the other students got mad at him as he threatened to take them all on as the teen girl rolled her eyes a little. 'Even though Izuku has changed, Bakugo has not. Why can't he learn to just shut up?'

The teacher sighed at all this commotion and looked at his papers. "Well you got impressive test results, maybe you will get into U.A High."

Kyouka did her best to ignore Bakugo's not so humble words as he stood on the desk. It was always hard to ignore the loud boy when he started to brag. Her sitting two seats behind him didn't help much with either. If you were to ask her, the ash blonde boy was the least deserving to get into U.A. The way he treats Izuku is something close to a villain, he might as well be a villain if he's so full of himself.

"Oh yeah Midoriya and Jirou, don't you both want to get into U.A as well?" The teacher said as everyone widened their eyes.

However, the students completely ignored the purple haired girl and started to laugh at Izuku. She couldn't stand all the crap her hero got for saying he wanted dto go to U.A. Why can't they just leave him alone for once?

"Midoriya? Really? That has to be a joke!"

"You can't get in without a quirk."

"Studying alone isn't going to help!"

The quirkless boy stood up and looked around at the other students. "Hey, they got rid of that rule. I think I can be the first one if I really try."

But before the boy could say any more, his desk was blown up by Bakugo as he was sent down to the floor.

"Listen up Deku, you're even worse than these damn rejects, you quirkless wannabe! You really think they'd let someone like you or ear girl in when they can have me?!" The explosive boy asked as he stood over the aspiring hero.

"Hey, Bakugo stop that! He's not doing anything!" The young girl said as she stood up from her desk, looking at the teacher to hope that he will stop this. But the teacher just kept looking bored, ignoring the whole situation. 'Damn him, why can't he do anything about all this?'

Before the red eyed boy could say anything back, he noticed that the quirkless loser in front of him started to stand up. "K-Kacchan I want to make it into U.A. I've wanted to be a hero since I was little. I know I don't have a quirk, but with hard work I think I can do it."

The girl couldn't help, but feel proud that her hero was standing up for himself. She could tell that he was still scared, but he wasn't going to let Bakugo make him doubt his abilities this time. She's spent the past 2 years helping him build his confidence and she could see the results of her friendship with him.

"What did you say you quirkless loser?! You should know your place by now! You would die in the exams! This crappy school doesn't need you and ear girl embarrassing it!" Bakugo shouted as explosions came out of palms, bringing them very close to Izuku as he flinched. "That's what I thought. Confidence and hard work alone doesn't give you power. Only an amazing quirk like mine can give power."

Hearing this made the young boy look down at the floor, his confidence seeming to be a little shaky now as the red eyed boy walked back to his desk, satisfied at the reaction he got this time before a certain girl offered her hand to the quirkless boy. "Hey come on, you can't sit on the floor all of class."

The young girl was suppressing all this rage she had inside of her as she gave the boy a smile. Izuku started to look up and gave her a small smile back before nodding and taking her hand, pulling himself up. "T-Thanks, Kyouka…"

'Is this bastard really trying to break Izuku's confidence? Hasn't he done enough?' She thought to herself as she glanced back at the bully for a split second. 'He better not try anything else today.'

It was now lunchtime and Izuku was currently writing in his notebook, adding some details to the costume design he had in there. He was doing his best to forget what his old friend said to him about confidence and hard work not being enough, but it just kept lingering in his head. Hopefully, his notebook could help take his mind off of that.

He couldn't deny the fact that he took just a little bit of inspiration from All Might as he designed his costume. But he doubted that it was that obvious. No one will probably notice the similarities. Right?

His friend watched as he focused on the notebook and leaned in a little. "So what are you working on, Izuku?"

The boy's face went red as he closed his notebook and shook his head. "N-Nothing really! J-Just notes about heroes and stuff!"

"Hmm are you sure about that? You're never nervous about your notes, if anything you're proud of them." The young girl said as she cupped her chin and gave him a bit of a suspicious look.

"W-Well maybe this time is different. T-They're really detailed this time." The boy tried to explain as his face only got more red.

"Izuku, are you hiding something from me?" Kyouka asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"U-Umm no… well sort of…" The quirkless boy said before he sighed in defeat. "How'd you know?"

The teen girl gave a small laugh as she twirled one of her earphone jacks with her finger. "No offense, but you're a terrible liar. But that's a good thing, lying doesn't fit you at all."

The aspiring hero looked to the side, knowing there was no way to keep hiding this forever. "P-Promise you won't laugh?"

The girl nodded as she gave a genuine smile. "Promise. No need to be embarrassed to show your best friend anything."

The boy sighed once more as he began to open his notebook. "O-Okay then… here it is."

As he fully opened it, the purple haired girl saw the costume design he'd been working on. 'It's so cute, his admiration for All Might really shines here. I can't get enough of his fanboyish nature showing off in his notes.'

She had to admit, she loved this costume. It looked like it would fit Izuku perfectly, especially the bunny ears with the smiling mask. Those were touches that she was particularly fond of.

"This is pretty cool, it'll be a great hero costume when we get into U.A. I hear the designers there are top of the line." She said as she looked at him and gave the green haired boy a thumbs up.

"Y-You really think it's cool?" The teen boy asked as he started to smile, starting to forget what Bakugo said earlier.

The purple haired girl nodded as she looked back at the drawing. "Of course, it's totally you and it looks like something a hero would wear when protecting people. I can't imagine anyone else wearing a costume this cool."

The young boy started to tear up as he heard the praise he got on his costume before he began crying. "T-Thank you Kyouka! I'm so glad you like the design!"

By now the teen girl learned to not panic as much at all the tears, learning that was just something he got from his mom. "Remember Izuku, don't let anyone tell you that you can't be a hero. Especially people who don't know what you're truly capable of. Because as someone who knows you pretty well, I know you can do it."

Hearing this, only caused more tears to come out of the boy's eyes as he felt happiness overcome him. "I-I will be a hero! I won't let your belief in me be for nothing!"

"Good, I'll make sure to be a great hero as well and we'll save people together." The teen girl said as her smile widened.

She couldn't wait for the day the two of them would be on the streets together, stopping villains. She just knew that it was bound to happen someday and that they would be great together.

The final bell for the day had just rung as Izuku was looking at his phone, scrolling through the news as the rest of the students left before the purple haired girl approached him. "So, Izuku, you ready to go?"

"Yeah, sorry, it's just that the fight from this morning is all over the news. Let me just write some notes real quick before I forget anything." The young boy said as he put his phone into his pocket.

As soon as he grabbed his notebook, it was immediately snatched from his hand by Bakugo with his lackeys right behind him. "I don't know what you think you're doing, Deku, but we're not done. I didn't like that ballsy stunt you pulled earlier."

"Is that his freaking diary? How pathetic."

"You can't be taking notes on how to be a hero. You're delusional Midoriya."

Kyouka widened her eyes a little as she clenched her fists. "What do you think you're doing Bakugo? Give that back to him."

One of Bakugo's lackeys with long hair went right in front of her and smirked. "What do you think you're gonna do huh?"

Before the boy could say any more, the teen girl immediately kicked his balls, causing the boy to fall on his knees. "I can easily take care of someone who's not even a man."

"Ha! She definitely showed you!" The lackey with black hair said as he laughed at his friend before being abruptly stopped by an earphone jack in front of his eye. "N-Nevermind."

"C-Come on Kacchan give me back my notebook." The quirkless boy said as he stood up and reached for his notebook.

However, Bakugo used one hand to use his quirk on the notebook, burning it before tossing it out the window like yesterday's garbage as Izuku cried out in horror.

"Bakugo, what the fuck!" Kyouka shouted in anger as she sent her earphone jacks towards the boy, but was stopped as the red eyed boy grabbed them both with smoke coming out his hand. "F-Fuck."

Bakugo had a firm grip on them and gave a bit of a hard squeeze which caused the girl to grunt a little in pain. "You know most first rate heroes show potential early on. People look at them and know they're destined for greatness. People will say that about me one day once they see I'm the only one from this shitty middle school to get into U.A. They'll know I'm legit, the next big thing. That's not ego talking, I know I'm just that good. You and your friend here don't stand a chance."

Izuku clenched his fists as he saw the pain his friend was in. "L-Let her go, Kacchan! Your deal is with me! Not her!"

He couldn't let his best friend be a victim of his bullying. A hero wouldn't let this happen, they would make sure to take responsibility for what happens and protect those around them.

"This is just a warning to the both of you." The ash blonde boy said as he squeezed a little harder on the girl's earphone jacks. "Don't even think of applying or else it'll only get worse for you two."

The aspiring hero felt so defenseless right now. He knew that if he tried to fight his old friend then he wouldn't even last 5 seconds before getting blown to bits. All he could do was stand there, shaking in fear for what could happen to his friend. He didn't care what would happen to him, but if he got into a fight then she would surely join in as well. He knew how powerful Bakugo was and unfortunately, he could probably take her down as well. He didn't want her to get more hurt than she had to for him. 'I'm such a coward. I can't do anything.'

Bakugo then sighed and let go of the young girl's earphone jacks before walking away with his lackeys, one of them limping. "You know Deku, there actually might be a way for you to be a hero since you want it so badly. Just pray you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building."

'Take a swan dive off of the roof of the building? He's telling Izuku to kill himself?! How dare that bastard say that!' Kyouka thought to herself as she no longer could hold in her rage and had her fist up as she began to run after Bakugo, ready to beat the crap out of him.

However, she was stopped when she felt a firm grip on her wrist and looked back to see Izuku glaring at his old friend. "Just stop it Kacchan. You're not going to stop us from applying. Me and Kyouka will apply and we'll do our best to get in!"

Bakugo widened his eyes for a second out of surprise before giving an angry look as he turned away. "Don't think you can be this ballsy for much longer, Deku. One of these days you'll regret those words."

With that, the red eyed boy finally left the classroom with the two friends still standing still before the green haired boy let out a breath. "I-I can't believe I said that without being scared."

The teen girl gave him a small smile, but couldn't help but be a little concerned for the boy after what Bakugo just said as she rubbed her arm. "Izuku, about what Bakugo said…"

Before Kyouka could continue, the young boy smiled back at her. "Hey it's like you said, don't let anyone tell me that I can't be a hero. But still, I can't believe he told me to kill myself."

"That damn jerk, he doesn't know what he's talking about. He went too far today." The girl said with anger as she grabbed her backpack. "Hey let's go outside and see if we can grab your notebook, it looked like it was intact before it was thrown out."

The teen boy nodded as he grabbed his backpack as well. "Yeah, hopefully nothing was completely destroyed."

The two of them then left the classroom together, soon exiting the school and coming across a small body of water with koi fish eating at his notebook.

"Great, my dreams have turned into fish food. That's enough, give it back." He mumbled as he grabbed his notebook. "Dammit."

The purple haired girl watched as her hero stared at the notebook, obviously hurt at the fact that it was damaged. "Are you okay Izuku?"

She hated seeing him down like this. Even with all of his newfound confidence, she knew how sensitive he still was. She knew that Bakugo's words always hurt him even if he doesn't show it. 'One day he'll get what he deserves. After all he's done to Izuku, he doesn't deserve anything good to happen to him. Why can't he go away forever?'

The quirkless boy gave a small nod and kept walking while still holding his notebook. She wasn't aware that he was currently thinking about the time he was 4 years old and learned that he was quirkless. He really wished his mom chose different words to say to him that day, but there was no changing the past.

Soon the two of them reached a tunnel and Izuku stopped walking before clenching his fist and smiled widely. "Of course I'm okay, a real hero smiles in their most difficult times."

"Right and I'll be right here smiling with you." The teen girl said before smiling as well.

They both walked into the tunnel with the green haired boy raising his fist. "HA HA HA HA HA! HA HA HA HA!"

The young girl laughed a little at her hero's All Might impression as she watched him. 'After all of this, he's still staying positive. I hope one day he'll share this positivity with the entire world when he shows everyone what he's made of.'

Unfortunately, the laughing would come to an end as something started to emerge from the sewers. They both turned around to see a green sludge-like monster as Izuku started to shake. "A-A villain?!"

"Ah, it looks like I have two options for skin suits today. Let's see who'll be the lucky winner!" The sludge villain said as he then jumped at both teens.

Without thinking, Izuku immediately pushed Kyouka out of the way before being consumed by the sludge villain.

The young girl fell onto the floor and looked up in fear as she started to stand up. "IZUKU!"

She saw as the sludge villain tried to force its way down her hero's throat as she charged at it. "What does this little girl think she's going to do?"

"You son of a bitch, get away from him!" She yelled as she tried plugging her earphone jacks into the villain, ready to kill it if she had to. Unfortunately, her earphone jacks just seemed to go through the villain without any success.

"Foolish girl, my body is fluid. You won't be able to do anything to me." The sludge villain mocked as the green haired boy did his best to get free, clawing at the villain.

The purple haired girl couldn't let it happen like this. She wasn't going to lose Izuku to some villain. She then began to pull some desperate moves, clawing at the villain as well as her earphone jacks kept jabbing at it. "You won't take him! Give him back!"

"You're being annoying!" The sludge villain yelled out before it smacked Kyouka with its arm, sending her flying to the wall, her head making contact with the wall.

The teen girl laid there on the floor, slowly losing consciousness as she felt a throbbing pain in her head. "I-Izuku…"

She never felt so helpless before as she laid there, watching her hero get taken over by the sludge villain. She couldn't do anything. All she could do was watch as the world around her was starting to get darker. Is this how it was going to end? She couldn't even tell him how she felt. She couldn't watch him grow up to be an amazing hero. She knew that he was going to be a great hero and that was going to be taken away from the sludge villain because she couldn't do anything to help him. With that, she had one final thought before finally drifting into unconsciousness.

'I failed him.'

A/N

Okay chapter 12 is done! Finally adapted the first episode!

First off before I say anything else, I want to thank everyone who has been reading this story so far. I recently hit 200 favorites on this story and it was something I never would've expected. Honestly the original plan for the fanfiction was going to be a 10 chapter story. But I found myself enjoying writing these and reading everyone's reviews. This story will go on for a long time and I hope you guys will stick around and enjoy it. I know I may not be the best writer, but I hope to be showing improvement slowly. Personally I think my writing still needs a lot of work, but hopefully it'll be better by chapter 50. This entire experience has been unreal and I'm thankful for every reader out there even if you don't enjoy my story. Knowing that someone is reading it is more than enough.

Okay with that small emotional paragraph out of the way, time to talk about the chapter. Personally I felt a little cheap relating some of the lines from the show. I hope you guys didn't mind the complete copying of the lines, I just thought that in some situations Kyouka being Izuku's friend wouldn't change too many lines unless they were directed at the two of them. If you guys would like me to stop repeating lines then don't be afraid to give your honest feedback. I'm always listening to your guy's reviews.

I kind of like how I handled the sludge villain incident though. I think it added some nice drama to the scene. Also, I hope you guys didn't mind that I made the "take a swan dive off the roof of the building" less dramatic than you expected. I would think Izuku wouldn't want much conflict happening between Kyouka and Bakugo. But don't worry, that scene will come up again in future chapters, I won't act like it was a harmless line. Kyouka will hold grudges indeed.

I do have a question for you guys, regarding Kyouka's hero costume in the future which will probably appear in like chapter 20 or around that. I was thinking of modifying it very slightly and making her choker a dark green instead of black. I don't want to change it too much and I think it could be a neat feature that's very subtle, but at the same time showing Izuku's influence on her.

Would you guys like it if I did that? Also if you guys have any ideas on other ways to modify her costume, don't be afraid to tell them to me in either reviews or PMs

Now onto the reviews!

Guest: I actually want to thank you for that idea, I wasn't originally going to do that until I saw your review.

Tonsofun94: Oh her reaction will be fun, but it will happen at a different time than Izuku's.

Naoto Koizumi: Oh yeah 100% and I would believe Izuku would still blush around Ochako as well since she's more forward than Kyouka is. Ochako definitely won't be an antagonist to Kyouka, but more of a FOIL. And moments in the future will change with Kyouka in the picture. I'm glad you're liking my story so far and hope you leave more reviews in the future.

Ability King KK: Yeah I'm ready considering giving Bakugo some redemption, but it will be a slow burn. I don't want to immediately redeem him since that just seems like lazy writing. He will still mostly be a jerk and it'll be a long time before some change happens.

Chuck Winanaki: He will have different reactions, but some of them will still be the same. I don't think he'll blush when she's talking to him normally, but he'll definitely still blush at her getting too close and when looking at her costume which will bring fun reactions from Kyouka. It will be a pretty silent love triangle. Bakugo will probably be more mad actually since he still thinks Izuku is looking down on him.

Im The Person: Kyouka in fact will not be a part of that meeting with All Might and it will still be Bakugo who gets taken, but Kyouka will be involved in some way to add emotion. But actually I think I might implement that idea of Izuku not listening to All Might, good idea there.

Guest: Well okay.

unitc: Yeah, but thankfully she wasn't as creepy as I was originally going to make her.

Okay that's it for the reviews!

Hope you guys liked this chapter and I want to let you all know that chapters will be delayed until May. I don't know exactly when the next chapters will come, but they will slow down temporarily. But by May or hopefully late April, my update schedule will be back to normal. Life is getting a little busy and will ease up by May. And on May 16th, chapters will definitely be coming a lot faster.

By the way this chapter was a little rushed so if anyone finds any mistakes please feel free to let me know.

Please feel free to leave a review!
