Michaela was beyond hurt and pissed, what happened at the party was worse than any of the shit she had to put up with. How Adam could be just like every other jock, how he fooled her, she still didn't understand. He ran after her, trying to stop her from leaving but things were clear. He wanted to go to Jade's party, he didn't hesitate to go up to her room, of course something was going on.
She sat in the bleachers just wanting to crawl back in bed and sleep, but the sports writer for the paper ended up with Mono so here she was covering tonight's game, lying to her mother saying everything was fine, and wanting to stab Jade every time she raised her damn pompoms.
"Why so glum Micky?" India the paper's photographer asked as she snapped a photo of Mic.
"I just don't really want to be here. That's all." Mic said. "I am not even a sports writer, why couldn't Cory do it? Or jeff?"
India shrugged. "No Idea but here we are so lets make the most of it."
Michaela frowned as Adam ran out onto the field and she spotted Jade and the other cheerleaders running over to the players. "This is gonna be one long ass game."
India looked at her before looking at the field before nodding slowly. "So does this attitude have anything to do with Adam?" She asked, smirking.
Mic cut her eyes at the other. "Adam and everyone else involved can rot in hell."
India giggled. "Woah! I thought you two were becoming a thing… what happened?"
"That bitch Jade happened! I found her and Adam in her room, she was in his lap…" Mic shook her head. "I don't care anymore. I just want to finish my time here, take extra courses this summer so I can graduate early and never have to deal with shit like this again." She said, wiping a stray tear.
"Hey, don't be like that. You can't let them have this much power over you and as for Jade, everyone knows Adam doesn't like her like that… well everyone except for her." India said, rubbing her back reassuringly.
"He liked her plenty when his tongue was down her throat." Mic said as Jade wrapped herself around Adam on the field. "I can't help but think all of this was a setup because I beat Jade's ass in front of everyone. She got Adam to play me… he's been my best friend since before we were born, our parents literally got pregnant together and if that's really what he did." She shook her head. "Then they deserve each other."
India sighed, shaking her head. "If you really think that then maybe it's best you and him go your separate ways because we all see how he looks at you. Plus Jade is a manipulative bitch and has had it out for you for years now."
"It's already done. I am done with him and her. Anything else I really don't care about." Mic spat jotting down some information on the other team. "I am gonna sit here, do my time and be done. Simple."
India shrugged before standing. "You gotta do what you gotta do, I'm going to get some pictures of the squad." She said before walking down the steps to the field.
Michaela watched her go, she didn't want to talk anymore either, she was done with the whole situation, you don't trust anyone, you don't open yourself up to being hurt, she made the mistake of trusting Adam, she wouldn't again.
"Let's go Panthers, Let's go!" [Clap, Clap, Clap] "We got Spirit, yes we do, we got spirit how about you!"
Michaela rolled her eyes as she had to sit back and listen to this bull shit.
Jade moved in front of Mic and flipped her hair. "Let's get physical, get down! Get hard! Get mean! Let's get physical and beat that other team!"
She did a front handstand into a flip and smiled. "Hey hey are you ready? [clap, clap] Are you ready to play [clap, clap], say go team! [clap] Go team [Clap] Panthers All the way!"
"Stronger than steel, hotter than the sun; Adam Chang won't stop til he gets the job done!"
Michaela looked at Jade who was smiling smugly before waving at her. "Let's go Adam! Let's go!" Jade shouted and the crowd repeated.
Adam searched the crowd and when his eyes landed on Mic he gave her a hopeful smile. But her eyes moved to Jade who turned towards him and blew him a kiss. He looked back at Mic who shook her head looking away from him. Adam tried to move closer to her but his team called him into the locker room.
Michaela rolled her eyes not wanting to see anymore and stood from her seat walking out to the concession stands. Maybe something cold to drink would cool the anger she felt inside of her. Needing to talk to someone she pulled out her phone calling her mom but it went right to voicemail.
Mic sighed remembering she was on a flight home and wouldn't be able to answer. Maybe she could have Indy tell her the end and she could just go home and stuff her face with cookies and cream ice cream.
Mic paid for her drink and sighed walking back to her seat trying to figure out every way she could avoid actually staying for the next hour or so.
"Let's go Panthers! Let's GO!" Jade said as she and some of the cheerleaders walked towards the concession stand. "God they will let anyone in here won't they? Including ugly wannabee's." Jade said before 'accidently' bumping into Michaela's. "Oops hope you didn't spill your drink."
As her shoulder hit her, Jade looked at her smugly Mic smirked looking at her drink getting an idea. "Naw there's some left, here you have it." Mic said, bumping her back along with tossing her drink. The red soda spilled all over Jade's crisp white uniform.
"Oh no, Jade my bad I lost my grip on the cup." She said hiding the smile that was threatening to form, the girl looked like a messy rag doll and Mic was thrilled.
"What the fuck is wrong with you!" Jade shouted, pushing Michaela hard.
Mic fell against one of the stalls, knocking over the popcorn maker and shook her head. "See it wasn't enough for me to beat you up in front of the school huh? You want me to kick your ass in front of everyone? Okay." Michaela stood up running towards Jade tackling her to the ground landing a few punches on the blonde's face.
As they both fell, the knocked over several food stands in the process and earned loud shouts from the attendants before someone pulled out their phone and started recording while another went to get the security as more people started running over to watch the fight.
Jade pushed her off of her before climbing on top of her and started swinging on her and pulling her hair. "You stupid bitch!" She shouted hitting Michaela again. "No one wants you here and no one likes you!"
Michaela grabbed Jade by her hair, tugging it to the left as her right hand punched at her. She used both her hands to tilt Jade off balance so they were both on their sides, taking the opportunity to punch and kick her away.
As they separated they both jumped up. Jade moved over to the hot dog vendor and grabbed the ketchup bottle as Michaela grabbed the nozzle for the pepis and they both began spraying each other, hitting those in the crowd as well.
Michaela grabbed a bunch of ready made popcorn and tossed it at Jade before moving closer to hit her again. "I hate you! I hate you so much! You stupid bully bitch!" Mic screamed. Jade grabbed Mic by her hair and at this point each girl was keeping one hand gripped tightly and the other hand was swinging wildly, sometimes landing on the other.
A few football players ran up to try and help as security finally arrived but the crowd prevented them from moving further. Adam somehow made his way through the crowd along with Eric, a wide receiver. As Adam grabbed Mic, Eric grabbed Jade.
Jade turned in Eric's arms trying to shove him off so she could go back to Mic, as Adam turned Mic to him, only to get slapped in the face hard and shoved.
"I hate you too! Let me go!" Michaela shouted.
Jade turned back to Michaela angrily. "Let me go so I can finish kicking her ass!"
"Ha! Bitch, I bet it last time and this time! You're delusional!" Michaela spat back trying to wiggle out of Adam's arms.
"Bee, you gotta calm down." Adam said, worriedly.
"Aren't you protecting the wrong girl Adam? Better go back over there to Jade before she has even more reasons to be jealous of me!" Mic screamed.
"JEALOUS! HA! You are dirt underneath my feet! You and your skank mother don't know when a guy isn't into you!" Jade yelled back.
Adam furrowed his brows, looking at Jade. "Don't talk about her or her mother that way!" He said half tempted to let Michaela go so she could attack her again.
Mic laughed, breaking free just enough to get close to Jade before Adam wrapped his arm around her, holding her in place. "Funny considering your dad and my mom are together right now at their hotel."
Jade looked at her before shaking her head. "No, I told my dad that I didn't want him dating her so he stopped!"
"He was in her room, they were about to take a shower together…" Michaela replied smugly before Jade slapped her.
"ALRIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH!" They heard someone say before four officers came into view. "You're all under arrest."
"Arrest? You can't arrest me! Arrest her! This is all her fault!" Jade shrieked.
"Cuff those three." The officer said before they started cuffing Jade, Michaela and Adam.
"My mom is going to kill me…" Adam said, shaking his head. "She's gonna kill us all…"
Mercedes had never enjoyed a convention as much as she enjoyed this one. The sexting, the breakfast in bed, it was like their own getaway that brought them closer.
It wasn't just a weekend of non stop pleasure they talked, and laughed and realized just how much they had in common. And now they were cuddled up on the plane. They somehow ended up on the same flight home, so they convinced the ticket lady to upgrade Mercedes from Coach and Sam from business and put them both in first class next to each other.
She laid on his shoulder, hand running down his chest. "You know, I have always been interested in joining the mile high club." She teased.
Sam looked at her, licking his lips. "Really? And how do you propose we do this?"
She looked around, everyone was in their own world. "We can do it right here with our hands, or we can head to that tiny bathroom and…"
Sam smiled nipping at her lips. "You know I am never gonna turn down being inside of you." He teased.
"Meet me in there, don't chicken out." Mercedes said before walking into the small bathroom. She looked around as a soft knock came. She opened the door, pulling Sam in and crashing her lips to his.
Sam moved her around and she giggled. "This is the craziest thing I have ever done."
Sam nipped her lips. "Me too." His hand went under her dress, as her hands moved to unbutton jeans.
Within seconds he was buried inside of her, pushing her up against the door, taking her lips in his to bury their moans.
"I love how you feel Sam, you fit me so perfectly."
"Merce, we fit perfectly, this whole week has been perfect." Sam said, grabbing her hand and linking them. "Be with me?"
Mercedes let out a soft moan. "I am with you baby."
Sam teased her with a thrust. "I mean I want you, all of you, I want to date you, I want to build a life with you."
"Mmm… Sam, you know why we can't do that." She replied, biting on his neck.

Mercedes bit her bottom lip trying to stifle her moan. "Yes, baby I w-want you."

When she opened the door two pairs of eyes glanced at her and started giggling. Mercedes blushed and turned to Sam. "No need to wait…we've been caught."
Sam looked out and gave a shit eating grin as he nodded to the two flight attendants and took Mercedes hand leading her back to their seats. He linked his hand with hers. "Thank you for taking a chance on me." He said after a few moments.
Mercedes smiled, settling down in her seat. "Thank you for wanting to try this out with me… we'll have to tell the girls sooner than later, even though we kinda already have approval from Mic."
Sam nodded. "We can have dinner at my place, that way Jade will feel more comfortable."
"Mhm, already trying to get me in your bed?"
"My bed, my shower, my back yard." He teased kissing her neck.
Mercedes giggled, leaning her head to the side allowing him more access. "I have a pretty nice bed too… we could test out my new headboard."
"Well now, we should test both to see which one we like better. I think we need to test each house thoroughly and a couple times each before we declare a winner."
"Why limit it to our houses only?" She asked, nipping at his lips.
"If you tell me that you are gonna let me live out my fantasy of having a beautiful woman come to my office and let me have my way with her…I am going to marry you on the spot." He teased.
Mercedes bit her lip. "We can always play doctor." She teased back.
"The Captain has put on the seat belt sign as we prepare for landing. Please sit your chairs up, put up your trays and place your seat belts as the flight attendants come by one last time to help you before we land."
Sam looked at Mercedes after putting his seat belt on. "Time to face the music and tell the girl's we are together. I shouldn't be bad I mean whats the worst that can happen?" Sam joked. A joke he wished he hadn't made because as they landed on the tarmac and he turned his phone back on, he was bombarded with over two dozen messages.
"Oh my God." He said as the messages kept coming in so he couldn't see what was wrong yet.
Mercedes looked at him turning her own phone on. "What's going on? Your many girlfriends miss…you." Her smile turned to a frown when the same thing happened to her. Tina, Santana and Brittany were messaging her, telling her to call them ASAP. "Sam…somethings wrong."
Sam had a sinking feeling that after they found out what happened things with Mercedes were going to be even more complicated. Seeing texts from Mike and Penny, he decided to call Penny, after a few rings she answered frantically.
"Sam? Sam?"
"Penny what's going on?"
"Have you touched down? We need you at the police station right away." Penny said.
"Police Station?!" Sam heard Mercedes yelp and looked over to her, catching her eyes as Penny proceeded to tell him how Jade, Michaela and Adam got arrested at the football game last night and since its the weekend the Police were not releasing them.
"We are on our way Penny." Sam said without thinking.
"We?" Penny replied as Sam hung up. He looked over to Mercedes and reached for her hand. "It's gonna be okay, we are going to figure this out, okay?"
Mercedes looked away for a moment reading the message for Tina, saying that Jade said some mean things about her and Michaela and she wasn't so sure they could figure things out now. "I need to get to my daughter… I'll meet you there." She replied, gently taking her hand away from his.
They were both quiet as they got off the plane and down to baggage claim, Sam didn't know what to say, there really wasn't anything he could say at this point to fix what he daughter broke. "You can ride with me, Mercedes I have a car waiting." He said but he saw the look on her face, everything they shared, didn't matter, this was serious.
"My car is here, I need to go." She said, refusing to look at him before walking away.
Sam looked after her, closing his eyes for a moment as he grabbed his bag and headed towards his awaiting car to take him to the Police department.
Mercedes arrived first, immediately being greeted by Tina and Santana who were both sporting nervous looks. "What happened? Why was she arrested?" She asked them.
"Well… she was arrested for damaging property and somewhat causing a riot due to the fight." Tina answered. "Adam was arrested too but it's still unclear as to what he did."
Sam walked into the Police station and his eyes immediately found Mercedes. He was about to go over to her when Mike and Penny stopped him.
"Sam it's really bad, they arrested Jade! Put my baby in handcuffs like some common criminal for a little fight." Penny said.
Mike ran his hands through his hair. "It wasn't a little fight. She and Mic caused about fifteen thousand dollars of damage to the stadium and vendors."
Mercedes' entire body went cold. "Excuse me? How much?"
"Ay dios mio, chica… this is some mess!" Santana said, shaking her head. "But you know Micky wouldn't have done that for no reason."
Tina looked over at Penny who overheard Santana and made a face. "Adam said when finally managed to get to them that he wasn't sure who started it…"
"Well it obviously wasn't my Jadey's fault!" Penny said defensively.
"Penny, don't." Sam said, running his hand through his hair. "What do we need to do to get them out?"
"Them?" Penny asked with a laugh. "There is no them, I am having Jade press charges as soon as she comes out here. Her daughter is not going to get away with this?"
Mercedes stepped closer to Penny. "You are going to do what?"
Penny looked Mercedes up and down before waving her hand dismissively. "My daughter was very adamant that she didn't start this but she did finish it and I believe her. We are pressing charges, your daughter assaulted mine!"
"Penny! That's enough!" Sam yelled through gritted teeth.
"Excuse me, are you the parents of the teens we arrested?" An officer asked.
"Yes, I'm Michaela Tinsely's mother. Is she okay? Is she hurt?" Mercedes asked.
"And I am Jade Evans' father. We would like to see our children now."
The officer nodded. "We have to go over a few things first… is this all family?"
'Yes, these are Michaela's aunts and uncle and their child is also back there, Adam Chang." Mercedes answered.
"That's Jade mother and step-father." Sam added.
"Oh.. okay well, the vendors are pressing charges for damages, the stadium is as well and apparently a few by-standers are also pressing charges. Each of your children will need to post bond in order to get released but will have to return for court when a date is given. I also want to add that because of the severity they may consider tying them as adults."
Mercedes shook her head in disbelief. "Wh-what? No… they're first time offenders and they're kids! What if we offered to pay the damages today?"
Penny rolled her eyes. "My ex is not paying for all this on his own, in fact we're not paying for anything! I want to press charges against her daughter!"
"PENNY SHUT THE HELL UP!" Sam said shaking his head.
Mercedes sighed. "I can cover it all on my own." She said looking over at Penny.
"No, we will split it, Mercedes." Sam said, turning her face to his. "This was something they both did. And we will both take care of it. Together." He said hoping she understood what he said on the plane. "And as for charges. Officer there will be no pressing charges, we will pay the bond and take our children home. Thank you."
The officer nodded. "Okay I will grab their paperwork and once you pay we will bring them out."
Penny grabbed Sam's arm and pulled him away from everyone. "Why the hell are you offering to pay half? Jade didn't do anything wrong!"
Sam yanked his arms away from her. "Penny, will you take the damn blinders off. This is not the first time they have fought and Jade was the aggressor that time. And you need to respect Mercedes enough as a mother yourself to understand that this is hard on all of us. So why don't you pull that head of yours out of your ass, act like a grown up and help me figure out how we are going to help all three of these kids because this is not just about Jade!" Sam turned away from her and moved over to Mercedes.
"Are you okay Merce?" He asked, rubbing her arms and knowing she wasn't.
Mercedes let out a heavy breath before stepping away from him. "Not right now Sam and I can cover the whole thing, it's nothing." She said filling out the form
"No, it's something Mercedes. Look at me. Please." He said, staring at her.
She shook her head before looking up at him. "Sam, our children are in jail right now, I don't… I can not think about us right now."
"I am not talking about us, I am here making sure you are okay, because this is bad all around."
"Yeah, well I can't help but think that this wouldn't have happened if your daughter knew how to handle rejection. Excuse me, I need to see about my daughter." She snapped before handing her paper back to the clerk.
Sam sighed, running his hand through his hair taking the form and filling out Jade's information.
It took another forty-five minutes before anything happened but once everything was paid, the kids were let out of holding and released to their parents.
Mercedes nervously waited for Michaela to come from the back, she looked over her shoulder seeing how worried Sam looked and sighed because she felt bad for snapping at him but she needed to focus on her daughter.
"Mommy…" Michaela said pitifully and Mercedes rushed to wrap her up in a hug. "I'm so sorry mom."
"Oh it's okay baby… well it's not okay but it's okay." She said, holding her tight. "Are you okay?"
Michaela shook her head. "I'm so embarrassed… I shouldn't have…" She started before tears started falling.
Mercedes quickly wiped them away. "We'll talk about it when we get home, okay?" Michaela just nodded before hugging her mom again.
Jade and Adam came out next sporting tow completely different expression. Adam took one look at his mother and turned around while Jade looked pissed off as she stared at Michaela walking over to her parents.
"ADAM MICHAEL CHANG!" Tina shouted and he peeked his head out from around the corner.
Mike shook his head at his son, telling him not come before wincing when Tina pinched him. "Ow, I thought we agreed not to be abusive in front of the kid."
"If you're not careful you both will be sleeping in a tent." Tina warned.
"Heyyy ma… pop. Sup?" Adam said with a guilty smile.
Tina walked up to her son, narrowing her eyes at him. "You wanna explain what happened?"
Adam looked over at Michaela before sighing. "Wellll… no?"
"It wasn't his fault Aunt Tina, Adam was trying to break it up and he got pulled in for some reason." Michaela said looking at them, she was still upset but he didn't deserve this.
Mike smiled. "See he was being noble, good job kid."
Adam smiled looking down at his mother, who had her brows furrowed. "I wasn't asking about the fight, I want to know what he did to make her mad at him."
Adam opened and closed his mouth before looking at his dad who shrugged. "I… what makes you think I did something?'
Tina sighed, crossing her arms over her chest waiting for him to explain. "Fine, Jade kissed me and she thinks I was playing her but I wasn't."
"Okay enough with this drama, I want to know why my daughter was even remotely involved in this mess!" Penny said before flinching when Santana bucked at her.
"I don't mind going to jail, so watch your mouth." Santana warned her and Penny looked over at the officer who held up their hands.
"What happened?" Sam asked Jade, who immediately put on the water works.
"I was just walking and she bumped into me before throwing her drink all over me!" She replied sniffling. "I'm innocent!"
"Innocent? I don't know who actually hit who first but I can tell you guys right now Jade is not innocent!" Adam said, moving closer. "Jade invited me to her room at the party she threw the other day and after I told her I was seeing Mic, she kissed me. Mic saw and got angry. And Mic I am sorry I even went up there, but I promise you, I wasn't kissing her. I don't have feelings for her. I never have."
Sam laughed bitterly. "Wait a party? What party and why didn't Katherine tell me there was a party going on in my house?"
Jade chewed on her nail. "She… wasn't there."
"What are you talking about Jade?" Sam asked.
Penny rolled her eyes. "Please you are the one who told her it was okay to stay home until Katherine returned."
Sam looked at Penny. "No, I didn't." He looked at Jade. "You really need to start speaking, Jade. NOW!"
Jade sniffled. "Dad, why are you attacking me! I thought it was okay!"
"If you thought it was okay, why did you lie to your mother? Why did you lie to me?" Sam questioned, shaking his head.
"Because I knew mom would believe me! Unlike you." She said, folding her arms across her chest.
"So you lied to your mom because you knew she would believe it." Sam looked at Penny. "Still think she's completely blameless here Penny?"
Penny looked at their daughter. "Did you start this baby?" She asked and Mercedes rolled her eyes.
'Do you need anything else from us?" Mercedes asked not caring to hear Jade's lies.
"You'll get all your court information in the mail, everyone is free to go." The officer replied and Mercedes nodded, grabbing Michaela's hand and leading her to the exit.
"Mercedes wait, we need to figure out how to proceed from here." Sam said, stopping her.
"No, you need to figure out how to handle Jade's end of things and I need to figure out Michaela's. She already has a lawyer." She replied nodding over to Santana.
"So does Jade!" Penny spat pointing to her husband, Karl. "And we will still be considering pressing charges."
Mercedes looked at Penny then to Sam before shaking her head. "Goodnight, let's go baby. T and Mike, you can come over tomorrow and we'll figure everything out."
"Mercedes." Sam said once more looking at her then gave her a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "You guys get home safe."
"Yeah, you too." She replied before walking out with Michaela followed by Tina, Santana and Adam.
Mike sighed. "Just… just give her time." He said patting him on the shoulder.
"I had her and I lost her…don't think I will get another chance man." Sam said looking over to his friend. "I am really sorry about all this man."
Mike smirked. "We warned you but if you give up now, you'll prove our point. Just sleep on it." He replied, waving and walking out.
Sam nodded. He looked at Penny and Karl who were huddled, talking to Jade and moved over to them. "Let's get something straight right now. There will be no pressing charges on anyone. And if you were smart you wouldn't bring it up again before Michaela's lawyer tries to do that to us, there is more evidence against Jade than there is Michaela." He knew that was the only way to get through to the crazy people before him. "And Jade, I think drastic measures need to be taken. Like pulling you off of Cheerleading, Volleyball and Track and field."
Jade's eyes grew wide. "No! No you can't!"
"I can and I just did." Sam said.
"Mom! Mom, you are not letting him do this. Tell him you aren't letting him get away with this! He can't take away my sports."
Penny sighed. "Sam that is a bit much besides. It'll reflect good on her that she's so involved in her school activities."
Sam shook his head. "They're also a privilege and she no longer has them, either she quits herself or I call the school and do it for her. Let's go Jade, we can discuss this further tomorrow."
