The day was now February 16th, only 10 days before the U.A Entrance Exam and tensions were high for hundreds of applicants across the nation.

Kyouka was doing her best to relax right now as she quietly played the guitar Izuku got for her 15th birthday while sitting on her bed.

It certainly calmed her down and made her forget about the entrance exams even if it's only for a few moments. Music had always calmed her down, but the guitar being directly from Izuku made her feel like he was right there with her. And when he's with her, she feels like she could do anything.

However, she couldn't deny that she was nervous as hell for the exams. With the school's very small acceptance rate, her chances seemed so slim.

She was more than confident that Izuku could pass the exams. Why wouldn't he? In her eyes, the boy could accomplish anything if he set his mind to it. And with All Might's quirk as the cherry on top, it was no competition.

But what if she somehow fails the exam? Then she'll be forced to attend another high school without Izuku. She knew Izuku would offer to go to her school instead of U.A, but she couldn't take that chance. He's been dreaming of going there for years and it's his best opportunity to become a hero.

There was no way she would let him give up his dreams for her. But it scared her about the potential outcomes of both of them attending different schools. What if they start drifting apart within their 3 years of high school? What if he meets a beautiful girl there who starts hanging out with him every day like herself? What if Izuku starts liking this girl? She would clearly be more talented and smart since she actually made it into U.A. Soon enough he would forget all about the purple haired girl and only be with this superior girl.

Kyouka immediately shook her, trying to get rid of these thoughts that invaded her head before she sighed.

These fears and insecurities became more occupant in the young girl's head as the exam day would get closer.

But that just reminded her of her entire drive for training so hard these past 10 months. She had to get stronger so she could make it into U.A and become a hero. She just had to make it into that school so she could stand by his side for those 3 years.

She started to reflect on how much she's improved within her 10 months of training. She had perfected her breathing exercises so now she could slow down and speed up her heartbeat before entering any situation. She had also increased her quirk's destructive power and she believed that she could possibly destroy a brick wall with both of her earphone jacks.

The teen girl had also gotten more athletic and a little stronger as well. All Might had recommended that she should build at least a little muscle because there could be a day where she'll have to fight in close combat. She could honestly say that she was strong enough to easily take down some thug who tries messing with her. Of course, she wouldn't be able to take down Izuku in hand to hand combat, but she would like to think that she wouldn't be a pushover either. Maybe one of these days she could learn some simple self-defense to handle herself better in close combat.

These past 10 months have truly been an amazing journey for the young girl. She never would've thought that she and Izuku would be under the teachings of All Might to prepare for U.A. It all seemed like a dream, but she knew for a fact that this was really happening.

Kyouka soon laid her guitar on her bed before standing up and walking to her window before taking a deep breath, letting it out.

She looked out the window as she placed her hand on it, looking up at the night's starry sky. "I haven't seen him in for a couple of days now outside of school… I wonder what he's doing right now and if he's taking care of himself…"

Izuku had been acting strange again recently, but this was different and less concerning than last time. Whenever she saw him at school, he was perfectly normal and showed zero signs of any fatigue compared to what happened back in October. Still, nonetheless he would act strange when school ended.

Every day after school, he would be in a rush to go home, and sometimes she would have to run in order to catch up with him. She had no clue why he wanted to go get home so fast and if anything he seemed a little too excited for it as if a hero was at his house.

All Might had given the both of them a couple of days off so she hasn't been to the beach since then. He even let them take the weekend off to relieve some stress.

Of course, she knew that the boy would still be training during this time because knowing him there was no way he would accept a day off with the exam being this close. But she just hoped that he wasn't overdoing it.

She then saw a shooting star in the sky and she smiled before she closed her eyes. She wasn't usually one for superstitions, but she couldn't help but take this chance. 'Please let Izuku become the world's greatest hero…'

The Next Day

"God… why the hell did he even call this early…?" A tired-looking Kyouka mumbled to herself as she started to change.

It was 5:34am and the teen girl was woken up from a call by All Might of all people. This was very unusual indeed because as long as she could remember in these 10 months, he'd never called her directly except for the times Izuku couldn't get to his phone. It's pretty obvious that Izuku is the favorite student, but she didn't mind at all. After all, he's her favorite as well.

She was hoping it was at least something important. She would be pretty pissed if he woke her up this early for nothing.

Maybe he wanted some emergency training session. But if he wanted that then he would've called Izuku first and Izuku would've called her.

Soon the purple haired girl finished changing and made her way to the door before going outside. She looked straight ahead to see All Might in his scrawny form standing on her driveway as he waved at her. "Ah, young Jirou, I'm glad you didn't take long. I'm sorry for calling you on such short notice."

"It's fine I guess, but can I ask why?" Kyouka asked as she yawned, wanting to go back to bed as soon as possible.

The number one hero simply shrugged his shoulders as he rubbed the back of his neck a little. "Well, actually this request is from young Midoriya. Yesterday he texted me that I should take you to the beach this morning."

The young girl raised an eyebrow at this, now seeming a little more interested. "Izuku? Did he say why he wants you to take me to the beach?"

Before she wanted this over with as soon as possible, but now she wanted to know what was going on as soon as possible.

"He didn't give any details, but he wanted me to apologize to you on his behalf as well." The scrawny man said before pointing at his truck. "I'm sure we'll be there by 6 so hopefully that won't be too early for young Midoriya."

Kyouka nodded before walking to the truck with All Might, sitting in the passenger's seat. 'Could this be the reason he's been acting so weird? I hope it isn't anything too bad or serious.'

She did her best to keep all negative thoughts out of her head as she looked out the window, watching as she passed by the other houses.

But maybe it was good news and he made significant progress on cleaning up the beach. He did seem a lot closer to finishing the last time she saw it.

Unfortunately, she would have to wait and see what the boy wanted her there for. But she tried to keep her hope high during the whole ride.

After a while, the two finally made it to the beach and they both exited the car, making their way to the beach before they heard something.

"AAAAHHHHHH!"

"What the hell…" Kyouka said to herself before she and All Might looked up in order to see the source of the noise.

There was a giant pile of trash and right on top of it was a shirtless Izuku screaming at the top of his lungs as he looked up at the sky.

The purple haired girl stared at the boy with wide eyes, noticing something different about his body, but she couldn't exactly tell due to the distance.

As she kept staring, All Might looked at the beach and widened his eyes, seeing it completely cleaned up and looking brand new. "Hey, hey holy crap kid. You even cleaned up outside the area I told you to. Seriously, there's not one speck of trash left on this beach. And you've managed to get it all cleaned up 9 days before the exam, you've more than exceeded my expectations. Holy stinking…" Suddenly he transformed into his muscle form with a wide smile on his face. "SUPER CRAP!"

The teen boy soon stopped screaming and seemed to be worn out before he started to fall off the trash pile. This caused Kyouka to look in concern as she ran down to the beach to try to help him. "Izuku! I'm comi-"

She cut herself off as she saw that All Might had immediately caught the boy in his arms. She quickly sighed in relief before continuing to make her way to the beach to get a closer look at him.

"Excellent work!" The muscular man said as he looked down at his student.

"I finished everything... All Might… I did it… do you think I'm ready now…?" A worn out and sweat covered Izuku asked as he looked up at his idol.

The number one hero started to gently put down the boy as he nodded. "Yeah, you did good kid. I gotta say I'm impressed. I knew you had it in you, but this is beyond. Look at this." He then pulled out his phone and showed the boy a picture of himself. "It's you crying, 10 months ago! Look how far you've come! Such improvement! There's still a long road ahead of you before you can inherit my full power set, but it's starting to look like you can do it!"

Before All Might could let the teen boy look at his own improved body, they both heard feet running on the sand.

"Izuku! You did it!" A smiling Kyouka shouted as she ran towards the green haired boy before giving him a tight hug, not caring about the sweat.

The young girl wasn't thinking right now from happiness at the fact that all of his hard work was worth it in the end. He could now inherit All Might's quirk and achieve his dreams. But suddenly she started to notice something strange as she hugged him. His body was as solid as a rock and she couldn't put her finger on why that was exactly.

Meanwhile, the quirkless boy's face was becoming a bright red from the hug. He'd never been hugged by a girl before not counting his mother and it was certainly a new experience for him.

Another thing was that both teens didn't realize at this moment that Izuku was currently shirtless and how different his body was from before.

After about a minute Kyouka released the young boy from the hug with a light tint of red on her cheeks. "S-Sorry about that…"

"N-No it's fine, I actually liked it… it was new…" The green haired boy said with a smile as he ruffled his hair.

Kyouka then started to look at Izuku more clearly now, finally noticing his body. His entire body was covered in muscles with his brand new muscular arms and his chiseled six-pack. She felt her face heating up more and more as she kept staring with her face becoming a dark red. 'Fuck he's so hot… Damn hormones…'

She had to admit, a small part of her didn't like these muscles much because that would mean that other girls could start being more attracted to him. But of course, the teenager part of her felt very attracted to these muscles.

She then felt some liquid exit her nose but paid no attention to it as her eyes just wouldn't leave the muscular body right in front of her.

However, there was something she noticed as she stared at his body and placed her hand on her chest. Her heart didn't feel any different than it did the day she first saw him. When she looks at him, she still sees the same young scrawny boy who saved her 7 years ago. Even though her hormones were absolutely loving him right now, her heart still holds the same love for him after all of this time.

She couldn't help but smile, knowing that her love for the boy would never change no matter how muscular or scrawny he is. It was a good reminder that her love for him was genuine and that no one could ever love him as much as she does. In her eyes, Izuku would always be perfect and nothing could ever change that.

Soon she was broken out of her thoughts as she heard the boy starting to talk to her.

"K-Kyouka, your nose is bleeding!" A concerned Izuku said as he pointed at her nose.

The purple haired widened her eyes before touching her nose and seeing blood on her finger as she began to wipe it off. "O-Oh it's nothing really! D-Don't worry about it!"

All Might tried to hold in his laugh, watching how embarrassed and naive these two teens were. "You two never cease to entertain me!" The muscular man then went over to them both and placed a hand on their shoulders. "I'm very proud of both of you! You've both accomplished so much in these past 10 months! It's almost enough to make me cry!"

Izuku looked down at his hand as he started to tear up. "All Might… do I deserve this? Are you sure? You and Kyouka have put so much time and energy into helping me. How did I end up so lucky?"

The number one hero laughed a little as he ruffled the boy's hair. "It was your hard work that did this not mine! Also, having a great friend like young Jirou means you've been a great friend yourself! Always remember that everything that has happened is because of you! Now for your reward Izuku Midoriya!"

The quirkless boy then looked up at his hero and nodded as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Yes sir!"

All Might then plucked out a strand of his hair as he smiled at the boy. "Someone told me this once, there's a difference between being lucky and deserving! One's an action and the other a reward, never get the two confused! Take that to heart young man! You've earned it with your own valiant efforts!"

Kyouka felt herself tearing up as well, starting to wipe away her tears almost immediately as she looked at her hero, not noticing All Might handing the boy his hair. 'He's finally done it… He can finally become what he's always wanted to be…'

"Eat this!"

A/N

Chapter 18 is done and I'm alive! Hell yeah! I gotta say it feels good to be done with school work and only focusing on this story. But to be honest I took so much liberty with my free time and had only started working on this chapter a couple of hours ago.

By the way, I'm posting this chapter at 5am and in desperate need for sleep so please tell me if I made any mistakes this chapter!

This chapter is a bit of a shorter one, but I'm happy it is. I can't think of many ways to prolong this chapter and I didn't want to do anything too unnecessary. Also, next chapter might also be a shorter one as well.

You know I spent a good while debating if I should end on "eat this" or Izuku getting the quirk. But I figured that ending it on "eat this" will help the next chapter flow better. And yes only one more chapter until the entrance exam so I'll finally finish episode 3. Jesus it's taken me 20 chapters to finish episode 3 lol. But then again it did take me 12 chapters to even start episode 1. Hope you guys still think my pacing is somewhat decent.

Also quick question guys, do you know if the written part of the exam is after or before the practical? I want to say it's after, but I'm not entirely sure and I don't want to make that mistake.

Ability King KK: Oh yeah 100%, that's kind of what the next chapter will be about and I can guarantee that the entrance exam will go a bit differently on Izuku's part.

Lancaster1517: I definitely understand your concerns and how you want this story to progress after. There have been times where I wanted to rush events, but it just doesn't feel right to me. Ideally I would be at the sports festival arc by now, but I've grown very attached to this story and I love making content for it. I hope you understand my side of this.

A Fan: Oh Mineta? I plan on giving him the worst fucking life and he'll be expelled and then killed off by a villain randomly. Nah I'm just kidding! Actually Mineta is in my top 10 favorite characters in MHA and the only time I've had an issue with him was the comment towards Eri where I was just like "oh god no, people are going to hate him more now." I don't know if I'll develop him more since I wouldn't be that good at doing it, but I can promise I won't do unnecessary bashing. Of course he will be the butt of the joke sometimes, but that's just one of the comedic aspects of his character.

Im The Person: Well you've seen my PMs lol.

Naoto Koizumi: Oh I certainly wanted to expand that scene with All Might a lot more. That's the thing that bothered me most about the chapter, how little I included All Might. Well I would like to think that Kyouka was being naive at that moment and was just hoping he would stop and wanted to be there for it. I do agree with having Izuku show some pain, it would've helped the narrative so much more. There will definitely be more conflict between the two in later chapters and I know I'll have fun writing it all.

Chuck Winanaki: Yep 9 days early, pretty significant if you ask me. Don't worry, he will be a little stronger than in canon, but it won't be a huge margin. He will just be a little more ahead in his training.

Guest: I know what I want to do regarding what Ochako calls Izuku and actually Dekiru is one of the names I've been considering.

Guest: Personally, I'm not too much of a fan of having the word "All" in Izuku's name, I want him to become his own hero instead of completely copying All Might.

SonicMax: Unfortunately yeah, it kind of kills me too how long I have to wait to write actual romance scenes between them.
