Dick Wolf owns everything

No Ring, Winks, and A Few Things…

Elliot had woken up a few hours after they had fallen asleep. He needed her. He always needed her. She had instilled and fulfilled his powerful need to own her, and now he wanted to satisfy another need. He wanted to love her slowly.

He had so much love for her, and he wanted to show her. Show her how much he cherished her and this second chance. This second chance with her and with life. He was sure she already knew, but he promised himself when she kissed him back out on the street that night at Fin's wedding, he would spend the rest of his life making sure she always knew.

She had her back to him, still tucked up into his arms. He softly pulled her hair off her neck and moved his hand down to her bare thigh, slowly making circles on her silky skin. His lips lightly kissed the nape of her neck. He loved the nape of her neck.

Whenever she broke down and was vulnerable with him in the past, which wasn't very often, he would put his hand on the nape of her neck. He wanted to comfort her, touch her and show her he was there for her. He thought about holding her hand, but he knew that would give him away. He thought about grabbing her shoulder, but he also felt like that wouldn't be enough.

On a whim he thought well I could put my hand on the nape of her neck… that spot would be the least dangerous place to touch her and yet still convey his compassion.

He was wrong.

There wasn't a place on her body that wouldn't be dangerous to him, but the nape of her neck… the soft skin there, and the goosebumps he felt ripple across that spot when he first touched her there… it instantly became his favorite place to touch her, so he barely ever did out of his own survival.

But now that he has touched her and loved her and had his lips and tongue and hands all over her body, there wasn't a single place he didn't want to be. And he was free to touch and kiss and love all of her. So why wouldn't he?

He felt her shiver and slowly take a deep breath in. She softly brought the arm of his that was underneath her, cradling her, and intertwined her hand with his and brought his fingertips to her lips, kissing them.

He pulled her closer to him with the hand that had been on her thigh, sliding it up to her stomach and then between her breasts up to her chin, turning her head so he could kiss her. It was slow and soft and languid. He took his time committing every sensation to memory. She quietly moaned and arched into him feeling him grow against her backside.

He rolled her over sliding himself between her legs needing to feel her wrapped around him, keeping their lips connected. Her hands went to his neck, and then slipped over his shoulders and pulled him close. Her legs widened to accommodate him, and her heels slipped over his calves, locking her legs with his. He broke their kiss and opened his eyes and just looked at her. They didn't need to say anything. Her eyes spoke volumes to how much she loved him.

He felt a lump in his throat and his breath hitched in his chest. He just loved this beautiful woman beneath him so much. More than anything.

His soulmate.

His love

His best friend

His partner for life.

His eyes started to water, overwhelmed by her and all the feelings he has for her. He held her eye contact as he shifted and lined himself up at her entrance. Her breath quickened and her lips parted feeling the tip of him.

Then he entered her gently, her hands moving to his face to hold him there looking straight into his soul as they became one again, and they slowly made love to each other as the rest of the world disintegrated around them.

It was still early when they both woke up. Olivia let out a big breath and stretched, or tried to stretch, her muscles sore and achy. She smiled to herself feeling Elliot all over her. She could still feel every inch his hands had touched, every inch his lips and tongue had tasted, and the ache between her legs was just so damn good.

Elliot was laying on his stomach, his arm across her waist, his hand low on her hip, his head turned away from her. She felt him grip her tighter as she stretched and he groaned, protesting her movements. She turned and slid her hand up his bicep, and across his back. He breathed in deep at her touch. She looked at him in the light of the morning. He also had marks on his shoulder and the cord of muscle connecting to his neck. It was actually quite a deep bite mark she had left. She smiled, proud of it.

This was becoming a new thing for her. Normally she objected to leaving marks, or having marks left on her, especially in plain view, but she just couldn't keep herself from doing it to Elliot or letting him do it to her. And she decided right then she kind of liked it… actually kind of loved it. She loved having physical proof of his desire for her.

In the days after he first left a mark on her neck, she would have moments where part of her mind had to tell herself this was all real… not a dream and she wasn't going to wake up in a stark reality without him. The marks he left on her skin were proof it happened… was happening.

She tried to shake him awake.

"El… we have to get up." She said, whispering in his ear.

He groaned into his pillow, making no movement.

"El…" she said a little louder.

Still… there was no movement.

She sighed. He was harder to get up than Noah. She tried to think of something that might jolt him awake.

"El… did I ever tell you about the time I was with a woman?"

He didn't move, or make a sound, but he did exhale a little more.

"Oh and it was Alex Cabot… we fucked in her office…" she said looking for shock value.

"Well next time I see her maybe I'll ask if she's up for a threesome…" he said, turning his head towards her a big smile on his face.

"Ugh, you ass!" she said, laughing at him as he pulled her into his arms. He kissed her smiling face and she hummed happily.

"I'm kidding…" he said. "Unless you think she'd go for it?" he said, bracing himself for her reaction.

"Oh my God El…" she said rolling her eyes at him, and playfully hitting his chest.

He laughed grabbing her hand and keeping it there on his chest, then moving it over to his heart.

"I really am kidding Liv… You're all I need… All I ever needed." He said, smiling softly as his hand caressed the top of hers.

She looked down at his hand and noticed something was missing. His wedding band. He had taken it off. Her heart stopped.

He felt her body stiffen and he looked down at her.

"You ok?" he asked questioning her sudden change in demeanor.

"Um…" she paused. Her fingers went to his ring finger. "Your ring…" she said tepidly.

He grabbed her hand and kissed it. He felt her worry slowly start to ebb and she softened back into him, but there was still uneasiness in her eyes as she looked up at him.

"It was time. I took it off after Millie's. I didn't want to keep loving you having that on my finger. It felt like I was betraying both of you." he said.

"El… its ok… if you still feel… if you still want to wear it…" she said, stumbling over her words, not sure how to deal with the fact that he took his ring off.

"Liv… I'm with you now. I'm all in… remember…" he said reminding her of the text he sent her a while back.

Her heart beat quickened, and she felt the blush creep up in her cheeks. That seemed to be a new thing for her as well. He seemed to be making her do that a lot lately.

"I love you El." She said, full of honesty.

"I love you too beautiful…" he said, and then he kissed her softly. Moving hair out of her face as he pulled away. She sighed taking a moment to wrap her mind around what he just said. After a few seconds of looking into his eyes and confirming he was sure about his decision she smiled at him.

"Ok we really do need to get up…" she said as she kissed him again and she reluctantly moved her hand from his.

They both groaned as they moved to get out of bed. Elliot heard her laugh softly to herself as Olivia swung her legs down.

"What's so funny?" He asked turning and groaning more as he stood up.

"Well for starters we both sound old…" she said, and he chuckled at that comment.

"I may be old, but I definitely don't feel old. You make me feel eighteen again…" he said eyeing her naked body as she stretched a little. She turned running her hands through her hair feeling her muscles ache a little as she did. She smiled at him.

"Eighteen huh?" she asked.

He laughed. "Yea you know, a stiff breeze and I was ready, but it was just physical… but you…" he said eyeing her up and down taking a deep breath.

"Sometimes just looking at you makes me hard… and being with you is… indescribable… I can't help thinking about you… all the time. You make me feel things I didn't even know existed." He said as he made his way over to her.

"So, I'm not just a stiff breeze…" she said playing with him, lifting her eyebrow up as a smile curled her lips.

Elliot took her face in his hands as he moved closer to her.

"Honey… you have never been just anything… you are everything… my everything." He said sealing his words with a slow burning kiss.

She was melting again.

She stood up wrapping her arms around him as he slid his down around her, and she deepened the kiss. This was never going to get old. Loving him was never going to fade. She knew this burn of theirs was slow to start and lasted through all their bullshit and a decade of radio silence, but now it was a raging inferno that would burn forever. Nothing and no one could put it out.

The way she felt about him was just so entirely right. Every sweet declaration he made to her was real and honest. He left no doubt in her mind he meant every word. It was overwhelming and utterly earned in every way. She was still struggling sometimes to believe it was real. That all this… him… them… their love… is real. It's real and it's happening.

She ended their kiss before they ended up back in bed knowing they didn't have time for another round before work. Every time she knew she had to leave him her heart sank. It was hard having him back in her life not being his partner anymore. Not working with him every day. But she knew this was so much better. This was her chance at happiness. He was her happiness. She wouldn't trade her relationship now with him for anything.

"I'd love to continue this… but we need to clean up our mess in your living room and get ready for work." She said trailing her hands over his skin.

"Hmmmm…" he groaned. "You started it…" he said, and his lips went to her ear, and trailed down her jaw.

She hummed as his lips slowly moved over her skin, chipping away at her resolve.

"God… you drive me crazy…" he said and continued his gentle soft tasting of her skin. "I just want you all the time…"

Olivia chuckled at his shameless comment. She loved how he never left her unsure about his want for her.

Elliot gripped her lower back tighter and heard her groan a little in discomfort. He quickly looked up at her.

"I'm sorry… I didn't hurt you, did I?"

"No, no… just a little sore my love…" and she smiled and winked at him.

A huge smile crossed his face. He loved her new pet name for him, and that she was flirting with him. Her winking at him was hot as hell. He felt giddy, again she never ceases to surprise him.

"Did you just wink at me?" he said, his excitement on full display.

"I did…" she said, her smile widening at his reaction as she swayed with him a little.

He was just too damn cute. She loved how enthralled he was with her flirting with him.

She winked at him again giving him a coy smile.

"That's hot…" he said gripping her tighter, causing her a tiny bit of discomfort again. He felt her tense and rubbed into the muscles in her lower back trying to ease her soreness causing a moan to escape her lips and her eyes closed.

"Oh that feels so good…" she said, steadying herself by gripping his shoulder. Elliot grinned to himself, loving that he could make her feel good on so many different levels now.

An idea popped into Olivia's head as Elliot's hands moved up her back and he pulled her closer to him, and she felt his erection growing.

"How about we make a deal…" she said opening her eyes and looking demurely at El.

"Yea?" he questioned his eyes now unable to leave her lips.

"How about we get ready for work, and later sometime I'll let you give me a massage?" she said smirking.

"I absolutely love that idea… and I want nothing more than to rub oil all over your beautiful body… but what part of that deal will help me out with this now?" he said motioning to his growing erection.

"Oh… did I forget to mention…" she said looking down at his cock, "that… ah… getting ready for work includes showering…" she said, and her tongue slowly smoothed over her lips.

Before she knew what was happening Elliot bent over, hauled her up over his shoulder carrying her.

"El!" she shouted, surprised by his actions.

"Honey… we have to get ready for work…" he said smiling.

Her laughter echoed throughout his apartment as he took her into his bathroom.

After Olivia blew Elliot's… mind… again during their shower, she made her way out into his living room in her towel to survey the damage and grab her overnight bag.

The dishes he broke were scattered across his floor as well as their clothes. She smiled to herself. She might have to get him some plastic plates for the future. She looked at the kitchen table remembering everything they had done on it. She tip toed around the broken dishes and over to his sink looking for a cloth she could use to wash off the table.

"Hey, I'll help you… hang on…" Elliot said wrapping his towel around his waist.

He went over to the small closet and got out a broom and dustpan and started sweeping up the mess he made. Olivia smiled at him as she cleaned the table.

After El was done, he started gathering their clothes. He made sure to keep the ruined lingerie so he could replace them. He couldn't wait to buy her more and ruin those as well.

When Olivia was done with the table, she straightened out the pillows on his couch and grabbed her bag. She kissed Elliot on her way back into his bedroom and started to get dressed.

Elliot entered a few minutes later opening his closet to get dressed. Olivia looked at her phone, checking to see if she missed any calls.

"Did Lucy stay with Noah last night?" El asked.

"No, actually Fin and Phoebe took him." She said.

Elliot's eyes widened. "Really? Do they want any kids?"

"Hmm… I don't know… I never asked, but I think Fin is happy being an Uncle to Noah." She said smiling.

She looked back at her phone and sighed as she read her texts.

"Everything ok?" El asked as he buttoned up his shirt.

"Yea, just caught a new case. Rollins and Kat are on their way to the hospital now. I'll have to have Lucy pick up Noah from Fin's."

El made his way over to Liv and hugged her. "I miss him too…" El said.

She sighed and smiled as she hugged him back. He knew her so well, and she loved how much he loved her son.

Olivia moved to grab his tie and started to fit it under his collar. Elliot smiled and let her dress him.

"Well I believe you made plans with us this weekend for more baseball…" she said smiling back at him.

"I wouldn't miss it for anything…." he said and kissed her. She hummed in his mouth before she pulled away.

"Hey, do you need a ride to work?" El asked.

"No… my car is here. Do you think I'd get in a cab basically naked?" she said chuckling smoothing out his tie.

"Right…" he said trailing off remembering the moment she slid her coat off last night and glad she drove herself.

She sighed, a small pout on her face.

"I hate leaving you…" she said, and he could see the distinct hint of pain in her eyes.

"I know… I hate it too." he said brushing her hair behind her ear. She kissed him lightly, knowing if she kissed him how she wanted to kiss him she wouldn't be going to work.

"Ok I really gotta go now." she said. "I love you sweets…" she said, and winked at him again.

A full smile crossed his face. "I love you too beautiful…" he said and winked back at her before he kissed her cheek.

He watched her grab her bag and walk towards his bedroom door and she turned around stopping for a moment. She smiled and it was everything. He felt his heart swell and he smiled back at her, then she turned and left his apartment.

Elliot sat down on his bed to put his shoes on and took a deep breath in. He needed to be prepared today. Today he was going to talk to Bell.

About everything.
